She was a beauty and for a long while you'd been under the impression that she would only be yours. For a while she was but right now? Now, here, in the present, you shared her.
It was simple. It was easy. You couldn’t say no to her, not when she looked at you the way she did.
The night it had come up in conversation had been nearly four months ago now. You were in bed together. Her finger tips trailed up and down your bicep. Her hair bunched up around her face as she rested her head on your shoulder.
“Darling,” she said into the night air, “I have to confess something to you.”
You squeezed her torso gently with the hold you already had around her. “Is everything alright, Sonia?” you asked.
You could feel the exhale of her breath against your skin. “Yes, everything’s perfectly fine. I’m just. . . worried about how you might react.”
It was your turn to drag your hands up and down her skin, along her spine. “Whatever it is, nothing could make me love you any less.”
“And nothing could make me love you less than I do,” she said. She pressed a kiss against your collarbone. “Do you recall my expression of attraction to Rauru?”
How could you forget? It’d come up in a teasing tone as you watched her eyes trail after him. A small question of if he was truly so captivating that he was able to pull her attention away from her work. She’d answered honestly and truthfully with a yes. You watched her a moment more and wondered briefly if that was how she looked at you when you didn’t see. Then you’d shaken your head and began to watch your surroundings once more.
“Yes, I do.”
“Those feelings have evolved as we’ve spent more time together into something more akin to how I feel for you,” she said, her careful, slow, and deliberate dragging of her fingertips never faltering. “It’s something I’d like to pursue but I wouldn’t want to betray your trust. At the very least, I felt it was something you should know.”
Your heart had stuttered and she no doubt felt it. She likely felt the pause in your fingers along the notches in her spine. She didn’t comment, however.
You placed a kiss to her hair. “How about we continue this conversation in the morning?”
“Of course, it’s late,” she said.
Now she was bent over maps with a pen in her hand which she twisted as she thought and Rauru’s hand on the small of her back as he peered over her. The contact was unnecessary but you could understand the want and desire for it despite the prickle of jealousy that sparked in your heart. You willed it down.
You were happy so long as she was. Truly, it was no lie to her, yourself, or anyone else. You’d noticed her brighten, seem a tad more radiant. It was nice. She deserved it. This was just something to get used to. Like all good things, it’d simply take time and that was one of Sonia’s specialties.
Some hours later, the day came to a close and you found yourself in Sonia’s bedroom. She was laying on the mattress as you straddled her thighs. She sighed and occasionally moaned as you worked the knots out of her back.
“Mmm. Higher, higher. A little to the left. No, that’s too far. A li— Ah, perfect,” she said.
Her hands clenched and unclenched around the bedsheets. Her body then went completely lax. She sniffed a bit and then nuzzled her head into the pillow.
There was a knock at the door.
“Who is it?” you asked before she got the chance.
“Rauru.”
You looked at her. Her body was bare. Her hair was pulled over her shoulder in a braid. Her top was completely gone. She had no underwear on.
She looked over her shoulder at you, who was in a similar state though you still wore your undergarments. You did have lotion on your hands but you were massaging that over her skin.
“It’s up to you, darling,” she said. “I don’t mind.”
You exhaled and steadied your breath. “Come in,” you told him.
The door didn’t creak as it opened but the dim light from the hallway did shine through. You moved off of her as she rolled onto her back. You both looked at Rauru around the same time as he processed what he walked in on, or what he assumed he had. His eyes went wide and his ears flickered back. His hand which still rested on the door handle tightened around it.
“Hello, Rauru,” she said, unaffected by what so clearly caught him off guard.
“Sonia. My apologies, I did not mean to interrupt something. I can leave,” he said.
“It’s okay,” you told him, extending a branch to him as he clearly drowned. “We weren’t doing anything important.”
Sonia gave you a look before she focused her attention back on Rauru. “Nothing that couldn’t bear interruption at least,” she corrected. “What brings you so late?”
He blinked several times and his grip on the doorknob relaxed. “You left your notebook in the council room,” he explained. “I tried returning it earlier but you weren’t here.”
Sonia got up to grab the book. “Ah, yes, well, can’t relax all the time.” She placed it on her desk. “It’s such a long way back to your room, Rauru. Why don’t you make yourself comfortable and stay for the night? We were just winding down for the night and I would love for you to join us. Although, darling, what do you think?”
You looked at her and then back at Rauru. “I wouldn’t mind.”
Her expectant eyes fell on him and he let go of the doorknob. “Nor would I.”
Sonia smiled. “Well, if you’ll both excuse me for a moment, I’d like to get ready for bed.”
She patted your hand and then his shoulder as she left for her bathroom. That left you alone with Rauru.
“I’m sorry,” he said after a moment, “I didn’t mean to intrude.”
“It’s fine,” you assured him. “We really weren’t doing anything important.”
“I’m sorry anyhow.” He walked a step closer. “I can’t help but feel like I’m encroaching on grounds that I should leave untread.”
You shook your head. “I’ll admit—“ you swallowed down a lump in your throat— “sometimes it feels that way but just a look at her and I realize that you’re not. I want you around. You make her happier. That is all I want. We just need to get used to it.”
“I suppose so,” he said, “but do tell me if you wish to be alone with her. I don’t have to step in on everything.”
Your fingers twitched, tightened, another moment of unwanted emotion. “As long as you do the same.”
Sonia walked back into the room. She grabbed Rauru’s hands to pull him down so she could place a kiss to his nose. She coaxed you close and placed a kiss to the corner of your mouth.
“Let’s sleep, shall we? It’s been a very tiring day,” she said and she took both your hand and Rauru’s to pull you to the bed.
You found yourself in her arms. Her hand rested on your heart and her leg was situated between yours. Her breath ghosted your neck. She was squished between you and Rauru. You could feel his hand against the small of your back but you didn’t mind. It was almost comforting. You were sure soon it would be.

Sonia's shocked both her short and long-term resolve lasts so long when you drag your fingers along her skin so slowly. The way you drag and swipe the sundelion, milk, and starch mixture of paint makes her breath hitch.
It's happened enough times for you to pass it off as her being ticklish.
She prays you one day realize why she truly remained so squeamish when you applied the paint to her skin.
"Calm down," you warn in a soft voice, one nail gingerly picking away the outlying paint of the teardrop before before wiping it off on the rag Sonia held. "You're trembling like a child."
Fixing the sheer fabric that covered her stomach (that was for warmth more than modesty), Sonia lets out a quiet noise. She holds the urge to lean up or bite her lip (that you had just finished coating in a dusty pink), focusing her gaze anywhere that wasn't you.
She's ashamed to admit that her heart beats erratically everytime you take ahold of her body. Whenever you lift, pinch, and turn her limbs or head, she can feel her heartbeat stop for several moments before choosing to move whenever like some mindless bug.
"What?"
"What?"
Sonia's voice is airier than she intends. She knows she sounds like a fool when she parrots your words, but she doesn't think she can do anything but repeat what she hears.
Her eyes follow your movements closely when you peel yourself away, the air previously trapped in her lungs finally leaving as you dip your finger into the paste. The warmth of your legs on either side of her hips seep into her bones, chills running through her nerves because of it.
Your breath beats gently on her face when you return to your previous position. Your thumb and forefinger gently take hold of her chin and turn her head to make her face away from you again. You gently blow a breath at her forehead, moving a strand of hair that threatened to fall into her eye.
You were always gentle with Sonia.
She envied whoever you settled down with.
"Sonia." You always used that tone when you knew something she didn't.
"Hmm?"
"What's wrong with you?" The hand holding her chin taps the knuckles of your other fingers against her jawline to pull her attention to you fully. You had yet to start on the next quartet of tears under her eyes, instead letting your worry take priority. "You'd usually talk my ear off about this date of yours. Does a Zonai have your tongue?"
Sonia shakes her head. She isn't sure where the confidence came from, but she grabs your hand and instead holds it between both of hers. "I was thinking of what you said."
"I say a lot of things, beloved," Sonia's heart leaps into her throat, "you'll have to remind me."
(You've always called her affectionate names; babe, my love, sweetheart, sweet girl, darling, princess— she should be used to it now.)
(She should, but she isn't.)
"I don't think I want to go on this outing." Sonia takes a steadying breath and gulp. Her fingers playing with yours, disregarding the paint on them. "When you said you didn't like how he was acting a few days earlier. I was thinking of that."
"Oh."
"Oh?"
That stupid parroting leaves Sonia once again, voice leaving her as more of a gasp than anything else. Her brows furrow when you remove the hand on her chin, leaning back on your legs and hovering over her hips.
"What do you mean oh?"
"I'm not allowed to make noises just because I want to?"
"Not when you say it with that lilt."
You shrug your shoulders as though you were the most innocent person in the world. A smug expression finds itself on your face and Sonia can't help but think that it looks good on you. "I'm just glad that you finally acknowledge I'm right for once."
Sonia rolls her eyes, but she can't help but let out an amused huff. "You are insufferable," she hums, hands moving down her sides to instead rest on your thighs and rock you.
"I can't possibly be that bad. You continue to spend your time with me everyday," you retort, wiping the paste dripping down your arm with the rag. Dipping your finger back into the mixture, you lean forward again. "Either way it'd be a waste to not to do something after I spent all this time doing your makeup."
"Are you telling me you'd rather have me all to yourself today?" Sonia isn't sure where her newfound confidence came from, but the reaction give her when her hands glide up to your hips excite her.
Your breath hitches as you drag your finger along the apple of her cheek once more, gaze jumping from her eyes to your work several times before finding comfort on the bridge of her nose. You did this often enough to have confidence in your strokes.
"And if I did?"
"May—" Sonia's voice nearly gives out on her from how weak it is. She swallows heavily, fingers mindlessly tapping against your hips in a song only she knew while her head turns further away. "Nevermind."
"No," you respond, the hand not dripping with paste tenderly nudging her to look at you again. "What did you want to say?"
"It's fine. It won't kill me if I don't say it."
"It'll kill me."
Sonia's brows furrow when she finally looks back into your eyes, quickly averting them when she saw the look on your face.
You let out an amused noise and lean your forehead against hers. The feeling it gave her was both exhilarating and exhausting, but it was pleasant nonetheless. "I think I know exactly what you want."
"You do?"
"Mh," you hum, the smile of a fox gracing your features. "You'll have to ask for it if you want it, though."
The tone she says your name in makes your smirk grow into a stupid grin.
Sonia loves it regardless.
Taking a breath to calm her stammering heart, Sonia's hands move from your hips to instead link on the nape of your neck. "May I please," she forces herself to not sound as though she were begging, "kiss you."
"Open your eyes."
It takes great effort, but she does. Her hands fill slicked with sweat while you gaze into what feels like her soul, cheeks feeling as though they had been lit aflame.
Your clean hand strokes just below her lips for a few moments as you refuse to answer. The unreadable look you gave Sonia made her feel as though she were laid skin-bare beneath you, all her sins and virtues ready to be judged by you.
When you finally give her permission with a near inaudible "you may," Sonia feels her mind unravel at the seams in ecstasy.
She can feel you smile into the kiss when she pulls your head impossibly closer, lips pressed firmly against each other, and Sonia can't help but think that you're insufferable once more; but she knows she'd rather be with you her whole life than waste it on a meaningless date.

Chapter 4: You're so soft
I watched in awe at the petals that floated on the water's surface. Red and purple flowers danced in unison, sent in parting directions as Urbosa added strange crystals that dissolved into the water. She motioned me over as a knock rang out from the main entrance to her chambers. Her expression seemed somewhat annoyed but she just shot me a smile before leaving to answer the door.
 Dropping to my knees, I dip a finger into the water, playing with the soft petals that seemed to gravitate towards me. On closer inspection, I actually think I did recognise these flowers. Although I had never seen them in person, I knew someone had told me about them. Her voice rang in my ears like a distant melody that I hadn't thought about for centuries.
"And what is this one called?" The sweet voice asked, gesturing to a book she laid in her lap.
"That is warm Saffina! It grows near the Gerudo desert." I answer, smiling as she runs a hand through my hair and tucks some loose strands behind my ear.
"That's right dear. You're getting better at remembering all this new information, perhaps I could teach you some magic one day darling."
"You would do that for me? Thank you, my queen, what an honour!" I kick my feet excitedly, my ears twitching as I rocked in excitement.
The woman just raised a hand to her mouth to cover it while laughing. The delicate markings that ran over her tan skin never became boring to look at. I wonder what they all meant. She moved her book from her lap and pulled me closer until my head laid in it. Her gentle touch ran over my face and back into my hair as she smiled down at me.
"Dear I've already told you not to call me that, I prefer you just calling me by my name." Her sweet voice whispered, changing to a hum at the end like a lullaby
"Of course," I yawn. "Sorry, I keep forgetting So-"
"Y/N are you alright? You seem vacant."
My eyes darted around until I turned and saw Urbosa knelt beside me. Her hand rested on my hip as she gave me a concerned look. Feeling guilty, I turned and shook my head profusely. She sighed in what I can only hope was relief.
"Thank goodness, you were worrying me for a minute there. One of the knights just dropped off some clothes that should fit you, if you wish to bathe now we can."
My eyes lit up at the idea of being able to be in warm water for once and I jumped up. Eagerly, I slid my skirt of leaves down, nearly ripping apart the scrappy shirt that I had been given by Hestu. The clothes lay abandoned on the floor as I stretched. Urbosa's eyes widened as they met my body, her honey skin going a soft pink. My hands moved to cover my body, unsure why she was acting like that.
"Are you alright? Is there something wrong?" I ask, stepping over to make sure she wouldn't collapse.
"Yes dear I'm fine, I just hadn't expected you to undress so quickly. Why don't you step into the water while I prepare the soaps?"
I beamed at her suggestion and nodded eagerly. Swiftly, I turn on my heels and walk towards the deep tub. With an arm under my chest to stop the bouncing from my jumpy steps. Warm water in the sunken tub wrapped around my body as I lowered myself in, only reaching my hips. I felt almost weightless as I danced around the tub, enjoying the comfort of the heated water. A warm chuckle echoed through the bathroom as Urbosa watched me play. Excitedly, I turned to her, some flower petals stuck over my shoulders and chest from where I had been tossing them around.
"Oh, I can't believe you all have stuff like this! It's so nice!" I grin at her.
She chuckles at my reaction and strides towards the tub.
"You sweet little angel, relax for a moment. Think of all those spirits that you wanted to tell me about."
I had completely forgotten what we had even planned to talk about. My back turned to her as I began thinking. There were many spirits I had met over the years. The Koroks have always been there, but many more visited me over the centuries. One of the fondest had to have been the woman I was thinking of earlier. She was always so sweet to me, running from her husband to read books to me and teach me about the world outside the forest. I knew she was a queen yet I can't remember her name. How bittersweet. The more I think of it, I can barely remember her husband either. He looked nothing like her or even myself. His warmth is all I can remember. When he'd find where his wife had disappeared to, scolding her for not telling him where she was going as he had been worried. The way she'd pout and hug me tighter telling him to just leave so she could go back to relaxing. He'd always roll his eyes and sat beside her. His long nails raked against my scalp, quickly lulling me to sleep as their conversation slowly drowned out.
I jolted as I felt a hand on my shoulder. Panicked, I attempt to turn but the hand holds my chin in place.
"Calm down it's only me, you wanted me to wash your hair, right?"
"Oh, yes. Sorry, I forgot."
Urbosa just chuckled and ran a hand through my hair, making sure it was all wet. The water moved around me as I felt something soft press against my shoulders and neck. I shivered at the contact and I tried to turn to see what it was but Urbosa held me in place, running a hand over my waist.
"Don't worry dear, just relax, let me take care of you." She whispered, her warm breath tickling the back of my ear.
My breath caught in my throat as her hands rested on my sides. Her warm lips pressed against the side of my neck, and one of her hands reached elsewhere out of my sight. I gulped as her hand came back to my shoulder, massaging a cold gel against my skin. Her hand slowly massaged closer to my chest and my breath hitched again.
"I thought you just wanted to wash my hair?" I gulped.
"Oh my apologies dear, I just wished to help you relax dear, a massage. May I?" She cooed, her lips pressing on the shell of my ear,
I gulp but nod as her hands knead my shoulders and slowly move down to my chest. The bubbles gathered over my skin as her fingers pressed into the soft fat on my chest. Her hands massaged further squeezing at the plush mounds. A strange sound bubbled from my throat escaped, like a songbird's call.
"Urbosa! Lady Zelda called for you an hour ago, get your hands off of Y/N and do your job!" A masculine voice barked.
I turned in panic to the doorway where Link stood, covering his eyes with his hand.

GANONDORF X ZONAI READER ❤️
Tumblr media
WOAH! I'm done with this one now. A big smutty fanfiction. Again, Ganon is evil, bad, a villain etc. so buckle up people.
This is a Rauru and Sonia daughter reader. I imagined the oc I drew but there are no descriptions beside long hair one time toward the end so you can put yourself, whatever simp you are. 😊
Minors do not interact please.
Warnings: spoilers if you haven't watched the tears memories in the game, size difference, monster fucking (He is basically one when he transforms), chocking, pain, death (not the reader), little mentions of blood, manhandling, dubious consent, non-con, gloom pleasure (not telling what I mean)
Words: 3755
•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•
The breeze was gentle outside as you sat in the garden with your father and mother, King Rauru and Queen Sonia. Two guards were standing straight, eyes looking cautiously the outskirts for any menace despite peace reigning for as long as you could remember. There were the zonai soldiers your parents built as well. You didn't think anything would happen. There was an accident two weeks ago but you hope nothing similar would ensue.
"I'm happy to hear you are getting better with your power." Your mother expressed her joy gently. "It takes me back to when I was your age. It was a surprise."
"Three people with a tear of time. Now that is interesting." Your father scratched his chin in deep thought. You perked up at this statement. He was talking about Zelda.
"I'll have to find her after tea. I wonder what she wanted to talk about with me."
Sonia put a hand on his. "Don't fret over this, dear." She grabbed her cup, sipping silently. The curved of her lips was not invisible to you and your father. "Just enjoy the present for now, you need it before they come for the matters we talked about."
"Who?" You looked at them curiously. You had no clue. "Don't we already have treaties between the people of the regions?"
"Not all, Y/N." That was enough to understand your father's words. He seemed uncertain as well, so why doing this?
"But—" Your eyes gazed at your still full cup of tea. It was a bad approach in your opinion. "Did you asked them?" He shook his head, making your brows furrowed even more.
"He responded to our demands and I accepted. I'll see to it for an agreement this evening."
"I don't think this is a good idea, father." Your voice was but a murmur. "Didn't they send mordugas two weeks ago to attack? If we hadn't being there—" You stopped yourself from finishing your sentence, closing your eyes a moment. The thought of death scared you and there is a high chance that it would've been a sucess for the Gerudos.
"You are thinking too much my dear." Your mother spoke sweetly with tender eyes. "Why don't we take one step at a time? Let enjoy this morning together for now."
"Sonia's right." Your father continued. "We are well protected and if something doesn't feel right, we'll make more preparations, alright Y/N?"
You nodded weakly. Your troat was dry and no tea could quench your thirst.
°•°•°•°
You now sat in the throne room, next to your mother. Your father was in the center and Zelda next to him on his right, standing. Since the moment the Gerudos arrived, you couldn't bring yourself to look at him. This man was a dark mystery but he was making you uncomfortable. Like a prey despite your mother's power coursing through your veins. You were still thinking your father was playing with fire.
"On behalf of the gerudo, for taking so long to accept your repeated invitations, it is our desire to be accepted into the protective embrace of your kingdom. To serve it faithfully." He kneel after the women who accompagnied him, one hand resting on his knee.
"A welcome appeal, Ganondorf. I will accept your vow of featly to the kingdom of Hyrule."
Your eyes widened toward your parent. Was he serious? "Father—" You whispered, bewildered but he exchanged a look that was enough to silence you and sat farter in your throne with a still rigid back.
"I understand that a single male is born to the Gerudo every one hundred years. Receiving such an appeal from you, a hero to his people and a king by birth," Rauru closed his eyes with a faint smile. "Well, it is truly reassuring."
"It is my honour." Ganondorf spoke slowly. With his head hidden in the darkness, you couldn't see his expression. "When your Zonai ancestors first descended upon these lands long, long ago, they must have seemed to be gods. And now you rule as king and have taken a Hyrulean woman as you wife." Your father sound cautious at Ganondorf words, frowning. "As well as birth a daughter of both race." Your eyes met his amber, almost red ones, petrified under the gaze while a phantom grin dressed his lips. You felt a gentle hand touched yours and looked to your mother. Her eyes were forward but the warm of her touch put your mind at ease a little. "Your Majesty has certainly risen above your admirable lineage. Most impressive."
"It is unfortunate that the noble Zonai no longer grace this world with their presence." The sunset passed through the windows of the castle and the light colored the Gerudo in flaming red. You supressed a gasp at the view as his gaze turned a sharp moment to you before turning to the king. "All except you and your sister, that is."
Rauru joins turned paler as he grasped the cold arms of his seat. He had a calm exterior nonetheless. "Even if something were to happen to me, both my kingdom and the peace it brings will endure for generations to come." An ominous silence followed before your father voice was heard again. "Your actions today are appreciated, Ganondorf. I look forward to your futur endeavors. You may leave."
"You Majesty." The man bowed before getting up in one swift motion, taking his sword with him. You saw the eyes of the devil one last time then he was gone, Gerudo women following behind him.
You heartbeat was fast against your chest as your eyes were fixed on the double doors at the end of the room. You didn't hear what Zelda had said, losing yourself in your own mind for a minute. Your father's words were short. "I am well aware of his evil nature. For that reason, and others, I want him close. It will be easier to keep an eye on him."
"I still think this is not a good decision, father." Rauru's eyes turned to you with slight surprise. "Something bad is going to happen. I sense it and it's unbearable." You clenched the tear that was neatly placed where your heart was. "I doubt Ganondorf is duped enough to stay tranquilly without attacking. He did it once, who said he won't do it a second time?"
Sonia, your mother, was stroking your back slowly, drawing circles to calm you while he got up and advanced toward you. "Y/N, I am touched you worry so much about us and the people here but this is nothing to worry about.  Everything will be alright." He smiled, almost hugging your form. You closed your eyes.
"If anything happens, we will be prepared." Your mother finished, looking at him, then at Zelda. You followed her gaze, watching the girl sending you her own uncertained smile.
°•°•°•°
A week went by and Zelda talked to you about her own concerns regarding the Gerudo king. His name was familiar to her, but she couldn't put her finger on it. You both agreed that something was wrong at least. It made you feel less paranoiac that you weren't thinking alone.
Outside of your worries, you practiced more of your power with your mother and were getting better at it. You were able to stop time on bigger objects and for a longer period of time. She was proud of you, and your father was as well.
A month passed before Zelda had send you a letter to meet her one night with chances to talk deeper in the matters that you were both preoccupied with. When you reached the exterior halls however, that's when you felt that this meeting wasn't normal. She had being quiet for the whole walk, even with the both of you alone. You looked at the scenery from the ruins before you gazed behind your shoulder and turned to her. "We are alone now. What did you want to talk about with me, Zelda?" A distorted smile showed on her lips, taking you aback. "Zelda?"
"It's was so easy. You are such a naive girl." You were too much in shock to be embarrassed at her statement. Her head leaned on the side, almost too much to be comfortable. A sharp object slide from her hand suddenly and you exclaimed in fright when it flew toward you. What you discerned was a knife stopped milimeters from your face.
You hadn't use your power—
"Oh my, I am surprise to hear you say such a thing." Sonia appeared around the corner.
"Mother!"
Her eyes weren't cold but the warmth was gone, slowly advancing toward Zelda, not taking her gaze off the girl. "I was wondering if I was seeing two at the same time, being in one place and another far away in such a short moment is pretty strange, don't you think? You did play your game pretty well." Your mother's power was still on then grabbed the weapon and tossed it on the ground gracefully. "But if you're not her, that means you are a puppet of Ganondorf."
You watched with wide eyes, stunned. "A puppet?" Did that mean that the conversations you had weren't with her? Were any?
The body decomposed as the marionette laughed mischievously. Red and purple formed on it until there wasn't anyone there anymore but a weird sent in the air.
You watched wary for anything abnormal and when you saw nothing, you let your guard down. You sighed, turning around to Sonia, wide eyes at the person standing behind her. You hadn't time to call for her as your mother was stabbed in the back, gasping in pain and surprise. The killer snatched the tear on your parent's necklace and she crumbled to the floor, blood on her white dress. Tears welled up in the corner of your eyes.
"Mother!" You rushed to her, holding her body for dear life. "Please don't be dead. I'm begging you. Don't die, please!" Your powers weren't strong enough to turn back time and you hated yourself for it. But you despised even more the man in front of your kneeling form.
Grin wide, his chest vibrated as he roared maniacally. Ganondorf clutched the tear in a vice grip as it pulsed with power. "Finally it is mine." The tear materialized on his forehead with gold and the ground started shaking under your form. You held your mother tighter as dark mist surrounded the man, the scream of victory the only hint he was still there. You hid your view from it, your head in the crook of your parent's neck as you waited to wake up from this horrible nightmare. It wasn't real. It could've not been.
You were abruptly gripped by your dress, feet dangling off the stone ground, your hands instinctively reaching to get out of his hold.
"You can struggle all you want, princess." A dark voice grunted, sounding amused. "Nobody is here to save you now, not even your developing power of time."
Eyes wide, they were met with a changed man. His title of Demon King was fitting more now than ever with his monstrous appearance. His scleras became black, contrasting with the same eyes colour as before. The hair grew longer but the places where two horns had emerged. His robes were created of the same stuff that came out when he stole the tear, a similar substance that Zelda, whoever it was the real one or not, talked to you about from her own era.
He was demonic.
"Your foolish king took for granted the godlike power you had all in your hands, not using it to its full potential." His eyes slitted and your heartbeat quickened. While you felt overpowered by his stare alone, his grip on you was making things more difficult. You tried to kick him in vain, getting but a disorted chuckle in response. "Your mother is merely the first victim of his arrogance and she won't be the last, believe me."
The sounds of the doors resonated and tears cascaded down your cheeks at the new voice. "Y/N!" Your father was here and by the lighter sounds of feet, Zelda was as well. "Let her go, Ganondorf." He growled, barring his teeth in anger as his third eye opened.
"You tried to control me, Rauru." The changed Gerudo spat, but smirked nonetheless. He was in a better position than all of you. His grip was now on your throat, body turned toward them and they heard a gasp for air while you looked desperately at your father and friend. "You will die knowing that you fail!" He exclaimed darkly, then gazed at you struggling. "As for her, I have other plans in mind."
"You bastard!" You chocked without thinking, grasping for anything while extending your hand toward your parent. You were losing consciousness.
"What foul language for a Zonai princess." He grinned wickedly and looked to the king. "That will need punishment, don't you think, Rauru?"
Pain started to course through your body and you whimpered loudly, regretting your decision. It felt like it was burning, but weak now, it was easier to not do anything instead of fighting against the hold Ganondorf had on your neck.
Zelda was mouth opened. "I recognize it now, it's the gloom!"
Rauru looked horrified and helpless while the Gerudo was smug, an evil smirk reaching his ears. "What are you going to do now, king?" He emphasized on the last term. Darkness was creeping around your body until it reached your chest. It stopped growing but it was more painful than earlier.
"Please, stop! It hurts!" Your cries made your father's heart clenched, seeing you trashed around feebly. He should have listened to you. Maybe then you wouldn't be in the grasp of this awful individu. Maybe then, Sonia would've not died.
Ganondorf threw his newfound magic toward them with his free hand, Rauru immediately protecting himself, Zelda and your mother but you saw it wasn't enough. The shield was not stronger than the attack and dread filled your guts when you heard your friend teleported the three of them away, a guilty look in her eyes.
Your lips quivered, wanting to curl in a ball as the situation kicked in. You were alone now with this monster. The man huffed in annoyance, dropping you without a care, resulting in scratches on your hands and knees. You winced and choked on air, your respiration slowly going back to normal after the gloom disappeared. Watching him in a mix of fear and hatred, he send you a curled smirk in response. "This world as it is now is doomed and you will be the first to see it crumbled."
"You won't get away with this." You spat, tears slowly drying.
"Oh, but I will." Ganondorf seized your wrist, turning you around so you were back to his chest and Hyrule in your peripheral vision, a blood red moon high in the sky. Monsters of all size were attacking, destroying everything and killing everyone while people screams filled the air, making you cry again. You averted your eyes but he wasn't having it. He gripped your chin with his whole hand, his breath on your ear, making you watched. "I am the king now. After all these years of been belittled by your people, seen as nothing but lowly thieves—I am in control."
You gritted your teeth. "You're just a monster."
His wicked laugh rang in your ears, making you shuddered with closed eyes while your ears and cheeks redened, feeling his face next to yours. "You're hurting me now, princess." He mocked, claws stroking your face with slow movements. They descended in the line of your breasts, then to your stomach, resting in the middle and you tried to trash away like you were just touched by fire. Fortunately the gloom was nowhere on your body but his hand had replaced the burning feeling. You looked at him in terror behind your shoulder when your body was bend on the rock debris. "Now, let's see how powerful this new body is."
"Ganondorf—" Your dress was pulled over your waist, dark clawed hands running over your bottom. "Stop this!" His grin only widened at your small voice.
"Pleading for mercy, princess?" He dryly humped against you, grunting like an animal as your cheeks flushed in embarrassement. His chest was touching you, chuckles making it vibrated against your back. "So pathetic. How I would enjoy this blast Rauru seeing your crumbled form because of me. I will savor breaking you until you are nothing but a slave." He groaned silently with half lidded glowing eyes, bit your ear and then pushed you farther down. Gloom invaded from the cracks of the ruins, flowing up your legs and arms until it stayed, clutching your members for restraining any movement. You whimpered against the substance. It was like stone was holding you captive now despite feeling liquid.
Ganondorf undress his robes, his length standing tall. "No, please—"
"Don't try to hide it for me, princess. Your body is responding very well to my power." He smacked one of your cheeks, the skin getting pink at the action and a pained moan leaving your lips. He stroke his member with slow motions before alligning himself to your entrance.
"Don't—Ganondorf. I'm begging you!" You felt helpless and vulnerable against his strong mass. He slid all the way in, creating another sound from you.
"Zonai are truly differents, but Zonai and Hylian?" Ganondorf straightened his back, looking down at your petite form with evil intent. You tried to push him out but it only brought pain. "I'm going to mold your body for me only. My own pet." The man cackled, sensing you clenched around him. You were suddenly feeling warmer as he continued to drilled down into your hole. "Would you like that? I do relished the idea of the Zonai princess reduced to be a lowly servant." The gloom dissipated from one leg as Ganondorf grabbed it, dangling from each rough thrusts he was inflicting. Your moans got louder, the urge to hide your eyes from him as the position was switched. That is, if it wasn't for the dark substance. Glowing ambers stared at your quivering form in amusement, watching your expression slowly turning lustful. "Finally." He pumped harder, your leg on his naked shoulder, gasping every now and then. Sensing struggle from your arms, the gloom disappeared from there as well. The man was slightly surprised when you put them behind him, or you tried, with how massive he was.
"Father—Help me." You cried for help, your brain still conscient as you hold the man. You felt disgusting for falling for such act from a monster such as Ganondorf. However, your body, although new to this, was accepting the pleasure with excitement. A tear fell down and he swipped it out before crashing his mouth on yours, canines grazing your lips and biting, drawing blood. Both hands were on each side of your head as the devil continued to fuck your entrance, juices flowing down the inside of your hips. His tongue entered after, devoring you until air became a need.
Ganondorf let go, gazing at your flushed and sweaty form. He turned your face to him. "Such a disgraceful expression you have on you, princess." He smiled evilly while leaving and entering swiftly until the Gerudo was all the way again. "Fits more a slut than royalty."
"Ngh—!"
"What do you say to your king, princess?"
You let out a whine, your head thrown back from the force. "N—No."
That wouldn't do. Ganondorf became rougher, a dark and serious expression on his face as he took your two legs to put on his shoulders and his own body mass crushing your smaller one. His shaft was pulsating inside and he groaned in his actions, loving how you clenched him like that so tightly. Gloom cascaded down your breast, applying a burning touch to your sensitive parts and the Gerudo smile returned at your voice. Your lips parted, tongue almost out while your whole body shook at each powerful trust.
"What a view" he gripped your troat again, lighter than earlier, and pressed you to the wall, face on the rock and his member pumping inside without mercy. He watched the sight of your buttcheeks rolling in pleasure, slapping them again. Your body moved like a doll, whinning at being stretched by his size while juice dressed his lenght. Ganondorf looked at it, chest rising in evil laughter. "Are you already at your limit, my dear?"
Your mouth let out silenced noises and he arched an eyebrow. "What was that?" He thrusted rougher all the way after been out. You spasmed. "Speak to your master." Ganondorf growled.
It was difficult to open your eyes while the power of his thrusts were inhuman. Your back arched uncomfortably, feeling close to his chest as your head now rest on his shoulder blade. The man huffed in annoyance, taking your waist instead as you continue to bounce on his shaft. "No matter. You are nothing now but a slave—my servant and you will bowed before me." A smug smirk dressed on his lips. "We are already close to that, aren't we, slut?"
"Ganondorf—Ngh—Yes!"
He had break you. Smiling triumphaly, the Gerudo ran a hand through your long hair, claws thugging in a vice grip. "Yes, let me hear you. Scream who you belong to!"
"I belong to you!" You moaned but he entered slower and harder into your entrance.
His breath tickled your ear while you stared lost at a red Hyrule. The man brought you closer to him in a standing position, his member going deeper. His free hand roamed your body hungrily, the other's fingers inside your mouth while the gloom was helping, pulsing on your chest and neck. Ganondorf grunted suddenly. "Now take it all."
You screamed when his essense flew inside, your stomach getting a little bigger at the amount. "So—much!" Your eyes rolled back before you fell limp. If it wasn't for him holding you, you would have met the ground. More gushed at your feet.
"What a waste." Ganondorf snarled at the liquid, fingers pressing at your entrance to block the rest. "But I use more than once what belongs to me. Say goodbye to your dear father, princess, because I am not done with you."
"Far from it actually."

Tumblr media
It had many names, the Legend of the Dragon's Daughter. Many of which titled it as either a legend or a story. A myth. Some warned of great dangers surrounding the aura of the spirit the legend told about. Other's told of the pure divinity that this being held in the palm of their hand. The grace and adroitness that lined their very pores was spoken of so fondly by the older generations who had heard the story from their own grandparents, who had heard it from theirs and so on and so forth. The older Zora especially spoke of her in such a tone he found himself lending a little belief to the legend.
The story told of a daughter, blessed to the first King and Queen of Hyrule by the Three Goddesses themselves. A princess bestowed with the gift of beauty and grace, a beacon to the budding kingdom. There were even carvings under Hyrule Castle, hidden by toppled boulders, that portrayed her image.
And he would admit. She looked like a being having been blessed by the heavens above.
The carvings had showed an ugly side to an already bitter story. How this princess, this goddess sculpted muse, was struck down by the Demon King as a means to get back at both King Rauru and Queen Sonia. The carvings from there had been too worn down to get a clear reading, but it was enough to pique his interest. Besides, what else did he have to do? Save a princess who had no issues with leaving him to die? Deal with monsters that the people of Hyrule already knew damn well how to deal with and were no longer scared of them? Traverse the depths and all the lightroots he had already found?
At least this way, he may get some new power out of it. If nothing else, at least he had a good story for Traysi.
His first area to investigate was the sky island he woke up on. He could still spot Rauru's spirit in certain areas, understanding the solemn look he seemed to wear much more than he previously did.
It was also much easier to travel around the island this time around, which was a bonus.
When prodded for answers, something complicated flashed over the spirit's face before it settled into a Grim acceptance. One Link had worn too often right after remembering the untimely demise of the Champions.
"She was gravely injured. My precious sunshine. I almost lost her that day." He had spoken in a grave echo, eyes glazed and far off, as if seeing his daughter right in front of him. "My sister, Mineru, had offered her services in an effort to preserve her soul. I am unsure if it had worked. I haven't had the heart to look. I would be such a disappointment to her fiery heart and iron strong will to shine in the brightest ways possible. She was kept in the Temple of Time if you are at all curious."
He was. He was curious. He wanted to see this being for himself. If Rauru spoke so highly of you, it had to be worth it. And it was either this or go save Zelda, and he figured she was fine doing what she currently was for a little while longer.
At least until he looked further into this.
Walking into the temple, he hummed to himself as he looked around, spotting the blue glow of Rauru near a wall closer to the exit. He nodded solemnly when Link approached. The hand that matched his own raised to the wall, pulling forth one of those green symbols that chimed at his hand. The bricks shuffled and moved while Rauru faded out, leaving an unactive construct in front of him. It rattled to life, chirping up at him before recognizing that he was friend and not foe. The Construct explained that he was designed to protect the chasm the Princess was being kept in, but since Rauru had deemed him worthy, he would escort the blond to the place. It wasn't a long journey, not at all, just down a spiraling staircase with stone walls curtained by moss.
But the moment he laid eyes on you, he understood why you were hidden.
You face was lax in such a peaceful expression as your body remained weightless, suspended in a bubble of seafoam green and ocean blue. Your hair was splaying up behind you as if you were underwater with your hands clasped around a hilt of a sword. Even the sword itself was divinity in a blade, glowing a bright white from it's place in front of you. You were clad in white robes trimmed in cold with a stone necklace laced around your delicate neck, those same white earrings hanging from your ears.
You were...ethereal. From the curve of your jawbone to the plump flesh of your cheeks, he was enthralled by your very essence. The curve of your shoulders and the toned flow of your arms, even the dip in your collarbone-- all of it had his eyes trailing every bend and curve of your body.
What he wouldn't do to get a piece of you.
He ached to just touch your sun-kissed skin, to feel it under his palms as he held you. To feel the run of your hips, fingers gripping at the dips that decorated them. To paint them a splattering of blues and purples in a lasting reminder of who he was and what he had done to you. To bite and nibble at the flesh just to hear the kind of cries you would make.
Goddess, he couldn't imagine what your voice sounded like, but he wanted to. He wanted to hear what it sounded like while you breathlessly gasped out. To hear what it sounded like when you cried out his name in pure ecstasy as you withered underneath of him. To hear you give yourself to him entirely.
He wanted to feel your weight on top of him, to experience your hands in his hair (Or cupping his cheeks if he chose to allow himself that vulnerability), to live in your orbit, worshipping you as his one true Goddess.
His eyes landed on the same green symbol that unlocked everything pertaining to the Zonai. He raised his hand in response. It lit up a bright green before fading. The bubble shined brightly before growing, eventually popping and exposing you to the elements. Which why? You were so vulnerable like that? Why not just give you to him directly? You were at risk like this. Couldn't they SEE THAT-
Whatever invisible force keeping you suspended gently laid you on your feet, which were bare, only adorned with an anklet matching your necklace. The tip of the sword in your hand clinked against the stone floor. The echo of it made your eyes, your gorgeous, gorgeous eyes, snap open. If he thought seeing you before was captivating, this was downright...enchanting. The light of your irises positively glowed as your silently gasped, hands tightening around the hilt of the weapon. He rushed to your side as he saw your balance falter, cradling you in his arms as one of your hands came to gently hold your own temple. Even just the sound of your groan made him swallow hard, fighting the blood threatening to rush to his (dick-) cheeks.
You blinked before realizing that he was not someone you knew, pushing him away with much more force than he would expect from someone fresh out of a comatose state. The only thing stopping him from wrapping his arms around you once more was the tip of the very blade now prodding at his neck. He swallowed.
"Who are you?" You demanded, hold on the weapon shaking just a tad.
(Which was so adorable. How someone like you, all soft skin and doe eyes, expected to make someone like him, rugged scars and gnarled morals, bend to you was beyond him.)
(But he'd love to see you try anyway.)
"Where are my people?! Or Queen Sonia and King Rauru?!" Oh, you were so cute.
He wanted to decimate that innocence you carried.
With a careful hand, he gently pushed the blade aside with the back of a hand, letting a smug smirk settle on his lips. Your cheeks immediately reddened as your attention remained on him. Just as he liked it, he decided then and there. He liked having your attention (and only yours) on him. But having you acting so hostile towards him just wouldn't stand. But you didn't know any better, not yet anyway, so he'd let it slide.
He gently explained that you had been fatally wounded protecting your people, something that your parents were endlessly proud of you for-- even in death. While it was a direct shot in his, admittedly lacking, heart to be the one to tell you of the passed time and the death of your parents (The sacrifice of your father and the betrayal that lead to your mother's death), he was evidently the best and only option. He understood, on an intimate level, what it was like to loose so much time, healing yourself, while the rest of the world carried on, carrying the loss of friends and family with it. He knew what it was like. It had to be why you two were so perfect for each other.
He held you as your cried, soothing down your hair as your tears (Which should never have been shed) soaked his shoulder. While he was never interested in defeating the Demon King for Zelda's sake, he may have just found another motive.
One much more worthy of his time and attention.
<><><><>
When he first saw you, he understood why you were hidden, on a surface level.
He understood why much more on a deeper, more intimate one now.
You were so bubbly. Even when faced with the devastation of your home, you remained optimistic, greeting the constructs that roamed around happily. Bestowing your cherished kisses (Those should belong to him.) upon their cold exterior while wiping them free of dirt. Even the wildlife that had squawked and charged at him crooned and chirped under your touch, hankering for the scratches you gifted them under the chin. You saw beauty in the overrun weeds and fauna, taking great interest in the new species that had popped up.
When he took to the mainland, via shrine travel because he would be damned before you got down the same way he originally did, it seemed like you couldn't see everything fast enough. You loved exploring the caves, despite the Like-Likes baring their disgusting teeth and innards (Which he quickly disposed of), ached to get as close as possible to the chasms (Which wasn't very as he refused to risk you falling in), yearned to traverse the mountain peaks and snow dunes of the mainland (Which killed him on the inside since didn't you know how dangerous those were?!).
You were quite the adventurer, full of inexperienced naivety and unpoised curiosity. The exact opposite of the princess he knew. He forgot you were royalty have the time with your mannerisms, nothing like Zelda. Which was so refreshing.
If only you weren't so fragile. He would never admit it (Too your face at least) that he's thought of just tying you down and keeping you in his (He saw it as your shared home these days) home. It was on the far outskirts of Tarrey town (Far enough no one would hear your cries for help should it come to that) with a pasture out front so you could keep a horse nearby as a friend (Should you behave).
(It wouldn't be a young, steady horse. No, most likely an older horse who had long since retired from any sort of running or getaway attempts.)
He just needed a way to keep you stationary.
And it hit him like a Hinox. You two were walking around Hateno (It was deemed safe and far enough from Tarry Town that it was still new to you), when you stopped, let out a high enough squeal his ears pinned to his head as his head snapped towards you. You were always in his peripheral, but now you were right in front of him with his hands quickly holding your arms, checking you over for injury. There were none, but you were beaming like someone had handed you a million rupees (He would. He could. He'd do it just for you), instead redirecting his attention with a call of 'Link, look!'. He had followed your line of sight just as you began squeezing his own hands, expecting you to be aweing over a cow or goat or, Goddess forbid, a dog again (You very nearly took one of stable dogs home last time). But you weren't.
And that's when it hit him.
You were loosing any semblance of a mind you had over a small infant, strapped to their mother's back by a wrap of some sort. The babe smiled at your reaction, letting out a small cascade of giggles that had you squealing in pure joy.
That was it.
The answer was right there! How could he have been so blind?! It was right there. If he gave you a baby, his baby no less, you would have no choice but to remain dormant. You would have to stay right where he put you to not only protect yourself, but to your protect your child. He had no doubt you would do it. You were too kind, too naive, for any other option. Once you figured out you were carrying his child, you'd fall for thing, claiming it as your own before it was any bigger than an apple seed.
And from then on it would just be a matter of formalities. You'd be his for the rest of your lives.
Exactly what he wanted.
Exactly what had led up to this moment. You were nothing but a babbling, crying mess underneath of him, pulling at the roots of his hair as he folded your legs against your chest. You were pleading with him, some mindless demand that he wasn't even sure you knew what you were asking, but it was background noise. He was too focused on watching the way he disappearing into your cunt, a milky sheen coating the shaft of his cock as heavy dollops of past loads dripped past your gaping opening. It was mesmerizing the way your body reacted to him, sucking him in and fighting him every time he pulled out. Even on an unconscious level, you ached for him. Not nearly as much as he breathed for you, but that would come with time. He knew it would. He'd ensure it.
The cry of his name on your lips had the coil in his gut steadily tightening as his pace picked up, thoroughly hammering your insides. He needed to make sure he was prodded right against your cervix for this to work. He needed to get this right. He needed to father any and all of your children. Starting here and now.
Whether you knew about it or not.
You had babbled something about him pulling out too long ago, but he had...distracted you with long laps at your clit and soft nipples along your thighs. He didn't even think of truly ruining you until you were clenching your thighs around his head and drenching his bottom jaw, too gone to properly process anything going on around you.
And he'd keep it that way.
His thumb, rough and calloused, rubbed harsh little circles into your clit, feeling it pulse in time with his ministrations. You whimpered beneath him, chest arching up to push against his own as you cried out, squeezing around him. You were positively milking him for every drop he had to offer.
There was no way you didn't want his children. Not with the way you were clenching around him as he jutted as far as he could go, filling your womb once more. You laid boneless beneath him, hands dropping to hang around his neck as he took a moment to breath. Your cunt spasmed once more and his cock twitched inside of you.
"You're not done yet, are you, Princess?" He purred into your ear, making it flicker as he rolled his hips against yours, even if overstimulation rocked his entire system in a flash of shot nerves.
None of that mattered to him. He had a mission. A mission he would do anything to accomplish.
Anything to keep you as his.
Yes, the reader was holding the Light Sword. Yes, I know that's not how you get it. I just thought it would be a cool tidbit bc YES, Sage seems like the type to get turned on by a hot princess threatening with a sword.

You’d been leading the horses down a downtrodden path for roughly an hour and a half, judging by the sun’s position, you breached a hill and finally saw Rauru, Sonia and Zelda, still a bit ahead of you, but you could catch up if you directed the horses into a gallop.
You had not tried a gallop yet.
The mare under you tossed her head, almost hitting you in the face, you could barely contain her as-is, trying to gallop would likely end up with you on your ass and the horse off in the Hebra region.
You were impatient, not having seen Zelda for a few hours as you'd gone off to capture the horses for her and the others to hopefully cut down on the travel time to Hyrule castle. But risking losing the horses you'd worked so hard to acquire wasn't worth the spared time.
You kept trotting until you were right behind the small group, then pulled back on the reigns ttho get the three horses to slow down into a walk.
The others didn’t even pause or look back, Sonia gently steering Zelda to the right of the path to let you pass, you did pass them, walking a few meters so they wouldn’t get hit by a stray hoof and pulled on the reigns, turning and stopping in the middle of the path, your horse’s hooves scraped impatiently against the sand, when you turned to the others, Rauru scowled, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Excuse me-”
“Y/n!” Zelda charged past the llama man, whose face lit up in recognition as he actually looked at you, Zelda rushed over to you, and you got off your horse and wrapped her in a hug.
“What have you been up to!?!” She held you by the shoulders, pushing away from you a bit to look at the three horses, Zelda’s horse stepped forward, nosing the blonde, and you laughed. The flaxen caramel horse you'd picked out for her nickered softly.
“I thought we could cut down travel time.” You smirked, Zelda looked entranced by the mare, you knew how quickly Zelda could get attached to an animal (her father never allowed pets)  and gently shoved her toward the horse. It huffed loudly in her face, causing strands of hair to bounce around and into her eyes. Zelda let the steed approach her hand, gently petting its snout as she turned to you.
“That was so smart of you!” You preened a bit under the praise, gently untying Zelda’s new horse from your mare and handing the reins to her, she smiled, taking the reins before continuing to spoil the mare with pets and scraps of food she dug through her pockets for.
Ignoring Rauru, you set the gelding’s reins into Sonia’s hands, she looked up at the steed, it was very large, you understood her apprehension, but you smiled kindly to her.
“Don’t worry, he’s very polite.” You pat the beast on the snout, out of the corner of your eye, you saw Zelda’s new horse shove her lightly with it’s snout, Zelda laughed, nudging it back, seems they were making good friends.
Sonia approached the gelding curiously, petting his snout, you smiled a bit, but left quickly as soon as Rauru approached.
You helped Zelda into the saddle, got up on your own mare (she would need a name) and waited for Sonia and Rauru to do the same, they did choose share the horse in the end, Sonia in front with Rauru sitting behind her. She clicked her tongue and the steed moved, you kicked your horse’s side and she set off as well, Zelda beside you.
-
“Your guard is.. Very stubborn.” Sonia noted as the horse the young woman rode upon tried to bite her once again, the steed that Sonia and Rauru rode calmed down quickly, and Zelda’s only hesitated a few times, when they had to cross a bridge and once when they had to go through a puddle, but the mare the knight rode was wild in a way that was concerning, every now and then, it’d attempt to gallop or trot when that wasn’t the set pace, and the knight had to contain the horse with their arms and legs alone, often veering off the path as the wild horse bucked and paced backward.
Despite having passed several more herds, even a town and a stable, she did not attempt to change horses, Zelda nodded, smiling softly. Like it was expected.
“Ah, well, yes. But I believe that they chose right, a horse must be strong-willed for a soldier to ride it, if they manage to tame it, it will trust them with its life, and they will be able to do the same for it.” She smiled lightly, and Rauru hummed, Sonia knew he was lightly annoyed with the two’s insistence that danger was around every corner, he took it personally, like they didn’t believe that he, as a king, could keep his people safe.
Later, Sonia and him could talk about it, she’d be able to soothe his worries and remind him these two probably never knew anything else than danger, it wasn’t a reflection on him. They were just.. Surviving, in the only way they knew how.
She did not stop him from speaking though, his low voice caused the knight to tense from where she rode ahead, still in earshot.
They hadn’t said anything in... A while, Sonia wondered if the knight was always this quiet, she noted that the rider was paying attention, every conversation, even as their eyes remained pinned on the horizon, scanning the surrounding forests and paths like something may jump out at any moment.
“Truthfully, Miss Zelda, there are no threats in Hyrule, you and your companion do not have to fear, or prepare for anything.” The young girl shook her head, a forced smile on her lips.
“Even I find that hard to believe, King Rauru, no offense, but where we come from… It hasn’t been safe in a long, long time. It is unthinkable to travel alone, and a death sentence to let your guard down.” The king sighed, but nodded, seemingly accepting the answer, although a bit reluctantly.
“I hope you will come to believe me with time.” Is all he offered.
-
The ride was quite pleasant, all-in-all, it had been delightful and calm as you led the way over the downtrodden path, eyes set on the horizon. A beautiful forest sprawled to the right, the trees thinning out until it became an open valley that bordered a cliff, it wasn't extremely high, just leading down into another forest, but you were still wary of it.
Despite that, you were quite relaxed, closing your eyes and swaying with your horse's movement, the path was right at the forest's border, meaning the wind wasn't quite as harsh as out in the valley, and soft birdsong carried through the trees. It was an enjoyable ride with a soft ambience to which you could relax.
Or, you had been.
Your gaze cut right, horse halting with a whinny and a snort.
“Princess.” You murmured, eyes still fixed on the forest, you saw something move, a monster? No, you hadn’t seen any yet, and it wasn't the correct shape for any monster you'd expect to be here. only chuchus hung out in trees, and this wasn’t the best place for bokoblins to camp.. It seemed unlikely at all that it'd be a monster.
(It wasn’t because Sonia and Rauru said there were no monsters, and you found yourself believing them for some inconceivable reason. It wasn’t because of that.)
Then that left one thing.
Wildlife.
“Get back.” You hissed, low and focused, you couldn’t see if she nodded or not, but her horse slowly backed away from yours, putting some distance between whatever threat you saw and herself.
Your eyes remained on the treeline, searching, you thought you’d seen it, and it certainly seemed like it was spring in this world, but maybe you’d been wrong..
Rauru cleared his throat, his impatience clueing you in that a few minutes had already passed, you must be feeling paranoid.
Just as you turn to let your horse walk again, you see it, and it sees you, and you see it’s children as well.
“Fuck!” You yell, and your horse neighs, ears pinning back as the boar charges for you.
It might not be huge, but it certainly isn’t small, and those tusks could do some serious damage to your horse and to you.
It charges for you, and your horse, brand new as she is, spooks.
You weren’t focused on her, and for the first time today, she easily bucked you off, sending you soaring until you fall onto your shoulders with a crack, it takes you a few seconds too many to breathe again, that choked feeling that hadn’t left you since you had arrived here not allowing it. At least your head was tucked, or you’d have something much worse to worry about.
Your horse runs off, and the boar goes for you, you manage to slice it with your sword, narrowly avoiding it hitting you, it runs past you, turns, and with a scream, charges again.
It does bowl you over this time, you manage to give it another nasty cut though, enough to garner a shriek from it and for it to bolt back into the woods, your sword slick with blood.
“Lyra! Are you alright?” The princess’ shout came, and Sonia slipped from the saddle to approach you where you still lay in the dirt. Breaths rattling as you surveyed the scene, you horse running away.
You saw your horse’s form still running, panicked, scrambling, you get up, kicking away from Sonia and dropping your sword to follow the steed, afraid she may get hurt.
When you approached her, she reared and bolted again, you followed her, not wanting her to hurt herself in her panicked state.
Maybe little too late, she ran toward the edge of a cliff steep cliff that led down into some forestry, you bolted after her, calling for her, she’d certainly break something trying to make that jump, you heard Sonia and Zelda call for you.
No! Your mind hissed as the horse approached the cliff’s edge, you heard a shout as you took out your bow, hand reaching behind you to pull the cool finish of one of your arrows out, twirling it easily and expertly placing it in your bow.
A loud shout came, angry or confused, from Rauru, but your arrow already left your bowstring, pursuing your target.
Bullseye.
You heard gasps, but didn't see Sonia pause, Rauru looking horrified from where he sat on his own horse, mouth covered by one of his clawed hands, you didn’t spare them much thought as you ran to your steed.
The horse stood frozen in the plain, mid-run, you ran over, grabbing the frozen reigns and planting yourself in the grass. Out of the corner of your eyes, you saw the others, looking more closely to see the king and Queen looking puzzled and angry, you gave an apologetic smile, realising how it must’ve seemed, you shooting an arrow at the fleeing horse
It didn’t take long for the magic to break, and while the horse’s earlier momentum had been broken, she still tried to pull away, you pulled back, causing her to swing back to face you.
The horse huffed, loud and angry, but not panicked any more, and after a second, she stopped tugging, the reins were taut between you, but you felt safe enough to step forward.
She stepped back, her hoof clattering against the stone under you, she shook out her mane, taking in the scene, her eyes weren’t as blown out now.
You took another step, and she stayed still, enough for you to approach and pet her nose.
Her fur twitched in the way she did when bugs rested on her coat, alright, thank god.
“What was that?” Sonia questioned, approaching you as you returned to the others, you waited until Rauru was in earshot before you answered.
“An ice arrow, it froze her for just a moment, she should be fine, maybe a bit cold.” The horse huffed, following you with her head hung low, maybe exhausted or ashamed.
“Thank goodness, I was so worried when I saw you grab your bow, I’ve seen people using arrows to scare horses and direct them.. But it often goes wrong.” You nodded, gently picking up your blade from the soft grass, wiping it on a mossy tree before seathing it once more and climbing up on the blanket adorning your horse’s back before continuing with a sigh, you led the way, and with the newest adrenaline rush you just felt so, so tired.
-
Eventually, the others stopped you to set up camp for the night, you helped them, cooked with some of the materials you’d scavenged and made sure Princess Zelda was comfortable.
You sat against the side of your horse, who lay flat, maybe just as tired as you after the day, you sat as tall as you could, surveying the surroundings, the moon had risen high above, you felt your eyes close several times, blinks growing longer and longer as your body tried to drag you to sleep.
“Burning the midnight oil?” The soft voice woke you. Your chin lifted, you met the gaze of Sonia.
Your ears twitched, she tilted her head at you when you did so, but didn’t comment, you sighed, glancing up at the sky.
“Someone needs to keep watch.” You replied, voice equally soft, she looked out on the empty plains, the soft sound of crickets and the grazing horses surrounding your little improvised camp.
“I… Know that Hyrule is safe.” She says, you feel a bit more tired, unwilling to have this argument again. “There are no monsters, no beasts who will attack us during the night, at most, a mischievous fox or pack of wolves may try to steal our rations.”
You want to argue her, to tell her it doesn’t matter what she thinks, that you need to keep the princess safe. But you're exhausted enough to allow her to continue.
“But, I do understand you are afraid, and that these are instincts you must’ve learned for a reason." You hummed, thankful that she seemed to be trying to understand, maybe she'd let you guard for the rest of the night undisturbed.
"But you will not be able to defend your princess while you are dead on your feet.” her voice is scolding but warm, you sigh, knowing she was right. Back when it was just you and Link, you’d switch halfway across the night, and at day, you'd pick up eachother's slack.
But you were the only warrior now. Rauru could certainly help slightly during the day, Rauru’s claws must do something for defense, but, you weren’t about to ask apparent royalty. You were alone, and solely responsible princess Zelda's safety.
“How about this; I’ll keep watch for you tonight, I can ask Rauru to take the reigns tomorrow, you are riding alone, so that’s not an option for you, and I think we still have a day or so of travel.” You nod, you’re tired enough not to question it, and you think Sonia is reliable enough, being a relative of Zelda already puts her in your good books.
If it was Rauru who offered, your answer would’ve likely been very different.
You lay down next to Zelda, keeping enough distance to be respectful (it wasn’t necessary, you’d cuddled with her many a night, but you weren’t sure what Sonia would think, or if Zelda would be okay doing that today, so you kept your distance.)
-
You awoke to a tangle of limbs and blonde hair in your face.
It was very much like Zelda to grab you in your sleep, or maybe it had gone the other way around, still, you woke up warm and cozy, to sunshine on your face, a soft cool breeze and the scent of…
Food.
Your eyes opened, seeing both Sonia and Rauru sitting next to the fire and looking at your and Zelda's cuddle pile, you couldn't quite read their expression, too tired to bother anyway.
Stomach rumbling, you propped yourself up on your elbows, then your hands, spitting out some blonde hair and glancing at Sonia and Rauru, who were now bent over the fire and studying the food they made with a critical eye.
“Lyra?” Zelda asked, sitting up herself and stretching out, she yawned, and you yawned in turn, then Rauru did and you averted your eyes as every single one of his very sharp teeth was put on display.
“Hm.” You murmured, helping the princess up and stretching yourself, your bones cracked in complaint, and you bent your limbs as your heavy armor settled and shifted to fit properly again, apparently having gotten messed up in your sleep.
“Come, Rauru made breakfast.” Sonia called to you. You did come, sitting down next to Zelda, the man in question handed you your meal, you kept your eyes on his claws as he served another plate, then handed it to Zelda, making sure he didn't nick skin.
He settled back down, starting to eat his own meal.
Simmered fruit.
You began to eat, it was actually very well-made, you didn’t want to compliment him, but when Zelda told him the food was amazing, he smiled softly and you felt it impolite not to say anything.
“It’s fine.” You stated, succinct, Link would be proud. Rauru chuckled lightly, not hurt by your statement.
Zelda cut you a look, you shrugged, turning back to your meal. You waited patiently until everyone was done eating before cleaning up the camp.
Sonia looked tired, you were glad she had taken her watch seriously, but felt shame that you’d let the queen take watch for a soldier, your sleep-addled mind hadn’t noted how selfish that had been yesterday, but now you felt it full-force, you didn’t dare look her in the eye.
You had forgotten that your responsibility did not lie only with Zelda, but with the two royals as well. If they got hurt, you'd be in major trouble with the kingdom.
One knight for three royals.
How was that any fair?
-
Rauru did navigate the roads for Sonia, who leaned back against his chest and gazed at the passing scenery.
You shot them a strange look, puzzled, you didn’t understand their relationship, he said he was king but… There hadn’t been a non-hylian king in like, ever.
Actually, there was a bylaw explicitly against it.
He caught your eye, brow raising, and you snapped your head to look forward again, ignoring him. You clicked your tongue and your horse settled into a trot instead, Rauru and Zelda changing pace to keep up.
-
The castle crested over the hills, you sighed, relieved, letting Zelda overtake you so you were next to her, you weren’t there yet, it may be 2 hours until you’d arrive, Sonia was fast asleep against Rauru, your brow knitted together in guilt, still, you led the way in an even trot, making sure to keep an eye out for possible danger.
-
The castle was different than what you recognized. You slowed your mare, she neighed, a bit upset, but listened either way, you let both Zelda and the royals overtake you, following them at a respectable distance, you weren’t their equal, best not act like it.
Rauru glanced at you, confused, but didn’t stop or beckon you over, so you remained where you were, following in the royals’ wake and looking at the soldiers (half naked, with wooden weapons) curiously, they, in turn, looked at you like you’d hung the moon and the stars, with your sleek armor and durable weapons, you felt like something exotic to be gawked at.
Great.
You scowled, straightening your features with a twitch of your ears, the king and queen went ahead through the gates, then Zelda, and you managed to get in before the doors gates closed and locked you out.
Both Rauru and Sonia dismount, you get off your own horse quickly to help Zelda off of her own steed, watching as the horses are quickly led away by some stablehands.
You follow a step behind Zelda as she’s quickly guided away by Sonia and Rauru, you hadn’t paid much attention to their plans aside from the necessary details, Zelda was a distant relative who came to visit, you were her personal guard.
You followed, ignoring the pinning gazes of servants and guards alike, at least you weren’t the only one, Zelda looked just as uncomfortable as you.
Just the two of us in this strange but familiar world.

Description: You worked closely with Chief Ganondorf, you knew his plans and you knew you’d have to be careful in how you revealed to the King and Queen what would happen. It couldn’t be sudden, it would have to be gradual, one hint at a time.
Tags: 1.7k words, gerudo!reader, slight language barrier (written text), yearning, implied Ganondorf x Reader, inspired by an @alilbitlesbian post
Your fingernails drummed against the table as you looked over the paper in front of you. You forced yourself to focus on it. You had to focus on it.
It was all written in Hyrulian. You knew most. You knew enough to be considered fluent but you were no expert. You needed to give the words your full attention to piece together the puzzle that was context and figure out the meaning of words you didn’t understand.
You couldn’t be distracted. You had to focus.
They were right in front of you though. How could you be expected to do anything when they were right in front of you.
King Rauru and Queen Sonia of Hyrule, you’d heard their names before but only in tones filled with annoyance and occasional malice. What you’d been told of them did not prepare you to fit in front of them.
Rauru was tall with a thin coat of fur all over his body, barely an inch thick— if that. It was all a shade of gray save for his ears which were as white as his hair with longer, fluffier fur. You’d caught yourself wondering several times if his many earrings would jangle if you scratched those ears and you got your answer when he turned his head and a soft tinging was heard as they clicked together.
Sonia was a Hylian woman with similarly long hair to her husband though hers was blonde instead of white. Her eyes were a shade of vibrant green that was more colorful than the grass and flora you saw on the trek here. Those eyes were filled with understanding that you were left questioning, not sure what she saw when she looked at you that made her soften so much.
“Are you alright?” Rauru asked with your title at the end of his sentence.
“I’m well,” you told him. You let your fingers drum against the table a few moments more as you continued to stare at the words that muddled together on the page before you finally relented. “Though, if I’m completely honest, I do believe I’m having some. . . difficulty understanding. That is to say, I don’t know all of the words written.”
Sonia’s eyebrows rose and then fell as a soft smile came to her lips. She stood and walked over to you. Her hand went to rest between your shoulder blades as she bent a bit to get a better look at the paper.
You willed yourself to not think of how warm her hand was or how you could feel the very tips of her fingers against your skin.
“Let us take a look together, shall we?” she said.
With her help you realized that you did know most of these words and the ones you hadn’t were outlandishly lavish. There was simply the matter of spelling, different dialects and all. When you’d gone over the entirety of the paperwork, her hand still didn’t leave your back,
You cleared your throat and reached for a writing utensil. “I do believe that these are reasonable expectations,” you said. “The Gerudo will happily accept your request, King Rauru.”
“I’m pleased to hear,” he said as you signed the papers.
You slid the papers back to Rauru who took them so carefully. His fingers curled around the documents, only the pads of them touching it. He seemed almost wary of his nails, like they would pierce through the pages if he held them too harshly. Perhaps it’d happened before.
With a heavy feeling in your chest, you moved to stand. Sonia’s hand and warmth retreated from you as you did.
“If that is all, I should be off,” you said. “Sav'orq and sav'orr.”
“Are you sure you wish to go?” Sonia asked. “You’re welcome to stay. It’s getting late.”
She was right, of course. The sun had gone down and the moon was beginning to rise by the time you’d finished. However, you had to leave. You’d rather not deal with him thinking something had happened.
“It’s a multi day journey,” you reminded her. “One night won’t make a difference.”
“Then one hour shouldn’t either,” Rauru said. “We have the extra room. Please, if not for yourself than to ease our minds. There are many creatures of the night which could harm you. It’d be safer to turn in early and rise the same than to traverse far enough away from the towns and stables so if something happens, no one will know.”
You tried to focus on your goal. You knew that you really should leave now, get three to four hours of travel in tonight to make up for the lost time but they made a compelling argument.
You looked at them both. They should know they already won this bout of conversation. As soon as they’d asked the question, you knew the answer.
“If it’s not trouble,” you said.
“None at all,” Sonia said. “I’ll work on the arrangements.”
She left the room. Now it was just you and Rauru, alone in such a large room. There weren’t even guards. How trusting, how foolish.
“You should tighten your security,” you told him.
His brows raised. “Any particular reason?” he asked.
Oh, so many. Too many.
There was a reason Ganondorf had chosen you to come, because he knew you couldn’t say no to him. You hadn’t said no to him so many times and in so many different ways.
It wasn’t because you were weak or fragile. When push came to shove, you’d normally have no qualms telling him he was wrong. He’d even encouraged it, fond of the challenge. You simply knew when to keep your mouth shut for either safety or occasionally pleasure.
“Like you said, dangerous times,” you settled on saying.
He slowly inhaled and exhaled, a whirlwind of emotion hidden in his eyes.
He didn’t comment further. Instead, he changed the subject, “You must be famished, it’s been such a long day and we barely took a break. May I?”
You gestured for him to go ahead.
He led you down the halls of the castle to a kitchen area. He scooped several fruits you’d seen only briefly in your time here with Ganondorf but hadn’t tried onto a plate. Then he grabbed a pot filled with water and began preparing something.
It was so strange to see, a king making and preparing his own things. It didn’t seem right or rather normal. Especially in comparison to Ganondorf who practically used you as all his needs packed into one. You prepared his food. You stood watch to guard by his throne. You handled the townspeople’s squabbles. You did everything except the political work. That was until recently when you’d been thrown into that too.
“Oh, there you are,” Sonia said as she entered the room. “I couldn’t figure out where the two of you went.”
“My apologies,” Rauru said. “It simply occurred to me that none of us had eaten in our time together. I thought I’d rectify that.”
“A noble cause,” Sonia said as she reached over you for a golden, round fruit.
She bit into it with a small crunch sound. Her eyes fluttered closed for a mere second as something in her seemed to relax.
You could see the smallest droplet of something clear begin to try to roll down her lips and chin but you reached out to gather it with your thumb before it got the chance. It was sticky on your skin though that was to be expected.
Sonia’s hand nearly went to where yours had touched her but she stopped herself.
“I hadn’t realized how hungry I was until food was placed in front of me,” she said with a small smile.
“A common realization,” Rauru said.
He grabbed three cups. What was normal in your hands was dwarfed in his. It seemed so small, like an adult playing with a child’s toy.
He held them like he held the papers (not hard enough to pierce) and the fruit (not hard enough to bruise), not hard enough to crack.
He poured tea into the three cups. You reached for the one closest to you slowly.
“No one has ever made me tea before,” you admitted.
A flitter of sadness was quickly washed away with the hand placed on your arm and smile scratched across her lips as Sonia said, “Then you’re in for a treat, Rauru makes some of the best tea I’ve ever tasted.”
“Now, Sonia, you know better than to place false expectations in people’s heads,” Rauru said.
“And you know better than to lie,” she retorted.
You hide a smile at their banter with the cup before you took a sip.
“I’m afraid Queen Sonia is correct,” you said. “You’ve downplayed. It’s wonderful tea.”
“Thank you.”
“And please, simply call me Sonia.”
You arrived in Gerudo Town nearly four hours after the sun had descended from the sky. You took a moment to bask in the comfortable temperature inside the walls of the town (especially in contrast with the sharp chill of the outside) before you began to make your way to Ganondorf’s chambers.
“You’re late,” he said sternly.
“The meeting ran over,” you explained, not lying but not revealing the entire truth.
He scoffed lightly as he turned to look at you. He circled you, inspected you with critical eyes. He searched for any sign of damage. If there was the smallest scratch or faintest bruise on your skin you knew he’d find it and use it to his advantage. He found nothing.
“Would you like to make up for your lost time?” he asked.
“Of course.”
You followed him to wherever it was he led you. You knew what you were agreeing to. You did it willingly, probably would even if he wasn’t your higher up and simply a man on the street. However, he wasn’t the only person you’d found yourself drawn to in these ways recently. You couldn’t admit to that, however. At the very least not now.
Perhaps soon you’d be able to focus on more than just him and his wants. You dared to dream that maybe one day you could focus on your own.

May I Bleed So You May Heal ~ Ganondorf X Reader [PT 1/?]
Chapter Selection
<- Previous / Next ->
Tumblr media
"It is only outside our borders where dangers lie," the people of her great kingdom would say. They speak of thieves and murderers that live where the grass does not grow and the sun shines hottest. Where it is foretold that a man would be born only once every century and that a great evil is to be found on the hundreth of such an occasion. One who would bring the end to all peace and throw the world into chaos and ruin.
"But," some would say.
"These are legends. Stories told to children over campfires. The kingdom of Hyrule is safe. As it has always been. As it will always be"
You, Daughter of Rauru and Sonia, holder of a secret stone and the only heir to their throne, would soon have to find the line where reality met legend, where truthful judgment met prejudice, and where love met loyalty
-
"Princess Y/n. It's time to wake" a voice spoke, calmly pulling you from the inky void of sleep.
Next to you stood an older woman, minor wrinkles formed at her eyes and creases shown as she softly smiled. Her age wasn't that of an elder, but of experience and clinging youthfulness that she hung beautifully on to. Her hair fell down her shoulders like cascading ink that caught a dull shine, her eyes a soft pale brown that stared gently down at you. She was taller than most women you knew, though that wasn't much of a feat. Her style of choice was always an elegant dress no matter the time of day or chosen activity. One might have even mistaken her for royalty.
"It is time to wake up, my dear. You have many things planned for today" her voice held a sweetness as she leaned over, carefully tucking a part of your messy hair away. You gave her a groggy stare through your tiny eyes before attempting to rub away at the sleepiness that held onto you.
"Vania?" You called the woman's name.
"Where's ilima?" You asked, finding it strange that none of your servants had been the one to wake you. She simply smiled for a moment.
"Your father believes it would be better that I take the role of getting you ready in the mornings from now on" she announced as she then turned towards your closet to grab what she would need to dress you, leaving you rather confused.
"Oh...okay" you spoke, a flat tone in your voice. You felt a little saddened since you had quite liked the servants that took care of you. You didn't dare argue though. She continued to grab what she needed before speaking again.
"It was on short notice for me as well. Though I did agree it was probably for the best" she explained, soon picking an outfit for you. One of blue and white that she often said she loved, despite your disagreement.
"Now come, we must get you ready-" a knock came at the door.
"Princess Y/N, King Rauru and Queen Sonia would like to speak with you in the garden once you're ready" a woman's voice announced to which you quickly turned back to Vania, a part of her smile falling ever so slightly as she stared at the door
"Why yes, of course. We should..." She paused before turning down to you, her face strained.
"We will go speak with your father...after your bath of course" she spoke and you immediately began whining.
"But I don't want a bath!"
-
Only after what felt like hours had you finally made it to the garden, your parents standing proudly as they talked with a member of their council.
"Their stay should be short enough. They wish only to discuss trade-" your father stopped, his eyes catching on you.
"Y/n! It is good to see you, my little one!" He speaks with outstretched arms that you do not hesitate to run to. He quickly dismisses the others as you are placed down. You feel the embrace of your mother, a soft smile on her face as she stares at you. Once she releases you, your father begins to pour tea and you all take your seats. It leaves you a little confused as to why he did so, since you usually only had such gatherings in the afternoon.
"Vania dressed you this morning, yes? You certainly wear her tastes" your mother speaks and you nod and she smiles a bit brighter.
"Why are we having tea so early?" You asked. Your parents shared a glance before your father spoke.
"We will be quite busy today and the days after. I fear this will be the only time for a while that we will be able to do this" he explains and your face falls.
But you always had tea! No matter how busy they were!
"Don't look so sad, my starlight. It is only temporary. Let us instead enjoy the peace of this morning" your mother speaks gently and, despite still feeling quite upset at the news, you try to lighten up a little.
"Your mother is right. Now would you like some sweetness to your tea?" Your father asks and that catches your attention quickly, a wide smile breaking on your face as you quickly nod. He smiles once more, happy to see that he could pull you from such sadness.
-
"and then I-!"
"You mustn't speak so much" Vania's voice rings suddenly
"It is unladylike," she complains. You find shame burn through you at the words as you quickly stopped your words.
"Sorry" you speak in a near whisper, your head falling slightly. She tsks at you.
"It is alright" her tone sounds of hidden irritation. Once your apology is accepted you allow your eyes to be shown at the table once more. Only after a long moment, though with dread building, do you dare opening your mouth once more.
"May I be excused, lady Vania?" You ask, her eyes shifting down towards you with a open annoyance before eventually nodding. You show her a bright smile and go to stand. She stops you as you feel a something laid over your shoulder. On further inspection you find it to be your satchel.
"But you must go to your room. You are behind on your books" she explains and your body visibly deflates. But you know better than to disagree with her. So, doing as told, you head up the stairs and down the halls that seem a little more guarded than usual, soon arriving at you door. You had reached for the handle when, suddenly, something caught the corner of your eye. Immediately at alert you snap your head in the direction of it to see the head of a hooded figure peeking out before a blur of black turns down the hall and leaves your vision. You, in your childlike innocence, assumed it to be a game, for there was no other explination for it to you. Nothing dangerous ever roamed these castle walls and surely none would make it as far as your room without being caught. So, free from inhibition and full of excited curiosity, the chase began.
You caught glimpses of a black cloak that ran ahead of you, just barely out of eyesight at each turn as you were led down the parts of the castle less traveled. You had to admit they were rather quick, at least quicker than you could run in your awful dress, but you knew the castle better. It only took you a few alternative hallways before they made it to a dead end and were trapped. It was then you noticed that, while taller than you, they remained quite short. So you assumed them to be a child, like yourself. It only brought you more excitement as it had been so long since you were able to play with another kid.
"Ha! I caught you!" You mocked, a little out of breath as you stood. You watched as the hooded figure frantically looked around before realizing no way out of this.
"Leave me!" a voice you assumed belonging to a younger boy yelled. Your victorious features fell at the sound of his him angered and clearly upset. Your look turned petrified.
"O-Oh um. I'm sorry. I didn't know you were upset. I thought we were playing!" You tried to explain, your hands held up in surrender. The boy didn't make any attempt at moving, looking almost frozen in place. You felt guilt consume you.
"I'm really really sorry. Um…Oh! Here!" You reached into the small bag you held on your side. It was mostly filled with books and work but reaching a little deeper you found what you were looking for. A small piece of candy. You then outstretched it to him.
"It's my last one. You can have it" you spoke happily, hoping that it would make this better somehow. He didn't move for a moment more, which made you feel even worse. But soon hope sprang in your chest when he slowly moved away from the wall and towards you. Once he was close enough to take the candy you were able to look under his hood but, to your surprise, it looked like an empty void. You didn't think much of it though as you gave him a wide smile.
"I'm Y/n. What's your name?" you spoke with a perky tone. He eyed you suspiciously for a moment, or at least you assumed so with the way he leaned away, before pocketing the candy.
"No say" he spoke his words strangely, a thick accent found in his voice that you had never heard of before. Your smile fell slightly.
"Oh…why?" You asked, staring at him curiously. He still stood uneasily but he seemed to have calmed. He only shrugged his shoulders and said nothing more. You gave him an even more confused stare but continued to look past his strange behavior.
"...wanna be friends?" You asked, the question seeming to catch him quite off guard. But, after a moment, he spoke again.
"I talk-...no Hyrule?" he speaks with almost a question in his voice and it takes you another moment before you realize what he saying and everything begins to make a little more sense.
He can't understand you!
You then proceed to speak in four different languages, each a little more broken, but none seem to help. After you exhausted all other options you reach back into your bag, pulling out a page before drawing two very rough almost stick figure looking versions of the two of you with happy faces playing before showing it to him. He paused for a moment as he stared at it before slowly taking the picture into his hands, nodding, to which you smile brightly. But then he outstretches a hand for what you had drawn with. You let him take it and he draws a picture of a door and an arrow pointing from the version of him to had drawn to said door.
"Back" was all he said as he showed you the picture. Your eyebrows furrowed a moment before looking to him once more.
"You...are lost?" You asks and after another moment he hesitantly nods. You then take the items from his hand and draw a rough outline of the castle, splitting it at the levels of each floor before showing it to him.
"Where are you supposed to be?" you ask and once again he hesitates before pointing to the bottom right of your drawing.
"Oh...well then follow me! I know a super secret way to get there!" You announced, taking the boy's hand and pulling him along. You only felt a slight resistance before he followed.
You headed for a wall, carefully pushing it out of the way as it revealed a secret opening behind it. You quickly dragged him in before closing it behind you.
"How old are you?" You ask as you look up toward him. You still couldn't see his face, which was strange, but you didn't mind too much. You watch him struggle for a word for a moment before it finally falls from his tounge.
"Nine" he spoke, finally seeming to understand something you had said. You turned to him with wide eyes.
"No way! You're huge! You have to at least be eleven!" You yelled and he tilted his head slightly, not at all fazed by your outburst.
"Nine" he repeated.
"You?" He asked and you didn't hesitate in a response.
"Eight" you answered proudly and he let out an almost bark-like laugh. You turned to him with offense on your features.
"What's so funny!" You demanded. He did not react to your words, but did calm his laughing a moment to speak once more.
"Such tiny!" he proclaimed before letting out another barking laugh. You stopped walking, crossed your arms, and pouted, clearly upset at him.
"I am not! I'm normal height!" You defended as you turned to him. Stomping your foot. He stopped and looked at you but it only made him laugh harder.
"Little sand bunny!" He spoke through his laughter and your face burned at the comment, utterly embarrassed by it.
"Yeah well you look like- like a bear!" You spoke back and his laughter stifled for a moment, his head tilting once more.
"Bear?" He asked you anger dissipating as your tried to find enough calm to explain it to him.
"You know um..." you thought on it for a moment before realizing he wouldn't understand it in words. So you decided it best to show him as best you could. First, your arms stretched wide and tall.
"Big!" you exclaimed. You then put both of your arms to either side of your head, flexing.
"Strong!" you spoke next before finally bearing your teeth, your hands held in claw shapes in front of you.
"Scary!" you said finally. He stood in silence for a few minutes shaking his head.
"No. Big? Strong? Yes" he added, seeming to puff out his chest. It was your turn to laugh.
"No you're not" you spoke lightheartedly and he deflated almost immediately.
"Yes!" He answered back. You only giggled further before continuing to walk, waving him forward.
"No, you aren't" you spoke with a snicker, clearly amused. Then suddenly you felt your weight lifted from the ground.
"H-Hey!" you yelped. You heard him laugh once more and you could do nothing but scrunch your nose up at him.
"Let me go!" you yelled, but he did not listen, instead he only raised you above his head. As if it was nothing.
"Okay! Okay! You're big and strong now put me down!" you admitted and only then did he do as you asked. Once he did you glared at him and he only patted the top of your head in response. You huffed and continued.
The two of you continued down these quiet halls talking of your favorite colors and fruits and frankly all sorts of things. It was quite fun to talk with him, mostly because you had to find more creative ways of doing so. You played charades and drew and talked around words until the other understood. You were both persistent in your efforts to understand each other and it made for quite a fun game.
But, soon enough, the two of you had made it to the end of your walk. And he would have to leave.
"Are you leaving tomorrow?" You asked, sadness in your voice. He tilted his head and so you went about finding the picture of the castle you made earlier before drawing the gate beside it and an arrow through it.
"When?" you asked. He still seemed confused so you looked for a different question. You went with charades this time as you pointed at him.
"You" he pointed at himself and you nodded. You then pointed to the ground.
"here" He hesitates before waving his hands vaguely around the area. You nodded once more, then headed for another piece of paper and drew a sun just over a hill.
"Tomorrow" You finally spoke, his head beginning to tilt again before it seemed to hit him and he nodded frantically.
"Yes" he answered and you became utterly excited.
"Yay! I can't wait to tell mother about this!" You spoke so happily but your words seemed to cause a panic within him.
"No tell! No no- No tell!" He spoke desperately, your smile falling immediately.
"Oh um. Okay. I won't!" you spoke frantically before you placed a hand on your heart, mimicking how your father would when swearing on anything important.
"I promise, on my word" you stood tall, looking as serious as you could. It seemed to calm him as his tense posture loosened. He gave a nod and opened the secret door back into the hall before quickly tucking into a room. He turned back for one moment and gave you a small wave. You waved back before quickly shutting the door.
For an entire month you and the boy with no name played together. The two of you nearly got into trouble on multiple occasions being places you most certainly shouldn't be but the two of you were never caught as you hid and ducked into the quiet areas behind the walls. It was the most fun you had in quite a long time. And, despite never seeing his face and having difficulty communicating, you two got along quite well. You played games and often laughed with one another. The two of you grew to be great companions, sneaking off to find each other at any moment you could and teaching each other some of the words from each other's languages. You two had never known such childlike fun!
But a month seemed to pass in the blink of an eye. And now he stood before you in your room, head hung low and hands behind his back.
"You're…leaving?" You asked him and he gave a nod, eyes held to the floor. You felt your heart break as he told you, your childlike fun coming to a swift end.
"But- But you can't leave! You're my best friend!" You yelled, incredibly saddened by the realization. He stayed silent, which you had learned to be his answer when he didn't know what to say. You felt tears prick at your eyes.
"When will you come back?" You asked, voice wavering. He looked up to you, his fists tightening at the sight of you.
A shrug was his answer which only saddened you further, the tears falling down your face. His fists loosened.
"No- No sad" he asked of you, his voice soft as he approached you. He took a seat on the bed beside you and, after a moment, he pulled you into a hug. You immediately clung to him as you began to cry. He held you tighter at your sounds, his own sadness only growing at this separation.
After a long moment you pulled from him, quickly wiping the tears off your face once you did.
"This isn't fair" you whined as your arms crossed. After a moment he mimicked the action, pouting alongside you.
You turned to him before a sudden inescapable giggle left you at how his huge form looked so strange when pouting. His head turned toward you with surprise.
"What?" He asked, confused at your sudden change in demeanor
"You look funny when you're mad" you teased in a lighthearted way, though his offense at the words was genuine.
"No!" He argued defensively. But you're laughing continued, which only caused him to pout further. Soon your giggles died down, though he remained upset.
"I was joking!" You tried to speak convincingly but a smile still clung on your face, only earning you a the cold shoulder as he turned from you. Though even with no way to see his face you could tell by the way he never fully turned that he wasn't as upset as he pretended to be. But you played along anyway, letting out a dramatic sigh.
"Okay fine. I'm sorry" you attempted an apologie, but it didn't seem to work. Seeing this you huffed, trying to think of what to do. Finding no answers you gave up and simple asked him instead.
"What do you want? Another candy?" You asked. He slightly turned back to you as you felt his eyes scan you. He then pointed to your head
"That" he answered. It was your red ribbon. The sides of it were rimmed with a beautiful gold and it always seemed to sit in your hair perfectly. It was practically the only color besides blue and white that Vania let you wear and you loved it desperately.
"...Fine" you gave in and he finally turned back to you.
"But you have to give me one of your rings," you proposed, pointing down to the rings held over his gloved hands. He paused for a moment before looking down at them and, with a shrug of his shoulders, he took off one of them and outstretched it to you. In turn, you gently pulled the red ribbon from your hair and outstretched it as well. In the same moment you both let go and took the gifts from one another.
Before another word could be spoken a knock came at your door.
"Y/n, little one, may I see you?" Your father's voice spoke, setting an immediate panic through the both of you.
"I-I'm not decent!" You yelled as the two of you quickly went with your emergency backup plan, heading for the window.
"Oh…would you like me to get Vania?" He asked and you hurried your friend to the window.
"No! I got it!" You yelled once more, quickly opening the window so he could climb out of it.
"Okay. Just open your door when you are ready!" Your father replied, his voice thankfully covering up the sound of him shuffling out of the room. As quietly as you could you helped him out, thankful that your room was high up enough on the castle that no guards would notice.
Once he stood outside of the window, his hood over his head and your ribbon in his hand, you felt the immense sadness of him leaving all over again. Being only children you had no clue how to express this deep sadness. And so, taking after the goodbyes your parents showed each other, you gave him a quick peck on the cheek. It wiped the sadness on his face clean off, replaced by utter shock and a lopsided smile that you still could not see behind his mask of darkness
You could have never known how such a small moment would have changed the course of your life.

Word count?: I dunno man

There was a soft glow before I bursted into a soft light making the two royal couple notice it. They immediately went to investigate and was shocked to find Zelda peacefully asleep with a secret stone on her opened balm.
The yelled hair women gasped softly and knelt down to Zeldas laying form. "Oh! Oh dear" She softly said. The voice made Zelda stir and slowly wake up from a slumber thinking it was a dream.
Zeldas eyes fluttered open and looked up only to see two unfamiliar faces. Her eyes snapped wide open as she sat up and scooted away quickly. "Where am I?" Zelda asked looking afraid. "We didn't mean to startle you" The soft blonde haired women said smiling.
"It's okay my name is Sonia" Sonia said smiling while placing her hand on her chest. "And could we ask what your name is?" The animal like man asked placing his furry hand on his chin.
"I- I am the daughter of king rhoam of hyrule. Zelda" Zelda said bit she sounded hesitant to answer. "What an unexpected answer. We are king and queen who founded hyrule, after all. Atleast the last time we checked." The furry animal said looking like he was amused by zeldas answer.
"You two founded hyrule? And you're the king?" Zelda asked, honestly shocked and amazed at the two. "Hm my name is rauru. King of hyrule." Rauru responded. "King rauru....queen Sonia" Zelda muttered placing her chin on her hand questioning and thinking if she heard of those names before widening her eyes and looking at them. "That must mean-" Before Zelda could respond there was a grunt and shuffling from the trees. Rauru looked alerted and Zelda yelped and moved back. After a couple seconds you suddenly came out of the bushes grunting in pain and clutching your eyelets eye.
"Y/n!?" Zelda gasped scrambling up and ran to the taller person who grunted in response now looking at the smaller female and the two couple. "Zelda?" You softly said your voice raspy like you screamed loudly and lost your voice. "Oh God y/n let me see" Zelda said gently taking your bloody dried up hand and removing it and gasping seeing what the red stuff had done to you. The red stuff had completely destroyed your eye ball only left was a hollow eyesocket. The familiar color of the red stuff was glowing and spreaded around your eye like it was veins or....part of you.
"Y/n?" Sonia muttered looking worried as seeing the tall female looking so injured and in pain. "Oh gods y/n" Zelda whimpered and you just smiled weakly. "It's find madam it isn't hurting as much" You said softly before standing up to your full height and looking around. "This place....it looks like where in hyrule." You muttered looking at Zelda and nodded as she carefully held your hand and dragged you to the edge and looked around as you did, trying to ignore the pulsing pain.
"As I thought..." Zelda muttered finally taking everything in that is around her including y/n after a while of processing this new world. "This is not the world we know y/n" Zelda said with a shaky breath. "A time so far back into the past, it had become a legend" You spoke softly looking at everything. Everything seemed so clean well taken care of and most importantly.....peaceful. Sonia and rauru looked at the two with worry mostly as the tall female who looked like she's been through it all.
"So it is true. This is really the Era of hyrules founding?" Zelda asked turning around and looking at Sonia and rauru with egarness and sparkling eyes. While you looked at them with caution. Your gut telling you that something bad is going to happens as Zelda and and you are going to this world.
"You and your friends presence is as strange to us, Zelda and y/n" rauru said looking at the two. "But if you, like Sonia have a secret stone you are able to manipulate time, then your story makes sense." Rauru said as Zeldas eyes looked down at the secret stone and you looked at zelda with worry even though it was a bit of her fault for going down that place that gives you goosebumps thinking of it and her picking up that stone you and zelda would've not make it.
Oh God now you think about it what's link doing right now? The last thing you remembered was link and his arm corrupted. You napped put of it once Sonia spoke once again.
"Oh? I believed her right away. You needed the secret stone as proof rauru?" Sonia asked looking up at rauru who looked down at her.
"I can feel your light power within her. As well as my time power" Sonia smiled as Zelda looked puzzled. Sonia then looked at y/n who looked back at her. "As for you I can feel a certain power yet I can't put a finger on what it is." Sonia hummed looking at y/n with amusement thinking how adorable y/n looked like a big dog looking all cute and sweet but hidden underneath lies a beast that is waiting until the right moment to come out and attack its prey.
"Addintional I sense we share a blood connection" Sonia said shifting her gaze away from ypu and to zelda smiling oh so softly making your heart skip a beat a little. Zelda gasped as her eyes widened yet you stood there awkwardly with Zelda clutching your bloody dried hand tightly.
"Ah, I see" rauru responded to the new information. "In any case Zelda and y/n, you said that you needed to go back to your Era as soon as you possibly could." Rauru said looking at Zelda suddenly glancing at y/n who nodded either raurus words.
"Yes." Zelda managed to utter out and looked down on the ground. "In our time something terrible has happened." You said calmly ignoring how your voice and your body hurts from moving and talking. "We need to get back there. Bit how do we do that?" Zelda asked softly as y/n rubbed zeldas soft and tiny hand in comfort. Zeldas heart skipped a beat as she looked at y/n with slightly teary eyes and you gave Zelda a comforting smile.
"We don't even know how we got here in the first place" Zelda spoke and y/n nodded in agreement trying to remember what had happened but everything was to fusy to remember. Zelda and y/ didn't notice but Sonia harshly nudged rauru who was thinking and flinched. Sonia smiled and moved where y/n and Zelda where as rauru watched and held his side in pain.
"Now zelda and y/n dears..." Sonia said her voice comforting to you and zelda. "You both don't need to solve all your problems all at once. How about you both come with us to the castle?" Sonia asked. "No.....i...." Zelda stuttered feeling a little embarrassed and letting go of y/s hand as Sonia held one of your hands and zeldas to. "Well tell everything your.....a distanct relative of hours and you..." Sonia said to Zelda chuckling "it is true after all." Sonia said and now looking at you. "And you..." Sonia hums softly. "A knight your majesty I'm one of zeldas apointing knights and general of hyrule castle sworn to protect the royal family until my dying breath." You said bowing to Sonia who looked amazed on how a tall female such as yourself could be a hylian. "Yes a royal knight of zeldas." Sonia smiled. "Well get both of you some fresh clothes to." Sonia smiled brightly making Zelda blush slightly and look down.
"Im sure your answer will take time. After all wisdom takes time." Sonia said easing both you and zeldas mind slightly. Zelda gasped and soon smiled "I don't know what to saw" Zelda says smiling even more as you were to deep in thought about how hungry and how you probably smell.
"Hm, I wonder" rauru hums finally snapping out of his daze and you did also and looked at him. "Mineru.....she may have some idea how to get back to your era." Rauru hums placing his hand on his chin. "Mineru you say?" Zelda asked looking confused and you also looked at rauru with wonder.
"Yes...she knows far more than anyone than our people" Rauru answered looking at Zelda. "Like us, my older sister has a secret stone as well. We'll call on her" rauru said smiling lightly.
Zelda nodded her hand all four of them started walking down the path to the castle. "Now that I think of if how did you end up in the bushes y/n?" Zelda asked looking up at y/n who barley spoke during the conversation. Y/n looked down as Zelda looking confused. "I wasn't in the bush I woke up on a tree and fell. I was stumbling around until I found your voice and two unfamiliar ones." Y/n spoke. "A tree!? Goodness y/n you always end up in the strangest places. Gosh do you have any bruises from falling!?" Zelda asked looking at y/n and trying to see if you were injured. "I'm find madam don't worry to much" You chuckles and continued venturing forward with Zelda not noticing two stares staring at her.
"They looks just like them" Sonia whispers and rauru agreed. "The one part missing is their stone" rauru hums looking at the tall female. "Should I pull those clothes for them?" Sonia asked and rauru nodded. "If they ask tell them it's one of the hyrule traditional clothes." Rauru said holding Sonia hand which Sonia smiled and walked behind the two bickering people.....well one of them was bickering.
Though for some reason you felt like this whole entire thing going in the past meeting the original rulers is going to end up bad. After all this was the era when calamity Ganon was originally born in.

Sure thing.

Lonely Without Friendship
Raihan x F! Reader Angst/Fluff
Growing up you were always bullied. You didn't do anything to cause the bullying. It's just that kids are mean. You didn't have any friends because of this, so your parents ended up giving you a Glaceon and a Leafeon to help and protect you. They were your only friends throughout all of your school years. That was until you moved to Galar to continue studying.
So far your only friends were Hop, Milo, Marnie, Gloria (Fairy Gym Leader), Nessa, Melony, Sonia, and Bea. Your two Eeveelutions didn't like men all that much since boys were the main bullies from your younger years. Hop and Milo were the exceptions since Leafeon and Glaceon could tell that they had good intentions and wouldn't hurt you in any way. There were some people in Galar who would bully you and they would either wake up to a yard full of leaves or a yard full of ice that was covered in snow.
Raihan wanted to befriend you, but your two friends wouldn't allow it to happen. You would always have to put them into their Great Balls in order to talk to him. You couldn't blame them because Raihan is an intimidating-looking man. Towering over you and his fangs were a little scary at first. Leafeon would give him cuts by using razor leaf and Glaceon would purposely make the surrounding area cold by using snowy terrain.
It has been two years since you came to Galar and your two partners have eased up a little bit. They now like Kabu, Leon, Bede, Gordie, and Piers. Raihan was close to giving up on becoming friends with you entirely because he still isn't liked or even remotely close to being liked. That was until he was sitting with you on your bed while you were crying. You were crying because your boyfriend of three years broke up with you over text. Leafeon and Glaceon were laying their heads on your lap trying to comfort you. You were leaning your head against Raihans chest in a way that he couldn't see your tear-stained face.
"Y/N, I am going, to be honest with you and you may not like what I am about to say."
You sniffle and hiccup before responding
"What is it, Rai?"
"Your boyfriend was a complete jerk. He didn't deserve you."
You remove your head from his chest and look up at him.
"What do you mean?"
"What I mean is that you deserve someone who will treat you like you are the queen of the world."
You giggle a little bit before sniffing again
"I am no queen, Raihan. You know that."
He gently takes your hands in one of his and puts his other hand on your cheek.
"You are a queen, Y/N. You may not see it. But you are a queen to your Leafeon and Glaceon."
The two Pokémon nuzzle against you making happy purring noises agreeing with Raihan.
"And if I am being honest. You are my queen. I would do anything to see you smile. I will embarrass myself in order to make you laugh."
After telling you that he kisses the top of your head and you smile.
"Thank you, Raihan. I appreciate that. I really do."
"You are very welcome. Now, why don't you lay down with Leafeon and Glaceon and take a nap because I bet you feel tired after letting out all those emotions."
You nod and lay down. Glaceon and Leafeon lay down by your feet. Raihan gets off the bed and heads towards the door until you grab his hand.
"Could you cuddle with me, Raihan? Please?"
He looks at you and then at the two Pokémon for their responses. They nod their heads, yes and he lays down next to you putting your head on his chest. You and Raihan smile knowing that Leafeon and Glaceon finally accept that he would never hurt you. Ever.

Y/N L/N was a part of the Future Foundation, 14th division. While their twin sister, T/N who was the Ultimate Queen ( Originally Princess but a certain blonde already took the title ), was a Remnant of Despair along with the rest of their class.
It pained the twin to see their other being controlled by the strawberry blonde fashionista. Especially since they had to capture her themselves.
After running the program, Y/N decided to enter as a secret agent of the Future Foundation to help the two others when needed. It hurts knowing the truth but they were glad to see everyone before the tragedy struck.
Their dear twin sister was indeed a troublemaker and others even say she's ‘ evil ’ due to her cruel and awful personality, but of course as - not only her twin - her loyal servant ever since they were reunited, Y/N stood by the girl's side.
There was also another that they treasure, Nagito Komaeda,The Ultimate Lucky Student. Yes, even knowing how he is, he managed to make them fall for him. It was interesting really, since T/N isn't really fond of him ( Most of them don't ). But their was something about him that made them feel . . . Loved. Not platonically.
Y/N and their friends, their fellow survivors of the first killing game, had thought everything would go smoothly.
Sadly, that was not the case. That's the reason why I said ‘ first ’ after all. Y/N had failed to protect the Ex-Remnants of Despair from Monokuma's sick game. They could only think of him being the reason the virus entered in the first place.
Three trials. Three blackeneds. Four victims. It was awful. They hated the fact they had to go through another killing game. Now here they are, starving in two fruit-based buildings. Unfortunately, that was not the only motive the despair loving bear had planned.

“ Upuhuhuhu! That's right! T/N is an agent working for me! ” Monokuma announced to the eleven remaining students. Everyone's eyes widen as they all looked at the said girl with shock and anger.
She took a step back, almost stepping on the skirt of her dress as she clicked her tongue and gritted her teeth. “ Seriously!? You peasants believe him!? ” She asked with a glare.
“ How can we not? You're basically . . Evil! ” Kazuichi exclaimed, hiding behind Mechamaru to avoid the girl's glare. Everyone agreed with what he said. T/N was definitely cruel and awful, how did she managed to get her Ultimate anyway?
“ Silence! You shall not call them ‘ peasants ’! ” Sonia ordered with a stern look on her pretty face. The young queen scoffed, crossed her arms and looked away “ Isn't that what we call others below us, your highness? ”
“ I mean, as despairing as it sounds . . Monokuma hasn't lied to us ” Nagito pointed out, to which T/N replied - “ Hush, you hope obsessed freak! ”
But it seems like everyone seemed to believe it's true.
-
“ You asked for me, your majesty? ” Y/N entered the deluxe room of Grape House. There, at the desk, was their twin who's eyes were shining with anger. “ That damned bear . . Those peasants . . ” She began to curse under her breath as she stabbed a certain area on the map.
“ I will make him pay for ratting me out ”
The elder twin sighed and walked up to her, placing a blanket they grabbed from the bed over her shoulders. “ It is getting late, you should rest. Some sleep should give you energy for now ”
T/N whined but listened nonetheless. As soon as the girl plopped onto bed, she was out like a candle light. Y/N smiled softly and kissed her forehead, bidding her goodnight before leaving the room.
“ That devil shall not live to see the light of day . Not after she poisoned us with her thorns ”
-
“ A body has been discovered! ”
“ A body has been discovered! ”
Two. Two victims. One was a destroyed robot and the other was a stabbed with gunshots H/C girl. That's right. The victims were Mechamaru Nidai and T/N L/N.

Nagito knew something was off.
The moment he saw his hope, Y/N, he knew that they were hiding something. And that something was indeed shocking. “ Ah, I apologise for not introducing myself earlier . . I'm Y/N L/N, the Ultimate Servant ”
That was a lie.
After completing the final dead room, he got his prize. It was files about them. Not only did he found out that Hajime was talentless and was a reserve course student, but his dear hope, his true love of his life, Y/N was not only talentless, but an agent of the Future Foundation.
He was upset but understood Y/N's reason. But for some reason . . He can't help but feel like he missed something.

After the trial . .
“ That's right! The blackened who killed T/N L/N and destroyed Mechamaru Nidai isss . . . Gundham Tanaka, the Ultimate Breeder! AHAHAHA! ” Monokuma cackled as everyone looked at the breeder, who seemed to be prepared for the up-coming punishment.
Despair was painted on everyone's faces, a few tried to hide it. But one let out the pain that was weighing their down, slamming their hands on their podium which surprised them.
Tears streamed down their face as they asked, “ Why did you choose to murder her!? Why in the brutal way!? ” Their voice cracked from the sobs that came after the question. They knew that the H/C haired servant would be upset, but it was shocking to see them break down so . . Easily.
But . . Come to think of it . . They weren't acting like themselves. They usually back Hajime up with no hesitation but during the trial, they kept their mouth shut. Like they're scared to say something wrong or spill information.
Gundham replied while looking away, “ Mechamaru did not deserve death . . But that daughter who's lord is a devil did. She was a demon and lived in the depths of darkness ” ‘ Y/N ’ 's eyes widen those words, their grip tightening.
“ That's right . . I deserved to die ” Everyone looked at them with confusion as they straighten their posture “ It's my fault they died . . ” Placing a hand on her chest, she exclaimed “ So pin the blame on me! ”
Then it finally hit. This wasn't Y/N . . This was T/N. If that's the case then . .
Nagito lowered his head and whispered, “ Y/N's gone . . ”
-
Knock Knock ** Click.
“ Y/N, you're here! Good news, I have an idea on how to prevent . . Huh? ” T/N turned around to see her twin that was wearing her clothes and their hair down like hairs. They looked identical to her. “ Why are you . . ? ”
They only smiled and gave her their clothes, a letter was placed on top of it. “ I actually have a plan of my own, dear sister ” T/N's eyes widen in sudden realization, “ You don't mean . . I will not allow it! Besides, that damned bear would know! ” She exclaimed, her eyes glistening.
Y/N shook their head and placed the clothes on the bed. After that, they put their hands on her shoulders with a firm yet gentle grip. “ I already took care of that issue ” “ But- ” “ Listen now my dear, you and I will switch and you will be me. It is fine, we're twins and I'll be here to take the strike ”
They wiped away her tears with their thumbs and kissed her forehead, “ They won't know because we look alike ” Y/N stood on the original position their twin was in as T/N hesitantly switched clothes. “ B-But what about Nagito!? Surely, he'll miss you! A-And I'm the devil here! I'm the demon! Not you! ”
Their smile saddens, “ . . . ” They knew how the pale luckster likes to pin the blame on his luck and himself. But they already wrote to him in advance. They hoped it would help him in some way. Y/N truly love the luckster just as much as they love their twin sister. But they live to serve their sister, even if it kills them. Even after knowing everything the other's don't.
Dodging the first question, they replied with closed eyes “ If the devil's your lord as they all curse your name . . Then I am a demon too, for we have the same blood ” As soon as T/N finished dressing, they pulled her outside and ordered “ Now go, don't look back and be free ”
The twin sister hesitates before turning away and acted like they had a normal conversation, holding back the tears as the cameras assumed she was the other. Y/N watched her leave before closing the door, leaving it unlocked and sat on the chair while watching the fire on the candle dance.
“ If the day comes that we are reborn once again, it'll be nice to play with you ” They could hear the footsteps “ I'm sorry for leaving you Nagito . . But until then . . ”
* Creak!
Glaring at the breeder, they asked ( sounding like their twin ) “ How dare you, you pest!? ”
-
Watching the execution was painful, like always. T/N handed the letter to Nagito before leaving the trial room “ . . They wanted you to have this ”

“ My Dearest Nagito,
I am guessing that T/N gave you this after revealing the truth, correct? But, that is not the point.
I know what you're thinking.
You're blaming yourself again, are you not? You blame your luck. You regret letting me get close to you.
But you shouldn't.
Yes, I have broken our promise. And I truly am sorry but I will never regret getting close to you. I'm sorry for leaving you behind so early.
And I know you may think you have nothing to live for but please, live and fight the despair.
That's what you tell me, right?
A daily reminder that you are not useless nor worthless, you are more than that. You're more than just a stepping stone. Don't be afraid to acknowledge that, even if you don't believe it.
Can you do me a favor? If it's alright.
End this killing game for me. I know you know about the files but that's the past. The future is still out there, right? So please, live and end this killing game with the others.
It seems like I'm running out of ink, so let me say this one last time, alright?
I truly and deeply love you, Nagito Komaeda. Please do remember that. Even after what you did, I can not help but love you. So, if the day comes where we are reborn, I'll gladly fall for you all over again.
I'll die with only one regret. And that is, I wasn't able to protect you.
- Signed, Y/N L/N <3 ”

“ Please, wake up ”
Y/N slowly opened their eyes, trying to figure out where they were and what was going on. But as soon as they sat up, they were pulled into a hug. “ Y/N! You're awake! ” “ T/N . . ? What . . ? ” Their gaze then landed on Nagito who stood beside Hajime.
Then it snapped, they hugged back and smiled “ So you did it . . I'm so glad ” They whispered as T/N pulled away and Nagito walked up to them. Tears finally streamed down his cheeks as he held both of their hands and leaned his forehead on theirs. “ You're here . . ”
Y/N kissed his nose, “ Everything's alright, I'm here, you're here, we're here. Safe and sound ”
Everything turned out to be great in the end. T/N slowly warmed up to everyone. They're working with the Future Foundation on Jabberwock Island. And all is good.
Arms wrapped around their waste as the luckster placed his chin on their shoulder, playing with the ring on their finger. With a content sigh, he says “ I love you ”
Yes, everything has it's flaws but nonetheless it was perfect to them.

The Kingdom of Roses
Tumblr media
You are the princess of Rusika, a kingdom neighbouring Novoselic. When one of your government’s high ranking officials is taken as a political prisoner, your kingdom retaliates by taking some of your own -- and they just might be more than you bargained for.
Hello Everybody! My name is Jess and I’ve been a longtime fan of Danganronpa, from around 2012 or 2013 when I first played the games. I wanted to try my hand at writing a reader insert for one of my favourite characters (and my first ever husbando), one Kazuichi Souda. This beautiful art really inspired me (I scoured high and low for an artist credit, but I couldn’t find one. If you know who drew it please let me know and I will give them the appropriate credit), and I wrote an x reader. I hope you all enjoy!  Warnings: This work contains NSFW not suitable for readers under 18. Please do not interact with this post if you are under 18.
Monarchies were a dying form of government. Most countries had established parliaments by now, but the Kingdom of Rusika, where you were born, and a few neighbouring kingdoms held onto their royal families until the very end. Novoselic was one such kingdom, one that until a few days ago had been your ally. Your father – beloved king of Rusika – had sent one of his most trusted advisors to negotiate a trade deal with the Nevermind family, rulers of Novoselic.
That advisor had been captured and held at ransom for some unknown reason. The Novoselic Kingdom really had no idea what they were doing, did they?
Sonia Nevermind was someone you had grown up with. The two of you had never been friends, per se, but you understood one another. You were Princesses tasked with leading your kingdoms towards prosperity. Your countries were similar enough – they had once been one, but after a civil war in 926, the country had been divided in half. While Novoselic’s exports consisted of luxury goods – wine, chocolate, and cheese – Rusika’s were more practical. Your main exports were related to geothermal energy and associated technologies, or mining precious gems. Your country – the kingdom of roses – was building the future. Hers was stuck in the past, weighed down by stupid traditions.
Your father trusted you more than Sonia’s father trusted her, and so you had grown up with more responsibilities. You had learned early on the burdens of leadership, and eventually began to find her boring. You made sure she never caught on, always giving her your full attention whenever she rambled about her silly life and silly problems.
Both of your countries had hit economic booms, so what need was there to worry? Gah, her philosophy was so stupid.
Today you woke up to find that your father had arranged the kidnapping of two of Sonia’s closest friends. She had just graduated from the prestigious Hope’s Peak Academy, and had apparently invited her entire class to Novoselic to spend their last vacation celebrating.
It was strange of him to make such a decision without consulting you first. You were supposed to be queen of Rusika one day, and he always made sure you had a say in decisions. Today you were instructed to dress the part of a princess and come greet your guests. You were to show them hospitality and make them feel welcome. You might have kidnapped them, but you weren’t monsters. They would literally receive the royal treatment, and you were to be put in charge of them.
As your handmaidens helped you dress (corseting you, doing your hair and makeup, and fixing your jewelry could be a six-person job), you went over what you wanted to say to your prisoners. How the hell were you supposed to make them feel welcome?
You had never seen a person with two different coloured eyes before. You had also never seen a person with pink hair. Based on the way they looked at you, dripping in jewels and looking your part, you doubted they had seen Sonia in all of her glory yet. You smiled as you introduced yourself, trying your hardest not to look like you were studying them. You explained the situation to them, told them they were valuable political prisoners and would not be harmed or imprisoned as long as they behaved, and did not try to leave.
The man with two different coloured eyes called you a fiend, as well as many other dark names as he promised his Princess would come for him. The man with pink hair affirmed “Miss. Sonia will rescue me!” and shook his fist at you, trying his best not to look starstruck.
Eventually, you got their names out of them.
“How long will we be here?” Gundham asked you over dinner that night. “I wish to return home as soon as possible. I have responsibilities.”
Realistically, you knew it wouldn’t be a quick endeavour. You and Sonia had spent three months as prisoners in a neighbouring kingdom as Rusika and Novoselic had laid siege to the capitol. That was when you had learned she was boring. She kept to herself in her room, and almost seemed upset with you whenever you would negotiate with your captors, or walked the palace grounds like a free woman.
“As long as it takes” you answered coolly, glad that Japanese was one of the languages your family had forced you to learn. Members of the royal family having to speak thiry languages was one tradition that Rusika had kept from its time joined with Novoselic. It came in handy when negotiating with foreigners. “I cannot provide a clearer answer than that.”
“Don’t worry, Gundham,” Souda spoke up. “Sonia will come for us!”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gundham spent most of his time observing the animals on your palace grounds. Your late mother had loved peacocks, so your father had taken up breeding them. She had loved many different animals when she had been alive, so the grounds weren’t exactly wanting. He enjoyed speaking with the vain birds, whistling and cooing until they would fan their elegant tails. His hamsters seemed to enjoy their accommodations too, with more seeds than they could have ever hoped to have eaten.
Souda, however, wanted to remain as unaffected as possible. He did his best to refuse any luxuries you offered him. It was only after you found out he had taken apart every electronic device in his room did you ask Gundham. The Ultimate Breeder had warmed up to you quickly, especially since you were the reason his hamsters were so well taken care of.
After Gundham cryptically told you about Souda, you gifted the Mechanic with a set of tools and new appliances to play with. Boredom could be so cruel, and the last thing you wanted was undue suffering.
Seeing him slip shyly into your study made your gift worth it. He was so awkward as he stumbled out a thanks, looking everywhere except your face. He was blushing and fiddling with a screwdriver as he spoke. “I still don’t trust you. You’re Miss. Sonia’s enemy,” he pointed his finger at you. “And any enemy of Miss. Sonia is an enemy of mine.”
“Would you like a workshop?” you asked him calmly. “I’m sure your room is a bit cluttered with all of those appliances. I just want to make your stay comfortable, I bear no ill will towards you, Mr. Souda.”
His cheeks flamed up and he stammered out a non-answer, shuffling out of the room and slamming the door behind him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Souda and Gundham had been with you a little over two weeks when the former finally cracked. He once more barged into your study, and looked you up and down. “I want somewhere to work,” he declared. He placed a crumpled piece of paper on your desk. “Here’s the list of everything I need.”
You saved the speech you were writing and logged off of your computer. “Come with me, Mr. Souda,” you stood gracefully, glad you no longer had to wear your ballgowns around him. It had always made you feel overdressed and obnoxious, especially considering he preferred to wear his jumpsuit rather than the clothes your country had provided him with. It had taken a lot to even convince him to let the servants wash the suit, let alone wear another while he waited.
In the end, you had commissioned seven identical jumpsuits for him, to match the one he already wore. At least he no longer reeked.
You paused at the door to the workshop you had set up for him. There was a guard stationed outside, but a nod from you dismissed him. Kazuichi’s eyes lit up as he observed all of the new-age tech he had to play with. He stammered out a bright-eyed thanks, and you gave him your brightest smile. You had done lots of research into what he would enjoy; he was your guest, not your prisoner. Right?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a month, Novoselic struck up a deal with Rusika. A hostage for hostage trade: Gundham Tanaka for your father’s cherished advisor. Kazuichi had not been mentioned in the negotiations at all, something that did not sit right with you.
He tried to pretend that he wasn’t upset he had been forgotten, but it was obvious to anybody with half of a brain he was torn up. You made efforts to spend more time with him. You had him accompany you on walks around the castle’s garden, and even took him out of the palace for a few walks around town for a change of scenery. Nothing you said lifted his spirits. He barely even looked at you now.
You watched him tinkering with his toys, but even that seemed to have lost its shine for him. He looked so sad, so bored that it made you anxious.
“May I ask you something?” you questioned on one such walk. The two of you had been caught in the rain and had sought shelter underneath a quaint gazebo. He looked back at you with a curt nod. “How is your hair pink?”
He blinked at you for a moment before he burst out laughing. It was the first time since he had come to Rusika that he had laughed, and it made your cheeks flame up as he smiled at you.
“I dye it,” he told you after he calmed down. “I first bleach my hair to take the colour out, and then I use a dye to turn it pink.”
“Colour?” You blinked up at him. “What colour is your hair supposed to be?”
Instead of answering, he removed his beanie to reveal about an inch of jet-black hair growing in at his roots. Your eyes widened in wonder. “So, it must be bleached again on the new hair?” you asked.
“Yes,” he smiled at you dopily. “It has to be done every few months or the hair will grow in its natural colour.”
“Does it feel different?” you asked. “The pink and the black?” Instead of replying, he took your hand and placed it onto his hair. Your blush only deepened as you felt how soft it was, and noticed his cheeks were bright red too as you pulled away. “Do you wish to turn your hair pink again? I will send for my stylist.”
He smiled at you, soft but genuine. “I’d really like that. Then I’ll feel a bit more like me,”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“What are you doing?” Souda peeked over your shoulder. You smiled tiredly up at him and you stretched as subtly as you could. You had been taking daily walks with him for several weeks now, and he would always drop by every few hours to see how you were doing, or to show off his latest invention.
“I’m looking at the schematics for a new geothermal energy plant,” you answered. “I’m trying to sort out how we can make our energy extraction more efficient.”
Kazuichi looked over the blueprints on your laptop screen. “I’d have to do the calculations, but if you merged these two pipes here-” he pointed. “-you would cut down significantly on the energy wasted.”
“Pull up a chair,” you told him. “Let’s take a look together, shall we?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kazuichi had been in your care for three months now, and he hardly acted like a prisoner. He called you “Miss” (probably because you called him Mr. Souda), and tended to barge in on you whenever he wanted. He had repaired the castle’s heating system, boosted your internet connection, and even helped you overhaul the design of your new energy plants. These plants would be 46% more efficient than the last schematic, something that amazed you. You told him repeatedly how marvellous he was, if only to see his face light up.
Lately, he had started wearing the jumpsuits your family had initially provided him with – similar to his old one but stamped with your country’s crest on the back – and had been a bit more… touchy than before. He would put a hand on the small of your back while you walked, or gently brush a lock of hair from your face as the two of you had tea.
You were not experienced in the slightest with intimacy or wanting to be in a relationship – you were certain you would learn that after you became queen – but now he was all you could think about. You knew the basics, knew what to expect from a man, but your heart was uncharted territory. You had never loved someone before, and some deep-seated fear in your heart was worried he would think you were taking advantage of him.
“I was in love with her, you know,” he told you one day while you were out for a walk. The two of you were once more caught in the rain and taking shelter in the same gazebo. “I loved Sonia.” Sonia. Not Miss. Sonia.
“Did it hurt?” you asked back, and immediately felt stupid for asking. It was none of your business, why did you want to know?
“I guess?” he shrugged. “I don’t – she never treated me like I mattered. She made me feel like I was nothing. Just a pest. Like I was disposable.”
“Sonia is a fool,” you told him. You meant it, of course you did, but at that moment you just wanted him to smile. “Your contributions will certainly leave their marks on this world. You are a remarkable person with a remarkable talent. Anybody who would overlook you is an utter fool.”
Kazuichi reached into his pocket and pulled out a small speaker. He set it on the railing, and it began to play a soft, slow song. “Will you dance with me?” he asked shyly.
“Of course,” you smiled at him, holding out your hand for him to take.
His steps were sloppy and uncoordinated, but the feeling of his warm body in your arms made you feel safe. You wanted him to love you. Love you the way he loved Sonia, and then even more. A legendary love that would eclipse all others.
When he leaned down to kiss you, you automatically tilted you head to the side. It felt like the first time and the thousandth time all at once – something new and exciting, yet undeniably right. He grinned at you like an idiot and kept swaying with you while the song ended.
“It all feels perfect with I’m with you,” he told you. “Like it all makes sense.”
“I understand,” you smiled up at him. “I feel the same way too.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He barely left your side now. He would let you work, of course, but wanted to spend his every waking hour with you. He held your hand on your walks, kissed your knuckles like a gentleman whenever he greeted you, and kissed you passionately when you were alone with him. You loved watching him light up at your presence – it was like his world began and ended with you.
His greatest joy was when he got to work with you. To see you listening carefully to his advice, offering insights of your own based on your knowledge. You worked to improve both your geothermal energy plants and plan for new mines. The number of precious stones mined this year was astronomical, and it wasn’t over yet.
Your father was impressed with the improvements he had made to the schematics he had been provided with, so he was gradually given more and more responsibility (along with his freedom, of course). Eventually, he began to receive an “allowance” as payment for the work he was doing. He spent most of it on new gadgets to tinker with or gifts for you. You would often retire to your room to find a vase full of flowers or a box of chocolates, and every time you saw them you would break out into a grin you could not stop.
The two of you would text one another (he made himself a cellphone because he was “bored and wanted to try it”) until you fell asleep, and within those words he bared his soul. He told you about his horrific home life – about the man who had dared to harm him – and about the friends who had betrayed him. He told you how much you mattered to him, all of the things he would do for you. Give up for you.
When he told you about his father hitting him one too many times, you left your room and went to his. You just needed to hold him, make him feel safe the same way he made you feel safe.
You were glad you went when you did, because there was a woman dressed in black trying to drag him out of the window. You raised the security alarm, and she was apprehended. Mukuro Ikusaba – the Ultimate Soldier – was thrown into your actual prison, and you once more had trouble with Novoselic.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You answered the door with bleary eyes, but seeing Souda’s tired smile as he mumbled about not sleeping was worth it. You used your new nickname for him – the word in your mother tongue that meant little pink rose – and he melted into your arms. You didn’t care that you were wearing your nightgown, or that it was early in the morning, you had your prince charming and he was safe, and he was yours. Yours.
“I had a nightmare,” he was curled up among your pillows, snuggled up under your blankets. “You forgot about me like she did.”
“I’m not her,” you reminded him, pressing a kiss to his forehead before resting your own against it. You could feel his warm breath ghosting over your lips, and as you let your eyes slip shut your hands found his. “I will never think of you as less than extraordinary, my darling.” You promised.
He kissed your cheek, slowly painting his way over your cheekbones and down to your lips. You responded wonderfully, one hand cupping his cheek as you kissed him slowly. You opened your eyes to see him staring at you with pure adoration. He wasn’t wearing his contacts, and his eyes were a light, rosy brown colour. Stunning.
“I love you,” the words slipped out of your mouth unbidden. You were speaking in your mother tongue now, but based on the smile he gave you and the whisper of “Ai shiteru” you got in return, he had understood. More than understood.
Your lips met his again, a strange kind of hunger filling you. He must have felt the change too, the atmosphere crackling with energy as you traced your fingers over his body. As he traced his fingers over yours.
You both stripped completely and held one another, clumsy and laughing and so in love. “Tell me if it hurts,” he had whispered to you as he stretched you open with his fingers. You had kissed him in response, a smiling sort of kiss that you hope conveyed more than a simple “I love you”.
Your lovemaking didn’t last long, but it didn’t have to to be perfect. It felt like it was right out of a fairy tale, and your prince charming was here to save you from everything bad in the world. You were here to save him, in reality, but you were more than happy to indulge him in his fantasies, so long as you could play a part in them.
When you were done, he wrapped you in his arms and placed a kiss to your temple. He hummed softly and played with your hair, whispering his love over and over again. You smiled up at him, tired but satisfied, and when you fell asleep your smile did not falter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since that night you had shared, Kazuichi had been coming to your bed every night. You would fall asleep together and wake up together and talk until you couldn’t anymore. When you weren’t talking, you were either cuddling or doing something less… innocent. Your mouth had mapped out every inch of his body, and you knew what to do to make him open like a flower. He liked letting you do what you wanted to him – liked giving over the power and control and letting you make him feel good.
He loved it when you spoke to him in your mother tongue – no matter what you said he would squirm and turn bright red.
“Do you like it when I play with your pretty cock?” you asked him lowly, and he let out a sweet moan as his legs fell open. He could tell from the sound of your voice if you were being sweet to him or not, and you could tell based on the noises he made if he wanted you to be sweet or not.
You wondered what fantasies swept him away as you mounted him. When you pinned his wrists and mouthed at his neck, you wondered why he was mewling so much. Did he even know what he was begging you for anymore, or did his mind just go blank every time you began to kiss his scars?
You learned every embarrassing detail about his body, and he learned every detail of yours. He loved to have you on him – worshipping him, taking pleasure from his body – but what he loved most were the quiet moments after.
The moments when you would roll off of him and kiss him slowly and tell him how good he was. When you would worship every scar again, tell him he was beautiful. When he’d lay his head in your lap so you could weave your fingers into his hair and hum him lullabies. He always fell asleep in your bed after you made love. It was one of the most perfect moments you ever shared, and you felt so, so lucky to have shared so many of them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today you woke up alone. Novoselic had finally sent an envoy to negotiate Kazuichi’s release. Today was the day.
Last night, he had helped you pick out your gown. He had chosen a white one with ruffles designed to look like flowers – Rusika was the kingdom of roses, after all – and as your handmaidens helped you get ready, you felt powerful.
You went all out – you wore your crown jewels and covered yourself in diamonds. You did not want there to be any doubt that they were dealing with a princess and would negotiate on her terms. Your father had been surprised when you had asked for this responsibility but granted you the negotiation opportunity.
Mukuro Ikusaba was wearing several chains, including a rather nasty-looking pair of handcuffs. She was positioned in a chair facing towards your throne, and she glared at you as you took your seat.
Kazuichi arrived only a few minutes after you, and his jaw just about hit the floor as he took you in. You gave him a smile befitting a queen as your eyes roamed his body – he was wearing a finely tailored suit and a ring with your family’s crest on it. You realized then you wanted to cover him in jewels. He would look so good sparkling.
He bowed deeply before taking his place at your side, breaking you from your train of thought. It was an old Novoselic tradition for the ruler’s consort to kneel on a special stool while the monarch conducted business, but while Kazuichi did kneel on the plush cushion, he tugged it towards you so he could lie across your lap. The action startled you at first, but as he snuggled deeper into your skirts and looked up at you with a smile, your fingers came up to weave into his hair in the way he found comforting, and he closed his eyes.
That lasted for a blissful minute before the throne room’s doors burst open and Princess Sonia Nevermind was announced. Her entourage filed in with her, and Souda tilted his head to get a better view of them. You recognized Gundham, and vaguely recalled hearing about a few of the others from Kazuichi. Classmates, if you remembered correctly.
Sonia had brought the Yakuza boy and the Ultimate Swordswoman as backup. She had also brought a hulking man with matching scars over both of his eyes. This man was someone you had never heard of, yet he was flanked by the usual Novoselic military honour guard. You greeted her in your shared tongue before switching to Japanese. “Welcome. What brings you all to Rusika?” you asked.
The princess of Novoselic cleared her throat and began once more in your mother tongue. “Apologies for interrupting, Princess Nevermind, but not everybody here speaks our language. I would like to include our guests in the matters we will be discussing,” Souda shifted in your lap, and you continued playing with his hair, sitting with the elegance of a queen.
Sonia began again, in Japanese this time. “I demand you release your prisoners at once,” she pointed at you. “Keeping a soldier hired by my country to retrieve a prisoner does not reflect well on the alliance between our peoples. I would hate for a war to break out.”
You sighed. “As a show of good faith, I will release the prisoner Mukuro Ikusaba to you,” you made a gesture and a pair of guards removed her shackles. You could feel Souda playing with your ruffles. “Was that all?”
“We are here for the prisoner Kazuichi Souda,” she answered. “I demand you release him.”
“Kazuichi is not a prisoner,” you corrected. “He has full autonomy and can choose to leave anytime he would like.”
“You kidnapped him as a political prisoner!” Sonia snapped, eyes locked on him. “Do not tell me that he is doing… that of his own free will!”
You gave his shoulder a pat with the hand that had been in his hair and he blinked over at Sonia. “I have done nothing malicious towards him,” you answered. “I have not-”
“Liar!” Sonia cut in. “You must have brainwashed him with Stockholm. You truly are a woman with flexible legs!”
Kazuichi raised his head a bit. “Don’t talk to my Princess like that!” there was a certain bite to his words. You ran your fingers soothingly through his hair as he glared at Sonia. “Gundham knows as well as I do that we were never mistreated here. We were given free reign, and I just so happened to be appreciated. I’m not a second choice here. I’m not forgotten.”
Sonia looked visibly upset at his words. “We did not forget you!” she assured him.
“You rescued Gundham after a month? A few weeks?” Kazuichi was bristling. “I’ve been here for eight. Eight months and you didn’t even bother to see if I was okay.” Sonia watched Kazuichi lie back down. “Excuse me for being happy. I forgot you don’t like it when I’m too overbearing with my affection.” He shifted around for comfort, burying his face in the crook of his elbow before tilting it out to the crowd.
“Is he truly able to leave anytime he wants?” Gundham asked.
“I am,” Kazuichi bristled once again. “I’ve got a job and everything.”
Sonia said your name. No title, just your name. “I would like to speak with you in private, future monarch to future monarch,” she was clenching her hands into fists.
“I’ll allow it,” you gave Kazuichi a gentle pat on the shoulder and he reluctantly pulled away. You stood, and he stood with you. He followed you down from your throne, and as you escorted Sonia towards your study you noticed Kazuichi was making a beeline for Gundham.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you were alone again, the first thing Kazuichi did was help you out of your dress. He was careful as he unlaced your corset, and as he helped you step out of it. He even hung it up properly so it wouldn’t get damaged. Then he was kissing you like he was about to lose you, pulling your body close and pulling you into his arms. He carried you over to the bed and tossed you into it, discarding his own clothes haphazardly as he followed.
“I love you,” he told you assuredly. “And nothing is ever going to change that. Not a single thing they say will convince me otherwise.”
You smiled at his words. “And I love you too, my little pink rose,” you gave him a deep, longing kiss.
It didn’t matter what the others thought or said. It didn’t matter what they did. All that mattered was what you and Souda thought. Souda was here with you. Souda loved you.
And no matter who decided to challenge that, they couldn’t take him away from you.

Gundham Tanaka was known for his outlandish statements. His ‘Overlord of Darkness’ persona attracted attention from others for being over the top and weird, so one couldn’t blame the others for not believing Gundham at times.
“You definitely don’t have a girlfriend,” sighed Kazuichi Souda one afternoon after class. Gundham furrowed his brow at the pink-haired boy and exclaimed, “Do you dare defy the words of Gundham Tanaka, the Overlord of Darkness!? My Queen of Darkness is real and a force to be reckoned with!”
“You’ll have a real girlfriend when pigs fly,” snorted Teruteru. Gundham glared at the pot-bellied boy and tsked, “Fine then. I will prove her existence! Wait for me after class tomorrow!”
Kazuichi and Teruteru exchanged a look, “Alright then. We’ll see you tomorrow.”
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
That night, Gundham laid in his dorm’s bed, staring at his phone screen. He smiled at his screen’s wallpaper, a photo of you and Gundham at a petstore. You held onto a golden lab puppy while Gundham took the photo on his phone.
Gundham’s phone suddenly buzzed with a text message. He opened the messaging app and smiled when he realized it was from you.
Queen of Darkness: Hey hon! How was school today?
You went to the local all girls’ academy next door to Hope’s Peak Academy and were often overrun with schoolwork, so these text conversations were sometimes the only time Gundham got to talk with you.
It was okay, my queen. I do have a question for you, however. Are you available to come to my school tomorrow afternoon? Regards, Gundham Tanaka.
Gundham’s phone chirped with a new message.
Queen of Darkness: Of course! See you then!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Gundham anxiously paced around the classroom, waiting for the clock to hit 3 o’clock. Teruteru and Kazuichi snickered among themselves with Teruteru cooing at Gundham, “Where’s your girlfriend, Overlord of Darkness?”
“I’m right here!” your voice boomed throughout the classroom. All eyes were on you, as you walked in with your Niiyama Academy uniform on. Teruteru and Kazuichi gawked at you, as you approached Gundham and kissed him sweetly on the lips.
“Ha! You simpletons! Feast your eyes on the Queen of Darkness herself, (Y/N) (L/N)!” Gundham introduced you to the class. Sonia and the other girls ran up to you, talking up a storm about how you and Gundham got together. Meanwhile, the other boys clapped Gundham on the back and praised him for scoring such a hot girlfriend.
“Believe me now, Teruteru and Kazuichi?” Gundham smirked at the two boys.
Kazuichi and Teruteru looked bashfully at one another, “I guess.. I guess so.”
At least, no one will doubt Gundham again on the matter of relationships
