Sometimes I have to tell myself that I shouldn’t try to “perfect” my vision of a drawing because I will lose that vision. That my idea will be obscured, and I miss the point of why I wanted to draw this. All that matters is that I was able to draw what I wanted to draw. And I wanted to draw gay dudes XD

FEB03: Mutual Pining
You’d enjoyed having dinner with John on your little shared balcony. He was every bit a gentleman, even if he was mostly joking around with you. He pulled out your chair, and he plated your dishes like a chef, serving you as if it was a real date. Part of you wished it was, but the other part of you felt guilty.
You had a boyfriend, after all. It didn’t seem like you did, though. He was never around, and when he was, he always made an excuse to leave. He worked in a senator’s office, and was “stuck at work” more than any normal person would be. You knew you needed to break up with him, but you just hadn’t found the right moment.
When you told John about your situation, he seemed to sober up a bit, obviously surprised since he’d never seen anyone around your place.
“Yeah, he doesn’t come to Bethesda,” you confessed as you twirled the spaghetti noodles around your fork, watching as the pasta slipped through its sauce, “He says it would be too far from the office.”
“Never? It’s not that far,” John said, a little perturbed.
“I didn’t think so, but it is what it is,” you shrugged, “Sometimes I wonder why we’re still pretending to be together when we’re clearly not.”
“Why are you, love?” He asked you, very forward.
You looked up at him, surprised at his challenge. You didn’t have a good answer.
The conversation moved to work and to family and to friends. You learned about his coworkers, and even though he was vague, you learned about some of the missions they’d been on. He would light up like a candle with smiles and laughter at some of the stories, but sometimes he’d become very serious and bottle himself up when he told you about the others. John was a complex man, but he craved simplicity. He wanted a world that was easy, and it made you wonder how much of his life had been hard.
In the week after you’d had dinner together, you and John were finding more and more reasons to be out on the balcony. He would smoke. You would water your plants. He would work on his laptop. You would read. Sometimes, he asked you to read to him. Those were your favorite moments. Then, one morning, you saw him through the window smoking as he usually did, but this time, he was completely shirtless.
You stared through the window like a hungry dog at a butcher’s shop, practically drooling at the meat on display. Goddamn he was gorgeous. As large as he looked in his clothes, he seemed even bigger out of them. His enormous, heavy muscles rippled beneath furry skin, and his shoulders and back were splattered with thousands of freckles. He was thick. There were abs, sure, but he was well-fed and powerful. His Adonis belt was round and heavy, cutting a deep v-shape that disappeared into his running shorts, and you imagined what those vanishing ruts would lead to.
Just when you let your mind wander a little too far, he walked over and knocked on your sliding glass door, scaring you half to death. You hoped he hadn’t seen you gawking at him.
You slid it open and greeted him,
“Hey, John, everything alright?”
He smiled, a bit embarrassed,
“Ahh, I’m so sorry to bother you, but I’ve bloody locked myself out. Thought I put the latch down, but it has a mind of its own.”
“Sure, come in. I actually have a spare for that unit. I’m telling you, it’s the ghost. I bet she flipped the latch on you,” you joked.
Then, John Price stepped into your small space, and you got an up-close view of those mountainous shoulders of his. He smelled like his cigars and the sun. It was the outside scent of the warmth that clung to his skin that drew you in. He was peering down at you, watching you step in front of him as you let him through. For a moment, you breathed the same breath together, and you were so close, if you just tilted your head… your mouths might just…
“You might be right, love,” he chuckled, pulling you from your stunned state, taking the key from your hand, “Two days ago, I could’ve sworn I turned off the bath water, but it was running, full-on, in the middle of the night.”
“Spooky!” You laughed in shock, trying to cover up your flustered, pink cheeks with a casual laugh.
“Damn right. Anyway, thanks for this,” he nodded at you and returned to the patio.
Two days later, your washing machine went out, and you were borrowing his. The same song and dance kept happening between you. You’d slide in past the other, sharing that same charged breath, and then you’d laugh it off.
This time, it was the basket of clothes that saved you.
“C’mon in, love. Washer’s there. Opposite side of yours, I’d expect,” he pointed to the old machine.
“Yep,” you nodded, tossing in the load of clothes, “Thanks for letting me use yours for now. The guy said he’d be here for repairs tomorrow.”
“No harm done. But, uh…” he paused, smiling knowingly, “Don’t forget these.”
You watched as he bent to pick up a particularly skimpy romper that you slept in recently. It was white and pale blue with little bows on the straps. He dropped it in the wash as it filled with water, and you thought you heard the faintest laugh under his breath.
“Want to watch a bit of telly while you wait for them?” He invited you deeper into the house, “Could pour you some wine, or we could call out for Chinese?”
If you stayed here one more moment, you were going to try to kiss this man, and you had to do everything you could to stop yourself,
“Oh, I’ve got some work I’m doing. Thank you though. I’ll be back in a half-hour or so?” You backed out of the hallway like a crawfish, trying to escape.
“C’mon. Take a break for a bit. You work too hard…” he purred, sinking into his sofa and patting the seat next to him invitingly.
You shrugged, push-over that you were, and relented,
“Sure, it can wait.”
“Can I get you a drink?”
“No.”
“Just watching Top Gear. That alright?”
“Yeah,” you nodded, sitting back gingerly in the sofa, feeling his body heat radiating along your left side.
The show was playing, but you heard none of it. You couldn’t recall a single thing that happened. Something about men in cars? All you knew was how deeply your neighbor was breathing beside you. You knew the smell of his detergent, filling the air of his apartment, borrowed and blue, the suds of which were mingling into your clothes, making you smell as he smelled. How his sheets must smell.
He was just sitting there, stock-still, but you could tell he was not watching the show either. He didn’t laugh when the audience laughed, he didn’t speed through commercials, and he was looking at you. It was subtle. He hadn’t even turned his head, but his eyes were on you, staring down your top. You’d just registered what you were wearing now, too late. You’d come over braless, in a tank top, those same hot pink almost-nothing shorts, and mismatched socks, scrunched at the ankles.
Eons passed like this. The show kept playing, and you kept wanting, with every fiber in your being, to crawl over this man’s lap and crush your body to his, begging him to fuck you. It had been so long since anyone had even pretended to want to.
But, you didn’t move. You wouldn’t. It wouldn’t be proper, would it? Not while you were still in a relationship. Not while he was going to be your neighbor, perhaps permanently. So, you didn’t react.
You did, however, test his resolve.
You uncrossed your legs and tucked them, criss-cross on the couch, spreading your thighs wide apart. You shifted as you did so, slyly pulling your top down just a little bit further, knowing your left strap had a nasty habit of falling off your shoulder. Like a charm, it did.
You pretended not to notice, and you watched as he very much did.
His hands spread wide and his palms ran flush across the denim of his jeans, down his legs, sweating, perhaps. His breathing quickened, and he now was very obviously staring down your shirt, his gaze pinned to your breasts.
Suddenly brave, you looked up at him, and he didn’t shy away. He wasn’t ashamed. He simply met your eyes, took one of his fingers, and - as lightly as he could - dragged the strap back into place, swallowing hard against his enormous, scruffy Adam’s apple.
You were still watching him, looking up into his face. You licked your lips, and his eyes went straight to them. You could almost taste his desire.
Then, the buzz of the washing machine shocked you. It rang out through the whole house, and you rose to change it over. When you thought it was safe, you snuck a peek at the couch and its owner. He was still sitting there, but his hand had moved to his crotch, and he very clearly needed to readjust himself. Luckily, you were mostly out of his view, but you stored that mental image for later.
“Hey,” you called out, “Can I borrow your bathroom?”
“Sure. Loo’s down the hall,” he called back.
You ducked into the small room and flipped on the light, staring at yourself in the mirror and reminding yourself that he was your neighbor, you had a boyfriend (no matter how absent), and you needed to get it together.

I saw your "The I.M.P family finding out your Girlfriend abuses you." and i thought it was great. so, if it's not too much trouble, could you do some where instead of I.M.P., could you do it for others, such as the Hazbin Family, Goetias, and/or Overlords? I just love your work and how you just NAIL these characters, and I'm just so intrigued on how other characters would react to this kind of scenario. I also have more ideas, so please message me for the ideas. love the stories and i love you.
Hazbin hotel family finding out your Girlfriend Abuses you
Tumblr media
You walked back into the Hotel, forced to slam the door to keep out the increasing harsh winds.
You'd left to get a few things, but ended up taking a lot longer than you'd intended.
You entered the loby, various bags of groceries stuffed in both arms.
As you fumbled with the door, Angel walked in, the large arachnid clearly bored as he wondered the Hotel, a lazy expression upon his face.
Upon seeing you, he immediately lit up. "Aye kid, good to see ya back!" he said all to cheerfully, walking up to meet you halfway.
You made it to the front desk/Hotel Bar together, placing your groceries down with a heave before you looked them over. "Hey Angel, whats up?" You huffed, glancing up at the Arachnid.
Angel looked down at you, patiently waiting before he cocked his hip and asked, "Did ya' get it?"
You paused, looking up at him your raised a brow. Angel stared right back, extending a hand before asking, "Dah Vodka and Cream?"
You instantly sighed, running a hand down your face.
"I'm so sorry Angel, I totally forgot." You groaned, clutching your head, clearly frustrated with yourself.
Angel looked down at you, thoughts swirling in his head.
You were an odd case.
Youd showed up to the Hotel not long after that "Grand Opening" and while you had no intention of being redeemed. You made it clear, you wanted to help.
Apparently you'd spent much of your mortal life volunteering with charities and aid groups, going to war zones and such.
Regardless, it was impressive how much you seemed to know about helping people, Charlie eagerly hiring you to work at the hotel.
From there you seemed to fit right in. You were a practical person, letting minor things slide, while calling out the big stuff, finding a healthy balance. Kind of like the neutral ground between Charlie's blind optimism and Vaggies utter bitterness.
Angel cocked a hip, giving a little shrug.
"Aw well, getter next time." Angel told ya, leaning against the bar. "Where were ya anyways, you was gone for hours. Thought ya was just getting some things and coming back?" He asked, peaking into your grocery bags.
You released an awkward chuckle, rubbing the back of your neck.
"Yeah, I was. But since I was out, I figured I'd stop by my place and grab a few things I'd forgotten. Aaannnd..." You drew the word out, looking away. "My girlfriend was there. We... we ended up talking for a bit. That's about it."
You looked anxious telling him as much, the spider quickly smiling. "All ya did was talk?" He asked, practically purring in your ear.
You quickly stepped away from him. "Yeah... just talked..." You said with such a somber tone the spider couldn't help but worry.
"Ya know, now dat I thinks about it." he began, doing his best to lighten the mood. "Ya ain't told me much about dat girlfriend of you's. Wat gives, I thought we wuz friends."
Angel always played up his accent when he was trying to lighten the mood. He knew you loved it.
You chuckled, the sound seeming to clear the air just a bit. "Well that's for a good reason." You told him coldly, taking a seat and leaning against the bar.
"She works for an overlord." You told him plainly, fixing your attire.
That instantly peaked his interest, being well aware of what sort of demon worked for Overlords.
"She's an enforcer. A good one." You glanced over at him, "One of her rules for our relationship is 'I don't ask about her, what she does... and I most definitely don't talk about her on a personal level." You finished with the slightest bitter curl to your lip.
You did your best to hide your frustration. Angel saw right through it. He was something of a professional when it came to hiding your emotions.
And it was just as he went to comfort you in some way, maybe try to relate to you, let you know you weren't alone.
That was cut short when a new voice chimed in.
"And whom is it we can't talk about?"
Angel swung around, finding The ever dapper Alastor standing before him.
"Geez Al, I'll need ta tie a fuckin Bell around your neck." Angel grumbled, hand to his chest in exaggerated shock.
Alastor chuckled a radio filled chuckle. "My apologies Angel dear, I was just curious of what you were talking about."
You just smiled, Angel letting out a scoff, "Ah, we wuz just talking bout the usual shit, ya know?" Angel chuckled.
Alastor raised a brow, but seemed to let it pass, Alastor asking you about your day. You spoke shortly, as you looked through your bags.
Which was odd, you were usually quite the chatterbug, you and Alastor having many a lively conversation about this or that.
From the outside, it almost appeared as though you were the best of friends. So even the Radio Femon could tell something was wrong.
Angel reached over and looked into one of the smaller bags. Peaking into it the bag, he found what looked like a packet of something serious, the spider going to stick his hand in and grab it.
You looked over the bags, and upon seeing him about to reach in, you lurched over and snatched the bag out of his hand.
Standing back up, you stuffed the bag under your arm, you and Angel just staring at each other for several moments.
Clearing your throat, you went back to the bags, doing your best to ignore the way the pair were staring at you.
After another few moments you looked up. You glanced at the pair before clearing your throat. "It's... it's personal stuff.
You didn't look at them, wrapping up the bags before giving them a brief nod, turning and walking away.
Angel and Alastor just stood there, staring at you as you walked away.
"That was weird right?" Angel asked, resting an arm on his hip.
"Yes it a was." Alastor Hummed. "What was in the bag?"
Angel sighed, telling him. "Its personal Al, didn't ya hear?" A little smile crossing his lips as he glanced at the radio demon.
Alasstor snorted, glancing over at him.
"Some kinda package or somethin'." He told him, face scrunched up in thought.
"I think I know what its for... I just hope I'm wrong." He told him uncharacteristically serious, the Radio demon taking note.
The two of them just stood there for a moment, neither of them particularly happy about what just happened.
You shambled out of the loby, moving down to the kitchen, dumping the bags onto the counter.
Placing down the bags you looked about, making sure the coast was clear. With no one around, you walked over to the fridge, opening the freezer and grabbed an Ice pack.
Pulling open your collar, you tentatively placed the pack on your shoulder, letting out a deep sigh at the sensation, gently rolling your shoulder.
You stood there for a second, just enjoying the sensation against your sore flesh.
Your moment was cut short when the kitchen door was suddenly swung open, the sound causing you to jump, dropping your ice pack into your hoodie.
Before you could do anything, however, you heard Charlie behind you. Spinning around, you found the Hotels proprietor walking with Vaggie, her... Significant other. You were never really sure what their relationship was.
You tried the grabe the pack, only to cause the Ice pack to slide further down your side.
You just stood there, back Ridged as you watched them walking by.
Charlie quickly noticed you, the girl perking up before striking up a conversation.
You stood there, giving her short, curt answers. Vaggie pointed out how long you'd been, you just telling her youd stopped by your place and got caught up with your girlfriend.
Vaggie instantly soured at that news.
She didn't know why, but the way you always sounded so sombre when talking about her.
You were supposed to sound happy when talking about a girlfriend, like she was with Charlie. But you always sounded like you were talking about an association, not a lover.
The whole thing left a sour taste in her mouth.
Charlie quickly brought up a new strategy shed been cooking up.
The two of you had long been strategising a step by step process to redemption. The two of you having spent many long night talking and throwing around ideas.
You were doing your best to stay calm, the ice pack becoming colder and colder against your tender ribs by the second.
Vaggie watched as you stood there, clearly off. You kept adjusting your hoody, trying and failing to look inconspicuous.
Looking down, finding bags of groceries on the counter. Wasn't all that strange, you had said you were going out.
Besides the various brown bags of foodstuffs, was a smaller bag, all rolled up at the top.
So, stepping forwards, she began unrolling the bag, and just as she'd gotten it open you saw it, darting forwards.
In your haste to snatch the bag, you unintentionally tore it in half, a mess of medical supplies spilling out.
Bandages, painkillers, needle and thread, disinfectant. The medicine littering the kitchen floor.
You froze, before falling to the floor, desperately gathering up the medical supplies.
You went to grab a bottle of disinfectant, when A hand suddenly grabbed it. Looking up, you found Charlie holding the bottle.
You stared at her, Charlie read the bottle before looking down at you. "(Y/N), what's all this?"
Picking yourself up, the icepack decided now was a good time to fall out.
After several moments of silence, you cleared your throat. "I've seen what infections... what wounds and sores can do. I don't want anyone here to have to suffer like that."
You went over to one of the counters. Putting down the supplies. Opening one of the draws, you found another paper bags.
Putting the supplies into the brown bag you picked it up and walked back over to Charlie.
Taking the bottle out of Charlie's hand, you placed it into the bag. Looking at the pair one more time, you just left without a word. Leaving Charlie and Vaggie in the Kitchen, completely unsure of how to react.
"Hes been getting worse." Vaggie told her girlfriend coarsely, crossing her arms.
"I know, I just don't know what's happening." Charlie told the Moth Demon, the girl was genuinely concerned.
Vaggie let out a displeased humm, reaching down she grabbed the ice pack, looking at it then to her girlfriend.
"I've got an idea." She let out a displeased humm.
It had been a week since the grocery incident, and things seemed to settle, everything going back to normal.
More or less.
Sick of spending all his time Angel had managed to convince you to take him out to lunch.
"So why couldn't we just eat at the hotel again?" You asked him, sliding into the red booth of the very noir dinner Angel had insisted you eat at.
"Cause, the food at the Hotel is too damn... good." Angel told you, wearing a mix of both disgust and confusion across his face. "Besides, they serve the best hamburgers here. I mean for real."
You smiled at the spiders antics, glancing out the window. "That good, huh?" You asked, raising a playful brow.
Angel scoffed, "Hell yeah that good. Honestly, its so good, if I found out they was dragging johnys off's the street to turn em into ground beef, I'd still eat 'ere."
You smiled at him, asking. "Youd really go full cannibal?"
Angel pfft'd, telling you, "Please, ya say that like there ain't a bit of someone mixed in with most food down here. Hell, even Alastor chows down on his fellow demons." He told you, to which you just nodded. Cannibalism was far from rare down here.
"Besides." Angel began with a smirk, "It aint like it would be the first time I'd had some strange mans meat in my mouth."
At that you had a good laugh, Angel quickly joining you.
After calming down, you looked out the window again. You'd been doing it since you'd entered the neighbourhood, this time Angel asked about it.
"Why ya keep lookin over ya shoulder like that?" He asked half playful, half serious. "Scared someone'll see ya with Lil ole' me and you'd lose your street cred?" He finished playfully.
You snorted. "What street cred?" You chuckled, getting a smile from the Spider. "Besides Angie, your like my best friend. I'd never be embarrassed to be seen with you."
Angel paused, face flushed as he genuinely had no idea how to respond to such a comment.
You hadn't seemed to notice, to busy fiddling with your finger.
"Besides, this is my Girlfriends terf. I'd prefer if she didn't see us together." You told him, staring out the window.
"Whys that?" Angel asked, the slightest edge to his voice. You sighed, telling him. "I didn't tell her before hand that I was coming."
"It's one of the rules of our relationship." You turned away, looking out the window. "I have to tell her everything."
There were several moments of silence, the awkward air just hanging between you like cigarette smoke.
That was until the waitress showed up, taking your orders with a resigned attitude. This was her life, and she knew it.
You waited a while, you and Angel exchanging casual banter, all the while Angel was thinking.
Now, Angel wasn't the most sentimental guy, the closest thing to a healthy relationship would probably be his friendship with Cherri, mostly due to the simple fact he hadn't seen his siblings in, shit, years? Maybe a decade?
But you, you were an odd ball.
You joined the hotel seemingly for no good reason. Sure Charlie paid you, and it was a fair wage from what he'd heard, but put simply.
You did too much.
You helped Charlie seemingly any way you could, using your many years of experience helping people around the world, this was priceless information. Hell being essentially one never ending, ever shifting battlefield. Your experience was priceless, and yet you put a price on it, and a fairly humble one at that.
And on top of that, you helped Charlie with all kinds shit, and all that redemption shit.
But the most important part, you actually helped people.
You helped him more thn once.
With his hangovers, or withdrawal. You'd gotten Vaggie off his back more times than he could count, and gotten him out of trouble plenty of more times.
You helped him, the spider opening up to you, and even with all the shit, you still stuck around.
So, he supposed you were his friend. Friendship being a strange sensation to the spider.
The two of you spoke some more, joking and babbling about this or that until the waitress brought you your food.
And too Angel's credit, it was an amazing burger.
It was big and juicy, and you could practically feel your arteries clogging with each bite.
Good times.
You were about halfway through your meal, Angel having just finished a hilarious story, and as was appropriate when listening to a hilarious story, you burst into laughter.
The two of you slowly settled down, but as you did a figure came up besides you.
You turned, expecting to apologise or tell the waitress you didn't need anything, only to freeze.
Angel quickly noticed your frozen gaze, and matching your gaze, he came face to face with a towering Hound looking demon.
Now, while most would likely have to do a double take to realise the Demon before them, was in fact, female.
Years of sex work had ensure Angel could tell a demons gender by a glance.
She stood before you, large chest heaving. "B-Babe!" You glanced at him, before turning back. "Babe this isn't what-"
Before you could finish however, she spoke. "What. Are You Doing. Here?" Her voice was calm, but held a dangerous edge, the tone instantly making Him think of when Val was angry with him.
You were almost shaking now, in a voice uncharacteristically frail, you told her. "We just wanted to get out of the Hotel. Thought we'd have some lunch." You told her, looking down.
Your girlfriend just snorted, before coldly telling you. "Your supposed to inform me of when you do something like that. We have rules."
"I know we do Babe, I just though-" you tried to explain to her, but she just slammed her hand onto the table the force and shock of which caused you to clamp up.
"I DONT GIVE A SHIT WHAT YOU THOUGHT!" She snarled, "You broke the fucking rules."
She grabbed you, pulling you to your feet. "Your coming with me. NOW!"
Angel stood up, intent on telling her off, when you turned to him and told him firmly, even through your shaking voice.
"Stay out of this, Angel."
Your girlfriend dragged you out of the dinner, you barely getting on your feet as she pulled you along.
And just as you were stepping out the door, you glanced at him, looking up with an expression that almost said, "Its alright. I understand."
And that just made him feel even worse.
He wanted to follow after, Lord knows he wanted to, but he just couldn't.
He didn't know what to do.
He was scared. And he hated that.
He sat there for, he didn't know for how fucking long, this deep pit of dread bubbling in his stomach.
Eventually he stood up, storming out of the restaurant as he ignored everything.
Getting back to the hotel was a blurr. He marched right up to the bar, Husk began asking him something, but before he could, Angel pushed him out of the way. Snatching up a bottle of something and taking a violent swig, Slumping against the counter.
Flashes of memory ran through his mind like some kinda fucked up picture show.
Images of Valentino dragging him away, abusing and having his way with him. He took another violent swig, desperate for forget, the drink just burning his throat.
The worst parts of the memories, though, were the fuckers that just watched.
Those that stood on the sidelines, watching as he was abused and violated.
And you know the worst part? The very worst fucking part, was knowing he was now one of them.
One of the watchers that just stood there and didn't do shit when someone needed help.
He felt rotten. Feeling worse then he'd ever felt before.
He ignored Husk, desperate to get away, running away to his room.
He slammed the door behind him, collapsing against it before bursting into tears.
He just sat there, feeling like shit, hating himself, a single thought running through his mind over and over.
"I should have done something."
It had been a few days since you'd been taken by your girlfriend, and Angel had become a mess.
He felt like shit. He missed you and the bottle just didn't help.
Didn't stop him from trying though.
He stared down at his phone, slumped against the bar.
He'd tried calling you, tried texting you. But he got nothing in return.
He knew what had likely happened. She'd taken the phone from you, either breaking it, bit more then likely looking through and listening in on your calls and messages.
He knew because that's what Valentino always did.
So he made sure to keep his messages light and vague, asking how you was going, wondering if youd like to invite your GF to see the hotel, making sure his messages were as innocent as possible.
He sat there for a while longer, staring at his phone.
"H-hey Angel. How are you doing?" The surprisingly sombre voice of Charlie asked from his side.
Looking over he gave a snifle, resting his head on one of his arms. "How am I?" He asked. Looking away, he gave a deep sigh, telling her. "I ain't doing well, to be honest."
Charlie sat beside him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Its alright, Angel. I miss him too. And I'm sure we'll hear from him soon." She finished, clearly trying to chear herself up as much as cheer him up.
Angel was probably gonna say something to sour the mood, but didn't get the chance.
The sound of the Hotels front door swinging open quickly got there attention.
Spinning around, they found you walking in. It was hard to tell it was you, wearing a hoodie, the hood up and covering most of your face.
Angel instantly perked up, jumping to his feet as he approached.
Reaching you halfway, he went to speak.
But just as he went to speak. You just...
Walked past him.
He was stunned silent, unable to do anything as you just walked past, avoiding eye contact.
He stood there for several seconds before his mind did a full reboot, allowing him to act again.
Spinning around, he found you gone, Charlie looking just as shocked and confused as he felt.
With a frown he stormed past her, knowing where you'd be.
His guess turned out to be accurate, as Angel found you right where he expected.
In your room. Packing.
He found you stuffing your things into a backpack you'd set on your bed. "Where have you been?" He asked softly, hoping you'd actually answer.
You just kept packing. That made the spider angry.
Storming into your room, he pinned your bag shut, stopping you from packing anything else. "Nothing?! Your just gonna say nothing?!" He snapped.
There was several moments of silence before you reached for your bag, trying to yank it out from his grip.
Angel put a stop to that quickly, scowl flaring acrossing his features. "So that's it. No 'Hi'. No 'sorry I disappeared'. No 'sorry for ignoring your calls'. Nothing?"
You didn't look at him.
He couldn't even tell what you were thinking, your expression hidden by your hood.
You went to grab your bag again only for him to pull it away, holding it behind him. Your breathing was getting agitated, fists balling
Seeing this Angel's face softened. "(Y/N), please, I know what your going through. Let me help you."
Getting no answer, Angel slowly raised a hand, intending to cup your cheek. Hoping you'd allow him ot remove your hood, allowing your connectionto be reconnected.
But just before he touched you, you smacked his hand away, snarling at him. "I don't need Help, especially from a whore like you!" You scowled, angry eyes peaking out from the hood.
You went to walk past him, Angel managing to snap out of his shock, and just managing to spin around and grabbing your hood.
It pulled off, pulling you back with it as you left, whipping around he got to see you as you stumbled back, landing against a cabinet.
Angel instantly froze.
The left side of your face had a giant bruise across it, right eye straining to open.
Realising he'd seen your face you instantly scrambled, running out the door.
Angel quickly chased after.
You may have been quick, but Angel had longer legs, and caught up with you fast.
You were mid lobby.
You'd barrelled past Charlie, the Princess being comforted by her S/O.
Youd made it halfway across the lobby before Angel caught up, tackling you to the floor.
You began fighting, desperately trying to squirm out of his grasp. But with him having four arms, bringing out his extra pair, it was virtually impossible.
When it was clear you weren't escaping, you began begging.
"Please Angel, just let me go. She's right outside! She's expecting me back!" You practically wailed, desperation increasing by the second.
Pinning you too the floor, Angel growled out. "No! No... I'm not letting you go back to her."
Through frustrated tears, you growled out. "Whats it to you?! Why do you even care?!"
You squirmed even harder, trying one last desperate attempt at escape.
Once that failed, you became furious, hot tears building in your eyes. "What right do you have you bastard!" You growled at him. "You, the whore that runs back to Valentino every chance he gets!"
You glared up at him, Angel stared right back, and suddenly... he just got up, letting you fall back.
This is when Charlie and Vaggie stepped forwards, Charlie crouching besides you.
You were unable to meet there gaze, laid there on the floor. Sitting there, a swarm of emotions razing your insides.
Charlie crouched down, asking you softly. "Are you alright (Y/N)?"
It was an innocent question, but that didn't stop your scowl. And I certainly didn't stop you from spitting out, "No. I'm not. I just want to go back to her."
You just sat there, looking away from her. Looking away from all of them, unable to meet there gazes.
Determined to refuse their pitty.
"That's not happening." Vaggies voice suddenly cut in.
Looking up at her, you found the girl wearing that serious look she always wore when she was set on something.
"Damn straight." Angel added, you looking up at him. You looked back at the ground, "What the Hell do you even care?" You growled out.
Vaggie just cocked a hip, telling you. "You just compared your girlfriend to Valentino, one of the most notoriously abusive demons in Hell. I can't in good conscience, let you go back to her. Especially with the state your face is in."
"And I'm guessing thats her handy work too." She told you dryly, signalling to the left side of your face.
You just sat there for a moment, before looking up at Charlie, then Angel. "I'm guessing your with her?" You asked dryly.
When you only got nods from the pair you looked away, staring back at the ground.
After another few moments, you scrambled to your feet, bolting for the door.
Of course, you didn't make it, reaching the door only to find Alastor standing there, the radio demon just shaking his head, single hand raised.
You stumbled back, breathing steadily getting heavier.
Suddenly you were surrounded, the members of the hotel all standing around you. You suddenly feeling like you were being smothered.
"Its alright (Y/N), were trying to help." Charlie began, sound far too understanding for your liking.
"We just want to help (Y/N). You can trust us." vaggie added, her voice far too genuine.
Why were they so kind. So gentle.
Why did they have to be so fucking good!
You began turning around erratically, desperately looking for a way out, but there was none. You couldn't escape them.
So you stopped.
Looking up, You found Angel just staring down at you. A calm look across his face.
You held back tears, your breathing picking up, staring at him until you slumped to the floor, letting out a strangles sob.
"Please..." you you begged, your voice whinny, desperate. "You don't know what she'll do to me."
Silence hung in the air like smog.
You sat there drawing in fear and sorrow, when suddenly, you felt a hand on your shoulder.
Looking up, You found the spider looking akin to an Angel.
"Its alright (Y/N). I'm here. I got you." He told you softly, pulling you to his chest.
Feeling his warmth, his arms wrapped around you. Knowing that he actually cared about you.
You didn't even care how his arms pressed against your stinging bruises.
Just having him hold you, his warmth, his care. It broke something in you. You burst into tears.
You clung to the spider, releasing deep guttural sobs, face buried into his fluffy chest.
Charlie quickly jumped into the group hug, squeezing you into a hug.
Vaggie joined next, mostly hugging her S/O, but still trying her best to comfort you.
Alastor just stood on the sideline, sombre at the sight of you in such pain.
Alastor was by no means a good man, and typically revealed in the misery of others.
But you were a good fellow, and he wasn't fond of seeing such a beloved acquaintance suffer so.
You cried an ugly cried for a long time. And slowly, but surely, you began settling down.
After a while you pulled back, wiping your nose.
You felt tired, so, so very tired.
You hadn't slept much in the past few days, stress and fear keeping you up, and when you did sleep. It wasn't very well.
You apologised, to all of them. Apologising for being such a prick.
Angel just shook his head, just pulling you against his chest, telling you it was fine.
You just sat like that for a long while, Angel holding you close, gently comforting you.
He'd stopped rubbing your back upon the first flinch, the spider understood you'd likely been beaten.
Charlie clung tight, the girl really wanting you to know she was there for you. The same went for Vaggie, although the girl had pulled back, keeping a hand on her girlfriends back.
Your little moment of tranquillity was shattered when the door was suddenly smahed off its hinges.
"I gave you 5 Fucking minutes, and you couldn't even do that!" She yelled. "You just can't do anything right can you, you dumbass!"
Hearing this, you froze up. Clamping up and practically shaking.
Without even looking, Alastor summoned his cane, slamming it at against the floor.
A tendril spilled out of a portal, shooting out and grasping your girlfriend.
Angel could tell you wanted to do something, likely feeling you needed to defend her.
Angel put a stop to that right quick, pressing you into his chest.
Alastor spun around, and in a haunting voice told her, "Sssh... cant you see were having a private moment." His voice steadily becoming more filled with radio static.
"Haven't you done enough." He asked, symbols manifesting through the air.
Angel covered your eyes as Alastor gruesomely squeezed the life out of your girlfriend, covering your ears with his lower arms as your GFs bones began to snap and pop out of there sockets.
And suddenly, she disappeared.
Gone without a trace, Alastor just standing there calm and happy.
Angel lowered his arms, letting you pull back after a few moments.
Wiping your nose, you softly asked, "What's next?"
Charlie pulled back, wiping her own eyes, she spoke up. "You stay with us. Your family (Y/N), and we're gonna take care of you."
You looked at her, giving her a little smile before you looked up at Angel, the spider telling you, "Well, I was thinking a shower, maybe a check up... but I like her plan as well."
You smiled, letting out a little chuckle. "Yeah, uh, I'd like that." You finished with a little chuckle, the sound of your laughter instantly lightening the mood.
"Come on then, let's get you cleaned up." He told you, getting up and helping you to your feet.
He gently led you our of the lobby, and just as you reached your room, you turned to him. "Angel?" You asked.
"What's up?" He replied, looking down at you.
After a moment of hesitation, you leaned up and kissed his cheek. "Thank you." You told him softly, a dusting of red across your cheeks.
Angel blushed in turn, before he kept moving, quickly bringing you to his room. Raising a brow, Angel told you, "You need a proper shower, I'll get you some clothes."
You smiled, rolling your eyes, but you still stepped in, turning and telling once more. "Thank you Angel."
Hey Hey, Sorry it's so long, I couldn't put a read more because it was just so damn amazing.
Hope you like it and thanks for checking my work out.

subway shenanigans
AN: this one's pretty funny HAHA i think i did a pretty good job with this one, also it kinda tempted me to make like an smau-style drabble?? idk how to do that but hey it sounds cool HAHA
pairing: dahyun/samotzu apartment au wc: 3871
One bright and beautiful sunny afternoon, when the birds were chirping at their brightest, when there was naught but a cloud in the sky, when the autumn breeze blew wonderfully, Dahyun woke up on the subway.
It wasn’t an odd occurrence, usually she dozed off on the subway anyway, thankfully for only a couple of minutes. It shouldn’t have been any different today.
In fact, there wasn’t anything different about today, except for the fact that maybe Dahyun just got a little less sleep than intended last night, too busy studying for an exam she had in the morning.
But, the exam was over, class was done for the day, and Dahyun could go home and surrender herself to sweet slumber.
Yawning as the train doors opened, she shuffled through the entering passengers, not unlike a zombie.
She swiped her card on the turnstile, muffling another yawn. Around her, the commuting hour had well and truly begun, with droves of people scrambling to get on the train.
With a sigh, she walked up the stairs that exited the subway.
And promptly froze in place.
This…was not the exit by her neighborhood.
Dahyun looked left. An unfamiliar road with cars zooming past her.
Dahyun looked right. A strange skyscraper she’d never even seen before.
Quickly opening her phone and scrolling through, Dahyun let out a thoughtful hum.
She was in a completely different city.
Checking the balance on her metrocard was a bit of a sobering experience, considering she had literally used up all of her credits to get to where she was.
And she couldn’t load up on any credits because she’d left her debit card at home, thinking she wouldn’t spend today.
That meant no spare change or bills either, all of them used for her lunch at the university.
“Well.” Dahyun muttered.
She was well and truly stranded.

Me: hey jeong?
angelbaby 😇💙: yeah?
Me: uh im stuck in another city

“Hm…my Lady is later than usual today.”
Sana tapped her foot on the subway floor. The resounding clack of her heels drew attention to her, but not moreso than her clothing.
Indeed, Sana dressed as she used to, in a velveteen black dress, with red lacing, edges, and bodice. A black bonnet adorned her head, similarly with red highlights. A red purse hung from her elbow, and to top it off, she held a black and crimson parasol in her hand, above her head. Even though she was underground, she could never be too safe.
Her ensemble drew looks from the surrounding commuters, a rather outdated but lovely look. But that wasn’t the only thing out of the ordinary.
“Lady Hirai…has she ever been this late before?”
By her side, a large black wolf whined, expressing uncertainty. A wide berth surrounded Momo, but not out of fear. The clicks of cameras going off was quite audible, but Momo paid no mind to it, instead shaking her head.
“Oh dear. I thought not.”
Suddenly, a ringing erupted from her purse, causing Sana to yelp slightly. Momo could only yip in return.
“…my word.”
Reaching into her purse, Sana took out a slim, piece of metal, her manicured fingers trembling slightly with every ring the metal made.
Her finger swiped, rather hesitantly, on the side of the metal that lit up.
“G-Greetings…this is Lady Minatozaki Sana. How do you do?”
“Sana, that’s cute every single time, but you know you don’t have to do that, right? You can just say hello.”
Until now, the wonders of the modern world never ceased to amaze. Sana’s cheeks colored as she spoke into the phone at an odd angle.
“My Lady…I just…it seems odd to be using this…cellular phone. I cannot see who I’m talking to.”
“Open your camera, silly.”
“M-my what?”
Sana yelped once more as the phone’s screen lit up, Momo cocking her head in confusion.
In the next instant, Dahyun’s face shone on the phone, wide but sleepy smile on her face.
“M-My Lady?”
“It’s the camera feature, Satang! If you press the camera button, I can see you too!”
Eyes squinting like an elderly person trying to configure a smartphone (which she one hundred percent was), Sana eventually managed to press the button, her eyes widening in delight.
“Oh! Hello, my Lady!”
Momo barked, tail wagging as Sana awkwardly lowered the camera to Momo’s level.
“Oh, you’re both there! Hi! Aw, you two look so cute.”
Panting excitedly, Momo licked the screen, causing a number of things to flash on the phone.
“Ack! Lady Hirai! Please don’t do that, the device is sensitive to water!”
Pulling the phone away from Momo’s disappointed whine, Sana cleared her throat.
“Ahem. My Lady, where might you be? It is past your usual hour of arrival.”
“Ah yeah, about that…I’m kind of…stranded.”
Sana blinked.
“Stranded?”
“Yeah, I’m about…two cities over. The one day our subway system’s on time, huh?”
“But…can you not just take the rail going back?”
“Yeeaaaah…I used up all my credits going here, and my debit card’s at home. Got no money on me either. How unlucky.”
“Oh dear.”
“No worries, though! You can just head back home, get some money from Jeong, then get over to me!”
Sana was forced to process all this in a few seconds.
“O-oh, um…I see."
“Yep! No worries! Oh, but um…try not to let the other girls know, alright? Especially Tzu, I’d hate to see what she’d do to the trains if she found out what happened.”
“I…um, my Lady?”
“Just keep a low profile! I’ve already texted Jeong, she’ll know how much to give you! Then, you just gotta buy a ticket going here, then we can buy a ticket for both of us, going back home!”
“Uh…alright, I—”
“You got all that?”
Sana glanced towards Momo, eyes flitting rather uncertainly. Momo could only yip in reassurance.
“I…yes. I understand, my Lady.”
“Alright, cool! Uh…not that I’m afraid or anything, but do you think you can come before it’s dark? College girl alone after dark…not so reassuring, haha.”
Sana’s eyes widened, only realizing now the importance of her task. Her Lady was in danger, in a foreign city with no one around to help. And only Sana (and Momo) could help her.
Sana could not fail.
“I will not let you down, my Lady.”
“Great! I’m counting on you, Satang! See you soon! I love you!”
The phone’s screen turned dark, indicating the call had ended.
Sana stuffed the phone into her purse, a visage of determination dawning on her face. She would not let her Lady down.
“Come, Lady Hirai. We must rescue our Lady posthaste.”
“Arf!”

-----
Where did things go wrong?
“I’m sorry, ma’am, but if you’d like to order a ticket, you can do so by the ticket machine. This stall’s for customer service.”
“I should smite you where you stand, mortal.”
Her Lady had only asked a few things from her, and Sana couldn’t even follow up on that.
“Ma’am, that is a threat, and I could call security on you for that.”
“Oh, it is indeed a threat. Father shall have you judged most vindictively.”
Don’t let Tzuyu know, she said. Keep a low profile, she said.
“Security? There’s another crazy lady here.”
“Crazy? You foolish, insignificant, worthless—”
“Ma’am, please follow us.”
“Unhand me! I should destroy this whole subway for misleading Kim Dahyun into—”
“Ma’am, please don’t force us. Just come quietly, and we’ll talk about this in a—”
“No! I am a Seraph! I demand to be treated as such!”
Oh dear.
“Lady Chou, I think it best if you were to just follow as these folks would wish you to.”
A stunned silence hung over this area of the subway, everyone’s attention turned to the beautiful, nobly dressed, and dazzling lady in heels.
And the wolf by her side.
“Bark!”
Tzuyu, eyes still somewhat angry, glanced at Sana.
“Minatozaki Sana, these men—”
“—are only trying to do their job. As are we, yes?”
Sana smiled, pleasantly, at the angel who had now halted in her place, looking around at the guards who were now sweating trying to pull at the seemingly young lady who refused to move.
Tzuyu finally relaxed, drawing a sigh of relief from Sana.
“…very well.”
That was the last Sana saw of Tzuyu (for now) as she was begrudgingly ushered off by a herd of guards that kept a five-foot distance away from her.
“I’m terribly sorry for that inconvenience, my friend can be rather…excitable.”
The subway worker at the counter sighed.
“Not to worry, ma’am. We get people like that every now and then. Now, what can I help you with?”
Sana inwardly shuddered. Now came the hard part.
“I would like a ticket to this city, please.”
The worker raised an eyebrow.
“That’s pretty far for this time of day.”
Sana stiffened, posturing up and holding her parasol at an angle.
“My business is my own.”
“Alright, alright. It’s my job to check these kinds of things, you understand. Especially with what happened with your friend.”
Sana chose not to answer that, instead keeping quiet. Inside, she was shuddering quite so. What was it with humans nowadays and their pervasive questions and nature?
“Here are your tickets, ma’am. Oh, and um…we don’t allow dogs that big on the train.”
The worker gestured to Momo, who was sniffing at some newspaper that was left on the ground.
“O-Oh?”
“Yeah, it might bother some other commuters. Even if your dog is pretty cute.”
At that, Momo’s head tilted up to the counter, tilting in confusion. The worker gushed.
“Aw.”
“I assure you, sir, she is very well domesticated, and she would not hurt a fly.”
Momo let out a yip of offense at the description.
“Regardless, ma’am, I have to insist.”
Sana inwardly cursed. She couldn’t just leave Momo here, who knows what could happen to her?
(In truth, Sana’s legs just shook at the thought of being alone in a train and having to suffer small talk with other commuters.)
“B-but, sir…”
In the next instant, all Sana heard was a deep growling that dropped her stomach to the floor.
Turning to Momo, Sana clenched up, as Momo’s silver eyes gleamed dangerously at the worker, deep and gritty growl raising the goosebumps on her neck.
And the worker’s, too.
“Ack…um, I meant…sure! Y-yeah, you can take your dog with you!”
And the next moment, Momo was back to panting excitedly, silver eyes gleaming with a rather apt satisfaction.
“…my thanks, then.”
Sana’s fingers snatched at the ticket, rushing off to the trains before anyone could say another word.
So much for low profile.
-----
Me: so
Me: why am i receiving a call from subway security
Me: saying that i need to come get a distressed young woman of whom i am listed as an emergency contact
angelbaby 😇💙: wow that’s pretty weird
angelbaby 😇💙: haha
Me: jeong pls
angelbaby 😇💙: okay okay, i’m sorry
angelbaby 😇💙: but at least the worst has passed, right?
Me: they just texted
Me: she’s disappeared
angelbaby 😇💙: …
angelbaby 😇💙: i swear to father i am going to murder that angel
-----
Yes, it was true.
Sana was guilty.
Of the most heinous crime imaginable.
“I am sorry, Lady Hirai.”
She spoke with such sorrow, one could only imagine that it was necessary, what she did.
But no, it was only out of self-preservation.
Sana was a selfish, cruel being.
And she deserved every bit of punishment for it.
With one last mournful glance towards Momo, she covered her face.
Momo let out a devastating howl at the treachery.
Never. Never would she forgive Sana for this slight against her.
And as a hand descended towards her face, Momo accepted her fate.
“Puppy!”
“She’s so big!”
“Her fur is so fluffy!”
“Now, now, children. One at a time.”
Momo let out another sorrowful whine as a child pressed their face against her fur.
“Big doggie!”
Holding tightly onto a metal rod affixed to the floor, Sana swallowed another gulp as the train hit another bumpy rail.
These confounded things were too bumpy, and every shake of the rail cabin had Sana fearing for her life, her skin turning shades paler than it already was.
These things were a deathtrap. And her Lady rode these everyday?
No wonder humans were so sturdy.
She winced at another of Momo’s whines, as another child grasped at her tail.
“Fluffy!”
Guilt wracked at her heart for giving Momo up to the children that occupied the train car before them.
She had to, otherwise, she would be forced to entertain their questions about her, and children were…
Well, they were a different beast entirely.
“Forgive me, Lady Hirai.”
With one last glance towards Momo’s silent suffering, Sana squeezed her eyes shut, praying that the train ride would soon end.
-----
Me: woah
angelbaby 😇💙: what’s up?
Me: there’s a lady talking to me
angelbaby 😇💙: really?

They finally made it. The same subway station their Lady had gotten off on.
Now, all they had to do was find her.
“Lady Hirai, do you think you could…”
Momo turned her head away, sniffing haughtily. Sana slumped.
“I already apologized, Lady Hirai. I had no other choice.”
Sana could only frown at the way Momo stayed at least 5 feet away from her. She sighed. Guess she expected this, anyhow.
“Even if you are mad at me, Lady Hirai, our Lady needs our help. And we can find her much faster if you use your sense of smell.”
Sana could use her abilities, yes, but she detested using them. Especially since she would have to use them to smell her Lady’s blood. And she wouldn’t want to lose control.
Momo, thankfully, acquiesced. She sniffed, rather reluctantly.
Her Lady had to be close by. It was getting close to dark, and who knew what horrors in the dark could get to her, without any of her tenants by her side.
Momo padded up the stairs that left the subway, and Sana followed in turn, being careful to prop up the parasol she had in hand.
As they rose the steps, the sunset gleamed over the skyscrapers of the foreign city, casting shadows over the street they exited onto.
Sana couldn’t help but gasp in amazement.
Human structures and cities in this age were so advanced, it was hard not to look on in wonder as Sana did, her eyes following the gleam of every window of every building on every street she saw. Towering over her, they were magnificent in their stature.
“Arf!”
Sana blinked out of her reverie, to see Momo rounding the corner of an alley by the subway exit. She quickly made haste to join her.
Only to feel her blood chill as her eyes laid on the scene.
“Oh, you go to this university? That’s crazy, me too!”
“Really? Wow, it’s a small world. What course did you graduate from?”
“Applied Physics and Material Sciences!”
The Lady of the Sanctuary was being harassed by a strange lady.
Sana tensed at the same time Momo started growling, but it seemed that the Lady didn’t notice.
“Oh, sheesh, that’s a quota course, isn’t it?”
The woman, tall in high heels and dressed in a blazer and slacks, pressed glasses up the bridge of her nose, chuckling.
“Yeah, I got in on a director’s list scholarship.”
“Wow, you must be really smart.”
How dare this woman take advantage of the Lady’s socially acceptable people skills?
Sana felt her fangs bare, restricting herself from snarling out loud. Instead, she cleared her throat, and the Lady finally turned to her, eyes brightening.
“Oh, Satang, Momoring! You’re here!”
Momo, ever the more relaxed, immediately stopped snarling, instead trotting over to the Lady with a bright gleam in her eyes and tail wagging.
“Oh, a dog! How cute!”
The strange woman crouched down, beckoning Momo over, but to no avail, as the wolf’s attention was solely on the Lady.
“We came…as soon as we could, my Lady.”
Eyes still glancing distrustfully at the woman, Sana allowed a smile to grace her features. The visage of her Lady smiling at her would never fail to bring her joy.
“Cool. I’m pretty tired already. Oh, thanks for keeping me company!”
The Lady smiled towards the woman, only to have the woman politely bow in return.
“It was my pleasure. It’s not every day I get a conversation as enlightening as this.”
“Thanks anyway, Ms. Kang.”
“Just Seulgi, please. Ms. Kang makes me fee old.
The aforementioned ‘Seulgi’ turned her smile to Sana, lips only mysteriously curving up further.
“Is this your friend?”
Sana took that opportunity to step forward, eyes narrowing at the stranger.
“Indeed. My name is Minatozaki Sana.”
The woman’s eyes widened immeasurably, and for some reason, so did her smile. Briskly walking over to her, she grabbed Sana’s hand.
If it were any other moment, Sana would have lashed out, fangs bared and hands ready to kill.
But this woman simply shook her hand. With quite the amount of force.
“What an honor it is to meet you, Lady Minatozaki. I’ve heard many things!”
Momo simply tilted her head, mirroring Sana’s confusion.
“Then this must be Lady Hirai! Oh, what a wonderful coincidence!”
Seulgi grinned with no small amount of amusement, turning to the Lady with vigor.
“These are your tenants, then? Oh, how wonderful!”
The confusion seemed to be apparent on Sana’s face, turning from the Lady to Seulgi interchangably, since Seulgi could only grin at Sana reassuredly.
“Not to worry, Lady Minatozaki. I have been watching over Dahyun ever since I felt her exit the subway. You have my word she is unharmed!”
The Lady took that time to step forward and put a hand on Seulgi’s shoulder gently.
“Thank you, Ms. Kang, but Sana here’s a little…jittery with strangers.”
Sana couldn’t help but agree, as Seulgi’s grip on her hand was now beginning to ache.
“Oh, where are my manners?”
Seulgi let go of Sana’s hand to bow, once towards Sana, once towards Momo. As she finished, she flashed both of them a great big smile.
“My true name is Callisto. I watch over this area of the city, along with a few of my own.”
The name sounded Greek, yet it rang no bells in Sana’s mind. Until the Lady decided to help her.
“She’s a shapeshifter, like Chaeng. Also a constellation, somehow, but what matters is I’m safe.”
Looking between Seulgi’s everglowing grin and the Lady’s weary smile, Sana could not be more confused.
But then, this was the Lady. And nothing ever normal happened to her.
With Momo’s best attempt at a shrug in wolf form, Sana resigned herself to her confusion. Her fangs receded, instead gracing Seulgi with an uncertain smile.
“…you have my thanks then, Lady Kang.”
Seulgi nodded, her head shaking so fast it could have popped off.
“Of course! Anything for the Sanctuary. Perhaps, you might like to visit our own? It’s not as safe, and our wards aren’t as specialized, but—”
Oh dear. This was what Sana feared this whole time on this journey.
Conversation.
Thankfully, the Lady decided to intervene.
“Thank you, Ms. Kang, but maybe another time? We’re quite tired from today.”
Seulgi did not seem deterred by the rebuttal.
“Of course! Let me know when you do want to pass by, though! Our haven’s always welcome to the Lady of the Sanctuary and her tenants!”
Finally, comfort flooded back into Sana’s system as she felt the Lady’s hand slip into her own, fingers interlacing naturally with hers.
“Thanks again, Ms. Kang. We’ll see you around.”
The shapeshifter waved her hand excitedly, glasses on the verge of falling off of her face.
Momo padded to their side as they turned to leave.
“Whew. Extroverts. Can’t stand them.”
Sana could not help but agree.
“How was the subway?”
Terrible. Disastrous. Horrid. Never again.
Momo didn’t need to hear Sana say anything to shudder terribly, still glaring at Sana out of the side of her eye.
“It was…fine, my Lady.”
Thankfully, Dahyun didn’t seem to catch on, instead smiling and squeezing Sana’s hand, to which Sana let out a quick sigh of relief.
“That’s great. Let’s go home?”
This was quite the adventure. Not to say that Sana would have ever liked to experience it again, but knowing that she had done her job, braved the subway system, talked to strangers, and rescued her Lady from darkness was enough for her to be satisfied.
“We shall.”
Yet, there was still something she couldn’t help but feel like she forgot—
The flapping of wings.
“Kim Dahyun!”
“Oh, hello there!”
“Who are you?!”
“Oh, my name’s Kang Seulgi, I’m an IT specialist in—”
“Are you the one who kept Kim Dahyun here against her will?!”
“Me? Oh, I don’t think so, I was merely keeping her company as your companions were—”
“This is unacceptable! This city is far too large to navigate!”
“Oh, well, if you look at the subway maps, then I’m sure you can find—”
“Curse the blasted subway!”
“Oh my, you’re getting quite bright, that hurts my eyes a little bit—”
Sana sighed.
No, there was no such thing as a normal day as a tenant of the apartment.

Brooooooooo welcome to tumblr. Ur fic Bite the Hand That Feeds is famous here in our Jack Horner corner.
Firstly I want to say oh my fucking god I love your fic. You have galaxy brain and I can’t wait to read the next chapter. Ur last chapter had me on the edge of my seat.
Secondly, just wanted to ask how u started writing for Jack. Like wat drew you to him. Your characterization of him is so good omfg. It’s so organic like he starts out onto really caring about himself and then he evolves more and more to care about the reader. And your hints of submissive Jack, perfection.
This is just a bunch of word vomit that you don’t have to reply to but I just wanted to express my love of you and your fic. Have a great day! 💜
THIS IS SO SWEET OH MY GOODNESS!! You guys are rly too nice in regards to my fic but it makes me rly happy that it’s been a branch to be able to connect with all of you lovelies 🥺🥺❤️❤️ (btw PLS ANYONE EVERYONE do not be afraid of me send asks or messages or ANYTHING!!!)
CH 4 IS CURRENTLY IN THE WORKS RN AND ITS GOING OUT RLY GOOD! Y’all have given me some DELICIOUS inspo for it (I’m trying to bring back it being descriptive. Ch3 was rly just the reader going through the motions and was lame sorry :( )
So idk I went to watch Puss in boots with my family + boyfriend as a joke and we were looking at the cast list before the movie and was like “omg John mulaney is in it who is Jack Horner??” And then I knew of his rhyme so when his whole entrance scene happened I was like OOHHH… but I heard the wolf was super hot- and is respectfully- but by the end of the movie I was like “YO. THAT PLUM GUY KINDA?? 😳” so then I sorta just,, was too tired of waiting for fics. And with me my NSFW fics tend to be 6,000+ words so it took awhile
The best writing tip for Jack I have is: Whether it’s a “reader” or an oc dont make him care about them. It’s gotta be about HIM. And if you can’t hear your dialogue for him in his voice then change it until you can tbh!! I also try to not make him curse, and make his dialogue cheesy. Why make him say ass when he can say heinie. Can it be a turn off? Probably, but I think it fits him 😭 ANYWAYS YEAH SORRY MY OWN THING IS WORD VOMIT BHT!! Thank you so so much for the questions I LOVE ANSWERING STUFF!! AND YOU ALL ARE SUPER SWEET!! Thank u for enjoying my stuff feel free to msg or ask more idc!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Spider Spook
Summary: (Sequel to Just Scare Him a Little) Peter asks sugar to help him get revenge on Sam and Bucky.
Word Count: 1477
Characters: Sugar(Reader), Peter Parker, Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes
Tumblr media
Peter off to the side of the decorated garage. The annual VA sponsored Haunted house had expanded to now include a garage room that was purely to be used as a ‘horror teenage hangout’ as the older staff called it. Sugar was instructing some of the crew who were installing black lights while also observing the slide training going on. She spotted Peter standing off to the side waiting for her, the two had agreed to go over a project that Peter had for school.
“What are they doing exactly?” Peter inquired when the girl got close enough to hear him. She smiled and turned towards the two male actors sliding across the concrete with such velocity you could see sparks every now and then.
“Well I had an idea after watching how Buck’s hand sparks against the concrete. Not to mention it fits with the black light and neon of the room.
“Have you done that?” She nods at his question and wraps an arm around him to move over towards a table. “Yeah, let's just say my knees did not appreciate all the drops while testing different knee pads.” She laughs and turns her attention towards the younger male. “Now tell me about this project.”
He shuffled a bit before checking on his watch. “So, I might have lied about it being for school. I kinda want to scare Bucky and Sam.”
The woman leaned forward, a wicked grin sliding onto her face. “Oh. Dear, Parker, please continue.”
🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷
It had been nearly two weeks since Sam and Bucky had been in the tower. Between meetings and missions the two had been busy. However they dropped everything after receiving a strange video from Bucky’s sweet love.
The video started like a normal check in call. Sugar was walking around the dimly lit garage at the tower. She was most likely arriving home from a late night at the VA.
“Hey, Buck. Just wanted to check in and see how…” She trailed off looking around after an audible metal clang could be heard somewhere in the background. Her head turned left and right as she panned the area around her for anything out of place. Her attention focused back on the phone in her hand as she walked towards the door. Her car was now visible in the background behind her.
“Anyway, I was calling to see how you were doing and when you would be getting home.” Behind her, lowering from the ceiling was a black mass. It wordlessly dropped onto the roof of her car before the video feed glitched, a common occurrence due to the bad reception in the garage. When the video came back there was nothing in the background.
Sugar entered the lobby for the elevator as she went on to talk about going to visit Sarah and the kids for Halloween. Slowly a black, inky, looking mass rose up just enough to peek over her shoulder. A hand with long slender, boney fingers rose up. The black hand waved before brushing at Sugar’s hair.
Feeling something touch her hair, Sugar turned to look but the black thing was now on the opposite side and outside of the glass window separating the lobby and the garage. The ding of the elevator drew Sugar’s attention back forward. “I think I’ve been spending too much time at the haunted house. I feel like someone’s wat-” She entered the elevator as she spoke, her words being interrupted by a blood curdling scream when she turned around. Her phone fell from her hand and faced the ceiling of the elevator before static took over. The boney hand reached over the camera ending the video.
Bucky raced back to the tower to look for his girl. Sam went down to the garage and Bucky went up to the apartment. Both were still fully dressed in their suits from their mission. When they called for Friday on arrival they got no response, alarming but Tony did mention needing to do some updates to the system and the AI would need to reboot.
Sam entered the garage, his eyes scanning every inch of the room. The lights were dimmer than usual and there was one lone flickering light, coincidentally right over Sugar’s car. He moved over towards the car. He stood next to the vehicle inspecting it for any trace of temperament of anything out of place, but besides the empty coffee cups littering the floor of the back seat nothing was out of the ordinary.
Too busy peering at the car, Sam didn’t notice the black boney hand slowly reach out from under the car. The hand wrapped around the man’s ankle. Sam jumps back as the arm quickly shoots back under the car. Sam quickly bends to peer under the car but sees nothing but darkness as the lights in the garage turn off.
There was a low throaty laugh that seemed to echo off the walls. There was a brief sound of rushed foot steps before scrapping was heard. Sparks on the floor flew in Sam’s direction before a flurry of sparks hit the nearby support column. Sam quickly chased after the sparks. When the lights flickered on he was standing in front of the elevator doors as they closed. A black, inky figure inside slowly waving its boney fingers at him. The doors closed and the elevator began to climb. Sam ran towards the stairs.
Meanwhile, Bucky stormed into the floor he shared with Sugar. He searched for her, calling her name. Her things weren’t there but there was a black slime, coating items in the kitchen. The lights turned off leaving just the emergency lights on. Bucky slowly reached for his gun holster but quickly found that the weapon wasn’t there. His head quickly spun to see the weapon attached to the wall with a black substance similar to the goo in the kitchen. He went to try and grab the weapon off the wall but it wouldn’t move, not even with his metal hand.
His attention was drawn to the living room by a high pitched giggle. In the center of the living room crouched in a stance similar to Black Widow’s action pose, was the black thing from the video. The head tilts, a hand raised and the fingers slowly move in a wave. Bucky moved to swing at the black creature when it scurried to the wall and began to climb up it. The creature was able to run right by Bucky along the wall. The creature then moved onto the ceiling where it disappeared into the darkness of the rafters, where Barton liked to hide on occasion.
The door to the stairway slammed open as Sam ran in. Bucky looked at him confused before they both turned to the elevator dinging on arrival. The doors opened and no one was in the elevator. The two men looked up checking the security exit to find it still in place. They looked at each other. “This is because you touched that freaking voodoo doll in Louisiana.” Sam points at Bucky turning around and quickly repeatedly hitting his partner on the shoulder until Bucky turned as well.
On the opposite end of the hall stood two black inky figures that seemed to be mirrored. One stood from the ceiling and the other on the ground. The two in synchronized movement tilt their head and wave at the two avengers before the figure on the ceiling lowered to the floor.
“Having fun?” A wild cackle came from the end of the hall.
Sam looked like he was about to shove Bucky in front of himself to escape. Bucky himself was maybe a bit freaked out but that quickly vanished at the sound of the voice.
“Damn it, Sugar, what the hell?”
Peter and Sugar broke out in laughs. The two inky figures doubled over as they let out laughs. “Did you see Sam’s face?” Peter wheezes as he ends up leaning against the wall, pulling the faceless black mask off. Sugar nods as she pulls the mask from her head, hair going a bit everywhere from the static the mask caused. “Oh that was too good.”
“The hell?!” Sam shouts as he realizes that there was not an attack, just two humans pulling a prank.
“You had me scared out of my mind, Sugar.” Bucky frowns walking over towards her.
“I’m sorry, Buck. I just wanted to help Pete get you guys back for last year. It was good though, wasn't it?” She grinned up at him, mischief still gleaming in her eyes as she looked up at her super soldier boyfriend who still looked relieved to see her okay.
“Ha. Ha. So funny kid.” Sam muttered, pushing Peter’s shoulder as he tried to hide how spooked he still was by the prank.

It feels weird that the drawn to life fandom feels more active than the don't hug me I'm scared fandom.
As much as I'm pretty sure it's because I'm actually involved with the DtL community (and that the dhmis fandom is actually a billion times more active no matter what), It's still weird. Like, dhmis has one of the tumblr sexymen of the apocalypse. And! They're getting actual new content.

Levi x Sick Reader
Warnings: being sick, vomiting
I may take requests for Levi, but I only really write comfort for him...
Tumblr media
“Cadet L/N, you’re late,” Captain Levi called to your running form. You sprinted to your spot in the role call line, solluting to your captain.
“I’m sorry sir,” you apologized. “It will never happen again sir.” The man shot you a menacing glare.
“It better not.” He finished role call and started giving out the day’s events. “Run 60 laps and then move on to chores.”
The soldiers responded with, “Yes sir!” and started on their laps.
“Accept you, Cadet L/N,” Levi commanded. You turned your attention towards him and ran over to him. He gave you a cold stare. “You will run until I tell you to stop.”
You gave a quiet upset sigh. “Yes sir.” You solluted before starting your laps. You watched as the other soldiers finished and started on their chores. A couple soldiers shot you sympathetic looka while the others either laughed or ignored you completely.
The sun beat down on your running body hours later. Your legs ached, a headache starting to form behind your eyes.
“Cadet!” You continued to run as Captain Levi called for you. “Take a drink of water, then get back to it. Don’t stall either or you’ll be running all night.” You nodded, slowing your pace.
“Thank you sir.” You walked into the mess hall to get a glass of water, downing it instantly. You then sighed as you started to go run laps again. This is going to be a long day.
Lunch rolled around and everyone was in the mess hall. You saw Captain Levi cross the area you were running and you were hopeful that he would let you eat. Without even speaking a word yourself, Levi answered your unasked question. “Keep going Cadet.” Your hopes smashed to the ground as you nodded, running past a few dying bushes.
Rain clouds rolled in a few hours later and you started to cry. All you wanted to do was eat and get some sleep. The reason you were late this morning is because you weren’t feeling well. You had a small headache and your throat was scratchy but you sucked it up and went to training. Now you knew for a fact that you were sick. You could tell you had a fever by the chills rambling your body even though it was easily over 100 degrees. Sweat poured down your face and into your eyes as you rubbed at your aching head.
“You’re still running?” a voice asked from beside you. Mikasa was jogging beside you.
You let out an airy, “Yeah.” Mikasa looked concerned.
“Do you feel alright? You’re looking paler than usual.” Raindrops soaked your uniform, making the fabric cling to your skin.
“Nah, I’m fine,” you wheezed. Mikasa sighed and stopped running, now walking over to the girl’s dorms. The heat mixed with the rain made the air very humid, which on top of that caused you to have trouble breathing. Captain Levi came to get you a few hours after dinner. The rain poured down even harder and the temperature had dropped drastically, now in the low 60s. The Captain had his cloak draped over his head and shoulders, shielding him from the rain.
“Cadet!” he yelled. “You’re free to go.” You sighed as you stopped running. Your vision swam.
“Cadet?” The voice was closer this time. You sighed again as your body slammed into the mud, unconscious.
Levi walked over to his soldier. She had stopped running, but all she did was stand there. He was going to remind her not to be late again but he could see the way she swayed. “Cadet? He ran towards the girl as she fell into the mud. He dropped down behind her, shaking her shoulder. “Cadet!” He cursed to himself as he saw she wasn’t going to wake anytime soon.
“Captain?” Armin and Eren ran over to Levi. “What’s going on? Do you need a medic?” Levi scowled.
“No, she’s alright,” he answered, picking up his soldier.
“What happened?” Eren asked worriedly.
“She passed out,” Levi answered again. “She will be alright.” Leaving the two boys behind, Levi brought his unconscious soldier to his bedroom. He placed her on his bed gently and slowly stripped her of her tan jacket and boots. He covered her with a thick blanket and left in search of Hanji.
Levi roughly slammed the door of the lab open as he made his presence known. He spotted the scientist almost immediately. “Hey four eyes,” he called. “I need your help.”
The brunette smiled up at him. “Sure. What do you need?” He scoffed at her enthusiasm.
“Cadet L/N is unconscious and soaked to the bone. I need you to change her out of the clothes she’s wearing now and into something dry and warm.” The woman looked concerned.
“Why is Y/N unconscious? Did something happen?” she asked worriedly.
“I’m not sure why yet, which is why I need you to get her into something dry. She is in my quarters when you’re ready. And try to make it quick, we can’t have a soldier get sick.” With that said, Levi left the lab and got to work on paperwork in his office.
Hanji came in not five minutes later with a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. She walked through Levi’s office and into his bedroom. Levi didn’t look up until she came back into his office, arms full of soaking wet clothes. “She’s in dry clothes now. Mind telling me what’s going on?” she explained. Levi sighed.
“She was late this morning and I made her run. I honestly forgot she was out there until after dinner. She had been running in the rain for hours.” Levi had a distant look in his eyes. “Leave.” Hanji nodded and closed the door behind her. The Captain returned to his bedroom to see you still unconscious under the blankets. He took in how pale you looked and how you trembled under the thick blanket. Levi placed his hand on your head and quickly drew it back when he felt the heat radiating from you. He sighed as he went to get a bowl of cold water and a cloth. When he returned, he pulled a chair to his bed and dipped the cloth in the water. He gently wiped down your face with the cloth. He continued to do so as he soaked the cloth and tried to keep your temperature on the low.
He had just drained the cloth of most of its water and dabbed your face when you stirred and opened your eyes, drained of all energy. He pulled his hand back, surprised to see you awake. “Cadet?” he asked quietly. When you noticed he was sitting beside you, you quickly tried to sit up but he pushed you back down. “You need to relax, Cadet.” You looked around the room, confused.
“Captain?” you muttered. He pushed your head back down to rest on one of the pillows.
“I didn’t mean to wake you,” he confessed. “But I’m glad you’re awake. You need to eat. Wait here.” You watched as your captain left the room. Within minutes you had fallen back asleep again.
Levi walked in 20 minutes later with a tray holding two cups of steaming tea, toast, and soup. He smiled gently when he saw you fast asleep on his bed. He set the try on the bedside drawer and felt your temperature. He decided to let you sleep a bit more before waking you again. He shook your shoulder five minutes later.
“Cadet,” he said quietly. “Wake up L/N.” You stirred, groaning as you covered your eyes. Levi frowned. “Does your head hurt Cadet?” he asked. You nodded as you rolled onto your back. Levi didn’t show it but he felt bad for you. He felt as if this was his fault. He sighed, “I brought some soup, toast, and tea.” He helped you sit up slowly, propping you up against the pillows he stacked behind you. “It is important to stay hydrated when you are ill.”
You looked at the tray with the food, staring at it. Levi followed your gaze and picked up one of the cups of tea. “Here. It’s a special type of tea that helps with common aches and pains. It should help with your headache.” You took the cup with trembling hands. When you lifted the cup to your lips, the warm liquid flowed over your lips. It was soothing, at least it was before you started coughing. You coughed so hard you spilled tea down your shirt. Levi was quick to take the cup from your hands and place it back on the tray. He pulled a cloth from his jacket pocket and dabbed at the liquid dampening your face and torso. When the sputters of coughing fits wouldn’t stop he patted your back genty.
“Jesus Cadet,” he muttered. “You must not be feeling well at all.” When you finally managed to calm down, tears fell silently down your flushed cheeks. It hurt so much. Levi wiped the tears away. “There’s no need to cry, Cadet.” He then continued to wipe at the spilled tea. As he did so, the dots connected in your head and you realized you were in Levi’s room, in his bed. Your eyes widened.
“I’m so sorry,” you whispered, shaking your head. “I’m so sorry.” You started to cry again as you hid your face in your hands. Levi gave up on wiping away the tea when he heard your soft sobs.
“Don’t worry about it Cadet,” he responded as he pulled your hands away from your face. “You’re ill, I get it.” He then held the bowl of soup in his hands. He lifted the spoon to your mouth. “Eat.” Your eyes widened.
“T-There’s no need,” you stuttered. “I can feed myself.”
“Tch,” Levi scoffed. “You couldn’t drink your tea, so I’m going to feed you.” You blushed, not that anyone could tell though, as you nodded and accepted defeat. Levi continued to feed you until the bowl was empty. “Eat this toast,” Levi commanded as he handed the toast to you.
You shook your head. “I can’t,” you muttered. “I’m afraid I’ll get sick if I do.” Levi stood and picked up the trash bin in the corner.
“In that case, I’ll put this here.” He set the bin down beside the bed. He then pulled a t-shirt from a dresser and tossed it at you. You held the cloth in your hands.
“W-What’s this for?” you asked as you looked back up to your captain. He walked towards the door.
“You’re covered in tea. Now change your shirt.” He cracked the door as he left. You slowly pulled your soiled shirt over your head. That’s when you noticed that the clothes you were in weren't your uniform. You pulled Levi’s shirt over your head and layed down. Levi knocked before entering again. He took notice that you looked exhausted. He sat down in his chair, watching over you. “Rest Cadet,” he commanded. You didn’t need much convincing for that to happen. You closed your eyes and fell asleep.
As hours passed Levi sat in his office doing paperwork. The stacks of papers climbed higher and higher each day and he just wanted to get it all finished. The only noise that could be heard were the bugs outside and the sound of his pen gliding across all of the papers. It was almost three in the morning when another sound could be heard. Levi quickly ran into his bedroom to see you vomiting up the food you had eaten earlier into the trash can he had set down. He quickly got on the bed behind you and pulled back your hair. The heat coming from the back of your neck was worse than when he left just hours ago.
When you had finally stopped emptying the contents of your stomach you cried. Levi shushed you quietly as he picked up the nearly dried cloth and used it to wipe at your mouth. “Calm down Cadet, you’re fine,” he said gently. “You’ll be alright.” He propped you up against the headboard and turned your head to face him. “Do you feel like you’ll be sick again?” You shook your head slowly.
“No,” you said through tears. “I’m good.” Levi slowly got off the bed so he wouldn’t upset your stomach any more than it already was.
“I’m going to clean this out. I’ll be right back.”
Levi returned not long after he left. His heart melted slightly when he walked in to see you still sitting up except this time your legs were pulling to your chest. You were shivering violently even though sweat covered your face. “Cadet…” Levi said quietly. He picked up a spare cloth and soaked it in the water. He ran the rag gently over your face, nose, and neck. “You need to rest.” You looked at him with bloodshot eyes.
“Sleep?” you questioned weakly. Levi nodded.
“Yes, sleep.”
“Captain?”
“Yes.”
“Stay here?” You were already dozing off again as Levi helped you lay back down. He smiled slightly and pulled off his jacket, cloak, boots, and straps.
“Of course.” He sat down beside you on the bed. You rested your head against his side as he picked up a book, opening it to where he left off. Before you were completely asleep, you registered one last thing. You could feel Levi press a gentle kiss on the side of your head as he said, “Feel better soon Cadet.”
