🌼 daisy: what is their love language, both giving and receiving?

– One of Shu's love languages would be words of affirmation. He's not one to seek out sudden touch, but he would be able to give you praise when the situation is right. He's not shy to dish out compliments either. In a mellow voice, he would state how beautiful you looked, a small smile appearing on his face with a softened gaze.

– His other love language would be gift giving. He excels in crafts, especially sewing and lace knitting, and he would eventually start making you a variety of beautiful garments that he had designed himself. He refers to you as his muse, a doll that he wants to cherish and love, so creating these things for you not only inspires him, but it makes you feel appreciated too.

– When it comes to receiving, Shu prefers quality time above anything else. He may appreciate acts of service too, but spending time with you is always something he looks forward to. Being in your presence calms him as you're one to listen to his rambles. The two of you would either sit in silence with Shu sewing something as you read a book or talk about things that fill your mind which Shu finds particularly odd, but slightly intriguing. Well, as long as it's you, he won't mind.

🌼 marigold: how jealous do they get? how do they react when they get jealous?

– On a scale of 1 - 10, a 7 is how jealous Shu would get. He's beyond the point of 'possessing' someone, and he has since developed as a person, but that characteristic lingers within him when he notices how jealous he is at that moment.

– Supposedly, he only gets jealous when you're with people that he doesn't know or like. His face would scrunch up, eyebrows narrowing in irritation before leaving the situation to yourself.

– Despite how annoyed he is, he'll try his best not to take it out on you. However, he does confront you about it as he admits his jealousy. You'll have to reassure him that you'll find nobody in the world that you love as much as you love him.

🌼 sunflower: how would they confess their feelings to their crush?

– He was unsure of his feelings before, but seeing how his day would become a bit brighter with your radiance, he knew for a fact that he loved you. You were such a special person to him, so he would want to create something special for you.

– So for his confession, he decided to make you something. He believed that gifting you something of high value that he had made with his own hands would impress you. In addition, he had bought flowers, red carnations specifically, which symbolise love. By setting the perfect atmosphere, he was sure that this confession would go his way.

– It did. When you entered the room, Shu was already there waiting. The sunlight reflected off his pink hair, and he smiled so radiantly that it almost blinded you.

"(Y/N)," he said fondly, taking your hand in his.

And as he poured out his feelings for you, you would be close to tears. With the bouquet of carnations held tightly to your chest, Shu would wrap the lace-knitted scarf around your neck. It was beautiful and soft, something you didn't think you deserved, but he thought would look gorgeous on someone like you.

▶ Shu finds it hard to express his love in words, but his stubbornness is what reveals himself. He hides his true thoughts with harsh words, most of his complaints hide the fact he's worrying over you.

▶ Although Mademoiselle says the truth of his words it always leaves Shu studdering denying it and trying to come up with an excuse.

▶ He really needs mutual trust in order to open up affectionately, shu is a private and reserved person. But when he finally does open up to you he shows his weakness through his affection. His shoulders untense when he hugs you and even his face relaxes when he kisses you.

▶ As much as he complains whenever you give him affection he never pulls away, he'll complain about how too busy but never makes an effort to shoo you away. He'll have a bright blushed face because he very clearly doesn't want you to leave, he actually gets disappointed if you do pull away.

▶ He shows affection the most with his works, he genuinely enjoys your reaction after he gives you new clothing to wear. He loves to look at you in his creations, especially if he made you something that matches him.

▶His ego is extremely boosted whenever you praise or compliment him, it makes him more touchy and vulnerable with you.

▶ Shu has a tight schedule makes it hard to plan stuff with you, he really tries his best to make time for you so you can spend time together on a date.

▶ Shu doesn't ask to cuddle with you, instead he just pulls you into him. A secret of his is that he admires you when you're sleeping, he stares as he moves your hair from your face. He thinks you look regal.

▶ Shu wants the day to be completely perfect but just being with you is perfect enough.

▶ Mika always loved being around you even before officially dating, although the thought of ever confessing to you made him extremely nervous. But after he does he's head over heels, your affection can get him completely flustered.

▶ He doesn't have a problem expressing himself to you, he says his thoughts without thinking although he can be anxious and hesitant sometimes. It really depends on what you're talking about, but his feelings for you is something that'll never hesitate to talk about.

▶ Mika shows his love with his worry, if you're upset he's quick to do anything to cheer you up. Most of the time he holds you tight while he says sweet words of comfort.

▶ Mika prefers to keep physical affection private though, pda makes him nervous and you might make him fait because of how flustered he'll get. In private he melts completely with your kisses, the color of his face will always be tinted red.

▶ He can talk about you endlessly to any of his friends, everything you do he thinks is amazing. He's a total fanboy rambling about you and any of your hobbies, or even just how your presence makes him feel.

▶ He really likes to give you gifts, he wants to do anything to keep a smile on your face even if it's a bit pricey. He can't help the fact he wants to spoil you.

▶ He tries to spend as much time as you as he can in between his idol work with valkyrie, he loves doing simple things together even if it's just you watching him sew.

▶ Mika loves to cuddle with you, it doesn't matter if he's a big spoon or not as long as you're physically close to him. It takes him a while to fall sleep with you because it makes him so happy inside he's wide awake.

Napping with Valkyrie

Mika, like any other black cat, loves to sleep in the warmth of the sun.

He's napped out on benches, beneath trees, once even on the floor of the handicrafts room while he was waiting for Shu to finish alterations on their costumes.

However, it was when he first moved into the dorms and Ritsu, that Mika learned the joy of napping with another.

There’s a closeness that he’s appreciated from those dear to him, even outside of a romantic context. He’s just a cuddler!

Once he started collecting plushies, he had at least one near by to hold onto. During his crushing stage, there definitely wasn’t one he named after you and would imagine was you, yearning to be able to hold you tight...

Once you started to date, however, he’s always been the clingy type of partner - pulling you close so that you’re leaning on his shoulder when you watch movies together, having you sit on his lap when the two of you are both just scrolling on your phones, and essentially attaching himself to your arm when you’re out shopping for fabric.

He adores the feeling of you. Your warmth, the slow rise and fall of your chest as you breathe, the pressure of you on top of him… Genuine, physical facts that you are there and with him in that moment.

As much as Mika likes to spoon, he actually prefers for you to be cuddled up beside him and resting your head on his chest.

In a perfect world, you’d just be directly on top of him without worrying about it being comfortable for him… He can handle it, even if you hear something crack or pop, he’s not that scrawny anymore! It’s just like a weighted blanket-

...That’s something he’ll try to convince you to do on another day.

Today, however, he just needs some time with you. You’ve both had a long day, and it wasn’t even dinnertime yet. So… like clockwork, he drags you off to the couch for a nap to recharge.

Mika’s essentially formed a nice little nest out of his spare blankets, with just enough space for the both of you to lie down and be snuggled up together.

He lies down first, then lets you get comfortable and find the right position before he’ll wrap his arms around you. He tends to have a hand wander and eventually find its way into your hair, playing with it until he dozes off.

Sometimes, Mika ends up waking up before you. That’s a real treat for him… he loves how peaceful you look when you sleep – just getting to watch you at rest with him makes him feel all fuzzy inside.

Shu Itsuki and naps do not usually come hand in hand.

Usually, he keeps a strict sleep schedule to ensure his own health and maintain the proper work balance between schoolwork and his idol activities.

Though, it's due to his stubbornness that he's wound up passed out in the snow when he still was attending Yumenosaki. While he hasn't worked himself to absolute exhaustion, he still is prone to pushing himself far to meet deadlines.

You're dear to Shu, and your presence is absolutely vital to his work when he's on a time crunch.

He trusts you enough, about as much as he trusts Mika at this point, to assist in simple sewing tasks.

So, as the sun rises and creeps through the curtains, you finish applying bias tape to the sleeves of Shu's most recent commission. You're wiped, but you can't seem to convince yourself to go to sleep if it means more work for Shu...

Shu looks at you sleepily rub your eyes, placing your pin cushion on the table, and his heart aches. There was still another day until the deadline... perhaps the two of you have done enough for now.

He quickly makes a baste stitch with the applique he had been fussing over, then stands. He walks to the couch and grabs a shawl he had knit months ago. You don't really think much of it, until you realize he's not by the couch anymore... and is in fact standing behind your chair.

"Come, mon Amour." he whispers in your ear, wrapping the shawl around your shoulders. "I've decided that I can't stand watching your constitution waste away, so we shall be going to bed."

It's an obvious excuse, a way for him to say he too is tired without admitting such weakness and instead using you as an excuse It was something you'd normally point out, until he gives your shoulder a gentle kiss - a silent apology for not deciding to rest sooner.

... Alright, you'll let him off easy this time.

Whisking you off to his bedroom, he first ensures your own comfort once he lays you down - fussing over your position and making sure that the sheets are adequate.

On one side, he tucks you in, before he gets in on the other side. He ensures you're still wrapped in the shawl as he holds you, so that if the two of you separate in your sleep, you'll still have a part of him holding you as you rest.

Shu watches you as you drift off, gently brushing his fingers through your hair and humming softly. He always makes sure you fall asleep first.

Feeling the knit lace pattern of the shawl between his fingers, a habit to keep him from fretting about the unfinished work, he finally drifts off to sleep with you in his arms.

In a few hours you'll both wake up and get back to work, likely with a cup of caffeinated tea to help. For now, however... he'll rest.

this is so cute 😭

Coming home to you baking is one of his favourite parts of his day! He loves the smell of homemade goods being baked (especially crossants). Just the smell of warm pastries or cakes makes him feel relaxed after a long day of training.

Definitely wants to share whatever you’ve baked to Mika! The two of them will eat a few baked goods during their breaks together, and they talk about how much they like it before starting to practice again.

Open to the idea of baking with you! His schedule is difficult but he tries to make it work. Baking with Shu would relaxing for the both of you, he’s happy he gets to enjoy something with his s/o (especially making croissants). Even if you’re just baking something such as cookies, he’ll offer to help you.

He’s happy his s/o has a hobby such as baking, he likes seeing your recipies, trying anything you’ve baked and watching how passionate you are! He brags about how delicious your baked goods are to people!

A Dance of Death.

Warnings: mentions of death/blood, sharp objects, the dark

Today was the day you were going to a ball with Shu. It was quite exciting since the theme was more of a wine red and black type of thing. Just imagine what you wore. Shu wore a fancy suit, mostly black but had a bit of the red in it.

"Hm, you actually wore the dress/suit. I'm not surprised. It is indeed beautiful." He smirked

"Of course! Why wouldn't I?" You smiled as he took your hand and led you in the mansion.

Once you both entered, everyone was wearing the same type of dress as yours, the dress you wore was better. You looked around to see many guests chatting, some type of music.. the music sounded rather odd for this type of ball. Then, around 20 minutes later, the host's announced to dance all of a sudden.

"Can you dance?" Shu asked

"I-.. can't." You sighed

"Hmph.. follow my lead then" as he said this, he started dancing. You put an arm on his shoulder and the other, he held your hand. He put an arm on your waist and held your other hand. Once th music started, Shu looked to the side, noticing the music was rather..odd like what you commented earlier.

The guests were dancing with their partners until, the lights turned off, making you let go of Shu. You looked around in the pitch black darkness.

He grabbed your hand, whispering in your ear.

"Shhh.. You'll be alright, my dear.." he said, making you calm down. He wrapped an arm around you, making you feel safe.

Once the lights came back on, the host was murdered infront of everyone... You looked at them, your eyes widened and looked back at Shu.

"We have to get..out of here... It's not saf-" He grabbed you and was stopped by the guards, telling him no one else can leave until the murderer is found.

"Great.. we have to stay until the murderer is figured out.. who knows we'll even find them" you mumble

"Don't worry, Mon Chéri... I'll be here. Stay close to me." He smiles as he looks around, observing other guests.

The music starts playing again, making everyone dance again. You looked at Shu, feeling terrified as he looked back at you, a smile on his face hiding his fear. Everyone's look on their face was them smiling in fear or a terrified look on their face.

Once again, the lights flicker and turn off. You wrap your arms around him as he wraps an arm on your back, calming you down.

You felt him move a bit as he pat your head with his other hand. As the lights turn back on, another person lays on the floor, with a plush toy. There was a clue of a bit of black fabric near the body. Only four people had the same black fabric, two women and two men.

You stayed close to him as he wrapped his arm around your waist. Looking up at him as less people were chatting, he looked back at you, softly smiling.

Nothing will go wrong..right? Shu will protect you, right?

It was the last remaining guests, you nervously clung onto Shu, holding him tight

"Shh, Mon Chéri.. You'll be.. alright. I am right by your side."

You smiled at him as you both danced slowly. Oh how you wished it was just a normal ball and not this serious life or death thing going on. It was so difficult to find the murderer, especially since they're so hard to find.

As the lights went off, you hugged him tighter. You felt his cold hand on your back, sending shivers down your spine. The lights went back on and you see another dead woman with no hints at all. The blood reached to Shu's leg.

"Tsk! It got my outfit ruined.. ugh.." he sighed, looking at you.

The remaining guests looked at Shu, glaring at him. Your eyes widen and try protecting him obviously. They really think he's the murderer. He would never do such! You just know it.

"Shu's innocent! I know it! Just trust him. Please.." the guests whispered to eachother and trusted you. The lights turned off, the guests kept lessening by minute. Suddenly, the lights turn off. You hug Shu tightly until he whispered.

"Thank you, Mon Chéri.. for this journey and night together." He whispered in your ear.

"Shu..? What do you...-" you feel him stab you. Feeling betrayed and angered, you look up at him.

"Shu.. i- what..." you mumbled. "It's game over... it has been fun." He kisses your cheek as you drop to the ground. You heard him chuckle. It's the end already? You've never felt like this ever.

He was looking for you too, anxiously wondering where you could've went to and was beyond surprised when he sees you suddenly appear behind him with cat ears and tails. You'd turn into a cat-hybrid?!

He thought that it was his fault because he was looking for you and apologized profusely because of it, but when you assured him it's not, he was even more confused.

Perhaps... It's because he's been acting so suspicious these past few days? Is that why you turned out like this...? Ah, he messed up again, please forgive him!

Once he calmed down, you explained that it was because of from a mistake a friend made, but he still couldn't wrap his head around how exactly could someone do that.

But you look especially cute and innocent with those cat ears and tail, it's not like you never looked any innocent or cuter before this whole thing, but he just couldn't help it! His mind was thinking of such impure things. He wishes he could keep you inside the walls for himself and cuddle with you!

He knows it's a disgusting thought and he apologizes profusely a thousand times, but he really can't help himself. Not only do you look so cute and innocent — and pettable too he couldn't refrain himself from petting your head.

He would apologize profusely for even daring to touch you with his filthy hands and was shocked to hear you telling him to pet you more. He's hesitant, he doesn't want to taint your purity as much as he already, but neither did he want to see you sad.

So he kept petting your head and got really flustered when he heard you purr, almost like a cat would.

After a while, he would get more comfortable and even start hugging you to bury his head into the crook of his neck as he mindlessly rambles about how cute you are it almost sounds like a confession or something.

He would do anything to help you to return back to your normal self, but you know... It's not that he doesn't want to, but he really hopes you won't return to your human self just yet. You are just too cute and he wants to coddle and kiss you just for a while you're this cute to him.

He expects nothing, yet you always manage surprise him in the most mind boggling way possible... And from the way you suddenly appear on the footstep of his door looking like a sopping wet cat especially with your added cat-like features he just knew one thing; whatever happened, Natsume and his wizardry must've been the cause of this.

Yet he didn't want to accuse that kid of being the root of the problem yet. How did you even... Gain a sentient pair of cat ears and tails? Is this some sort of prank you're playing on him? If so, he's the least amused right now.

Or so he says — actually, he finds you really cute and the fact that you suddenly appeared on in front of his door one day as a cat-person...? It sounds like something out of his nightmare but he finds it extremely endearing.

Like in a way he would find a sopping wet cat in the middle of the street and take it home kind of way.

You never answered his question on how you gained cat-like features while also maintaining your human form, you just invited yourself into his apartment and made yourself home on his couch.

Normally, he would scold you for the lack of manners, but this time he didn't. You look a bit too cute for him to yell at (not that he will ever fully admit it), alas be just sighs and chooses to ignore you and went straight back to sewing his clothes.

He tries to ignore you, really, but sometimes his eyes would trail off to you and his heart would skip a beat a little. His body was telling him to pat your ear, but he was too prideful to do such thing. Never in a million years will he willingly pet your cat ears by his free will.

Then all of the sudden, you appeared out of nowhere and hugged him tightly from behind. He was shocked and flustered, but his heart beats even faster when you continued to rub your face against his shoulder blades.

How improper! Distracting him off his work because you wanted some hug? Couldn't you just wait for later? He's really about to scold you, but when you gently brought his hand to your head, he realized one thing: he is now never going to finish sewing that clothes by today even though he swore himself to.

All thoughts about his work were begrudgingly cast aside as he went on to ramble on how you should not do such thing anymore in the future while your head is rested on his lap and is being softly caressed by his hand. He especially likes to play with your cat ears.

This is the first and last time he'll indulge in your ridiculous behavior. Next time, if this happens again and you were to turn into some sort of cat-person, he will not let you in! Deal with this problem with that kid yourself.

He also notices you've grown to develop habits almost a kin to a cat due to your little scientific mishap. He won't hesitate to spray you with water if you knock anything off where it should be even if he's spoiling you rotten with his affection, so don't test him. (threat)

And even if he thinks you are annoying as a cat feline person — whatever you were turned into, he can't lie that he thinks you're absolutely cute and you don't seem to be in any rush to return back to normal, so just this once; let him bury his face into your head for a while. It's embarrassing to be this so affectionate with you but you are just too cute he can't help himself.

Dating Shu Itsuki had it’s perks.

Like him spontaneously gifting Y/n a beautiful dress or anything he decided to make for her at the time. But, one side a lot of people didn’t know, was that he often grew distant of his lover. She would patiently wait for his arrival at late hours with a warm smile and open arms, but he simply greeted her and left to shower and get ready for bed.

Of course, it’s understandable for him to be tired of working relentlessly as an idol and a designer. Even so, that gesture made Y/n rethink everything they’ve been through, some including fights or general disagreements between couples that always ended up the same way: with a hug and apology coming from them both.

At the same time, it wasn’t easy dealing with how Shu felt about Valkyrie’s sudden downfall, he couldn’t think of anything else except the faces of the crowd staring at him in disgust. Y/n tried helping him get out of that depression he felt, but to no avail. It went on as to Shu had yelled at her for dropping something so small as a cup during one of their arguments

“Can’t you do anything right at all?!” Shu yelled in anger as tears prickled her eyes, she stiffened her cries and picked up some shards before Shu had realized what he had done. He tried lending a hand but she just took the broken shards and threw them in the trash by herself. Y/n knew that part of that frustration he felt wasn’t because of what happened, but it still hurt how he yelled at her

During the night, just as Y/n was going to bed, Shu caught her just in time before apologizing deeply and having a conversation about it. He promised things would change for the better, but did it really? In due time, Shu was able to make Valkyrie grow once more with Y/n and Mika’s help, apart from that, it took a long time for him to recover from the trauma on-stage, Y/n however, encouraged him throughout ever little step. It almost felt as if he was using her as a form of coping mechanism from it all.

Even after the war, when the five-eccentrics went on their own separate paths, Shu grew quite distant from Y/n. On their second anniversary, Y/n waited for Shu with a beautiful cake and some flowers for him, until minutes turned into hours and just like that, he had yet again missed another important event in their lives. The next morning was like all those other times where he’d apologized and promised to make it up next time. Y/n had enough and pushed Shu away before speaking

“Do you still love me, Shu? Did you fall for me at first and then decided to treat me as if I didn’t matter to you anymore? I’m your partner, if you truly fell out of love, it’s best if we part ways here” She spoke with tears in her eyes, walking towards the kitchen of their shared apartment as Shu walked behind her.

“Of course I still love you my dear, it’s just that I’ve been so busy and-“ She huffed in both annoyance and irritation, Y/n knew that he had forgotten like usual

“Busy? Even to the lenghts of missing our anniversary for the second time?” Shu sighed, looking at the cup of (beverage of choice) in her hands, the truth was that he had felt like the connection between them got lost in between all the success Valkyrie had had, and he couldn’t dedicate that much time to a relationship anymore. Shu didn’t want to let her go no matter what, even if it meant doing anything just to apologize for all he’s done

“Listen, I know being an Idol is hard work, but I’d appreciate if we went out sometime or spent time together, it doesn’t matter where, just you and me, okay?” He nodded at her words, holding her hand as she smiled softly. Y/n was right, perhaps what they needed was to have a relaxing night out between two lovers

The following week consisted of Shu making time for their relationship, now that Valkyrie was in a small hiatus, he took this chance to travel with Y/n to Paris, showing his beloved the many places he adored and other things like art museums and elegant coffee shops, even kissing under the Eiffel Tower at night, where it shined so brightly under the two “over the moon” lovers.

It all felt like the first time they fell in love. The best thing of the entire trip, was when Shu was able to reserve a spot at one of the most luxurious restaurants and decided to celebrate their (late) anniversary there. It seems like Shu really did his best to make it up for her for all the things he had done and the things she did for him throughout the relationship

In the end, once they returned to Japan and Valkyrie’s hiatus was over, Shu managed to fit in his schedule, whenever he could, a lunch date or anything that allowed them to spend time together

When Y/n’s birthday arrived, he made sure to spend the entire day with her, taking her out on a movie date and a walk around the town, hand in hand as he smiled, making sure to give her an unforgettable birthday. He wanted to let her know how much he changed, and how far he’s willing to go for their love. Shu’s main goals had changed for the woman he so loved, to cherish and protect her, even when times where difficult and after many mistakes, he finally felt at peace beside her

Shu Itsuki relationship headcanons

▶ Shu doesn't think about romance, this is why when he does begin to fall for you he doesn't notice it at first. It takes him a long time to realize the feelings he has for you are different than his fellow idols.

▶ After he realizes he tends to avoid you a bit, he's not ready to face you after his discovery. He's almost scared to act on his feelings, that maybe you'd never accept him because of his flaws.

▶ When he does confess to you his face goes red and you can hear the nervousness in his voice. When you tell him that you like him back he goes into a state of shock unable to process what just happened.

▶ After you begin dating, Shu makes sure that you have only the best clothes in your wardrobe. He makes sure to make clothes that suit your tastes and he loves to admire you in his creations.

▶ But Shu doesn't know when to stop at most times, often overworking himself late at night on clothes before a deadline. You'll have to convince him to go to sleep, although he's stubborn he tends to listen to you most of the time. Deep down he doesn't want you to worry over him.

▶ Shu works himself too much that he forgets to eat, if you bake or cook he'll end up preferring your food more. He likes to cook with you in his free time and it causes him to focus on himself more.

▶ If you know how to sew Shu would adore it if you made clothes for mademoiselle, he would want to exchange clothes you've made for eachother and work on doll clothes together.

▶ Shu entrusts you with the care of mademoiselle whenever he's busy. He's not good at expressing himself but when he opens up to you it's usually late at night, with you around he finds himself slowly being able to express himself more and more without the help of mademoiselle.

▶ As much as he denies your physical affection the truth is that he really likes your touch, his harsh words mask his real feelings. Although he doesn't like pda because of his idol work, he doesn't want you to get caught up in his idol career because he doesn't want you involved in a scandal.

▶ When you're in private though your affection flusters him, no matter how much he complains about it it doesn't hide the bright blush on his face. He really does crave your touch.

▶ He loves it when you want to watch his idol concerts, he loves when you come running up to him right after the show completely enamored with his performance. After a long concert he thinks he's deserving of a break with his lover.

▶ He finds it easier to fall asleep at night when he's with you, he falls asleep quickly when he's lying on your chest or when he's nuzzled in the crook of your neck. He holds you tight in his sleep unable to let you out of his grasp.

Unexpected..

Warnings: contains (!) Era, I didn't reread this..

You and Itsuki have grown closer! When I mean closer.. I mean friends. You haven't been to any of their performances yet which made you a bit upset but hopefully you will soon.

Thinking about Itsuki, you decided to message him and ask if you could see their performance! Once he saw your message, he was feeling a little excited that you'd love to watch their performance.

He decided to prepare the best for you. Scolding Mika and Nazuna to perfect movements, praising Nazuna while he just spoke for a bit. They were indeed confused about who he was talking about.

(Time skip to Itsuki's performance)

You sneak in, dressed as a student since Itsuki made you one. You saw them perform perfectly, every movement, the notes.. it was to perfect..... You finally saw Nazuna Nito, the main attraction of Valkyrie! He was really good! You were so drawn to the performance, it was unbelievably beautiful. Every single step, move.. it was perfect. You were really amazed on how Itsuki did all of this for the unit. How the members were well taught. Once it was over, you immediately left to avoid being seen by some glasses dude..

You thanked Itsuki for letting you watch their performance, even praising him a bit. He had another performance which you were gonna watch again. It was the same song but you didn't mind since it was amazing!

Kagehira and Nazuna were just watching Shu being praised over text, smirking to himself and chuckling. You made him feel that way which is way different from the normal Shu.

He came back to his proper self and started telling them what to perfect more and what they should improve on. He noticed how he was acting and thought it was unprofessional of him so he decided to be more careful with his emotions.

You decided to watch their next performance. It seemed a bit different... The audience didn't seem to be as bright as before. You ignored the crowd and focused on Valkyrie. You focused on the three.

"Boku dake ga egaku no sa kimi no tsuzuki o" Itsuki sang.

You looked at Nazuna in the middle. They're about to do the marionnette thing!

"Mitsu no chi kawashi tsugau ōtomat-" It got cut off.. the lights, music. Everything went silent....

"Shu, it isn't working anymore." Your words had completely caught him off his trance, and suddenly it felt as if his world was collapsing somehow.

His arms fell down to his sides as he suddenly grew eerily quiet, feeling himself growing closer and closer to just breaking down in tears in front of you, but alas he managed not to.

Not a tear was spilled, none at all even if he wished he could.

... You didn't have to remind him that it isn't working either, he isn't far too disconnected from reality to go as far as to think that this relationship would work considering just how far you two lived from one other, and how difficult it had been trying to spend time with each other due to how busy you both had been with work.

He isn't a fool to realize just how far you both had drifted apart. He isn't a fool to realize that no matter what he tries to do, it only roughens things further between you two as lovers.

He isn't a fool, but sometimes he wishes he was. Nothing but a pure deluded idiot who'd think this relationship is still within fixing and you both understand each other thoroughly as lovers since it's just the bare minimum.

... And yet you don't and neither does he; he absolutely doesn't and the realization only makes his heart sinks further. It does make him think, was he truly ever in love with you or was he just lying to himself all of these times he was with you?

"Ah... I see..." He spoke, his voice was quiet and low in a shaky tone as he relents to meet you in the eyes, fearing that if he does, he would start uncontrollably tearing up.

"To think that you'd say it here too; on the very street of Champs-Élysées that I had first confessed my love to you." Shu said, now covering the lower half of his face with his hand as the urge to tear up was beyond his limit.

"... You're far crueler than I had anticipated, Mon Chéri." He continued, how letting his arms fall back down to his sides as he looked at you in the eyes with such a sad smile on his face as his eyes only continues to wells with tears further as the cold wind of the night breeze against him. It was so cold despite how well dressed he was for the night, he had truly never felt so vulnerable before.

Cruel? That wasn't your intention. Your only wanted tell him the truth without any sugar coating while also sounding nice, but you suppose he was right; your desire to not sound mean had only made you crueler.

"I-I..." You tried to speak, but all words you try to spoke out was all suddenly stuck inside your throat as your mind went completely blank. What are you supposed to do now? Apologize? Cry too? Just leave? What are you supposed to do now?

The crowded street of Paris had never felt so emptier before despite the loud chattering and laughter that filled your ears being so clear to hear as people walks pass over you, all with a life of their own, but they'd all disappear as the only thing that exists is you and him for a moment.

You reminiscence of the first time you're here and how you could've ever stepped foot into Paris was all because of the invitation from the one and only Shu Itsuki himself.

How you two went to explore the city soon shortly since he had graciously offered to give you a tour there... How you two went out on a date on Michelin restaurant he had graciously offered to pay full by himself. How he had looked when you shared your croissant with him. How he had protected you from a swarm of pigeons when they tried stealing a croissant you bought (even if it sounds pathetic in a way).

... How you two went sightseeing all of Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower and shared your first kiss on that very evening. How happy you felt... How you thought you could do anything as long as you're with him.

Memories after memories suddenly flashed back into your mind as you're now left stuck with grief. The realization of just how far you've strayed away from each other was too much for you as tears began to well up your eyes too.

"... You needn't to say a word, Mon Chérie." He said after a short silence that passed, his smile was now gentler as tears was still to be seen prickling at the corner of his eyes.

"I-I'm sorry..."

"It was none's fault but mine — I tried to force us to survive on a lie neither could endure and now I'm paying the price I fully deserve."

Once again, your words were stuck inside your throat. You weren't unable to think much except for how guilty you are for ending things like this. Shouldn't you try a bit harder to fix this relationship? Why're you doing this...

But to the noble artist Shu Itsuki himself, he knows parting ways is the only best option left for you two; he'd learn it the hard way with Valkyrie. Nothing can stay perfect, not him; not you.

Nonetheless, even if you were to part ways over and over again, his heart will still forever remain within your clutches. Beyond your imperfections, beyond your cracks — he will always find you the prettiest of them all.

"But... Just one last time. Will you indulge in this fool's wishes, Mon Amour?" He said, now smiling at you again with the warmest and gentlest smile he could muster as he took his hand out for you.

"Let's spend the last night as lovers together; just the two of us, alone."
