[3] personal astrology observations

[!] this is mostly an introspective view into my chart; in no way, shape, or form am i saying that any of this is fact or set in stone, nor am i saying that i am a professional astrologer. these are just presences that exist within my chart that i've felt manifest themselves in real life. simply put, take what resonates and leave what doesn't :)

— the observation that venus in the 9th house and sagittarius mars natives are far more likely to be attracted to foreigners and/or meet their future partner/s in a foreign country is true!

[nothing, just felt like confirming, esp as someone w both these placements 🤭 like, i honestly am more likely to be approached (in a romantic setting) by a foreigner both in-person and online!]

═ sun square neptune is the aspect of daydreamers. they're always thinking about an idealized version of the future or dwelling on the past. rarely do they ever think in the present. it is often easier for them to drift off into a daze either thinking about what could have been or everything that could be.

☰ chiron in fifth house indicates pain associated with creative passions and self-expression. one may have had negative experiences that have led them to feel insecure about these aspects of life; thus leading them to distance themselves from openly expressing themselves creatively. they may take great care to keep their works of art private, tone down certain parts of their personality, and may even feel ashamed to explain themselves when others ask them about certain aspects of their creative and self-expression because of negative feedback they could have gotten in the past.

but with such pain comes empathy and understanding. once developed, these natives are the first to take notice and are the fastest to lend a sensitive ear as well as a supportive hand as soon as they see others going through the same struggle.

☱ sun-lilith in harsh aspects might have been told to cover up more by both peers and grown-ups, even when wearing "acceptable" clothing when they were kids. this placement can indicate an individual that was more sexualized from a young age, which can lead to them either being hypersexual or overly-reserved sexually in adulthood.

☲ lilith in the 7th house can indicate an individual that struggles to commit and open up about who they are to their partner/s. people with lilith in this house may have had bad experiences with marriage (perhaps witnessing bad divorces or tumultuous long-term relationships between their parents) and therefore might be turned off by the thought of marriage and/or long-term partnerships.

and though this doesn't mean that the native will be a lone soul forever, it does make one more likely to have these sort of relationships at a significantly older age in comparison to other signs.

[tw: mention of domestic violence in my personal experience, i have witnessed my parents go through an incredibly bad separation (tons of emotional abuse, infidelity, and a situation actually involving domestic violence) which has honestly made me quite hesitant to get married, even as i approach my mid-20s.]

☴ the cancer rising urge to cry when someone you care about is crying or in distress in general.

☴ a few asteroid notes:

note: asteroids are less impactful to one's personality, physicality, etc. compared to personal planets. they tend to only be relevant to one's chart if they are either in a tight orb (0-1°) or have major aspects to personal planets, preferably conjunctions or oppositions.

✢ messalina (545) known as the most promiscuous woman in rome, empress messalina is still recognized today as a symbol of uncontrolled, violent, irrational, and impulsive behavior. this asteroid reminds me very much of lilith in that it is representative of dark feminine energy and having this prominent in one's chart can be indicative of an individual that is not afraid to use their sexuality to their advantage or to create harm unto others in different aspects of their lives, but especially in terms of romantic and sexual relationships.

✢ anagolay (3757) is an potentially hazardous asteroid named after anagolay, the tagalog goddess of lost things and the daughter of the hermaphroditic goddess of seasons, lakapati. she is culturally-recognized for her ability to find not only physical objects but also abstract possessions like lost opportunities and faded memories. having this prominent in one's chart can suggest an individual that is very in-tune with cycle of nature and the subsequent passage of time. they may be more sensitive to bouts of nostalgia where they dwell on things that could have been and the way that things were. may also just indicate a person that is hypersensitive to losing physical things, though.

My (extremely amateur) Astrology Observations (all for fun!) (I'm not an astrologer in the slightest!!!)

This is just what I have observed, but I don't really know what I'm doing because I am just an amateur with a long time casual interest but no proper education in astrology, so don't take it seriously, but if any of it resonates/makes sense, then cool

Quintiles/biquintiles to nessus (7066) make a person creepy, but in a kinda likable/sexy way? (quintiles turn an aspect into a likable quirk)

Pallas placement/aspects shows what kind of a nerd you are. People always describe pallas in these really abstract terms like strategic thinking and finding patterns... I was always like wtf does that even mean..? until I realised that in real terms, Pallas = nerds (Some examples: pallas + thalia= comedy nerd, pallas + eros= sexy nerd, pallas + psyche = a nerdy soul)

Ceres placement/aspects shows in what way you are cute (Eg: ceres + mercury= cute voice, ceres + eros=cute and sexy, ceres + thalia=cute sense of humour)

Vesta placement/aspects shows what you are a fan of. Again, the way people describe it in these vague terms... like dedication, commitment etc... it never really made much sense or clicked for me..? until I realised that it's just what you are a fan of. (Eg: Vesta + Pallas = stereotypical nerdy fans who are into stereotypical nerdy stuff like sci-fi etc, Vesta+thalia=comedy fan)

There's a very interesting interview Katt Williams did recently that's activated the neurons in my brain. Something that's resonated is when he was discussing how he'd improve himself as a comedian.

He'd spend hours studying the sets of his contemporaries, taking notes, calculating jokes per minute, and measuring his quality by beating his rivals' statistics. It's very similar to how I'll digest topics through meticulous daily journaling.

If I want to learn more about a subject, I'll read as much as I can, and dedicate entire journals to annotations. With those annotations, I'll centralize the information into a silly little "textbook"...just so I can easily refer to information, if need be.

Exposure - a short poem

I've seen what lies undressed, humbled in the dark. The shadows and silhouettes that dance together. They're no match for the light that I shine down upon such forgotten corners, corners I love more than one could ever bare to burden.

I ache and long to embrace what disguises itself in places and people I've never met. Do they only get to embrace you when you're yearning for illumination? or can they catch a glimpse before you blanket yourself with the night sky?

Night sky, the perfect shooting star to get high. Smoking, perched above me I can see you now, brighter than before, beaming with delicate imperfections. Such flaws I crave to paint bright. Beacon of light, for I am unmoved in my coastline duties. lighthouse.

What you seek to cover in such murky depths could be spotted swimming just below the scorching rays of my beacon. The never-ending turning of light, light trusting to bounce off of something important enough to stand tall forever. But it wasn't always that way, before the night fell and the cellar lay heavy of bones, the emboldened flame of a single candle could be seen for miles. A candle that sent out a source of stars so bright that even I hadn't noticed how gloomy the night could get once that light depleted.

I turn my lantern on once more before I descend my beloved lighthouse, and only for a moment, I glimpse back into the darkness because you see, I grow best at dusk. New beams form only once they've been touched by corners. Dark corners. I've seen what lies undressed, humbled in the dark.

Putting aside the fact that I don’t know anyone’s rising signs (which is extremely annoying for me, personally), as a triple water, I’m obsessed with the amount of water in this cast's charts.

By age we have:

Apo - February 24, 1994 (28) - Pisces  (moon, Leo; venus, Pisces, mostly water/air this bb)

Build - June 4, 1994 (28) - Gemini  (mercury & venus in Cancer, mostly water)

JJ - June 28, 1994 (28) - Cancer (holy shit waterboy moon in Pisces, mercury in Cancer)

Perth - July 6, 1994 (28) - Cancer (ooh moon in Gemini)

Jeff Satur - March 6, 1995 (27) - Pisces (moon in taurus, adorable)

Us - September 10, 1996 (25) - Virgo (no water signs incredible)

For their sun signs that breaks down to:

6 Water (no Scorpio)

4 Earth (no Taurus)

4 Fire

2 Air

Straight up over half of them have a Sun/Moon in water (9 in total -- 3 Sun in Pisces, 3 Sun in Cancer; 2 Moon in Pisces, and 2 Moon in Scorpio (JJ overlaps sun-Cancer, Moon-Pisces))

But when you look at their prominent placements -- here, in lieu of their rising sign, I’m using a top 3 of Sun/Moon/Venus -- there are only FIVE (5) without a water sign in there.  Those 5 are: Mile, Ping, Us, Job, and Bas.  (love that Us/Job/Bas are also in a little grouping of their own in birth order too, not related, but cute). 

Aside from the overwhelming amount of water in their collective charts, individual observations include:

Apo & Mile being perfectly contrasting-- Apo predominantly Water/Air, Mile predominantly Earth/Fire.

Mile's top 5 being 2 Capricorn+3 Sagittarius I love that for him.

Barcode & Jeff have shockingly balanced charts element wise -- both have 2-3 of each sign, I’m fascinated by this. What is that balance like, boys?

Not me still trying to pull together a complete collection of Jeff crying gifs/pics bc that boy is a ~Pisces~

Bible is basically ALL AIR (Aquarius, specifically) aside from his Sun/Moon, his Mars in Aquarius seems especially obvious now that I know, and that + his Sun in Capricorn really pulls his entire ~aura~ together.  Many interests & the will to actually do them.

Build’s chart is SO WATERY and Tong is SO EARTHY, their entire dynamic makes so much sense very balanced/complimentary, + them being the only 2 air signs

Did any of this have a point?  Absolutely not.  Except fascination.

personal astrology observations

— sun in hard aspect to neptune can indicate having an (extremely) clouded view of oneself to the point of there being a huge gap in the way they think they're presenting themselves to the world to how they're actually perceived and viewed by other people.

[i have this aspect in square and i've noticed that people perceive me as more than i truly am (more financially-abundant, skilled, smarter than i actually am, etc.) and just make incorrect assumptions about my personality and who i am, in general. i feel that this might be due to the clouded nature of neptune versus the outward nature of the sun which has led to a social manifestation of the unclearness of my inner self and the way i display myself to the world, if that makes sense.]

═ another thing, i don't think people talk enough about how strongly neptune manifests itself in this placement, even among individuals with very little neptunian energy in their charts. daydreaming and just being not fully there plays a large part in who i am, and not even in a cute dumb blonde kinda way, more in an absentminded, head-in-the-clouds kinda way.

☰ sun in the tenth house 🤝🏽 being/wanting to be on a reality tv show!

[i swear as someone w this placement, i often find myself genuinely feeling like yes, if given the chance to do love island/too hot to handle/twenty-somethings/the bachelor— i 100% would.]

☱ mercury in hard aspect to neptune can indicate having a beautiful way w words but also not being able to explain things clearly?? can also manifest itself in just literally being difficult to understand at times, either due to the volume of their voice, way of speaking, or choice of words.

☲ moon opposition mars can exhibit deep emotional turmoil and not being able to handle one's emotions in a calm manner. i find that this manifests itself in the occasional emotional outburst (whether it's more crying or anger or both probably depends on both the moon and mars sign) but yeah— turmoil.

[i have personally experienced multiple events throughout my life where i've gone through public (embarassing, ik) emotional outbursts during stressful situations. luckily, my moon is in cancer so i'm more just a ball of tears, but this has been something that i'm still struggling to control, even as a twenty-one yr old]

☴ having a heavily-aspected chiron (multiple major aspects to personal planets, asc, and mc) and feeling rejected by your family and peers. chiron is the asteroid of wounds, hence a heavy presence in one's chart can indicate multiple emotional wounds involving one's parents, the same/opposite gender, along with inner and outer turmoil.

[tw: mention of suicidal thoughts i have chiron aspecting my sun, moon, venus, mars, and mc (most of them being hard aspects), and have felt suicidal for most of my life. i've never really fit in anywhere and have always been at odds with both the masculine and feminine energies in my life. if you have this placement as well, i genuinely hope you're doing well bc this energy is hard to cope w sometimes.]

Millennials be all about that 90s nostalgia and thinking it was good times, but as a millennial, to me the 90s felt kinda dreary and depressing and a bit creepy. Also to bring astrology into it, apparently on 1 Jan 1990, so the birthday of the 90s, the transiting opposition of saturn and chiron was conjunct my asc/dsc axis, which I guess has something to do with it. Not an astrologer, but I know harsh aspects to saturn cause depression, and chiron is all about pain, so that combo can't be good

Astrology Observations - 1

Thank you everyone for the love on my first post! Please do let me know if things resonate with you, sending love! I'm still an amateur, so take what I say with a grain of salt. +18 parts are in red, you can ignore if you like!

(+18) 1- Venus in Scorpio natives might feel that love is like a slow burn poison, loving too much hurts as much. They are very intense when it comes to intimate relationships and even though they might try and satiate their sexual thirst with one night stands, they will try and find someone they can regularly see and form even a slight connection. They are also lucky in the genitals part- although they're prone to STDs and might feel a scare at some point, they should be careful.

(+18) 2- Uranus in the 1st house/Aquarius ascendants might be from a young age tech savvy, their parents might even ask for help figuring out new appliances. If Venus and Uranus make aspects, they might experience a long distance relationship with someone from a different culture. They might also like sexting/cyber sex

3- Sun in 12th House and/or Saturn in the 1st house might indicate an absent father. The natives might have to discipline themselves or they might have the other parent step up for them. This may also indicate their personality blooming late

4- Mercury sextile Venus might indicate a way with words, interest in literature and being a great communicator. They can calm down a heating argument just with their words, making both parties laugh even

5- Lilith in the 2nd house might indicate being underweight and problematic relationship with food. They might skip meals without even noticing and don't have much attachment to tasty food at all

6- Mars in Scorpio natives might feel a big rush of energy when they feel threatened, as if they can take down tens of people. If Mars aspects the ascendant or planets in the first house, it can give the native a strong build no matter the size/weight. They might gain muscles without noticing and have a triangle shaped body. (Though this depends a lot on other placements too)

7- Gemini placements can be chaotic and unstable. They might have different personalities with different people, and can feel strong mood shifts. In personal planets, the native might want to constantly keep themselves busy with all kinds of media like series, anime, books, manga, music etc. and they can't quite get enough. After being done with something, they'll go through social media and forums on the subject and engage in conversations until they find their next craving

How to spot an amateur astrologer who's misleading you and doesn't know as much as they're letting on 🤏

Some people that read this are gonna think I'm being toxic or a bit excessive and that's fine, not that what other people think even matters anyways but...I just don't like when ppl are getting scammed and lied to and also because alot of people charge (way more than I do) for readings and it's alot of misinformation that gets around with these readings and money in additional to time is being wasted so I see this as me doing people a favor. I'm going to go over some things only a person who has absolutely no knowledge of astrology beyond social media will do

• they associate the outer planets, neptune, uranus and pluto with the signs aquarius, pisces and scorpio. This is like the most obvious sign and I talk about it so much not just on here and because the outer planets change signs every decade or so, they're generational planets, not personal ones so think long and hard about what "personal" even means and then get back to me. It isn't really fair to assign the signs I listed above to planets that aren't personal and then to assign the rest of the other signs to the inner planets that reveal so much more about our daily lives than the outer ones do, it just seems so elitist to me honestly and overall misleading. The signs themselves literally rule over certain aspects of our life and they get their meaning from their traditional rulers. Aquarius being an outcast ? That comes from saturn not uranus, pisces being spiritual gurus with lots of love to give, that's from jupiter not neptune, Scorpio being a sexual sign that confronts us with our trauma, weaknesses and mortality? That comes from mars 😫

• 90% of their posts begin with "astro observations." This one especially I think is gonna upset some people because it's all you'll run into across astrology Tik tok or like I said even on here and everyone eats it up because they get an ego boost off of these posts that don't offer anything real or helpful in your everyday life but I wanted to say that a lot of these posts are just so surface level from the observations down to the critiques especially since so many speak from a personal place and arent objective enough about it. You'll read things like "moon in the 2nd house can indicate you like savory food" which even if that were true there's so many other things to consider with that placement like what it's aspecting, what sign is it in, is it fallen etc, if they're not elaborating on why and where they read this, it's null and void and they're making up shit as they go like i'm actually ROTFL as I type this 🤣

• they associate the houses with certain signs. Among everything I listed before and after this, this is probably THE most misleading one because I've had so many people come to me thinking that they had an exalted venus because their venus was in the 12th house and I really don't mean to laugh when people tell me this but hearing this did give me one hell of a chuckle ☠️. This idea that the signs have some proximity to the houses (like i mentioned in a previous post) is what created the grounds for people to think pisces is this misguided damsel in distress junkie who has no sense of direction and is more likely to fall victim to a drug habit which is just not true. Having alot of planets In this house is an indicator of partial drug use or habitual however having planets in pisces in NOT, like it's not even similar a little bit 💀💀💀 people keep getting pisces meaning from neptune and the 12th house and it's a mistake westerner astrologers especially Americans continue to make and it plays a role in why astrology is so ridiculed. Just like having personal planets in the 1st house isn't like having planets in aries because the 1st house isn't even the joy of mars, its the joy of mercury which finds exaltation in Virgo. Sounds familiar to you guys?

• they give devised meanings to "empty houses." What I mean by this is when certain people teaching about astrology say things like "having an empty 2nd house means you will struggle with money" or "having an empty 3rd house means your academic performance will be poor." This is not something that they read up about, learned with a teacher or on their own, this is something they're making up as they go. I would never tell a client that "your empty 1st house means you don't exist and lack an identity" because that's just illogical. Empty houses do not mean anything at all lmao. When houses are empty you look at what planet is ruling that house and what house that planet is in to get an idea of how that empty house is being served in the horoscope. It is impossible to have planets in every house and there are going to be at least 2 empty houses in a horoscope

Ps: i'm not looking down on anyone for choosing to believe these things, I used to be like everyone else just learning everything about astrology online instead but if you're anything like me, at some point your curiosity is gonna get the best of you and make you ask these people where they are learning this stuff from, who is their teacher and where are THEY learning these things from, what books do they read, you know what I mean? I just want people to know the truth and who they're learning from. You can continue to believe the things that alot of self proclaimed astrologers teach their audience because i broke through a facade, that's fine but I'm not concerned with "letting people enjoy things" in order to maintain feeding their delusions, the truth is meant to hurt

i know you've talked about astrology but do you have any thoughts on astronomy? do you have any interest in it?

so a fun fact about me is i wanted to become an astrophysicist for a while before i discovered the physics gre subject test, the stem phd -> military industrial pipeline, and the existence of people who study the history and philosophy of science rather than perform the science itself lol. anyway i don't really have the mathematical proficiency atp but yeah i do have a passing amateur interest in astronomy. also i don't specialise in astronomy or astrology but i do deal with them in my work because they come up in a lot of climatic medical theories and overlap with each other pretty heavily

I'm absolutely tired of seeing self-proclaimed "astrologers" on Tiktok spreading false information about astrology and even gaining money over it. And sometimes they end up creating a bad fame surrounding astrology when they say something non sense and people just start to discredit even more astrology. And I say this as someone who's not an astrologer but knows astrology enough to see when someone is just saying anything to earn money on the internet without verifying the facts. Most of the times they don't know even the basic about astrology. And it's crazier when I see people like this from my country because they translate any shit with no foundation claiming to be professionals when it's so amateur it's funny 😭
