I just binged The Morning Show and since s3 is in production I just gotta get a few things of my chest. First off I need to say that I love Corey (yes, even tho he leaked the article) but to pin him and Bradley together as a romantic couple is harmful and undermines the tone of the whole show.
We need to remember what show we are in. Most of the show has been about sexual misconduct in the work place. Corey is Bradley’s boss. And I just can’t get past that. And the way he goes behind Bradleys back in order to “take care of her” is just a major red flag. He tries to control her, and justifies is with it being for her best interest, that is literally one of the most toxic traits someone can have. So yeah, Corey is a male manipulator. And as much as I do like him we need to establish the fact that he is an antagonist.
I get the fact why some people oppose Laura. She’s confident in who she is, she’s gone to therapy and has this maturity many people only dream off. It can come off as intimidating. But the relationship she has with Bradley is healthy. They care for each other, they aren’t trying to benefit from one another. I’ve seen some people saying Laura’s using Bradley to get some kind of rep with UBA which makes no sense at all. She is well established on her own, as is Bradley.
By ep10, Laura has laid out her concerns that if Bradley doesn’t put up boundaries for her family she will never heal from her traumatic childhood and as harsh as it sounds it is the truth. I have bipolar disorder myself, I know how hard it is on my family. I personally have not dealt with addiction but I know people who’s families have been destroyed by it. Bradley has tried, she has paid for Hal’s rehab in the past and ha been there for him, unconditionally. With no results. The idea that we are responsible for our family members, and that we have to lose ourselves for them is very patriarchal. And Laura does not manipulate Bradley to cut Hal off, she does not order her to do so. She laid out her concerns and gave her, good healthy advise.
In contrast to Laura, Cory immediately jumps to help Bradley to search for Hal. But we need to know that there is another reason for him to be doing that and that being that he is responsible for Hal coming to NYC, Hal losing it over Bradley’s outing (which was h o r r i b l e and traumatic for me as a queer person btw) by being the one who outed Bradley in the first place. We knew that Corey had feelings for Bradley because he got hurt when he heard the gossip about her and Laura. He sleazes his way to get a permission to run the story, by again, manipulating her. He did not out Bradley just because they wanted to protect Hannah, he outed Bradley and Laura because in a way he felt it was his right by, in his mind, being led on by Bradley. And in the midst for searching for Hal, he decides to have this moment to declare his love for Bradley, which in my opinion just further tells us he isn’t doing anything for Bradley, or Hal, or anyone but himself. It is not romantic, is is not friendship. It is greed.
So to sum it up I really hope the show won’t start running in circles, because that’s what happens of they try to make Corey and Bradley a couple. I get the excitement, but it’s not sustainable. Laura and Bradley could make a sustainable, loving, caring couple and that is something that the LGBTQ+ community still needs to see be represented on tv, especially for wlw couples. If they used Bradley’s plot line of her exploring her sexuality to only further plot twists for her to end up with Corey? That is in my opinion homophobic storytelling and it needs to be addressed.
And if that is the way they choose to take the story I won't be tuning in for s3.

ABC Fluff- Shikamaru Nara
A/N- I’m late, I know his birthday was yesterday. However, this took me longer than I expected. Thank you to @sparkleswritings and Laura for helping! @briar-alexandra for helping beta read for me!
A = Affection (how affectionate are they in day to day life? Do they show affection publicly or keep that more in private?)
In public, Shikamaru keeps his display of affection on the subtle side. At the beginning of the relationship, he is hesitant to even hold your hand. Sometimes when he is feeling possessive he will keep a steady hand on your back or loosely hanging around your waist. In private, it's a whole different story. Man lives to cuddle and nap with his S/o. A big thing that becomes tradition is 'hello' and 'goodbye' smooches. Its something he looks forward too when going to see you.
B – Best (What would they say is the other’s best trait?)
One of the things he loves most about his S/o is the way their eyes light up. Whether it's eating a cake from the new shop down the street or when they're receiving flowers from him. Their eyes ever so slightly widen and begin to change into a lighter iris while a smile grows of their face. A simple smile that causes his heart to flutter.
C = Cuddle (How do they cuddle?)
It just depends on the situation and where you guys were at. Some nights your back can be against his chest with his arms secured tightly around your waist. Other times, you'll be at his favorite napping spot, curled against his side as the soft breeze sweep across the grass. Shikamaru doesn't have a favorite way to cuddle. As long as he can hold his S/o while their snuggling against him.
D = Dream (What do they dream of with their S/o?)
Shikamaru wants to grow old with his S/o. He wants to live lazily with them, waking up late in the morning. It's a simple dream of his. Shikamaru wants to share intimate moments with them, show them a side of him that no one else will know. Which will be their little secret. He wants to be able to let down his guard while let go of his duties without worries. Shikamaru sometimes dreams of their future with little ones. Waking up to their children peaking in the room wondering if their parents were awake or coming home to see his S/o and kids making dinner together.
E – Early (What was the first month of dating like?)
The first month of dating was a little awkward more so for him than you. Shika hadn't been in a relationship prior, he was still learning. He didn't have a positive outlook at relationships always thinking they were a drag. This man would watch his words, not wanting to upset his S/o. He would observe them seeing what they disliked and liked. Lowkey would ask Ino for help when deciding on flowers or other gifts. Any concerns he had, Shikamaru would express them to Choji or Asuma rather than you. Early on it's difficult to see how soft Shikamaru is for his S/o but his friends know how devoted he is. This man would skip a nap or two for his S/o.
F = Feelings (When did they know they were in love?)
Everyone close to him knew he was in love before he did. It would show in the way his eyes soften seeing his S/o out in the streets. He figured it out for himself when he realized how addicting it was to be in their presence. How every time they spoke, he gives them his undivided attention or how his napping spot was more lonesome without them.
G = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?)
He is so soft for his S/o. The tone of his voice is gentler when addressing them. Shikamaru doesn't use 'what a drag' as often when they ask something of him or when they're around. It often shows when Shikamaru interrupts you to brush your hair behind your ears before leaning forward grazing your lips with his.
H = Hands (How do they like to hold hands?)
Holding hands depends on his mood. Sometime he will have his hands in his pockets while his S/o is loosely hanging off his arm. Other times, Shikamaru takes your hand, and firming interlocks your hands together. Almost like he's scared to lose you. Palms pressed tightly together. There are times where you can be walking down the street with him, swing your hand while fingertips are loosely intertwined.
I = Impression (What was their first impression?)
Honestly, the first impression was a mix of 'troublesome women' and 'what a drag'. Shikamaru didn't expect much from someone he just bumped into as you were apologizing for not watching where you were going. He wasn't going to see you again most likely and went on his way to his napping spot. Little did he know.
J = Jealousy (Do they get jealous?)
Honestly, this is a tough one. Shikamaru trusts his S/o so much that getting jealous is just too much of a drag. He doesn't expect you to get jealous and he has no reason to be. Of course, if someone isn't backing off after you've told them too, he will step in. But it would take a lot to make Shikamaru jealous.
K = Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?)
This is no surprise but his kisses are lazy. Soft, maybe, chaste kisses. Though there are moments where Shikamaru will kiss them like he'll lose them or they might disappear from his life. Coming back from a mission, he will give his S/o a passionate kiss saying 'I'm home' or a goodbye kiss promising 'I'll come back.' The first kiss was all him. You were chatting away while he rests in your lap. It was a subconscious decision while he gazing up at you. The breeze making your hair float in the wind. His hand gently placed on your face, bringing you down till your lips descended upon his. His lips brushed yours, softly and delicately like you were going to fade away. It was long enough that he could feel the warmth of your skin, confirming you were here to stay.
L = Love (Who says ‘I love you’ first?)
It was you. You two would be cuddling on the couch, just lovely staring at him as he was napping. Shikamaru opens one eye to give you a questioning look. "Is something the matter?"
"Hm?" You gave him a simple smile. "No." He closes his eye. "I just thinking about how much I love you." It took him a moment before he jolts with reddened cheeks.
M = Memory (What’s their favorite memory together?)
Teaching you how to play shogi might be one of his favorites. He can't help but laugh as you were stressing about your next move, looking at him for confirmation that you moved a knight the right way. The way you pout every time he wins as you declare that you'll win the next round.
N – Nicknames (Things they call each other)
Yours: Princess, Troublesome, Brat
His: Handsome, Shika, My love, Sir (if we're getting spicy)
O – One (Tell us about the moment they realized they were with the one.)
When it hit him that his S/o was the one is after coming home from a mission. He had walked through the door, the air was a familiar smell of his mother's cooking. All Shikamaru wanted to do was go to sleep until he heard the familiar chime of his S/o laugh only to find his father teaching them how to out strategize him in shogi and his mother nagging them to finishes up since he was home. You look up from the board, smiling brightly. "Welcome home, Shika!"
P = Planning (How are dates planned out? What do they do? Where do they go?)
Dates with Shikamaru go two ways. Meaningful and romantic or casual and lazy. The first one is something that is planned, more an anniversary dinner or trip. It usually is an occasion in which he puts a lot of effort into it. The second one is how dates normally happen. Shika will take you down for a walk around the Nara forest or you talk him into going to a festival with you. This could also mean going out to eat only to have Ino and Choji joining you guys not realizing it was a date. Ino is mortified when she finds out.
Q = Quirks (Little things they do in the relationship)
Shikamaru will bring you flowers randomly when stopping by the Yamanaka's flower shop. He could be talking to Ino about a mission and stare at roses while thinking about you. Ino notices and gives them to him, insisting he doesn't have to pay. He checks up on his S/o once a day, if you guys haven't had time to spend together.
R = Rainy Day (What do they like to do on a rainy day?)
Sleep. He likes listening to the rain while drifting off. Once in awhile, he might read a book.
S – Soft (Something one of them did that turned the other into absolute mush)
One of the quickest ways to turn him to mush is letting him sleep on your lap while you comb through his hair, singing/humming to yourself subconsciously. He lives for the quiet moment with his S/o.
T = Talking (What do they like to talk about?)
Shikamaru is more of a listener than a talker. He loves to hear about your day when settling for the night. Hearing his S/o softly chatter about the adventures they had is soothing to him. Some nights, he talks about the future with you. Talking about where you wanted to travel too, when you want to marry, how many kids you would have or what kind of house would you wanna grow old with him in.
U = Unencumbered (What helps them relax?)
When he can be an old man in peace without anyone nagging at him. Watching his clouds and napping the day away. However, he isn't opposed to having a relaxing meal with his S/o and best friend.
V – Vanity (Something they’re proud of in themselves and their partner)
The ability to settle an argument calmly. Shikamaru isn't a fan of being yelled at or yelling. It's all just a drag and exhausting. He also likes to keep it between the two of you. What the disagreement is about isn't anyone else business. He's proud of the fact that you two can sit down and talk it out. If the argument gets too heated, you guys stop and separate to calm down before resuming.
W = Wedding (When, how, where do they propose?)
He did it casually. Shikamaru talks about it with you beforehand. Asking if you wanted to get married or wait another year. You knew he was going to propose, there wasn't a point in hiding it much to his mother and Ino's demise. He didn't tell them about it beforehand, not wanting to get nagged over it. Hearing you laugh about it while getting fitted for a ring was enough unless you wanted something different. The wedding on the other hand wouldn't be a courthouse wedding like everyone thought.
X = Xperience? (Experience in romance?)
Shikamaru has no experience previous to his relationship with his S/o. The man has only seen how Asuma and his dad act. He occasionally asks Ino for help.
Y = Yes (Do they ever think of getting married/proposing?)
Absolutely. You both don't want to rush into the marriage but it's a topic that is often discussed before bed.
Z = Zoo (Are animals apart of the present/future)
Shikamaru is indifferent about having a pet. If his S/o wants one and understands how much work it will be, they can go ahead. If you do get one, he has a soft spot for it. The deers in the forest are also something that will become a responsibility after marrying him.

H I S T O R Y
Adelaide Atkins Savoy is the daughter of Edward Atkins, an English salesman/conman and Ann Savoy, a French teacher that came from a (somewhat) noble family.
The Atkins family moved to Peachtree, Georgia from England when Addie was five years old after a business initiated by Edward, her father, went awry with the Savoys. Addie’s grandpa, who probably lost the most out of the business con but loved Addie to no end and wanted her grandkid to have a decent life, decided to fly the Atkin-Savoy family and bought them a wonderful, luxurious home on Addie’s name.
Her childhood was… an odd one, to say the least. Her parents still acted like they were part of the Savoy family while in Georgia (and with the housing/jobs Addie’s grandpa got them, there was no reason to doubt them) so they fit perfectly with Georgia’s finest, they were living a double life of sorts, socialités in debt who schemed their wealthiest friends without them knowing. Her parents promptly got Addie to work alongside them, either as a distraction or as an active asset in their plans and she couldn’t quite deny her skills to them alas, Addie did stuff she wasn’t proud of, illegal stuff she could get away with because no one suspected the little girl with the ponytails.
Edward Michael Atkins Savoy, Addie’s younger brother was born when Adelaide was around eleven. Ann lost interest on Eddie pretty quickly so Addie pretty much raised the kid as well as she could after she turned thirteen. The two formed an unbreakable bond very quickly.
She learned many skills during her time with her parents: pick locking, html, pickpocketing, boxing, sewing (which served the young woman well when her parents decided to stop buying their kids clothes and she started making them for the two of them instead), whatever her parents required of her and whatever she could learn to make sure her brother was well taken care of, she’d learn.
CHILD NEGLECT TW The worst instance of their parents neglecting both Addie and Eddie happened right after Eddie turned five. Their friends found out about how the couple had played them and the Atkins family lost all respect within the community, so they quickly started to go in debt with banks and strangers to try to live the life Ann and Edward were so used to. By this time, the matrimony had mostly forgotten their kids to the point where they stopped providing for them unless they needed Adelaide for some job, so it was all Addie’s responsibility to not only care for her brother but her parents somehow. She started working (an honest job) when she was fourteen and never truly stopped.
ARSON TW when Addie was seventeen, one year from graduating high school Edward and Ann made a decision: they needed money to pay off credit debts and alas, they needed to burn down the house the Savoys had bought for the family because they needed the insurance money. Addie started to storage as many stuff as she could when she was informed of what was going to happen (was guilt-tripped into staying silent) and the night her parents actually burnt the house down, Addie grabbed Eddie, everything she had gathered, a car a friend had lend to her and flee Peachtree, the two siblings didn’t look back. Adelaide didn’t finish High School.
After the two siblings escaped Peachtree, they situated in Arkansas for about a year, where Addie worked around two, three jobs in order to take care of herself and Eddie. No longer after a friend encouraged her to give her testimony (and all the proof she had gathered that backed up the claim that the fire had been premeditated) and she put her parents in jail for arson and child neglect, gaining her brother’s full custody and whatever money was left from the insurance payment.
The Atkins have lived in: Florida, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, New York and now New Jersey, always trying to make a home out of these places to no avail.
In one of these cities, Adelaide met a dark, mysterious man who she quickly fell in love with when she was no more than twenty-three years old and for the first time in her life, she opened her heart and mind, fully, to someone else other than her brother and close friends. However, not everything was a fairytale: it didn’t take long until Addie discovered the man she had fallen in love with was engaged to be married to another woman, and their relationship ended as abruptly as it started, leaving her completely shattered and heartbroken and thus, the Atkins siblings arrived to their final destination: Springhill because it was their next point in the map. they’ve lived in the city for a little over four years now.
After working as a waitress/bartender/cook/whatever she could get to make a living for her and Eddie, Addie got a letter from the Savoy family one day with the news that her grandfather had died and had left behind a trust fund for her, enough money for the two siblings to live off comfortably for the rest of their lives. However, the oldest decided to only use enough to buy a nice house for the two of them and to open a modest, lovely b&b, their major source of income. They have a nice life.
She and Eddy don’t really talk about their past a lot, unless any of the parts truly trust the person they tell their story to.
P E R S O N A L I T Y
Most days, Addie is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, the kind of girl who smiles at everyone she meets and greets strangers with a smile on the daily. She likes making people around her happy. She thrives when people around her shine.
However, she can be very closed off and go as far as to be very deceitful? I mean, she is sharp, even though people don’t think she is because they write her off as a “southern belle” type, but what most people don’t know is she can be cunning whenever she sets her mind on it, she learned from a very young age how to take advantage of everything she had to get what she had her mind settled on.
The one thing she cares the most about in the world is her brother, Eddie. The boy is pretty much her own and has been since the day he was born, she would stop at nothing to make sure he is fine and he is happy.
Her hobbies include painting and sculpting (which she makes some money off of), gardening (the Atkins sibling’s home is a glorified zen garden by now) and designing (she sometimes uses this skill to make clothes for selling to friends and acquaintances).
She has fleeting relationships that never take to anything serious (committing issues plus a ton of other issues let’s be honest), but it doesn’t mean she isn’t opposed to the idea. She simply believes it’s not in her destiny to find the one.
Loyal to no end, good god. It takes a lot for her to feel comfortable with someone to call them her friend but once she does, she is the most loyal friend. Also the mom friend, no matter how close you are. If it’s even a little bit chilly outside and she sees a stranger shivering she WILL give them her sweater, has medicine and candy on her at all times.
She can be quite impetuous and extremely curious to the verge of being noisy, but never in a malicious way, unless you mess with someone she cares about.
Whatever you throw her way, she’ll land on her feet.
P L O T S (*will be a wc on main)
Ex-boyfriend*: There could be many ways to go with this, many reasons why he never told her he was engaged in the first place or why he lead her to believe he was equally in love with her, but boy do we love the angst in this household and I would love to see what this connection could bring.
Best friend: Either the best friend who help the Atkins while the lived in Georgia (preferably) or a new friendship they’ve built in the years they’ve been in Springhill Addie would be nothing without this person. She trusts them more than her own shadow and would kill for them in a heartbeat.
Foreign cousins: Maybe someone seeking vengeance because of what Addie’s father did to the family? Maybe they don’t even know they are related, everyone loves having someone you can tell “well, now i know where the craziness comes from”.
Muse: Whenever she’s stressed or just… inspiration strikes, Addie calls this person to either use them as a model or a canvass. She has every line of their body engraved on her memory and she still finds them fascinating and could spend hours painting them. We can discuss what shape this plot could potentially take.
People she works for: Either her art or the clothes she makes, I’d love to write about any of those.
Hook-ups: past, present, ended in good terms, ended in bad terms, one-sided infatuations that couldn’t go over due to Addie’s commitment issues… I want it all!
Possible love interest who will make her want to commit for once and open her heart again??????
Friends, enemies, neighbors… just love my baby, she and Eddie will love you back!

Ah, welcome. It is always good to see those who wish to broaden their knowledge of the old stories.As to the Fae, it depends on what you’re looking for. You see, the Folk did not arise from a singular instance of Mythology, but from an amalgamation of many cultural traditions and stories. For Ireland we have the Tuatha de Danann and their battles against the Fir Bolg and eventually become the Aos Sidhe. There are the Welsh Tylwyth Teg who steal fair haired children from their beds and leave changelings in their place.The Scottish hold great pride in their Seelie and Unseelie courts, while the Scandinavian people whisper fearfully of Trolls, Gnomes, Shapeshifters, Wights, and Werewolves.Will you look to the Norse for stories of Light Elfs, Dwarfs, and Disir? Or to the Germanic Wichtlein who aided miners, and are one of the distant precursors to both the Goblins and Dwarfs we imagine today?Or would you prefer to move forward to the Victorian age where Fae were brought together to diminutive sprites and fanciful little magics that you might find in Peter Pan, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, or the Faerie Queene?It really depends on what you’re trying to find. The Lore of the Fae is vast and encompasses the traditions of many different European cultures, each unique and important in its own way. Series description: Your bestie Kim was a free-spirited person who wasn’t exactly concentrated on finding herself a partner. Yet one day, she recieves a phone number and this time, you didn’t want to keep the person on the other end hanging. And so, you text them, no matter who they are.
Part summary: Sydney realized who is the strange person texting her - not knowing she settled on a completely wrong person.

Sydney was almost blowing up with excitement when the strange person texted her that... It's a regular thing now. This was flirting... Right? She just flirted. Online. The only thing that would turn her away from continuing would be the person being a boy.
After a short ride with Dina, she knew that girls are... Her stick. Boys were fine, they were cool and all - but not a real relationship option for Sydney. For example, Stan was the coolest Sydney ever had known. And they were the greatest friends.
When it came to a relationship with Dina... Yeah. The relationship was a short, yet intense ride. And when they both realized, they decided they were better off as friends. The relationship they had now was better than the one before. And also, they had way more weird, funny selfies.
So, that was probably the only thing Sydney wanted from a relationship - for her significant other not to have a weenie. The other thing was to get along with their personalities.
When Stanley asked her, what kind of type she has, her head was empty. Syd wasn't able to say a single word regarding what she loves in girls. She liked something else on each of her small crushes. No-one was perfect, no-one was bad in particular. Every girl was different. And every girl was beautiful.
That was the deal. Every fucking girl was beautiful. Sydney was sometimes overwhelmed when she sat in the cafeteria and suddenly, all the beauty hit her face. Fast and hard, oh, yeah.
"The thing is... Drumrolls... I'm kinda texting with someone." - Syd told to Stan with both her fists shoved into the pockets of her jacket, walking around the small pavement in front of her school. Stan popped his eyes out with surprise in his face, motioning for her to continue. - "That's it. I don't know who they are, I don't know if it's a girl, a boy, or someone else... And I'm interested. The whole secret is out." - She finished while Stanley sat there with her knee over the other one, his chin supported with the back of his palm.
"On the other hand, before the break came, I heard you kinda have something going on?" - Sydney asked suggestively, sitting right next to him. - "I have something going on? Well, come on, tell me. I didn't know until now." - Stan smiled and bumped his shoulder to hers. - "Someone heard the conversation after the big exam. You know... The biology one. You and... What's her name again? Laura?" - Syd tried to guess. Yet when Stan figured what she's talking about, he started to laugh out loud.
"You mean Y/N? That cute girl who sits like two rows behind me? Oh, that's great." - Stanley proceeded to a bigger wave of laughter. He looked almost hysterical while doing it. - "I wish she would be interested. I wish, man." - "But everyone's saying they heard you proposing to her and her saying it back?" - "It was a damn joke. There's... Nothing going on between me and her. Unfortunately." - Stan snickered once more, having a breaking smile on her face.
"You'll have to tell everyone in the school then. Give it a week and you'll be married or worse... Pregnant." - "What's wrong with being pregnant?" - Syd's best friend asked back, cracking at the terror in her face. Yet before she could get into the great terrors in great detail, someone had joined their small group.
And when Sydney realized who it was, her breath hitched. It was Kim. The pansexual girl from her English class. Also known as one of the girls Sydney had a crush on. The one who she sent her number at the concert. Her number. The concert. A sudden realization suddenly flashed over Syd's head. Hoooly fuck. Holy fuck. Holy... Fuck.
Sydney took a long, deep breath and tried to keep herself composed. With all the gay panic she possessed, her gaze fell on Stanley. But Barber didn't pay her any attention.
"Hey, Stan, what's up?" - The incomer smiled at Stanley, performing some kind of a handshake. Sydney was watching every move the girl did, she watched the girl's smile, the posture... Everything. God. She was so hot. - "Pretty good, man, pretty good. How was the break?" - Barber asked back, performing his part of the supersecret handshake.
"We were out of the town, drinking with some friends." - The girl rolled her eyes, making the beanie on the top of her head look presentable. Sydney's grimace fell even deeper into the horror state, further realizing who Kim could be. - "You?" - "I was working in the local bowl alley, making sure everyone had everything they needed." - "You did a bad fucking job." - Kim responded, having Stan's mouth hanging open. - "I sold you at least seven gs just for the damn four-day break. What did you guys do to it, you fed it to the cows?" - Stan wiggled his eyebrows once more, finally picking up his stuff to get ready for the school day starting soon.
Sydney followed a couple of friends closely, still having that gay panic inside of her. Should she come forward? Should she just ask? Should she go for it? No, she shouldn't. No. No, she had to do it. Maybe. No, it was bullshit. But suddenly, she heard herself saying...
"Did you like the clouds on Monday?" - Syd got out of herself suddenly, putting the conversation flow between Stan and Kim on hold. The girl turned at Sydney with a weird emotion in her face. - "What did you say?" - "I asked if... If you... Liked the clouds on Monday. They were pink... And blue... And..."
"I hadn't even notice, to be honest. I must've missed a great fucking view." - Kim answered and took the strap of her backpack to her palm. Just as the panic and revelation came in, the same way if suddenly left her body. So... Kim wasn't the one texting her. If she would be the one, she'd surely know about the sky. Or maybe she was drunk as fuck. That was probably that.
As the school day progressed on, she was still in something similar to a trance. It was kind of a miracle that there existed the slightest chance of Kimberly being the girl texting her. And although her ego almost shot through the roof the Brownsville, there was something telling her... This can't be. It was too good to be true.
For real - she was as wrong as she could be. Kimberly was nowhere near to be the strange person texting her. Why? She forced the number to someone else in the first place, didn't she? And the girl to who she was texting was sitting in the cafeteria with her forehead forced to the desk of the table as she almost gave up on her highschool studies once again. - "I can't do this Kim." - "You can. You're just too much of a dingus to know that." - Your best friend mumbled through her teeth as she played with her mashed potatoes. - "Now. My life is literally over. I shall pass now." - "It's just PE, Y/N, Jesus. Stop whining." - "I can tell teached I have period." - Your eyes widened with excitement. Suddenly, you felt the life passing through you. - "No, you did that last week, dingus." - Kimberly mouthed and looked at you dying on the table again.
At that moment, Brock and Aaron finally joined the table - the boy looked at you laying on the table with real tears in your eyes. Aaron being your best buddy, he already knew what was going on - Brock was a bit scared by the way you looked. At least until Aaron asked the question. - "It's PE day again?" - The quarterback sighed as he watched your sad face. - "You are an athlete, idiot, you wouldn't get what I'm going through." - At that, both Kim and Aaron exchanged a quick glance over the full plates of food.
No matter how hard you tried to riot against it, the PE was still coming. Your mind couldn't make the whole class simply disappear - that would be fucking cool if you could do that, though. As usual, you ran so much that you almost puked out your lungs, your limbs almost fell down from your body and your head was spinning heavily. And Kim did give you the piss for that, naturally. When this torture was over finally, you were allowed to go home. Jesus, did you take this grace with a big smile on your face? You were happy. Genuienly happy. Possibly no-one in the whole class was so much anti-PE as you were.
For the first time in the last few weeks, you didn't mind being at home just to study. This time, you could text with the friend on the other side of the screen. This filled you with excitement - just to know what are they like. Sure, there was this pressure of realization that one day, you'll be very interested in who they actually were. Yet for now, it was as innocent as it gets.
All you texted about was your day at school - further proving that you have the same teachers, you are going to the same school and that you possibly have some classes together. Just when you were about to end the whole conversation, since it got fairly late and it was already late along with you being tired beyond physically possible. Yet at the moment you realized that someone's standing in your garden, blasting their flashlight into your damn window. Slowly, you walked to the window to take a good look at the person. It wasn't Kim or Aaron, at least you thought so, because they would just text to you bring your fat ass outside because they want to talk with you.
After quite a moment, you realized it's Stanley fucking Barber standing in there - and most noticeably, he was barefooted. Quickly, you glanced over the phone screen, typing a quick text before putting on a sweatshirt. - "What the hell are you doing here? And who told you where I live?" - You whisper-shouted after you managed to manouvre through the quiet and dark house. Your parents were already asleep. And since it was eleven in the evening, you should be asleep too. But instead of that, you were walking through your garden to a barefooted fool standing there. - "I wanted to talk to you, apologize and..." - He quickly whipped a joint out of his shirt. - "I brought you something to help you forgiving me." - This didn't make any sense. For what was he apologizing? Sure, the joint caught your eye, but this was a nonsense.
"Let's move to the gazebo in the park. I don't want our garden smelling like we grow weed here." - You stated swiftly and led Stan out of your garden. - "But how do you know where I live? This is fucking creepy, Barber." - It was getting a bit calmer inside of you. Finally, you weren't near your house with a barefoot weed dealer - so your parents couldn't see something they shouldn't see. - "I asked your friend, that tall football boy. I explained what's going on and it seems that he also already knew about what happened." - Stan looked at you with a sweet smile.
"I've heard that I'm dating you, yeah. Everyone heard about this." - There was nothing true about you liking Stanley or you and him dating. But it was just a rumour going between the people, maybe it had some post on your school's social media for what you could know. You knew that this story will be gone in a month or so. After the Christmas holiday, there will be at least one girl who will be proclaimed a whore or worse, she'd be pregnant. This was just a short-timed story. - "It's kinda impossible to miss. But I don't care." - "I also... Don't care." - Stan shrugged his shoulders, looking at you intensely. For a moment, he got so close that you felt the need to move away for a bit. - "Yeah. That's your brand, ain't it? You are the mister of zero fucks. Or so I've heard."
Finally, the gazebo was in front of you - so you both took a position that was comfortable for both of you and then, you watched Stanley lighting up the joint. Your phone buzzed inside your pocket, catching the boy's stare. - "Who's that? A secret lover?" - The boy bit his lower lip as he leaned closer to you, clearly quite meaning the question even through his playful tone. - "I wish. It's probably Kim telling me about another of her crushes." - Quickly, you glanced over the screen and even if you realized that it's the girl you've been texting with, you tried to roll your eyes. Stan gave you the joint and you nodded before taking in a lot of smoke inside your lungs, keeping it in.
"I didn't know anyone would hear that... You know... The biology thing." - Stan started to talk about another thing once more. It was possibly the first time that you've seen the mister of zero fucks giving some form of a fuck. - "I told you Stan. Don't think about it. It's just a fucking rumor." - With this, you put the joint back to Stan's hand. There was a long silence - and when you looked at Stanley, seeing the boy watching you back, you understood what that was about. Your expression changed drastically - your mouth opened just as much as your eyes. Stanley was bringing up something more than a rumor. Maybe expecting to come out as more than a rumor from this gazebo night.
"Stan... No. No. No." - It was almost funny, the way you shook your head at the speed of light. You had about two minutes before the joint kicks on - so this friendzoning had to happen quickly and emotionlessly. - "Don't take this seriously, Stan, you're a good guy... But I'm fresh after break-up and even though it seems that I like you, it's just your view of the situation. It's quite literally inside your head, okay? We're barely friends... So... Let's keep it on barely friends level, yea?" - This rant was so quick that Stan almost didn't catch a single word. And when it was over, he started to laugh out loud; he was laughing like a psycho. - "I was just curious. Now I know and I'll keep it cool, come on, sit down. You're tripping me out, man." - Once again, Stanley gave you back the joint, nodding at you. With a shy smile, you accepted it once again and sit the fuck down so you wouldn't trip Stanley out anymore.
That night, you both got super fucking high and had a great time, because Stanley Barber was such a cool dude. And it was a privilege to have him as your friend.

Thoughts on episode 24 in no particular order
1. I LOVED that circling shot as kazuma is confronting Kyo . UGh. The music, the acting, camera angles, the everything. You could really feel the tension in the air.
2. THE TRANSFORMATION SCENE bRUh it was so much more intense this time around. Absolutely phenomenal . The shot of Kyo’s head half transformation had me S H O O K. And seeing him cry as he screamed in pain broke my heart, man.
3. The character design for his true form was much better as well. I felt it looked much scarier . Also !orange ! eyes!
4. I feel like we saw a much more vulnerable Kyo this time . The way he was talking about how he couldn’t lose more people and how tired he was of all the pain Like oh my god. You can really feel just how broken,damaged and emotionally drained he is.
5. J E R R Y J E W E L. MY GUy my DUde. He did such an amazing job. Every line really packed a punch. I was really impressed. Laura also was just amazing!! 👌🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️
6. I love how strong tohru was this time. She wasn’t some damsel in distress. Yes she was scared, yes it was hard but our girl came through. She knew if she turned her back on him he wasn’t coming back and she was NOT having that. She was bringing her man back no mater what. Best part? No one had to encourage her. She did it on her own because she loves him and can’t imagine a life without him. She’s seen the good the bad the ugly but she still wanted to stay and she was determined.
7. The romantic subtext was STronG . Way more then the original anime. They are such OTP I CANNOT
8. Small detail but Idk I liked seeing kagura overhear the convo between shigure and kazuma. Also yuki’s smile when greeting kazuma. My rat son is so beautiful ;u;
9. Kagura closing the blinds 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 unlike the original it really gives us a glimpse into their relationships character arc. Sure she cares for him but Her intense Romantic love is fake. Unlike tohru kagura can’t stand to see him in his true form. She doesn’t want to face it.
10. Everyone stayed the fuck home!! This is Kyo and tohru’s moment stay away! 😂 although..listen I’m glad it didn’t happen cause it was NOT yuki’s place to be there. But I always low key really liked the “is that all we do? Run away? I don’t wanna do it anymore!” Line In the og. And just like Kyo thrashing Yuki around 😂
11. kazuma is such an A++ dad. I’m so happy Kyo through all the suffering he’s faced at least had a dad that loved and cared for him so much. Kyo would have been lost without him.

14. The part were little Kyo was yelling at his bio dad was like so intense. And having everyone tell him his mom’s suicide was his fault, like that’s horrific for anyone but can you imagine the added suffering that has to cause a child?
15. The way they changed were the cats are kept. LIKE ITS A LITERAL CAGE IN A BASEMENT YA’LL. Bitch boy akito really wants to make our boy live his life in that thing. Can you imagine Kyo in that? Breaks my heart

17. HE JUST YEETED HER IN THE WATER??? Like I was shook 😂 lol I was watching the episode with my mom and we both just gasped and looked at Each other like oh my GOd I know he scratched her in the manga so I was prepared for that but that really took me by surprise.

19. I think the only only thing I like a little more in the originally anime was the “She saw me, it’s all over now, there’s no hope” line. The way it was delivered in the og anime you could really feel the hopelessness he felt so much more. And having him desperately run instead of jumping through the trees feels more impactful as well. Also kind I find this shot looks a little weird? The anatomy a little wonky? Idk
20. You know when I first watched the episode I didn’t feel as impacted as I thought I was. It felt like so fast. However I think that because I watched the og episodes directly before it that messed with my judgment. After rewatching it like nah it hit hard. It’s done right and I love It
21. Like many of you Im a fruba veteran. I have waited 10 years to see this story done right. And The reboot certainly hasn’t let me down. I loved this episode. The bond tohru And Kyo share is so heart warming. I’m so happy to finally see this arc done right. I watched this series when I was 12 years old and now I’m 21 and I’m in love with it all over again. This is just the beginning I can’t wait to see the rest of the story.

Sorting My Favorite Fictional Characters into Hogwarts Houses (Or, I play sorting hat)

Bakugo: Slytherin. I mean, have you seen this guy? He screams Ambition and Arrogance, and cunning, remember first combat training?
Yayurozu: Ravenclaw. Best girl is smart af and she values herself for it. Enough said.
Jiro: Slytherin. Sometimes rude, but she’s confident, and she isn’t afraid to use ‘dirty tricks’ to finish her mission.
Kirishima: Gryffindor, through and through. He wants to be brave and he hides his anxiety behind showmanship, which is the most Gryffindor thing ever.
Hawks (I love him, leave me aloneeeee): Hufflepuff. You guys might say Slytherin, but everything he did was out of loyalty, from saving those people from the bus crash to infiltrating the League of Villains for the government. And, he’s just so likeable. You’d never think twice about him, they way you never think twice about how a cute badger has big-ass claws.

Jason Todd: Slytherin. This man radiates goal driven energy, and he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty for his revenge. Plus, green eyes.
Damian Wayne: Also Slytherin. He’s proud, almost arrogant, but also cunning and ambitious to be like his father.
Harley Quinn: Hufflepuff. She’s loyal to the end and tends to find it difficult to say no, which are very Hufflepuff traits.
Raven: Ravenclaw. Need I explain?
Bruce Wayne: Slytherin, again. Does this run in the family? The guy is ambitious, clever, and yes, manipulative at times.
Catrina Kyle: Gryffindor. She’s proud of who she is and she’s extremely competitive, along with brave, and she hates lying.
Marvel
Natasha Romanoff: Ravenclaw. This one was hard, but she values information over ambition, I think, and she’s incredibly hardworking, as many Ravenclaw’s are.
Steve Rogers: Slytherin. Dude lied on federal papers to achieve his goal to getting into the army, you really think he’s gonna be a Gryffindor or something? smh.
Bucky Barnes: Hufflepuff. Loyal, hardworking, and a great finder. Yeet.
Peter Parker: Gryffindor. Poor baby just wants to be a hero, and will sacrifice anything to save those he cares about.
Tony Stark: Slytherin. He, like Bakugo and Jason, screams confident asshole with goals.
Logan Howlette: Gryffindor. He does things because, well, Fuck it, let’s do this.
X-23/ Laura Kinney: Slytherin. She practically emotionally manipulates Logan all the way into Canada. If that doesn’t scream Slytherin, I don’t know what does.
Fairy Tail
Wendy: Hufflepuff. Loyal, caring, and true, I think this puts her solidly in this house.
Erza: Gryffindor. She would sacrifice anything for her guildmates, and she fights on no matter what.
