happy new year! just came on here to say that i was rewatching deathly hallows 1 and thinking about what a concidence it was that harry was both the chosen one and a descendant of ignotus peverell, only to realize that it wasn't a concidence at all.
ignotus asked for the invisibility cloak so Death couldn't find him before he was ready, and before he finally greets Death, he passes the cloak off to his children so Death cannot find them before they're ready, either. the assumption is that the cloak continues down the family tree in this fashion until it inevitably reaches the potters, james specifically. dumbledore "borrowed" the cloak from james, ultimately removing it from the family tree (for a time), thus preventing james from being able to hide himself, lily, and harry when voldemort found the safe house, resulting in both his and lily's death and harry's almost-death.
in other words, when the cloak was taken from ignotus' line, Death was finally able to find his family (in the form of voldemort) before they were ready to die.
(this connection runs even deeper in book considering harry uses the cloak throughout the battle of hogwarts to evade voldemort, revealing himself only when he is ready. what's more, the reveals happen twice: first, in the forest, when harry is willingly walking towards his death and second, in the great hall, when harry finally has all of the information and all of the mysticism and fear of voldemort has finally been removed. in fact, from memory, harry even exclusively refers to voldemort as tom in the final scene, completely destroying the power dynamic voldemort has worked so hard to create between them. therefore, one might say, quite like his ancestor, harry only removed the cloak of invisibility when he was ready to die and, when he did so, he greeted Death as an equal.)

Behold.
@agentartemus 's girlfriend. And the girlfriend's boyfriend too ig.
Mini bios and some notes below the cut:
Oyam'sava Ket, more commongly known as Sava, was born and raised on Coruscant. She took up her mother's job as a trustworthy mercenary for the Titan Corps, a group of private contractors often hired by large entities for a number of jobs. She has a much younger sister who still lives with their father on Coruscant. Oyam'sava hopes to earn enough money to move her family up to the higher levels. She has a collection of droids ranging from tiny toy-like drones to a work in progress reprogrammed B1, all of which Kamsheed begrudgingly tolerates for her sake. She also has too many clothes for what her lifestyle requires, but that's not about to stop her. She has at least four knives on her person at all times.
Kamsheed Hizua operates under the codename "Daubhat", a togruti expression for a physically small hunter. He'd been called this often when he was younger, having gotten a growthspurt much later than his peers and yet still being concidered shorter than the average togruta of his village. He grew up on Shilli and finds the much more populated core-worlds overwhelming and kind of gross. He tries to visit his family as often as he can, but due to an unpredictable and busy job, he rarely can. At least he has Sava and his rapidly growing number of friends to keep him company. He's a fearsome fighter, although he has the bad habit of just tackling people instead of actually using hand to hand skills. He makes up for it with great aim.
Assume any fashion decision Sava makes is Rhea Ripley coded unless it involves the colour gold and the usual Star Wars women's clothing elements. She would probably be really into Stevie Nicks and The Runaways, though she would also know every word of Rihanna and Lady Gaga's discographies. Overall just a big woman music enjoyer. Her favourite colour is orange but she never wears it because it clashes with her skin.
Kam's a complete biker/gym guy through and through. All of the references I used for the posing are just pictures of Kim Mingyu of Seventeen, because I love Seventeen, and I love Kim Mingyu. He listens to whatever Oyam'sava listens to but he WILL try to suggest any type of space-equivalent dad rock that he can come up with. Would get VERY emotional when any Queen song plays. Hates Jizz and Debstup music and it's part of why he doesn't go to clubs unless he absolutely has to for some reason. He is malewife.

holy. fuckin'. DAMN. I was pretty good at predicting the plot so far, but this episode proved that stampede is going in a whole new direction for real. spoilers for ep 9!!! (and manga a bit)
first of all, we still haven't got a full story of the great fall, but I think it's something they'll reveal in this season, probably during confrontation with knives. and still no scar reveal!! I'm angy but it's something that could be relevant to the standoff with knives, hope we'll get it
the piano scene... oh we're eating GOOD, it's just so wholesome but goes to confirm my theory that twins weren't completely fine on the ship. vash feeling useless because he can't do cool plant shit, knives envying vash for being good at human shit.... oh it's great
so glad knives is getting proper characterization and not just "he evil because he evil"! the fear, the hurt, the genuine care for vash, but then frustration with him – it's right there and I'm eating it up so yummy
the way they recontextualized vash's arm loss is GORGEOUS! I've seen ppl reading this scene differently, but to me it was an act of care from naï. he looks really scared for a reason: we see that the gate consumed all matter, including the hand. vash couldn't control it, so it would only grow bigger and destroy him. NAÏ REALIZED THIS AND SAVED VASH THE ONLY WAY HE COULD
he didn't want to fight him, this was not an act of anger, like in previous versions. all he cared about in that moment was saving his twin..... and what did he get in return? a gun pointed to his face. a gun he gave vash to kill human scum. oh, the DRAMA
ahem, now to the less intense stuff
homeboy has so much trauma, like, damn... how is he gonna fit any more from his impending epic brother fight...... I'm quite curious on how they're gonna characterize him in the next season. concidering that we're taking off earlier than previous versions, he might end up with the same unhinged vibe 98' vash had, as a coping mechanism (if depression didn't work, try dissociation and silliness). but then it would be even more interesting to see meryl's and wolfwood's reactions: they knew him before the accident and saw the big sad
vash has sense in the prosthetic arm, so it must've hurt when he damaged it... probably it hurts less than the real one, and it's clearly painless to take off. but the hand seems to be rather sensitive and fic writers are gonna go crazy for this
age reveal! also brad and luida being in cryosleep makes sense, I was racking my brain on how they're still alive. seems like they're using much more plant power tho... both for cryo and the vegetation, while in manga they tried to keep it as low as possible and send signals to earth
saw someone say that they're probably not doing that here because the earth is destroyed... could be that they decided to go the hard way. but in the manga the earth was still fucked, and it wasn't clear if they communicated with the ppl left on the planet or the fleet that was in some new place. what I'm saying is, there is a possibility that they are looking for help in stampede, we just don't know it yet
meryl was so cute! go off, comedy relief goofy girl, while you can, there is more trauma coming your way :3 yeah, enjoy roberto calling you by your first name... oh it would be such a shame if he gave you his derringer before his untimely death..........
pretty weird that nobody knows why they fell on no man's land, but ppl probably were too ashamed of their past and 150 years later the new generation is oblivious. also so funny that luida has to explain what vegies are..... they have so many plants but haven't see any plants
tbh I wasn't expecting the zazie twist at all, but I'm excited! they are SO gender in stampede, might be the best redesign in the series, love me a genderless bug creature with bold fashion choices. really cool to see that storyline adapted, it was barely touched upon in the last volumes of trimax
btw the multiple bullets story about a plant, worm and human who went around figuring out if their species could coexist and just.... creating this foud family and then building a town there all were equal...... that's my favorite mb story for sure
wolfwood saying "I'm not your friend"... I know what you are. and we got a "you'll have to decide one day"... oh oh the misery, but the context was lacking. it just doesn't hit the same when he isn't daring vash to shoot him in the most homoerotic way possible. on and he looks so goofy trying to ride with his cross
in the last ep's rant I assumed that luida lied about rem saving everybody for some reason?? but no, she actually saved them, I just got a bit confused
so, as I predicted, the gang separated (tho not because of vash) and by the end of the next episode vash'll be in july and meet naï. the poster, man.... that gorgeous futuristic city is getting obliterated for sure
btw vash's gate being opposite to knives and sort of a black hole is nothing new. but there are new layers to this, like vash willingly giving away energy, but destroying things against his will, and knives with the opposite of this. ying yan twins go brrrr

Springtrap smokes yeah?
But he's also full of gaps and holes for the smoke to go out of once the pressure in his "lungs" releases.
So if he smokes, wouldnt it look something like this masterpiece 10/10 Alex Tier diagram every time he breathes the smoke out? (I'm not an expert on how smoke works so maybe I'm wrong)
Tumblr media
Also has he concidered Vaping? I mean, all the cool guys vape instead of smoke nowadays, plus, it's the Future ™️ why not try the new Computer Cigarettes?
LMAO it does indeed seep out of some of the holes on his mascot head, but (thankfully) it's mainly out of his mouth haha. It's quite noticeable when it seeps from his eye holes in specific- you'd be able to see his possessed, glowing white irises a bit easier that way.
Tumblr media
and I think he might be a bit “old fashioned” about vaping. He might be curious and try flavors or varieties here and there, because Alex most definitely vapes, but he’s perfectly happy with his cigars and cigarettes. A creature of habit I guess.

Mohg (mostly) headcanons
1) Unlike many, I hc that Mohg is the older twin. This does not affect much of my Morgott hcs, but is a key thing for Mohg himself.
2) Mohg was always the most emotional/charismatic of the two, inheriting Godfrey's fiery temper, while Morgott took after their mother in his aloof demeanor and grim cold-blooded pragmatism. Both of them (and Godwyn too) did inherit Marika's sense of fashion though.
3) Before becoming the Lord of Blood, Mohg wasn't actually known for many talents; while Morgott was a skilled illusionist and swordsman, Mohg's greatest talent - manipulating people - was unused due to his isolation from society.
4) Mohg cares greatly and is utterly loyal to his full brothers, but doesn't count other demigods as family at all. He also adored Godwyn to no end, basically having him as a role model and the image of what a Cool Big Brother should be like; thus Godwyn's death was more devastating to Mohg than to anyone else.
5) Mohg's whole idea of the new dynasty comes from the desire to be as good a big brother as Godwyn was (and to take revenge on all those goldy graceful bitches, of course). He truly fears for Morgott due to his devotion to the Golden Order and wants to save him, but unfortunately for Mohg, Morgott doesn't want to be saved, especially not by him.
6)...and Morgott isn't completely wrong in this, for Mohg's Formless Mother does not care about Mohg or his dynasty by themselves and only uses them to get herself an Empyrean. Mohg would refute this claim with passion though.
7) When the alliance of the demigods collapsed after the Night of the Black Knives, Mohg left Leyndell with Miquella and Malenia, having previously received an invitation to live in Elphael. He already was in communion with the Formless Mother at the time, so it was all part of his plan, but Morgott knew nothing of that and therefore concidered this a betrayal.
8) I cannot remember how Mohg's name is written in English and use wiki every time I try to spell it

Actually- further elaboration/explanations on this bc I've been looking for writing inspo LMAO
Tumblr media
Incredibly neat and perfect crew
Aryu's handwriting is just yet another stylish component to his aesthetic! He even got into calligraphy for a while. It distracts him from the horror of having to write his old fashioned name on each assignment.
Kaiser picked out his signature when he was 10. What can he say, he signs a lot of checks. It's like a nobrainer for him and you already know all his notes, whether it be a detailed analysis on a soccer player or written on a napkin are evenly spaced and frustratingly small.
Oliver prides himself on being spatialy aware, and that translates well to his writing. He gets easily bored by reading and writing and doesn't do it often but hand him a pen and his skills haven't degraded at all. His writing errs on the large side but is still very neat.
Nagi's handwriting is *almost* perfect. It drifts to the right though. Other than that, his handwriting is similar his sports skills because even though he never really tries to write neatly the characters just end up fitting in every box.
Kunigami is now technically ambidextreous but his dominant hand writes much neater than his previously non dominant hand. It gently curves and swoops just a bit, but not enough for you to claim it's not neat. His signature in english is just a neat print of his name.
Chigiri actually kind of tries to write neatly. Sloppy writing is a pet peeve of his and when he was younger, he tried his best to stay within the lines. When he was in the hospital for his acl injury sometimes he had little to do but doodle, read or practice his handwriting.
Loopy and pretty cursive possy
Lorenzo like Kaiser, signs a lot of checks. He also grew up with cursive as a big patt of his life, everytime he got a birthday card lovingly stuffed with some bills it was in cursive. And every teacher he liked, including Snuffy, knew it. So it only made sense that his writing began to follow similar patterns.
Noa learned english when cursive was popular and seen as neccesary. Never one to slack off when learning a language, he also learned cursive. He liked the way the words looped together and quickly learned shorthand. Although it's pretty, you probably won't be able to read it.
Reo is rich rich. Like his parents made him learn some latin rich. And cursive also exists in Latin. He picked up some writing habits from it that never quite went away. He can still write Catallus 8 from memory, words looping and leaning into one another as if for support.
Tabito loves fancy writing. He learned Kanji first because of the area he lived in and had a deepseated insecurity of being looked down on for it. So he makes sure to learn the most "proper" forms of writing in any language he learns as well as in his mother tounge. Sometimes he finds himself erasing and rewriting characters over and over, which makes him prefer pencil to pen.
Completely illegable, you need dental records to identify these words club
Sendou's handwriting was never the best. But who cares! He wanted to become a big soccer star anyway not get good marks in school, so he never improved upon it. Every paper he turned in would come back marked with question marks but he didn't particularly care. He thinks it's just another charming part of his character.
Bachira likes writing left to right in japanese way more than up and down, but this form suffers from a severe lack of quality. Some characters are illegable. Others are too large and overpower the "less important ones". Especially since he has a tendancy to write with his hand tilted all weirdly.
Rin never got his handwriting together and although all his notes look neat to him, anyone else would have to squint to read it. The letters and characters are always unbarably small and hard to decipher from one another. Rin is honestly a bit shy to show his writing to others because of this.
Raichi never concidered writing very important. Even when he was much younger he picked up on it later than his classmates, making spelling mistakes that embarassed his parents. He still makes plently of mistakes making his handwriting suffer more from grammar mistakes than any immediant messiness.
Crushed but legible bloc (the c got edited out on accident)
Lavinho's writing used to be much worse, his teachers forced him to get it together though. Even though he focused more on honing his sports skills than school, chasing football fame, he knew communicating with people is important. If anything his handwriting is better now because he used to be embarassed that people could barely read it.
Isagi's writing is wordy. Always. He never conciders how much space he needs and before he knows it he's almost filled the page and has to crush in his last few sentences. Without fail it starts our neat and then gets more rushed as time goes on, character having justtt enough space for you to distinguish them from one another.
Shidou gets suprisingly good grades. He's one of those kids who you wouldn't think takes school seriously then turns out to be a sponge of information. He loved learning as a kid and writing was no different. He spent an obessive amount of time perfecting his name and he's pretty proud of his handwriting and all it's quirks.
Sae used to have horrendous handwriting, similar to Rin. But he took his advisors advice when he told the rising star to get his writing together, especially his english. He worked at it and it got better, but he can't deny he still dislikes writing for long periods as it gives him cramps and hurts his wrist. So he naturally prefers shorthand.
Hiori, like Tabito, learned Kanjj and then standard Japanese writing. Unlike him, he has no shame about it. He likes learning languages and writing in general, so even though his handwriting has grammar mistakes here and there it isn't unforgivable thanks to hours of practice. A bit messy, yes, but not indecipherable.

Necklaces of triangles-Part 2: Woman with cross
On left is portrait which Trinity College, Oxford(UK) has for over 400 years labelled Elizabeth Pope, neé Blount. (They have 3 copies of it and they are really hard to tell apart). They truly believe it is wife of one of their founders. There is just one problem with it. On left is portrait which Indiana University Art Museum(USA), has labelled as Mary I.  Clearly this is a same woman!
Tumblr media
Either one is wrong or both are! So who is right? British university or American?(the sentence to start a fight.) Let’s find out.
Imo both might wrong at least partially. Both universities think their painting is based upon 1550s fashion. But I’ve done some digging and it can be as early as c. 1547-1548(which tbh was bit of surprise to me. But ok, chronology is once again shifted a couple of years.) So both are wrong in assuming it must be later. Then being wrong by only couple of years happens a lot in portraits. Let’s cut them so slack, they were not 20+ years away.
Indiana University Art Museum has it theirs labelled as Mary I, c.1550-1560 by Hans Eworth:
Tumblr media
Link:https://artmuseum.indiana.edu/collections-online/browse/object.php?number=2001.39
Given that slight yellowish hue, this looks more like hazel eyes to me than grey.
Which is important because all 3 royal ladies in question had grey or hazel eyes. Not brown, not blue, hazel or grey.  (I say three because obviously, this is not Anne of Cleves. It’s not her features.)
I am unsure if this smaller painting is original painting or not. And reason for it is you cannot see where dress and parlet end-which is wrong, not historically accurate.
However there is painting of Mary, where seemingly there is no difference too, untill you brighten it(as i did on left):
Tumblr media
I tried it on Indiana version of our unknown lady. No partlet was revealed. But it is possible it was overpainted. Thus potentially a later alteration made painting appear non-original, even thought potentially it might be. This kind of alteration would be really hard to spot.
But can we even tell if it is a royal? There is that pearl necklace forming triangles and looks bit alike the one Elizabeth probably was wearing as Queen, but it is not conclusive it is same(or originally same altered by time of Elizabeth’s reign).
But I am also wondering if perhaps each royal lady got her own-slightly different from others.
Tumblr media
But is not only piece of jewelry in the painting you should focus on. This cross, seems as unimportant accesory. A chest jewel showing that person is of christian fate and nothing more. And perhaps I am wrong and this exact shape of cross is mere concidence.
Tumblr media
But if I am right, you’ve all seen that cross before. But you’ve probably didn’t study details in Whitehall Mural and questioned the shape of Elizabeth of York’s ruby cross:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What is different? Bottom pearl and 4 extra pearls on it.
Imo it could be Elizabeth of York’s cross. I cannot rule it out.
Would Mary wear such old jewelry? 50+ years old?
Well I told you in past that Mary during her reign wore this:
Tumblr media
it’s called Tablet of Bourbon and experts have traced it in royal inventories all the way back to reign of Henry V. I didn’t mispell that. Henry the Fifth. He died in 1422! When Mary got depicted with it as Queen, that jewel was 130+ years old. So merely 50+ years old jewelry, she could definitely wear that!
(Wearing old jewelry by royalty is showcase of stability and continuity of line. Even nowadays royals do this and royal watchers discuss which royal lady wore this tiara/necklace/brooch before.)
Now let’s take a look at the second painting.
Trinity College, Oxford’s painting labelled as Elizabeth Pope, neé Blount. (They have 3 copies of it and it is really hard to tell them apart!)
Tumblr media
Link to right one(i hope):
https://artuk.org/discover/artworks/elizabeth-blount-lady-thomas-pope-c-15151593-formerly-basford-later-paulet-219507
Elizabeth Pope was wife of founder of the college. Lady of great ambition, and love for jewelry. Her husband was very rich, and at times very powerful.
And in no way his portrait matches his supposed wife:
Tumblr media
Both have dark background and are dark to degree, but he has drappery( fabric hangings) behind himself(though it is not very visible), she has solid background. He wears lynx fur, his wife no fur. He wears no jewels(except rings), she wears SO much of it!
This amount of jewelry on non-royal?! Don’t get me wrong-in Elizabethean times-certainly possible and such pearl chains often occured in those days in portraits. But prior?! Not normal at all in 1550s nor 1540s.Should hit you as weird! Immediately. The crimson velvet should hit you as weird.
Yeah I know that guy funded college and was very rich. But in those days unless you were royal, you needed to show some restriction with how you were portrayed. Henry Howard’s got executed mainly because of his portrait! This is meant to be painted after...yet no restriction from those people?
Overall if I look at it together:
This jewelry+crimson+difference with alleged portrait of husband, don’t favour Elizabeth Blount that much.
But what do we know about her husband? Thomas Pope was one of Mary’s council members and favoured by her. (That could potentially explain why his wife could be allowed to wear something she’d normally be not entitled to. We had such case during Henry VIII’s reign.)
He founded the Trinity college as catholic college. During Mary’s reign. His action certainly would please her. Even if she wasn’t official patron, she was in favour of this. And old universities in UK have many lesser known portraits of Tudor royalty, hidden among many other old paintings. They get overlooked.
And if Henry VII could have been mislabelled as Richard III already in 16th century, Mary could have been mislabelled as Elizabeth Pope in 16th century also. Especially given it is atypical depiction of her(possibly). Hence it could certainly be Mary given painting’s history.
But if you look at both paintings, one thing is off. The height of brows is very high for Mary. Every other feature i can find in some portrait of her, can explain by different artists taking on her features, by her health issues, weight loss/gain.
Tumblr media
Here look how same the shape of eyes is:
Tumblr media
But not the brows. They are too high. It oculd be certainly that artist made mistake and her grandfather’s depictions sometimes have brows very down sometimes very up. So this is explainable.
(And certainly it looks more like her than that portrait in Met Museum. At least to me.)
(She could ahve same shape of eyebrows, which in slightly different angle and tilt of head just look very different.) And especially in copies this can happen. I cannot rule it out. It could simply be that it is poor likeness.
Or it is isn’t her. But Elizabeth of York’s cross and amount of jewelry points to royalty. Alive in 2nd half of 1540s or sometime in 1550s. It’s not Anne of Cleves. But who then?
I’ll be honest here. I do not know it is. I don’t. At least not for sure.
And I am sure many of you will say Mary...that it has her mouth etc...but knowing what I know about Scrots and Eworth...I cannot rule out some of these are artistic similiarities. The artist’s style in which all people, regardless of their actual features, looked alike.
That being said, there is aditional thing which we need to consider here.
The damage to the Illianois painting. It’s not obvious at first glance, unless you look in HD. But there is unfortunately damage to the face, which might mislead you great deal.  There are dark patches where shadow shouldn’t be, smudges etc. And it is obvious to me, that those are not how the sitter is supposed to look. The painting’s face was just not restored to get rid of these.
Tumblr media
And imo due to this the woman looks maybe even decades older than she actually is. All those supposed wrinkles are actually damage to the painting if you focus on it. Thus...if you remove them, she looks much younger and with nose which at least from en-face or nearly en face, looked much straighter(than the damage makes it appear so).
Probably like this(it’s photoshoped-i wasn’t able to fix the nose entirely):
Tumblr media
But how young is this woman? Is it 18? Is it 35? It’s hard to say.Mary looked still very young up to cca time of her father’s death(such were genes on her mother’s side of family), and who knows maybe Parr also looked very young.
I think dating for this fashion is c.1546+(after that it is hard to determine due to Mary I’s returning to fashion).
So could it be Mary or Parr in c.1547, or Elizabeth during her brother’s or sister’s reign? Yes, to all three.
But we also know Parr resembled Mary to great degree with main difference being more arched/higher brows.
Tumblr media
But i am not confident to say it is her. Because as you know, only original we have is not great and we are not 100% sure about her basic features.
Resemblence between Elizabeth and Mary was also pretty good. More than you’ve been told! She is good candidate too. She had hazel eyes-not brown as you imagine her, featurew-wise she would be pretty good fit.
Tumblr media
And we lack depictions of her from 1540s and 1550s-where she is on her own. she is in family portraits. Of course Mary has way more because she was ruling Queen and Elizabeth also was not in favour plenty of times in those years. Still there are just cca 3 painting of monarch’s daughter/sister in period of 20 years...(and 2 are based upon family portraits too). The amount is odd! There are bound to be more depictions of her we are not aware of!
Neither is excellent fit. Neither is bad enough fit for me to rule them out.
But while figuring sitter could be younger is good to know, me photoshoping the image and only then comparing faces was bad idea. Because I removed something which is damage and I only realised later.
Tumblr media
It’s the way cheeks are shaped. With prominent edge to it?(would I call this wrinkle? probably not). It’s kind of similiar to cheeks of Henry VII, but his were of course way more prominent due to age.
And it got me thinking. Could this detail help us narrow it down who it is?
Tumblr media
Mary’s cheeks are similiar, but in comparison she has this bulge sticking out of her cheeks. But perhaps that is due to some health condition. I don’t know about her reign but prior Mary had problems with her teeth few times. Could cause swelling in that area.
Tumblr media
Elizabeth’s depictions if she had it as young woman, her youthful portraits don’t show it(they are idealized). But some of her portraits as old woman show her cheeks resembled that of her grandfather.
However I cannot rule out possibility Parr had it too.
I will be frank. I don’t know which one of them it is!
I’ve been trying to figure out for months now! And I keep changing my mind over whom i think it is. I have finished most of this post in winter. But I kept going all over their portraits, known depictions, features and I keep changing my mind about who i think it is, and then i changed it back and yet again! I’ve done it 6 or 7 times. I have to surrender and admit defeat.
I simply don’t know. At the moment you can take your pick-Mary I, Elizabeth I, Catherine Parr.
Go for it! Who do you think this could be?
Tumblr media
I hope you’ve enjoyed this, because for me this was frustrating as hell.
PS: I know some of you speculate if it could be one of Henry VIII’s nieces. But I would like to caution you. if we are talking relatives vs relatives, it can be very hard to determine. You might be sure you found perfect match in features in some depiction of person you like...and still it might not be that person but their cousin who just happened to look very alike. Remember my post about Henry VII vs Richard III. Distant cousins-very similiar face.
Especially given the condition of the American painting, be cautious. I am not sure if nose can be restored properly-i hope so. But we might be looking at issue of flattening nose. And when that occurs it is very hard to tell who it is, because it is such defining feature. So it would be very easy to accidentally identify these portraits wrongly and sometimes it is better to leave it not identified, than wrongly identified.

One of my favorite creative experiments (I think I already made a post about it I believe idk, bad memory) is AxB=?
Take two concepts, fuse them, explore the scenario. For example:
Zombie Apocalipse x Fashion parade = Massive zombie attack concides with the presentation of a fashion parade. One of the models is infected without their knowledge and suddendly becomes aggresive in the middle of it. Still dressing the modern and innovative suits, the rest of the models crew and the dressmakers need to find a way, using the material at their disposition to protect theirselves and the horrified public to be bitten, in this hellish fashion nightmare.
Chef show x Murder mystery = An old woman, chef host from a star chef show realices along mysterious hints in her kitchen set and gossips about the death of one of the makeup girls that something fishy is being cooked here. Weird stains on the marble of the countertop, floor footsteps in strange places. Watch how she manages to solve the crime while keeping her sanity, using her knowledge about cooking across the show episodes.
AxB=?

My thoughs on the first episode of Season 2
There are a couple things I want to highlight from these first three episodes, so here we go!
We are first seeing how Stede and Ed are coping with their "break", as Stede has called. They're both melancolic, but in different ways. Stede is in a more introspective process of grief, where he constatly thinks about Ed, writes about him, wonders if he's okay, and tries to find him to make things right, while Ed is just so full of anger.
As we progress trough the episodes, little by little Stede hears about these horrible things Ed has done, and he is in total denial about it, because he keeps on holding onto the image of the Ed he first met and doesn't want to let go.
And then we see that these rumors are true, Ed has become a madman thirsty for blood who uses killing and torture as a way to unhealthy cope with this breakup. While Stede keeps remembering, Ed is constatly trying to bottle up these feelings and forget about it, but obvioulsy that doesn't work because these feelings keep escaping from his heart, either when he cries at night with this little made up dolls of him and Stede, or when he is tourturing Izzy and the crew.
Ed has turned violent because he is broken, because he trusted his most precious feelings to Stede, and he probably never had a relationship where he could feel vulnerable like that. In my point of view, the whole thing about the reationship between these two is how they teached each other how to deconstruct their idea of masculinity.
Stede grew up with heteronormativity on his showder and was constantly called "soft" because he liked books and fashion and picking up flowers and just wanting to be peaceful. Things that people in his life concidered too "girly", while Ed was in the total oposite of the spectrum. He was tough, killed people constatly and was concidered a legend and prized by his violence. He is the ideal of not only a pirate, but of a man (from the point of view of this misogynistic society).
But when they meet, they form a balance. Ed teaches Stede how to be acertive and tough when he needs to, while Stede teaches Ed how to be kind and happy. They love each other because one has something that the other does not, and they apreciate that about each other.
But now they'd broken up, and they are out of balance again, and I honestly can't wait to see how the show will portrait them building that relationship of trust and mutual exchange all over again, but with a bit of heartbreak this time.

@americasfineasscaptain moved it from here
“You’re the one who looks fashionable all the time. I can’t ever seem to figure out how things fit,” Steve shrugged, picking at the hem of his shirt sheepishly.
"Fashionable nowdays really just mean black anything and jeans. We both know that, Steve." Bucky pointed out, which was rather funny concider Bucky didn't wear much more than grey and blue t-shirts, jeans and his one leather jacket. "It can't be that hard to find something that fit?" He added, tilting his head to the side. "I'm sure we can find something."
