This legacy challenge, as of right now, uses multiple packs.

I don’t want any control over your gameplay and/or story. I want you to make this all your own, so if you want to use cheats or anything like that go right ahead. If you want to start with 0 simoleons to make it even more challenging, do what your heart desires. Any traits, aspirations, careers, etc you think could be something else, use that instead. sims 4 crystal legacy challenge

hello! here is a legacy challenge i created while playing the Garden Legacy challenge. i didn’t want to finish on my tenth gen and decided to create my own challenge, based on crystals. this challenge can be continued from a previous save or started in a new one! i also tried to implement base game options for those who don’t own all the packs! some gens do need packs but if you don’t have them, they may be skipped.

general rules ❥ you do not have to live on the same lot for all 10 generations if you wish. ❥ mods and cc are allowed! ❥ no money cheats ! ❥ i’ve assigned a colour to each gen so you may play with berry sims if you wish! ❥ i’ve decided that in each generation you may roll for offspring (rolling a dice or using a random number generator to decide how many children) unless stated otherwise in the rules.

Reclaimed Roots, A Legacy Challenge.

One fateful day, as you flip the pages in the local newspaper, your eyes fall upon an advertisement for an affordable farm on the outskirts of town. This farm had fallen into disrepair, abandoned and forgotten by its previous owners, who had inherited the farm but chose to not take care of it. Despite its rundown state, a flicker of hope ignited within your heart. Your dream of owning a small farm to raise your future family may become a reality!

You call the owner’s of the property and they start asking for more money. This went from being an affordable farm to a pricey one! You decide to take a leap of faith and go for it. Packing your belongings immediately and setting out for the neglected farms of your dream. When you arrive, you see just how neglected the farm truly is. You find a weathered farmhouse, its paint peeling and windows cracked, surrounded by overgrown fields and rotten fences. But you see beauty hidden underneath it all.

You see a vision of what this farm could be. A fresh coat of paint, rescued animals, beautiful old oak trees flourishing, children riding their bikes and fishing in the pound. This is where you want your new life you begin.

Required Packs: For Gameplay: Cottage Living, Cats and Dogs, and a pack that allows yard sales. House is made with a bunch of packs but is mostly just all clutter! Main items are from the gameplay packs.

Rules: Aspiration must be country caretaker Start with $500 Place @simsyworld’s lot from the gallery called "Abandoned Farm" hashtag #reclaimedroots or #reclaimedrootslegacy Each generation must live on the family farm. This may call for an extension of the house, a second floor, or a basement. If your sim has more than one kid, they can move out. But the sim you decide to cary on the legacy must live on the farm. Your house has no wifi, so no computers or gaming consoles. A TV can be bought after you fix up the house. Your sim cannot have a job. Make money by yard sales or odd jobs. Your sim’s teenager sim’s can have a part-time job but they must still help out on the farm Wake up by 6:30am every day to take care of the animals (can take a nap after animals have been cared for) Cannot use “the hand of god” (selling in inventory) UNLESS there is more than 20 in a stack of crops. All other items must be sold during a yard sale. Have a yard sale at least once a week, every Sunday. If it is raining you can skip the yard sale. Sell anything you collect, baked goods, rocks, ect.

Generation One

Name the farm after your last name

Clean the house, buy a new mailbox, pick the weeds, and apply a fresh coat of paint to the house.

Find a stray cat to be your farm cat. This cat likes to live outdoors, so place a bed and food outside. If you get a full relationship with the cat, it can live indoors.

Buy 6 chickens and name each one.

Build a relationship with each animal before getting a new one

Enter a Finchwick Fair competition

Befriend the animals and complete the country caretaker Aspiration

Reach level 10 for Farming, Fishing, Cooking

Fall in love with a local farmer

Get married and have a ceremony on the farm

Have 1-2 children

When your first child is born, rescue a puppy that will become best friends with your child

When each sim ages up to a child, you must buy them a bike as a birthday present so your sim’s child can go on adventures.

Teach your children how to fish, cook, and garden

Generation Two

You grow up loving the farm and craving the taste of fresh produce. You watched your parents sell produce and baked goods every Sunday morning and thought it would be a great idea to go bigger! You decide to work towards your goal of making your name in town a staple by opening a store named after your family!

Have the Freelance Botanist Aspiration

Paint the house a new color since after all these years it needs a fresh coat.

Buy your family their first computer now that you have wifi

Reach level 10 for Cooking, Baking, Charisma

Find a stray dog to adopt into the family

Enter a Finchwick Fair competition

Fall in love, get married, and divorced. This relationship didn’t work out.

Own a bakery, store, or restaurant that focuses on the idea of selling food or produce that is fresh. You do not have to have yard sales after you build a store.

Become good friends with at least 20 sims outside of your household.

A local baby/child was dropped off at the fire station. You decide to adopt this sim to live on the family farm!

Build max relationship with your sim’s child.

Teach your sim’s child how to garden, cook, and fish.

Fall in love and get married

Have family dinner all together on Friday nights including your sim’s siblings who moved out

Generation Three

You were adopted into the most loving family. You fell more into the creative side of life. Always drawing, painting, doing arts and crafts. When you got older you fell in love with the relaxation of making floral arrangements.

Have the Painter Extraordinaire Aspiration

Reach level 10 for Floral Arrangements, Painting, Gardening

Make 3 masterpiece paintings

Befriend all the animals on the farm with max relationship

Inherit the family business and turn it into a floral arraignment store. You can also sell your paintings here.

Have 5 maxed relationship friends who you always hang out with

Enter a Finchwick Fair competition

Fall in love with 1 of the 5 friends.

Have family dinner’s on Friday nights and friend dinner’s on Monday night

Find a stray cat to adopt. This cat is obsessed with you and follows you to work at the floral arrangement store.

Marry your best friend and have a ceremony. Invite all of your friends and family

Have as many children as you feel is right.

SEBASTIAN SALLOW was pleasantly surprised when his uncle, Solomon Sallow, had chosen you to marry Sebastian. The two of you had been friends since you had joined Hogwarts in your fifth year and had been on many adventures together throughout your time at the school. When Sebastian first saw you after the news was announced, he stood confidently with a smile on his face.

“Sebastian,” you whispered softly as you walked over to him. “It seems we are to be wed.”

“It seems we are,” Sebastian grinned. He couldn’t deny that he had had a crush on you throughout your time at Hogwarts, but to think he was actually going to be married to you…

“What are your thoughts on this, Sebastian?” You had asked him quietly.

“I personally think it’s wonderful,” he grinned a Cheshire Cat grin and took a sip of the drink he had held in his hand. “What are your thoughts on this?”

“I don’t know,” you whispered. You were now desperately avoiding eye contact with the prior Slytherin who’s gaze had dropped to the floor. Sebastian couldn’t help but be disappointed by your reaction, he was expecting you to be as excited as he was.

Sebastian tucked a piece of your hair behind your ear and traced his finger along your chin, forcing you to look up at him. “Hey,” he whispered. “You know me. I’ll keep you safe.”

Your heart was fluttering in your chest as Sebastian’s gaze dropped to your lips. Before you knew it, Sebastian was kissing you softly, his fingers still gripping your chin and keeping your face in place. Your eyes widened as Sebastian kissed you slowly, but you soon melted into the kiss and your eyes fluttered closed. “Sebastian,” you whispered against his lips.

Sebastian pulled away and looked into your eyes, signature smirk grazing his lips. “Yes, my heart?” He whispered back.

“Don’t let me down.”

“I’ll never let you down,” he replied, stroking your cheek with his fingers. “I promise.”

OMINIS GAUNT was unaware that the two of you were to be married. His family, much to his dismay, had kept it a secret until the ‘meeting’. Ominis stood by the mantle, his hand gripping at the glass he held while waiting for the woman he was to marry. “Ominis?” Your voice came.

“Y/N, what are you doing here?” Ominis asked, his eyes widening and turning to your general direction. His grey, milky eyes would search for yours if he could see.

“It’s me, Ominis,” you said. “You’re marrying me.”

Ominis stayed silent for a few moments, blinking rapidly as he took in this new information. When he finally spoke, he could only say one word. “Why?”

You chuckled lightly and you responded, “that is a question you should be asking your family, not me.”

“That’s true,” Ominis mumbled.

You grabbed his free hand and placed it on your hip, forcing the man to pull you close to him. His face was so close to your own, it had your heart beating rapidly against your ribcage. “Are you disappointed?” You whispered, your lips gracing his own.

Ominis shook his head and smiled softly. “The very opposite, my dear.”

“Then chin up,” you giggled. “We have a wedding to plan!”

“I suppose we do, don’t we.”

GARRETH WEASLEY is overly confident that whoever he is to wed will love him, so when he sees you his face instantly drops. “Oh,” he whispered to himself.

“Garreth,” you say as you walk up to him slowly. “It seems like you’re my soon-to-be husband.”

He chuckled awkwardly and sighed, “so it seems.”

“Did you set this up?” You asked but Garreth shook his head a ‘no’. You pursed your lips together and sighed. “This is a mess.”

“Why is this a mess?” Garreth asked, tilting his head in confusion. Sure you hated him, but you didn’t hate him that much… right?

“Garreth, we’re getting married. Married!” You shouted as you threw your hands in the air in defeat.

“It doesn’t have to be such a bad thing,” Garreth said. The ginger haired male took a step towards you and placed a hand on your shoulder as if trying to comfort you. “We can make it work. If you want to, that is.”

You looked up at Garreth and smiled softly. Maybe he wasn’t as bad as you thought he was. As annoying as he was at school, you were adults now. Maybe he had changed and become more sensible. More mature. You had hoped anyway. You placed your hand on top of Garreth’s and smiled softly at him. “We can try and make this work, but it won’t work if you annoy me. So just… Don’t do that.”

Garreth grinned and pulled you into a bone-shattering hug. “No promises Y/N,” he chimed loudly before pressing a kiss to your cheek and turning to walk away. You stood there dumbfounded as your hand made its way to your cheek where he had kissed you, a blush threatening to emerge. It looks like your life just got a little more interesting.

LEANDER PREWETT stared at the name that was beautifully scrawled on the piece of paper. His family had given it to him a few days ago to tell him who he had been arranged to marry. It was you. He remembered you from Hogwarts. You shared glances in the halls, but never spoke. You were always busy with Sebastian Sallow and Ominis Gaunt to even bother talking to him. He heard the front door knock, and quickly, he shoved the piece of paper back into his pocket before making his way to the door. When he opened it, you were standing there, umbrella in hand to shield you from the pouring rain. “Y/N?” He asked. Leander blinked rapidly as you stood awkwardly in front of him.

“Leander,” you smiled softly. “Mind if I come in?” You nodded towards the hall.

Leander moved to the side and beckoned you in. “Of course.”

“Thank you,” you mumbled, stepping into the hall and putting your umbrella down.

“Why are you here?” He asked, immediately face palming himself. Of course you were here. You were probably here to start wedding preparations or something.

“Well, I suppose you know the news by now,” you said, leaning against the doorframe. Leander just nodded, knowing you meant your engagement. “I’m here to see my future husband.” Leander’s jaw dropped. You were really referring to him as your future husband. It made his heart swell lightly in his chest. He watched you walk towards him with half-lidded eyes, a purr practically emitting from your chest. Leander backed up until his back was against the wall and your hands were placed firmly on his chest. “I’ve always liked you, Leander.” He stuttered, choking on his words. You liked him? He liked you too, but never thought you would even give him a second glance if he ever told you! “What’s wrong? Cat got your tongue?”

Leander gulped down his words and shook his head, face heating up as you skimmed your lips against his ear. “I-I like you too,” he stuttered.

“Good job, because we’re getting married,” you chuckled. “I just dropped by to say hello, to make myself known. I assume I’ll be around here a lot.”

You moved away from Leander and he finally let out a long breath. “It’s been good to see you Y/N,” he managed to choke out.

“It’s been good to see you too, Leander,” you smiled at him softly before grabbing your umbrella again and making your way to the door. You turned to look at him one last time before you disappeared into the rain, leaving Leander alone with his thoughts once more. He still couldn’t believe he was going to marry you…
