Riddle Rosehearts

He wants red and white. It works well with his dorm uniform and it reminds him of the Queen of Hearts! He just wants the classic round shaped nails since long nails could make it hard to do his daily activities. But he actually kinda wants long nails.

As you do his nails, he’s staring at you. He doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do. He doesn’t wanna distract you so he just stares at you.

“Oh wow, they’re cuter than I remember…”

He gets a random craving for sweets so immediately when you’re done he wants to have a tea party. He’s really impressed actually. It’s really pretty.

He randomly starts staring at his nails and smiles at the thought of you. But people think it’s a little weird that he began smiling for no reason.

“Is Riddle okay??”

“Why is he smiling?”

Ruggie Bucchi

Why would he get his nails painted? He’s always doing something with his hands, it’s gonna get ruined immediately.

But alas, you don’t care and sit him down. He picks out a dark brown and a cream color. He doesn’t really care what design or shape so you get some creative freedom.

He keeps moving while wailing “it feels weird!” He gets used to it after a while and only does it to annoy you. You have a death grip on his wrist so you can actually get the job done.

He always asking “are you done yet??” just to annoy you.

After you’re done, he’s actually kinda satisfied.

But the next week his nails are already ruined! He probably bites his nails and he most likely accidentally ate the nail polish.

He tried to save it though, but Leona wasn’t having any of that.

“Damn, please? Look I got my nails down I don’t wanna get them ruined.”

“I don’t care get me my food.”

Now you sit him down again and have to redo it.

Floyd Leech

He’s very happy to get his nails painted. He wants a different color on every finger and it’s doable but just kinda funny. He also asks for stiletto nails He’s smiling the whole entire time which is very unnerving.

He randomly laughs as you paint it in.

“What’s wrong?”

“Heh sorry it felt funny!”

He tells you the story of when Azul sprayed ink when the twins played a prank on him as little children. Apparently it felt similar as getting your nails painted, according to him at least.

Hes really happy with the end result. It probably ended up looking a little wack because he kept moving.

He’s glad nail polish to waterproof. It lasts a long time since his nails don’t seem to grow very fast (him being an eel and stuff).

Okay but he would accidentally chip it and he would cry. He would forget his long nails and chip it while putting on his gloves.

Jade Leech

He doesn’t see why not? He’s puts his hand out expectantly. You can pick out the color but he wants squoval nails since long nails seem hard to function in.

He keeps a good conversation with you. It’s easier to have a conversation with him when he’s not staring at you with a scary grin.

He enjoyed it more than expected. He compliments your work and gives you a very charming smile.

He takes very good care of his nails and it lasts for a while, like Floyd’s. He wouldn’t chip it unlike Floyd. It feels oddly nice to have painted nails.

Azul Ashengrotto

It’s a bit scary. He thinks that nails make it hard to do paper work so he wants short nails. The tweels would pick the colors and it ends up being a nice blue, the color of their earrings.

Azul tries to not move but it feels weird. He distracts himself by doing paper work until you start working on his right hand, his dominant hand. So he talks to you.

He’s impressed but still sorta embarrassed about it. He wears his gloves more often but then would panic if he saw it was messed up in any way.

Jamil Viper

He doesn’t really want to but it wouldn’t be the worst thing. He agrees and he likes how happy you seem. Color doesn’t matter much to him unless it’s tacky and he wants to keep his nails short. Long nails would make his life much more difficult.

Kalim picks the color and it’s the color of the Scarabia gem. He’s very quiet which makes it a bit awkward. It’s oddly relaxing for him. Enough he could fall asleep but he doesn’t.

When it’s finished, Kalim is staring really hard. Kalim runs out and gets out some jewelry and tells him to put it on. Jamil refuses but eventually you grab it and put it on for him.

Just as expected, it looks even better. Jamil keeps it on because he knows he’ll get pestered to put it back on by both you and Kalim.

He might accidentally chip the nail polish while doing dishes and just peel it off.

Kalim Al Asim

Yay! He’s so excited. He already knows what he wants. Almond nails with blue and red, like the feather on his dorm uniform!

He apologizes for moving around too much but it tickets. He kinda sits between your legs facing away from you. Apparently that’s not how he’s supposed to sit but it doesn’t matter since you still get the job done.

He’s so happy he’s jumping with joy. He probably would try to pay you for your work.

He takes extra good care of his nails. I don’t think it would last that long because he’s clumsy. He gets really sad and guilty when it gets ruined.

Silver

Sure? Lilia and Malleus have black nails, anyway. He’s not sure what color he should choose so he asks you. Ultimately, he gets a color similar to his eyes. You figure that you could just use his natural nail shape.

He was expecting to do it sitting up but you tell him to lay down on your lap under a tree. He complies and eventually he falls asleep just as expected.

You get a bit distracted because you see animals approaching but as soon as you raise your head they started scurrying away.

You wake him up when you’re done and he feels bad for falling asleep. Well the job was already done.

Lilia takes notice of his nails. He’s a bit surprised but it’s adorable. Now he wants a nail appointment.

Soft, well moisturized. If they aren’t you know he’s going through it especially bad. Nails are kept short and cuticles are well maintained too. No hangnails or biting here. Nail beds somewhere between round and square (squoval?) knuckles only slightly thicker than the rest of his fingers, that little concave bit you get between thumb and wrist is perfect on him.

Gojo

Thin, long fingers. Well maintained hands like Nanami, but because he actually goes to get his nails done - complete with a treatment base coat on the nails (sometimes shiny) and a hand massage. Yes, he turns his infinity off for the older woman who does his nails and yes he trusts her completely. Oval nail beds, elegant wrists, knuckles not especially pronounced.

Sukuna

BIG hands, BIG knuckles, square nail beds. Heian era polish was transparent, made of waxes and plant dyes, but modern era polish is black or a blackened purple. Nails go just past his fingertips. Knuckles are slightly darker than the rest of his hands. Thick wrists with prominent bones, likewise for that little part where thumb meets wrist. The backs of his hands look surprisingly smooth, but if his hands are in fists or gripping something his tendons are very pronounced.

Ijichi

Thin fingers, thin wrists, oval nail beds, nails either chopped incredibly short or going slightly past the tips of his fingers. Cuticles chewed to shit. Veiny hands with a slightly pink hue on his knuckles. They’re soft, though sometimes clammy when he’s stressed or nervous.

What manicure I would give the demon brothers

Lucifer: I would leave his nails at their current length, which is probably short and very clean since he’s probably very well groomed, and give him French tips! Idk it just feels very him,, it’s simple and clean. He also probably wouldn’t want to wait for it to dry and want it to last so def gel

Mammon: He definitely has long nails so I would shape them into squares. I’m giving him a set of acrylics because he only deserves the best and it’s a little stereotypical but I’d give him a glittery gold or yellow with different black designs. Those mostly black nails with a thin strip of a different color are my favorites

Levi: He would probably be embarrassed so basic polish for him, whatever length he has is good because he also seems like he would be scared of fake nails. I would probably give him a baby blue and then spray it with the quick dry spray so he can be in and out as quick as possible

Satan: Nothing too long otherwise it might interfere with reading but nothing too short because long nails are the best for giving pets scratches! Also nothing too sharp because they rip paper (I speak from experience). I would give him squoval shape, gel nails with very dark green cat eyes. I used to be obsessed with cat eyes when I was younger and they look best in dark green or black so it’s meant to be

Asmo: His nails would be so fun to do! Nail extensions all the way and he would definitely agree to lipstick shape. He’s also very conscious about his self care though, so I would give him dip since it’s much better for your nails than the other methods. I saw this gorgeous set of lilac and beige nails with this satin finish and thought of him, so definitely that. Definitely embellishments in a color like silver or gray.

Beel: Let’s be so fucking fr rn he would not care whatsoever as long as they don’t get in the way of working out. He’s giving dark orange though so dark orange it is. Gel is the most practical so I’d give him that too

Belphie: He also would not care and you could probably spend forever doing them because he would be asleep then entire time. I would give him dip too because it’s easiest to work with and would therefore be easiest on a sleeping person. I would give him a dark midnight blue color with silver sparkles as a top coat, and maybe even add a little moon embellishment on one of the nails

Do your long nails help with avoiding clipping? My fingernails are supershort and if I paint them it clips a few days later, but I probably touch a lot more with them.

I do think they chipped more when I wore my nails short!!! I also thought they chipped more often when I filed them into squovals or square tips. that said, another thing that helps keep the paint from chipping is that I dehydrate my nail plate w acetone before applying my mani, and I usually use some kind of bonder base / long-lasting base before I paint the full mani!

#I used to not use a base coat and I'll say it helps dramatically #so with that and with removing all the oils from the nail plate I find that chipping doesn't really occur much #when my mani starts dying it's usually bc it wants to lift a little on the sides or at my cuticle first #rather than chipping at the tips #sergle answers #nailposting

Niélë used to be lively and happy - her most precious memory is meeting Nerdanel, she was the happiest then and slowly fell in love with the daughter of Mahtan too.

She never liked Fëanor - or how close he was trying to get to Nerdanel.

But just as when she was about to confess her feelings, Fëanor had won Nerdanel’s heart - it had completely shattered her, especially when they decided to get married at their young age. Niélë had to watch Nerdenel get married and never be able to have her heart - as elves only loved once. Nienna tried her best to comfort her, but what can soothe a broken heart?

Niélë is devasted and hates Fëanor completely when he takes the oath with their sons- leaving Nerdanel heartbroken and left behind – she tries to comfort her while keeping her feelings hidden – she never reveals not wanting to burden her. Plus – since elves only love once, so Niélë will never have her chance. . .

Nicknames: Mír/Míre (as Finwë affectionately called her).

Visual Age: 27

Height: 7’2

Hair Style: Braided into intricate and exquisite patterns on the top of her head to keep away from her face.

Weapons: Sword fighting - she was definitely alive during the time Finwë led the Ñoldor to Valinor so I hc it is something she excels in.

Magical Ability: Perhaps none - but I hc her as becoming a disciple to Vaire (as she probably cannot become a maia), she is able to see a little into the future and weave it into tapestries (only from the line of Finwë), but obviously not as much as Vaire.

Hands: small, thin lithe fingers, squoval nails.

Types of Clothes: Gowns/dresses mostly made of velvet and unique colors like turquoise. Flowy dresses that are made to easy to move in and sat for her to sew.

How do they wear their clothes: Neatly and very put together - not a single thread out of place.

What are their feet like: Clean slippers or soft boots, rarely ever barefoot.

Mannerisms: Míriel is an expert at hiding her emotions - however she does give a proud smile and give sharp nods a lot once acquainted. She is a kind person with tough love, her affections are carried mostly through her actions and acts of service. After becoming a disciple sometimes she likes to speak in riddles.

Important/Usual Accessories: She wears classy hairpin sticks most of the time.

Alignment: Lawful Good

Occupation: Disciple of Vaire.

Likes: Art, reading, sewing, embroidery

Dislikes: Arguing, war, swords - ever though she has good swordsmanship, she hates having to use it.

Favorite Colors: Any soft, unique and pastel colors. Her favorite turquoise because it is a color unique as her hair to the elves.

Literature: She likes to read a variety of genres - she loves mysteries the most, she is not able to tell what is coming in books so loves reading a lot and make up her theories.

Hobbies: sewing, reading.

PERSONALITY:

Personal Triggers: Weapons, abuse and wrongs in her family (yes, of course she considers Indis family).

What words or phrases do they over use: “By my lady Vairë” or “There is nothing I can do. . .only weave it.”

Are they more optimistic or pessimistic: Optimistic in Valinor, pessimistic in the Halls of Mandos at first but grew optimistic again when she realized she could weave the the deeds of her family. But pessimistic again when Fëanáro creates and commits to the oath and all events that followed - she was in depression for a long time until her sons and grandchildren regretted and served their punishments.

Love Language: Acts of service, quality time and physical touch.

Strongest Character Trait: Her abilities as a weaver and the expertness to hid her emotions.

Weakest Character Trait: Can be stubborn sometimes - but in her own calm way without having to raise her voice.

Greatest Fear: Morgoth winning - and Fëanáro at one stage.

Overrated Virtue: Temperance and solemnity

If they could change one thing about themselves: To be able to do something when she weaves in a misfortune in the line of Finwë - she is only just a weaver and cannot prevent fate, but she wishes to change it or fix it.

EXTRA NOTES:

Later when Míriel becomes the handmaid of Vairë — they're bonding over the art of sowing — and became very close friends. Neither talk much; small smiles shared — but sometimes becomes each others words of advise and wisdom. Míriel then becomes the disciple of Vairë.

Míriel would be in two minds about seeing – heartbroken seeing her little flame has become someone as dangerous as Morgoth, that would scare her. She might refuse to meet him a few times as first – but would him from afar without him knowing.

Then, seeing how he acts in the halls of Mandos and if he regrets his actions and ready take his punishments, then she would be more willing to see and talk to him. Definitely a few awkward meetings at first – she would not know what to say and probably maintain a distance as much as it hurts her too. Then, slowly warm up go him seeing him grieve for his own sons.
