right!!! i had one golden retriever and she was the most gentle doggo. my close friends who used to visit my house for sleepover and stuff also have dog phobias so they would always be scared of her, but she's always so gentle and would never approach them whenever they're around. i swear dogs knows what we think of them somehow, they're so precious sdlkfjslkdjflsd

Baby!Into1 x Daycare au | Intro

(ft. Bo Yuan as the caretaker of the 10 chaotic bunch, ranging from the ages of 3-5)

a/n: hello hello yumi here~ so this is the first into1 au of mine that will ever see the light of day. at first I was going to write things for it, but honestly I'm going to make it into a series with incorrect quotes to attach with it. this post will be the bios of all the babies and our lovely caretaker Bo Yuan, so enough of me babbling and I hope you guys could enjoy~

First off, we have the Caretaker™ Bo Yuan:

my mans is like in his 20's rn

wanted to open up a little day care as like side job/internship because he wanted to teach kids in the future so he was like “might as well start working with kids now!”

and so

he did it

only regretted his life decisions when his devil number 1 and devil number 2 does something bad

other times he really enjoy looking after them! and he doesn’t even feel like it’s a job!

has been thinking about taking a field trip with all 10 of them but he’s afraid: 1) he might lose one 2) he might lose himself 3) can they behave themselves

his favorite thing to do is having all of them gather around while reading a fairytale to them for nap time

or sometimes he would sing a song

he has a lot of favorite things in day care, literally having all 10 of them just there makes him happy

except when lin mo and nine is having a scream off:

lin mo: ahh

nine: aHH

lin mo: AHH

nine: AHHHHH-

bo yuan, running into the room: what’s wrong?

ak: screaming

bo yuan: why?

isnt always watching the kids 24/7, since day 1 when the kids came in he told them the rules of the daycare and kinda just let them familiarize the place

Liu Yu:

4 years old

very quiet, just likes to sit and read and draw

the most obedient one, and likes to follow around bo yuan

well,, most of the time

he’s played a few pranks on bo yuan like:

bo yuan: liu yu nap time is over you have to wake up

liu yu: *not moving*

bo yuan, gently nudged liu yu: liu yu wake up!

liu yu: *continues to fake sleep and not move*

bo yuan: *leans closer to liu yu’s face to make sure hes not sick or has a fever*

liu yu, scares bo yuan: WAH

bo yuan: liu yu dont do that! you scared me!

liu yu: *giggles*

likes to stretch and bend himself in odd positions

(bo yuan: everyday I’m in fear that he will snap himself in half)

kinda an introvert but once he hangs around everyone for a bit he will open up to them and fit himself in very well

likes to organize and keep things how he found them/have special places where he organizes his toys

jiayuan: *moves liu yu’s fan*

liu yu: hey! put that back!!

has really good etiquettes and never really fights or argues or bicker with the other kids

but likes to joke around and mess around with once in a while

patrick: wahhh i put my cupcakes here who took one!

liu yu, hiding it behind his back: idk maybe keyu took it?

the least of bo yuan’s worries since he’s always in bo yuan’s sight, also he’s aware of his surroundings so he actually helps bo yuan make sure everything’s okay

(bo yuan: i made a checklist for myself on the whiteboard and liu yu likes to check things off for me, he said “coloring in the boxes is fun” so now he's the reason why i get all my work done)

Santa:

4 years old

riki’s best friend

super happy and bright, like a ray of sunshine

is easily scared

lin mo: hi

santa: WAHHHHH BO YUAN GEGE

really likes bo yuan, would stick on to him a lot and ask him about everything

santa: bo yuan gege whats this?

santa: bo yuan gege what’s that?

santa: bo yuan gege what are you making right now?

hangs out with liu yu and mika a lot (other than riki)

riki is older than him but would hold riki’s hand and take him around like a didi

also really likes racing with mika for E V E R Y T H I N G

(bo yuan: yeah couple days ago they tried to race who can fall asleep faster but because they kept on peeking at each other so they basically didn’t sleep till i said i’ll watch for them)

really likes to dance, every time he hears music he would start grooving around

loves learning new things, which is probably the reason why he always asks bo yuan so many questions

also least one of bo yuan’s worries, just gotta make sure jiayuan and lin mo don’t pull pranks on him

(bo yuan: well they dont really pull prank pranks, its just once lin mo grabbed a frog and started running around and showing it to everyone, but lin mo lost grip and the frog jumped on santa)

Rikimaru:

5 years old

looks like he’s 3, acts like he’s 3, but is actually 5

best friends with santa! always sticks around him and likes to tug on a corner of his shirt out of habit

bo yuan: alright everyone it’s nap time! i’ve made the beds for everyone

riki, sees his bed is not next to santa: bo yuan gege can you switch my bed next to santa? i wanna be next to santa

he didn’t start speaking till he was 4 so he often stutters when he talk and just looks confused a lot (it's because he’s thinking and formulating his words)

santa and the other kids would always have to interpret for him

bo yuan: riki I brought some snacks today do you want cookies or marshmallows?

riki: ???

santa, motioning with his hands: bo yuan gege said do you want the white fluffies or brown crunchies

riki: oh! crunchies!

squishy cheeks,, bo yuan’s favorite thing is to squish his cheek everytime he sees him

riki: gud mooning bo yuan gege!

bo yuan, squishes riki’s cheeks: ahh I haven’t seen you in so long good morning!!

nine: wait wasnt riki here yesterday??

also likes to stretch,, often seen around with liu yu and they just help each other

(bo yuan: i am afraid he will snap himself in half too)

not too much of bo yuan’s worries, besides the fact that he might get kidnapped because he’s so oblivious

(bo yuan: we were playing outside in the yard once and riki just wandered off because he thought the neighbor’s flowers were pretty)

Mika:

4 years old

also kinda an introvert, doesn’t interact with too many people

usually it’s santa that approaches him first or keyu^^

found a ukulele in the toy bin one time and wouldn’t let go of it (he claims it’s his now)

his favorite activity at daycare is when they all sing together, that’s when he smiles the most and has the most fun

the one that likes to nap the most

also likes to help bo yuan cook once in a while (mostly just having mika washing vegetables and passing things to bo yuan)

very laid back and not noisy (till he starts playing the ukulele)

often gets scared by lin mo’s sudden screams (actually, lin mo scares a lot of people, sorry to mika’s ears)

also not one of bo yuan’s worries, literally there’s nothing to worry about with mika, all the kids just likes to sit around mika and pet his head so he keeps everyone safe

(bo yuan: one time I couldn’t find any of the kids in the play room, apparently they were all in the napping corner petting mika’s head since he just got a hair cut)

Nine:

4 years old

loud, very loud.

pouts a lot

everyone calls nine cute, even the boys who are younger than him

likes to boss around patrick because he’s older

nine: patrick gimme that juice box!

patrick: you’re closer you get it!

nine: i’m older than you!

literally scared of everything

if he hasn’t seen it before and it’s living, he’s scared

jiayuan: *holds a bowl of tadpoles*

nine, several feet away: WAHHH WHAT IS THAT

the happiest when he gets snacks + real food food

also really likes to sing!! his favorite thing is watching disney movies because there’s so much music in it and he just loves to sing along

he’s not part of bo yuan’s worries because he’s literally scared of everything, but nine is really naive and would do things that the other kids tell him to do so, it’s a 50/50 on nine

(bo yuan: there was an edible decorative flower on keyu’s birthday cake couple days ago, and somehow jiayuan convinced nine all flowers were edible. so today during outside time nine almost ate the neighbor’s flowers)

probably the craziest most hyper one out of them all

he and jiayuan always have something bad planned

literally doesn’t have a moment where he’s calm

constantly in bickering mode with ak

patrick: what are they arguing about?

keyu: *shrugs*

but is also best friends with ak so he’s also calm around him

(bo yuan: yeah these two have on and off days, you can never predict it)

and also constantly naruto runs around the daycare

bo yuan: lin mo stop running!

lin mo: *nyoom*

he also once nyoomed into keyu

keyu: ow what was that for?

lin mo: you were in my way!

and now he nyooms into keyu for fun

a very good mood maker

likes to smile/laugh a lot

would calm down if you show him a movie or a cartoon

number 2 on bo yuan’s worry list because he’s the "bad influence" for everyone, also he reduces hearing for everyone

(bo yuan: i’ve secretly made a tally book on how many times i have to say “lin mo” in a concerning tone this week and he came in 2nd. he was only here for like 3 days!)

YOURE THREE STOP SMIRKING LIKE THAT

couple months younger than lin mo but this is the real culprit under a lot of his and lin mo‘s plans

it’s just because jiayuan has a lot of crazy ideas and he says them out loud and lin mo is just like “yes”

also sometimes they are just accidents, but he's always doing weird questionable things with lin mo

got really sad one time because he brought tadpoles and put them in the fish tank and killed them since the fish went nom

but then started to constantly catch for tadpoles to feed the fishes

bo yuan: jiayuan stop, you’re killing the frog population!

jiayuan: but the fishies are hungry *pouts*

likes to fight/mess around with keyu for no reason

keyu: *sitting there, drawing*

jiayuan, with a squishy hammer: *bops keyu’s head*

but also will protect keyu if anyone tries to mess with him

lin mo: *nyooms into keyu for the 3rd time of the day* jiayuan, hugs keyu: stop hurting him!

the calmest thing he likes to do is taking care of plants, probably because he saw bo yuan spraying the plants one time and he like to squeeze the spray bottle

number 1 on bo yuan’s worry list, this child is literally not safe alone or with anyone. they were trying to celebrate keyu’s birthday and jiayuan tried to touch the candles, while it was lit, by the flame.

(bo yuan: i just got the tablets and haven’t set up children mode, so i’ll take the blame for this one. but also why are kids so good with technologies nowadays??)

not part of bo yuan’s worries till he’s on his hunt for the hidden snacks, just because bo yuan is afraid he might hurt himself

(bo yuan: i started hiding the snacks higher up and one time i saw him trying to climb on keyu’s shoulders to grab it)

also likes to read with patrick,, but usually patrick falls asleep so it’s him, the book, and a sleeping patrick

wears glasses all the time since his vision isn’t so good but somehow he makes glasses look good on him???

has a chain with his glasses because there too many glasses incident with keyu

glasses #1 keyu: I don’t like them! *takes it off and loses it*

glasses #2 keyu: *takes them off for nap time, but riki accidentally rolled on to them and snapped it*

glasses # we don’t know how many: *disconnected from the keyu universe*

also like a month younger than lin mo but literally has to make sure lin mo doesnt “blow” the place up

lin mo: what if I stuck this fork into the pluggie thing?

keyu, picking lin mo up: nope you’re not

when keyu is clueless he either stands there or just sit there and space out, not really noticeable but bo yuan ran into him doing that a couple times

(bo yuan: I thought he was an ai that was malfunctioning, it scared me at first but now I know he just doesn’t remember what he’s doing)

oh did I mention this,, even though he’s one of the youngest, he’s the tallest, with that advantage he likes to try to pick people up

jiayuan: keyu pick me up!

keyu: no

patrick: keyu likes me more he will pick me up!

keyu: no

patrick: *pouts*

keyu: *tries to pick both jiayuan and patrick up at the same time*

bo yuan, running over: ZHOU KEYU PUT THEM DOWN YOULL BREAK YOURSELF

not too high up on bo yuan’s worry list, give him a piece of paper or book or anything he would just calmly sit there and do something with it

(bo yuan: every time when we do art or reading its so hard to pry keyu away, he has to finish what he was doing and he’s so concentrated he doesn’t hear anybody)

4 years old

loud, VERY LOUD.

bo yuan: ak you don’t have to yell

ak: OKAY

monopolized over all the instrument music type of toys in the daycare

bo yuan: ak you know you have to share your toys right?

ak: I gave the ukulele to mika

honestly having ak is like having a walking megaphone so bo yuan ended up actually making ak his little helper for announcements

bo yuan: ak go tell everyone is lunch time

ak: alright!

ak: *da da da running to fetch his little stool*

ak, stands on a little stool in the middle of the play room: ITS LUNCH TIMEEEEEE-

nine, swats ak’s leg: YOU SCARED ME

the only time ak is quiet is when he’s around lin mo, he kinda just likes to watch lin mo and follow him around so that’s that

unless lin mo starts messing with him, then you just lose your hearing for the day

also at first bo yuan was trying to see what ak is interested in, and he taught ak hot cross buns on the bells and thought that would calm ak down,, but oops ak ended up making more noises

patrick: I WANNA SLEEP AK

(bo yuan: I swear something happened to this kid or something. he’s not hard of hearing but he’s just naturally so loud)

i too would lose my hearing if im around ak so much

not to high on bo yuan’s worries but he just make sure ak isn’t being too loud and bothering the other kids, usually he’s pretty good about that but you never know when a little patrick will start napping or anyone really so gotta contain his energy

(bo yuan: ak is usually the first one that’s awake from nap time but its usually like 5-10min before everyone else so i told him he can go and play but he just has to be quiet)

Johnil Synastry Astrology Analysis

for the lols

To all my Johnil shippers, in the light of recent events:

I decided to make this, now I am not a shipper of no pairings in NCT (romantically cos I think it is strange, but if you ship them romantically, you do you boo. I am writing this post to cater to the platonic shippers, the romantic shippers and the sexual shippers) but I thought it’d be interesting to look at the synastry of Johnil since John John keeps saying Taeil is his soulmate (but then again he said so was Jaehyun so Johnny u whore) and I honestly love their friendship.

This is going to be just a basic synastry reading, for fun. Please do not take things too seriously, astrology is meant to be taken lightly and this was made with good intentions, again, for fun. 

Let’s begin then:

Sun trine sun (Gemini & Aquarius)

This is BFF culture and you can’t tell me otherwise. Sun trining another person’s sun is just so positive, these two are very similar in terms of ego, basic personality or maybe not necessarily “similar” as in completely alike but rather as in “in harmony”. They share a similar perspective, and probably identify with each other in some ways, or if you want to use millennial terminology: “they vibe with each really hard”. Taeil and Johnny’s basic personalities compliment each other very well, Geminis x Aquarius reminds me of this sentence: “your weird matches my weird so that’s why we are friends”.

Sun trine Moon (Taeil’s sun trining Johnny’s Moon)

This kind of aspect is often said to be one of the strongest (Conjunction would be stronger than a trine, but a trine is mre harmonious) synastry aspects two people can have in synastry, it is just works you know. There is understanding, there is a true care between the two and there is attraction. What more do you need? The sun person (Taeil) depends on the support from the Moon person (Johnny) and and Johnny (moon) generally comes to rely on Taeil for wisdom and probably really trusts him. It is a very naturally flowing aspect with a lot of emotional understanding. It reminds me of when Johnny said he now knew what it was like to have a big brother thanks to Taeil.

Moon sextile Moon (Taeil’s Leo Moon x Johnny’s Gemini Moon)

Personally, I love sextiles, they have the same easy-flowing energy as a trine except it is different, as in the there is more differences between the two signs but it works. It is the best of both worlds. Leo Moons are children at heart, they are playful, and fun-loving and Gemini Moons bring the fun, they are witty and funny. Of course, there are differences between the two but that’s what makes it more interesting. Another BFF aspect. I dont know why but air and fire signs always remind me of friendship, even in romantic settings, these people are friends first lovers second. It is your typical friends to lovers AU. 

Johnny’s Sagittarius Jupiter trining Taeil’s moon

This is too cute, it is such a positive aspect to have in synastry: Jupiter is essentially the Moon’s happy pill, their anti-depressant. The Jupiter person (in this case Johnny) always tries to make the moon (Taeil) person happy, Taeil often might be resist but probably quickly warmed up tp him and harmonised with his ideal and positivity. Whether Taeil is aware of this or not, I can see Johnny being a very important influence for him, a comforting ball of light in a way, when he is having a hard time and is feeling a bit emotional, he might turn to Johnny and Johnny probably gets him to open up more than other people would.

Mercuries quincunx/inconjunct (Cancer VS Aquarius) BUT then Taeil’s mercury opposites Johnny’s Capricorn Venus BUT then Taeil’s Gemini ass trines Johnny’s Aquarius Mercury

First of all, I want to fight the person that made the word “quincunx”. It’s ugly. This aspect is also call inconjunct but ya know. 

The reason why I am writing these aspects together is because they sort of cancel each other out (at least in my head). So mercury quincunx/inconjunct mercury is literally what it says, if conjunct means “joined together, combined” then you can guess what INconjunct means right? With this aspect, the two epople (in this case Johnil) don’t share the same intellectual or educational background, nor the same way of thinking or communicating. It is a case of, these two mercury signs are literally like an apple and a giraffe, there is nothing that connects the two. Communication is difficult because of this, their sense of humour is nothing alike, their ideas don’t match, it is a mess. One person could tell a joke and the other is like ?????? what 

But here is why, synastry, my friends, is complicated as shit, more often than not there will be other aspects that will either make aspects worse or better, or soften it or make it more chaotic. So here is the tea:

(Taeil) Mercury opposite Venus (Johnny): this turns the exchange of ideas exciting, these two tend to open up with each other a lot more, communication ofte has a flirty subtext (probably from Johnny’s part ngl) no matter if it’s a romantic or platonic relationship, and these two are also more likely to talk to each other basically. So it kind of cancels that awkwardness of the inconjunct. But because opposites are a double edged sword ready to fucking attack, even tho the exchange between mercury and venus is fun and exciting, it is also likey it will source some conflict, but isn’t that every human interaction ever? With this aspect there might be TOO much excitement, you might accidentally cut each other off and there might be a slight competition, there might be small misunderstandings. These are all things that can be subconscious. 

(Taeil) Sun trines Mercury (Johnny): THIS gives the relationship easy understanding, talking to each other is as easy as breathing, they love talking to each other and the communication flows freely, they are often eager to listen to each other and work together. It is such a positive aspect to have, Taeil (as the sun person) probably really admires Johnny’s intellect and how he communicates. I think they really get each other and work very well together, probably finish each other’s sentences. This is a complete platonic aspect btw (on its own), it is great for friendships because there is a real sense of understanding. And this just shows me that those two are probably really good friends outside “NCT”/work. You can tell even in front of the cameras that they are very comfortable around each other. I haven’t checked the degrees to see which ones of these mercury aspects is the tightest (meaning: the strongest) but judging by the way they act, I am going to say it is this one as it cancels the awkwardness of the inconjunct and the lowkey tension of the opposite. 

So you see why this shit is complicated?

Venus Opposite Venus (Cancer vs Capricorn)

Johnil and their soulmate aspects, ffs. Venus opposite Venus is chaotic soulmate aspects, that’s what I’m going to call it. As the name suggests, the two Venuses are the exact opposite, except this kind of opposite is the kind where you complement each other. You might be completely different, yet you are so alike. In astrology, Cancer and Capricorn are dubbed the “mother & father” of the chart, Capricorn is ruled by Saturn which represents your father figure whilst Cancer is ruled by Moon, the planet which represents your mother figure. Cancer’s stereotypical character archetype is very ‘Motherly’, they are sensitive, caring, loving, nurturing and honestly just want to care for you and love you while Capricorn’s archetype is more of a stereotypical masculine fatherly type of character: they are work/goal oriented, reserved, hardworking and guarded with their emotons which is a complete 180 turn from what Cancer is (in the sense that their emotions are way much more on the surface than Capricorn). Both signs are very traditional in a sense, and value relationships. I honestly think this is the cutest thing, Venus in Cancer wants to provide an emotional blanket for you and nurture you and Venus in Capricorn wants to provide for you in a more physically tangible way (like money for example, but they also want you to work hard for yourself), they work very well together despite the differences. 

On a more platonic note, I can see Johnny and Taeil possibly discussing relationship or their ideals and agreeing on a lot of things. Their ideal types are probably the complete opposite and their approaches to love are also different but there might be a lot of similarities, they are both old souls when it comes to romance, both want to protect and provide for their partners, and both being a cardinal signs makes them great initiators. The main difference is that Capricorn (Johnny)’s approach is more practical, logic and calculated whilst Cancer (Taeil)’s approach is more emotion oriented. 

This is funny cos Johnny (Venus in Capricorn) is usually seen as the father figure of NCT while Taeil (Cancer Venus) is seen as a mother figure. 

Mars Square Mars (Taurus x Leo)

shut up I LOVE THIS, as someone with a Taurus Mars who has almost exclusively dated Leo Mars men (because I’m actually cursed and am fucking doomed to end up with a leo mars’ trash ass) let me tell you. This shit is M E S S Y, but hot. Also I love that Taeil has a Taurus Mars, like yes representation! We good uns

Hard aspects like a square more times than not cause tension, but it highly depends on the individuals. If the two mars in question were to be less developed (as in the mars signs being less developed versions) these two would barely be able to stand in the same room without actually wanting to punch each other cos the other person somehow manages to rub you in every wrong way possible. You can be the calmest person (which usually Taurus Mars are) and just this person BREATHING will irritate you. 

But if the two mars signs in question are developed versions, like two mature individuals, you can actually benefit from being in relationships (of any kind) with someone whose mars squares yours. With a square, your drives, your passions and the way you deal with anger, are completely incompatible, these two couldn’t be any more different in their basic impulses and instincts. But this allows for personal growth, this person will challenge you, even provoke you and push you, this all could be negative or positive it depends on you. It is easy to get overwhelmed, become irritated and impatient with this synastry aspect, but it can also be rewarding as the other person usually helps you discovers sides of your Mars self you probably did not know you had. In the case of Taurus and Leo, Taurus tend to hold onto their anger, on the outside they seem to be calm and collected but in reality they are just holding in their anger and holding back, that is why they seem “calm”, Taurus has an immense amount of patience because they are so used to biting their tongue instead of lashing out. Leo’s chaotic loud energy ticks off Taurus in the way no other sign manages to do, at first this relationship could be extremely chaotic, full of fights and arguments until they start to understand each other. And when that happens, they can actually balance each other out: Taurus could learn to stop holding being so reserved and “fake calm” and Leo could learn how to control their temperament and calm tf down.

This is the kind of relationship where there is just constant teasing, things like "I love you but you are literally so irritating” might be said, actually a very loving relationship if the individuals get their shit together. Making each other laugh over stupid shit. Mars square Mars also tend to cause a lot of sexual tension, like INTENSE “Idk whether to f*ck you or k*ll you” kind of tension. Arguments that somehow lead to sex are not uncommon. 10/10 recommend but you’ll need a xanax. Sex is great, arguments are spicy, it keeps you on your toes.

I don’t mean to keep fueling you weirdos but all I’m going to say this is known as both an indicator of strong attraction (both physically and emotionaly) but also a baby maker aspect so you do whatever you want with this information... 

When mars and the moon come together, it tends to create fascination and attraction but also mars can sometimes unintionally hurt the moon’s feelings by being a little too aggressive, it is definitely an emotonal aspect, with its ups and downs. Often the moon person needs to be nurtured and cared and the Mars person can be a little too insensitive and oblivious, but at the same time this aspect can indicate the mars person is quite protective of the moon person like “this is my baby, hurt it and I’ll fight”.

The Mars person is probably very turned on by Venus’ loving persona/nature, here sexual feelings and romantic feelings blend very naturally and not aggressively, overall it is very positive and it can be th indicator of a fulfilling relationship.

Lilith represents a few things in our chart, it shows you the darkest parts of your psyche and self (this is the kind of person you are at your worst), but also can show you your deepest darkest desires. Traditionally, in astrology, in a man’s chart Lilith can be the kind of woman he desires yet fears. We can also interpret this as just the kind of person you desire but fear, you are inivitably attracted to them but the idea of being attracted to that person can make you uncomfortable, nervous even but you are still aroused somehow. 

Not to go into TOO much detail, but this is a strong indicator of sexual attraction, the Lilith person usually is too scared to persue the Sun person, but the chemistry is there. In a relationship, this would be definitely intense and challenging, the Lilith person usually does not react to the Sun person very well (I think this aspect would be felt if the relationship was of a romantic/sexual nature, if it is just a friendship I don’t think it would be as prominent and it would possibly manifest in other ways).

Ancient weapons/related headcanons

All the ancient/special weapons in the series, as well as the warp star, are sentient! Not all of them readily show it, either because they can't easily do so, or because they don't want to risk messing up fate by making it known they're sentient. Best to avoid accidentally weirding out the chosen hero; it'd be a bit of an issue if they didn't like the idea of vanquishing some Great Evil because the weapon required to do so talked to them once & made wielding them uncomfortable.

Galaxia is the one most used to interacting with her wielders, Meta Knight being the one she is closest to. She's genderfluid and currently uses she/they pronouns, though she has used he/they in the past. Due to the fact that she communicates telepathically with whoever she's talking to, she has the benefit of being able to change her voice to however she wants to sound.

Her personality and mental aspects change based on who's using her, though that's had a few adverse effects on her. She's gotten somewhat anxious over the years, as should be expected of someone who's lost many of those closest to them. Meta wasn't the first person she chose to wield her, after all. However, he is the one she's gotten closest to, mostly because he's sorta emotionally latched on to her himself; since she isn't mortal she is someone he doesn't have to fear losing.

When it comes to Kirby, she takes on a more motherly persona, though a somewhat harsh one in the way Meta is when being fatherly to him. Since he's one of the few of her chosen ones that she met and picked at a young age, she does her best to "raise" him in a way that will benefit them both in the future. However this has led to some interesting conflicts in terms of Galaxia not being the only sentient ancient weapon that chose Kirby.

The Triple Star is similar to Galaxia in that they tend to change personalities based on their user, however they've "grown up" in a very different environment. They're nonbinary, very talkative to their wielder, and somewhat mischievous. What can you expect, they've not really been able to choose theirs in the way Galaxia has, and have mostly been used by thieves like Daroach, thanks to having been stolen a long time ago & basically having a life of getting stolen, sold, stolen again, lost and found, rinse and repeat.

By now they've taken on a personality less than fitting for a holy weapon, being somewhat sarcastic and well versed in street smarts. Think of their alignment as chaotic good to neutral. They do like to get involved in shenanigans from time to time, usually helping their wielder to get out unscathed. They'd definitely use "hey I helped beat the ruler of the Underworld I pulled my weight already" as an excuse for their morally ambiguous decisions.

To Kirby, they're like a semi-bad influence but not intentionally. Like the fun parent to Galaxia's serious parent attitude. They want the best for him, they just take a different approach. Triple Star does the heavy lifting and some defending- which you can see in Squeak Squad with the 3 stars orbiting Kirby- and basically lets him do whatever. No training or strategizing, just "Ok Kirb go nuts, I wanna see some action and you wanna fight evil, let's go!"

Luckily, they're at least decent enough to keep their language clean around him. Same can't be said for Daroach. Imagine your own weapon calling you a bastard.

To further complicate things for Kirby, he's also been chosen by the Master sword, who identifies as female. She's only had a few previous wielders, but managed to learn of the existence of the other legendary Master Sword wielded by some reincarnating guy called Link. To put it lightly, she's jealous and wants to prove she's The Better Master Sword™, and does so by always giving her all even when she really doesn't need to.

She's somewhat intense and a bit stubborn when she does decide to speak up, generally wanting to be in the leadership position. Kirby is Kirby and wants to be friends with her whenever he uses her, but can't help but be somewhat intimidated by her focus on being strong & a very effective weapon. She isn't interested in being friends with Kirby, but more or less just chose him because he's very powerful and would be a good wielder.

On the opposite side of the spectrum are the Rainbow Sword and Love-Love stick, who are pretty carefree as long as there's not something currently threatening the universe. Rainbow is genderfluid like Galaxia but tends to stay on the more masculine side, preferring he/they pronouns. However, he doesn't mind people he trusts using other pronouns for him on occasion. Love currently identifies as male but is questioning being nonbinary.

They do their best to live up to their holy weapon status, though since they're only wielded when Suddenly Dark Matter that's kind of difficult. They both chose Kirby because he's got Good Boy Energy and they're aware that not all Dark Matters are pure evil. Why be violent when you can use the power of love and friendship? That's what they're made to channel. However now they just chill out on Ripple Star on adjacent pedestals in the castle, being chill & gay & valid.

The Starship and Warpstar are very different from the others in that they are much more childlike. This is because both of them gained sentience thanks to contact with Kirby and the resulting change in their own magic. Neither of them can speak, but they're both somewhat protective of Kirby and want to be friends with him. The Starship is a bit more introverted due to having less social interaction with anyone, while the warpstar has openly tried to "play with" and entertain Kirby in some situations.

The Warpstar is also related to the Star Rod, sort of, in that the Warpstar is kind of like a baby Star Rod but not really.

The Star Rod doesn't identify as anything yet, except maybe as a pseudo-grandma. They're pretty peaceful and prefer not to be super involved in most things, and are almost perpetually tired. They care about Kirby & want to see him grow up strong while remaining the good boy he always has been.

They can't communicate directly, but instead have to do so through dreams. This makes them the only one of the weapons capable of communicating with almost anyone, even those they haven't met. Of course that doesn't mean they're always going to act perfect to everyone; you think those weird dreams people don't understand happen on accident? A legendary weapon has to entertain themselves somehow.

The last weapon to have chosen Kirby is the Power Paintbrush, who is nonbinary like Triple Star. They're not focused on being a weapon but much prefer being used to make art. If needed in combat situations they prefer being used in a defensive way, hence why the most they do in CC is just stun opponents. They like Kirby because he's friendly and has the imagination that comes with most children, while also being intelligent enough to use them to their full potential.

They don't ever speak, but share their feelings via emotions and the appearance of their paint. Hue helps show the emotion, saturation dictates the intensity, and brightness dictates wether it's positive or negative. For example, when they're happy they'll have more bright blue in their paint, when sad they may have a dull purple, dull green can mean they were startled vs bright green being pleasantly surprised.

Kirby doesn't understand that, he just knows there's pretty colors and some of them seem to match up with his feelings.

Fic Summary: (Part 1- Loki’s POV) Loki tells of one of the visions the Tesseract cursed him with. In his vision he sees a woman confined and decides he will do anything in his power to help her.

I am Loki, Prince of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose.

When I was a child, things weren’t easy– ever. In fact, they were very, very hard. There were always forces in opposition, pushing and pulling with hatred and obsessions. I was caught in the middle of it all, like the offspring of a spider made prey by its own parentage. However, the spider wasn’t my true parent. To Odin, our spider on the web, I was something vile, corrupt, without order; something chaotic that needed to be put in its place.

And so, as a child, young and blind to the incongruicies and discriminations of life, I accepted Odin’s treatment of me. Somehow, as a child used to a life of malice and ill will, you just believe there is nothing better out there—for it is what you have always known.

Can you perhaps, relate?

I truly believed, with burning conviction there was nothing better out there, in the nine realms. I suppose I wanted to so desperately feel that no matter the treatment I received, that it was fatherly, unconditional love in its purest form. That is, until I started to get a glimpse of the world and the blind was removed from my eyes like fetters falling from the wrongfully imprisoned. And much like the wrongfully imprisoned, the one that has been left to rot in a cell, away from all mankind, away from light, touch, sound, out of sight—when I was unintentionally and haphazardly released from the bonds that held me, I began to dream. And when I began to dream I began to court danger. That’s how it all starts isn’t it? Danger often times comes with dreams, perhaps they are cousins, or lovers, or both. Imaginably both, that must be why they give birth to fear. Fear being an all-consuming debilitating emotion, something I am all too familiar with. Something all too familiar with me. Try as I might, I like to think fear has no hold over me any more after all those years long ago when I was a child living in the shadow of the spider. However, this is comically wrong, for I encountered fear again when the Tesseract gave me a dream. But more on that later.

Now then, if I am not the offspring of the spider what am I? I am the child of hunger. The child of desire for something to fill a yawning emptiness so vast the void could consume the stars. I am the child of those people who starved, and in their starvation they became what appear to be monsters. They are called “Jotuns”, and are of Jotunheim. The Jotuns are the natural enemy of Asgard, at least as long as Odin ruled. For an enemy without, strengthens a ruler within. Thus if Jotuns are the enemy then I too am the enemy. In truth, my people are a harsh cold lot, brutal to the core. It is only ever bound to happen when the land they live yields nothing but perpetuating emptiness and desolation, something that only can birth bitterness. Think about that one a while—something that can only birth bitterness.

But now, perhaps, I am dancing around the question, “what am I?”. You see, one of my downfalls is that I like to withhold knowledge, something I may be able to use again at a later date when it better suits me. For now, I am fluid like water, but with much more bite, so let’s say like fire. Simply put, I am a monster. The monster that parents warn their children of at night. Of course because I have only ever yielded destruction, or so I have only ever been told. I am rage and chaos in the flesh—that is something you can trust—my rage.

In truth, I am whatever you want me to be, or even whatever you have need of me to be. Whoever you think I am, I will be—for you of course, and perhaps for a price.

My story however, will vary about as much as I do, it all depends on who you ask. In order for you to see me, there is something I need to show you. You can judge me how you wish from there; I have room for that.

I began rather benign I think. Not that anyone has ever asked my story, but through all the abuse I endured I think I started to lose myself.

There was a time, when I did commit unspeakable acts, but before I ever started on the precipice of that catastrophic journey, unspeakable acts were performed on me. It is not time however, for me to share these unspeakable acts with you—to unburden myself. I do however, have a name to give you, and perhaps you have heard of him. If so, then you know enough… Thanos. I endured torture at Thanos’ hands. For what? All to acquire a stone, but it wasn’t your average stone. The Tesseract was a glorious gateway between the realms. Unfortunately, her power could be used for the triumph of evil, and so it was. While she possessed unspeakable power she also came with her own burdens. She could enlighten, so to speak, the mind of the beholder. Have you ever heard the saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Well to her, to the Tesseract, the beholder is in the eye of beauty, really. She shows you what she wishes and you become her thrall—even gods are not immune to her. Her visions are a way for her to protect her secrets. To protect herself.

This is where I come in. I was made to go after the Tesseract and she showed me many things, dreams and worlds beyond measure, beyond even the understanding of a god.

Such an odd thing really, behold the stone and you see everything it wants you to see, vividly, breathing, beating, radiating, pulsating—and me, there in the middle of it. Another spider and another web. Well, her visions happen in an instant, much like falling down an intergalactic wormhole at the speed of light, or even the Bifrost.

The Tesseract, doing what she does, in a way to protect herself, showed me a vision she knew would break me, driving me into madness—of course, the only way to end the madness was to do as she bid.

In just a heart shattering moment, something that I wanted to last an eternity, or one of my life times, I saw a woman. A woman who very much was a girl. Interestingly, initially she could have been taken for a wounded bird—something broken and battered, bleeding her wounds too many to count. Perhaps trampled by too many Bilge-snipe.

I saw her chained in a harshly lit, glass cage. She was cowering naked in a corner, holding her legs to her breasts. Possibly in hopes to hold onto something to gain comfort and stability. Her head was down, wild hair cascading like liquid daggers all around her. I could hear her quiet, musical sobs. I pitied this poor creature, because something inside of her sent an echo of a memory penetrating through me. This little wounded bird was trapped in a spider’s web too– like I had been most of my childhood. My soul reached out to her wanting to free her from her confinement, and I took a steady stride towards her. She sensed my presence. Her mind caressed mine at that moment, and her head snapped up savagely. I froze in my tracks. She did not want me to come near her. I could feel her fear radiating from her, sending shell surging shocks throughout the air. I knew something then. I had been very much mistaken.

This creature was no wounded bird. She was a threat. She was a white tiger posing as a mortal, playing some deadly game. Her green eyes glowing with infinite hatred and something more. Hunger. There was only one place I had seen hunger that savage, it was the hunger my people possessed. This threatening girl, with her blood red lips and icy skin sensed me, even though I was not physically there with her. She continued to study my energy—I wondered what she sensed about me. While I wanted to move closer to her, I was unable to. I was trapped in snares she set for me. Our chains could have made for a matching set. I did what I could, and took as much of her in as possible. One thing was for certain, this tiger in mortal flesh was the most beautiful creature I have ever laid my eyes on.  Imaginably, one of the most dangerous too—someone that could come of some use to me later on. Yes, the Tesseract was good. It’s plan for me set. I am certain, if even I wanted to look away from her I would not have been able to. This tiger girl had snared me in more ways than one, and so had the Tesseract.

Without consent the vision was ripped from me, leaving me breathless, disoriented, and enraged, but not before I got a mental image of my surroundings—most notably, a steel plaque on the wall, back-lit with harsh fluorescent, casting a deformed shadow on the floor “S.H.I.E.L.D.” it said. And there, just outside of the girl’s prison, a dark-skinned man cloaked in shadow wearing a grim expression and an eye-patch. He studied her with the same intensity I had.

I had everything I needed. Somehow I would find her, no matter the cost.
