Reading plan for 2023

Thank you @lf-redheadfly for tagging me!

So ummm. Let’s ignore I stole the Percy Jackson idea. But like, you can’t blame me!! I’ve been really wanted to see the original material since so long.

Delirio was recommended by a friend. He liked it, said it was interesting to analyze the symbolism used by the author (why do I sound like an old man saying that :). Similarly, Brave New World, was also a recommendation I very much want to read, because, I like my good dystopian science-fiction story (I’ve been getting into science fiction more lately )

With Del Amor y Otros Demonios, it has been in my list since last year! So I think it will probably be my first read. And like, Gabriel García Marques (the author), I’ve read several books of his, and I deeply enjoy his style and narration, even if it can also be very confusing.

And The Restaurant at the End of the Universe seems so cool and funny!! I saw a video about it, and I’ve been dying to get it since. Which I guess would make me also read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy… But we’ll see.

Finally, we shall not forget all the other authors and artists in this and many platforms, whose work I will be following always!! (Cof cof @lf-redheadfly , cof cof @arcl ,cof cof @ratcatcher0325 and all my mutuals and many others!!) aaaand, my manga and anime series that I binge watch once a month when I remember them lol

I’m scared of putting this out here and never finishing it… but I will try! I also want to tag @arcl @winterlogysblog @zorria in case they want to do it too

She was awoken in the middle of the night. Her violin was being strung. She lived alone though. Who could be playing her violin at 2:39 am on a Tuesday. She grabbed the book off her bedside table because that was all she had and walked to her living room. Her violin was on the table but she could see the strings moving. As she snuck up to it she could see movement in the moonlight. It was so small and subtle she didn't think it was real. When she got to the bridge of her violin she saw a small spider. Male spiders alert females of courting by sending songs of vibrations down their webs. this tiny spider was trying to court her. She picked him up and laughed.

" yes I'll marry you little guy" she placed him in a match box on her book shelf and found a moth for him to eat.

She went back to bed, giggling as she fell asleep. The next morning she went to check on the spider and he was gone. She hoped he was safe and found someone to love. She made herself coffee and practiced her violin until the doorbell rung. It was only 6:30. She had no idea who it could be. She set her violin down and opened the door. There stood a man in a tuxedo holding an emerald ring. His hair was curly and black, somehow seemed like spikes at the ends. His shoulders were broad and he was oddly tall. His arms and legs were not proportional to his body. His eyes were a light, golden brown. Gorgeous but unsettling.

" hi can I help you" she asked while very embarrassed of her sleep shorts and shirt with a smiling cactus that said don't be a prick on it.

" well I figured we should get engaged by your customs as well as mine, my love"
