cowboy!rafe and farmer’s daughter!reader who are completely smitten by each other when he’s first introduced as the new help by reader’s father. cowboy!rafe who parades around without a shirt, knowing she’s probably lurking nearby. farmer’s daughter!reader who brings rafe snacks throughout the day as an excuse to talk to him so her father doesn’t suspect anything. cowboy!rafe who picks flowers and leaves them in random spots where he knows reader hangs out at. “i got your sunflower today.” she’d walk past him. “did you get the daisies too?” rafe couldn’t help the smile from forming on his lips when she’d turn around and they’d be tucked in her hair. cowboy!rafe and farmer’s daughter!reader who exchange looks across the dinner table while reader’s dad rambled on about various topics.

farmer’s daughter!reader sneaking out to the back house where rafe stayed at in nothing but a short nightgown while rafe told her all the crazy stories from when he was on the road looking for work. “i can’t believe you fought three guys at once!” she’d be perched over the nightstand, “you’re a very strong man..” it took all of rafe’s willpower not to take her right there, since he was a true gentleman after all. cowboy!rafe who ties bows on reader’s boots per her request, even though he already taught her how to do it herself. farmer’s daughter!reader who offers her help, which he was always quick to turn down. “just sit and look pretty for me, yeah?” he’d smirk when he saw her cheeks turn red. cowboy!rafe and farmer’s daughter!reader who started going on rides in the evening time to watch the sun go down.

cowboy!rafe who’d let reader initiate all their heated makeout sessions since he wanted to make sure she was ready first. “my dad is out of town for the next few days..” reader tried to sound as casual as she could, but really her her heart was doing backflips at the prospect of being utterly alone with the cowboy. “yeah, he told me about that.” she watched as rafe wiped the sweat from his forehead. “yeah..” he laughed at her not-so-subtle way of throwing a hint. “we’ll talk about it.” rafe pecked her cheek. of course later that night she found herself underneath him, his hands pinning her thighs down as he pounded into her. “fuck, i can’t believe we waited this long to do this.”
