Aether = The most beautiful, amazing, sleek, and functional pretty hairpin that is also a knife! So he can have that badass moment of unsheathing it from his hair and having a surprise weapon and showing off his long hair, acted all shy when you gave it to him, he doesn’t get gifts often, all the birthday letters were for you afterall, i feel like you deffo have walked in on him miming taking it out all badass for practice lol

Lumine = bless her, you handed her this gift and she just looked up at you and u swear didnt blink or look away for a full minute. Then she nearly crushed you to death squeezing you, god she’s muscular, as you made a sort of self-care kit, including her favorite scents you added to like blank soaps/face masks, and towels you initialed with “Lumi”, she deserves a break afterall (and she thinks you deserve it too, and subtly tries to get you to join like *“*oh this is so sweet, something for us to do together”)

Dainsleif = sad little man deserves happy little things, you make him a weighted blanket, in these blankets it’s usually like sand or something that is put into little like quilt squares so it evenly distributes weight, but you used that water from the fountain that soothes Khaenri’ah people’s curse instead. He literally went speechless when you gave it to him. He has not had a single night of insomnia since. He would literally do anything for you, and literally stole you off to the side after a few nights of good sleep to tell you this lmao

Pyro Allogenes:

Diluc = Another bitch who just needs a break, you steal him off one evening and tell him you need a hilichurl camp wiped out, and there’s a cryo mage so you need him, bc thats the only way this workaholic is actually gonna drop everything and actually take care of himself, you have to deceive him, and then surprise him by showing him a hot spring you found. Teyvat has a lot more things to it now that it’s in real life, and that includes natural hot springs apparantly, and you’ve already prepped the place too, with his favorite non-alcoholic drinks, some indulgent foods like chocolate and fruits, and a soft robe. Man’s went wide eyed and nearly fell in LMAO, and then, looking away all pink, said he couldn’t accept this… unless you joined him.

Amber = a pair of comfy shoes, with baron bunny decorated all over them, like you sewed patches over them to personalize it, and the insoles are GODLY good, so she can run to Sumeru at this rate and her feet will feel like she went for a light jog! Some Mondstadt citizens, and knights tbh, are honestly a little afraid of Amber now bc her feet aching was sometimes the only thing stopping her from going 100% all the time lol

Bennett = a lucky charm, yes, yes, I know, basic, but it’s different coming from you! You’ve given him a bandana to wear as a neckerchief around his throat (it’s unprotected and he’s that unlucky?!) and it fits great, you’ve made it from Liyue materials, and imbued it with geo energy, so it actually makes a small shield/barrier around his head lmao, he’s practically thanking you every week and telling you how it helped him that week 💀

Klee = a treasure hunt map you made! every little stop/treasure gives her some candy or a snack, plus the next instructions, and she insists you go with her, and drags you along lol, and you planted them within range of the Mondstadt so she’s not too far off, and the final treasure (bc u planned it so she was supposed to start at a certain time/get to the end in a few hours) she finds at late sunset, and it’s a type of challenge that u were able to make, (bc apparently being the “highest god” means u get dev access, like the teapot functions but more OP). It makes a rainbow of glowing fish appear as targets to better Klee’s bomb throwing skills, and to entertain her, she gives the most dramatic gasp ever, and is just vibrating telling you “The fishes! They’re so pretty! ‘Bedo said that you give the greatest gifts, and he was so, so, so SO right!! Thank you very much!!!” :D in her cute little voice and then proceeds to speedrun you a hug and then starts throwing bombs lmao

Xiangling = HOO BOY- she has nearly every cooking utensil known to man, thanks to her being a young famous chef, and bc her family’s restaurant makes good money bc of it, so it was hard to think of something for her, but you eventually made her a handwritten and sewn together recipe book (look up “how to make zine”, its very easy actually, theres one with sewing the paper and a smaller one with just folding). It’s full of all of your favorites from Earth and what you think could substitute here, and how it should taste. Xiangling literally took your hands and spun you bc she hates luxury stuff, and really loves and appreciates homemade gifts, it’s the first anyone’s heard of your homeworld’s food so it makes her feel special <3 (she will be constantly harassing you with a spoonful of food to try and see if it’s close)

Hu Tao = You remembered one of Shakespeare’s plays and wrote a rough screenplay for Yunjin to adapt, then took Hu Tao with you to see it! She loves poetry and singing, so she loves to see Yunjin play usually, but she hadn’t had the time lately bc of funeral spirit work, (u also brought Zhongli so she could have fun embarrassing him lol), and she literally made a whole bit/joke about getting down on one knee to marry you, which was promptly interrupted by said embarrassed adepti, people even clapped lmao

Xinyan = You made her an aweinspiring outfit to wear onstage, modeled after classic rockstars from your world, she nearly teared up at the sight of it, and then nearly took ur ear out bc she was getting so loud and excited, u try to convince her otherwise, but Xinyan refuses to wear it outside of big occasions like Lantern Rite or performances with Yunjin (looks like this, I tried very hard ok, check it: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/76631631152377154/)

Yanfei = Once again, a written book, or at least 20 rap songs for her to look through. This sounds weird, but she eventually hopes to see a future where people are just better at obeying laws and considers then she’d be out of a job. So, after seeing some of Xinyan’s performances, she decided her back up career would be a rapper. She will literally stop you every time she sees you and lowkey force you to hear her latest rap she’s made, partially inspired from the Earth ones you gave her a lot of the time! She literally talked your ear off for hours, and didnt realize that she linked arms with you at one point and made you both walk at least 3 miles around the port lol, very embarrassed but grateful for the gift, another person who really adores homemade stuff

Thoma = you sewed him a cute plushie of Taromaru, along with a little plushie tea cup set. He literally covered his mouth in shock, and turned away, were those tears?? Very carefully took his gift and nearly bent in half bowing and thanking you for the gift, and was cutely touchy all day, linking arms, guiding you by gently nudging your back in crowds, etc. You once woke him up out a day nap on accident trying to find him, and he walked out half-asleep clutching the plushie Taromaru and nearly jumped a foot in the air at the sight of you lol, all like “HIGH EMPEROR?! OH MY- Oh my gods- Uh- sorry, so sorry about that!” and then proceeds to immediately hide Taro behind his back all red in the face lmao, refuses to acknowledge it, will get even redder if you keep pressing him about it lol

Yoimiya = so Yoimiya canonically really loves to go out into nature and explore, and go for that sunset hike type of person! so you, once again assume all these thru tutorial or teyvat craftsmen help, made her a hammock! She’s apparently really bad about falling asleep outside, and since hammocks can be really lightweight and good for temperate weather (ive tried it, sleepin in a hammock for camping its kinda nice, as long as you dont fall out/toss and turn a lot in ur sleep), and you even added some extra ropes on the sides so she can tie it down and not upend herself while she’s sleeping (keeps the hammock from tilting). She literally squealed and dragged u all over Inazuma trying it out with you, and because she chats with her neighbors/community a lot, EVERYONE KNOWS YOU GOT HER A HAMMOCK, YOU PAINTED IT AND EVERYTHING, DID YOU KNOW YOIMIYA IS ONE OF THE ALLOGENES THAT GOT BLESS WITH A PERSONAL GIFT FROM THE ALL-GOD??!! - everyone in Inazuma near her house, including yoimiya

Dehya = so Dehya likes to upkeep personal hygiene as much as she can between her mercenary job roughness and the general battery of the desert. She also is known to stop by the market place to pick up makeup and other personal hygiene products! So you figured if she’s collected so many of those over time, she might just have a practical bag to carry them in, and you offer her a multi-pocket cloth bag (like for taking makeup when you travel bags) and also attach a mirror inside! She literally covered her face with her hands and Dunyazard lightly teased her for weeekkssss lmao, and the other guys in her mercenary group like “wowww, someone managed to tame the Flame Mane?” which just makes her more shy bc the God of ALL decided to HANDMAKE her a gift, and not just a frilly thing, an ACTUAL USEFUL PRETTY GIFT- she accidentally set her claymore alight when you finished explaining what it was and handed to her (it’s fireproof too)

Electro Allogenes:

Lisa = a decorated tea set! Specifically, you painted it her favorite color, with some of her favorite book quotes across the saucers and her favorite flowers across the teapot. She gave you the prettiest smile, and just “Oh cutie! For little old me? You’re a bit above a librarian like me, but I’ll still accept this with all the grace of a lady courted, haha!” insists on “trying them out” with you all the time, especially when you get too busy from the other allogenes <3

Fischl (they/them Fischl supremacy) = You made a book cover (like how some books will have the paper sleeve and the actual hardcover is just colored? like that) of Prinzessin der Verteilung, but looking a lot more like them rather then the old protagonist! They collectively lost their mind over it for literal weeks, and did the same for you for your most relatable protagonist! :D They insist you two start a fantasy book club now- NO they don’t care if you’re the All Fürst! That makes you all the more qualified for joining the elite literature society they’re starting!

Razor = a bunch of hair ties! You’ve made scrunchies, bows, clips, etc. for him to try and decorate his hair with, all of things he likes, like little wolf puppies, or Andrius’ but cuteified, little symbols of all his friends like little bomb design hairclips for Klee, a red four leaf clover for Benny, a purple rose for Lisa, a golden star for the traveler, and an eight pointed star, like the four-pointed one but with some flare in between its points. A prominent symbol apparently associated with you u found out :0, Razor is giving Barbara and Klee a run for their money bc of how cute he looks walking into town for Lisa’s lessons with all this cute little clips and hair ties and braids in his hair now <3

Keqing = you know. you know EXACTLY what to give her. Plushies of cute animals or creatures in or around Liyue, like the little snow foxes from Dragonspire, a tiny oceanid, the small geovishaps, etc. Keqing doesn’t care if you’re a god, remember! So you better swear to never tell a soul you made her these!! …she sleeps with them too.

Raiden Shogun (puppet) = what to give a cold hard b*tch? …a break. you talk to Ei and make her give the puppet some off days, and you also may or may not have bullied Ei for being a hermit, so she can explore and learn more about herself, instead of being forced into the image, literally, of her god. She tries to write you months in advance for making plans on her days off so you can join her!

Ei (god) = an open window bc she’s a hermit, i mean of course you bring her out on “updates” (she weirdly choked a little over tea when you presented this idea to her, “Ahem- cough- a date? Oh, as in getting more familiar with the world, yes of course,” you basically pull out a map and take her to other countries so she can see how the other gods are doing these days and finally do something new, she is overwhelmed but in a good way? And she's especially willing to do it if you keep calling them that, these “up-dates”

Yae Miko = you were honestly kind of intimidated by giving Yae Miko a handmade gift, it just seemed like she would like something of high quality, which your gifts weren’t always guaranteed to be. So instead, you didn’t. You made a cool little picnic, and in remembering her love of stories from her lore as a kid, you brought some of your world’s stories to show her, the classics, then any favorites of yours, and some you thought she might like, and read them all to her about once a week. You both talk about and discuss the book and let Yae nitpick it and try to give her more context for books like Shakespeare in hope to answer all her detailed questions about the stories. Yae was so fucking smug (and secretly so in love) that she wrote a story for Yae Publishing House about it… “Joining a Book Club with the Akitsu Mikami, a Romance Novel” 💀

Sara = damn another busy woman, you steal her away with the promise of “needing a body guard” and she immediately answers and drops everything (u made sure to choose a slow day, dw ur not a rude god) andddd you’ve got her! Sara literally just stood there in shock when you showed up at your meeting place with homecooked food, specifically new recipes from your world, and some recipes from Xiangling! She would not stop stuttering out thanks yous the entire time, and fumbled with her chopsticks constantly, and she ate a lot, and even shyly asked if she could take some of it with her for later, now anytime you mention food around her she unintentionally starts looking at you with puppy dog eyes, (baby crow eyes??) even if the rest of her posture is perfect/gives nothing away lol

Beidou = A hand woven wine cask holder! a bit more solid so you can paint some designs on it, and you painted the whole crew, with Kazuha in the crow’s nest and Beidou is the biggest figure on it (stylized, u arent trying to paint a renaissance artwork here) and you even put her name on it “Captain Beidou” :) You were rewarded with a tall muscular woman squeezing you with her muscular arms, Beidou only puts her best wine/sake bottle in it, and only uses it for special occasions! she may or may not have had to make sure and hide it in her Captain’s quarters so other pirates won’t steal it, since everybody on the seas heard about the All Mighty giving her a personalized gift, but dont worry! She’s a pirate captain, she’s used to defending her most prized treasures from others <3

Shinobu = a spa day for another overworking woman, you made her another mask and hair tie! They still match her of course, but they also subtly have that eight point star symbol you’ve had associated with yourself before (like the four point but with a little flare), and she literally went so red, she hid behind Itto for a second. who helped morally support her enough to try it on, and it’s definitely her most comfortable mask!

Cyno = you were a little… embarrassed to make this one, but Cyno mentioned wanting it so… You made a TCG card of yourself. With the world in your hands as you hover in the middle of a solar system, you paint yourself giving a small smile down at Teyvat’s world cupped in your hands. One of the symbols they associate with you, the eight pointed star, not equal points, but rather a four pointed star with embellishments, said symbol glows and dangles from a necklace you wear, above it all. You swear he stared at it for a solid minute without blinking, and when you initially offered it, Cyno held it like it was spun glass. He gently laid it on a table nearby, his eyes never leaving it as he got out his deck, and put the card of you, on the very top. The mahamatra then gently set it down, and then gently hugged you and picked you up off your feet a bit (when you said maybe you were too heavy for this, he just raised an eyebrow, and that’s when you remembered that trailer of him throwing a body-builder man, one-armed, over his shoulder. He easily lifted you and set you back down. 💀)

Dori = A herb garden. Strange, but Dori’s sister has a lot of medical issues, and the herbs can be hard to come by, even for Dori, you didn’t tell her that you read some parts of her life, but when she saw the planter box, she knew. You had ventured far and wide, all over Teyvat, and the stuff you had came with you! so you put one of every herb you had or went out and got some because you’ve been exploring Teyvat anyway. And for once… you made sure no one was around, Dori teared up. She carefully set the box full of lively plants aside, and you were in the middle of explaining how to take care of them when she just, wrapped her smaller frame around your lower legs. You squatted down to hug her back :’)

Anemo Allogenes:

Venti = another book you made (look up “how to make a zine” on youtube it’s actually kinda easy) that you filled with all the lyrics to all your favorite songs, and some classics! The bard was ecstatic because he technically had vague knowledge or recognition of most of Teyvat’s songs, but songs from another world didn’t count, hehe! …he may or may not have lightly guilt-tripped you into trying to sing or hum some of the tunes or melodies of the songs, “I need to hear the melody so I may play it for you for eternity, your highness!” That’s his gift back, is that now you can get a Venti medieval sounding cover version of any song you like lmao

Sucrose = you’ve made another book (bought in Teyvat or made, check out “how to make a zine” on youtube it’s easy so I think you could feasibly handmake it!) and filled it with as much information as you can on how things like electricity works, luckily you can still retrieve information from Earth thanks to Albedo managing to somehow get you a signal?? You don’t wanna know, but point is, she’s literally spiraling. It’s been days, Albedo had to be the one to drag her out of the lab and eat, while you are starting to doubt if your gift did more harm then help… as soon as you voice these thoughts to Sucrose she nearly shook your head off from shaking your shoulders so hard while she ranted about phones, telephone poles, paved roads and she actually offered books back in exchange, for leveling allogenes up, as long as you told her more about “Those ships that go underwater again?? Please, Your Highness???” cute puppy dog eyes but worse bc she’s got cute glasses on too, oh no-

Jean = another workaholic woman who just needs a break, god why are there so many of them?? Your first thought was a spa day, but you like to think you can do better than that. In fact, she’s had a pretty heavy load since she was a kid trying to uphold the Gunnhildr clan’s name/knighthood, so you decide that instead of spa day, you should have a fun day! So you decide to take her out some days for some fun around Mondstadt (and recruit Venti to help do things like boost the winds for extra fun), like shield surfing! (look up Breath of the Wild shield surfing video if you dont know what i mean), it's something a lot of young knights do, and it’s perfect for Mondstadt’s hilly landscape! Other things like flying kites, or even rerouting all her work for part of the Windblume festival so she could enjoy it more! THEN you kidnap her all over again, and Barbara, to go to Fontaine! What better way for her to have genuine fun than getting a break to see and have fun with her younger sister and go see a colorful circus/fair? Jean was literally just a constant stream of “thank you your majesty! my gracious god, thank you- this is too much-, All-Fürst I am forever indebted to you for this!” and ur just like :/ Jean that’s the whole point of a gift is that you aren’t indebted to somebody-

Xiao = a friendship bracelet :) since he likes jewelry, and he likes you, it's perfect! and u made it match his necklace. you’ve also put that same water from the fountain that soothes the Khaenri’ah’s curse, and put it in there, and it actually lessens his karma, so for the first time in about 2 centuries, Xiao the Yaksha, can actually sleep through the night. You weren’t looking, but when you turned away to show him your sketches or plans for how to craft it, he sort of, reached out. You felt his hand warm on your wrist before it retreated, you could already feel the callouses, as the small weight of a bracelet was wrapped around your hand, his return gift, so u guys could match 👉👈 Xiao breathes out what sounds like all those years of pain in one shaky, relieved, “…thank you” (he did all that while you were turned around in your bag too, he was too shy to look at you when he put it on lmao)

Kazuha = “So this is what you’ve been up to lately, hm?” Kazuha’s been kind and laidback enough that he’s one of the allogenes who quickly dropped the formal titles luckily. He’s been seeing you sneak around and present your gifts to the others… and he came prepared in case you came to give him something too! Before you can even get out, “Hey, Kazuha, do you have a minute? I’ve got something for y-” boom. He’s beat you to it, he’s saying the same damn thing, and pulling out his gift for you. It’s a lovely Inazuman outfit, decked out in your favorite color, it’s like if you were an Inazuman character yourself- You just accept it half in shock, while Kazuha gives this small smile, but u can see the smug little look in his eyes, that little shit he really prepared a countermove- HE EVEN WROTE YOU REALLY SWEET POETRY AND EMBROIDERED IT INTO SOME OF THE INSIDE HEM LINES LIKE THE COLLAR -//////- ← you rn as Kazu’s all fucking smug, you end up just being like “take ur crummy gift u little shit” and nearly throw it at him lol, sweet asshole that he is, catches it anyway, and you’ve made him new hair ties, some minimal clips that look like maple leaves (like felt fabric stuck onto the clip bit) and the new hairtie is more like a scrunchie with a pretty red knot on top, your own symbol of an eight-pointed star, like an extra four-pointed star not the star of david lmao, sits in the center of the traditional japanese knot. He wears it nearly all the time, and mentions making you one to match (>:/ sweet considerate little shit he is)

Sayu = you’ve made her a quilt! stitched together from all sorts of cute fabrics, so it still matches her color scheme, she wraps up in it now before going into that balled up tanuki form lol, she insists you break it in with her and take a nap with her constantly lmao, and you give in even if you dont always sleep because of her tiny half-asleep smile (sayu knows the grip she has on you lol💔)

Heizou = a mystery novel a friendship necklace! you knew him and his friend had once had something similar, (they were more like matching river rocks or pebbles not jewelry you think) so you desperately hoped it wouldn’t be too offensive. The little shit who saw it coming #2, whereas Kazuha suspected you might offer him something, he didn’t have quite the same intution that Heizou did, so the detective knew you were going to give him something >:/ little snitch- he was so smug and teasing about it right up until he actually saw the necklace, it draped lower so it didnt look weird with his choker, and it was a pretty crystal you’d gotten from a riverbed (you didnt tell Heizou bc of the similarity w/his old friend, but he knew anyway) and he immediately looked the most serious you’ve ever seen him. His grin was less of a smirk and more of a smile when he processed what you gave him, and he wears it all the time :) Calls it his "God blessed good luck charm"

Scara/Wanderer = It was very hard, and you had to learn how from a blacksmith, but you finally got it! You made a small addon that latches onto the outside frame of his Vision, so instead of the sort of teardrop shape it has, you’ve made a heart shape. Since he sees the vision as his heart, you thought it’d be cute to actually see it that way! He was all like “I don’t wear jewelry, I already have some metal holding my Vision, are you trying to embarrass me?” You: “okay, well you don’t have to keep it, I’ll take it back-” Scara: “No? Shut up it’s mine now.” He went pink the first time he put it on, and he only wears it when it’s just you two, or you both and Nahida (bless her, she only lightly teased him, just enough to have him yell a little, not enough to discourage him)

Faruzan = a compass that points towards ruins/magical places, so she can explore all the ruins the desert has to give, and also, more importantly, guides her out, you deffo relied on a blacksmith for this one, and got Nahida to help you add the magic to it. She just got this, soft and bittersweet? look on her face, and redirected the nostalgic look towards you, bowed gently and thanked you, … you offered her a hug. Faruzan accepted, and you could feel the way she exhaled, relieved.

Who is stronger Lute or Vaggie?

Personally I'm gonna go ahead and say Lute is stronger than Vaggie. 'But they fought and Vaggie beat her-' yeah no one cares, lemme explain.

So basically I know that the angels are meant to be kinda bad fighters because yknow they don't arm themselves properly and stuff and they don't defend as well and you can strike them easily from there but uh...

while I don't doubt that this is the case with other angles its pretty damn clear that it isn't the case with Lute.

Lute attacks Vaggie aggressively and when she first attacks her she goes straight for her eye like she said she would. Not to mention but Vaggie does try and defend against her. Of course this is all kinda unfair towards Vaggie since well she is defending and apparently angels aren't good at defending but you also have to keep in mind that Carmilla trained her so... yeah- sorry.

not to mention the fact that she isn't totally helpless as we see Lute lunge at her trying to attack and Vaggie grab her arm most likely trying to throw her to the ground. But as we see in this next very weirdly timed screenshot I took Lute easily counters this attack. She doesn't hesitate to fly up and slam Vaggie into the ground.

That is impressive. Especially since it's hard to react that fast with a move that effective. Most people even when fighting for a while wouldn't think of that because when you're in hand to hand combat with someone every decision you make is in the moment. Especially in such a fast paced battle like this one.

Another thing would be her notice of the piece of glass that Vaggie held. She had basically a few frames (from what ive seen) to see that and grab it trying to stab Vaggie. That being said though she puts all of her weight and force on it causing Vaggie to easily overpower her and use her own force against you. Remember when fighting you don't put all of your weight/force into one move, it can be easily used against you and yeah, its gonna suck.

We see that here when Lute is in a very bad position, but not for long as it seems that Vaggie might've also made the same mistake and used it. Not to mention that she appears to be standing here and having bad frame as she is bent over. When fighting in a position like this you typically wanna stay tall with your chest since it'll be hard to do what Lute does next which is throw you over.

And we see that Lute does in fact do this with what seems to be little to no struggle. Not to mention that Vaggie didn't have the upper hand for very long. She had it for like a frame in the animation so yeah.

Vaggie does react quickly in this scene though so thats nice :)

Not to mention she's just been thrown to the ground and had to get up and regain posture so thats cool :D

We then see Lute quickly back away though which is also a good move and is kinda a defense I wanna say. She distances herself with her weapon knowing that more distance equals more power but uh yeah she kinda rams it into the wall...

She then leaves her sword (good idea since its proven that she and Vaggie are both quick to react) and goes to instantly tackle Vaggie to the ground instead. I want to point out that this is something that could've been easily avoided on Vaggies part I think. Just take a few steps back or keep some sort of guard up or stance and she easily wouldn't have gotten tackled as easily. But she lets down her guard and well she gets bodyslammed.

Once again Lute uh... uses the environment and slams Vaggies head into a desk... fun. Also Vaggie bleeds gold blood, kinda makes you wonder if she never cut herself on accident before.

Lute lets her guard down though as she goes to search for something to stab Vaggie with and within this time Vaggie finds something to hit her with which is impressive as her eyesight is probably horrible after being slammed into the desk.

In the end we don't see how Vaggie gets to this point but seeing as how they were going before it probably was a long while with a ton of injuries on each side but with Lute most likely having the better position/upper hand in each of the battles as she mostly had it in this fight.

Then in the end Lute stabs Vaggie's hand, she removes the spear and grabs it throwing Lute across and into the rubble (she's pretty damn strong I gotta say).

I'm not gonna count the rubble as fast reaction because Lute was doing a monologue and yknow its not really that impressive in terms of reaction. But it is a good use of surroundings.

But overall in this fight despite Vaggie winning I would still say that Lute is stronger/the better fighter. She let her guard down in a battle she thought that she was already winning but lets be honest, if she didn't she would've killed Vaggie without a doubt it was only when she mentioned Charlie that she actually yknow got Lute.

If she didn't then Vaggie would've been as good as dead.

Overall these two are very good fighters and their fight scene was probably one of my favorites if not my favorite. But in the end I feel like if they were in a sparing match that Lute would win. Honestly she would've/should've won but yknow. Yeah she mentioned Charlie and the power and love and shit :)

AITA, (or, was I) for only taking one cat with me?

will explain the title as i go. also, this is about something that happened like a year ago but it still weights on my mind. backstory-ish first, so sorry for the length of the text.

I (20+) moved out a little more than a year ago to my first own apartment. My siblings moved out before i did, so now my moms living with only her boyfriend and the remaining cats. We had four cats before i moved out, all of which are allowed to go outside (i know, outdoor cats, they have been all my life and i didnt realize the danger they were in & being for the local environment when i was a kid). My new apartment is on the second floor. When i moved out, i decided to take one cat with me, because he really kind of imprinted on me since he was a baby and would constantly follow me around. And while i didnt like the thought of forcing an in&outdoor cat to suddenly only be indoors in a smaller space than our house was, i figured it would be fine if its him.

one of our other cats, which we got a few years after we got the cat i took with me, also really liked to spend time in my room and with cat 1. We got cat 2 from the animal shelter after his previous owner, an old lady, got dementia and had to give him away.

my mom and her boyfriend suggested i take both cats with me and not just one. i didnt want to for a few reasons:

(1. i wasnt sure how much cat 2 would like suddenly being an indoor cat in a smaller space bc he spent like 50% of his time outside and the other 50 in my room, 2. i wasnt sure if the apartment would be big enough for two cats 3. i wasnt sure how hed adjust to yet another new living place, because he took some time adjusting when we got him from the shelter and would meow/yell a lot when no one was with him until he got used to his new home. when i moved out i was about to start a new job training-ish thing which required me to not be home for some hours 5 days a week so the cats would be on their own a lot. and reason 4., which is were i felt kinda selfish: cat 1 is a shorthair cat and cat 2 a maine coon so all my clothes and stuff would be full of hair all the time, even when we tried to prevent it. i didnt really care as a child growing up bc we had a lot of long hair cats but i was kinda thinking that a new space with less cat hairs on everything would also be kinda nice)

i only told my mom and her bf reason 1, 2 & 3 bc i felt like a dick for reason 4. i love all of our cats a lot and leaving any of them at my moms place was really difficult because i was just so used of them always being there all my life. my mom told me after i moved out that cat 2 was still around my old room a lot and started spending even more time outside bc me and cat 1 weren't there anymore. and while hed start purring and cuddling when they pet him outside, he wouldnt spend time with them on their laps or on the couch a lot bc hed just get up and go somewhere else a lot of times.

thats kind of the backstory for this.

now for the (additional) reason i feel like i could be the asshole: my mom and her bf started going on trips a lot like 2-3 years ago, and he only moved in once i had moved out. so whenever they were on trips or she was visiting him, id take care of the cats and cuddle and play with them. once i moved out, they redid parts of the house (kitchen & bath) and got a lot of furniture from her bfs home. her bf likes the cats too, but he doesnt want them to be inside the house that much when they arent there bc he thinks they shed hair everywhere and could damage his furniture or something? so when they went on their next few trips, the 3 remaining cats would mostly be outside with access to a kind of sunroom? attached to the house. and either my grandparents or a friend of my mom would come and feed the cats every day.

me and my siblings didnt really like them suddenly having to be outside so much when it was normal for them to be inside the house even when we weren't home for all of our lives before that and told our mom too (by now she has seen our point and convinced her bf to let them be inside more so its getting better over time. but i wish we would have gotten our point across sooner.)

during one of their trips near christmas last year, when one of her friends was taking care of the cats, cat 2, the maine coon, disappeared. we dont know if he ran away or someone took him because his fur is so pretty or if he got into an accident. my whole family was really sad about him being gone and kept hoping hed come back and asked around irl and online if anyone had seen him. to this day, he hasnt been found. and i know that thats a (unnecessary) risk you take with outdoor cats. and that it was my moms and her bfs decision to keep the cats mostly outside and go on 1-3 week-long trips. but i still blame myself for not just taking him with me to my new apartment. looking back on it, all the reasons i had dont seem to have any weight at all and if i had taken him with me, hed still be around and id know hes healthy and doing good. and he wouldnt have been separated from me and his cat buddy.

so, was i the asshole for not just taking him with me to my new place when i moved out?

maybe its a bit too late to say this now but i really dont like how sensitive events are being relayed to the eggs like its nothing and by people who arent their caretakers or even that close to them, at a time when all of the kids are relearning their impressions of people since they havent seen any of the adults in a long time

like on the day the eggs woke up from the medical comas and qbagi told richarlyson about qcellbit’s murder spree before even telling him that his dad was missing :/ qpac was also there for this conversation (more like an offhand, not really even given the importance, comment) and all they said about it was that qcellbit had gone crazy/insane/off the rails and that he was dangerous. richarlyson hadn’t seen any of his parents in months. just…. why was that one of the first things he was told about, while qcellbit wasn’t even THERE? qbagi even goes on later to show him pictures of the corpses and it was the first day they met….. like what’s the purpose of giving that kind of information to a child i wonder

and then again last night with qbbh telling pepito his side of the story of the time qcellbit killed qrivers in purgatory, making pepito really concerned in the process. pepito knows qrivers is pepito’s mom, and pepito has never met qcellbit. obviously learning about this instance would have NO other impact other than making pepito wary of qcellbit and thats part of pepito’s initial impressions of him now…. just why are we going around telling kids about this kind of stuff again? complex, very difficult situations that they cant possibly understand (and shouldn’t be expected to) when they’re told like fun little anecdotes lol

i just wish these situations had more weight in how they’re referred to and i wish other characters wouldn’t just Drop them on the kids like that . oh well

Author's Ramble: For right now I'm just doing wtv requests I feel like. I pretty much just stuck with the prompt and didn't continue too much cus I don't think it's my best work. If enough people want it or if I feel like it, I'll write pt2. Also if anyone knows if you can indent on tumblr pleaseee tell me...

Request/Prompt: Y/N saves Daryl's life... yup thats it. Also there's not an era this really happens in so, use your imagination.

Contains: Daryl x Reader, Just some walkers... sorry guys no, "nono" stuff today... and female pronouns

Word Count: 478 words

Y/N stumbles over the fallen dried leaves from the fall trees. Wandering around an empty but cramped forest, she notices a small cabin in the corner of her eye. If this wasn't the zombie apocalypse, this would've been a dream home. Y/N twists the dusty doorknob, revealing a dusty and unoccupied home.

Shutting the door behind her, Y/N keeps her wits and listens for the subtle noises of groaning or moans. After deeming the tiny cabin as safe as can be, she sets her bag in a broom closet in the kitchen. Y/N rummages through multiple sets of drawers and cabinets, looking for anything beneficial. The little supplies she had was starting to run low. Overall, a lighter, some assorted canned goods ,and a few bottles of water were revealed, along with a serrated hunting knife, which she tucks into her belt loop.

That's not all, a nice stale pack of saltines awaited on the counter. Y/N crunches on a few, that's when she hears it. The shuffling of rushed footsteps and the whines of walkers. From what she could hear, the footsteps sounded ragged and unstable, and a few walkers trailing behind.

Y/N wasn't going to stick around to figure out the exact details, she climbs in the closet door and leaves the door slightly ajar to see through. The ajar door allows her a decent view of the wooden kitchen.

The strides pick up in pace as a dark haired man stumbles into eye sight. Two walkers begin to counter him, and from what Y/N sees, he has a meager hunting knife to defend himself. His whole weight presses against the counter as he defends himself. He plunges his knife into the skull of one the walkers. The walker falls backward, leaving the man with no weapon to defend himself with.

The second walker presses against him as the man tries to keep the snapping jaws from sinking into the rough skin of his face. To Y/N, it's pretty obvious the man is in weaponless losing battle with the walker, soon to meet a common fate. The man had a big gash on his upper thigh, which bled through his thick denim jeans.

Y/N goes against all her survival instincts and pushes the creaky door opening, revealing herself to both the walker and intruder. Her hand rushes to her tool belt and procures the previously found kitchen knife. She thrusts the knife into the walker skull and pulls it off the spunky man. She clutches her knife in her hand as her eyes meet the man, unsure of his next move.

"Whoa there girl..." The gruff man grumbles, raising his hands and getting up from his slumped position.

"Who are you?" She mumbles, raising his knife threateningly at him once more.

"Daryl Dixon."

Do you have any appearance headcanons for HS characters? Such as who are muscular, who are chubby, who are tall, etc.

i have this height chart for the kids that i dont follow super strictly (+ its kinda exaggerated i dont think that jade is THAT tall lmao) but it shows my general headcanons . also the lighting isnt great but oh well. putting all the answers below the cut cause this got long as HELL

john: short, a bit above average build. light skinned but slightly tanned+freckled, more so during the summer. my headcanons for everyones eyes is that theyre like a believable shade close to their canon colors, but when they either enter the medium or godtier, i cant decide but i lean towards medium, they change to their canon bright colors. johns are naturally blue pre-sburb. also i headcanon that hypermobile ehler danlos runs in the prospit family (saying this bc i refuse to use some godawful portmanteau family name for them) because projection, and for him it starts presenting more obviously after getting to earth c. even before then he would do weird joint shit to mess with people lol. headcanon that people keep scars from various resurrections or might end up with them from other versions due to weird universe shit so he has a couple stab scars on his chest + lots more from sburb stuff. also i like the idea of him having some visual aftereffect from going out of canon whether some breath lookin scars on his arm or something like that.

rose: mixed east asian/european (vague bc they dont technically have actual ancestry, given a no sburb au im undecided for more specific asian background but since her surname has french origins thats my headcanon for that part); darker skin. natural dark hair but she bleaches it to dye it purple. fairly average height. naturally below average weight growing up, but fills out in her teens. gray eyes before sburb; her hair dye make them look faintly lilac, but they become actual purple eventually. somewhat fluffy hair but mostly only if she styles it to be. keeps scar from being killed by jack + absorbs the scars of doomed rose from davesprites timeline.

jade: tall and lanky, but much closer to daves height than in this drawing. very similar hair and skin tone to john, but much more tan, especially at the start of sburb since she lives in the tropics. by the end theyve both faded to close to the same color. hair looks black but with brown highlights in bright light. natural green eyes, but instead of just turning brighter they also glow like the green sun in the dark (or an animal with reflective eyes). hair gets a lot fluffier and thicker after dogtiering, + gets fangs. it was very long and a tangled mess from not brushing or cutting it enough growing up, so on the pre-retcon yellow yard she gets it cut and grows it back while on post-retcon she cuts it off herself during a breakdown moment. quite a few scars from jungle mishaps + taxidermy stitching scars after dogtiering. pretty wiry from taking care of herself growing up. her ehlers danlos presents with more fatigue as she gets older so the sleepygirl vibes return...she also had to self-treat a lot of dislocations from incidents on the island. her body is a bit fucked up after godtiering from the combo of vague dogginess making the connective tissue stuff worse.

dave: same as rose but im very much in the albino dave headcanon camp! lots of scars from strifing with bro, which show up pretty easy on him. big one on his chest from the strife where his shirt got cut, and sometimes ends up with doomed daves' scars. his eyes were naturally pinkish red but again became their super bright color eventually. heavily masks his expressions most of the time but gets better at displaying emotion while on the meteor. pretty tall and a good bit of muscle, but skinny throughout childhood from his living situation. thin hair without a ton of volume. also please make him so very very texan i beg you all.

jane: shortest of the alpha kids + chubby :] very fluffy hair, and pretty pale from not going outside as much as the other prospits. gets pretty emotive and frazzled at times + gets red in the face easily from both that and being paler. maybe a couple scars from failed assassination attempts that she usually covers with makeup to keep up the heiress public image? her and roxy both have scars from being killed pre-entry.

roxy: darker than rose + curlier hair; also mixed but less so without dirks genes in the mix obvs. second tallest of the alphas! she dyes her hair pink but not as often as rose so her roots are grown out a lot more. various scars from living in the water apocalypse + kitten accidents as it goes with those silly creatures, and more freckles than rose bc climate change lol. natural dark brown eyes instead of something "pink" lol . void style. prescratch she just bleached her hair but didnt dye it. i like to think maybe jade did end up getting a little silly :3 when she was a prisoner on derse so some scars from that too :(

jake: short!! i live for short jake. honestly might make him shorter than jane; theyre def closer in height than i drew them here. lotsss of scars he thinks they look cool. clothes usually a bit battered. haircut is not very neat whatsoever because he just does it himself to keep it out of the way which is better than jade letting hers go wild i guess. similar complexion to jade. scars on his chest from getting forked by jane which has angst potential. natural eye color is sorta hazel/green

dirk: tall! white surfer boy lookin. natural dirty blonde hair but the combo of sunbleaching + various improvised methods to lighten it to resemble his totally awesome bro makes it closer to blonde (prescratch he bleaches it so hard and its so shitty but irony am i right). extremely freckled + lots of scars but he got most of them in very stupid ways like slipping while climbing the supports for the apartment. he does ofc have the iconic neck scar. naturally had light brown eyes.

ok and trolls! this is the only pic where ive drawn all of them so itll work as my visual lol.

first tho these are my headcanons for how different castes ears look! mind that the pic of all the trolls is a bit older than this (which is also something i made a while ago in case i never needed to describe my headcanons. so some things changed from one to the next but in general the same ideas are there; also some things in this diagram i dont like as much as what i drew above so take it with a grain of salt.

also my headcanon is that on average for this age range, trolls are in the same range of heights as humans, but the higherblooded they are the taller they can get. however they keep growing a lot longer . like lobsters . which extra reason why highbloods get bigger cause they live longer

aradia: short, chubby but muscular, with super curly and long and wild hair. when alive, lots of dark red freckles and blush but when dead, very pale gray skin. for my ear shape headcanons, rustblood ears are just slightly more pointed than human ears, though you cant see hers in this pic. sometimes i draw her with horizontal pupils when i remember.

tavros: tall for a bronzeblood, but still short compared to humans. his robot legs make him taller than he was before lol. pretty obvious brown flush to his skin a lot of the time. lil bit chubby

sollux: short-average height, thin and lanky. terrible posture. i lean into the goldbloods with two pairs of ears headcanon. no freckles

karkat: he hasnt slept in a month and everyone can tell. worlds awfullest eyebags on a thirteen year old boy ever. i draw trolls with nails corresponding with their blood color but he paints his black. what do you mean he has red freckles those are the blood of his enemies. average height and constantly tense

nepeta: short. silly. will kill you. there is a nasty mix of blood under her nails at all times but look at her silly smile. she doesnt look buff but she is. super messy hair goes all over the place standing on end when she takes off her hat. cleft lip + slit pupils. lots of scars but she rocks them like a warrior cat.

kanaya: curly fluffy hair. in this pic i didnt draw it cause im a loser i guess but she has tons and tons of freckles. sometimes they look like stars (space player moment). i draw her ears with sorta leafy/almost frayed-looking edges as a rosemary nod since they kinda look like rose leaves! fairly tall for a jade.

terezi: lots of freckles on her face! very straight and pointy ears. short + chubby + not exactly visibly muscular but she WILL throw you. triangle body shape language (wide stance, very solid).

vriska: super wild unkept hair. fairly pale; burn scars across her face, side, and shoulder. the pic shows her damaged ear (she lost most of it in the explosion) but her other ear would be a bit longer than terezis but with a less dramatic point. somewhat tall and pretty solidly built.

equius: buff but NOT like a super muscular body builder he may be a troll but he is basically thirteen. hes like a buff middle schooler but not super over the top. just kinda a regular guy. i dont like how his hair looks in the comic so i draw it a bit different. strong blue (no pun intended) flush to his skin in some places, especially under eyes and near joints. fairly tall.

gamzee: ive never rlly draw him without makeup so i dont rlly have an idea of his normal appearance. tall but slouches, somehow both a bit chubby as well as awkwardly bony in places. thick + very curly hair. i draw purpleblood ears with a sorta multilobed/wavy edgy to sorta resemble approaching seadweller fins.

eridan: average height for a violetblood, but tall for a human. a few freckles. his glasses are just for show. hes like a middle schooler who you think looks so tough and edgy at the time but then you look back and realize they were just a loser kid.

feferi: short + chubby but very strong. long curly hair, lots and lots of freckles! very round + soft + bubbly shape language.

very first thought of the new season: i want a doll of clawdeens wereruler armor so bad. also im excited for more worldbuilding lore stuff, and more varied werecreature designs! part of me gets a little irked sometimes that there seems to be disproportionate attention payed to werecreatures and the inner workings of their society over other monster species, but i cannot deny, i love a funny lil furry.

im really interested in this developing plotline about draculaura being pressured to be like the model of Good Witchcraft. it works well with her established character and arc of like trying to live up to her fathers reputation and status in the monster world. poor girl never seems to be able to just fucking relax.

skelita! i love that shes trying out witchcraft, and the art-based magic is a fun angle too! i can totally see where this is going tho. drac is super serious about magic because theres all this pressure on her while skelita is just trying it out in a casual way so theyre at odds. its an interesting dilemma because i can def see both sides.

im really happy the writing seems like empathetic to both positions here. skelita deserves to try magic her way on her own terms, but its also totally understandable draculaura would feel protective over witchcraft when any misuse of it is ultimately going to reflect on her since she was the one working to legitimize it. respectability is a double edged sword fr!

• star wars special interest- frequently makes references, talks about it a lot, 2x01, 3x09, etc

• also superman special interest or old hyperfixation perhaps: strong long term memory, able to recall exact details of past fights

• doctor who/orphan black, etc, scifi in general also - comfort and routine in fictional worlds

• Genius™- picks up on info that trained agents couldn't after spending an hour at the DEO 1x13, makes Superman's new suit 2x01/2 (?), wrote the code that made literally everything after 5x11 possible, etc

• overwhelmed at lots of voices and shouting 2x11 - noise complexity issues

• that technically wasn't winn but since the Martian took all his memories/thoughts/mannerisms im going to count it as him

• complains that today's music is too loud 1x16

• wears headphones at both places of employment, 1x05, 2x05- noise processing issues again

• can easily go hours without taking a break if he's In The Zone, 1x15, 3x20

How do i (for lack of better way to describe it) mentally "deprogram" or cut ties with myself being amab? I feel like its...damaging me and preventing me from doing stuff but i also feel like being amab is just part of who i am...

Like sure specifying agab while being nonbinary might be seen as just enforcing the gender binary but i feel like ignoring that part of my experience with gender is bad and i doubt afab me would be the same exact person, right?

And thats not even mentioning the lack of amab nonbinary...anything. like how can i deal with being nonbinary if i dont even know if experiences like mine are even REAL (which they are but hopefully you get my point)?

Have I let this term impact me more than it should and now im buckling under its weight? I dont know. I just know im sick of being in the shadow of being born a guy.

I guess another way to put is "how do i *truely* mentally embrace identifying as nonbinary and not as a amab who identifies as nonbinary"?

So this one was pretty hard for me since in my own personal gender journey i have no feelings towards my agab. I dont pass and dont super care that i dont pass so i dont have a shared experience with you.

Nonetheless, my advice to you is to validate yourself. If you find yourself thinking of yourself as amab, stop and remind yourself you are nonbinary. Also, realize that your agab will influence your life, it always has and always will just by nature of our society, which isnt a bad thing. I would suggest finding other amab nonbinary people and talk with them about their experiences with gender and being nonbinary.

For all of Savanaclaw, I’m going with my other hc’s about their legs looking more animalistic like a satyrs almost; with Leona’s lower half being a lion’s hind legs, Ruggies being a hyena’s hind legs, etc etc. Also the idea that beastmen are naturally hairier than humans because,,, theyre beastmen,,,

Leona:

-I think he would be fairly muscular, but he wouldn’t be considered to be buff either. It’s enough to look at him and see that he works out with enough definition to show his strength

-He definitely has more tattoos all over his body! I feel like he would be the kind of person to have it to the extent where you don’t see it when he’s wearing a t-shirt, but he takes it off and his entire chest/back is covered in tats

-Also likes piercings, but gets too lazy to take care of them properly so he wears them for a week or two and takes them out

-Maybe one on his ears, but I hc that beastman ears are very sensitive so it would be very painful for them

-Would like a nose piercing, but doesn’t want to go through the effort

-Does have an eyebrow piercing that he adores

-His face would be somewhat gaunt I think. Not enough to be concerning, but enough to highlight his already sharp features

-Leona would have lots of other scars from different fights, but I feel like the larger ones would be on his arms and one across his chest

-Theres also three very faint scars along his neck from when Cheka accidentally scratched him one time

-I think his left eye would be a little duller with the pupil kind of spilling out into the colored part, since I think his eye would have suffered some sort of damage from his large scar. It’s also a lazy eye

-I also hc that he has a little bump on the back of his neck because he slouches a lot, and doesn’t have the energy to correct his posture enough to get rid of it

-His bones crack a lot,,, like,,, old man standing from a chair thats too low kind of crack

-Will also do the thing where he asks you to walk on his back. Do it for him please he hasn’t been able to crack his back in so long and its so uncomfy for him

-Has dry skin bc of his unique magic like,,, all over,,, his hands, his feet, his knees, his elbows,,,,, he also found a patch of dry skin on his stomach somehow?????

-I think his hair, in contrast to canon, would be much curlier!! Like 4a-4b kind of hair. I don’t think the hair on his legs (again, not human legs, animal legs) would be similar, but they would be more like a lion’s fur where its very soft and sleek

-Same goes for his tail and ears

Ruggie:

-He’s very tall and scrawny but… in the malnourished kind of way. He’s very gaunt, and you could see the way his skin shifts over his bones when he moves. Since coming to Nrc he has gained some weight and he has built a little bit of muscle so it’s not as bad as it was before, but you could still see the effects of his background :(

-This is the reason why his hands look a lot larger than his arms

-Along with them being larger, they’re also heavily calloused and scarred

-I also think that he doesn’t bite his nails, but he bites at the skin around his nails so his nail beds are pretty scarred from that

-I think he would have the most scars out of all of the Savanaclaw trio because he would likely get hurt in the scraps he got into growing up, with most of them being along his arms and legs.

-He also didn’t get proper care for his injuries so they scarred over worse

-I think he would also have a bit taken out of one of his ears from a bad scrap that he got into as a kid

-He also has long, crack-like scars up his right arm and across his chest, which go up along his neck from Leona’s overblot.

-I think he would be a lot more tanned than he is in canon, since most of his work would be done outside

-He gets insanely funny tan lines which take forever to go away. Use that to your advantage

-Also freckles all over!! Everywhere!!! His chest, his back, his shoulders, his face!!! Every!!!Where!!!!

-Wants piercings so badly like, lays awake at night thinking about all the different places he could put them

-He wants lots of ear piercings the most, as well as a tongue piercing

-Would also not be opposed to a belly button piercing

-I feel like his hair would be very rough and, like leona, would be curlier than it is in canon! Like 3a type hair! It would be very brittle, though, due to the lack of nutrition

-Same with the hair on his legs and tail. It would be kind of patchy

-He also has a bump on the back of his neck due to slouching, but a big part of it is also just normal hyena anatomy

-His teeth are actually larger and sharper than Leona and Jack’s due to his ability to bite through bone

-Slightly crooked teeth also because they’re so cute :))

-Kind of on topic but also not: He literally has the brightest smile out of anyone in the cast like,,, his genuine smile rivals Kalim’s most days

-His eyes crinkle a lot when he smiles :)

Jack:

-Jack would have very much a triangle shaped body, with really broad shoulders that sort of,,, narrow down

-I also think that he still has a little bit of baby fat, so his muscles aren’t very clearly defined (or, not as defined as an adult who works out a lot would be)

-Yes I am a proud advocate for smushy face Jack

-His face is so squishy please just one chance

-His body is also a little squishy but not as much because he works out

-He also has stretch marks along his stomach and biceps because I think he had a huge growth spurt

-Hugging arms!!!! Big warm hugging arms!!! And a broad chest to match for better hugs!!!!!!!!!

-He also has dry skin but mostly during the winter (I live in a colder place and my skin has been dry nonstop since October send help pls). He carries around a lot of lotion because of this (and is more than willing to share with anyone who needs some)(No its not the scented kind sadly)

-He gets really bad eczema along the sides of his face and the backs of his hands, and it scars up sometimes

-Doesn’t have many scars besides that, probably only a few on his arms from scraps with his siblings

-He was likely pampered a bit as a kid, so his scars are only really on his elbows from when he would fall and climb trees

-His hands are very calloused, though! Aside from the normal padding on beastman palms, like Ruggie, his hands are rougher from working out

-Literally the thickest hair in the world

-Its also very soft (no he will not let you touch it)

-One piercing on the side of his nose, maybe a septum tbh. Hes not a fan of them

-Definitely wants a tattoo, cannot commit to a design. Would definitely get something for his family as a tribute, then maybe something cool. Would get inspiration from Leona’s tattoo, except make it a wolf

-Very round face

-Big fangs!! Not as big as Ruggies, but big enough to jut out a little bit when he closes his mouth and when he smiles

Octavinelle:

Azul:

-I think he still has baby fat, and he has a little bit of chub around his stomach/thighs!

-His face has slimmed down since he was a child, but it’s still very round naturally

-Also has cheeks that you would never guess are squishy, but they are

-He has a lot of stretch marks, specifically the insides/backs of his thighs, the backs of his calves, and around his arms and the sides of his belly

-Pear shaped body!!

-Not many scars though! This is because I think he wouldve been very protected by his mother at home (although the same may not have applied outside the house,,) and she was sure to keep him put of harms way (mommas boy <<33)

-In his human form, he has large, discolored circles on his legs (normally a few shades darker/pinker than his skin tone) as a shadow of the suckers on his tentacles

-Has little scars and red patches on his hands from when he bites his nails and gets hangnails

-He does have scars/birthmarks that resemble his gills along his ribs/neck

-He has lots of little moles around the rest of his body, and a lot of them tend to congregate on his chest/shoulders. Also lots of faint freckles on his shoulders!

-In his merform, I feel like a lot of the above headcannons would apply!

-No bones in merform, just like real octopi (except maybe,,, a skull??? maybe his ribs arent set like humans and are sort of more like cartilage???)

-His hair is very soft, and splits into thick sections in his merform (think of the movie Luca and how their hair looks)

-I was thinking about this a lot since I watched the new avatar movie,,, and I thought it would be neat if the entire octatrio had a wider ribcage like the water people!! (The character design in that movie was flawless,,, the signs of different evolution were really interesting!!)

-I also feel like his ears would resemble a cuddlefish’s in his merform!!

-Horizontal, rectangular pupils!!!

Jade & Floyd:

-Very similar body since know,,, twins,,, but I feel like Floyd’s muscle would be more built due to his activity, and Jade’s muscles are more slim

-Both have a reverse triangle shaped body; wider on the top and gets narrower once it gets to their legs

-Both have stretch marks on their thighs

-There’s also multiple bite marks/Scars along both of their bodies from when they would get into arguments as children and bite each other,,, (The marks Floyd left tend to be scattered all over and there are more of them, but Jades are a low fewer and a lot deeper so they scarred more on Floyd)

-The skin in between their fingers would be a lot longer and, while it would restrict movement, it resembles the webbing on their hand, which wouldn’t be as long as their webbing, but just enough to be able to tell their species

-Floyd has scars on his lips from when he bites them as a nervous habit

-Jade has scars along the tips of his thumbs from when he bites them

-For their ears, I feel like they would jut out a little bit so they resemble fins! They’re not very prominent, but they’re lightly ridged

-Same as Azul with the scars where their gills would be, and dark spots where their marks are on their face/legs/torso

-Very long in general; not long enough to be lanky, but just very,,, long

-Its canon that they have insanely long legs, and I think that makes a lot of sense! I also feel like they would have a long line on the insides of their legs from where their tails split into two

-Yes they do have the small inside-mouth thingy thats in a not of fanart, yes it’s in both forms

-Freckles!!! On them both!!! Mostly Floyd, though, since he spends more time in the sun

-Floyd is also slightly more tanned than Jade for the same reason

-No baby fat on their faces :(( they’re slim boys

-They both have dark circles that they can’t get rid of, and their eyes are a little sunken in

-Broad noses, like, you know how you see someones profile and it’s a very prominent nose bump towards the middle?? Exactly like that!!!

-Thin lips

-Theyre just very sharp in general and not very squishy

Scarabia:

Kalim:

-I might have mentioned it before, but I think Kalim would be a little pudgy! He does dance a lot, so he might have some built up muscle underneath. For the most part, though, I feel like he would be very soft (Soft arms, soft belly, etc etc). It suits his personality (and also acts as a contrast to Ruggie’s own build because I feel like the juxtaposition of the two are mentioned a lot in canon)

-Stretch marks along his stomach, arms, and thighs

-I feel like his tattoos/henna would be all over his body and not just on his arms. Like,,, over his chest, back, some one his legs and maybe a bit on his wrists! I think he would like to look as decorated as possible because he would see his body like a canvas to fill with fun things :))

-Honestly,,, I feel like he would want more ear piercings, but none anywhere else! He would think it would look cool, but he would get a little scared seeing it happen

-He has a few scars from when he was growing up, including scars on his wrists from kidnappings, and a few along his back

-He also gets bad acne which he tries to fight off, but it’s genetic so he has a difficult time finding products that hold it at bay (though, he’s rich, so affording skincare isn’t hard)

-Because of this, he has a few dark spots around his mouth, on his cheeks, and on his forehead

-Some scarring from that but, along with the tattoo idea, he sees it as a way of decorating his body!!!

-Hes vv body positive so the scars and such dont really get to him

-Very small, round hands that are always decorated with rings

-I also think that his nails are really well taken care of!!

-He has a very round face! Not as round as Azul’s, but it’s still enough for a little squish

-Plump lips!

Jamil:

-Very lean; not quite lanky because he does have some muscle but not built enough like Jack

-Beanpole shaped; Maybe as he gets older it turns into a reverse triangle shape

-His muscle is a little bit more defined in his torso and arms than anything, though

-So toned. Hes toned

-Very narrow face, with high cheekbones and eyebrows!!

-Also has a long face and a sharp jawline

-I think he would have a lot of piercings!! He would have a cartilage piercing or two, snake bites, and maybe even a tongue piercing?? I also feel like an eyebrow piercing would suit him!

-I think he maybe gave himself a small stick n’ poke when he was younger as an act of rebellion, but it’s mostly healed over/faded so you can only see a few lines and dots from where it was on his wrist

-Wants more tattoos, cannot decide what to get

-Lots of scars on his knees from when he would scrape them as a kid

-Sharp teeth; not because he’s not human, but because he thought it would look cool when he was younger and is stuck with the consequences of his actions

-Thin and long hands that have a lot of scars on them

-A lot of callouses and rough skin on his hands too; from cooking, writing, dancing, etc

-Same goes for his feet

-He has deep dark circles under his eyes that he also can’t get rid of

-Another one who has dry skin! It’s mostly on his cheeks, but he struggles the most to get it off the back of his hands, elbows, and knees

-Long legs!! It’s enough to make finding pants a little bit harder for him

-The kind of guy that has really long, thick eyelashes without trying (and it makes Najma so mad everytime she sees it)
