Look I vibed with some of SJM's stuff when I was younger and so that and specifically a few of her characters have a special place in my heart.
And I guess that's why it feels so sucky that Rhysand is such a key player in all three of her book series it seems.
Yeah he's the main love interest in ACOTAR and that's fine. He's meant to play a big role there. High lord and all that. Fine.
But he's the one who saves Aelin when she's falling through the world's? He's the one who gets name dropped when Bryce gets to prythian? No doubt he's gonna play a major part in the next book.
But bestie you wrote 3 books series with woman as your MC and Rhysand is the one that has weight in all of those books.
Feyre is reduced to a pregnant female when Aelin sees her, and Rhys is the one reaching his power out despite not being the MC of that world and again, feyre is just a pretty female when Bryce sees her for the first time. And feyre is happy for Rhys to introduce himself and not the both of them. Again he's not the main character of that series
It's honestly just gross that this sad man has so much importance to Sarah he is actually forms part of the plot in her other series
Urgh whatever

I love how these two don't give a flying fuck about their own safety but when it's about the safety of their best friend? Their childhood buddy? Their good-time pal?? Their brother in arms?!
You better goddamn believe they'll take that seriously.
Dick's all 'oh a bunch of assassins and mob bosses are after me and I'm injured but it's fine, I got this handled-' and Wally already has the man tucked into the pullout couch bed at his house before he's finished the sentence.
Wally's all 'okay so I know that the future version of me is dead on the floor and I'm supposed to die after fighting a fire BUT I can't not help if there are people who need me, so I'll just fight this forest fire and-' Meanwhile Dick already has 60 tranq darts locked and loaded and the floor lined with anti gravity beams.

one of my favorite ways to look at zolu is nicely captured by that one line toki says to oden during the wano flashbacks, being around you makes me feel like I've already reached my destination. despite lacking the specific backstory and romantic intent toki/oden were written with in canon, yeah, it's still such a lovely sentiment. not in the context of luffy and zoro's dreams per se, because they haven't fulfilled those yet - more in a true north kinda way. zoro left shimotsuki village in search for mihawk but due to his comically terrible sense of direction, he lost his way back and ended up resorting to bounty hunting as a means to survive. on the other hand, luffy set out from his home village to start his journey as a pirate but mostly drifted around since he lacked any sort of navigation skills. koby insists that he find a navigator first after they meet... but it's zoro he seeks and finds instead. then their adventure truly starts, gathering those who'd become their friends and family, who'd become crucial to achieving their dreams, along the way.

Speedforce's Father
Clockwork had been around a long time. The Observants may have taken control of his actions due to his idiocy in his youth, but the truth is that he had lived through a lot. He had existed since the beginning, always present.
Unfortunately, he wasn't as indifferent as he pretended to be, a lesson he had to learn over time was to tune out most of the things. His first years, Clockwork became very attached to humanity, mourning their destruction, and trying to guide them on the best path, but it always ended the same way: Destroyed, restarted.
He tried everything he could but couldn't do anything. Then, the universe gave him a gift (or mocked him, the Ancient wasn't entirely sure) and from the restarts he hated so much his son was born: Speedforce.
Speedforce was very different from himself, he played with the rules of time, he chose humans to love. And even broke universal laws for them. Of course, as punishment, he was not allowed to interact with his chosen ones, destined to be nothing more than a "concept" in their heads. Clockwork did not envy the fate of his son.
Speedforce was a rebellious child, full of joy and arguments, because of that they often argued, but Clockwork could never reprimand him for his actions. Speedforce preferred to spend time in his own domain on his favorite universe than in the Realms and that was fine.
After some time, Clockwork became attached to the future Ghost King, and adopted Danny as his son. He forced the Halfa to accompany him on "a picnic" in the DC Universe. He even disguised himself as a human. It was time for his children to meet. Although had to find the "Flash Family" first, and break their world, a fun journey indeed.
Clockwork just hoped that Speedforce would take the news well.

Headcanon #500:
Mind is afraid that when he distances himself from or above the others, that he will be too far gone to come back down. That when his paranoia gets the best of him, he'll shut everyone else out and then be completely alone with no way back to where he was before.
Heart is afraid that if Mind is right, with the idea that what he does isn't genuine, that he's being manipulative without realizing it. Then therefore being Whole without himself there is the better option. That he'd be thrown out because his ideas would then be "not worth it" or even "vile"
Soul is afraid that no matter what he does or how good things will be, they'll always eventually split up again or even end up worse. Even then he has no clue what he's supposed to do or be during everything, and so because of that he'll never be whole. Or worse that he'll never really "feel" whole.

i think mike and will regularly kissed on the lips when they were little kids, not realizing it wasn't something platonic friends did. and then nancy saw them do it and she was like ?? you guys are so weird lol. and then they got sad and didn't do it anymore bc they didn't know it was Weird :( and nancy would try to gently explain that it's only supposed to be with someone you like like and at this point mike bursts into tears because he is now finding out that he's not supposed to kiss will or like like him, and will gives him a hug to comfort him and tells him it's okay they can still be best friends who don't kiss. and nancy is like ?? you mean normal best friends.

i like think about machete's death as a culmination of his paranoia and eventual cruelty and vasco as the single ray of light loving him up through the end. even through as terrible as he becomes, the thought of vasco's heart being with him even as he chokes on his own blood as the one thing that he could hold on to. what is it to love something you know is vile, and to mourn their loss regardless. i could drink the tragedy like wine

something something, visited by three spirits that push you to reinvent yourself
and meanwhile, the three mother-type figures in Adora's life were all key to her to figuring out what she really wanted and who she wanted to be but literally...
Light Hope "died" trying to right a wrong from the PAST
Queen Angella died trying to preserve Adora's PRESENT
and Shadow Weaver died to give Adora a chance at a FUTURE
