🌼 anemone: how would they react if their s/o is sick?

– Leo would try his best to care for you, but he won't be the best at it. He does put in the effort though, so you can't be too disappointed in him.

– But because he's an older brother to a younger sister, the way he takes care of you when you're sick is satisfactory. He'll be right by your side, running to get things for you, and checking up on you so frequently it may be too much.

"Hey, (Y/N)! How are you? Are you feeling better yet?"

"I feel the same as I did thirty minutes ago when you asked me the same question," you replied, rolling your eyes with a smile.

– Despite how disoriented he can be, he's really attentive towards you. He'll make sure you're comfortable in bed, fluffing your pillows if needed, even grabbing another blanket if you feel too cold. One sign of discomfort on your face will have him running to get something you may or may not need.

– Leo would definitely be the one who offers to spoon-feed you. He even makes it into a game, treating you like a little kid.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Here comes the airplane!" he laughs. "Open wide!"

"Leo... I can feed myself."

"But I want to feed you!"

– He's still pretty clingy when you're sick that you'll have to tell him off. Sometimes, you would find him cuddled up against you, but most times, he'll sit on the floor close to your bed, eyes shut, snoring lightly.

FENNEL: What are their kisses like? Where do they like to be kissed the most?

IORI'S kisses are intense. He never does anything without a purpose, and that includes smothering your face in kisses until you're giggling and trying to shove him off- which doesn't always work. When he gets serious, though, he'll leave you absolutely breathless. His favourite place to be kissed is his lips; it's such an intimate place. Plus, if you're on the shyer side, it's cute to see you get flustered about it. He refuses to leave your side before getting a kiss; you stand up to say goodnight, and he just looks at you so expectantly... shithead.

ZEN, on the other hand, is as gentle as they come. He's very sweet and gentleman-like with you, and not just in kissing. He always asks permission before giving you a kiss, no matter how minuscule. He respects you and never wants to make you uncomfortable, so it's the least he can do, no? Zen's favourite place to be kissed is his forehead. A simple yet sweet gesture that makes him red in the face every time; if you want to get him flustered quick, give him a quick kiss on the forehead.

HOKUSAI is affectionate, without a doubt. Although he usually resorts to petting your head or stroking your hair, he can't deny that it's nice to kiss you and be kissed by you all the same. His kisses are soft and gentle, yet filled with so much emotion you could break down into tears. It's clear he adores you just by the way he kisses you. His favourite place to be kissed is the tip of his nose- odd, but that suits him, right? It makes him smile every single time; you're just so damn cute... don't worry, though; he'll return the favour!

REO loves nothing more than to be smothered with your love and kisses. You've got him so spoiled- he'll pout for hours if he hasn't got a kiss in that amount of time. As expected, his kisses are sweet, light, and mischievous in a cute way. He likes to surprise you with kisses by popping up out of nowhere just to plant a kiss on your lips or cheek. Reo's favourite place to be kissed is his cheeks! There's something he likes about it so much that it has him weak in the knees and grinning from ear to ear. You'll indulge him, right? There's no way you could resist your boyfriend's adorable little face!

SATSUKI is still so shy about kissing you after all this time. He loves it, don't get him wrong! It's just... you're so... amazing. And gorgeous. And adorable. And, well, perfect! He doesn't want you to think he's a weirdo or make you uncomfy with anything he does, so he's still a liiittle bit hesitant about kissing you. With some reassurance, though, he'll be a bit more forward! Perhaps a good morning or goodnight kiss; perhaps he gets the courage to cup your cheeks and tell you how much he loves you before giving you one. His favourite place to be kissed is his neck, as embarrassed as it makes him. Really, he loves any kisses you give him, but neck kisses melt his heart.

Going on Hiatus!

Hey guys! Just letting you all know I'm taking a hiatus on MCYT writing, I sadly just haven't been feeling in the right mood for it and I'm pretty sure you all can tell with how little I've been active here.

I well still try and finished some of my stories that I have here but I won't be making anything new for a while.

Bubblegum Buzz, The Borrowers Royal Garden, and Virtual Lies well hopefully be finished as well as I'll do my best to finish writing my parts of me and JK's shared au.

Learning something with my child. I had a really nice time taking piano lessons concurrently with my mum when I was young. I'd really like my child to want to get into something and to be able to pick it up with them and share that experience from the other side.

okay this may sound super lame but I've never been in any form of long term relationship! it's always been flings or FWB situations so I've never really experience the mundane domestic stuff you do when in a relationship like cooking dinner together or just cuddling on the sofa while you watch TV! those are moments I just think are super romantic and I'm such a hopeless romantic so I would love to experience!

cactus ⇢ something you’re currently learning (about)?

Sadly, right at this very second, I am not actively learning anything new. But look! I asked for some new books for christmas and I'm very excited about both that I asked for. I asked for Mox's book, in which I imagine I will learn many insane facts, and I also asked for Ducks - Two Years In The Oil Sands by Kate Beaton. She make those 'hark, a vagrant!' comics that are very familiar to everyone on the internet. The book is a reflection in comic form on her time in the oil sands working to pay off her student loans, and since the book came out she has been very vocal about environmental racism and the cost the oil sands have on our country, and the world in general. So, I am passively learning more about that!

chamomile ⇢ what kind of things do you like receiving as gifts?

It's a cop out to say anything, but I really do love anything. Gifts for me are a sign that someone took the time to do or buy or think of me in some way, and that's always so deeply touching for me. To know that I am thought of and cared for by someone is something that I struggled a lot with in my past so now when it happens it fills my heart three sizes and I get SO excited. More practically, I also like to receive gifts that save me spending money on something! Here are some gifts I asked for this year for christmas to give you an idea: a new laundry basket, loonies for the washing machines in my apartment building, the two books I mentioned (Mox and Ducks), burt's bees lip chap (I like pink grapefruit and mandarin), dried catnip and churu brand cat treats for my cat, and candles from bath and body works (snowy peach berry, sugar plum fairy, and twisted peppermint scents).

I’m always wearing a super dainty necklace that has my initial on, it’s a necklace i love and it helps with my anxiety because it’s something I can fiddle with. The only way I can see myself part with it is if and hopefully when I end up with someone and I’ll have their initial instead of my own 🥰

Plant & Herbs Asks 🌿

daffodil ⇢ do you have siblings? if yes, in what ways do you think you’re similar to or different from them?

I have 3 biological siblings, 1 half sibling and 2 sibling in-laws, but I'll just talk about the 3 who I know best! Similarities: Both my sisters have dabbled in art like me. They appreciate art museums and gardens. My brother, not so much, but we both like our 90's music. He has also been obsessed however with playing the same 2 or 3 reggae songs lately, so that's where I go ahead and leave the room. Differences: They're much older than me - my sisters are even from a different generation than my brother and I. All 3 siblings are extroverts. Two of them can have in-depth conversations with strangers. It's safe to say that I'm the introvert of the family.

sage ⇢ what ‘medium’ of art (poetry, music, fiction, paintings, statues etc.) is the most touching to you? why do you think that is?

I suppose music or film brings the most emotion out of me, but I can't say for sure. It could be through photography, painting, poetry, books or any other art form too.

camellia ⇢ what were you like when you were younger? do you think you’ve changed a lot?

Oh wow, well when I read through old diary entries, I can see how silly and dramatic I could be. So I guess I've probably matured in the sense that I react a bit more calmly and rationally toward things. But on the inside...I don't feel like I've changed that much.

jasmine ⇢ do you have a movie or book you loved but will never watch/read again?

Shawshank Redemption was a good movie that would definitely be way too intense for me to sit through again.

chamomile ⇢ what kind of things do you like receiving as gifts?

One of my friends has started helping me organize my apartment. She's got a lot of work ahead of her (see last question) but she says she loves it! More power to her, because I find it extremely overwhelming. Having that help is the best gift ever! Also, dark chocolate and Starbucks/Barnes & Noble gift cards are nice 👌

Hmm I'm still working on getting back to that mundane lifestyle I used to have. Getting too many curve balls thrown at me in recent years.

nutmeg ⇢ how’s your room/home decorated? do you have a specific theme or style going on?

I'd say it looks mostly like the Sanford & Son house when they had an earthquake - but even more disorganized and cluttered. I don't have that much on the wall. It's more just on the floor. I've had to have a couple surgeries (mostly minor) in the past few months so that hasn't helped. This is why I've recruited my friends' assistance! Theme? Nope, not at the moment!

I'm currently trying to relearn piano! I played as a kid and teen, but dropped it after I graduated. I've got an electric keyboard, I've broken out some of my (easier) old favorites, and I'm doing my best. It makes me happy just to be creating in that way.

orchid ⇢ what’s a song you consider to be perfect?

This is kind of a weird question for me, honestly, because it implies an option where there's songs I hear that make me go "oh this could be great, if only X, Y, and Z." Which is not how I consume things, especially music! I generally listen to music for what it is - there's some stuff I like more than others, but the stuff that isn't for me just... isn't for me. I just don't listen to it. I don't analyze how it would be better.

That being said: if I pick one for the purposes of this question, it's The Angel Islington by Frank Turner.

(Which is, I know, the answer you were angling for, as my fellow Frank fan. We'll take a moment to fake surprise.)

🌼 forget-me-nots: what do they do to get their s/o’s attention?

Mayoi doesn't really beg for attention unless it's his last resort, but he will ask for it albeit through splutters.

"(Y-Y/N)... can you p-please... look at me?"

Sometimes he doesn't say a word at all. He'll just stare at you in hopes that you'll understand what he wants (which you usually do), but when you don't, Mayoi will be honest with you that all he wants is your attention.

Yet there are times when his stuttering words become confident, and this ALWAYS gets your attention.

You were typing away at your keyboard, finishing off a report that was needed this week. You've been at it for days now as if you can't write the words correctly. It was frustrating, but you vowed to get this done soon.

Mayoi had noticed this unusual behaviour from you and suggested that you take a break, but you ignored his suggestion and carried on working.

Mayoi couldn't see you do this to yourself anymore. "(Y/N)," he says sternly.

You turn around, surprised by the tone of your boyfriend's voice.

"You need a break."

His arms were spread out, an invitation calling for you to come in. Usually, it's you who would do this for him, asking him to come into your arms, but being on the receiving end is also nice.

He was right. You did need a break. You approached him and leapt into his arms as he stroked your back soothingly.

"I don't know what's wrong with me today..." you murmur into his chest.

"(Y/N), you're the most amazing and hardworking person I have ever met," he replies. "Sometimes you just need to wind down and rest."

HAJUN is hard to ignore. He's the kind of guy who can get your attention at the drop of a hat, whether by teasing you or otherwise. He won't stand for being ignored by anyone, especially his darling partner. I can see him getting uncharacteristically pouty if you've been distracted and not giving him the attention he wants. Hajun likes to tease and torment you, but he isn't the type to beat around the bush when he wants your undivided attention on him. Even if what you're working on is super important, he'll sneak up behind you to wrap his arms around your shoulders, resting his head in the crook of your neck to whisper about how cruel you're being; is that silly paper really more important than your handsome, charming boyfriend? If that doesn't tug at your heartstrings enough, then you'd best believe this is a challenge he fully intends to win. Be careful, alright?

mahonia ⇢ what place, thing, activity inspires you most and how do you express yourself when it does?

I get a LOT out of my city self dates-- usually I get on a bus, go to downtown or somewhere new, and just walk around looking at the world as a completely new place to be discovered. I like to express myself in the moment by snapping little pictures of it and sometimes sending it to friends. Usually this isn't like...direct inspiration but more of a brain rinse that makes it easier to keep working on whatever I've got going :)

papyrus ⇢ if you put your ‘on repeat’ playlist on shuffle, what’s the first song that comes up? what do you like about it / associate it with?

Jimmy by Calogero -- this song is just on a French playlist that I like for cleaning! no deep associations
