But actually their fave is Snas lol #You are Basic Eli just accept this lol #Ficus was an easy pick for Napstablook - they would absolutely lay on the floor and think about being garbage with them #That deadened gaze lol #Ulex looks so uninterested in Alphys lol they're just bad at talking - dissimilar from Alphys in that they've got the stoic thing going on #They're not awkward just not good at making friends lol #Hall of Mirrors would absolutely love Undyne lol - being friends with her and cooking together would make HoM So Happy haha #Another obvious one - Othersona already comes with spider imagery! Muffet was the clear choice haha #They are having a cup of spiders and they are enjoying it :/ Lol #And finally Holosona and original calculator-body Mettaton haha - she prefers this version over EX and NEO #She'd probably like NEO - she absolutely plays the Genocide run on purpose - except for how OHKO he is lol #A different sona likes NEO tho...#Anyhow ♪ Might talk more about their different play styles in the digital version :D When I get there anyway lol

There she is, the Courier Being thrown into bullshit when all she wanted to do was get some easy caps Along with being an Ex-Farmer from Australia, Creeps is an Ex-Bogan (Raider for Aussies) and ran with a lot of nasty people when she was younger, only changing her life around when the gang she stuck with started to get into mutilations' and cannibalism. She was dubbed The Chameleon for having such a simple face, before the cheek tattoos, and able to disguise herself very easily. Having her hair shaved for so long and not being able to alter herself, once she got out she went wild with being experimental with her hair and tattooing herself heavily to leave that part of her life behind with the gang.

Creeps is proficient in melee combat, using her bow for long range and hatchet for both close and long range. She is high in Perception, Strength and Charisma, but low in Intelligence, Agility and Endurance. After being shot and then dug up, her one and only goal is to find and beat the shit out of those who shot her.

As tends to happen when I’m in an art funk, I’ve stockpiled a few sketch sheets.

First up, a little Momo love!

These ones are based on a plushie I got for Christmas. I want to reverse engineer its pattern someday, because I ADORE its proportions!

(The bottom right two are just freehands, not based on the plushie.)

And then just some “whatever my hands felt like doing” doodles.

And… a character that I’ve been trying to iron out for a bit now… she’ll be relevant to the story at some point, but I’ve been enjoying drawing her and finally getting a solid idea of what I want her to be.

But since she’s relevant to the future, I’ll put her stuff under a read more, for those who would rather wait until she’s officially introduced.

This character is named Jamie, and is very near and dear to my heart. She’s not only an old OC of mine, but she—with help from a Gardevoir— is basically the one who got me out of a human drawing phobia many years ago. (So you can thank her for me being bold enough to share today, lol.) She started out as a trainer-sona, but quickly became a character all her own, very different from me as a person.

Anyway, first for her, some gesture things and mood drawings.

Some hairdo practice

(I default to making parts either in the middle or on the left, hence the blurb in there, lol.)

And some fun I had with her Crobat, partially inspired by a comment from @penumbramewtwos

(I forgot her scars there, but it kinda works because I feel like this would happen before she got them. X3)

And finally, the part where I really felt like I was getting somewhere with her, aka some clothing testing.

I’ve been wanting to hold off revealing her until she comes into the story, but I really like how these all turned out, and I don’t know when I’ll be ready to move the story along. On top of that, her reveal really wouldn't have any special impact to most of you, since you don't know her. (Aside from a select few.)

So I thought I’d give in and share her with you all. Plus that frees me up to share more doodles of her if I so choose.

FINALLY! DOLLYA CONCEPT

I'll have a little look back and remember how I came up with this current Sona design. The me of 2021 definitely would look at this and go "WTF???". When I search and place old drawings side by side for comparison, It's really been a process of changing my perspective on myself and constantly finding what I want.

It'll be very random and full of my old drawings, so if you don't mind a little rambling, welcome to go under the cut and go back in time with me!

Let's start with this design. As you can clearly see it was based on how I actually look irl, from the outfit, hairstyle to make-up.

Tbf this was not my first attempt to create a Sona, but it was a huge milestone because it's 2018, the year I got into my dream Art university and left home. My style completely changed, and this Sona showed it perfectly.

I drew this with my fingers, on my broken phone, to enter a Vietnamese clothes design competition, where we modernized some traditional clothes. What I did here is a modernized Nhật Bình. I won and got my design made into real clothes and sent to me. I'm still proud of it to this day XD

It was fun! I draw her almost daily, like how I do with Lya and Lyah in this blog. I used her to make friends with other artists. I even created a gender-bent version for her : D

But the uni life was stressful, especially when I entered my third year and tried to escape my parents' grasp. They were furious and threatened me, I started working extra and do commission to pay for my own living and rent, lessons were hard, and homework and projects were pilling,... As a result, I often use my sona to stress draw.

It didn't help much, my anxieties and insecurities kept adding to the molten fire inside me, and my overthinking got worse day by day.

But then at some point, I decided to separate myself from that sona. She turned into one of my many OCs, maybe more special but I no longer see my entire self in her anymore.

I have to thank my two besties for that. They pulled me out of my darkest moments and stayed with me. They remain to be my only two most important people in this whole world.

I started to "reuse" the sona appearance into creating many other OCs for many other fandoms I joined (Cookierun, HnK, FGO, KnY, Genshin,...). I had fun jumping between different styles lol.

The idea for the current design started to take shape when one day I drew her wearing a white delicate dress (I usually just do red) and a see-through sleep dress I just bought.

Something started clicking.

Then I became an assistant for an Ero Artist. Yup. I started to be exposed to more "sexy" character designs and tbh I just love those. I love drawing female characters already, but there's something something about cute and sexy girls in lingerie... If you know what I mean.

The design slowly became clearer. Cute and pristine-white, see-through lingerie, with little four petals flowers, and little bows, perfect.

The details still varied. They depended on the style I was using or my mood, whether I wanted to go into details or not. That's the fun of drawing your own design, let's keep it.

And here we are~ Maybe it's still not final, but I'm happy with it, and that's enough for me now!

Malachi and Malisandra (with Malleus)

^Reina reference (her hair is a light brown and pale pink gradient)

Both children have their dad’s horns and slightly pointed ears.

Malachi is the older twin, with a shy, amicable, gentle personality. He’s the type that many would see as too soft to rule—and he doesn’t mind at all. He enjoys singing and the arts. Momma’s boy.

Malisandra is the younger twin, and takes after dad more. Mature for her age, serious, duty bound. She would have a classic, lady-like appearance (quite like Meleanor’s).

You can have a bit of creative freedom with looks, but at the least I imagine both kids to have Malleus’ hair color. Eye colors can vary.

I FINALLY HAVE A FAVOURITE HUMAN POKEMON CHARACTER!!!!

I've been playing Pokemon since probably 2010, and i've never really had a favourite Pokemon character that was human. I mean i do love some characters like Cynthia and Wally, but i just never saw them as my favourites, and it's been like that for years.............UNTIL NOW!!!!

As much as Pokemon Scarlet/Violet has such a wonderful story, as well as fantastic character development. Kieran's arc is the only thing within the game that legit shook me to my core.

Like there were so many thoughts racing through my head after i finished the Teal Mask, and that post ending!!! That gave me serious chills.

I will never forget that battle i had with Kieran when playing the Indigo Disk. That was the most insane and intense Pokemon battle i've ever had in a long time. I legit felt like i was fighting for my life. I haven't been backed into corner like that for years.

What made it worse was that I found out after the battle that, for the first time in Pokemon history, Kieran canonically surpasses Cynthia. And given how she's left tons of players with PTSD, that's a horrifying title to have.

Kieran is more then just your "friendly rival", and i have no idea how to put it in words. One things for certain is that he is nothing like the other rivals in the other games, Kieran was out for blood, specially your blood.

I already considered Pokemon Violet as my favourite Pokemon game of all time, and playing the DLC and the Epilogue, that just deepened the title.

I'm so happy i bought it, and i'm glad Kieran stays our friend at the end too :)

But to think that this timid little bean would become my new worst nightmare lol

Congratulations Kieran, you are now part of my "favourite characters from different fandoms" collection, you've earned it <3

I'll be happy with just about anything, it just is so sweet that people want to draw me anything at all. if you're curious I do technically have a sona I guess it's called? it started with my super cool pfp on twitter drawn by the lovely @aweirdlisa which is me but, like, with kind of a bee themed outfit going on and a cool skeleton arm and leg? and then for my past birthday the amazing @firexima drew that same sona that lisa had drawn me which is now my tumblr pfp here, so yeah. my sona is basically just girl with short blonde hair and bangs, wearing a tank top kind of designed to look like a bee and with bee wings, usually holding a book and pencil, and with an optional skeleton arm lol. I can't find the full sized version of what lisa drew me but you can go see it on my twitter it's my pfp there

4 Year Shepiversary!!

Today, March 24th 2024, marks four years since I first made Shep!!

In that time, he really has evolved so much both as a character in his own right and as my main sona. It’s kind of ridiculous for me to look back at some of the first pieces I made of him and see how far both he and I have come since then <33

More ramblies abt what/how much he means to me below the cut :]

Shep was my first ever furry character and that was a big milestone for me, especially looking back on it now lol. I remember being nervous about taking that first step into having an anthro character because I had been in a lot of online spaces that had really negative views of the furry community (I would not wish being on iFunny upon anyone). Plus just branching away from WoF at the time, which my online presence had basically been built upon up to that point, also felt daunting.

But opening myself up to the furry community is something I’m so glad that I did and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Without taking that first step with making Shep, who knows, I might’ve never made things like Let’s Get Back! or gotten/made characters I so adore like PB, Starburst or Luau. I've met so many amazing people through this community and that's something I am so incredibly grateful for.

And then of course, Shep himself has really helped me in ways that no other OC of mine has. Given how I made him in March of 2020, that was right before the hardest stretch of my life so far, from early/mid 2020 through 2021. Having Shep as a way to express myself and channel the things I was feeling into a character really did help so much. I know I said this in my Shep post last year but it bears repeating, it really does feel like Shep and I have grown up together in the last four years. I don’t know how else to put it.

But 4 years and 232 toyhouse gallery images later, he’s still here with me. Despite everything, he's still me <33

would love to see a breakdown of some of ur design decisions for ur furs ^_^ like what animal traits u have fun including, which traits arent accurate but are Cute so u included anyways etc. not necessarily super detailed or anything but like stuff u have fun with ^_^

dis is kind of hard to answer since I don't have many furry ocs + am still learning to draw them in general when i take comms and such! i'll try to explain some with skunker and cow al

I like sort of mixing and matching things to fit personality, while trying my best to keep it Animal. skunker is my sona so design choices are to my preferences, nose and eyes are more Iconic (in the sense of representive, stylized symbols) because its Fun, Cute, and Me, when in the past i was more focused on drawing the nose "Accurately", like the skunk on the left.

but that doesnt mean i cant still draw it if necessary on another character! His hands also aren't accurate to the big claws skunks have (i bite my nails), and his tail is Smooth! all comes together for a specific character representation as you can see with the difference between em

it's similar with cow al (+ easier to base off of his human form lol) (also sorry the random cow looks so uncanny i didnt give it as much atention + im tired rn).

I try to keep traits i associate w the species (like the cute big eyelashes cows have) but there's always room to remove or adjust em if it fits the character, like with smunker's tail + claws, + cow al's chin etc! i try really hard to still keep them looking like Animals (and recognizable as their species!) though despite this, + there's lots of room to adjust for that while keeping em recognizable as Themselves

i wish i cld say something more coherent but it really is Case By Case for me...! + im still learning + i don't have a lot of room to do so... + also im sure id have a slightly harder time with individual traits if i was drawing a new fur from scratch vs based off a human form bc im not used to it

(this is actually all why i have such a hard time with furry comms...! like, i wont draw someone's skunk oc the same way i draw smunker...most immediate obvious trait on a character is Eyes and i struggle with eyes so much, have to make it all Fit the character's personality while not straying too far from the 2 furry ocs people see me draw and expect things to look like, have to think outside the box of the aforementioned 2 furry ocs whose specific traits im already used to etc etc...

wish i had all the time in the world to spend drawing someones furry oc to get them down accurately but for now i jst gotta keep practicing)

This is mostly a copy-paste from my pinned post, but I figure it'd be nice to post this here so that it's accessible for the current time being - there's also extra notes and edits I may add that I'll also add to my pinned post eventually.

A few things to consider when it concerns tickling-related matters with me:

I am a Switch! I'm unsure how far Ler or Lee I am just yet, but I do enjoy tickling both ways. Unfortunately, however, I'm the kind of person that practically flies across a room when poked,, (if it comes down to tickling my sona - Niko Spirata - tie or hold 'em down if you want to wreck 'em with tickles lol)

My interest in tickling alone is purely SFW - It feels too weird looking at IRL photos/videos with very rare exception (a lot of the exception is the giggle the lee produces from ticklish contact). As a result, all the stuff I'll be reblogging and posting here is art or animation-related instead!

My absolute FAVORITE tickle trope is the one where a shrunken someone or a small something wiggles under the unwitting lee's clothing to tickle them! (Points at wormonastriing's Squirmles as one example of this trope :3) No, seriously. If I end up with art of any of my characters (Sona included) getting destroyed with tickles in this manner I will ASCEND BEYOND GALAXIES.

My favorite spots with tickling overall are belly, side and rib tickling - on rarer occasions, I enjoy tickling in other places (I prefer foot tickling if the lee has paws instead of normal feet!). This lines up with a particular enjoyment of characters being slightly chubby! I looove a good squeeze of the sides or belly, enough to get the lee blurting out giggles.

When it concerns my Sona's ticklish spots and stuff:

In all forms, Niko's ticklish spots are many with the most sensitive tickle spots being their lower back, sides, just under the upper arm (not the pits though those are ticklish too), belly, hips and feet. They looove belly and side tickles the most but isn't opposed to other spots being targetted. They love being tickled as much as they tickle others (and since they're a sona, it's the reason I'm set as a Switch!).

If you poke their lower back or their side, they might jump a good foot in the air lol

If Niko's not in ler mood specifically, they're less confident/cocky about things and tend to shy away a bit (they may be quiet about stuff most of the time actually, so go ham on surprise tickles - they'll appreciate that!).

i wanted to make a tribute to (most of) my early furry youtube inspos !! i opted to use the oldest designs for the characters i could remember :)

obvs this isnt all of my inspos at the time! i literally slapped these down off the top of my head lol. a few i forgot and didnt picture are splashkittyartist, flightfootwarrior, neonspaidaa, and alermi!

the sona i used to represent me is jhet! shes my oldest fursona ^^

i know a few of you guys are still around and kickin online, which makes me really happy!! i want you to know if you see this that youve been a big part of my life for many years and im so glad you decided to put your animations on youtube for little ol me to watch <3
