♡¸.•*' thinking of dabi slowly realising what he feels about his angel is beyond possession or any dark twisted desire that he used to think of, it is a deep intense feeling that he’s never experienced before, something that frightens him to the core and makes his chest burn, and this time not from his quirk, he’s used to those kind of burns, he wishes it were those kind of burns, he can at least control them somehow, he can endure the physical burns.. but when the heart burns, that’s when he loses control, the only fire he is suddenly afraid of, and you are the fuel to it…

i feel so much about delta you guys
red vs blue really looked at me and said here is our logic fragment. this is the logic man. he feels logic. he has a strong survival drive. but also he loved york enough to be willing to die with him.
sigma wanted so fucking bad to be human, to be whole, to chase what they came from and what they were. that he totally missed the fact that delta fucking made it. Delta was more than the Logic Fragment. He had his own bonds, his own wants, his own drive because of his relationship with York.
And in his attempt to become whole again, Sigma... completely undermined that. Made delta into the Logic Fragment again. just another fragment, not a person of his own.
do you ever think about how if sigma had slowed down and really tried to work with maine, that maybe things could have gone so so differently?
i think about that.

Alright so
In Tangled
An extremely serious and important topic and piece of media
That I NEED answers on
Since Gothel was retaining her youth and in turn her life through Rapunzel, but she had to repeatedly seek out "treatment" to do so, wouldn't that mean Eugene would have to repeatedly be healed by Rapunzel? Wouldn't the wound in his side gradually split apart over time and threaten to take his life once again unless Rapunzel intervened??
Does that mean he's left to endure never-ending agonizing pain that comes and goes as time goes on and as she heals him?
ANd wouldn't that mean if something ever happened to Rapunzel, if she died before he did, unless she somehow is immortal {I don't know} wouldn't that mean the healing effects would immediately reverse for Eugene and the stab wound that almost took his life would then succeed?
I suppose on a lighter note though, they'd get to die together

*taps microphone* so i’d just like to talk about all the little kids in coruscant who would absolutely be out of their mind with love and awe for the corrie guard, and their fire engine red painted armour
these kids
these kids would wait at their windows to watch them drive past their window on a scheduled patrol. they’d be so thrilled to see them in the market. or when Fox is standing next to Palpatine in the press in his extra red paint
their parent will be like ‘want to talk to them?’ and the kids will get all shy.
they might even draw pictures of them to give to them
because no matter what the adults think, abiut flesh droids or military police being given more and more responsibility (that theybwould see as power) as the war went on, but little kids know what’s up. they know how cool garbage men are, and fire men (with the shiny red paint), and other civil servants that adults don’t think are awesome but kids know
and you know, you just know that Sergeant Hound, with his cute mastiff and awesome bucket paint would be the absolute pinnacle of coolness to an eight year old coruscanti child

There’s actually a hidden meaning to Baru’s cryptarch title, Agonist, that’s not stated in the book. Yes, it’s explained she picked the name because it means “one who suffers”, and by god, she certainly suffers. But it’s also a term used in biochemistry, . It simply means a chemical that activates a receptor; for example, serotonin is an agonist for serotonin receptors. But there are two types of agonists - endogenous (ones that the body produces naturally), and exogenous (drugs). Keeping the serotonin example, the medication buspirone is a serotonin agonist, as it essentially tricks the receptors into thinking that it is serotonin.
And that’s just it! Baru is tricking the empire into thinking she’s faithful to them, that she’s a loyal agent. She’s doing the work they expect of her, and they are (hopefully) none the wiser. So when she betrays them, much like quitting a drug cold turkey, the empire is going to (again, hopefully) fall apart. I think this is an extremely clever hidden meaning, and since Seth Dickinson studied neuroscience, I think it’s safe to say they were aware of this definition when they gave the title to Baru.

why the fuck did i write about birds this fucking sucks. i just found out birds only sleep for a few minutes at a time, hundreds of times a day. do you know what this is going to do to my structure? the logistics of their road trip? this is already like three days late and i've been fighting for my life to get A Plot Like Any Plot That Makes Sense out and now the birds fucking sleep for 5 minutes at a time.

still losing my mind at the way houses relationship with john would have fucked up the way he sees being an omega. just,,, teen house, young and confused, experiencing these absoloutely brutal heats. not understanding why they are so bad and hard when theyre supposed to be a time where an omega feels good. already feeling broken and wrong, and then having to face john's anger and disappointment over him being an omega
like i can only imagine how it would affect him in heat, a time where he would be less able to think coherently. and constantly remembering how traumatic and horrible his heats as a teen were, the memory making him feel bad and in turn making him feel physically worse. just like,,, a constant feedback loop of remembering and feeling bad -> feeling physically worse in turn -> reminding himself even more of his childhood and feeling worse
i feel like after having to deal with his first few heats without a strong family net to acclimate to the changes, once house is outta there and doing his own thing he tries to never deal with his heats alone. he marks his cycle religiously, makes deals with alphas in med school to help him through them, or even finds street suppressants if he's especially desperate.
man. you just know john has put him outside for some of his heats, too. nothing to nest with, no scent blocking patches, just left him in the yard like a sacrificial lamb. it goes without saying how dangerous that is.
hell, once he's employed i wouldn't be surprised if he stole something from the hospital to bring home in case a heat comes up that he can't deal with, something that'll knock him out for the worst of it.
