Just read to the ending of Nathan the Wise with a group of friends & when it was done we all likewise embraced one another.

The translation was silly. The stage directions were unintentionally homoerotic. The structure of the play itself is very 18th-century. But man. I'd you do it right it becomes 3+ hours of the most intense emotion grinding into reason. Until everything in Lessing's strange medieval frame is illuminated.

Oh no I thought about David for a single moment and now I’m mad. I honestly think I’m more mad about LiS trying to make me like him more than the game trying to make me feel pity for Nathan. I truly think that if Max sees David hit Chloe, even if she rewinds it, the player should be blocked from choosing the pro-David stuff later on. It feels out of character for Max to side with him KNOWING that he beats her.
