Honest to god. This man would probably be the absolute best partner for someone with POTS. Whether he was there for your diagnosis or you already had it when you started dating, he wants to help and accommodate the best he can. Kyle would hate for you to feel isolated, trying to match and normalize your routine so you're not alone.

Definitely got you both massive water bottles, the ones that have at the very least sixty ounces. So you can keep drinking and sipping all day and stay hydrated. If you don't feel comfortable going out to a physical therapist? Kyle is researching ALL night how to do gentle therapy at home with you.

Taking care of you is second nature to him. He's constantly thinking about you. When he leaves for deployment he has small meals already prepped in the fridge for you, cleaned the whole house.. leaves sweet notes all over the place reminding you to drink water, get some electrolytes, cool off and get plenty of rest.

"I'll be home soon baby ~K"

"Don't forget to drink your water! Love you pretty girl ~K"

"Rest for me lovie, we'll be doing plenty of 'exercise' when I get back ;) ~K"

Prepared. That is what John is. He wants to be ready if you have a bad day, so he can pamper you as much as he physically can if he cannot immediately whisk away your pain. John definitely moves fast in a relationship, especially if he feels an immediate connection. You're telling him he can take care of you? Of course it's not that he likes that you struggle with the condition, but his love language is definitely acts of service.

" 's no trouble love, house feels empty when you aren't in it anyways. Might as well just stay full time."

You're moving in. He's installing a nice and sturdy shower bench, he's got snacks all around the house for you, he's mixing electrolyte powder in your water. John wants you to thrive more than anything, you're his girl, going to be his wife one day. He still wants you to feel and be independent, if you need he'll go with you to get a mobility aid so you can comfortably go out more.

He's set in his military ways so.. He's somewhat blunt with scheduling. Little reminders all day to drink your water with a kiss to your forehead. When you go out together, he's stashed some instant cold packs and little salt packets in your bag. John often lifts your hand to check your BPM tracker, once he's done he'll kiss your knuckles.

"Look at that darlin' .. Takin' care of yourself so well for me."

Johnny had quite the habit of being a bit lazy when home from deployment. But then you wandered into his life, he didn't know about your POTS at first. Just figured you also had a busy life and preferred nights in for dates. Then you got more serious in your relationship and opened up to him about your condition. It was an immediate flip of a switch, Johnny became your Johnny.

He wants you to be able to spend your energy doing the things you love, not the simple tasks, especially when he can take care of it. You practically gained a Scottish housewife. He'll shoo you softly away from the dishes, insisting you enjoy your hobbies or rest up so you two can have a nice day out. Laundry, cleaning, making the bed. Bathing you even though you're perfectly capable, definitely not to touch you and get a little handsy-

"I can take care of ye bonnie.. believe me tha more I do the more I fall for ye."

Would say the only somewhat struggle, is overheating at night. Cause you cannot tell me this man doesn't run hot like a heater. And he loves to love you, hold you, touch and feel you. But there's work arounds, a nice AC, and cooling blankets. Besides he sleeps like a rock so once he's out, if you get too hot you can give him a little push off you. Rarely he'll wake up and drawl out whines.

Ghost

Simon never thought of himself as a worrier. He's been through hell and back and not much phases him. But the first time he saw you faint nearly sent him to an early grave, threw whatever was in his hands to dart over to catch you. This was definitely before he really started to understand the seriousness of POTS. Now it's constantly on his mind, especially the moments in the day when he's not right there with you.

He doesn't want you to feel guilty about his panic, so he's pretty stoic and calm when face to face with you. Definitely goes in with you to every doctor's appointment now, asks questions, how he can help, what to do during your flare ups. You best believe he is taking everything your doctor suggests to heart. Buying you a BPM monitor, knowing Simon he'll probably figure a way to connect it to his phone. So even when he's not with you he knows a little about how you're doing. Statistically it's his most used app now. Once in a while you get a blunt-

"Go rest."

-text from Simon as soon as it gets too high for his liking.

Simon is very adamant that you take plenty of breaks throughout the day, if you're overexerting yourself he's right there with you. An arm winding around you, kissing the nape of your neck after gently brushing your hair aside.

"How you feelin' doll? Let's get you some water and we'll take a break for a while yeah? Put on that show you like and I'll take care of this.."

Your argument with Itachi was not really an argument. You'd been going on for about half an hour discussing your last mission and the fact that according to him, you'd put yourself in danger and he had only followed you because he had wanted to make sure nothing happened to you. You wanted to be taken seriously, for him to recognise that you weren't weak, but the truth was that you felt that way. The way Itachi spoke -calmly, rationally, with well-structured replies and retorts- made you spiral into self-doubt and you couldn't help but wonder if secretly, he thought the same things you did about yourself. If he too thought you were weak and a failure, that you couldn't do anything yourself, that you were reckless and couldn't control your emotions like he did.

'I am not attempting to be overbearing, but you have to understand that I would not be able to forgive myself if anything happened' he said calmly, standing in front of you, a few feet away. There was a painful lump in your throat, blocking your words before they could even form. Your chest was tight and heavy with something akin to asphyxiation, and breathing was becoming difficult. The back of your eyes burnt, and you tried, you tried so, so hard to hold back the tears, because it was stupid, you weren't even arguing, and you just couldn't speak, couldn't think-

You knew what you wanted to say, but you also knew that if you spoke, your voice would crack and you would start to sob. For nothing. For an argument where you thought you were right, but now you weren't so sure anymore. And what if he left you? If he thought you were childish for getting so emotional over nothing? Because Itachi was always so composed, so collected, he could always hide his emotions and his thoughts always transferred so well to his words.

You averted your eyes, taking a shaky breath and covering your face with your hair.

'What's up?' he asked all of a sudden, and your walls crumbled to dust, all the barriers you had erected falling over a few words that made you think that yes, of course he cared, and you couldn't take it.

You covered your mouth and nose with both hands, trying to swallow broken sobs and sawed breaths that tore through you like a thunderstorm.

'I- I'm weak, a failure, I always need people to save me- and I thought... I thought I could be something more- someone who could do something... but you think so too, don't you? You... you think I'm weak' you sobbed, your broken breaths short and ragged as you tried to take in air and nothing managed to pass through. It was as if you were drowning and taking in more and more water, filling your lungs with heaviness.

'My love, you need to breathe. Take a deep breath' he said, suddenly worried and at your side, and his tone and care made you cry even more, because he was there, and he cared about you, and you just couldn't hold back the dam from breaking. You fisted his shirt as he hugged you, soothing your back, telling you to try to breathe along with him, to just focus on his breathing.

'I have never once thought you to be weak or a failure. You are one of the strongest people I know'

'That's- not true. Look at me- I'm crying over nothing' you croaked, though your breath was starting to quell down, your sobs getting less frequent.

'Of course it's not nothing, my love. You are feeling strong emotions, and by shutting them down, you only make them more painful. I am so sorry I upset you. You can cry as much as you want. You are safe with me. Letting out your pain does not lessen your worth at all. It shows you are capable of such strong feelings. It's always better to feel than to not feel at all' he said, kissing the top of your head, cupping your face and looking into your tear-stained eyes.

'You are not weak. You are not a failure. I love you, and I want to protect you. But I never doubted your abilities. Not for one moment. So stop talking about yourself like that. I wish you could see yourself through my eyes' he said, his eyes sorrowful, the pad of his thumb wiping a tear from your cheek.

'You really think that?' you breathed, your tears now continuing to spill from your eyes silently as your breaths got quieter and deeper.

'I love you. I'm being truthful. Let's not argue about this anymore. Come here' he said, leading you to the sofa and lying down with you cradled between his legs. He started running his fingers through your hair, soothing you, warming the deep pain that had settled in your chest.

'I hate seeing you like that. But what I hate even more is seeing you bottle up your feelings in fear of my reaction. I could never think less of you for opening up with me. It's not a weakness. If anything, it shows what you are capable of handling every day. So let me bear the burden with you, my love'

Especially in regard to bluebloods again. How accepting would a MLM romance/ marriage be accepted in the family/ kingdom?

And if so. If MC and an RO were to adopt because I'm guessing that how we could have kids? Would we be able to name them our successor and how would they be accepted into the family especially not being blood related to MC? And how would the ROs feel about not having bio kids? Unless ofcourse surrogacy?

I know magic plays a major part in other IFs when same sex relationships are entailed so I'm not really applying that here. Where we can have bio kids through those means.

The Siji Empire, and by extension the 4 kingdoms, doesn't care about MLM/WLW/Queer relationships at all. By that I mean, it's normal and treated like any another relationship!

Your/MC's older sister actually, Luexia, is partnered with a woman, so they don't mind. I don't like using the term "girl/boyfriend" for this setting since it feels too modern, so everyone's a partner.

As for children, I'm actually going to make that a separate post from this one, so it doesn't get too long! ^^

Edit: I forgot to add, all of the ROs have varying opinions on children, which I'm willing to go more in depth about if you'd like. But they all wouldn't mind a non-biological child!

kita loves it when you stop by the gym during his practices. you usually show up when you finish schoolwork and club activities of your own to bring him and the rest of inarizaki’s volleyball team food and beverages. his team adores you for the kindness you show them and for taking care of their seemingly very serious and independent captain. you love to support kita’s passions and are there for every one of his games, always cheering and yelling words of encouragement that kita’s ears set apart from the rest of the noises in arenas and gyms. he’s not one to need motivational words--he’s confident in things he’s proven he can pull off--, but his heart still swells and his lips form a small small at your loving words that only make him more determined to do his best.

do not think for one second this is one-sided. kita has incorporated visiting your clubroom into his daily routines, whether to observe whatever it is you’re doing or to help you out however he’s capable of. he’s attentive to your hobbies and does his best to familiarize himself with them so he can support you in the best ways possible. you are his s/o after all; the things that matter to you matter to him too. kita admires the goals you’ve set for yourself and how persistent you are in achieving them, and he’s more than willing to help you out along the way, just the same as how you are with him.

kita’s priority will always be your health, both physical and mental. he likes to cook, and so sometimes he’ll give you healthy snacks he prepared himself at lunch with a treat for when you finish (because there's gotta be a balance). you two fill up each other's water bottles throughout the day because staying hydrated is also very important, and oh, don’t think you can get away with staying up on a school night because kita will know. your sluggish behavior and dark circles are a dead giveaway. again, he can be a bit blunt when confronting you, but he just wants you to be getting your sleep so you don’t lag behind throughout the day.

as stated, kita is very attentive to your hobbies. he’ll take you to events you expressed interest in and center dates around things you love. one of your most memorable dates was when he prepared a night in for the two of you to try a couple of recipes that ended with watching a movie and eating homemade brownies. he’s taken you to festivals and concerts, to arcades, to the movies; everywhere you can possibly dream of, he’s taken you at least once.

you help kita manage the volleyball club even though you aren’t a manager (the other members, specifically atsumu, have asked you to be several times, though.) and stay up to date on the events that revolve around them. you’ve also tried to familiarize yourself with the sport, and when you subtly bring up the technicalities you’ve learned while the team discusses game plans, your boyfriend is visibly impressed.

dating shinsuke kita means getting complimented. by everyone on everything.

it seems the two of you are the perfect couple, and you’re constantly being told so. anyone who knows the two of you personally can see how wonderful of a pair you both make, and some people (again, specifically atsumu, who is crying in anguish), are even jealous of how well you and kita work together. kita’s friends are always telling him how lucky he is to have you in his life and he can’t help himself from smiling and saying “yeah, I am lucky” every single time because it’s you.

your friends are all over your boyfriend as well. they melt every time kita shows you the slightest bit of pda or hear about the sweet things he’s done for you because, wow, shinsuke kita is the ideal guy for so many people, and they grieve over the fact that they don’t have your same kind of love. “when is it my turn?!” they’ll rasp out dramatically while clutching their chest as kita intertwines his fingers with yours, and you’d both chuckle while leaning against him.

what your peers wouldn’t give to have a partner that looks at them the way you two look at each other.

kita isn’t one to be all over you, but he isn’t one to shy away from pda either. he’s not trying to uphold any reputation, so he’s definitely not embarrassed to let his loving gaze toward you linger or to even kiss you in front of his classmates.

frequently holds your hand and finds it sooo endearing when you swing them back and forth. he loves to kiss your hands too- the palm, the knuckles, it’s just so simple and so sweet and it makes you flustered as hell which is always an amusing sight. he mostly does it subconsciously, but he always guides you away from anything that he feels might make you uncomfortable or unsafe. the type to subtly move you when walking next to a road so that he’s closer to the traffic and not you, the type to give you a gentle tug away from large crowds or to put his arm around you so you don’t accidentally lose him, just much smaller affectionate acts that put both your minds and hearts at ease.

casual touching is his favorite form of physical affection because there’s a sense of security in it that you both really love. the casual intimacy of rubbing your arm or back to soothe you when you’re stressed or trying to fall asleep, or when your foreheads are pressed together and you just sigh, taking those moments to recollect yourself and admire your boyfriend- it’s so very heartwarming. the two of you didn’t need to show your love in grand ways, but that didn’t mean kita has never spoiled you before (he’s for sure bought you gifts and taken you out to expensive restaurants. man has class).

most importantly, dating shinsuke kita means having stability in your relationship.

kita brings everything you could ever hope to have in a relationship to the table: stability, security, inspiration and encouragement. he always has your back no matter what. you and kita are perfect, not because you never argue or because you’re constantly over each other- that couldn’t be farther from the truth. no, you and kita are perfect because you two have the patience to work through your differences and overcome obstacles in your relationship. you two work so well together because you love and trust each other enough to recognize that there are times where one or the other is busy or needs time to themselves and be okay with it. you love and trust each other enough to sit down and have mature conversations and communicate your wants and needs.

of course, the occasional argument springs up because the two of you are only human and miscommunications tend to happen, and it’s in your sensitive natures to let things get a bit heated. of course, sometimes these arguments result in an exchange of harsh words and temporary silence while you both reflect on your situation and think about how you want to proceed. at the end of the day, clashes here and there are unavoidable, but it’s about how you both go about handling them that reflects the tenderness of your relationship.

shinsuke kita believes in commitment, process and self-assurance, but he also believes in hardships, self-improvement and fulfillment. he believes in himself, but he also believes in you. and dating shinsuke kita means you will never have to navigate these things alone.

can you spoil a bit about the special ep? like is the ifylita special ep connected to the series, is it canon or completely separated timeline/what if 1927 yai and present jom had a happy ever after in modern times?

*BIG SPOILER AHEAD* I will put the spoiler about the special episode under read more so ppl who doesn't want to get spoiled won't need to read it :)

It is kinda seperated and kinda not. The Special Episode plays in the time where Jom went back to the present and Yai stayed in the past and before the finale happens in the series. So you are right anon, it has something to do with 1927 Yai and present Jom.

*BIG BIG SPOILER AHEAD* in the next lines I'm going to explain a bit what happened in the special episode. So don't read further if you don't want to know :)

Well after they wish to meet e/o while a big meteor shower happens, they wake up next to each other in the modern times in Jom's apartment. Yai needs a bit of adjustments because of all the technical stuff (one scene where Jom's vacuum robot goes off and Yai is in complete panic mode skdfhsfh). Anyway they spent the day with eo, going to the fair and having fun. While they played a game at the fair suddenly the lights went off and Yai was nowhere to be seen and all the clips Jom took with him were gone or more like Jom was seen in the videos but not Yai. Jom was screaming for him and when the lights went on again, we see Yai calling for Jom and a completely teary eyed Jom. They went back home and we see Yai looking at himself in the mirror and how he slowly fades away. They have a deep talk with e/o which is sealed with a kiss and the next morning Jom wakes up alone. His last lines were "I'll wait for you, Yai" or "I'm going to wait for you, Yai". (I can't quite remember but something similar). That was pretty much the special episode :)
