Peter Pan Soriku (add-on)
- Riku and the other pirates have been sent by Captain Hook to capture fairies for their magical fairy dust -
Riku is tired and grumpy, all of the pirates have been trying to capture fairies for a week now, and all attempts have been a complete failure.
The lost boys have been running circles around them, they have managed to be one step ahead this whole time. The kids have the upper hand - it’s their territory, they know the land like the back of their hand. They also seem to have memorised all of their booby traps and their locations, there are hundreds all over the forest.
Riku wants to be the one pirate to succeed in this mission. The first. He wants to feel the satisfaction of winning, and the validation from the captain. He has daydreamed of Captain Hook, affectionately patting Riku on the back for a job well done. He wants to finally get respect and has a lot to prove as the youngest pirate on the ship.
—- respected is certainly NOT what he felt at this moment.
Riku is dredging through the thick swampy mud of the forest floor, his boots barely hanging onto this feet. He’s covered head to toe in grime and mud, all from the lost boys various booby traps.
They were relentless, Riku fell into almost all of them. Each one making him angrier and angrier. His only respite was the fact that the other pirates were just as downtrodden. At least Riku was still standing, he couldn’t say the same for a lot of the other men.
He has yet to be within reach of a lost boy, and the fairies seem even more out of reach.
But Riku has a plan -
and a sword.
Once he gets his hands on one of those boys, he’s going to MAKE them talk, one way or another.
- he chuckles darkly to himself and he swings his sabre to cut through the vines of the forest.
He hears giggling all around him, the lost boys have been taunting the pirates for hours. Surrounding them but always out of reach.
Riku uses the element of surprise - he dashes suddenly left - into the thick of trees.
Success.
He catches a small group of the lost boys red- handed, their latest ‘pirate trap’ half assembled in the middle of their huddle.
They look up at Riku in fear.
Despite Riku being a teen himself, he’s awfully intimidating to the other youths - looming over them with a harsh glare.
Except, now he’s even scarier - his cold stare has changed into a devious smirk.
With his black long pirate boots, black slacks, low-cut cream shirt flowing and his crimson pirate overcoat - Riku has never looked more like a pirate than in this moment.
The lost boys were quivering with fear.
‘Stay back! I’m warning you!’ One of them cried.
Another picked up a wooden sword, poised to defend.
Riku’s wicked grin widened, he was finally enjoying this mission.
‘Well, well, well. I’ve finally caught up to you. Not so funny now I’ve got past your traps.’
As he was talking, one lost boy glanced to the floor. Riku was too smug to notice.
Riku pulled out his muddy sabre.
‘I’m going to give you a chance, hand over a fairy - just one, and I won’t have to use this.’
The sword glinted in the afternoon sun.
‘We’ll never surrender to a pirate!’ The boys jeered, hollering together in solidarity.
Riku’s glare returned, he went to dash forward to grab one of them -
The lost boys suddenly lost their look of fear, and started to grin.
Riku noticed a second too late -
And plummeted through the floor.
——-
Next thing he knows, he’s tied to a chair, blindfolded.
‘Take this thing off me! I swear I’m gonna tear you guys apart when I break free!’
Riku thrashes angrily for a long while before he tries to take note of his surroundings.
He can’t see because of the blindfold, but something is off.
It’s too quiet.
No giggling, no distant whispers of plotting.
Even the forest itself sounded muted.
Without hearing anything - Riku felt something on his chest.
It took him a moment, but he realised it was a hand.
The hand was slowly, gently, placed right next to his heart. Because his shirt had a few buttons undone, he could feel some of the hand’s fingers directly on his toned chest.
The hand curled in his chest, clutching at the buttons on his shirt.
Riku stilled -
‘Have you calmed down yet?’
Sora.
Riku couldn’t breath.
He hadn’t seen or heard from sora in over a year.
Riku had been striving to be a better pirate and a better man, partially for his own sense of worth - but also to avoid thinking of sora.
‘Cat got your tongue?’ Sora laughed.
‘Let me go’
‘Hmmm, or what?’ Another soft laugh,
‘I like you like this, much easier to manage - are you done being a pirate yet?’
Riku was filled with anger, he’s been spending every moment to be the best pirate - the last person he wanted to be belittled by is sora.
‘You can’t stop me Sora! I’m finally where I’m supposed to be! And as soon as I break free I’m going to show you how much of a pirate I really am.’
If there were any lingering lost boys around, they would have quickly scattered hearing those words.
‘You’re SUPPOSED to be with your friends, riku.’
‘I don’t need friends’
‘From where I’m standing, looks like you need some’
Riku grimaced, he was sat, tied, blindfolded and covered in mud.
‘Do you know what would make you feel better?’
Riku just thrashed around in response, testing to see the strength of the ropes.
‘… a thimble’
Silence.
Riku furrowed his brows, he didn’t know what a thimble was and he was to proud to ask.
‘It’s the most sought after thing on the island’
Riku’s ears peaked, something even more valuable than fairy dust?
‘Ever since that girl gave one to Peter, all the other lost boys have been begging her for one too - they don’t know I have one as well.
I used to see adults give each other thimbles all the time before coming to Neverland. Are you sure you don’t want to try it?’
Riku stopped to think.
Is this a trap? Would sora trick him? The other boys would in a heartbeat , but would sora do the same?
Could this be an olive branch? Was sora willing to give him the upper hand to help his social standing as a pirate?
‘Fine. I want one, but I swear, if this is a trick I’m gonna hunt you down and make you pay.’
Riku heard sora get closer.
Sora was perching on his lap!
‘Sora, what th-‘
Sora kissed him.
It was soft, silent and still. It wasn’t hot or passionate, but so obviously filled with love and longing.
Riku’s blush exploded from his toes up to his ears.
But he didn’t move, he didn’t want to.
His head was a mess of noise but also silent at the same time.
Before Riku’s consciousness caught up with him -
Sora had gone.
His blindfold fell onto his lap, someone had untied it.
There was now a pouch on the ground in front of him.
When he finally broke out of his constraints, he grabbed the pouch and opened it.
It was full of fairy dust, more than a fairy could make in a year.
Deep down in his mind, Riku wished he could exchange it for another thimble.
———
☔️thanks for reading.
I love this cross-over concept, it’s perfect for the adventure/ friend dynamic, longing and even friends to lovers.
I won’t probably be able to write a full fanfic but I’m willing to make small snippets like this if the ideas come.

As a feminist, I believe in equality. Women can be abusers and men can be victims. It's really that simple. Saying that a woman cannot be an abuser is not feminism, it is misandry.
Female abusers are NOT 'imperfect victims' anymore than men are. If you're an abuser you're an abuser. Full stop. Stop excusing abuse based on genitalia. It's wrong and it invalidates the victims of abuse.
I stand in support of women- and of every man. Men watching this trial with baited hope, men in tears bc their hopes of being recognized. Men who miss their children bc their Amber Heard falsely accused them. If you can't support them, you are the problem.

Writer!Yuu: So she is arranged to be married to the main guy but she hate him because she doesn't want to get married. She's afraid that her life will be tied to a man who will control her live even if it's unintentional. She wants a life of true freedom.
Malleus: So they get married and she realizes that her fear was invalid. Then they live happily ever after.
Writer!Yuu: Absolutely not. Don't be silly. She said he didn't want to get married, that's all that matters. Maybe people shouldn't assume they know better then her about what she wanted for her life. She also should be taken seriously instead of treated like stepford wife who will learn to love her situation because a man will love her.
Malleus: What happened?
Writer!Yuu: She runs away and becomes a pirate who fights mermaid poachers and finds the lost treasure to resurrect an ancient kingdom.
Malleus: No romance?
Writer!Yuu: She gets to smooch a mermaid warrior general who she lost an eye to.
Malleus:You are so talented! Tell me more!

Hey Martyn. Just now I was watching another content creator who said "most people who enjoy stuff enjoy it silently, and those who hate it, hate it loud." and so I just wanted to say you're easily my favourite minecraft youtuber, and most likely top 3 in content creation. I go back all the way to Kingdom of the Saplings, Jet Set Radio and the early jingle jam streams (before they were even called jingle jam); but as uni, early worklife and life in general became a thing I just lost track of the whole content creator scene at about the end of the Christmas ADVENTure. Then when my life got back on track I accidentally rediscovered you when you and Mumbo teamed up in Last Life and it's been a blast rediscovering the content you do; I'm hooked on the Life SMP (congrats on your Limited Life Win btw!), I was grinning at your first MC Championship win (Orange Ocelots!) and while my schedule means catching streams is difficult for me these days, I've been finding Pirates SMP an absolute hilarious blast. But it wasn't until that quote that I realised I never let you know how much fun it's been watching your content, so I genuinely want to let you know that you've been doing great and I hope you're proud of the work you do.
Feel free to cringe at being complimented if you want. I'm British too, I know how it feels.
They're absolutely right, it's not lost on any creator that lurkers make up the majority. It always feels more apparent when you stream, as there's never hundreds of people speaking at the same time, just a handful.
Thanks so much for the kind words, it's awesome to hear I can still make that enjoyment / connection with people a decade in!

In the live-action "One Piece" adaptation, there's a brief confrontation in which Cabaji says that Zoro chased him and his brother through the jungles of Goa Kingdom or something. Which made me think IMMEDIATELY about an AU in which Zoro and Luffy meet early, when Luffy is around 15 or so and Zoro is around 17, sometime shortly after Ace has set out on his own adventure and Luffy is on his own.
So, like, imagine Zoro being this 17yo bounty hunter who thinks he's hot shit, people are starting to call him "THE Demon of East Blue". He gets one Cabaji brother but the other escapes, leaving Zoro injured and alone in the jungle (similar to the side wound that Zoro gets at Orange Town in the manga). It's getting dark, he has a corpse to drag back to a Marine base somewhere back in Goa Kingdom, and there are beasts here. He thinks he can see a tiger, stalking him in the bush.
And then some 15yo in a straw hat and shorts bounces out of the trees going, "WHOOOOOAAAAA, you're SO cool! I was watching your fight! You're amazing! You should join my pirate crew!" Like... what? (If there was a tiger, the tiger has fucking RUN FOR IT. It doesn't want to be EATEN.)
So, Luffy drags Zoro back to Dadan's place for medical aid ("YOU BROUGHT A BOUNTY HUNTER INTO MY HOUSE?!" Dadan yells, while her guys patch up this kid anyway) and politely introduces Zoro to Makino ("I'm not going to be your first mate, don't introduce me that way," Zoro says for the tenth time already). And Zoro ends up being convinced to stick around Dawn Island and Foosha Village to train for a month (and also to heal, but that's less persuasive), with Luffy following him around like a starry-eyed puppy the entire time, unless he's dragging Zoro off to fight beasts and each other in the jungle. Kicking the shit out of each other is a sign of FRIENDSHIP.
Seeing Luffy's burgeoning fighting skills is enough to make Zoro go, "Maybe this kid is alright," and hearing Luffy talk about dreams is the beginning of Zoro's doom. But he's not going to sign up until Luffy is more impressive! If Luffy wants him for his crew, he has to come find Zoro when he sets out on his own adventure. And Luffy agrees this is reasonable even if he's going to miss his new best friend sooooo badly.
Now, I'm a Zolu fan (ace-spectrum Luffy), so I like to imagine Zoro and Luffy having a really dorky teenage romance between future monsters here. If only because when Luffy and Nami bust into Captain Morgan's Marine Base, Luffy can go (after 2 years of having Makino keep track of Zoro in the newspapers), "Oh, my boyfriend is here!!! 😃 I wonder how much stronger he's gotten? I need to impress him so that he'll join my pirate crew!!!" And Nami and Koby can be like, "What the FUCK are you talking about?! The PIRATE HUNTER?! The demon who kills pirates?!" Luffy: "Yeah! ❤️"
Even better if Luffy has already gone to a couple different islands (with or without Koby), loudly going, "I'm going to be King of the Pirates! And also, HAS ANYONE SEEN MY BOYFRIEND?! He has green hair and three swords and he gets lost really easily!" Or maybe Luffy was just shouting this on Alvida's ship and around the town under Morgan's control? It doesn't really matter. It just has to be loud enough that Garp finally catches wind of this situation.

do you guys want to hear about my sanji's siblings love him au?
who am i kidding, of course you do
anyways
ichiji, niji, and yonji run on facts and logic. they're programmed to have loyalty to their family, and sanji is part of that family, even if he can't do everything they can do.
and the way they see it, it just makes more sense for their loyalty to lie with the brother they shared a womb with for nine months over the father that insists on abusing all of them.
it's not sanji's fault that he's weak and has emotions. that's an objective fact. he was born the way he was. it could just as easily have been any of the rest of them that were different.
so sure, they'll follow judge's orders, because they have to, because it's what they were born to do, but they're not gonna take any of the shitty things people do or say about their brother, least of all their father
sora adores her children. because judge hurt them terribly by taking away their free will, but that's none of their fault, and they're trying in the only way they know how. she's patient with them, trying to teach them about morality and the importance of doing the right thing
at their age, they don't really understand it, but they do notice that people are more likely to do what they want with little fuss if they treat them the way their mom says they should
but then their mom dies, and maybe the loss of his wife is what pushes judge over the edge but he lashes out at sanji, because somehow in his mind sanji is the reason for sora's death. if it weren't for the poison she had taken, which had turned sanji into the weakling that he was, sora would still be alive
ichiji and the other two are furious. they hate this empire that their father has built for himself - and that little fact, that they can hate it at all - goes unnoticed by all of the kids
but they do hate it, and with their mother gone there's no reason for them to stay. so they take sanji, and they take reiju, and the five kids escape from the Germa kingdom and never look back
they work whatever odd jobs they can. and then one day they come across zeff - after he had been rescued from the island he was stranded on for months
and this zeff still has both legs and he didn't suffer as much because he didn't have a child to give up all his food for, but he still decides to give up pirating. he lost his entire crew in that storm, and he has no desire to sail the seas without them
so he had set out to fulfill his dream of building a floating restaurant for himself. he's living on an island in the east blue, and he comes across these five children. one of them, sanji, latches onto him as soon as he finds out that he's a chef. slowly, over the months, their relationship develops and grows stronger.
zeff isn't an idiot, he knows there's something wrong with these kids, but he doesn't pay it much mind. he treats them like any other children, with all the kicking and scolding that entails
normally ichiji and the others wouldn't put up with this kind of treatment from anyone, but they see the way sanji and reiju latch onto zeff, the way the two of them follow him like lost puppies and positively preen at any positive attention he gives them, and they decide they'll put up with it.
it's not like the crappy geezer's kicks actually hurt the three of them
so zeff takes reiju and the boys in, even if it means that food will be a little tight until their restaurant gets off the ground.
the 5 of them grow up on the baratie, protecting their home and surrounded by the gruffly affectionate cooks that are drawn to their father's way of life. it's so different from the environment that they had been born into that they don't know what to think. sanji and reiju take to their new life like fish to water, but it takes a little longer for the boys
yonji respects sanji like he respects his other older brothers. he watches sanji, sees the way he loves and hurts and grows. the intensity of the things sanji feels is completely foreign to yonji, but it stirs an unknown feeling in yonji's heart. he doesn't know what it is, but it makes him short-tempered with his brother
by now zeff has been around his kids for a while, and he's more or less figured out what's up. yonji learns from zeff that what he's feeling is jealousy. that he wants something sanji has that he doesn't
which should be impossible.
yonji doesn't feel things.
zeff shrugs and doesn't argue. he just leaves his kid to figure things out on his own.
after that, it happens slowly, so very slowly, but over time, ichiji, niji, and yonji start feeling more and more emotions. their emotions are still pretty dull in comparison to the frightening intensity of what sanji, reiju, and other people feel, but they cherish this new aspect of themselves.
and it turns out that sanji hadn't been the only one affected by their mother's desperate attempt to save her babies. the others had as well. it had just taken a little more work to draw their humanity out of them
by the time don krieg makes the ill-fated decision to attack the baratie, they still don't have the depth of emotion that other humans do. and maybe they never will. but they have enough to know that they will destroy anyone who even thinks of threatening their father's treasure
and they have enough to shed tears when their brother - a piece of their hearts - sets off with the future king of the pirates
it hurts, to have him leave them. and that hurt is something they wouldn't have had to feel if they had remained the way they were as children
but even that hurt is precious to them
because it's a product of how far they've come, and how much they've gained

In one timeline, Zelda cries. She spends her late teenage years and young adulthood sobbing, emotionally a widow by the design of her own plans. She spends years heartbroken and mourning the Hero she loved and sent away in hopes of restoring the childhood stolen from him.
In another timeline, Zelda is confused. She thought the fairy boy who helped her save her kingdom was her friend, and that he would always be there to play with her. She spends her entire youth wondering why her Hero is so haunted, and why he can't look at her without seeming like he's about to cry.
In both timelines, the kingdom needs a Prince-Consort and an heir, not just a young Queen pining over a boy from the forest, so she agrees to an arranged marriage. She marries a man she does not love, and bears a child, and tries to be the best Queen that she possibly can.
In one timeline, her love and loss are not a secret, it becomes a common saying that the rains beginning to flood the land are a reflection of the tears their Queen sheds for her long lost love.
In another timeline, she pines silently for her Hero, simply watching in heartbreak as his inner demons drive him mad until he is merely a shade of his former self and disappears.
In both timelines, her heir grows, marries, and has a daughter of their own.
In one timeline, this princess - not the Sacred Princess but one of the sacred line nonetheless - grows up with stories of her grandmother's life as a Sheikah and the Hero she loved and lost. She grows up with stories of how when you fall in love, you should hold on tight, never let it go, and never waste a moment with them. As the flood waters rise, she swears she won't make the same mistake as her grandmother made. She won't let a second with her love be wasted, so she runs away from the palace, following the sailor she loves out to sea.
In another timeline, that same princess grows up with firm and unwavering expectations of what her royal duty is and how exactly she is expected to see that through. She grows up with a grandmother who married for duty despite her love being right there, knowing that she too is to marry an appropriate suitor when she comes of age. It never even crosses her mind that she could have fought to be with her love.
In both timelines, this princess bears the next Sacred Princess.
In one timeline, the next Zelda is born free as the waves beneath her. Her name is Zelda as her mother couldn't bear to break that far with tradition, but such isn't a name fitting for a pirate, so her middle name is all she ever knows. She grows up free and feral, sunkissed and smirking, allowed to be wild and go wherever the wind takes her.
In another timeline, the next Zelda is born as the sun begins to set over Hyrule. She grows up sheltered in a palace of rules and expectations. She learns to hide both smiles and tears, nevermind any improper impulses that might cross her mind. She grows up as a proper princess, internally screaming for anything more than the darkness around her.
In both timelines, Zelda finds her Hero. She finds Link, or rather he finds her, and they don't let go this time. In this lifetime they will get their happy ending, together, and they will fight anyone who tries to take it away from them.
(Aka: my brain realized that both TP and WW are next lifetime direct sequels to OoT. And now all I can think is that TP Zelda got ALL the anxiety in the timeline split, and that if Tetra ever met Midna they would get along like a house fire in that there would be no survivors)
