she even managed with her own crafting powers (and your probably editing the game code or smth) she somehow makes a reinforced glider with a small harness on the back for you to glide with her

(Venti has definitely helped for some fun flights by boosting the winds for you two)

SPEAKING OF BARBATOS

ur absolutely spoiled rotten by him (and Dvalin, and Andrius, and the wind sprites)

if this god had money he’d spend it on wine and you lol

takes u flying all the time, any time, would drop everything to go to Mondstadt wilds and use his archon form wings to take you wherever you wanna go

tries to bring u to Angel’s Share but Diluc nearly hits him on the head with a wine bottle and brings you back home after kicking Venti out and giving you grape juice (yes you get all you want, within a healthy amount)

anyway the most important part abt you being a god and child is that you can now fulfill your childhood dreams of riding a dragon whenever you want

(one way to quickly get Mondstadt citizens to trust Dvalin again was just constantly seeing him flying overhead, occasionally seeing a small child on his back also helped lol)

(neither you nor Venti tell Jean you ride Dvalin and keep it an active secret from her.)

May I ask for some jealous headcannons for law, croc and zoro with bimbo s/o (hopefully I said that right :) how ppl find them really pretty and give them free things all the time (flowers,books,food) when their shopping together (*´∀｀)

a/n: haiii, this concept really interested me - it is however stated in my rules that i don't typically write fem reader as mentioned though, i did like the idea so i wrote it through a masc pov instead (。・・)ノ

with a partner who receives a lot of gifts (Law, Crocodile, Zoro)

Law

Oh such a pity he'd fallen for a man so pretty

They aren't particularly fond of it but if this is the price to pay for having you by his side, so be it, but more importantly - mansplain, manipulate, malewife those pockets dry, darlin'

It was cute at first, to see them subtly pout and bristle whenever someone approached you with flowers, offers for drinks, or hawkers giving you an excess of free samples whenever the two of you passed by their stalls; it made you feel special, desired

However, the moment a lightbulb went off underneath your captain's scheming little mushroom hat, the fun slowly but surely started to dwindle; you knew something was up immediately when Law flashed you that crooked smirk, an expression you were more than familiar with, eyes shaded by the brim of their hat

It goes without saying that Law loves and does want to treat their boyfriend whenever possible, but he's also a bit of a cheapskate and if other people want to fill the role of spoiling you while he gets to sit back on full pockets well then that's just a win-win, even going so far as to encourage you to accept these gifts, too

Of course, when you give them a look and pinch their cheek after a the third or forth occasion, Law lets out a long-suffering sigh and hooks an arm around your waist - staking his claim, if you will - glaring off would-be Casanovas vying for your attention and paying for his boyfriend's meal with his own damn wallet (your turn to pick up the tab next time though, as per usual)

You will, however, still snag free food when possible for the both of you; if luck was on his side, Law would get to share spoonful's of ice cream with you between intimate glances and kisses in your personal bubble - all while he smugly watched those Romeos and their roses wilt as Law claimed you all for his own

Crocodile

Grown, malding ass man

You don't hear much of Crocodile's annoyance outwardly but it's clear in the way he gives you the cold shoulder and attempts to wins your affections back later with presents - gifts to your liking

Pretty much the only thing he can guarantee to provide you with his immense government-backed warlord wealth; but now some schmuck on the street thinks they can do him one better with their petty flowers and chocolates? Preposterous

Crocodile would give you entire libraries, spiral staircase to a comfy lair underground and all, if you just asked - he'd make you work tirelessly for this favor and hold it over your head at most opportunities, sure, but point is you'd still be getting it

The foolish shows of their affections through material goods was one thing, but what made Crocodile's blood singe with anger the most was those sweet-talkers; insipid little assholes trying to steal your love attention away from him with bullshit poems, flirty lines from a cheesy pick-up book that somehow has the gall to make you laugh at times from their charmingly awkward delivery

Pre-Strawhats and his dethroning, Crocodile had more than enough manpower and influence to simply make these people go away, vanished into the night, never to be seen again - you had half a mind of what was going on, noticing a handful of locals disappearing from your usual hangouts, but Mr. 0 was somewhat of a mansplain manipulator sweet-talker himself and surrounded by the luxury that you were, paid little mind to the semantics of these things

Post-timeskip, however, after both of you have had time to acclimate to the rough life on the sea again and shake off the lethargy from living in such comfort things are a little different

Crocodile has, surprisingly, mellowed out a little; ie he simply doesn't have time to be that ass mad about someone attempting to shoot their shot with a gorgeous man with the pursuit of infamy and power once again in his main sights - but the open knowledge that you are his man being out there yet these fools still try to push their luck does roil his stomach at times

Old habits and whatnot, no hard feelings 💕

Zoro

Honestly? He didn't pay much mind to it, not that it'd bother Zoro much if he did, though

People think his partner's hot? Fuck yeah, that just means Zoro scored with a smoke show before anyone else could and he's extremely proud of that fact

Zoro can ignore the stragglers trying to woo you with sweet words and free food is an added bonus because he knows he's free to steal bites off your plate, even though Sanji yells at you two about spoiling your meals

He knows you're fully capable of turning down some wise-guy ballsy enough to think they'd be good enough to be your potential suitor so until it's indicated otherwise, he's perfectly comfortable taking a load off on one of the benches while you leave your shopping bags with him to guard

What does make Mr. Demon of the East Blue a little antsy, though, is how physical some of these folks can get - yes, you're an adult man and a pirate at that, but the way certain people sidle up to you made the hairs on his neck stand on end and, had Zoro been more 'beastly' like his rumors implied, bare his fangs

A woman makes herself a little too comfortable on your arm, a man puts his around your shoulder in that cheesy yawning motion everyone's seen a hundred times, Zoro's immediately to his feet and grouchily saying that you have to leave with him now

It's adorable to see him getting so worked up, the ardent scowl on his face not just your marimo's resting expression and instead an active show of his irritation - you laugh it off later, easing Zoro's embarrassed flush with gentle coos while he reassures himself by running callous hands down the strong muscles of your back

there's been a rise in appreciating '12 feral leo and i just want to say, you all have to get into idw right fucking now. the 2012 series was HUGELY inspired by early idw issues, taking many MANY elements from it. (like a lot. enough for '12 to be considered a kind of lowkey inconsistent idw adaptation) and i am telling you, as a certified hamato leonardo expert that his characterization in idw is just. INSANE. this is getting way longer than originally intended when i just wanted to show just how unhinged he is.

( just a few selected moments for a little taste i don't want to spoil anything for ppl who plan to read idw)

this. this one is just UP there in my "top leo moments across the tmntverse" like the entire thing. the build up to this moment in the entire chapter really helps with it, but like just these two single frames. how other than his lil bro everybody is losing their shit. the qoute??? talk about fucking RAW. like just look at this.

this one is another favorite that unfortunately needs prior knowledge to make it really stick but just enjoy the absolute batshit, feral behavior of leonardo brutally making the bird mutant essentially flightless.

there are plenty more moments of hinged leo behavior in idw but just overall. he's sooo good in idw okay he's a great brother and really amps up the parent behavior and i may have talked about only him, but idw has great angst for donnie raph and mikey too (like. GREAT) flawless raph and mikey character building, a fresh reincarnation plot, MOM TANG SHEN, lowkey bad parent splinter, jenny and the foot leo plot everyone alr knows, interesting mutant characters, saki has a sexy kitsune wife, gods exists and idk man it's just an amazing tmnt run go read it. (and then come talk shit about the +100 chapters with me bc they mostly suck </3)

elvis was busy today and you knew better than to bother him while he was working. however, you were feeling small but you didn’t want to be a burden to him. he’d said numerous times to come to him even if he was working and you were feeling fuzzy, but you still always felt bad.

maybe it was past trauma, even the way you were raised. it was always a struggle having to ask for something no matter how dire the situation was. you shut everyone off and that included while you were little. elvis was wonderful with you, he took care of you well and always loved to spoil his little baby. he just wished you weren’t closed off from him when it came to being little. but he understands and never pushed your boundaries.

you shut the bedroom door quietly, listening for elvis and hearing his faint voice downstairs on the phone. letting out a sigh, you tiptoed down the steps and into the kitchen. all you wanted was a pb&j, you could do it. it was just a few simple ingredients and you could get yourself big enough to make it yourself.

one thing about elvis, he knew how you loved to feel small. there was a clear height difference between the two of you so he purposely put all your little plates and cups up higher on the shelf so he could get them for you. although, he did love to pick you up and let you grab them yourself.

as you got on your step stool, reaching for one of your plates, your arm bumped into one of the wine glasses a couple shelves down, causing it to bounce off the edge of the counter and shatter on the floor. you gasped, looking down at the mess and quickly glancing at the hallway.

“.....right–listen charlie, imma have to call ya back. just heard somethin' in the kitchen….yea, sure. a ghost. listen, don't forget those songs i asked about. i mean it!”

you panicked, shutting the cabinet door immediately and getting yourself on the floor to start picking up the tiny shards of glass. “no cartoons before bed….” you muttered to yourself, doing your best to pick up each shard. “daddy’s gonna be real upset…”

“oh baby, what–” elvis turned a corner, seeing you on the floor. “now, what are ya doin’? get up from there!”

“b-but i was just-”

“nuh-uh. get up.” your bottom lip wobbled as you stood up, careful not to touch the glass. “step away from the glass. you don’t need to be touchin’ it and gettin’ your tiny lil’ hands all cut up.”

you backed away slowly as he stepped in, sweeping up the glass. but it was your fault, you broke the glass. it was your responsibility to clean it up. back on your hands and knees as he tossed some of it in the trash with his back turned, he looked at you again. “honey, what did i say? stop touchin’ it.” he said, sternly.

again, you stood up, only to pick up a shard that landed somewhere away from the original pile. “dammit, y/n. stand still, stay away from the glass.”

“but it was my fault.” you replied.

“that don't mean nothin' to me. just stand there and don't move, do as i say.” there was a hint of annoyance to his tone this time as he cleaned up the rest of the glass, letting out a sigh. least it was just a wine glass, he could replace it later.

“....no plushies either…don't deserve ‘em” you mumbled again, “told you daddy would be mad..” you sniffled and crossed your arms, fighting back your tears.

he turned around quickly, his expression softening. “what's this about no plushies?”

“made daddy mad…” you looked down, refusing to look him in the eyes. once again, disappointing someone you loved dearly even if you didn't mean to.

elvis furrowed his brows, “you didn't make me mad.” he tipped your head up with the tip of his finger, getting you to look at him. “no honey, i just didn’t want you gettin’ hurt. that's all. not mad at all. you ain’t hurt, are ya?”

you shook your head, tears fully falling down your cheeks.

“oh, my baby.” he pulled you into a hug, wrapping his arms around your entire body. “my sweet, sweet baby.” he cooed.

“‘m sorry, daddy. so sorry, i didn’t mean to do it.” you sobbed into his shoulder.

he felt his heart shatter, just feeling himself wanting to protect you from the rest of the world. “i know you didn’t, sweetheart. i know.” he pulled away from you, holding both of your hands tightly. “listen–it was an accident, right? nobody got hurt, we’re both still standin’ here in one piece. don't go punishing yourself for somethin’ you didn't mean to do.”

letting out a small whine, “i did a bad thing though.” you said with a quick stomp.

“a bad thing that you didn't mean to do. that glass can be replaced.” he frowned. “you didn't break any rules, you don't need to be punished for breakin’ something when you didn't mean to.”

it was confusing to you how nice elvis was about the whole ordeal. it almost brought you some form of comfort knowing he wasn't mad. if it were anyone else, they'd be mad. you'd be punished. you hated being punished but felt like you deserved it sometimes. but elvis had a point, maybe you didn't deserve to be punished for small things.

“i-i can sleep wit’ my bunny?” you asked softly.

elvis hated that you had to even ask that question. “of course, i’d never take away your plushies. you know that.”

“and…and..cartoons?”

he chuckled, “you can watch your cartoons before bed too.”

you wrapped your arms around his neck, hugging him. “thank you, daddy.”

Hi! I was scrolling through your separated au tag and from what I understood, you don't want people writing fan content for it that isn't completely 100% accurate to the original AU? As in, you don't want people to write anything speculating about what could happen, and you don't want people to write anything romance for them, because you already planned canon relationships for the AU? Is that accurate, or did I misunderstand?

Yes. This is correct for the most part :)

I do wanna say, I’m fine with speculation to a point. Hell, I’m even kind of changing events from what I’ve said in replies the more i think on things. The comic is final canon say so, but looking back at replies and then my plans, things need some adjusting. So if anybody wants to like plug the AU boys into a fun episode to see how it would be different, or make something with them just hanging out being bros I’m fine with it, even if it might not be accurate.

I totally get that a few pages a week and the replies I’ve answered so far don’t really make for a lot to go off of (at least not as much as a whole fanfic would), and if people wanna play with my little AU then I have a hard time saying no! I just ask ppl to wait to speculate on the events of their pasts, and their reunions because I’ve gotten some pretty good guesses from ppl in my inbox so far for things I’ve got planned, and I don’t want anything spoiled.

As far as romance. I have a pretty solid plan for Leo, Raph, and April—Mikey and Donnie not so much. So yes I’d like people to hold off on that front, if that’s okay. Because for them, the relationships I have planned will be heavily tied to the plots I have for after the boys are all reunited.

I hate to do this but I don’t wanna give too much away so…🤐 but it will be one of the main focuses of Donnie’s healing.

And I’m sorry, no. There will be no Apritello. I have plans to pair April with someone else (who’s just as chaotic crazy as Donnie 🏒 I guess I’m okay with spoiling that lol), and April and Donnie will eventually just have a brother/sister dynamic.

guys how are we feeling? in pain, devastated, or screaming crying throwing up, what's the consensus here? spoilers for ep 11 under the cut (and minor spoiler for manga)

first things first, my theory from the last week is proven wrong. still don't know what the red plants were for (safekeeping? protecting from the last run?), but nai ain't gonna exploit them to "fix" vash. instead he EXPLOITS HIM AND SUBJECTS TO MENTAL TURTURE AND WIPES HIS MEMORIES CLEAN TO ACCES A HIGHER DIMENSION and create more independent babies ig

(yep the plant mpreg moment is sure a thing... for the next week, get ready for mass abortion)

finally, a gate that's an actual GATE. I think the plants lore was pretty self explanatory, but I'm so happy we're getting it and it's much more comprehensive that the manga, even(and 98' anime basically didn't explain anything and I had to spoil myself through fandom wiki to understand who vash and knives were). like, it's changed A LOT but it's in the same lane

this knives is so capable, holy shit!! everyone was already joking that he would put kniveses of the past to shame, and it's so true... he knows what he wants and how he wants it done and when he just goes ahead and does it. what a giga chad, honestly

I'm a bit disappointed they didn't keep the manga version of knives pre-tessla (that was softer than vash and wanted humans to like him), but it's definetely better than the old anime. like, he's colder due to him being the stronger twin, but he's still playful and doesn't hate ppl. he kinda distrusts rem, but they fucked around out of curiosity rather than malice. also, and I can't be the only one who noticed, his file name said "kni"? mmm ok interesting I'll have to think about it

that probably was the sequence code knives was talking about in ep 8, he used it again for the great fall. I wonder what it said, had to be something important to rem that vash could guess. geranium? their birthday?

the tessla sequence was quite short, but DAMN. status: alive. after all they've done to her. they put her on ice in this condition so they can keep studying her later. and the twins made her come alive. I'm gonna be sick it's so much worse..... no comas or suicide attempts this time, but these kids were still traumatized as hell (vash looks worse, like he haven't slept or probably eaten in a couple of days)

it was a serious moment but when nai revealed he was reading THE BIBLE I can't ahajakahajajahah... like, NO WONDER HE STARTED A RELIGION omg... pls put that book down you've got the message wrong

and or birthday boy vash... oh babygirl I'm so sorry. when I said I wanted to see him going through this I didn't mean a literal mental torture gaslight dimension!!! like, it's SO crucial to his character to REMEMBER all the good and terrible things he went through.... to have it taken away while he can't do anything, even when he clings to the memories as hard as he can, knives still takes EVERYTHING away from him, until he's the only thing tying vash to this world.

again, any other knives could never! and even before tearing apart all those memories, he gaslights vash even further, saying that he did the fall for him (which is true) and so it's basically his fault (which is very much not true)... and this BREAKS him quite literally... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

on a brighter note, loved that goofy meryl & nico interaction, remember, when we could still laugh? now it seems like meryl is gonna manage to reach vash in his infinite soup of despair, and that breaks his gate?? I'm so thrilled for the finale it's not at all like I imagined already said this in my previous post, but the flowers are a consistent theme for stampede instead of angels and, like... it's just makes sense for a plant to be a plant, yk. also it's pretty. july is already being destroyed by the roots, I wonder if that's gonna be it or there'll be a big kaboom (in this case it would be hard for meryl to survive, but potentially vash could make a root cacoon to protect her)

also this ep gets bonus points for showing what's going on in the city with the police guys and civilians, 'cause usually stampede isn't great at background and side characters

now making theories about the (potential) second season. amnesia aspect is getting established rlly hard rn! the only question is whether vash gets to remember key moments (like rem, meryl, wolfwood) or if he only retains the vibes of "someone important who said I shoud protect ppl". because it's gonna be interesting if he forgets everyone completely and when nico and meryl (and milly, fingers crossed) eventially find him, he''s like "hi, have we met?"

oh, the POTENTIAL! I think he's gonna get his 98' characterization as super goofy, borderline annoying, because he just doesn't remember all the pain! at least, he doesn't remember the details and fills the blanks with astonishing amounts of cope. and when he's finally able to remember, oh boy, he's gonna crumble.......

how yn feels about all the hate jennie gets? especially considering that she’s on twitter, people fs wouldn’t shy away from tagging and dming her asking all kinds of stuff. jennie is very private about her family so does she tries to shield yn from this part of her life? like has yn ever appeared in one of her vlogs, gone to fashion week with her, accompanied her on tour, does she mentions yn or it’s more like blinks now she’s her sister but she doesn’t really mention her publicly and only post a pic tgtr once in a blue moon?

oh yn HATES all the shit ppl say abt her sister. there's def been times where yn is like stomping around in a circle abt to fight ppl on the internet, but her mother stops her and tells her jennie wouldn't want that.

and she's right. jennie doesn't want her sister involved with fighting some internet trolls. their mother taught both of them to be still and silent, even when people say the worst. especially bc it doesn't matter what anyone says, all they will see is how yn or jennie reacts.

as for blinks + yn:

blinks respect yn's private life a lot surprisingly. they're not like up her ass the way they are w jennie. they know yn is a student and respect her studies.

which thank god bc they clearly don't respect her sister's privacy lmao

part of it is honestly just bc there's nothing much to the girl if ykw i mean? yn isn't an idol, or in the ent industry at all. she's just a "normal girl" in the eyes of media, which sort of is a deterrent for people who would rather say smth abt her or her sister.

sometimes blinks will catch yn liking edits of her sister or funny clips of jennie bc they tag yn in them, but its never to the point where its invasive. they don't send her death threats or anything.

but overall, they really respect her younger sister's privacy a lot...thankfully.

now for the jennnie + yn interactions:

ofc jennie is very private abt her life, especially with her family. but with yn it's a little different.

jennie LOVES giving her sister everything in the world. she loves her that much. like instead of their non existent father being the one to spoil his daughters, jennie does it instead. the car yn drives? jennie bought it for her. her university tuition? jennie pays for it. anything yn needs or wants, jennie pays for it.

(this is why kazuha alw makes yn pay for everything...)

jennie actually has a separate black card for her sister to buy things with. the only contingency is that jennie has to see the receipts. she knows yn is an adult, but it's still her money, so she needs to know whatever her sister is doing with her money.

(this is why jennie doesn't like kazuha...bc she makes yn buy her things with HER money)

whenever jennie has the opportunity to bring someone with her to an event, she always takes her mother and her sister if allowed. jennie's would rather share her best moments with the people she loves instead of alone.

so there's been a few fashion weeks that yn has been to. and ofc chanel loves jennie's sister too, so yn gets to wear all the nice things as well.

paparazzi def loves photographing them together, both at and not at public events.

5. shannon. every time she does something I find compelling she does something irritating like right after but of course I'm a feminist and I'm working on it. she's had some really good scenes though like her and walt... ugh 😿

The door swung open with enough force to plow through the wall.

Or, that’s what Danny was imagining, at least. But despite the loud bang of the door, the scrambling feet, and overwhelming voices, the door stayed perfectly intact on its hinges.

“Aunt Alicia!” Jazz popped up from the couch. “Welcome!”

“Jazz!” Alicia stepped through the interior, her suitcase in hand. A green coat had been thrown over her overalls and plaid T-shirt, and she shed it as soon as she stepped through the threshold of the door.

Jazz hugged her. “Good to see you! You haven’t changed a bit!”

It was true. No matter how old Alicia got, she still wouldn’t be remiss without her red mullet and bulldog-like features.

“I can’t say the same about you!” Alicia said, slapping her hand on Jazz’s back. She pulled Jazz away, surveying her up and down with a grin. “Look at you, your hair’s so long now. And have you grown?”

“Not since I was like thirteen!” Jazz laughed.

Maddie peeked over their shoulders. “I can take your suitcase to the guest room.”

“Nonsense!” Alicia barked. “It hasn’t been that long since I’ve been here. I remember where it is just fine!”

“Don’t worry, Alicia,” Jack said, getting up from the couch. “Go catch up with the kids! I’ll bring your stuff upstairs.”

As usual, Alicia hesitated at Jack’s offer, looking him over as if he were three feet tall and made of fool’s gold.

“Thank you, Jack!” Maddie snatched the suitcase and coat from her sister’s arms and passed them off to Jack who quickly disappeared upstairs. She ushered Alicia into the living room with a, “Come, sit. It was a long flight. Would you like anything to drink? We have both red and white wine somewhere in the cabinets—oh, the white hasn’t been chilled.”

Danny sat rigid on the couch, the cushions suddenly feeling hard underneath him. His brain registered a vague pressure on his thighs, and he glanced down to see his hands gripping his legs. It was still strange to feel only pressure where his brain expected more, and he let his legs go. His arms fell awkwardly to his sides, and then he realized that Alicia was slow to sit down on the armchair, her eyes looking over him like he was some sort of alien at Area 51.

That wasn’t even a far comparison to make. He was the alien at Area 51. Only, instead of being located in the desert, Area 51 was his damn living room.

can you spoil a bit about the special ep? like is the ifylita special ep connected to the series, is it canon or completely separated timeline/what if 1927 yai and present jom had a happy ever after in modern times?

*BIG SPOILER AHEAD* I will put the spoiler about the special episode under read more so ppl who doesn't want to get spoiled won't need to read it :)

It is kinda seperated and kinda not. The Special Episode plays in the time where Jom went back to the present and Yai stayed in the past and before the finale happens in the series. So you are right anon, it has something to do with 1927 Yai and present Jom.

*BIG BIG SPOILER AHEAD* in the next lines I'm going to explain a bit what happened in the special episode. So don't read further if you don't want to know :)

Well after they wish to meet e/o while a big meteor shower happens, they wake up next to each other in the modern times in Jom's apartment. Yai needs a bit of adjustments because of all the technical stuff (one scene where Jom's vacuum robot goes off and Yai is in complete panic mode skdfhsfh). Anyway they spent the day with eo, going to the fair and having fun. While they played a game at the fair suddenly the lights went off and Yai was nowhere to be seen and all the clips Jom took with him were gone or more like Jom was seen in the videos but not Yai. Jom was screaming for him and when the lights went on again, we see Yai calling for Jom and a completely teary eyed Jom. They went back home and we see Yai looking at himself in the mirror and how he slowly fades away. They have a deep talk with e/o which is sealed with a kiss and the next morning Jom wakes up alone. His last lines were "I'll wait for you, Yai" or "I'm going to wait for you, Yai". (I can't quite remember but something similar). That was pretty much the special episode :)

Let's address some of this:

The CAST and audience have all picked up on the OBVIOUS tension that Will and Mike have in the show. Especially since season 4, as they tried to make it even more clearer.

If byler is happening, reminder that the cast or crew obviously aren't allowed to say so and spoil it, which is why I firmly believe it's happening as none of the cast have shut it down.

They really are a will they or won't they couple...

If people sense tension, it takes two to create the tension therefore Mike clearly has just as much chemistry with Will as Will does with him.

Now for this part, which I see in most media articles related to Byler,

Most people assume that Mike romantically loves El simply because he wanted to 'look for his girlfriend'. Firstly, wether he loves her like that or not, you'd obviously look for your girlfriend if she got taken away somewhere.

The monologue. I can bet you most ppl who think their relationship is sailing because of that, haven't re watched the show or season. When watching it the first time, you aren't focused on clues. it's easy to think he loves her but when you take a step back...

in the van scene he said the truth that it was SIMPLE DUMB LUCK that SUPERMAN landed on his doorstep. He doesn't believe in love at first sight. He said what he thought SHE wanted to hear.

Also I don't think many people really focused on how El's been reacting to Mike the entire season. She KNOWS he doesn't love her. He may have liked her like that but he sure doesn't love her.

Now most scenes where parralled to s2, so compare the monologues, Mike and Will where the only ones in shot on their one. With El, why did it show us not only Will's but Johnathons sad reactions to Mike saying I love you.

I get El was in physical pain from the veins tightening but she could still smile at that joke about the yellow tshirt. It took her looking at MAX to break loose, not hearing Mikes words. And I don't think most people in the fan base picked up on it, unless they went back and re watched.

i also agree with the lack of degradation but still corruption, he seems like the type to want to take care of his partner and ease them into being the perfect sexual partner for him. i can see him wanting a confident and successful partner in her own right, but being a bit jealous and possessive, he loves that she's all for him.

for the choking agenda..... inception yunho during tour was something else. and just yunho saying 'actually i get jealous easily' in this video...

anyways i'm fully delusional now and this is perfect fodder for my fics, thank you as always 💛

this is an excuse to go off about silent hill if youd like (im considering playing it)

(i let out the most devilish laugh upon reading this LOL)

my god i don't even know where to begin. i'll just talk about SH1 and SH2 bcuz 1. those are the two games im more familiar with (i've watched playthroughs of all games but it's been several years so my knowledge has rotted away lol) and 2. if i had to tell someone where to start playing, i'd say either SH1 or SH2, depending on how much you can tolerate old-school game jankiness (SH1 is definitely rough around the edges, but im enjoying it so far)

even though my SH posting has spoiled a lot of details, i'll try to avoid talking about the bigger spoilers here in case other ppl care about that

silent hill 1

(huge heads up: you can only control harry via tank controls. this is one of the major factors as to why a lot of players skip SH1 since tank controls are a very archaic way to control a character in a 3D space. but honestly with some time and practice, you'll learn to get used to it and maybe even appreciate the way how the game handles certain fixed camera angles to create a sense of unease)

SH1 is about a widowed father, harry mason, going on a quest to save his daughter, cheryl, after crashing the car off a cliff and into the town of silent hill, which is where cheryl wanted to go for a vacation. silent hill has been warped by a supernatural force and you must go through what's essentially a haunted version of the town and fight through monsters to find cheryl. idk how to explain more than that without spoiling the good parts, so just take my word that the reasoning behind the town's supernatural stuff is actually super tragic

there are multiple endings: good, good+, bad, bad+, and UFO. the endings are determined by which side quests you do (or lack of any side quests for the bad ending). you can only get the UFO ending after beating the game at least one time and playing on "new fear" (this is basically new game+), so if you don't have the time for that, you can just look it up on yt

silent hill 2

taking place after the events of SH1, SH2 is about a widowed man, james sunderland, who travels to silent hill after receiving a letter from his late wife, mary, where she tells him to meet her there. the place still has supernatural forces, but now it seems to be tailored to whoever is drawn to silent hill, as shown with the other characters featured in SH2. as james continues his search, both he and you gradually learn that there's something that james is repressing, and the town is trying to tear it out of him to make him face it head-on

idk if you know the ending of SH2 already, but in case you don't, the buildup to the big reveal is honestly pretty fucking insane (it's the one thing i wish i had no knowledge about so that i can truly play through the story blind), and it's why SH2 is usually regarded as the most popular in the series

again SH2 has multiple endings: leave, maria, in water, rebirth, dog, and UFO. instead of side quests, the first three endings are determined by certain actions you take throughout the game, they can either add or deduct points from an ending point system, and your final count will determine the ending. rebirth, dog, and UFO can only be unlocked after beating the game at least once and playing in new game+

EDIT: oh my god i forgot to mention something crucial, if you're gonna play SH2, do NOT play the HD collection version, it's just a straight up downgrade. get the enhanced edition for PC if your computer can handle it, or just emulate it for ps2
