I’ve seen people say that they didn’t like Ares in the show because he wasn’t “intimidating enough” or “scary.” Personally, I think Adam Copeland was a great choice.
This man is a 4-time WWE Champion, a 7-time World Heavyweight Champion, and a Triple Crown Champion. He is an award winning pro-wrestler, inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. This man knows violence. The idea of just standing next to him is intimidating.
His Ares is one who’s cocky and smug and laughs at the very idea of war. He treats conflict like a game because, to him, it is. He sees death and destruction as entertainment and he smiles like he’d sleep better after killing you.
Ares doesn’t need to be all gruff and serious in order to be intimidating, just the potential of danger of enough. You can tell by looking at him that, if he wants to be scary, he’ll be scary.
Adam Copeland is a fantastic Ares.

Hello! I have been admiring your lovely weaving for a while now, it’s all truly stunning! On your most recent post about dish towels, your tags about how much nicer they are intrigued me, I was wondering what you make them out of?
I would assume cotton, but I’ve always had issues with how not nice it is when I knit dishcloths with it. Like, it gets kinda rough and hard almost, and also the color fades really, really fast. Tho I have only ever used Lily cotton, so it might just be that brand?
Thank you so much!! It's all so much fun, and I love sharing it (i'm so sorry this took so long to reply to,,,, I literally forgot about ask boxes on this hellsite MY BAD)
All my dishtowels are made from 8/2 cotton that I get from the Eugene Textile Center online. And I know exactly which cotton you are referencing here, I've used it in the past and had the same issues with texture and color you mention. I think part of the problem with that brand is the level of twist and how mass produced it is, a lot of the quality on batches of it have gone wayyyyy down these past few years.
My favorite thing about the Maurice Brassard 8/2 cotton is that not only does the color stay super well, after weaving and finishing, with every time it gets washed and dried it only gets softer and more absorbent which I love. My mother has been abusing a set I made her for about a year now and they have held up beautifully. And I'm talking just tossing these towels in general loads of laundry, machine washer and dryer. They hold up So Well.

why craig are take over world
essay by me (craig)
As much as Craig may seem like a simple doodle of a cat, his potential for world domination should not be underestimated. Despite his crude appearance, Craig embodies the essence of adaptability and resilience, traits that are essential for any aspiring ruler.
Firstly, Craig's simplicity works to his advantage. Underestimation is a powerful tool in warfare, and many would dismiss Craig as inconsequential. However, this oversight allows Craig to operate in the shadows, biding his time until the perfect moment to strike.
Secondly, Craig's lack of defined features makes him a versatile symbol. He can represent anything from innocence to cunning, depending on the narrative spun around him. This ambiguity allows Craig to appeal to a wide range of followers, from disillusioned citizens seeking change to opportunistic power-seekers.
Thirdly, Craig's handwritten signature adds a personal touch to his endeavors. In a world increasingly dominated by digital signatures and impersonal interactions, Craig's handwritten mark harkens back to a simpler time, fostering a sense of nostalgia and authenticity among his followers.
In conclusion, Craig may appear unassuming at first glance, but beneath his simplistic exterior lies the potential for world domination. Through adaptability, versatility, and a personal touch, Craig has the tools necessary to rally followers and reshape the world in his image. Beware the power of Craig, for his ascent to global dominance may be closer than we think.

Wonderful Things That May or May Not Be Wonderful!!! Fireballs have been part of the Mario brand since they were bouncing around sewers in the arcades. Then, Super Mario Bros. gave the brothers a flower that let them shoot some themselves and the rest is history. But what about ice balls? How do they factor into the Mario universe? Well, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time debuted them to the franchise and Super Mario Galaxy put them in a platformer but in the latter instance, it was used to instantly freeze and skate across water and lava. It wasn’t until 2009’s New Super Mario Bros. that a more true to its roots Ice Flower got its time to shine in a traditional Mario platformer. Unlike the Fire Flower’s projectiles which just destroy enemies, the Ice Flower freezes them in a block of ice. This works in tandem with NSMB Wii’s new ability to pick up unwilling parties and you now have a big old chunk of frozen water to chuck. A chunk that can be used as a platform to reach higher areas, get rid of enemies jumping and fireballs just can’t and even be ridden on top of. It all equates to a power-up that trades simplicity for versatility without sacrificing power. That would be the long and short of it…except for Nintendo introducing a superior version of the same power-up in the same game: The Penguin Suit. Has the same ice ball throwing properties as the Ice Flower but adds in three other abilities to homage its animal inspiration: increase traction on slippery surfaces, a destructive belly slide and the ability to swim in all directions. All things that turn some of the most treacherous terrain in Mario games into something more manageable and more fun. Still,  whether you pick the premium, dollar store, RPG super move or lord and savior variant of this frigid flower, one thing is crystal clear: the Ice Flower is #wonderful! P.S. Oh, there is one more thing the Ice Flower/Penguin Suit can do in New Super Mario Bros. Wii: get you infinite coins! Don’t believe me? Check out this video. I even pulled it off with my friend’s back in the day.

P.S.S. Thank you so much, Charles Martinet for voicing Mario and the rest of his bros. in all of these games since Mario Teaches Typing. You have brought so much joy into so many people’s lives with your expressive and jubilant performances. A “Wahoo”, an “Oh yeah” and a “Waluigi Time!” to you, good sir.

Why hasn’t Misha won an Emmy? The man literally puts his whole soul into everything he plays. Even if the writing sucks. He endured Jared’s abuse for 12 YEARS. GIVE HIM AN EMMY OR SOMETHING!

“Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
