XAVIER - he would be the shy idol that everyone loves. he’s soft spoken, caring, and he would always remind his fans to get some rest on live (like soobin from txt :)! ). when he goes on tour, he’s always so humble to notice his fans. he has an angelic and breathtaking voice (similar to jimin from BTS when he sung in butterfly) + like hanni from newjeans but boyver. he gives off main vocalist vibes. The backstage area of the music show was always so crowded and noisy that it made it easy for Tae to slip up beside you without anyone really paying attention, catching your hand in his before leaning in closer than nessary to mumble lowly in your ear.

“I’ve got a room to myself tonight, do you want to come over?”

“What exactly are you suggesting?” You asked, casting a sidelong glance at him, a smirk playing at the corners of your mouth.

“Whatever you want.” He replied, slipping a keycard into your hand smoothly before going back to find his members.

You were a bit surprised by his brazeness of the action, the past few weeks apart while traveling with your respective groups having apparently made him a little more needy than usual, though you couldn’t say you minded.

It wasn’t uncommon for you and Tae to slip off to each others rooms when you found out you were staying at the same hotel, but it was usually brief since there was the constant risk of one of the members walking in on you, due to having to share rooms all the time. But having a solo room meant there was no such threat for once.

You slipped down to his room after he texted that the coast was clear, spending a relatively quiet evening together before getting ready for bed, borrowing one of his t-shirts to sleep in, having conveniently ‘forgotten’ to bring your own pj’s with you.

As you wandered back out of the bathroom, you noticed Tae very engrosed in whatever it was that he was watching on his phone.

Out of curiosity, you snuck up behind him and peeked over his shoulder to catch a glimpse at his phone, surprised to see yourself, winking at the camera as you danced earlier that night during the music show.

“Are you watching fan edits of me?!” You squealed, making him jump and drop his phone, which you were quick to snatch up to get a better look.

“Ya! That was just in my recomendations! Give it back!” He jumped to his feet, chasing you round the bed, but you were too quick, darting across the mattress to save yourself from a full body tackle. You tried to make a dash for the bathroom, but were to slow, as he managed to grab hold of your arm and spin you so you were pinned between him and the front door.

“Give me that!” He giggled breathlessly as he wrangled his phone out of your grip.

“I can’t believe it, you’re such a fanboy!” You laughed, equally out breath, choosing to wrap your arms around his neck both for support and to pull him down to your eye level.

“Only because you’re so cute.” He cooed, catching your lips in a teasing kiss, trailing his hands up your sides slowly and making you squirm against him, momentarily lost in the feel of each other that you didn’t hear the sound of his door knob turning.

“Taehyung, do you know where- Yi-ash!” Before either of you could react, the door had opened, resulting in you and Tae falling out into the hallway, landing squarely at Jin’s feet in pile of limbs.

For a moment, you all froze, staring wide-eyed at each other in shock.

“Hyung, I-” Tae started.

“What was tha- whoa.” The door to the room next to Tae’s opened, revealing Jungkook and Jimin now peering out, equally shocked. “Y/n?”

“Hi, guys.” You said awkwardly, hyper aware of how compromising your current position looked. “Uh, Tae, can I get up?” You whispered, snapping you boyfriend out of his daze.

“Yeah, sorry!”

“What’s going on?” Jin asked as Tae scrambled to his feet and helped you up.

“Nothing! We were just-”

“Does Namjoon know about this?” Jungkook asked.

“Know about what?”

“Oh, for shit’s sake!” Tae whipped around to face the leader and Hobi, who had just exited the elevator, trying to hide you behind his back, as if that was going to help anything at this point.

“What is with all the noise?” Yoongi opened his door, blinking tiredly at the sight of everyone standing in the hall for several long seconds before wordlessly closing the door again, deciding against involving himself in whatever scene was unfolding right now.

“What’s going on?” Joon asked, glancing around at his members, eyes widening slightly as he spotted you, wearing one of Tae’s t-shirts and wishing to dissolve into the wallpaper. “Y/n?-”

“Y/n’s my girlfriend.” Tae blurted out loudly, causing everyone’s attention to whip to him, including yours. ”We’re dating, but I haven’t told the company yet.”

There was another pause as that information sank in, before Junkook spoke again, breaking the silence.

“Way to go, hyung.” He grinned at you and Tae.

“Yeah, good for you guys.” Jimin agreed, shooting you both a thumbs up.

“You’re not mad?” Tae asked, glancing at everyone nervously.

“Why would we be mad? So long as you’re careful, It’s your life.” Hobi said encourangingly.

“Yeah, I mean, I would’ve rather not have found out by catching you two doing that-” Jin said.

“We weren’t doing anything!” Tae exclaimed.

“Tell that to the hickey on you neck.” Jimin chirpped, dissolving into giggles as Tae clapped a hand to his neck in alarm.

“Okay, um, we can talk about this later, can everyone just please go back to your rooms before one of the staff shows up?” Joon said quickly, herding the two younger members back into their room.

“Be safe, you two!” Jungkook called, closing the door before Tae could snap back at him.

“Thank you, hyung.” Tae said to Namjoon.

“Don’t worry about it, man, we’ll talk later.” Joon replied, patting Tae on the shoulder before nodding to you. “Sorry about that.”

“It’s okay.” You said, catching Tae’s hand before making your way back to his room.

“Oh, hyung?” Tae leaned back out into the hall to address Jin. “What was it you came to ask me?”

The eldest member blinked for a moment before shaking his head. “I don’t even remember.”

Tae nodded. “Alright then, goodnight.” He closed the door firmly, making sure both locks were engaged before slumping against it with a groan.

“Well, that’s not how I planned for that to go.” He said, rubbing his face tiredly.

“What? Telling you bandmates about us, or asking me to be your girlfriend?” You asked, leaning against the dresser as you studied him.

“Both.” He admitted, looking at you apologetically. “I am so, so sorry.”

You shrugged. “At least it was just them and not your manager.”

He nodded before slowly straightening and coming to stand in front of you. “Will you let me fix one of my missteps from tonight?”

“Depends which one it is.” You said, smirking up at him.

“Will you be my girlfriend?” He asked you, staring down at you solomly.

“Hmm.” You pretended to mull it over. “I guess.”

“You guess?!” He balked, making you laugh.

“Yes, you goof, I will.” You relented, wraping your arms around his neck to pull him into a kiss.

“Good, I don’t think my heart could take any more surprises tonight.” He mumbled against your mouth.

“Plus, the guys would be upset.”

“The guys?” He raised a brow at you before hoisting you up and dropping you on the bed. “I don’t want to hear about ‘the guys’ again for the rest of the night.” He grumbled, climbing to hover over you.

“Are you possesive now?” You asked, grinning up at him.

“You’re gonna find out.”

Seizing the moment, you set the camera aside and stepped closer to Jimin. "You know, there's something I haven't vlogged about yet." You reached into your bag and pulled out a small, intricately wrapped box.

Jimin's eyes widened with curiosity. "What's this?"

"A little something I got for you," you said in a sing-song tone, handing the box to Jimin.

Jimin carefully unwrapped the box, revealing a delicate necklace with a pendant shaped like a compass. You smiled softly at her, "It's a reminder that no matter where we go, as long as we're together, we'll find our way."

Jimin's eyes sparkled with gratitude as she examined the gift. "y/n, it's beautiful. Thank you."

You took the necklace and gently placed it around Jimin's neck. Your fingers brushed against each other, sending a subtle electric pulse through both of you. Your gaze lingered on Jimin's eyes, a silent acknowledgment of the unspoken emotions that had grown between the two of you.

Jimin, her fingers tracing the pendant, met your gaze. "This is perfect, y/n. I... I never want this trip to end."

Feeling a surge of warmth, you cupped Jimin's face with your hands, softly caressing her cheek with your thumb. "It doesn't have to. Every day with you feels like an adventure, Jimin."

And in that rooftop sanctuary, surrounded by the city's whispers and the promise of countless tomorrows, you and your girlfriend shared a quiet moment that spoke volumes. The city below faded into the background as you leaned in, your lips meeting in a soft, tender kiss—a kiss that held the essence of the love that had blossomed amidst the exploration of new places and shared dreams.

The vlog concluded with a montage of your day, set to a cheerful soundtrack. You turned off the camera, feeling a sense of fulfillment in capturing these precious moments. Jimin leaned over, planting a sweet kiss on your cheek.

Jimin grinned. "No, thank you for bringing me along on this crazy adventure. I wouldn't want to explore the world with anyone else."

"Thanks for making today unforgettable," you whispered, the warmth of the moment lingering in the air.

And as you stepped into the night, hand in hand, the city continued to unfold its wonders, echoing the magic of your journey together.

BACK TO YOU — idol!yu jimin x idol!reader

warnings: 5th member reader slight yunjin x reader

the heat from the stage soaked into your skin, you can feel the body heat radiating from the number of people on the stage, you stood still while every idol known to exist moved around on the stage trying to get comfortable in this uncomfortable space.

you felt slightly weak, the dancing from your performance catching up to you, you look into the crowd and see the faces of multiple fans screaming trying to get anyone’s attention, sometimes you wonder if you hadn’t become an idol, what would you be doing?

a nudge snaps you out of your thoughts , you turned to group member yizhuo, she smiles at you and links her arm with yours smiling at you, you smile back at her leaning a little bit of your weight on her.

you felt a tug of your hair, you turn around to see your leader jimin, she smiles at you and you hesitantly return it, you don’t understand her sometimes, one day she’s hot and the next she’s cold.

you both have been in an ongoing situationship since your trainee days, it’s hard being so inlove with someone but they’re so difficult, it’s like every time you guys get close to being official she pulls back and distances herself with you, both on and off camera.

you lightly shake your head at your thoughts, your snapped out of them when you hear a big scream.

you jump slightly, when you see the blonde haired girl running towards, you smile when you realize who it was all the stress that was in your body releasing when her arms wrap around you.

her warmth surrounds you, you let out sigh when you feel her squeeze you gently, her warmth breath hitting your ear, “I missed you.” she whispers gently.

“I missed you too.” you whisper back before feeling the warmth leave you as she released the hug.

the sound of a throat being cleared is what snaps you out of your slight daze, you turn around to see your four members staring at the two of you.

your eyes widened, “oh!” you grab yunjins hand and bring her slightly closer to you, “you guys know yunjin right?”

the first one to smile is yizhuo, “it’s nice to see you again.”

aeri follows, “yeah, so good to see you.” she smiles at the slightly taller girl.

“yeah old roomie.” minjeong joines in, laughing at her own joke.

everyone turns to look at jimin who hasn’t said anything yet, she looks at you guys confused before it hits her, “oh!” she bows. “sorry, it’s good to see you again.” she smiles at the blonde girl.

but you can tell it’s fake, it’s obvious.

“nice to see you guys too.” yunjin says enthusiastically, instantly killing the awkward atmosphere that was caused the leader. “I just wanted to say hi to yn.” she says wrapping an arm around you, “I’ve missed her.”

the girls excluding jimin who seem to focused on yunjins arm around you, nodded their heads understandingly, it’s known that you an yunjin are pretty close friends.

after catching up with each other, it was sadly yunjin time to get back to her group, but she didn’t leave without giving you another hug and a kiss on your cheek.

yizhuo nudges you playfully but all you do is roll your eyes before turning to your leader.

“hey, what time do we leave?” but you get no response, there it is, the coldness.

“hey, what time do we leave.” aeri asks the leader repeating your words to the girl.

jimin smiles at replies, “soon.” is all she says.

you furrowed your eyebrows at her, is she seriously doing this? ignoring you?

she ignored you for the rest of night.

yizhuo, aeri and minjeong got settled in their rooms and it was now only you and jimin sitting on the couch watching the tv.

it was awkward to say the least, after the award show, she acted like you didn’t exist only conversing with the three other girls and when you tried to talk to her you were ignored.

it was annoying.

this is the first time that you’re genuinely annoyed.

“what is your problem?” you ask harshly, turning your body the girl sitting on the other side of the couch.

“not right now yn.” she muttered keeping her gaze on the tv.

“no.” you grab the controller and turned it off, “we’re gonna talk about this what’s your problem?”

“why are you being so…” you trail off, “I don’t even know how to explain it.”

the dark haired girl rolls her eyes at you, “gosh yn, are you really that stupid?”

she turns around facing you as well, “you don’t know why I’m acting like this?” she asks harshly, “like you weren’t throwing yourself at yunjin like some attention seeker.”

you look at her in disbelief, “attention seeker?”

“yes yn, an attention seeker, want me to spell it out for you?”

“how?” you ask, “how am I being an attention seeker.”

“like I said before you were literally throwing yourself at her.” she say’s standing up from the couch, “acting as if you don’t already have a relationship, right in front of me in fact.”

you stand up as well, is she serious, “the thing is jimin, I don’t have a relationship, how am I supposed to act like this is a relationship when you don’t even act like it.”

for years all she does is love bomb you and then act cold, it’s an ongoing cycle and she’s the one that wants you acting like it’s a relationship?

she looks at you saying nothing, clenching her jaw because she knows you’re right and what does she do when you’re about to hit your breaking point?

jimin walks closer to you and wraps you in a hug, pulling you into her coldness, even her breath is cold when she whispers “I’m sorry, I just get so jealous.” she says pressing a kiss to the side of your head, it was like a switch just like that she had you back in her arms.

you hesitate to say something what do you do?

you don’t even get the chance to say anything before jimin is cupping your face in her hands and pressing her lips against yours.

like the idiot you are you melt into it, wrapping your arms around her neck kissing her back.

what snaps you out of this is the feeling of her smiling against your lips, like she accomplished something.

you pull away immediately. “no.”

she raises a brow at you, “no?”

“no.” you say backing away from her, “I’m not doing this for the a thousandth time, I refuse.” you cringe at the sound of your shaky voice.

“oh really?” she asks sarcastically.

“yes.” you say immediately, “I’m done jimin.” you turn around heading to your room but stops at her voice.

“you’ll come back yn, you always do.”

you let out a sigh and head into your room.

I know that.

you know that and you know there’s nothing you can do about it.

RIGHT:

The moment doesn’t feel real.

You stare up at the white ceiling. The room is dark you can barely see it.

It’s late. How late?

You turn your head to the left a small digital clock now in view.

11:45 PM

It’s late.

The moment doesn’t feel real.

It’s like you’re here but you’re not here.

Your gaze is on the ceiling again. Your laying on your back, fingers intertwined resting on your stomach. Your mind thinks back to the clock.

The clock, there’s a shift in the covers next to you, that’s not your clock. Your eyebrows furrow, there’s another shift.

right.

That isn’t your clock. This isn’t your bed. You turn your head to the right. His back is to you. This isn’t your house.

“Jin?”

“Mmh?”

His response is instant. He turns around and cuddles into the side of your body. His head now rests in the crook of your neck. You can feel his breath on your skin. His right arm wraps around your torso.

Suddenly you’re hyper aware of everything. The clothes you wear despite being Jin’s and way too big for you, feel as if they’re tightening around your skin. The room feels busy. Your body is hot. The part of Jin’s body that rests ontop of you feels as if it’s burning.

You tell yourself this is normal. The sharing a bed part, the cuddling part. Ten years of friendship makes this normal, for you guys anyways too many secrets shared too many embarrassing moments witnessed to freak out over such trivial things.

Ten years of friendship.

Friendship?

Today felt like anything but ten years of friendship. He had cooked for you

just for you

on valentine’s day. No questions asked no plans made he just did.

He didn’t know you were coming but still did. For you.

Just for you.

You laughed, danced a little, drank a little, cleaned together, watched a movie and now you’re in bed together.

Just as friends?

No. There was too much tension in the air today, way too much tension. Sure Jin has never really shown any outward romantic interest in you like say Jungkook and Taehyung have but then again not everyone is Jungkook and Taehyung and not everyone shows affection and like Jungkook and Taehyung do.

Maybe you’re overthinking this. No you’re definitely overthinking this. You shouldn’t even be thinking about this.

Not even a full week ago you—

Guilty.

You feel guilty now, real fucking guilty.

You breath quickens. Your mind spiralling.

Taehyung and you just— and what about Jaehyun? Would Yoongi be mad? Is Hobi really ok? You should call Jimin but have you been ignoring Kook? what about Joon?? Isn’t it Jaehyuns birthday today? And Jin—

“Hey”

His voice gentle

concerned.

It brings you out of your spiral almost instantly.

“I’m here, don’t cry i’m here”

You were crying? You hadn’t even noticed.

Jin now sits up on his side, one arm supports his weight the other gently wipes your tears away.

“Breathe with me baby, breathe you can do that f’me can’t you?”

You nod your head not trusting your voice in the moment. Tears cloud your vision. You breathe.

Nothing feels real.

“There you go, doing so well let’s slow down a little yeah? It’s just you and me i got you nothings gonna hurt you i promise”

You wordlessly nod once more and attempt to slow down your breathing.

A few “Good girl”’s and “I’m here”’s later your tears stop and your breathing is back to a somewhat normal pace.

You’re embarrassed.

“I’m sorr—”

“You don’t need to apologise”

Your hands cover your face.

“What’s on your mind?”

It’s such a simple question but it almost brings you to tears once more.

What’s on your mind?

What isn’t?

Who isn’t?

You feel disgusting. Like a whore.

It’s ironic really. You’ve been called a whore for practically your whole career by fans, friends the media sometimes as a joke other times not. But you’ve never really felt like a whore sure you’ve done your fair share of sleeping around couple dates here and there but you’ve never felt as gross as you do now.

What’s on your mind?

You think back to Jin’s question.

“You” Its partly true.

“Me?”

“Yeah”

There a beat of silence.

You’re the one to break it.

“Do you think…

i’m a bad person?”

“I could never think you’re a bad person”

He pauses.

“We could never think you’re a bad person”

“We?”

“The remaining 6 of us i don’t need to name them do i?”

He smiles at you.

You frown, you’re not convinced.

“You don’t know that though”

“I know”

“Even if—”

“Even if. Especially if.”

“What?” You’re caught off guard by his answer.

“You don’t even know what i was gonna say”

“I have my theories”

“Which are?”

“How about we got theory for theory?”

“You’re the one with the theories i’m the one with the facts”

“I guess you’re right”

“I normally am”

“Normally?”

“Yeah…don’t really know if i’ve been doing things right lately”

“Why?”

You sigh.

What do you have to lose?

You look him in the eyes.

now or never

“I-i slept with Taehyung”

“And that wasn’t right?”

“Well it was. It-it felt right it was right but i didn’t just sleep with him it was more than that and-and now i’m here with you...”

“Being with me isn’t right?”

“No! i’m not saying that i’m just saying being with you right feels right too and that isn’t right”

Jin doesn’t speak.

“Like i’m feeling things for too many people and that isn’t right”

You’re met with silence again. You feel defeated. You feel stupid. You feel exposed.

“Says who?”

You look at Jin puzzled.

“Well technically no one? but thinking about everyone’s feelings tells me it’s not right”

“Now that’s not right, personally i see no wrong in you feeling right with Tae and me”

“Really?”

“Really”

“You know when i say right i mean feelings? like i mean romantic feelings“

“I know”

He caresses your face.

“I’ve known”

His last sentence hits you hard for some reason. He’s known? He’s known that you were talking about romantic feelings? Or he’s known it’s not just him and Taehyung? Maybe he had known that you never really liked Jaehyun as much as you should have? Perhaps he had known you feel guilty? Known you can barely look yourself in the mirror anymore? Or is it that he had known you almost found yourself at Jimin’s apartment today?

“You don’t owe anyone anything you know that right?”

Your eyes sting. He continues.

“You shouldn’t feel like you have to choose. I would never make you choose. I know you need the other members as much as they need you as much as i need you. If being with them feels right as much as it feels right being with me who am i to deny you?”

There’s so much you could say right now. So many things you want to say, to ask. You open your mouth to speak but the words don’t seem to find you.

You bite your lip, tears spot your vision once more. You’ve cried an awful lot today first tears of guilt and now tears of sadness? Or perhaps it’s relief? You’re unsure.

Just like you’re unsure on whether this moment is real or not. Unsure if you’re even here. Unsure if this is right.

You can barely make out Jin’s figure between your watery vision and the darkness of the room. His hand now strokes your hair.

“Thank you” The only words you’re able to say. You don’t even know what you’re thanking him for or if you’re even thanking him.

“Thank you” You repeat. The only words that feel right to say in this moment.

He kisses your forehead “Let’s get some sleep yeah?”

Dancing in the Dark

A/N: Got an early finish from work and my brain said do the thing.

The shadow to her light, standing back as she lights up for all to see. You weren't a secret, not quite, and yet you thrived under the hidden smiles and knowing touches.

Your lungs burn with a familiar fire; adrenaline guiding your stamina through the motions.

Lasers danced up your body with sporadic bursts of energy, the stage beneath your feet vibrating with a unified excitement that was shared by the crowd.

Sweat was slightly coating your skin, strands of hair beginning to stick around the expanse of your forehead.

You were exhausted, and yet you've never felt so alive.

The roar from the fans that had come tonight had only gotten more hyped with each hour that passed, hoarse throats doing little to squander the primal need to encourage and adore.

There have been a few times where you've had to squish down an exhilarated smile, to undo the curve of your lips and place professionalism back in control.

You couldn't help it, especially during parts of certain choreography a certain someone would face you and make such unhinged expressions to test your control.

Damn Yu Jimin and her Master's Degree for making you laugh.

The one time you did slip, you couldn't even find it in yourself to be mad, not with the pure delight that sparkled in her eyes for the brief second she had before needing to turn around again.

Sometimes -- perhaps in your delusional mind -- it was like the two of you were dancing together. That each light surrounding the space was but a star in the void of space.

It was a thought that didn't play often, kind of hard to with Spicy being belted out by the four idols in front of you, but it was one that occurred enough to make it stick out within your mind.

It was easy for you to love your job to begin with, but those little moments, when she makes it feel like it's just the pair of you -- it just makes you truly appreciate what you had.

Karina made it so easy to love her, and despite the moments of shared banter, you always made sure to let her know just how much she's truly appreciated.

And even now, with the last song coming to an end, you watch as she continues to give it her all for every single person who had come out to see them that night.

Sometimes, depending on how the night went, the sizzle and spark stays strong even as you're all changing back into normal attire.

Well, for most people, Winter looks more than ready to crash on a soft bed for the next 5 years.

There's a part of you that feels for her, after all your own mucles feel like they're only moments away from liquefying.

But then the idea of drinks and food are brought up to celebrate a night well done, and the chorus of cheers from all members of staff easily drown out a singular tired whine.

You catch Karina's eyes on you from the other end of the room, her smile one of silent adoration that never fails to awaken the slumbering butterflies lying dormant in your chest.

You will never deny the urge to be closer, and so before you know it the distance has decreased within nothing but a flurry of rapid movements.

"You did well today," you say upon approach, loving the way she reaches out to intertwine a pinky with your own.

"So did you."

A grin tugs at your lips, and you tilt your head in a way that lets her know she's about to be enticed into a battle of bants. "How do you know? I'm behind you for maybe... 90% of the time."

She attempts to mimic the expression on your face, but one side of her mouth extends way too far, "because it's you, so I know you did well."

Bullseye. There was no winning when she's so genuine.

You try to brush away the heat rising against your cheeks, but at this proximity there's no denying it.

"Flatterer."

A hum, now all of your fingers are interlaced. "No, just honest."

A stuttered breathe breaks free from your nose, love poured into every particle that filters within the space between you.

You really, really wanted to kiss her when she says things like that.

And if the look on her face is anything to go by, she's fully aware of the fact.

Her smile turns wry and she settles with a squeeze of your hand before their manager is calling for her attention.

Well you think, willing away the frantic beat of your heart, she's going to pay for that.

A surprised gasp almost forces its way passed your lips when a hand settles over your own.

Too engrossed in a conversation with one of your fellow dancers, you hadn't even noticed when Giselle had decided to switch places with a certain someone.

"Hi," Karina smiles when you jolt in her direction, and you're left floundering for but a second before you regain yourself.

"Damn, and here I was thinking it was Giselle that wanted to hold my hand."

She raises a teasing eyebrow in your direction, the grip on your fingers tightening very slightly.

"Nuh-uh," she shakes your head, but the way the words slur only slightly lets you know that not too much alcohol was in her system... you think.

"No, you're right," you once again concede, making sure to lower your voice since it was only made for her to hear, "I prefer you holding my hand anyway."

She looks deep into your eyes upon your words, and you can see the quick spark of desire, the same one you had only a couple of hours prior.

Kiss her, go on.

But you hold steady, after all there will be a time and place when Karina will be able to freely call you hers, a day when the thumb caressing your skin won't be a secret under the table.

Until then, you'll make the most of the dances you share in the dark.
