more creechur farmer???? (it doesn’t have to be a drawing, just lore or anything like that works, i absolutely love the idea and art!!!!)

Omg hahaha i didn't expect this many people to like my lame ass farmer (i love my child 🫶). Tbh i haven’t pieced out everything about em myself and i'm just making doodles/illustrations of em and putting them together, especially in the cryptid department. But i can tell you some of the more basic stuff and maybe some of the cryptid things that I think are not gonna change…?

Anyways here are some of the writting stuff:

TRAITS:

The farmer can speak but just doesn't cause it, well they don't want to. They do occasionally when they feel like it or when it's necessary. Otherwise they just use a notepad or sign language. 

Tends to be quite curious, like borderline dumb curious. Went inside a water cave once because they thought there might be treasures inside of it. Got dragged out by their older cousin.

Silent fucker, doesn't make any sound usually when walking to places unless they are carrying something heavy. 

Got quite strong after moving to the farm, the farmwork and construction helped them build more strength. 

Falls asleep easily in uncomfortable places. Idk why the guy is just weird.

FAMILY:

The farmer has a family back in Zuzu city and some relatives near the valley, like a couple towns away( more lore I guess? There is so much haha). I have actually made a family tree for em but it's mostly sketching and the portraits are quite old so I will need to update it at some point. 

The farmer's family consists of one sister and two moms. The farmer and the sister are not adopted. 

Baby farmers' first words were bark. 

They are only close to one of their mom’s, their sister keeps them at arm's length (no idea why) and their mother is quite strict.

POST-FARM:

The farmer is in their mid 20’s and did not go to university, the guy took one lecture and dropped out. Instead they took some courses and job hopped until they landed in Joja. They worked there for only 3 years. 

Used to volunteer in the animal shelter, quite fond of animals. Sometimes they thought they could understand them.

Very minimalist when it comes to stuff like clothes, food and activity. They keep a certain amount of clothes since they don't find it necessary to have more than what they can use. If they do get new clothes it is usually because the old ones are destroyed. 

Used to live in a tiny apartment (I mean TINY, I will make a sketch of the old apartment if i remember.) somewhat resembled a studio apartment but less picturesque. But they liked it, felt cosy to them. 

Has actually quite a lot of friends even though they never tried to socialise, the guy is often described as “magnetic”. They do have a couple close friends and usually talk to them in their free time. 

Likes pickles as a snack and collects bear related stuff. On their weekends they would go to the animal sanctuary to look at bears and eat cucumbers.

RELATIONSHIPS:

HA, this bitch cant pull. They do attract but they can't pull, horrible at socialising, just awful. 

As said before even though they absolutely suck ASS at socializing, something about them is magnetic to people. But those people are usually kept at an arm 's distance, since the farmer knows that they don't seem to really have an interest in em.

Has had a couple relationships before, mostly stiff and boring ones since they never desired anyone to THAT extent. But if they do fall they fall hard. 

Their closest relationship right now in the valley is Linus, The wizard and Evelyn. They are trying really hard to befriend others but don't know how to properly approach it besides just giving them gifts and doing tasks for them. 

Does in fact have a thing for Shane. Poor guy is going through it. 

CRYPTID RELATED:

The farmer does have avian genes from the non grandpa side of the family.

The grandpa had “relations” with a forest guardian. By relations i mean that Gramps and the forest guardian become friends after Gramps comes across the secret woods and FG was like “hey i think you are cool and a good candidate as a future holder of the valley” and gramps was like “nice” and then he gave them some hair, skin and sweat. FG mixes it and after a year the farmer's mom and other siblings are born. 

They are kind of a “fae” I guess but i don't know if they qualify as they do have some of the traits but not all?

 When the green rain happens it  causes them to forcefully transmute into their more avian form. They have no control over it, since it's a new thing to them. Their wings are usually as big if not bigger than them and they get a tail. The change is mostly painless as for the most part its natural materials around them that helps them shape it. Besides the fur and feathers that shit is coming out of them.

The aftermath of the transmutation it's usually a lot of shedding and getting their instincts in check since when it happens their senses get heightened.  

Shane has seen them in the midst of a tranz when walking back from the mines, it was one of the first times the farmer started noticing the weird stuff going on with them.

Oh yeah, they do have fangs or something similar to it, they occasionally puncture their tongue so they are unable to speak for a certain amount of time.

Shadow High series 3 my new beloved

I didnt even like most of em until i saw them in person, but the knowledge that they'll probably never be in the show has my brain in a "well its free realestate" kinda mood

Random list of information cuz ive been plotting out friend dynamics and background lore

-i like to pretend Rainbow High/Shadow High are actually Rainbow University/Shadow University cuz im in art college Right Now and i think it makes more sense with the whole dorm room situation. And also major makes more sense than focus IMO

-I changed Pinkie's major from film to just undeclared. I think she eventually does land on Film. She just has a lot of interests! Her dream has always been to one day direct films, and I think she comes to love them even more while developing ideas her with the group as she winds up in a Director/Producer position for most of them. BUT also every time she takes a class in a different program she cant help but fall in love with that way of making art too. So she has a hard time picking for a while and changed her major a couple times before landing on Film.

-Pinkie and Berrie bond a lot over a shared interest in vocal synths (tho Berrie knows more about them than her).

-The two made Pinkie's vtuber model together!

-the fandom wiki says PJ is from germany?? Idk how canon that is tbh but ive decided to embrace it i guess

-Rooney's canon name is Scarlet Rose, but i thought it was kinda lame especially when Rosie Redwood is also in this line sooo I renamed her! Stuck to the color name puns tho. Mar Rooney. Maroon. Haha

-Speaking on her though i love that shes from texas and likes writing scifi mystery type stuff and that being said i just Know deep in my bones that she was a Voltron Legendary Defender fan and Keith was/is 100% her favorite. She has a continued fondness for mothman specifically cuz of this.

-PJ and Rooney actually talk about fandom and shows/movies ALL the time. They dont have a ton of overlapping interests, but where they do? The two literally never shut up.

-Rosie is such a random character, like outside of her design she feels very poorly considered. So I scrapped the cosmetology thing and made her an illustrator instead! I think it works better with her love of making art in nature. I can see her being really into illustrated guide books. I think shes a bit snooty when it comes to art too. It takes being friends with other artists to become more open minded.

-I like the idea that Rosie is mainly friends with Rooney and Berrie ontop of that. The three of them often tag team storylines and how theyd interpret them into different mediums. Rosie will draw up a bunch of concept stuff while Rooney writes up a pitch bible and Berrie will start making shit move and throwing in her own ideas on camera angles and character designs.

-as an animation major Berrie was required to take a sound design class early on, which is where she met Oliver! Hes very laid back, and likes to go with the flow, but functions a little like the "mom" of the group. Often reminding the girls to take breaks, drink water, stop looking at their screens lest they get eye strain etc. He's multi-talented tbh but Music is his one true passion and he likes how the girls are always giving him collaboration opportunities.

-Oliver and Rosie like to talk sports a lot, both having played a bunch when they were younger and throughout high school.

-Lavender Lynn is Oliver's number one "person who needs constant reminders to settle down" she is in a constant buzz of trying to get the best shots and is utterly obsessed with the process of artistic documentation. Everything must be documented.

-the whole school loves her for this actually, she has a whole side gig where other students hire her to help photograph their projects. She saves everything she earns from this for her future dream plans to visit paris. She has it set really, many of the artists who she helps photograph now will remain steadfast clients of hers forever onward.

-PJ and Lynn actually took a print media class together at one point. Which didnt at the time spark an everlasting friendship. But it did give PJ an easier in to ask for Lynn's help documenting a project the group was working on. One of Lynn's first times photographing them work happened to fall on a day where Rosie had planned to trick everyone into going on a nature walk sans devices... Lynn wound up really appreciating this outing and decided to continue hanging around the group even after that project had ended.

LOTR in a modern world headcanons? I think yes.

LOTR x GN! Reader, general headcanons for if you had to take care of them today, in 2023. Enjoy!

The ring most likely has no power in this dimension, so yay Frodo is free from torment!

Sam loves watching cooking, gardening and home renovation shows, and he gets very invested in the former two. You learn a lot you didn’t really need to know from his commentary

Once Pippin learns about pyjamas and fuzzy slippers he never goes back, you literally cannot get him out of them

Boromir and Aragorn, being human and coincidentally two of the most responsible members of the fellowship, are the easiest to take in public to the grocery store and such.

You can pass off the hobbits (if they cover their ears with their hair) as children, and Gimli is your friend with dwarfism.

Gandalf you can pass off as your grandfather, and Legolas looks pretty normal if you cover his ears.

Pippin is the type to bounce in his seat in the car and ask “Are we there yet?!” every 5 minutes

Frodo really likes to draw, especially when there’s so many cool places and movies to draw inspiration from.

Movie nights? No horrors. The hobbits are terrified by ‘em.

Movie nights are literally so difficult because they all have such different tastes

Merry really likes James Bond movies.

Pippin is obsessed with nail polish when you introduce him to it. Boromir gets his repainted every time the polish come off. His nails need serious help after a while

Pippin and Merry often start pillow fights, and drag everyone else into it

If you have space for a garden or plants in your home, Sam is on it. He finds it calming, so now you have some home grown plants :)

Taking the hobbits in public? Bad idea. You can trust Frodo and Sam, but Merry inevitably drags Pippin off to do something dumb and possibly dangerous.

Gandalf has an old man rocker. There is no discussion.

The hobbits do the classic “getting one sibling to ask for fast food because whoever’s in charge will say yes”, they get Frodo to do this because he has the best puppy dog face and he’s unsure about asking for things normally.

Pippin and Merry cannot handle too much caffeine or sugar or they go crazy

You thought Legolas’ hair was good before? He steals your hair care products and his hair is literally perfect.

(He’s also willing to do skincare with you, not that his face needs it. Again, flawless)

Game nights are so chaotic. You can’t play a lot of games since they don’t know what many things from this world are, so games like Trivia and Charades are off the table

Gimli and Legolas verse each other in video games, often enough it ends with Legolas winning and Gimli rage quitting

Aragorn is so responsible he’s literally the perfect man to do anything with, and he can hold the fort down if you need to leave

Pippin is so clingy, he trails you wherever you go and asks you random questions but it’s adorable

Boromir insists on carrying your stuff, bags of groceries, all that

Frodo often goes to the library to find new books to read, with you of course

There’s a whole debate on whether 3D or 2D animation is better, i would not get involved if i were you.

Pippin and Merry are also avid fans of quoting their favourite movies, once they see them

Legolas and Frodo are the best listeners, they will just sit there and not judge or try to give you advice they just. sit there. like the perfect men they are.

Legolas would have a meme for everything. Like any situation. You text him like “PIPPIN FELL DOWN SOME WELL WE DON’T EVEN HAVE A WELL HELP” and he just has a meme that fits the situation perfectly.

Frodo and Legolas would watch Avatar: The Last Airbender together because it’s their favourite show. Aragorn jumps in also.

Those three are also avid tea drinkers.

Boromir likes Game Of Thrones. I don’t know anything about it, he just does. Please confiscate Pippin while he does.

Pippin gasps dramatically whenever a plot twist surprises him.

Sam loves to cook, and he does a lot of cooking in the house once he arrives. You two just work together in the kitchen (if you can’t cook, he’ll teach you) and have nice sweet conversations

Legolas is great at doing people’s hair. If you ask him to, he’d probably agree, though he’d probably be a bit flustered as that is a courting ritual in his culture.

Ask Legolas to talk to you until you fall asleep. His voice is so heavenly istg-

The hobbits get sleepy when their hair is played with and it’s adorable

Won’t lie this hyperfixation came back then it circled back to TMNT and today i watched these films with my friend and now i’m back to LotR love. Most of this has been sitting in my drafts for a couple weeks.

how do you visualise Gwen? As ironic as it is, I am god awful at visualizing characters. I usually go based off of ‘vibe’, and pieces of character designs I enjoyed, so hearing any of your opinions on how they may look (if you have any) would be interesting.

on an unrelated note, do you draw parallels to yourself and Gwen at all? How do you feel reading scripts? Do you view it as yourself doing these actions as Gwen? Just curious.

one final question, do you like cats or dogs more (if other please specify.), what is your favorite breed/color/etc of said animal?

To answer both part one and part two, I suppose:

I've never really envisioned Gwen as an entity (not a hint) outside of myself, which is lovely really (and quite rare, I think). It definitely helps when it comes to embodying her in recording sessions, as I don't have to reach for her in the same way as I've had to with other characters I've played. She was a character that I felt I instantly knew the essence of the moment I auditioned, even if I didn't know the details (and even if some of the details have ended up making her very different from myself).

Don't get me wrong, I still used to annotate scripts half to death and ask poor Alex half a dozen questions per session, but I've found I don't need to do that as much any more as I've got to know her better.

So I guess, like Jonny, I just see her as me, but that's only because I happen to be the one playing her! One of the most joyful things about working on an audio-only project is seeing the huge variety of creative interpretations of your character, and I can guarantee that if you've ever posted fanart of Gwen, there's a good 95% chance I've seen it (and been very, very impressed).

As for part three ... I'm just an animal person. I love 'em all. I saw a photo of a polar bear having a nap today and very nearly cried.

YES YES! That was very much intentional! :DD And the answer lies in the fazbands!

The animatronics can scan the Fazbands and get any important information about the child they might need. Such as the child's name, age, and which parent they belong to.

The Fazbands also act as a proof of purchase. If the the animatronic scans a child and no fazband is detected, that child must be brought to an employee. As there is no current proof that the child has had their admission paid. Hence why Gregory has a red outline, he has no fazband!

The blue kids all have standard fazbands. As every kid is given when they enter the pizzaplex.

But if its your kids birthday, they are given a special fazband that has them show up differently in the animatronics scanners. This tells the animatronics that the golden kids are the birthday boys/girls! And they will address the child as such if they ever encounter them. :)

(Also there's an Easter egg in one of those panels that no ones pointed out yet.. 👀)

Oh yeah, there's a lot of em. :( But the animatronics don't have to worry about them. They have handlers to watch over them and keep angry Karen's/crowds away.

I haven't really figured out their whole schtick yet..

I think in the partial swap they haven't changed much. Although Monty is a kindler gentler Monty. With Foxy by his side he's simmered down some. And his theme is a little different than before.

Roxy I think is more of a recluse in the partial swap, like original Monty is.

As for the true swap.? I haven't really figured it all out yet. Thinking that Roxy is a golfer and Monty is a racer..? I haven't thought it all through yet <XD

:DD Hiii!! I use FireAlpaca! Its got some problems but at least its free! Its easy to learn but also has enough tools to be used by a professional! You can also animate with it if you have the patience to figure out how to use it XD

Overall, 7.5/10 would recommend FireAlpaca!

"Give 'em here,"

"Hm?" Levi hums distractedly, briefly glancing up at you from his desk. A solid stack of paper rests on the dark wood, one he's been slowly working through for more than an hour. Eyes flicking back down to his current page, he grimaces, fingers tightening on the pen. Black ink continues across the page in a tight, stiff scrawl.

You approach his side, dragging your fingers across the smooth, recently polished mahogany. Unlike Erwin's gargantuan desk, his is a more conservative workspace, kept mostly clear besides whatever he's currently working on, a small candle in the far corner and the occasional steaming cup of tea. Sliding the white pages to the side, you take their place, plopping down onto the hardwood. Plucking the pen from his grasp, it quickly joins the pages by your hip. You reach out, miming a grabbing gesture like an eager child, "Your hand. Gimme."

“Are you really so needy? Already?” He sighs, leaning back in his chair. Running his fingers through his bangs, Levi glares up at you. "I still have 20 pages to finish."

"Nope," you say with a firm pop. "I've noticed you taking little breaks. Stopping to try to stretch your fingers. Give it here."

“Weren’t you supposed to be reading?” His eyes flick toward the office’s couch, your book resting closed on the middle cushion. “Couldn’t keep your eyes off of me?”

You smirk, “How could I, with you hissing in pain over here.” You wiggle your fingers again. “I think I even heard you whimper a few times. Now gimme.”

Eyes narrowing, his fingers twitch from where they're resting on his thigh. “Is this just some shitty excuse to hold my hand?”

Teasing, you knock into his knee with your own. “Like I need to ask?" This.. this whatever it is between you might be new, but it's nice. It's refreshing. Something easy while everything else seems to be difficult. "No silly! I’m going to give you a hand massage!”

His nose curls up, brows drawing tight. At his thigh, the digits in question curl into the fabric of his thigh. “A what?”

Holding your hand out, palm open in askance, you try again. “It’ll help. I promise.”

“Fine.” Finally his hand falls into yours. It's stiff, the digits held firm and tense like those of a wary animal.

Patting the back of his hand, you cheer exaggeratedly. “There you go! That’s a good boy!”

He clicks his tongue, “Don’t praise me like i’m some fucking cat.”

“Then don’t act like one.” Twisting the back of his hand to rest on your thigh, you interlace your fingers loosely with his, rubbing your thumb firmly into the meat of his palm. “Relax.”

With a sigh, he does, if only a little bit. Still, his shoulders are tight, eyes locked onto where your hand is wrapped around his, following the firm press of your thumb into the meat beneath his own.

“You have such beautiful hands,” you murmur, torn between watching your work and watching him watching you. Suddenly, you feel warm, anxious excitement prickling along your spine. You'd gone into this so confidently, you can only hope that it actually helps. “Have I told you how much I love your hands?”

His lips curl, a filthy smirk peeking up along the edges. “My fingers, yes. Loudly.” His fingers loosen, curling to press along the back of your hand.

"Ha," you snort, happy to see him a bit more relaxed. Stretching his hand out flat, you glide your fingers along the length of each of his digits, one after the other. They pop a little bit, small airy noises.

"You take such good care of your hands," you note, twisting it to press his palm to your thigh. He has callouses, that's for sure, rough little patches at the base of each finger. There's little knicks too, white lines of thin aged scars. A particularly deep one is gouged into the length of his pointer finger, right along the outer edge. Still, his skin is soft, you tell him as much.

He shrugs, swallowing heavily and watching you follow along his fingers, pressing heavily into the skin. "Just like to keep clean. You know that."

Huffing, you reply, "I'm pretty sure everyone on base knows that." Even his nails are pretty, perfectly trimmed without even a single bit of dirt beneath them. Even the cuticles have been pushed up. Dragging the tip of your finger along the perfectly smooth rounded edge of his nail, you note, "I'd love to paint your nails. It'd be like a good old fashioned sleepover."

Levi hums, eyes heavy. His hand is no longer stiff, relaxed completely into your grip. "What's that?"

You gasp, "A sleepover? You don't know what a sleep over is?"

His lips thin, somewhere between a frown and a scowl. "I didn't exactly have a normal up-bringing, remember."

"Oh," you breathe. Sometimes it's so easy to forget that his missed out on most normal childhood experiences. "Don't let Hange ever find out. They'll go on a whole rampage."

Levi rolls his eyes, "I'm sure. So what is it?"

"Hmm," you struggle, "It's sort of like a girl's night?"

He replies slowly, not quite understanding, "Girls..night?"

"Boys had them too!! And there were mixed ones! They were fun!" Hand still working against his, you trace your fingers along the boney lines on the back of his hand, watching the skin shift as you press into him. "It's like... pillow fights! And painting each others nails!"

His brows scrunch up in confusion, eyes distant as he tries to imagine the experience. "That sounds...fun."

Excited, you continue, "There were games too! Truth and Dare! Oooh and spin the bottle!"

Levi's eyes widen in horror, no doubt recognizing those as games the younger scouts play, often under the influence of heavy amounts of alcohol. "Hange would go on a rampage," he agrees solemnly.

Pressing his palm down into the meat of your thigh, you push into his first knuckle. It pops, loud and resonant, beneath the press of your thumb. Levi tenses, hissing at the uncomfortable sensation.

Heedless, you continue onto the next, earning another loud pop. And another. And another, until all five joints have been released. “It’s such a shame that your hands been bothering you.”

His shoulders dip in a long sigh, eyes fluttering closed. “It’s really not that big of a deal. It’s fine.”

Flipping his hand back over, you tug at his forefinger, quickly pulling the length to pop it. “You’ve been holding your fingers weird for awhile now. How long have they been hurting?”

“It’s nothing. An ache, if anything,” he shifts uncomfortably in his chair. As you tug at another one of his fingers, he grunts. “A couple weeks.”

You switch your grasp, pinching your fingers together and pulling along the lengths of his own, no longer popping them, merely soothing the sore muscles. "Do you think it's gear aches?"

He grumbles something under his breath, low enough that you can't really catch it. "I'm not some fucking brand-new cadet."

As with most physical activities, using ODM gear hurts at first. The constant grip strength makes your hands ache, burning with red hot pain as muscles build and callouses form. New cadets complain constantly about the pains, dubbing them 'gear aches' and constantly whine to the medical staff for lotion to sooth their hands until they can adjust.

"It's not just new cadets," you note with a hum, "Sometimes scouts complain about them after training particularly hard."

"I never even had them when I started out," Levi clicks his tongue. "Izzy had them pretty bad though. Had to find some lotion for her."

"Find or steal?" The glower you get in response is answer enough. You smooth your thumb along his palm, repeating your earlier actions and working the digit hard enough into his muscle to earn a grunt. "Of course you didn't get gear aches. Is there anything you're not immediately perfect at?"

Levi purses his lips, but you cut in before he can speak, "Ah ah, no self deprecating."

He grumbles something very quiet under his breath.

"What was that?"

He responds quietly, barely audible. "I'm shit at paperwork."

"It's just something new. You'll get used to it eventually." Levi's hands are so small, his palm wide and the fingers long and thin. The skin is pale enough that you can trace the blue lines of his veins, where they twist and curve along the back of his hand and across his palm. Dainty. His hands are dainty, graceful yet somehow still masculine. "Okay.. so it's not gear aches. What is it then?"

You can barely catch it, but Levi's eyes flicker towards the stack of papers by your thigh. At just the same time, your fingers catch a rough spot on the side of his middle finger. A callous. It seems to be newer, up towards the top of the digit, near the first joint. Wait a minute..

The realizations strikes you so fast, you can't help but blurt out, "It's the paperwork!"

Levi scowls, fingers twisting into your palm. He looks shy, ducking his head down. "It's fucking useless anyways. Why do those pigs need to know every time someone on my team scrapes their knee? Or fucks up their uniform in training?"

You stiffen your shoulders, pitching your voice low in a rough imitation of Erwin. "Levi, cataloging our mistakes is an important measure to prevent them going forward. A mere scrape during training could equate to a loss of-"

"-Stop. Shut the fuck up," Levi cuts you off with a small laugh, "That's such a shitty imitation of him."

You're happy to see him smile and the sound of his laughter has your heart doing somersaults in your chest. You pat his hand softly, "You don't need to stress so much about it. Most of it just ends up decorating some tiny little storeroom in the basement of headquarters. Erwin might glance at some of the more important ones, like incident reports- but the higher ups don't really care.

The fingers of Levi's free hand disappear into the inky blackness of his bangs, frustration oozing from his features, "If they're just going to end up in some musty-ass storeroom, then why the fuck do I have to fill out 50 fucking pages every week?"

"If you're lucky some higher up might even use the pages to wipe his ass," you chirp, enjoying the resulting snort. "Us scouts are scrutinized pretty heavily, ya' know. Sometimes I think Erwin is just desperately trying to keep us funded."

Levi frowns, "And so he's, what? Overloading them with useless nonsense?"

"Maybe? I certainly wouldn't put it past him. Something you're actually bad at is relaxing. Just take breaks every once and awhile. You don't need to do it all in one sitting." At some point during the conversation you'd stopped massaging his hand, instead merely fiddling with the lengths of his fingers. "Did the massage help?"

Levi grunts, "Yeah." His finger pat your thigh. "It was nice. Thanks."

"They don't ache anymore?" His hand is still limp and heavy, warm against your thigh.

"No." His hand rises, fingers stretching cautiously. "Feels kind of fuzzy, actually."

"That's good. I'm glad." You expect him to scoot you back to the couch so he can get back to the paperwork, but he doesn't. He just sits there, not wanting you to move. "If I had some lotion it probably would've been even better."

"Maybe next time," he replies. He shuffles in his seat, scootching forward several inches so his knees knock the inside of your thighs.

"Next time?" Your surprise is doubled when his other hand falls into your lap, palm up with back pressed to the fat of your thigh.

His eyes ask the question that his mouth doesn't and your fingers immediately start kneeding into the meat of his palm.

Lumi headcanons

i have dragged myself outta the hell that's been my weekend and have FINALLY cobbled together all of my thoughts abt Lumine,,, it's a lot so bear w/ me bc i love her so so so much. the big list of h/c's: - extroverted lumi,,, - tired older sister / mom of Paimon. Paimon may know more about Teyvat than Lumine does, but Lumine's the one who takes care of Paimon and guides her through the harder things in life; definitely gives the vibes of Paimon being a kid sister and Lumine being very protective of her. somewhat mother but also not??? definitely the adult between the two smh - incredibly smart. very perceptive with a lotta intuition. i mean, you need to be able to be quick on the draw if you're going to be traveling nonstop, y'know?? - paragon Lumi is my roman empire. - frugal as SHIT, penny pincher extraordinaire. Paimon has yet to find all the emergency funds, and Lumine is adamant on KEEPING it that way. - abandonment issues. listen,,, listen she's got em, we all know she does, and i feel like she gets very attached to people but doesn't really let them know. - stemming from abandonment issues, I feel like she's got this issue of putting the weight of the world on her shoulders? like she cannot let herself feel negative emotions and bottles up a lot of the bad shit she deals with. her belief is that if she's not being a positive force, she's failing everyone around her and they'll one day leave her behind. - adding onto that bit, it definitely shows through the fact that she's not quick to actually anger. like her anger is VERY VERY rare, and usually she's very relaxed and tries to work through things as calmly as possible. - despite lumi being slow to anger, she's def violent in a mischievous gremlin way. definitely gives the vibe of 'u called me short, i am consuming ur knee caps'. But this is more of a bit and something to do as an intimidation tactic for ppl who don't know her, and it feels very accurate tbh - Lumi is bilingual, nothing more needs to be said. - she has scars. like a few of em, too. Mostly from her adventures in Teyvat, since she's less durable than she's used to being??? She has some scars from her fight against Dvalin, a scar or two from fighting Childe, a LOT of scars from Inazuma, as well as scars from using the elements!! - on the topic of scars, i DO believe she has scars from losing her wings in the fight with the Unknown God. and like, this hurts her. she feels such intense guilt over what happened and how she failed to protect her brother. she would gladly boast to you about any of her scars, but if you mention the ones on her back, she gets,,, quiet,,,, - i have done a deep dive dissection of the differences between the twin's elemental animations, and one day i will post that i swear; but for now all imma say is that Lumi struggles w/ Geo element the most. - fear of failure! i mentioned it before, but I personally feel like this has such a huge affect on her? - speaking of fears; CLAUSTROPHOBIA! listen, lumi definitely feels like she'd be claustrophobic, can't handle tight spaces. she also is terrified of the Abyss specifically, but tight spaces? unable to move? feeling trapped???? yeah, she's got that besties. - she feels like such a mom sometimes i s2g. like some of these characters feels like characters she would call her kids teasingly. personally believe Bennett called her "mom" once and he hasn't been able to live it down since b/c she refuses to answer to anything else from him now. - protective Lumi is my favorite, nothing more to add. - Lumine is very dancer-like in a lot of her animations, so me personally i think she would be a good dancer ong. - GOD tiered Cook, she's so fuckin good at that shit, like girl can crack just about any damn recipe she gets.

Hello? Hello Hello?

...Well, this place has been dead for a little bit, hasn't it?

Mentioned a little bit before on that collab piece I did, but figured I'd be better to do a full post bout it here!

So, this AU...has been laying dormant for quite some time, and there's not really any excuses for that. I've just been a little busy with school and life in general, but mainly...haven't had much motivation to do it in all honesty, and their's two main factors to that unmotivation.

1. I kinda realized I'd be needing to write a lot for this story, and though I love writing in general...the scope of this would be like writing a few novels if I continued on, and I just wouldn't have the time or sanity to do that, but more on that later for a solution...

And 2. ...I kinda fell out of FNaF for a moment. Well- Not entirely, I'll always love this series, but I guess it was mainly...the state of the fandom after one certain game...Security Breach. After that game came out, it kinda broke the fandom in half. One half being those who hate the game and left the franchise entirely, now seeing it as nothing but for kids and not taken seriously, and the other...well, actually kids. Y'know the ones. You know.

So that kinda left me kinda unsure for my AU, since I thought if I put stuff out now...it wouldn't really be that appreciated. From the start it was meant to harken back to the original classics of FNaF, but with the fandom mostly filled with newcomers for just this one game, and the original fans gone and unhopeful for the franchise, I just kinda...left this place dorment till I felt motivated again.

...And then the Ruin DLC happened, which gave me a spark of motivation. Seemed this franchise was starting to to head to a better place, getting some old fans back, so that's nice. Got me thinking more bout this AU again...

And then the movie happened, and now i've been slapped in the face with motivation.

SO- Guess that's my excuse for why things have been so empty, but now...I AM READY TO OFFICIALLY SAY IT IS STARTING BACK UP! And not just that...but starting fresh! ...Which, isn't saying much, since I only wrote two chapters for it...y e a h - But there's a reason I'm starting fresh, not just for improved art or retconing some of the mistakes of what I did give out, but mainly because...

I'm turning the AU into a comic!!

That's right! Gonna be drawing the whole thing start to finish! Figured this would be better to me since it's quicker then writing it all, and get to show and improve more of my art, so works out! (You can already kinda see some of that with the new pfp and header) Maybe might get some help in the future, maybe might dable in some animation, maybe a lot of things, but guess we'll just hafta see where it goes from here!

What does that mean for the previous content though? All...f o u r of it? Well, that stuff is gonna be non-canon from here on out! It'll be easier this way since those stuff have either some continuity errors that'll effect the story in the long wrong, or just simply I've changed my mind on some things and it'll be a bit more different! I'm still leaving them up, however! Just cause I think it'll be fun to see how far I've come, and ey some art pieces there weren't bad! ...Too bad...okay like one or two were d e c e n t

TLDR of it tho is this: AU's getting a reboot, gonna be made into a comic now, previous stuff is non-canon, and this page should be a bit more active now!

But yeah! Big things are coming, and I am excited to start up this AU again! I have so many plans for this story that I'm just hoping you guys will love, wanna do justice to both sides of the story! So keep an eye on this blog, might take a little longer, but hoping to get things officially and finally started soon!

Been a little bit since my last post! Sorry this one isn’t going to be a very long one either. I’ve been very busy with my new job and personal work, but I did want to talk about three movies I saw recently! And while I won’t spoil anything major, these thoughts may cloud your judgement going into the films, so I recommend avoiding if you wanna go in with an open mind. Anyway, let’s go:

BARBIE

Barbie was such a fun film! It made me laugh out loud way more than it had any right to. Seriously, there’s a joke Will Ferrel nonchalantly says that I can’t get outta my mind. I had tears in my eyes. Not gonna spoil it but if you know, you know. The themes are quite existential, but in a playful enough way that I didn’t leave it thinking “bummer…” If I had to complain about anything, it’s that Barbie was kinda inactive for the final act. To the point where I was asking myself “what is Barbie doing?” Maybe you’d see what I meant if you watched it. (Or disagree) I still had a good time tho.

It’s worth a watch!

TMNT MUTANT MAYHEM

This is my favorite TMNT movie now, and my favorite personification of the turtles. The art direction, emotional stuff, comedy, action, and characters were all on point. There’s a moment where Leo has a heart to heart with his bros that didn’t feel as earned as it could’ve (on first viewing) I only bring this up because it’s a thought I had as the scene was going on. Where as everything else in the movie felt organic and original, this scene felt like a tried and true motivational speech beat that these types of movies generally have. If that makes sense? I’d have to watch it again to be sure. And thankfully, I’d gladly watch it again because I had such a good time.

THEY CLONED TYRONE

This is a Netflix original and boy was I blown away. I swear, John Boyega is on Leo DiCaprio’s level of changing into a whole new person for his roles. I’m never sure who I’m gonna get. He really killed it. I’m not gonna spoil this movie and honestly if you go in blind it might be better. The directing is really REALLY good, too. There’s a scene that I really loved, where we’re with a character for an extended amount of time in one shot. This is to build tension for a pretty crazy moment afterwards and it was VERY well done. These types of scenes are so cool to me because I’m used to cutting often in animation. But in live action, these scenes are really good for getting inside a character’s head. I really can’t explain without spoiling but if you’ve watched the movie, I thiiiiink you know the scene I’m talking about.

Anyway, the cast, direction, and plot are all top notch. Jamie Foxx is hilarious as always, and Teyonah Parris gets to shine in this film. I loved her character in this compared to Wandavision where her talent was wasted.

I think this movie is perfect for the culture, but if you’re not typically into movies with a majority black cast that deals with African American issues (in a really good way) then you probably won’t be impressed. Your loss, though! I believe that this, alongside movies like The Woman King, The Harder They Fall, and Get Out are examples of movies that have clear parallels to others in their respective genres, but add a twist that I appreciate because of their characters and writing. I used to be stuck with hood movies, but now I get hood mystery movies. I love it, is all I’m saying.

Anyway, I know what the next deep dive is gonna be. I just need to set aside free time to write it up. I’ve been wanting to do a write up about beat em up games. My favorite one, in particular. I want to analyze what I like about it, and what I don’t. Might do more drawing to go alongside it too. Anybody remember Advance Guardian Heroes?? Brace yourselves, lol.

How do you get your art/character interactions to be so expressive and organic? I've loved your art and ocs for years and keep coming back once in a while to skim through your Dragon Age and Elder Scrolls art to get inspired, so I wondered if you did specific art studies to get to where your art is right now?

Thank you for the compliment! I've got three answers (or exercises) for you and you can take them as you like 'em underneath the cut.

They are in order from Most Annoying to Most Pleasing.

The Noble Still Life

My parents threw me into art classes at around 6 years old. I don't mean to imply that that somehow makes me a better artist out of the gate--it truly doesn't--but it does mean that I've been doing still life studies for a sad but significant portion of my life. And as much as I hate drawing stupid fruit arranged with other stupid shit on stupid pieces of fabric, still life studies were really helpful across the board and especially with developing a sense of how shit works. ... Even if I go on to blissfully ignore what I've learned and draw fabric folds however the hell I want and put shadows wherever I damn well please.

The Ye Olde Master Study

As part of secondary school, we were also trotted out to local museums and parks and whatnot and told to just... have at it. So a lot of my sketchbooks from that time are filled with studies of library-lion-this and portrait-of-supposedly-important-man-that. Then, back in class, we were asked to imitate the old masters. Old Masters studies are really fucking fun and some of my favourite commissions have started out with phrases like "Can you recreate this Benjamin Constant painting but with my character as Empress Theodora?" or "How about a different Constant painting of Theodora?" I also do master-ish studies with my own digital paintings, like this one of Samson and this one of Bree. I think it's a fun exercise because it pushes me out of my comfort zone even if the end result doesn't look all that sophisticated or much like the original.

The Desperate Scribbles of the Human Form~

I should put gesture drawings and anatomy studies before master studies because in theory you need to know how to draw bodies before you start trying to paint in imitation of Caravaggio. (Now that I think about it, a deep knowledge of fruit is also essential to Caravaggio... but I digress.) In my art class, gesture drawings were more about flow and movement than it was about your unnerving ability to draw an elbow. Our teachers broke us using the Boiling Frog Technique, which was to say that they lulled us into a false sense of security by allowing us to sketch the person modelling for 10 minutes. Then 5 minutes. Then 3 minutes. Then 2 minutes. Then 1 minute. Then 30 seconds because they were sadists. It is unfortunately an effective way of teaching 1) how bodies move and 2) how to capture the essence of a pose rather than the strict reality of it.

But I really like anatomy studies and I really, really like drawing hands. And more hands. And even more hands. And then some more hands just in case. And then, just to shock and surprise everyone, a torso. A good chunk of my sketchbook is just me drawing faces and hands and eyeballs and hands and faces and sometimes feet when I can't remember how ankles work.

Other Weird Tips That Don't Quite Count As Studies:

If you don't wanna sketch in a museum or go to a park or stare at a stranger's ankles to figure out how ankles work, then go pull up fantasy stock photos on DeviantArt or take a photo of yourself and then get to sketching. That's what I do!

Watch a shitton of animated films. There's a fluidity & theatricality to how characters move in animated films that I love. Sometimes it seems like every inch of the character is expressing the emotion they're feeling. I find it personally inspirational even if I feel like gnawing off my own hand every time I attempt to draw my own frame-by-frame animation.

Study film. I studied film very, very briefly and a wee snippet of that was studying storyboards (as in: in library, with book) and doing some storyboard art projects (as in: at desk, with sketchbook). I treat every comic I do as if I was storyboarding the animated scene from the disjointed animated film in my brain and then polish it up to make it more readable/enjoyable.

Hellooo, hope you're doing well ^_^ I've been wanting to draw the Avalor siblings for sooo long now. I made this very not-finished and incomplete art for em but I hope it's enough to get the picture across ✌️

Some of my notes include 😅: I tried giving Ash a lil baby fat and they have big eyes as per the anime child Rule and yeeeee I had a lot of fun with miss Estella's dress. Lastly, I wanted to give Anya this super straight pose but my HC is that Estella intervened, hence the model-esque look ^0^ (nohandsthistime)

Nina: [entering the Record Store, smiling brightly] “Hey Eddie! How’s work going?”

Eddie: [groaning] “So fucking slow!” [Nina laughs at Eddie’s dramatics] “Rescue me.”

Nina: [smug] “Can’t, Karla gave me an early finish today, tough luck.”

Eddie: [grumbling] “Lucky for some, we’ve had two customers since we opened.”

Nina: “Guess what!” [excitedly] “Joyce came into work today and she said that I could go over to hers and she’d help me with my costume! How nice is that!”

Eddie: [smiling fondly] “Very nice.”

Nina: “Have you thought of your costume yet?”

Eddie: [shrugging] “I’ll think of something.” [Nina raises her eyebrow in amusement, Eddie smirks] “I promise, I’ll think of something!” [She shakes her head, laughing] “Are you staying over tonight?”

Nina: “Can’t, it’s a full moon tonight honey.”

Eddie: [teasingly] “And you can’t come over because you’re secretly a werewolf?”

Nina: [smirking] “I’m not the animal here baby.” [Eddie smirks and shakes his head laughing] “I’m doing that full moon ritual I was telling you about.”

Eddie: “Oh, cool! Can I watch? Please?”

Nina: “Really? You want to?”

Eddie: [excited] “Hell yeah! Watching my girlfriend do her cool occult shit? Doesn’t get much better than that.”

Nina: [rolling her eyes] “Not occult honey, witchy.”

Eddie: [teasingly] “That’s not what Jason thinks.” [Nina smirks at him] “I’d love to watch, if that’s okay?”

Nina: “Yeah, of course that’s okay!” [kissing him on the cheek] “I’ll pick you up around 11ish, baby.”

Eddie: “See you then, my little spooky lady.”

Nina: [calling out the door, cheerful] “‘Tis the season of the witch!”

11:45pm / Hawkin’s Junkyard field

Eddie [curiously] “And what does the moon do?”

Nina: [smiling] “It charges them. Like when your car battery uses up all of its energy it has to be recharged? When a crystal is worn out it needs to be recharged with moonlight.”

Eddie: [picking up a rose quartz crystal, interested] “And can anything else charge them?”

Nina: [laying out her crystals on the wet grass in a near row] “Moonwater,” [gesturing to the small vial of water she had laying in the moonlight], “Sage, and sometimes candlelight.” [smiling at Eddie] “Cool, huh?”

Eddie: [smiling back, stroking the pretty gemstones and crystals, poking at them] “Cool.” [he picks up the rose quartz again] “And they all have different meanings?”

Nina: “Sort of, they all have different properties.” [gesturing to the crystal in Eddie’s hand] “That one is rose quartz, it’s for unconditional love and supports emotional healing.”

Eddie: [smiling, playing with the crystals] “And this one?”

Nina: “That one is clear quartz, it’s used for healing and clarity.” [holding up another gemstone] “This one is aquamarine, it’s my birthstone. It’s supposed to be good for peace and empowerment.” [showing him a green stone] “This one is yours! It’s a peridot, it’s supposed to protect against negative energy and improve self confidence!” [giving him the gemstone] “Here, you keep it!”

Eddie: [grinning] “Seriously? I get to keep it?”

Nina: “Sure! Have this one too.” [handing him an Amethyst] “For protection.”

Eddie: “Thanks Nina, that’s so cool!” [playing with the gemstones] “Would you read my cards?”

Nina: “Of course! Come sit in front of me.” [Eddie moves so they’re sat on their knees face to face, Nina draws a circle around them both using her finger in the mud]

Eddie: [interested] “What are you doing?”

Nina: “Circle of protection, keeps the bad spirits away.”

Eddie: [joking] “Don’t think a circle in the mud can keep me away from you.”

Nina: [rolling her eyes] “Shush, you’re not a bad spirit.” [looking at him lovingly] “You’re anything but.”

Eddie: “So what happens now?”

Nina: “Now you pick three cards.”

Eddie: “Will you pick three too? We can do it together.”

Nina: [smiling] “Sure.” [they both pick three cards] “What cards have you got?”

Eddie: “I’ve got… for the past…” [Nina smiles at him proudly as he’s picked up what she’s taught him] “An upside down Four of Cups.” [Nina frowns slightly] “Present is an upside down Three of Swords,” [Nina nods, thoughtful] “And future is Nina of Swords! What does that mean?” [he looks at Nina excitedly who is frowning at the cards, he’s instantly worried but plays it off lightly] “Uh-Oh, that look doesn’t look good, I’m not going to die, am I?”

Nina: [cautious but reassuring] “You’re not going to die honey, no.” [Eddie lets out a dramatic breath, Nina smiles at him] “Four of cups in reverse means you’ve got a new outlook on life, that you’ve had a sign from the universe.”

Eddie: [flirty] “Well yeah, you came into my life, turned it upside down.”

Nina: [smirking, playing with the cards] “Your flirting is getting much better, great job.” [Eddie playfully kisses her knuckles] “Much better.”

Eddie: “What about the others?”

Nina: [smiling as he kisses up her arm, placing her arm on his shoulder] “Stop distracting me and I’ll tell you.”

Eddie: [smiling into her arm] “Nope.”

Nina: “Eddie..!”

Eddie: [mocking] “Nina…!” [she shoves him] “Fine, fine! Tell me.”

Nina: “Three of Swords in reverse means that you’re recovering from loss and letting go of the past.” [Nina looks at him with a raised eyebrow]

Eddie: “I think so, yeah.” [smiling at her happily] “I feel my luck is beginning to turn.”

Nina: [blushing at his compliment, then cautious] “And the nine of swords means… it’s…”

Eddie: [concerned] “Tell me.”

Nina: “Nightmares and crappy mental health, sadly.”

Eddie: [jokingly] “Well damn, honeymoon period is over.”

Nina: [offended] “Hey! I’d never cause you sleepless nights and sadness. Not purposefully anyway.”

Eddie: [rubbing his thumb over her cheek] “I know baby, I know.” [curiously] “What does it mean then?”

Nina: “It might not be literal, it might just mean a period of change is happening. Could just be nothing.” [reassuringly] “Don’t worry, I’ll be here with you whatever the storm brings.”

Eddie: [quietly, lovingly] “Thank you.” [smiling] “Your turn.”

Nina picks three cards and lays them out.

The past- Ten of Swords

The present - The Fool

The future- The Devil.

Eddie: “So, what do they mean?” [Nina blinks at the cards for a few moments, before coughing nervously] “Nina?”

Nina: “Well, they’re not good, but they’re not bad.”

Eddie: [laughing awkwardly, sarcastic] “Well that’s good, I was worried you were going to be vague about it.” [his attempt to make Nina laugh fails] “Tell me about them.”

Nina: “Past is… hitting rock bottom and the light at the end of the tunnel.” [looking at Eddie, trying to be reassuring] “That’s good, that’s true, right? I’m coming out the other side.” [Eddie smiles a small smile] “Present is new beginnings, also true. Taking a leap of faith, that’s good too.”

Eddie: “And the Devil?” [joking] “Are we proving Jason right and actually summoning Lucifer himself?”

Nina: “The devil is… something’s coming.” [frowning at the cards] “Something I can’t get out of.”

Eddie: [worried] “What kind of something?” [joking through his worry] “Are we talking a funk or a car crash here, love?”

Nina: “I don’t know. Could be anything.” [clearing up the cards] “Could be nothing.” [trying to be optimistic] “Either way, we’ll find out soon enough.”

Like you he loves and cares about the people close to him, would die for them. Would understand you so well when you express your feelings about family and friends.
