This one's pretty off topic but Respite on the Spitalfields means a lot to me. I've been listening to this song in a airplane aftet Meet and Greet with Papa IV in London. It was here when I needed it the most, which was quiet a many times during this year.

It's my comfort song with a wonderful lyrics and i wish it received more love just like Darkness at heart of my Love for example did.

The equally painful reality of looking at pictures of myself pre transition and remembering exactly how terrible i felt vs having almost no evidence of my existence ages 12-16 because i wouldnt let anyone take any pictures of me and i destroyed pretty much any i could get my hands on

Robot characters who are given names like SL-308-62 but instead of their human friend going Well let's call you Sally for short, they instead ask the other if they Like their current name.

"Do you like your serial number?" they ask. "Yes, quite. It reminds me of who I am" the robot replies. "I have heard others like me go by different names after some time, and maybe one day I'll choose one for myself, too. But right now that is my full name, yes" they continue.

Because it's not your decision to make whether or not the robot will receive a new name. It should be theirs only. What's the difference? One is more complex and the other is simplified. They were both given by strangers instead of themselves.

i dont know who needs to hear this but you do not need to go on a diet. you do not need to lose weight as a new year revolution. you do not need to feel shame for gaining any weight over the holidays and for enjoying yourself and the food. you do not need to tolerate diet talk after setting a boundary and if someone cant respect that then theyre being the asshole. you already have a summer body. you already are hot. theres no moral failure or shame in being fat
