When his lips touched your throat, the world fell quiet. All you could hear was the frantic thrum of your pulse and the quiet drone of news on a distant television. Edward stills like he's reconsidering, and the breath that huffs through his nostrils tells you he's at war.

"I-it's okay."

He tenses and withdraws completely. Dismayed, you watch as the heavy eyed vampire settles back against the couch and looks away from you. His brows vex while his lips press to a thin line of a frown. You soften and crawl to him on the couch, reaching to encompass one of his cold hands inside your warm ones. This happened frequently enough to become routine. Edward was complex and the only vampire you knew who refused to drink human blood.

"I can't."

"I know."

Fingers twitch inside your palms, and you watch as his body stiffens. Edward isn't looking at you now, and your experience tells you that he's blaming himself. Patiently, you draw a blanket around the two of you and shift to lean your weight into his side. Edward is unmoving, but you hear his breath catch as your head drops to his shoulder. Neither of you say anything for what seems like an hour.

"You really want me to?"

His voice tugs you out of your dozing state, and you take a moment to process what he's asking. Edward finally turned his head, his face inches from your own while those haunted citrine eyes burn into yours. He looks sunken more than usual. The grooves under his cheek bones were deeper, and his eyes held bags beneath them.

He needed to eat.

"What are you asking me, Edward? If I want you to bite me or I want you to feed?" He winces at your tone and drops his gaze ashamedly. "You know the answer," You soften your words and cup his chin to look at you. "I'm okay with it, really I am. I'm not just saying that because, first of all, I know that shit is gonna hurt. And secondly, maybe I really trust you."

That tugs something in the man as he smiles faintly and turns his head to kiss into your palm. He can hear your pulse and the strong beat of your heart against your ribs. Your scent, healthy and young, appealing to him even more now that he was nearly starving. Mouth watering, Edward swallowed and brought you closer. There is a moment he looks at you, disbelieving he ever deserved you to begin with.

"If it starts to hurt too much, i-if you feel like you're gonna pass out, anything, I need you to try stop me." There is gravity to his words. If he lost control drinking from you, he could quite easily rip your throat and kill you on this couch. There would not be a single thing you could do to stop him. He was afraid of himself and afraid of hurting you.

You smile and nod as your thumb brushes his bottom lip. It was enough, and Edward kisses you. It's breathtaking, and your eyes fly closed as he envelopes you in his arms. His tongue flicks between your lips, and you greet him with your own. He groans softly, straining to keep his composure as he tastes you. Withdrawing and leaving you gasping, he kisses along your jaw and towards your neck. Goosebumps prickle on your skin as you dip your head back, exposing the arch of your throat.

Mouthing your flesh, Edward kitten licks over your pulse once again. You can feel his body tense and his chest swell as he braces himself. Your eyes are closed, holding perfectly still and trying not to tense - Edward mentioned something about tensing and making it difficult to bite through the skin. The pause this time is shorter, and you feel the scrape of his teeth as his jaws begin to open.

The breaking of flesh was a pain you'd never experienced before. You gasp as your hands fly to grasp his sides and curl into his shirt. An ache spread up your neck and down into your arm. Edward gasps above you as his jaws lock, and his grip becomes bruising. The warmth was leaving you steadily now as you spilled into his lips, your heart hammering so hard you thought it might pop. He groans into your skin, his tongue lashing against you as he sucks, he was losing himself in it, unable to think clearly while the primal desire to feed overwhelms his frontal lobe.

When your head began to swim and numbness prickled in your arms, you knew you were close to passing out. "Edward," your voice sounded far away. "I'm not feeling so well." It was difficult to speak. You were exhausted in a way you had never felt before. "Please." You whimper, unsure of how long it'd been and if you had lost enough for your heart to stop. In the moment, you can briefly recall hearing about humans only being able to lose about half a gallon of blood before dying.

There's a noise that escapes Edward that startles you. He dug his fingers tighter into your back before he wrenches his mouth off of you with a strangled gasp. Black spots burst in your eyes as you look up at him, hardly recognizing the blown pupils and bloody mouth of your lover. You're trying to talk, but your tongue is heavy and throat dry. As you lose consciousness, you hear a pained whimper; "I'm sorry,"

You awoke to a cool cloth against your forehead. All your senses needed time to reboot; you could hear the distant tv, smell something fragrant beside you, and feel the damp compress on your face. As your eyes open, you realize you are in the bedroom, and you sigh in relief. You hadn't died, which meant Edward kept himself under control.

"You're up!"

Edward steps into the room, holding a glass of water. He looks healthier, his face thickened, and his eyes sparkling. You smile to yourself and admire him for a moment as he draws closer and sits in the chair beside you. When he offers the water, you take it and drink eagerly while he watches. "You scared me, I thought I'd taken too much." He admits while he lays a hand against your leg.

"Nah, I'm just a wuss." You smile at him, and he smiles back.

"You weren't scared, were you?" He says suddenly, his eyes round as he searches your expression. Edward was always relentlessly concerned about you. You knew that this was a loaded question that would undoubtedly make him nervous.

"Not for a single second," you say, laying your hand over his. "I trust you, always and forever." There is something that moves in him, and you watch while he struggles with it. Edward felt undeserving of love due to what he was, and often times fought himself about having you around. You hoped in time you could heal that, and show him that - dead or undead - he was owed the world.

A smile tugs his lips, and he presses them to your temple. "I'll bring you something to eat, what would you like?" You watch as he stands and heads for the door, loving him for every single thing about him, including the droplets of your blood that still stained his white collar.

"Anything with red meat. Preferably bloody."

You came up on my recommended feed at the perfect time bc I have Artem brainrot rn AND YOUR ANALYZATION OF ARTEM’S CARDS ARE FANTASTIC! I’m one of the few players that avoids most CN server spoilers, and I’ve been abstaining from pulling most cards so I can pull for 3rd anni(which now I’m kinda questioning if I should LOL), so I missed out on a TON of content for all of the male leads. BUT, from the very few cards I had pulled this past yr, I did notice an odd shift in Artem’s personality. Although, I wasn’t too sure if it was just me being dumb or if it was a real thing that was happening. And after reading some of your posts I kinda want to re-read Artem’s Second Anni Card again bc I was so excited for the artwork from that event, that I didn’t pay much attention to the story LOL However, now that I’ve seen what you’ve said and what many other Artem fans have said, I’m sure my feelings weren’t wrong. And now I’m sad 😢

Artem was my favorite bc his relationship with Rosa felt the healthiest and was built on respecting each other’s boundaries, learning how to set boundaries, and working as a team, while also having a more traditional framework of a male leadership role(which I’m extremely fond of). Artem never restricted Rosa from spreading her wings as his work partner or as his life partner, he simply asked if he could come along beside her where ever she wanted to go. AND LIKE HIS ORIGINAL PERSONAL STORY IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THIS BEHAVIOR! Rosa makes a reckless decision to go get evidence, without Artem, for a the domestic violence case they were working on and almost gets hurt in the process. After that, Artem scolds Rosa for being reckless and for not taking better care of herself. And Rosa doesn’t take it lying down either! They equally argue and get their grievances out in the open, feel bad about later, and apologize. (THE COMMUNICATION IS SO REAL 😩) FURTHERMORE! This incident leads them to learning and understanding how differently they work as lawyers. Artem learns that Rosa is a lot more personal with her clients and handles her cases with an empathetic approach, while he works more pragmatically, so through this case they learn to work to each other’s strengths as partners, covering for what the other person lacks. And the chapters this incident took place in solidified my growing love for Artem bc unlike Luke or Vyn(I’m not sure about Marius bc admittedly I haven’t read his original personal story 😅), Artem doesn’t hinder Rosa by being overprotective like Luke or push her beyond her capacities like Vyn tried to do in his original personal story. Artem allows a natural course of growth to occur in Rosa, while being a hedge of protection for Rosa BUT ONLY when she seems to REALLY need it, and the same can be said for Rosa towards Artem.

and omg, do NOT ever feel bad for ranting in my inbox!!!! i've been ranting about tot in the main tag for two years at this point and i will Always be thrilled to read delightfully written meta such as yours!!!!!

i have to say, i entirely agree with all of this. and i mean ALL OF IT. his personal stories 2, 3, and 4 are my absolute favorites of his and gosh that's like. prime artem to me, i think. your ask reminded me of some meta i read such a long while ago about his second personal story (link can be found here, it's SUCH a good read)

i think a huge issue is that artem originally always felt like the antithesis to your typical daddy dom boss character. when you start playing tot, appearances wise, he looks and even comes across as one. but these initial appearances are quickly shattered.

he is absolutely inexperienced with interpersonal relationships. he fumbles the bag CONSTANTLY with rosa. he's terrible at holding conversation, he's constantly apologizing for being boring. he needs his own fucking boss to wingman (haha. wing) for him. he blushes if mc looks at him the wrong way. he's kinda strange. but he's earnest and genuine. he respects rosa's boundaries. he makes mistakes, but learns from them. he gives rosa time to think over her feelings for him so she can still say no to him if she changes her mind.

it's the contrast between this and his initial appearance that makes him interesting. what is extremely bizarre with artem's recent writing is it feels like someone who only read artem's introduction scene got some vague pointers and was like oh. your typical daddy dom boss guy. okay yeah i can write this. and then they did. which . defeats the whole entire point of what made artem compelling in the first place. he was compelling BECAUSE he subverted this trope. by just making him play the trope straight, you remove any and all intrigue from his character.

by not building off of older cards, you abandon all of the plot lines he had set up. they undid any angst in his stories. they dropped his issues with his parents. they downplayed neils impact on his life. he doesn't even grieve for him anymore. he doesnt even think about him most of the time. what happened to entwined fate? praying for neil's safety? what about neil being his father figure? neil potentially betraying the nxx? are we just going to ignore that now so we can watch artem be an insane freak who just apparently woke up with the skills of a sex god, forgot all of the lessons he learned, and doesnt care about consent anymore?

god, now IM ranting.... regardless. youre so right. i hear artem's newest cards are good so im praying those rumors are true : ((

EDIT: SORRY I MEANT TO TALK ABOUT HIS THIRD ANNIVERSARY CARD!!! it's not as bad as his second anniversary card. i know the bar is in hell but it's something. it's pretty contrived in the grand scheme of things (like why are they moving into a house...?) and has some weird moments, but is ultimately not as bad as it could have been in the slightest. i'd say its biggest crime is being boring as sin. holy fuck. i put that shit on 2x speed and i still found myself wanting to fast forward. like nothing happens at all???? it's so bizarre HAHA

Headcanons Driven? 👀

Sorry, that it took me so long, anon! But I really wanted to take time and sum some thoughts up! And I swear that won’t be my last post about headcanons of them!

DRIVEN HEADCANONS pt. 1

Firstly, the basics: zodiac signs: I headcanon Darcy to be (totally) Scorpio. It’s just the vibes she gives. She is dark and mysterious and can be very mean (Scorpios have a sharp tail after all and it shows.) Riven is totally Aries to me, stubborn af and headstrong, and very convinced of himself. Not gonna lie, they have power couple energy.

As long as everything goes to plan, Darcy is very sovereign but she can’t deal with spontaneity – losing control is something she fears. So in the end it turns out that we have the good girl/ bad boy dynamic to an instant after all

→ Riven gets that really quick and loves teasing her that way because he finds her cute when she goes all wahhh *panick* stop that

Talking about that: Riven likes both sides of Darcy. He doesn’t mind getting saved like in 1x8 but (and he prefers) to be the one to do so (like in 1x9. He totally doesn’t mind taking care of her when she needs help).

According to that one above – I headcanon to be both 17+ in the beginning of s1 keep that in mind – both tend to be dom in bed (I like writing couples that way and I totally should consider writing them at some point)

However aside from going after the dragon flame and taking over the universe, Darcy is a devoted student and is definitely someone who learns. A lot and hard. So, it happens quite a lot that she goes to the big library in Magix to study for a presentation etc and Riven just likes watching her learn. She hates it and gets all blushy and can’t concentrate whenever he comes with her and after teasing her enough with his presence he will go and wait for her outside usually with a coffee or something like that

Darcy has totally trust issues. I did not yet have imagined why, but she does. She hates to let go and give someone power over her by doing so.

→ so, in the beginning, she never stays overnight because she just hates being vulnerable when sleeping. After all the beef in s1 I headcanon them to still have their mental bond and because of that getting closer again. However, in that reunion, it will be the first time she trusts him enough to stay overnight and actually fall asleep

→ this is obviously a big step for both of them. And again Riven is a watcher because Darcy looks so innocent in her sleep *v*

Talking about their mental bond: the time in which Darcy was always leaving after ya know making out, Riven would always send mental messages like: Darcy, Darcy. What? Sweet Dreams and she’ll always be like, don’t use this for things like that but will be happy.

Darcy is in general happier when she is with him. For her, it’s a tiny part of normal life she just doesn’t have otherwise (ya know, world domination and stuff)

@ mental bond again: As I said, it stayed after they broke up in s1. The bond wasn’t working in light rock obviously because the Trix had these mind-control headbands there but after that, the connection was back. Riven had tried for a time to contact her out of curiosity. And I imagine that this works as reaching mentally for some kind of mental way to the other person. There was no “way” for him to contact her in light rock because the “way” was blocked but afterward the gate was open again. Sensing that the way is open however doesn’t mean that the person who is to be contacted will inevitably notice that someone is reaching for them. So in fact Riven is the first one to notice that the mental gate is open again. Of course, Darcy is a master in Occlumency but she has to pay attention to notice and as she simply doesn’t think of the possibility, she doesn’t notice until he says her name with makes her going jdkfjkdffdjkdfh omg fck

After they develop that mental bond again and talk from time to time (Darcy has to be careful because of Darkar and her sisters) they notice very quickly that they are definitely not over each other AND from then on, they will always give each other longing glances anytime they meet.

They also avoid fighting each other in general.

first of all. i love brandon moreno. i have not been a fan for long, only about three weeks now, but he has earned my number one spot and is keeping it, forever. i could scream and cry and pee my pants talking about him, but i will keep calm because... wow. brandon moreno. he is just. everything that is wonderful about the world personified into one man.

i find his attitude in this line of work so refreshing, he's so respectful of other fighters and so kind while also being a complete badass and holding his own ground. and the fact that he's SUCH A SWEETIE???? OH MY GOOOOOD charles was my introduction into ufc!! the first fight i ever watched was charles v. dustin and it was a great one to start with!! i love charles's fights because you're always guaranteed excitement and flare!! he's always moving in and being bold, and i truly adore how all of his fights go.

also he's so soooo fucking cute with his daughter oh my god???? he loves her so much and i can't fucking handle it

i love him so much... i also love how, like moreno, he came from a struggling background and how he had to struggle to become successful. no nepotism babies in my house! i think he's made such great strides, and i love seeing an underdog become a champ it’s so good. he deserves everything he's gotten.

tony's 12 win streak ending because of gaethje is so bittersweet because i love both of them. i hate that tony is on this downward spiral, but you know, you only go for so long in this type of work. 38 isn't that old when it comes to life, but when it comes to mma... idk sometimes you just gotta know when to call it quits and i hope he doesn't push himself :/

also i think tony is so hot... idk how to explain it lol... he really is something else. ALSO THAT VOICE YOOOOOOOWEEEEEE!!!!!!

i also have a super soft spot for kai kara france!! i think he's a genuinely good person and him and his wife and son are a super cute family. i love seeing supportive spouses wahhh it makes me so happy.

kai is such a sweetheart and he deserves so much more. i talk about it with my bf all the time: kai deserves to be champ, he really does, but even if he beat moreno and went on to figgy, i think he would have lost. :/

figgy and moreno are just... leagues above the rest of the division, and yes them going against each other for the fourth time is lowkey repetitive... but like not really. all three of their fights have been so fucking engaging and it's crazy to see how equally matched they are. they're destined to fight. enemies to lovers slowburn soulmates.

but kai is amazing. just not... ready for figgy i feel yknow? i'd happily watch him and moreno fight again though.

ALSO THE FACT THAT HE'S MAORI??? WAHHFHEIHGEWHOEH I LOVE SEEING INDIGENOUS PPL INTEGRATE THEIR CULTURE INTO THEIR CONTENT

P!!! You’ve been on fire lately with your writing! 💕 I was reading the story you posted with Javi and his little’s stuffie today where they play hide and seek and I couldn’t help but imagine Daddy Whiskey playing a game of hide and seek with you at his Kentucky ranch one day cause you’re feeling extra little…the only problem is that Daddy forgot to tell you to only hide in the house—he didn’t want you hiding in the barn or somewhere else where there were dangerous things and you could get really hurt when you were so little—and he damn near has a coronary when he searches the whole house and can’t find you. He’s about two seconds away from calling in the whole of Statesmen when you pop back in the front door wondering why daddy hadn’t found you yet…and maybe a bit of angst ensues ‘cause he was really really worried. I think that the only time Daddy Whiskey would ever get mad to the point of yelling at you is when you do something that could’ve gotten you hurt.

this literally has me like 😖 wahhh daddy bc he really would be so worried and upset.

Warnings: DDLG, fem!reader, angst then comfort. daddy cry!

"Alright... one... two... three..." Daddy starts counting. You know exactly where you want to hide. Behind the wheelbarrow next to the barn. You could curl yourself into a ball and no one would see you.

Only problem was it had definitely been a long time. You were sure of that and you didn't hear daddy nearby. He was always so good at finding you. Still you waited, hoping that you would actually win the game for once.

Then suddenly you hear him run out onto the porch and call your name. You think it's a trick to get you to come out. He disappears for a bit again, going back into the house. You wait patiently and then you hear him come out to the porch again.

"Damnit..." You hear him cry and his voice cracks weirdly. "Come out, babygirl! This ain't funny!"

You shimmy out from your hiding spot and peer around the barn. You see him run down onto the walkway, hands cupped to call your name.

"Little lamb-!" He stumbles on the gravel in his haste and pauses a moment to hold his face in his hands. His shoulders shake. You find this odd and you knew this was not part of the game.

"Daddy?"

"Baby?" His head shot up and he instantly saw you across the field. He took off in a run towards you.

"Daddy!" You reached for him, your voice pitching up when you see his tears.

He scoops you into his arms as soon as he's in reach and presses you tight against him, smushing your cheek. He's kissing every part of you. Your face, your lips, your head.

"Daddy cry!" You reach up and feel his tear tracked cheek, brow furrowed in confusion. You're very worried because you've hardly ever seen daddy cry.

"Damnit, little lamb, where were you!?" He sets you down and shakes your shoulders. "Daddy said stay in the house. You- you scared him. Bad girl!"

"But you didn't say dat!" you pipe up for yourself. You felt your lip wobble under his harsh tone. You hated when he was mad at you and this time you had no idea what you did wrong.

"I said stay in the goddamn house... I- maybe I didn't. Shit" He huffs, looking down at the ground, the last of his tears dripping down. He loosened his grip on you, regret passing over his face. "Damnit!" He yanked at his hat angrily. "I'm sorry for yellin'. I thought- daddy thought you were gone. He was about to come out guns blazin''."

"I'm sorry!" You hug him, feeling bad even though you didn't do anything wrong.

"If somethin' happened to you... I wouldn't- fuck- I wouldn't know what to do." He mumbled into your hair, choking back a sob. You didn't correct him for the bad word because you realized how upset he was. You felt yourself tear up slightly as well. "I can't lose you. Do you understand? Daddy can't...." He doesn't finish his sentence.

"I won't run away daddy. I won't! I love you too much." You whisper against his soft shirt, some tears leaking out with how strongly you feel about it.

"I know I know..." Jack knelt down, cupping your face so you'd see the conviction in his eyes. "You're my good girl. Daddy knows you'd never run away from him. He thought- baby girl, there are bad people out there who would want to take you away from daddy. And he got so scared..." He sighed deciding not to scare you more with the details. You walked further into Jack's arms as if the bad people were trying to take you away now.

"Nooo don't let them get me, daddy!" You're scared to even think of that happening. This was your safe place, your person! "I would fight dem daddy." You hold your head high. "I wouldn't let them take me."

"That's my girl. We'll protect eachother, huh?" Jack chuckled, falling in love with you all the more.

"I love you, daddy." you're not sure what else to say so you just kiss him gently.

"It's okay..." He coos, maybe comforting himself as well. "It's all okay now."

"D-did I win?" You ask, biting your lip. You were little so you recovered from those serious conversations.

"Yes." He chuckled, trying to muster a smile. He wiped his eyes with the back of his hand. "You did. You- you may have outsmarted daddy a little too well this time."

"I'm sorry-"

"It's not your fault." He reassured you with a peck to your lips before standing up. "We'll stick to hide and seek in the house form now on, though. Why don't we go inside and see to your handsome reward?"

"Yes please!" You jump in excitement. A new stuffie just for you! You squeeze daddy's hand on the way back to the porch, the smell of home.

hello! ive been looking through your art and stuff and ive realised that you have this amazing way of shading (esp for clothes) that somehow makes everything look more 3d/pop out more but is very subtle. as someone who has a (relatively) simpler art style who can't go all out with the realistic shading and things like that - how do you do it?

Man I hate taking so long to answer asks that my art style changes BAHAHAHA

how long i took to get this ask aside, WAHHH IM GLAD U THINK SO HIGHLY OF MY ART... THAT REALLY DOES MEAN A LOT TO ME- i’ll try my best to explain how i go about coloring line artwork with an art piece of miss qatar, and hopefully it makes sense!

I’m a bit of a lazy bastard, so when I’m not looking to fully render my artwork in a style similar to my Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania painting, I tend to outline the shadows to make it easier on myself haha (altho it does require u to have a half decent knowledge of clothing folds so like how much easier it is... is debatable) After lining, I fill in base colors.

Then, I loosely color in areas of shadows and highlights- don’t worry about making this nice and clean, this is just about making sure you get the relative values down and that the lighting is accurate.

Once I’m done with that, I start rendering the shadows and colors in detail, giving it a lot more variation. I like to change the hue of the base color in the shades to make it more interesting, and one of my favorite techniques is to ring some shadows with a warmer, redder surround line to make it pop out!

When I’m done rendering the shadows, I duplicate the layer and using curves, manipulate the contrast to go higher, before using “Gradient Map” to choose a gradient map I like, then messing around with opacity and layer settings until I’m satisfied with the colors- this isn’t necessary, but I do it cuz I like the color variation it gives hehe

(Sorry if these images are a bit crunchy I used the timelapse to go back and take screenshots bahaha)

I mess around with the colors a bit more, making it warmer and more saturated (I find my ipad’s colors are wayyy more saturated than other screens so I usually edit in post to make up for it sdjfjsd) as well as tweaking colors here there- for example, I made the folds on the right shoulder a bit darker because I felt that the lighter colors were taking away too much attention from Qatar’s face and the left hand side. And then I’m done! Hope that helps anon!!

I actually wanted to do a fanmade Valentine Event but like never got to finish it since my brain isn't committed to long term plannings-

So I'm going to just drop it here for everyone to see (≧▽≦)!! + This is a base reason for me to do so because I did some character sketches for the said event (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)

Valentine Chase: Catch the Valentine's Hare!

Summary: Just as you were about to dance on the stage, you were swept away by a loveless wolf?! Looks like your companions have to chase down both you and the mysterious canine therian in this frenzied Valentine chase as you uncover the true motives of the cool headed and quiet wolf!

[The background is directed to the night sky, the full moon visible as it looms over a land adorned with growing pine trees]

???: This body....is barren. Nothing is blooming

(A wolf like silhouette appears into the screen)

He turned away to face the brightly lit moon, shining down it's light to the figures. How long has it been he wondered? He had them for company but it only seemed like the butterflies were the ones who truly understood him.

Ah yes, the arhopala anthelus or also known as the Oakblues butterfly, he didn't knew why he remembered the butterfly with such details but it stuck with him longer than he could remember. Swarms of it tend to follow him around, especially his enchanted arm that resembled to a dead tree's rotting branch, leaving bits of bark in its wake

???: Well you never know if you try

(A hooded silhouette appears, smaller and shorter than the previous silhouette)

The taller figure sighed, his gaze still fixed to the moon. It seems like he's ignoring them

???: .......

(The smaller silhouette shook violently temporarily, before slidding away to the side of the screen, disappearing from the scene)

[End Scene]

[Screen then fades away to black before shifting to a new scene]

Location: Shinjuku Concert Stadium

[The background is directed to a large stage decorated with multitudes of red,pink and white, each having a heart shaped cutout pattern to each end of the ribbons. The front of the stage had a single row of metal barriers to contain the fans from climbing up the stage]

[SFX: People chattering and the sounds of equipment moving]

Toji: That, I could agree with Ryota Yakushimaru. It is indeed refreshing to you like this

Agyo: MC, You look so cute in that!! Really fits your eyes! Hey could I get a picture with you? Pretty please?

Shiro: N-No! You look great! Not even the single strand of hair seems to stick out! You look wonderful as ever, MC! Though...you did took us off guard... especially me..cough! What was that? I said something? Possibly not, MC!

Kengo: Well what that nerd said about you looking great is the one thing I could agree on! Wonder if the clothes durable for a fight..Hey, MC! Wanna try sparing right here so we could test it out?!

Toji: Is fighting all you could think of Kengo? MC needs all the energy they can get since the event is going to last till night so could you at least use your muscle brain for once to consider MC's stature?

Kengo: Huh?! You tryna pick a fight with me calling me a muscle brain?!

Ryota: Guys! Could you stop it?! MC is going to perform soon and this whole fighting thing might bring their spirit down....

Toji:....My apologies

Kengo:Yeah I didn't think about it that way...so uh...sorry

Agyo: Apologies accepted! Come on, let's brighten those faces up with some candies I brought with me!

Everyone: Huh?!

Toji: You!...You!.. Gah...I am at loss of words of your high confidence, MC...You seem to know very well how push my buttons around....Gah! What's with that look?! Stop staring!

First of all, as I gained a lot of new followers, just an FYI: This is me watching Word of Honor for the first time and writing down my thoughts as I go. Mostly it's me being confused as hell and giving all the characters weird names, because I can't remember the real ones. If this is not your thing, feel free to skip these posts and maybe blacklist "smirklord"

To anybody who was here before: Sorry that it took me so long to continue this. I accidentally came across a spoiler about my purple queen and I was pretty bummed about it. So I stopped watching for a while. Also, the show is getting more complex and I'm having a harder time remembering who everybody is. But anyway, let's go!

Anyway, I'm glad Smirky Xing saved Baby Xu. Now, what's the thing he captured?

Baby Xu is hurt, thankfully he's also like a travelling pharmacist.

Oh, Smirky Xing, can I just point out that I have never before seen anybody accuse another person of being a serial killer with such a lovestruck expression on their face. And why do you keep insisting that you’re a good guy when nobody accused you of anything?

Oh, so the zombies and mummies weren't dead, but... living people controlled by someone? What?

LOL, "Do you have a dagger?" and Smirky Xing instantly pulls one out of his sleeve like it's no big deal, and who knows what else he keeps in there.

Ewww, is Baby Xu going to go stabbing at his own wounds? Please no.

Ewww, ewww, ewww. Oh, he's sucking out the poison I guess.

Waaah, what is Smirky Xing going to. - Oh. OMGOMGOMGOMG, eww, but also YESSS, you go for that shoulder kiss, honey, YES! (Sorry, I had to rewind that moment a couple times). Let's rename Smirky Xing to Kissy Xing.

Oh, and this once and for all gave Baby Xu's diguise away. He didn't put make-up on his shoulder.

'Can you show me your real appearance' my ass. He wants to see you naked. And Baby Xu reminds him of consent. I mean, trust. But, really... consent.

OMG, they're going to the lake. Is this gonna turn into the dirty dancing lifting figure scene? PLEASE?

Dude, what? Can you not swim? Baby Xu? You okay? He fell into the water, okay. But why doesn't he get back to the surface?????

Does he want to be saved? Please tell me he's not drowning. :O Kissy Xing looks so worried.

Okay, okay, okay. Clothes on the drying rack, they're basically in their undies. And kissy Xing can't stop staring at Baby Xu's real face.

Real face baby Xu looks so much softer. Still pissy though, did he seriously just wipe the bottle neck? Come on, man. You had his lips suck on your skin already. I'm sure you can take his spit.

So kissy Xing's name is really Wen Ke Xing. And his face is really his face. I do wanna trust him so much. His voice is so soft all of a sudden. Wahhhh.

Oh, so the item they captured was from hanging ghost? But not the real one?

Kissy Xing, you killed the ghost guy while Baby Xu wanted to interrogate him. You say it was a mistake cause you were worried, but you could still very well be nuts guy and make sure nobody gives you away!

Okay, Baby Zi Shu figured out the item box thing? Is the blue glass thing the glazed armor??? Tbh, it looks a bit like the plastic part of some kid's braces.

Yooo, Kissy Xing coming in hot with the rabbit dowry.

Whoa, Baby Zi Shu just throws the glazed armor over to Kissy Xing, like it's no big deal. He really really doesn't want it. Nice return gift, though.

Okay, what is this flirting? Baby Zi Shu keeps stating that he's a bad guy you need to be terrified of, much like Kissy Xing kept saying he's a good guy. And now he's calling Kissy Xing a trouble.

LOL, Kissy Xing agrees on the gift idea. He wants to carry it on his body. Nice.

K, k, it's uncle Zhao's glazed armor. The kid must have his own armor somehow. And the ghost guys are trying to play all the other parties and make them doubt each other. I see.

Kissy Xing is so whipped, wow. He'll do anything, including gutting the rabbits.

LOL, they're trying to give the kid food. Like that EVER worked before at all. No, uncle Zhao, you dimwit, he does NOT have a good appetite, lol.

Why is everybody giving the kid a hard time about crying. His family got murdered, his two adopted dads left him all alone with the two weird uncles... Of course he's gonna cry. Duh.

Ah, geez, Uncle Shen, just shut up. You know nothing. (he's not smart enough to be called a-hole guy anymore, sorry)

Okay, so, three glazed armor pieces have been stolen from their owners. But Uncle Zhao still has his? Then whose piece was stolen the other night? What? And who is brother Lu? Was that the kid's dad?

Now there's two more older guys, who are they? Oh, one is Lord of Broken Sword Manor. Wait, wasn't that magenta guy? Or was that his son? Somebody PLEASE fill me in here.

The other one is brother Yu, whoever that is.

Seriously, every time pleated skirt soldier boss jerk uncle shen a-hole guy opens his mouth I wanna slap him.

Kissy Xing and Baby Zi Shu are wearing new clothes. When and where did they change? Were they together when they changed? Hehe, I need to know. For science.

They are returning to the bamboo woods and the bodies from the previous night are gone. Kissy Xing asks why Baby Zi Shu had the antidote to the hallucination drug. Actually, good question. Baby Zi Shu, why DID you have the antidote? Oh, it's a Window of Heaven thing?

WHATWHATWHAT? The illusion makes people see what they WANT THE MOST? And Baby Zi Shu drops this knowledge just like that while WE know that Kissy Xing called him by his real name, i.e. saw HIM, whilst under the illusion??? WHAT???

Nooo, Kissy Xing, why are you lying? Why won't you tell what you saw when you hallucinated? I wanna know too, gah!!!

Yo, Baby Zi Shu DEVELOPED the illusion drug? As a sleep remedy, lol. Nice.

K, who's the guy in the carriage at Sanbai Manor? Han Ying. Who is that? Have we seen him before?

Did Baby Zi Shu just tell Kissy Xing the truth about himself killing people, setting them on fire etc.? That came out super smooth.

They're talking about this heroes conference that was mentioned before, but I have no idea what it is, and what it relates to. I'm so bad at remembering TV series plotlines... I'm assuming that this conference is where the uncles take the kid to.

Aww, Baby Zi Shu keeps close by and watches over the kid.

Kissy Xing wants 30 copies of the glazed armor piece. And he is freaking rich, man.

Waaaah, my purple queen! I've missed her so much. And she's kept the other girls around. And they're playing strip mahjong, apparently, lol. Yes, good for her! Also, Bechdel test passed! Nice.

Where are they anyway? Which town is this? Was this mentioned, did I miss it?

K, so Kissy Xing wants to pay the two girls out so they'll leave (very obviously), but they don't want to. Is he going to make my queen kill them after all? And she gives him nuts in return. Hmm. I mean, seriously. He MUST be nuts guy. There were SO MANY hints.

Oh, he lets them stay and become My queen's servants.

What? What is this secret plan? What are they gonna do with the fake pieces of glazed armor?

Okay, what have I learned: Baby Zi Shu's real name! And that Kissy Xing knows him from somewhere. Also learned what glazed armor pieces look like. My queen loves playing strip mahjong. And people are meeting up for some heroes conference.

Goals for future episodes: Find out how Kissy Xing and Baby Zi Shu know each other. Finally finish that name chart thing and add all the new people, omg.

Baby!Into1 x Daycare au | Intro

(ft. Bo Yuan as the caretaker of the 10 chaotic bunch, ranging from the ages of 3-5)

a/n: hello hello yumi here~ so this is the first into1 au of mine that will ever see the light of day. at first I was going to write things for it, but honestly I'm going to make it into a series with incorrect quotes to attach with it. this post will be the bios of all the babies and our lovely caretaker Bo Yuan, so enough of me babbling and I hope you guys could enjoy~

First off, we have the Caretaker™ Bo Yuan:

my mans is like in his 20's rn

wanted to open up a little day care as like side job/internship because he wanted to teach kids in the future so he was like “might as well start working with kids now!”

and so

he did it

only regretted his life decisions when his devil number 1 and devil number 2 does something bad

other times he really enjoy looking after them! and he doesn’t even feel like it’s a job!

has been thinking about taking a field trip with all 10 of them but he’s afraid: 1) he might lose one 2) he might lose himself 3) can they behave themselves

his favorite thing to do is having all of them gather around while reading a fairytale to them for nap time

or sometimes he would sing a song

he has a lot of favorite things in day care, literally having all 10 of them just there makes him happy

except when lin mo and nine is having a scream off:

lin mo: ahh

nine: aHH

lin mo: AHH

nine: AHHHHH-

bo yuan, running into the room: what’s wrong?

ak: screaming

bo yuan: why?

patrick, with his hands over his ears: TO SEE WHOS LOUDER

all the other boys: *nods*

isnt always watching the kids 24/7, since day 1 when the kids came in he told them the rules of the daycare and kinda just let them familiarize the place

(bo yuan: its a daycare, and they are kids, they are suppose to have fun!

keyu, in the back, mumbles: i wanna climb the tree in the yard

bo yuan, turns around: keyu no)

And now we have the kids!!

Liu Yu:

4 years old

very quiet, just likes to sit and read and draw

the most obedient one, and likes to follow around bo yuan

well,, most of the time

he’s played a few pranks on bo yuan like:

bo yuan: liu yu nap time is over you have to wake up

liu yu: *not moving*

bo yuan, gently nudged liu yu: liu yu wake up!

liu yu: *continues to fake sleep and not move*

bo yuan: *leans closer to liu yu’s face to make sure hes not sick or has a fever*

liu yu, scares bo yuan: WAH

bo yuan: liu yu dont do that! you scared me!

liu yu: *giggles*

likes to stretch and bend himself in odd positions

(bo yuan: everyday I’m in fear that he will snap himself in half)

kinda an introvert but once he hangs around everyone for a bit he will open up to them and fit himself in very well

likes to organize and keep things how he found them/have special places where he organizes his toys

jiayuan: *moves liu yu’s fan*

liu yu: hey! put that back!!

has really good etiquettes and never really fights or argues or bicker with the other kids

but likes to joke around and mess around with once in a while

patrick: wahhh i put my cupcakes here who took one!

liu yu, hiding it behind his back: idk maybe keyu took it?

the least of bo yuan’s worries since he’s always in bo yuan’s sight, also he’s aware of his surroundings so he actually helps bo yuan make sure everything’s okay

(bo yuan: i made a checklist for myself on the whiteboard and liu yu likes to check things off for me, he said “coloring in the boxes is fun” so now he's the reason why i get all my work done)

Santa:

4 years old

riki’s best friend

super happy and bright, like a ray of sunshine

is easily scared

lin mo: hi

santa: WAHHHHH BO YUAN GEGE

really likes bo yuan, would stick on to him a lot and ask him about everything

santa: bo yuan gege whats this?

santa: bo yuan gege what’s that?

santa: bo yuan gege what are you making right now?

hangs out with liu yu and mika a lot (other than riki)

riki is older than him but would hold riki’s hand and take him around like a didi

also really likes racing with mika for E V E R Y T H I N G

(bo yuan: yeah couple days ago they tried to race who can fall asleep faster but because they kept on peeking at each other so they basically didn’t sleep till i said i’ll watch for them)

really likes to dance, every time he hears music he would start grooving around

loves learning new things, which is probably the reason why he always asks bo yuan so many questions

also least one of bo yuan’s worries, just gotta make sure jiayuan and lin mo don’t pull pranks on him

(bo yuan: well they dont really pull prank pranks, its just once lin mo grabbed a frog and started running around and showing it to everyone, but lin mo lost grip and the frog jumped on santa)

Rikimaru:

5 years old

looks like he’s 3, acts like he’s 3, but is actually 5

best friends with santa! always sticks around him and likes to tug on a corner of his shirt out of habit

bo yuan: alright everyone it’s nap time! i’ve made the beds for everyone

riki, sees his bed is not next to santa: bo yuan gege can you switch my bed next to santa? i wanna be next to santa

he didn’t start speaking till he was 4 so he often stutters when he talk and just looks confused a lot (it's because he’s thinking and formulating his words)

santa and the other kids would always have to interpret for him

bo yuan: riki I brought some snacks today do you want cookies or marshmallows?

riki: ???

santa, motioning with his hands: bo yuan gege said do you want the white fluffies or brown crunchies

riki: oh! crunchies!

squishy cheeks,, bo yuan’s favorite thing is to squish his cheek everytime he sees him

riki: gud mooning bo yuan gege!

bo yuan, squishes riki’s cheeks: ahh I haven’t seen you in so long good morning!!

nine: wait wasnt riki here yesterday??

also likes to stretch,, often seen around with liu yu and they just help each other

(bo yuan: i am afraid he will snap himself in half too)

not too much of bo yuan’s worries, besides the fact that he might get kidnapped because he’s so oblivious

(bo yuan: we were playing outside in the yard once and riki just wandered off because he thought the neighbor’s flowers were pretty)

Mika:

4 years old

also kinda an introvert, doesn’t interact with too many people

usually it’s santa that approaches him first or keyu^^

found a ukulele in the toy bin one time and wouldn’t let go of it (he claims it’s his now)

his favorite activity at daycare is when they all sing together, that’s when he smiles the most and has the most fun

the one that likes to nap the most

also likes to help bo yuan cook once in a while (mostly just having mika washing vegetables and passing things to bo yuan)

very laid back and not noisy (till he starts playing the ukulele)

often gets scared by lin mo’s sudden screams (actually, lin mo scares a lot of people, sorry to mika’s ears)

also not one of bo yuan’s worries, literally there’s nothing to worry about with mika, all the kids just likes to sit around mika and pet his head so he keeps everyone safe

(bo yuan: one time I couldn’t find any of the kids in the play room, apparently they were all in the napping corner petting mika’s head since he just got a hair cut)

Nine:

4 years old

loud, very loud.

pouts a lot

everyone calls nine cute, even the boys who are younger than him

likes to boss around patrick because he’s older

nine: patrick gimme that juice box!

patrick: you’re closer you get it!

nine: i’m older than you!

literally scared of everything

if he hasn’t seen it before and it’s living, he’s scared

jiayuan: *holds a bowl of tadpoles*

nine, several feet away: WAHHH WHAT IS THAT

the happiest when he gets snacks + real food food

also really likes to sing!! his favorite thing is watching disney movies because there’s so much music in it and he just loves to sing along

he’s not part of bo yuan’s worries because he’s literally scared of everything, but nine is really naive and would do things that the other kids tell him to do so, it’s a 50/50 on nine

(bo yuan: there was an edible decorative flower on keyu’s birthday cake couple days ago, and somehow jiayuan convinced nine all flowers were edible. so today during outside time nine almost ate the neighbor’s flowers)

Lin Mo:

3 years old

LOUD. VERY LOUD.

probably the craziest most hyper one out of them all

he and jiayuan always have something bad planned

literally doesn’t have a moment where he’s calm

constantly in bickering mode with ak

lin mo: NO IM RIGHT

ak: NO. IM RIGHT

patrick: what are they arguing about?

keyu: *shrugs*

but is also best friends with ak so he’s also calm around him

(bo yuan: yeah these two have on and off days, you can never predict it)

and also constantly naruto runs around the daycare

bo yuan: lin mo stop running!

lin mo: *nyoom*

he also once nyoomed into keyu

keyu: ow what was that for?

lin mo: you were in my way!

and now he nyooms into keyu for fun

a very good mood maker

likes to smile/laugh a lot

would calm down if you show him a movie or a cartoon

number 2 on bo yuan’s worry list because he’s the "bad influence" for everyone, also he reduces hearing for everyone

(bo yuan: i’ve secretly made a tally book on how many times i have to say “lin mo” in a concerning tone this week and he came in 2nd. he was only here for like 3 days!)

Zhang Jiayuan:

3 years old

YOURE THREE STOP SMIRKING LIKE THAT

couple months younger than lin mo but this is the real culprit under a lot of his and lin mo‘s plans

it’s just because jiayuan has a lot of crazy ideas and he says them out loud and lin mo is just like “yes”

also sometimes they are just accidents, but he's always doing weird questionable things with lin mo

got really sad one time because he brought tadpoles and put them in the fish tank and killed them since the fish went nom

but then started to constantly catch for tadpoles to feed the fishes

bo yuan: jiayuan stop, you’re killing the frog population!

jiayuan: but the fishies are hungry *pouts*

likes to fight/mess around with keyu for no reason

keyu: *sitting there, drawing*

jiayuan, with a squishy hammer: *bops keyu’s head*

but also will protect keyu if anyone tries to mess with him

lin mo: *nyooms into keyu for the 3rd time of the day* jiayuan, hugs keyu: stop hurting him!

the calmest thing he likes to do is taking care of plants, probably because he saw bo yuan spraying the plants one time and he like to squeeze the spray bottle

number 1 on bo yuan’s worry list, this child is literally not safe alone or with anyone. they were trying to celebrate keyu’s birthday and jiayuan tried to touch the candles, while it was lit, by the flame.

(bo yuan: i just got the tablets and haven’t set up children mode, so i’ll take the blame for this one. but also why are kids so good with technologies nowadays??)

Patrick:

3 years old

squishy :D

favorite thing is nap time and snack time

somehow knows every location where bo yuan hides their snacks

bo yuan: *getting the snacks that he hid in the piano*

patrick: *sitting next to the window sill with the snack* hi~

of course bo yuan can never get mad at patrick for eating the snacks because patrick doesn’t do anything bad

also he's a growing child

best friends with keyu,, and drags him on to “adventures”

*the daycare got a new toy play house*

patrick: bo yuan gege, keyu and I are moving out so we can go on an adventure!

keyu: I didnt agree to this??

wants bo yuan to add dress up into the daycare games, since he wants to dress up the other boys in the daycare

patrick: i call it, patrick fashion!

not part of bo yuan’s worries till he’s on his hunt for the hidden snacks, just because bo yuan is afraid he might hurt himself

(bo yuan: i started hiding the snacks higher up and one time i saw him trying to climb on keyu’s shoulders to grab it)

Zhou Keyu:

3 years old

smart, but really clueless at the same time

tall, but has the personality of smol

likes to draw

also likes to read with patrick,, but usually patrick falls asleep so it’s him, the book, and a sleeping patrick

wears glasses all the time since his vision isn’t so good but somehow he makes glasses look good on him???

has a chain with his glasses because there too many glasses incident with keyu

glasses #1 keyu: I don’t like them! *takes it off and loses it*

glasses #2 keyu: *takes them off for nap time, but riki accidentally rolled on to them and snapped it*

glasses # we don’t know how many: *disconnected from the keyu universe*

also like a month younger than lin mo but literally has to make sure lin mo doesnt “blow” the place up

lin mo: what if I stuck this fork into the pluggie thing?

keyu, picking lin mo up: nope you’re not

when keyu is clueless he either stands there or just sit there and space out, not really noticeable but bo yuan ran into him doing that a couple times

(bo yuan: I thought he was an ai that was malfunctioning, it scared me at first but now I know he just doesn’t remember what he’s doing)

oh did I mention this,, even though he’s one of the youngest, he’s the tallest, with that advantage he likes to try to pick people up

jiayuan: keyu pick me up!

keyu: no

patrick: keyu likes me more he will pick me up!

keyu: no

patrick: *pouts*

keyu: *tries to pick both jiayuan and patrick up at the same time*

bo yuan, running over: ZHOU KEYU PUT THEM DOWN YOULL BREAK YOURSELF

not too high up on bo yuan’s worry list, give him a piece of paper or book or anything he would just calmly sit there and do something with it

(bo yuan: every time when we do art or reading its so hard to pry keyu away, he has to finish what he was doing and he’s so concentrated he doesn’t hear anybody)

Liu Zhang (AK):

4 years old

loud, VERY LOUD.

he doesn’t know he’s loud

bo yuan: ak you don’t have to yell

ak: OKAY

monopolized over all the instrument music type of toys in the daycare

bo yuan: ak you know you have to share your toys right?

ak: I gave the ukulele to mika

honestly having ak is like having a walking megaphone so bo yuan ended up actually making ak his little helper for announcements

bo yuan: ak go tell everyone is lunch time

ak: alright!

ak: *da da da running to fetch his little stool*

ak, stands on a little stool in the middle of the play room: ITS LUNCH TIMEEEEEE-

nine, swats ak’s leg: YOU SCARED ME

the only time ak is quiet is when he��s around lin mo, he kinda just likes to watch lin mo and follow him around so that’s that

unless lin mo starts messing with him, then you just lose your hearing for the day

also at first bo yuan was trying to see what ak is interested in, and he taught ak hot cross buns on the bells and thought that would calm ak down,, but oops ak ended up making more noises

patrick: I WANNA SLEEP AK

(bo yuan: I swear something happened to this kid or something. he’s not hard of hearing but he’s just naturally so loud)

i too would lose my hearing if im around ak so much

not to high on bo yuan’s worries but he just make sure ak isn’t being too loud and bothering the other kids, usually he’s pretty good about that but you never know when a little patrick will start napping or anyone really so gotta contain his energy

(bo yuan: ak is usually the first one that’s awake from nap time but its usually like 5-10min before everyone else so i told him he can go and play but he just has to be quiet)
