The movie clearly didn't have the time it needed to really hash out the relationships but this was one of the best moments in the movie. Keep in mind tucker just spent TEN YEARS being tortured in simulations by Gamma. Do you think ANY of those simulations told him that?

Do you think he heard that, even once? Heard that he's a victim, not a monster. Heard it from Caboose? I don't. I don't think he heard that even once.

The movie didn't have time to unpack that but my mind palace does. I think about this. So much. It's easily one of the best exchanges in the movie. It's such a profoundly kind thing for caboose to say.

"tucker, tucker." "don't call us that. caboose, i-i, i-i can't stop it." "don't feel bad afterwards. i forgive you. i know it's not your fault. i'm sorry this is happening to you."

It's a show about humanity and the power of just a few idiot jackasses when they work together for a common goal. About how you don't have to be Spartan to be what the world needs. About how you don't find love by chasing ghosts, or by chasing what was, or what will never be. It is also the show with an alien mpreg arc.

red vs blue is a show about how grief will destroy you if you don't learn to move on and grieve healthily. it is also a show that has a sentient bomb that calls people slurs.

She gets back to the couch (grif hasn't moved) and she must once again embark on her Sisyphean task of relaxing as much as grif. She locks her jaw, squares her shoulders, and settles in. Ready ready for action. She'll pull this off. She will.

grif’s lazy lessons do eventually sort of take but for the first While it plays out like. grif asleep on the couch and carolina sitting crosslegged opposite him with an extremely tense expression, unrepentantly LASER FOCUSED on “””relaxing””, treating the task of “take a load off on the couch” with the importance and intensity of a high-stakes military mission. her internal monologue is like yes. im the best at relaxing. i’m so relaxed and still right now. i’m winning. meanwhile her heart rate is like 150 bpm

Now that the "end of rvb" high has worn off, I think I can safely say that I really liked the finale. I could write a list of flaws a mile long, pretty much everyone did something weird or out of character (except caboose, who was perfect for some reason), and it was clearly not given enough time, but it had so many ideas that will keep me entertained forever. And like, just because the show is over doesn't mean those stories would actually be. Simmons 100% goes to see grif.

And what they did with doc was so fucking insanely ballsy that I can't help but be fascinated by it.

Idk. I guess I'm just easy to please. But I really liked it. The performances had a lot of heart. The story had a lot of awesome ideas. I had fun. I cried at the end. Which is basically everything I was asking for, so.
