“was reading,” you whisper back. “the main character just found out that their mom is still alive.”
he hums softly and kisses your cheek again, walking over to sit next to you. he keeps his eyes on you.
“have i got something on my face?” you ask.
he shakes his head and you hum, not fully content with his answer. when you go back to your book, he takes off his dog tags and holds them in his hands for a second.
“hey love?” he asks.
you look up at him.
“come here.”
you move to sit closer to him, your book on the other side of the couch. he smiles at you, caressing your cheek as he kisses your forehead softly.
it’s then, when he does it.
he puts his dog tags over your head and watches as it settles on your chest. you gasps softly, surprised by the action. he twirls his tags around his fingers and pulls you closer to him.
“this?” he whispers, his voice dropping. “this means you’re mine pretty boy.”

100% relatable with the dead black gshep thing :o( I'm a werewolf endel/adjacent nonhuman (unable 2 commit to terminology because What Ifs!) and a lot of nonhuman werewolfposting is all based in trauma-adjacent violence and anger and like. i do get it but also it does make me sad and feel unwelcome bcus im not angry/violent/etc as a werewolf !! idk bit of a ramble lol srry but yeah totally relate 2 where ur coming from abt the vibes of it all
YEAH THIS.
before splitting into a system, babydog (former, individual babydog) had a huge problem with this. the werewolf version of ourself has always been small, frail, scared, and "violent" in defense rather than offense. even the giant huge muscly werewolves which now exist within our system don't feel this.... edgy-dark-angry-trauma-rotting-gross aesthetic/vibe/behavior/thoughts/etc. we have another werewolf who lives a super casual laid-back life and just Happens To Be A 7 ft tall Werewolf. i know we've made posts before about the lack of frail wimpy werewolves, the lack of feminine werewolves and hyperfeminine werewolves; the overall lack of non-masculine lycanthropy really sucks for a concept which is so universally felt by different groups (werewolves as a queer metaphor, disability metaphor, etc - you dont have to identify as a werewolf to identify with them) & i feel like the lack of variation in werewolf media really doesnt do justice to represent everyone who is drawn to them

So, im in college right? and theres a lot of fraternities around, and I met this guy, a friend of a friend, and he lives in a fraternity.
So far so good right? We kinda flirted with each other for a few days until a party last night where we finally hooked up (i was drunk but everyone said it was pretty hot :)) but i had to leave bc my roomate was very sick so i never got to talk to him abt anything else basically. I lost my virginity at 16 back in high school (a long time ago and not at all saying ur guy is like this ! cus he probably isnt! especially cus hes an adult so I hope to fucking hell he isn’t) and it definitely happened very fast and quick, texted for a few days, made out, and then met up to have sex. in summary it ended with my nudes being leaked around the school and almost a felony on my name (for sending them?) but the thing ive took out of it (and only reason for the story, im srry cus I was so young so it might seem weird to include) n held close is to remember trust is one of the most important parts of sex really! because your putting your pleasure and body into someone elses hands, but also your emotional trust because sex is so much more than just getting physical for a few minutes, and its important to remember that the lingering thoughts shouldn’t ever be negative, or the guy broke the trust you put in him. truly the after sex reaction is just as important as being taken care of during. in my experience, because I didnt know the guy well, I went into it blind not knowing what I total asshole he was.
and trust, in my eyes, means knowing you’ll be treated right afterwards no matter what, even without a relationship basic aftercare if the bare minimum. and to me it doesn’t seem like you are convinced he’ll do that for you ! so pls pls be careful 💞 who knows ! he might be an amazing guy but if you arnt ready to take that step yet, don’t ! because the good ones are always willing to wait. I would say text him/talk to him in person if you have to too. because and I’m hoping not but you never know, his and your friends might have ‘talked’, and sex might be on his mind too. so if you feel comfortable, get on the same page with him with whatever you decide angel !! you deserve to lose your virginity and be glowing afterwards, its so much better than regretting it 💗 whether u choose to get to know him better or lose your virginity to him, stay safe bby and use safety <3 (pls make sure to discuss possible STD history on his side too btw !)

felix - guy with the skinny jeans. he's a loser and a radio pirate (runs an illegal radio station). designated driver bcs trevor can't. he's disabled and has been chronically ill since he was a kid but he's doing a lot lot better now. he's homeless and lives in a van and has been jobless all his life. he has a big heavy backpack full of radio equipment and despite looking like a twig he's got a shocking bit of strength underneath that
trevor - guy with the messenger bag. he's a certified wet cat! he tends to take up a semi "rational" role out of the two despite struggling pretty heavy with hallucinations and stuff. he's disabled and carries a small pharmacy in his bag. he also cannot legally drive because of his hallucinations. he worked at a gas station for a few years after highschool and a few years of being homeless. he really likes oldschool grunge music and thrifting

Talk. Abt ur ocs . Just anything uv been wanting 2 talk abt.
srry for not responding until 3am i just had to wait until my brain was broken enough to just do my nightly way too long tumblr rant. anyway good timing bc i just spent too long finally drawing all of kidd’s siblings and their partners despite me having the ideas for all of their designs in my head crystal clear for forever and never doing shit abt it until now. techincally this isnt all of kidd’s family, he has a neice and a nephew and his parents ofc but we’ll call it finished for now
quick overview on kidd’s family. He was born in chicago to a young couple who were absolutly not prepared for a baby, and while he keeps in contact with his birth parents and has a good relationships with them, he was adopted by a family friend of theirs and her husband, his parents. He grew up in brattleboro, vermont, which is like. a tiny artsy city. and was homeschooled for most of his childhood. With the exception of his sister, Pauline, who was 15 when he was born, all of his siblings were already moved out by the time he was born. His older brother, Zachary, was already 25, and his sisters Daphne and Mari were 22. Needless to say, his growing up was slightly unconventional. He’s close with all of his siblings, but no one was really planning his adoption, it came up suddenly, so he didn’t really grow up with a typical sibling relationship with any of them. They do, however, all adore him and everything he does and are bascially his support system forever.
Starting with upper corner left, Daphne is one half of the twins. Her and Mari are the only siblings that share both biological parents. She’s the only single sibling, and isn’t really looking for a boyfriend atm. She’d like to eventually get married some day, but she’s taking her time with it. She works in education, a principal of a local alternative school. She still lives in vermont.
In the upper right corner, Mari is the other half of the twins. She’s probably my fave sibling after kidd, i adore her. she’s super motherly, and works as an art history professor at a university in mass. Her wife, clementine, and her met in highschool and have been together over 20 years. Clementine is a trans woman and has only been out for a few years at this point, so she’s still settling into it. Mari, who never viewed herself as queer before clem came out, has settled pretty easily into it, and couldnt be prouder. They have two kids together, who are elementary school aged.
moving downwards, Zachary is the oldest sibling. He shares the same bio father as mari and Daphne, a child of a previous marriage before their parents got together. He’s continously in academia, going back to school as often as possible, and works as a philosophy professor. His partner, Paolo, and him have been together for quite some time, and he is almost constantly worried about the rest of his siblings, kidd in particular. When kidd first came out as trans, he in fact, relocated to be closer because of how much he stresses out about his safety. He’s a good guy, but gets very nervous very fast.
next, Pauline, or Paul, is the second youngest sibling, and is also adopted. Her mother was also a close friend of the family, and after she was injured severly, pauline came to live with the main family as a small child. She’s very positive, and is a novelist, mostly writing ‘cozy mysteries’ and other paperbacks. Her fiance, Koda, is a trans man, and she actually met him when trying to find trans resources in the community when kidd first came out. She’s currently pregnant with their first kid.
obv, Kidd is the youngest. he’s hyperaware of his status of the babiest of baby siblings, and doesnt mind it. He’s always a bit behind, but he cares a lot about the rest of his family. While you couldnt pay him to live in vermont again, he does love a lot about his upbringing.

srry. thinking abt ls calling up void crying so hard he can barely talk or breathe. void showing up and he has to take a small approach when he does arrive to check up on him because he can tell ls is Petrified at him showing up. ls is too deep in his head to realize its actually his bf instead of some Clone of him with malicious intent and needs reassurance from void to make sure hes like.. Actually safe. starting by holding ls hand and giving him lots of room to move around and moving farther up his arm and Will Back Off if ls wanted him to. but if he didnt! hed end up hugging ls and giving him gentle kissies to ease him back into touch. LS typing in his phone to ask him to check the rest of the place for anyonw that may be hiding. ALSO not relevant to that at all but loid high kissies. ls approaches ven one day like Hey do you think you can get me something? Ive been super stressed recently and shes like Yeah i gotchu! and she gives him an edible or two and he takes one and it sets in over the next few hours and by the time hes at voids place he is Stoned he can barely see straight. void giving him so many kissies but then ls gently pushes his face away bc Every little touch feels Huge but also so small at the same time. he gets overwhelmed by the kissies a little quick but void does not mind he can and WILL respect his boyfees boundaries. them talking and ls Trailing off mid sentence because he completely forgot what he said just a split second ago. him and void laying together and tryig to watch shows and they both chuckle at how ls is trying So Hard to see straight. BUT void will not laugh at him if he starts getting #scared he will then try his best to be comforting. i also think loid sloppy makeout could be sooooo real( EXTRA SLOPPY SINCE LS IS HIGH OFF HIS ASS ). idk i just think theyd have fun ls would feel super nice throughout( if he needed to walk anywhere hed get void to help him bc he does Not trust himself to walk on his own. he has horrific balance usually like he will go Plummeting to the side out of nowhere ). i think hed chuckle about it too bc hes not in any danger of getting hurt so hes moreso just giggling abt how he can hardly keep his eyes still. him and his Infectious giggles+snorts seep into void and now theyre both chuckling and bouncing off of eachptjer and GRAARAARARRARAA they have so much fun. end it by simply laying together and probably dozing off (on ls part. he is so eepy all the time).
another thought i had was umm. ls can click his tongue really really loud and i had the idea of 1. void using it for a basic yes/no answer(if he is unaware that its a vessian phrase) (void vc Hey, do that clicky thing if you DONT want me to come in.) 2. him accidentally saying a full phrase in spiple+veevees language. like he clicks a few times just for fun and he actually ended up saying the vessian equivalent of a phrase of reassurance or Yes(its ok! or something along that). seeing spiple and veevee turn to him with strange looks of both Understanding and BEWILDERED CONFUSION(as to how he knows that phrase) and when they explain (bc he was Terrified when they turned their heads so fast in his dirección) what he just said hed get really giddy(he feels super smart) bc he didnt expect to say something In Their Language. oh fuuuck void knowing some vessian lang and using that 3-click reassurance when ls cant speak and Understanding what he says. spippy teaching him more click-only phrases perhaps(bc ls just . Doesnt have the anatomy for the trills. vaguely gestures i have my own idea of vessian anatomy in my mind.) oughhhh another way of veevee showing affection by putting their neck around yours or ontop of your head and doing a gentle trill. imagining how that would feel garararrurururururu... also never forget veevee sensitive gills. i think they try to hide how bad it can startle them sometimes(if you brushed your hand against them or gave them a surprise kissy). OH YEAH veevee is a hashtag drugs fan too. i think People Drugs would affect them in negative ways so they have their ownfrom their own planet. they get very loopy and kind of dazed? a lot more publically affectionate too( they usually prefer to smother osiris in kissys and head bumps and trills on their own time instead of where Everybody can see). theyd also have a constant gentle smirk on their face they genuinely cannot help it then. oh fuuuuck them leaning In to gill kissies. youd start to hear a gentle trill because they are Loving it.( they like them w permission Usually but the mushrooms from their planet affect sensation and like. vaguely gestures hard to word the mental images are vivid for me. ) a bit more sloppy walking(they have their tail for balance though!) and you can see the frills on their tail Fluctuating with how they may be "standing up". they usually make a Conscious effort to keep those frills up 1 out of pride. they looove how their frillslook i think they deserve to put (perhaps bioluminescent?) piercings in them sometimes for an extra glow or like. Pizazz. Idk. 2 to seem like.. Bigger? theyre big on their own(6 ft. no less) but they like rhe idea of people being a little intimidated of them(esp since they arent at home anymore theyre on a Ship in Space with new people entirely and they dont quite have the reputation that they did at home)
also a thought abt ls i think he is immobile for a few seconds after he stretches. he just gets so lightheaded and hit with a Huge wave of exhaustion he has to actively recover from it. he also has bad knees and hips and he cant really run for long periods of time(unlike venus she is Super in-shape compared to him. she has big strong arms that umm he wishes she would hold him with.) bc well One his legs give out entirely. TWO his throat can and will start closing up. i think it makes him freak out Super fucking bad when it happens but thankfully being on a high budget ship in space you dont really need to run that much if at all(although recommended to work out to keep your muscle mass to a healthy amount but hes mentally ill he never has the motivation for any of that so ven hypes him up and pushes him to do it out of necessity. shed hate for him to get the opportunity to go on a planet but his muscles+bones arent. Integrous? enough? to support him). speaking of breathing if someone lays on him while hes on his back he will struggle SO BAD to breathe his lungs and chest fucking SUCK!!!! i think he also has rly stiff joints and can never crack his back or neck or anything(can only do his shoulder Consistently). he also gets horrific phantom pains ever since he lost his left arm to cancer. ven deciding to come to his place and sit with him while he Writhes and offer some support(as best she can shes not all that good with words. Also on her own accord he would hate to waste her time but shes like No no man its fine i promise u. ion mind sittin with you for a bit.) i think also if he lays on his side for too long his hip gets Excruciating pain so thatsa reaosn why he lays on his back so much. OH YEAH HIS BACK i think it aches . very often. especially when he sits down? he also has SCOLIOSIS so thats not fun. i think hes a little conscious of like.. he has kind of a hump. another reason why he avoids looking in mirrors. theres a looottt of things he doesnt like about himself sometimes he feels like an Amalgamation of parts used to make a human body. HOWEVER. i think lovey-dovey spinoff of main void au void should praise Every little bit of him so the next times hes looking in the mirror he feels just a Little less shit about himself. appreciates his curves a little more and his flaws and that hes no less worthy for having them. ofc it doesnt fix his Depersonalization and just feeling like hes separated from his body but he can still start to simply appreciate it w some pushes from his partners and his friends(mostly ven). SPEAKING of eating actually i think LS has issues with eating regularly( he genuinely thinks he doesnt deserve it ) and void wouldnt jab at him for eating so little but instead reassure him that Hey just let me know if you wanna go out somewhere, i got all the money in the world babe i can treat u to anything<3 and his heart would melt at that. However he has a hard time straight up Asking for things so he ends up bumping his head against voids shoulder and looking around while struggling to say " Can We Go To That Fancy Restaurant Again I Liked The Steak ". bitsy is the more emotionally intelligent one of the voiditsybitsy trio so she would be the best at picking up on ls subtle little signs. so he does the thing he did to void To Bitsy so she guesses like. You hungry? and her heart kind of skips a beat seeing him light up and nod because it is So cute. pros of being as tall as itsybitsy include looking down at your boyfriend and seeing how cute he is and the glimmer in his eye and and and* i get shot dead *. speaking of i think ls LOOOOVES bitsys voice. how it rumbles and how its so deep and how she calls him such a sweet thing. How she says ' good morning, baby.' followed by a slow kiss on the forehead. How she holds him so close and he can Feel her voice in his bones he ffFFFUCKING LOVES IT!!!! he loves voids voice too and how well he can hold a note. sounding so graceful and pretty even when theyre laying on their sides in a hotel bed near voids next performance venue(IMAGINING VOID SINGING HIM TO SLEEP).every word coming out of his mouth so smoothly. HED PROBABLY WRITE A POEM ABT IT TO BE HONEST.. hed also love when void decreases his mass so he gets like No joint pain. also startles him at how easily he can move up and how its kind of hard to go Crashing into a wall. also his relationship w the apodo " Elsie ". i think his ex used to call him that so theres kind of some Negative connotation until ven comes up w it and starts calling him that regularly so he then starts to associate it with Venus one of the loves of his life instead of the TOTAL CRINGE his ex was. he forgets abt his ex almost entirely with the nickname Elsie especially when void+itsy+bitsy start calling him by it and when they call it out with such Love in their tones. when will bitsy call him elsie-baby for the first time while theyre laying together and he Melts. when will ls cry because he feels so loved. THE SAME FOR VEEVEE xeyre not used to genuine loving relationships where they arent taken advantage of and expected to sit and be pretty but iurrororougiguhugu when they start Officially dating osiris( i think they had a good few months time of them just being very intimate and close before they both were like. Oh. Just bcuz veevees been gone a while i dont think theyre any less like.. Respected? than before. the vessian theyd yelled at definitely gets a little shunned by their friends for a while after. they also find themself chatting up other vessians ( a lot less Condescendingly too) that theyd usually avoid for being 'Unattractive' since beauty standards were Heavily ingrained in them a few years back. The growth is fucking crazy.
OH YRAH and v-enus FIGHTS. i think theyd be snippy with eachother early on before v- actually gets good at seeing other people on the same level as theirs. theyd probably give her nasty looks bc shes so unapologetically Herself. shes loud and rambunctious and rough and they dont Like that. theyd make sure she knows it too and Usually ven takes it pretty well. but when veevee starts jabbig At Her or How She Acts i think thats when it can start with her Shoving v- out of her way. v- then is like DID SHE JUST DO THAT? bc they hold themself Far above her and for her to have the audacity to do that? UNHEARD OF! that results in a Swat from v-( WHO HAS VERY SHARP CLAWS) then venus lets out a GRAOW FUCK! and thats when. A full on fight starts. they get broken up sooner or later but it gets nasty anddd now their perceptions of eachother are Tarnished. not forever but for a Good long while. hissing things abt one another under their breath and only holding back on full on arguments if their friends were in the same room. example osiris+veevee+spiple+ven. imagining them all on the couch and v-enus are doing passive middle fingers at eachother every once in a while but not sparking a full on fight. over the next few years i think veevee gets their nose a little broken and they get the Terror of having thought that they killed venus(THEYRE STILL VERY ELECTRIC) but really she just blacked out for a moment. v- wants to kick her ass and come out on top but good god theyd never want to Kill her. theyre Horrified of killing people especially having seen it first hand back at home w/ the Ever deadly tridacts. electrocuting venus and watching her instantly fall to the floor without her getting up righy after and staring blankly into the ceiling their heart would Drop. any rage they had before is completely gone and now theyre on their knees shaking ven trying to get her to wake up but she Wont( theyre too panicked to check for a pulse but trust me shes alive ) and theyd start choking up and the frills on their tail would Drop and and andnandnnand. Until ven groans and shes blinking the bright ass lights out of her face and rolling over confused on what was just happening. It doesnt help that when she turns over to veevee kneeled beside her seemingly Frozen with terror shes like. Hhuh? and veevee goes on this Tirade like OH MY GOD I THOUGHT YOU WERE FUCKING DEAD! dont you EVER do that shit to me again do you HEAR ME? and ven who just woke up from crashing on the ground and her heart feels soo heavy is so confused cus everythings still a little muffled and her teeth feel weird and shes being Yelled at and barely remembers the fight they were in before. i think v- would actually help her up but the second she teases them about it theyd let her go bc they are So upset about thinking they murdered her. osiris would have limited sympathy hearing abt it bc she Would explain to them that. Veevee i love you with my whole heart and more. But that was kind of your fault. and theyd only be mildly mad about it until theyre like. Okay. Yeah. Youre right. and groan while rubbing their face because they Need to say sorry to ven about it<- emphasized by osiris. ven wouldnt accept their apology because Holy Fuck That Could Have Been So Much Worse but she appreciates them doing it at all. more years go by and (in main void capture au) i think theyd fight less over stupid things because the ships radar has been detecting some. Weird things trailing behind it. Sort of like heat-seeking missiles. and they dont quite have the time to fight over petty diferencias when theres something This Strange going on they Need to be working together. which is perfect timing wise because when the accretions finally manage to catch up w/ the ship and break void out ( venus spiple and LS and veevee were all on an external ship a safe distance away from the main one doing maintenance ) osiris is Killed in the process and i think venus would be a good comfort when theyre coping. their heart would beBroken. their chest would Sink seeing the ship get ripped apart and knowing shes in there and there being No goddamn way she survived. theyd start banging at the glass screaming and wailing because one of the few genuine loves in their life is Gone and this time it wasnt a breakup shes dead. i think theyd be inconsolable for a month their mental+physical health would Plummet. spiple and ven are there for them too but they Arent Her. i think they deserve to scream and Shriek about having lost her. when they think about why it happened for a moment theyd regret having helped void be saved at All. keeping the secrets of why venus took so long in the dyson sphere under wraps. All of it they regret so horribly theyd be tempted to give up all of the info they have about void to assist in his Recapture but they wouldnt because i think theyd be a little aware of how emotionally compromised they are and ven being Very impulsive can tell that they would do it out of impulse( also being Horrifically traumatized but you know). also going back i think v-enus would also fight over them tormenting LS. back then theyre unaware of how emotionally repressed they are and they subconsciously take it out Mostly on him because hes shy hes vulnerable hed Never stand up for himself. which is why ven does it for him! they could be berating him to the point of tears and him agreeing w everything theyre saying Just So They Go Away but god forbid venus shows up. seeing how upset he is and how hes basically backed into a corner shrinking into himself crying harder and harder the more they go on she would be fucking FURIOUS i think shed shove them REAL hard to give him space to retreat so she can give them a piece of her Fucking mind. ls walking out feeling awful 1 because v- cornered him and yelled at him 2 venus standing up for him. he feels like Such a burden for her needing to stand up for him (despite it being completely on her own volition. shed def talk to him afterwards though like You cant let em talk you down like that man!!!!!) i think ven is a lot physically stronger than veevee(never really felt the need to workout) so theyd back off of him for a while because theyd def walk away with some Nasty bruises a few hours later bc ven is a HARD hitter.

- he makes me laugh a lot, usually when he's not even trying to! sometimes he'll just respond to others in such a deadpan way that it makes me giggle. its a real problem during those royal meetings

- oh barnabas for sure! he is a very jealous person, that meme thats like "u talk to other men? 🤨" but hes also quite...patient? he likes to sit with his emotions before acting on them, so its not often (if at all) that he has those typical "jealous bf" moments

- well, barnabas isnt used to ppl caring for him (or sleipnir) and is also scared to let ppl close to him. he has this belief that inevitably, ppl will either leave him alone again or let him down in some way or another. it takes him a while to open up to me but it's probably late one night when the three of us are cuddled up that he goes yeah... this is what life should be and we're all better for knowing each other <3
- i am actually the last to know. it takes me a while to sort of settle in with both him and sleipnir. im still not convinced he's actually in love with me until after one of the fights against ultima (there's a few, dw abt it), kosmos' powers are completely gone n it looks like they won't come back. and he still stays. even tho im now just Some Guy, he stays and him n sleipnir fuss over me n make sure im okay n cared for 🥰 and thats when it hits that we are meant to be,,

i think werewolf is someone who's scared of loving and being loved... in the past when he tried to protect someone he cared deeply about, it went so wrong and he lost everything... (its funny how devsis just never revealed who his friend was 💀kshdjd) He's been hurting so much from being cast out and hated and feared, and it still hurts him every time cookies misunderstand him... But he also knows that he poses a real danger to others; it's implied he's hurt cookies before when transformed, and he doesnt want that to happen at all costs. So he's scared of getting close to others...he tells himself he's better off alone, not only to protect others but to protect his own heart... and he hates and fears the dangerous side of himself he can't control, the "monster", and thus sees himself as unlovable... (But at the same time, he has sm love to give and wants deeply to be loved!!😢)
I think werewolf would fall rly hard for herb, but have mixed feelings abt dating him... Of course he's really really happy, but he's also scared... and that thing of feeling sad even tho you're rly happy? bc u feel like u dont deserve it/like this feeling isnt meant to last... But I think more than anything else, he'd be scared of hurting/endangering someone he loves... he'd never forgive himself if smth happened to herb... so if herb loves him back, he's beyond happy, but he's like is this really ok if i have a chance of hurting him...
I would want werewolf to learn from herb's mindset that it's okay to live in the moment and cherish the small things in life that make you smile and laugh or cry... I think herb would tell him that its okay to cry and feel sad, but also that it's okay to let himself feel happy too?? That he wants to cherish every moment with him, and he wants him to do the same🤧 And that he's not afraid of being hurt... bc being hurt is natural and we all hurt others without meaning to, but what matters is what we do after,, and make it abt plants bc hes plant maniac smfhjd smth like how the sun comes after the rain and new sprouts grow, and smth smth trees become stronger and new life grows after being burned in forest fires IDK u get the picture🥲 BUT YEA!! herb thinks small everyday moments are precious and meant to be cherished, and he wouldn't want werewolf to be afraid and dwell on the possibility of hurting him/being hurt and not let himself feel happy and live in the moment, or think he doesnt deserve to be happy... Even small fleeting happinesses are precious, like rays of sunshine, or flowers that only bloom at night, and rather than focusing on their impermanence or letting them slip u by, let urself soak in their warmth and believe that life is full of these moments, just as the sun is sure to shine again after the rain (im just spouting bullshit now snfksfo&3);£|>~) ...and that it's ok to let himself love and he deserves to be loved!! and that it's okay to admit that ur sad and lonely, and its ok to need other cookies... 🤧
As for what herb could learn from werewolf... im sure there a lot of things but my brain is kinda fried after that incoherent wall of text 🤪 so going off topic but one thing i do like abt 🌱🐺 dynamic tho is i think it lets 🌱 get to be more bold and take more initiative?? bc herb is an introvert type but 🐺 is like... has 0 dating experience and wouldnt ever like try to flirt intentionally or advance a romantic relationship... like i think he's the type to do caring and romantic things without realizing/without the intention of being romantic and wouldnt consciously try to get closer... so i think in the early stages 🌱 would be the one to like. make moves... invite him to drink tea as thanks for helping him out or go for a walk together n stuff... i just think herb would have the opportunity to be a bit more active in advancing their relationship dmgnnd (itd def be a slow burn w them tho🤧) And I feel like herb as a partner to werewolf rly brings out herb's strengths... like his outlook on life and his capacity to soothe and heal... i like to see it 🤧

A few weeks ago in school I was thinking of Ace (as I usually do) and came up with a school au scenario and I am. MELTIGN AND BEJNG BOIELD I N AN OVEN. imma explain all terms u are probably not familiar with, sorry bout that ✋ i thought i should send u this cuz ace is lovely and i love thinking abt him anywhere, anytime <33
its set in a school MUN club (a bunch of nerds go there and debate really formally about serious topics) and reader is a chair (ultra nerd who makes sure everything happens in order), while ace is a staff member (doesnt participate in the debate, but is responsible for passing papers around, counting votes etc.)
theres thing called the gossip box, its a box where anyone can send anything anonymously, and as long as its respectful, the chairs will read the gossips out loud to everyone at the end of the session. u can freely flirt in there btw...👀 THEREFORE... y/n sends notes like "ngl that staff guy is kinda cute..." and "am i the only one who thinks the staffer is pretty???" all the time and keeps narrating the whole thing as if its not them who is sending the notes 💀💀💀💀 "seems like our lovebird anon is back again with another flirty gossip... whO COULD it be...!?"
there are also things called "punishments", which u get when youre late or something, and the chairs decide what to make u do, usually its like "dance in front of everyone" or "sing baby shark rn". one day y/n accidentally gets a punishment, and the punishment is decided for fun: confess your love for someone (it happens a lot in irl MUNs actually)
so... what if y/n... does _not_ fake that confession for the sake of the punishment...? and PERHAPS, they confess to the really cute guy with the freckles, that happens to have been confessed to a trillion times through anonymous notes? i mean.. its JUST a possibility

sorry if these have been talked about before, im not the most caught up on Aesymir's lore! does Aesymir have any pets? if not, anything he'd want as a pet, or just any kind of favorite creature in general? Does he write much, and if he does what kind of tools does he prefer (quill, pencil, pen)? how physically active is he? like, on a scale of "enjoys long strolls" to "you'll have to chase me at knife-point to get me to walk", if that makes sense. and finally what's his hair like? Is it thick or thin, soft or wirey? srry if these are weird I just love figuring out obscure details abt characters!
OHHH ANON you strike me with weakness. i LOVE LOVE LOVE this ask especially about tiny little things about aesymir bless your heart.
FIRST: pets!! unless you count his attending dredger (named dingleberry, usually shortened to berry) or his muscle, a stoneborne named gerard. he doesn't have any pets since them running amok in the library would be generally not good for the conditions of his archives and books.
HOWEVER, if he was to have a pet it would certainly be a rodent or mustelid of some sort. i lean towards rat or ferret, maybe even a squirrel. (my gf made the comment of him having a bird once, but he actually REALLY REALLY does not like birds. he doesn't interact well with her arrakoa character lmao) his rat would probably be albinistic (and im not saying that biasedly as someone who owned 15 albinistic rats /s). as for ferrets i feel like he'd have any of the fur varieties. definitely a red squirrel or shadowlands similar variant if he were to have a little squirrel friend.
SECOND: WRITING! OKAY SO he's actually a small time author, usually known for his cheesy romance novels specifically catering to the fantasy of rags to riches and slow burn with any sort of royalty. those are his claim to fame. most of the time, aesymir writes with a quill before, during his editing phase, where he swaps to a typewriter he brought from a broker at a hefty cost. he'll do this multiple times if he feels like he needs to add notes in the margins, strike things out, ect. he's actually very good at historical fiction too, and wrote a small novel about it once or twice, however he finds more enjoyment from writing about kissing royalty.
THIRD: ACTIVITY! you cannot get this man to move an inch out his library. he's incredibly secluded and has really bad agoraphobia. getting him to go for a jog outside of the library is unheard of, and i like to think after everything happens with denathrius-- he gets invited to a lot of parties, but never shows up due to his anxiety despite renathal enjoying conversations with him. he also actually deeply WANTS to attend venthyr parties, but gets VERY freaked out at the notion of actually having to show up and be seen by people. let alone having to dance and communicate.
however his activity in the library is unmatched. if he's not writing up archives, he's sorting books, if he's not sorting books, he's rechecking his shelves, if he's not doing that, he's running around like a chicken with his head cut off trying to keep the place clean despite it all being run down. if you keep aesymir in his library he'll work and even do things with you for ages, but if you try to take him out of his comfort zone, he won't move an inch.
lastly, HAIR! his hair is thick as hell, it's partly why he has it shaved on one side. it used to almost be a like a thick mane, but after he got tired of it getting into his face while he was writing, he chopped a lot of it off. it's still pretty heavy, but he thinks it makes him look nice so he's not going to touch it.
it's also silky smooth, and he probably over conditions the hell out of it if im gonna be honest with you.......

Aizawa had recommended you to Hawks after he wouldn’t stop asking how his hair was so nice all the time. Like seriously, Aizawa’s hair is so healthy and soft wtf. Anyways Hawks calls and sets an appointment and you’re kinda nervous because you weren’t expecting a pro hero to want to come to your salon. I mean yeah you do Aizawa’s hair but thats only because you’ve known him since highschool and he doesnt trust anyone else with his hair.
Your salon was small, you didn’t get many customers so only you and your best friend worked there. It was very homely, the scent of vanilla and a hint of KFC hit Hawk’s nose as he walked in- wait...

The bell on the door rang as it closed behind him. It was empty and quiet. Was no one here? Suddenly, his attention perked towards the doorway in the back. Your head popped out to see who was here, with a friend chicken leg between your teeth. Your face turned read as you locked eyes with Hawks. You stayed like that for a few seconds until you took the chicken out of your mouth and cleared your throat.
“Sorry about that, uhh, give me one second.” You quickly went back into the break room, wiping crumbs off your face and cleaning up your lunch. After you finish regaining your composure, you go back to the main room. Hawks was in the corner by a shelf of shampoos and conditioners, trying to determine which smelled the best.
“You’re here for a trim, right Mr. Hawks?” You asked. He hummed in agreement. “Are you sure you don’t want anything else today?”
He smiled at you, setting a purple bottle of conditioner down. “Well, my hair has been getting a little brassy, could you tone it for me sweetheart?” You walked over to him, grabbing a few products and explaining the process of what you’ll be doing to his hair. Your voice was quiet, sweet. He noticed how you almost refused to look at him directly, let alone in the eyes. Cute, he decided. You sat him down in a chair before you took a spray bottle and began wetting his hair. You noticed he had a lot of knots, so you grabbed a comb and began carefully detangling his hair. After you were done you started on giving him a trim. You made sure not to cut too much, and to maintain the shape it was naturally in since that was probably the way he liked it. Hawks was busy on his phone most of the time, but occacionally he would allow himself to look at you through the mirror, admiring the face you made when you were focused. After you were done trimming, you brought him over to the hair sink idk what its called i dont go to the salon and washed his hair. You then applied the toner, putting his hair in a cap so he could sit up. After a few minutes you rinsed out the toner and applied the purple conditioner he was eyeing earlier, watching as his eyes lit up recognizing the scent. After you towel dried his hair, you brought him back to his seat so he could see the color you toned it to. It wasn’t too different, but he definitely liked the change.
“Before I blow dry it I’m going to apply this oil that will keep it soft and help it not get so tangled, okay?” You asked before proceeding. He nodded and you got to work, pouring some of the oil into your hand and then spreading it throughout his hair. You gently massaged your fingers against his scalp, and watched as his head rolled back towards your hands, his eyes closing. You smiled as you continued massaging his scalp, his lips slightly parting causing you to giggle.
“You know, Y/n, you’re really good with your hands.” You met his eyes looking at you through the mirror.
“Thank you, Mr Hawks.” You smiled as you looked back down to your hands.
“I wonder what else you could do with them, hmm?” He said quietly, almost to himself. You felt your face heat up, turning a bright shade of red. He chuckled at your reaction, but decided to stay quiet and let you finish your work. Instead of verbally harassing flirting with you, he just watched you through the mirror. He couldn’t deny he thought you were very attractive. He loved the comfortable silence that would cover the both of you, with your occacional humming to whatever song was playing through the overhead speakers.
After you were done drying and styling his hair, you both walked over to the receptionist desk. Yk, so he can pay you. He gives you a hefty tip and you’re kinda shook. You tried giving him some of it back because it was just too much but he wouldn’t let you.
“Thanks for today, Y/n, you did a great job.” He said as he sent a feather to tickle your nose. You giggled as you tried to wave it off, your nose scrunching cutely. “I’ll be back next time I need my hair done.”
“I’ll be looking forward to it, Mr. Hawks.” You said as his feather finally retreated as he walked towards the door.
“Just call me Hawks, kid.” He smiled and waved before he took off, flying out of your sight.

🤛 - how does your character react to being hit? are they likely to continue a fight if someone else starts it, or try to de-escalate or get away?
hitting scythe will almost never end well for whoever decides to attack her. her mutation is pretty deadly, so if anyone really provokes her they will almost definitely end up torn in half. if someone else starts a fight with her, she will finish it, no questions asked.
🤞 - if your character needed to touch someone to check on their physical condition, how would they go about it?
her behavior would vary depending on who she’s interacting with. if it’s someone close to her, she’ll be very deliberate and caring with her examination. she’ll also probably crack some jokes or make small talk. if it’s someone she isn’t very comfortable with, grayson would stay very professional.
👎 - what kind of touch is not comfortable or generally unwanted by your character?
grayson isn’t the biggest fan of touching in general. if someone was going to touch her, they’d have to ask first. in that regard, almost all touch is unwanted. when it comes to situations where she’s with someone she’s completely comfortable with, she dislikes touches around where he ribcage is.
4. Do they have kids? Do they want to have kids?
grayson actually can’t have biological children, but that’s not a huge deal to her because she never really wanted to have bio children. the kids around the mansion are basically her kids, and that’s enough for her & her partner.

look man. we’re all friends here. i don’t think you’ll be surprised to find out the scythe’s main love interest is peter maximoff. no one is shocked, no jaws have been dropped in the general vicinity. they first met at the Maximoff residence when logan, charles, and hank went to go recruit him for the pentagon mission (think dofp) grayson, realistically, can’t describe peter with words that aren’t complete gibberish, but for this ask game’s sake she’d probably say he was A Lot but in a good way

she grew up in augusta, maine!

scythe is incredibly picky about food. she has acid reflux (not great for her emetophobia) and also she just doesn’t do well with certain textures. she HATES onions with a burning passion, and her favorite food in the entire world is the mac and cheese that the small, family owned diner use to make for her in augusta.
3. What does your oc’s voice sound like? (Or, if you have one, what’s their voiceclaim?) Can they sing, whistle, or roll their rs? Do they have any speech impediments or notable dialects/accents?
grayson’s voice is pretty androgynous. it’s definitely deeper than traditionally female voices. she can sing relatively well, and she can whistle like a bird. she speaks multiple languages, but spanish is the one she’s most familiar with. she has a slight accent because of this, and she’s great at rolling her r’s.

not well! grayson has a nasty habit of bottling up her anger and letting it fester, which can really effect the way she interacts with people.

grayson is female... sort of? she uses she/her pronouns and is comfortable being feminine, but there’s always been a part of her that feels like she isn’t 100% cisgender. she never really got the opportunity to explore that, though.

grayson is bisexual!

grayson reaper decuerpo doesn’t have any huge meaning, other than ‘DeCuerpo’ meaning “the corpse” in spanish

she had 2 siblings! there’s her brother felix, who’s three years younger than her, and mandrake, who was six years younger than her. grayson has always been closer to felix than mandrake, and the activation of her mutant gene resulted in mandrake uh. being Harmed
5. What’s their relationship with their parents like? What about other relatives?
oh boy. ohhhh boy. bad! bad relationship with the parents! grayson’s mother and father were both expressly anti-mutant which didn’t really. work out for grayson. her “father” wasn’t her biological father due to the affair that mrs. decuerpo had with a strange, but charming man that passed through town. this didn’t go down well with mr. decuerpo, but thats a story for another time. scythe’s other relatives aren’t in the picture and also actively hate her so. there’s no real relationship there
