You stand in front of your apartment, sighing as you close your eyes, making your way inside your bedroom and begin to pick up the cardboard boxes with the help of your wand, moving them outside into the living room for someone(who is quite late, yet again) to take to your new home.

You tie your hair up, fixing your overcoat a little as you sigh, making your way to the smallest box, placed in the corner of the room. Just by looking at the stamp on top of it, you smile.

The memories of your time at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

You carefully sit on your knees, your plaid skirt riding up just a smidge, as you open the carton in front of you.

To say that it was filled up completely was an understatement because right now, a few books and photographs fell out onto your lap, making you chuckle. You picked up the photographs, settling with your back against the wall and your legs stretching out, as you looked through them one by one.

The first one—one of your graduation ceremony, standing next to Shimizu Kiyoko(the current owner of the most popular Quidditch shop in London) who was beaming vividly at the camera with you, holding up your wands as a gesture that you had finally done it. Something that seemed almost insurmountable when you first started school, and now? You all were content, happy with your lives.

The second photograph was one from the third year, your first time in Hogsmeade. You were in The Three Broomsticks, and a mustache of the froth from the butterbeer had formed atop your lips. Behind you, a certain fox pointed and laughed his guts out.

The next picture was from the Shrieking Shack—where all of your friends had ditched the second last day of school and spent the whole day drinking and reminiscing the past seven years of nostalgic happiness. A boy held your hand with the fondest look in his carob orbs, and you returned it.

You gingerly took the three photos, storing them in the photo album that had also fallen out of the box in the process of you opening it. Smiling, you took out some more mementos.

Your broomstick, the Nimbus 2001, sat at the bottom, but you excitedly removed it and placed it on the ground, saying, "Up!"

It almost made it to your hand but fell down upon grazing your fingertips. You pouted, blaming the number of years it had passed since you had played Quidditch. Peering into the box as you placed the broomstick aside, you found something even funnier.

Cheap, piss colored hair-dye that was almost ten-years-old.

You chuckled, looking at it playfully as you opened the top of the bottle. The disgusting odor that came from it made you grunt as you immediately placed the cap back on top, never desiring to touch that thing ever again. And once more, you placed the item in your hand to the side, looking into the box to find more things that reminded you of your happiest years.

You couldn't believe your eyes at what sat at the bottom of the carton.

An empty notebook with a soft leather cover, with a grey quill by its side, sitting there and ridiculing you.

You blinked twice, making sure what you were seeing was real. Hell, you even rubbed your eyes until you could see mindless patterns in the dark. You opened your eyes, the patterns making themselves sort of visible in plain sight, disappearing after a few milliseconds when you grabbed the brown book in front of you and whispered with your wand in hand, "Aparecium."

September 2, 20**.

I don’t know what I’m doing at this point. It’s been 3 years since I started loving her. When I saw her walk into the train today, umm, yesterday cause it’s past 2 AM now… I felt so happy?? I mean, I know I tease her and all, she’s quite amazing. She’s got the brains for it all and insults me back even when I say something stupid. I really dunno. 3 years and I’ve made 0 progress. I seriously need to re-think my decision about my love for this girl 'cause 'Samu says there’s no chance she loves me back. Dunno if I’ll be able to stop my feelings, though. I’ve liked her since my second year. Damn me, for being such a lovesick puppy. And to think I colored my hair for her too. [Y/N] called it piss-colored. Out of all things, why the fuck would ya compare somebody’s hair to piss? That’s utterly disgusting. I wonder where [L/N] gets these dumb ideas. Damn her, that slug. Anyways, I have class in a couple hours. G'night.

You immediately let out a hearty laugh, flipping to the next page when you remembered a certain encounter with the boy who wrote the diary. The day he told you he loved you, by the infamous Black Lake, he spoke of this particular page. He said that he addressed the nightly trips around Hogwarts, about how much he longs to be yours, about his happiness when he sees you, and your snarky comments that are just as, if not more, witty than his.

September 4, 20**

Today was the third day of school. Also my first trip around Hogwarts with [Y/N] under my invisibility cloak. We snuck into the kitchens and got ourselves steak pies and treacle tarts, and then went to the Astronomy Tower where we ate them while laughing about nothing in particular. I love these little trips. They make me all warm and fuzzy inside. Dunno how to put it into words, but I really like spending time with her alone. It makes me really really really happy. I wish that someday, maybe when I'm all grown up and play for a known Quidditch Team and she's a DADA professor, we are still like this. Going around to aimless places, eating food, and laughing about the old times(or anything really, I just want to be with her even when I'm older). And just like always, she doesn't fail to throw dumb comebacks at me. I can't help but chuckle at them, because sometimes they really are offensive. Well, looks like it's time to hit the hay now, so g'night.

'Tsumu.

You gasp as the page comes to an end, a hand on your mouth. He wasn't wrong when he said he wrote about you. You smile as a tear runs down your cheek as you flip to a random page this time, and you realize that it's written in his sixth year of Hogwarts.

December 23, 20**

I stayed back for Christmas break this year and my dorm is all empty. So is hers, because she says she didn't want to go back home at all until the summer. I feel bad for her gran, that woman must feel lonely.

You giggled at the line, grinning because you remember your grandma sending you a Howler, which yelled at you in the empty dorm-room for not coming home for the holidays. She said she missed you, and that your grandfather's health was deteriorating. She had also said that she knew why you didn't come back, and that it was okay, because she understood that you couldn't see another loved one go. The Howler ended on a sorrowful note, but everything eased back into its place because you remember the writer of the diary in your hands being there to comfort you when a dreaded letter came in after the holidays. You continued reading where you left off, wiping away the new wave of tears that had emerged from the memories.

Yesterday, me and [Y/N] went around the castle under the invisibility cloak I gave her. It was fun because I always get to see this little smile on her face that only shows up during these trips. We also went to the forbidden section of the library just because we wanted to look at a few spells that are probably illegal. I did accidentally kill a rat practicing the second unforgivable curse, and [Y/N] helped me hide all the evidence by feeding the dead rat to the Hippogriff she had found in the Forbidden Forest. I swear, if someone saw the way I did the spell and couldn't stop until [Y/N] threw Expelliarmus at me, they would throw me in the deepest pin in Azkaban and I'd probably never be able to see [Y/N] again. Anyway, I have to go back out for dinner now. G'night.

'Tsumu.

You, again, laughed at the man's childishness. You recollect distinctly how scared he was, that he had almost pissed his pants in the Courtyard that night. You had assured him that nothing would go wrong and that your lips were completely sealed, because he was your friend of course, so you had quickly formulated a plan to help him. And yet again, you flip to a new page, one from the fifth year this time.

July 15, 20**

I hate this part every year. Ever since my third year, it sickens me to come back home for summer. I can't see her because she lives in Lambeth while I'm in Westminster with my posh family. It makes me a little angry sometimes that my family is well-known in the wizarding world because this means my summers are filled with whatever my parents want me to do. The train ride back home was definitely not quiet. It was so chaotic(mostly because of the constant bickering between me and [Y/N]) and Kita-san yelled at us at the end. That was the first time I've ever seen him get angry, so he was either really fed up or we were being too dumb. Anyway, I'm gonna miss Hogwarts a lot for the next month or so, because after that I get to see her again. Honestly? Can't wait for the sixth year. I hope she grows taller, because right now, she's quite the midget. I'll write her a letter or two, but I probably won't send all of them. G'night for now.

'Tsumu.

You continue reading it all. Page by page, parchment by parchment, word by word, letter by letter until you finally get to the last page. The one he wrote on the graduation day, where he says that he wants to marry you someday. But you don't get to read it just yet, because he walks into the room with his booming voice and boyish grin.

"[Y/N]! Sorry I'm late, sweetheart! I apparated back home as fast as I could 'cause Coach saw me slack off a lil-"

"So ya actually read it all, huh?" he smirks, walking up to you and crouching down next to you, "Ah, the last page, have ya read it yet?"

"Not the last one," you smile, "—if only I'd read these sooner, we wouldn't have gone through all that mindless drama in seventh year, right?"

"Eh, 'twas kinda worth it in the end," he shrugs, sitting down next to you and placing his thumb on your chin, "Love, you've been crying?"

You shook your head lightly, letting out a small chuckle which to him sounded like the sweetest melody on the face on the planet, "Tears of joy, 'Tsumu. You were a cute teenager in love."

He smiles with his teeth on display, his fading blonde hair falling on his face with perfection as he whispers, "Only for you, darling."

"I'm glad," you mutter, closing in and placing a ghost of a kiss on his lips when you realize, "Wait, shit! We have to take all of this to the House! I'm supposed to leave for Hogwarts tonight!"

"Kiss me first, then we'll talk."

"'Tsumu, you really didn't have to come all the way to Hogwarts to drop me off," you giggle, as the yellow-haired man intertwines his fingers with yours quietly, giggling along with you as he says, "Hey, now yer students get to see yer hot boyfriend that you've been with for the past eight years."

"My stupid boyfriend that did a lot of illegal things in school. You're not exactly a good influence, you know," you mumble, earning a little offended open-mouth Atsumu walking alongside you to your quarters. He continues faking the vexed expression, a hand on his heart as he says, "How could ya wound me like this, baby?"

"I love you though, so it's justified," you say, opening the door and placing your trunk by the bed. He closes the door, leaning on it with his arms crossed over his chest as you set up your things in the room. When you turned around, you saw Atsumu looking at you with the most enamored look in his clove-infused eyes. You sighed, your shoulders immediately relaxing when your orbs land on him by the door. You step towards him, your beige trench coat trailing behind as you wrap your arms around his very muscular figure(now that he's a part of Nottingham Jackals as a Beater).

"You're going to leave, aren't you?" you mumble against his chest softly, as he chuckles out, "Yer lucky ya get to stay in Hogwarts when I'm gone. Everything's gonna remind ya of me."

Before you open your mouth to retort, your boyfriend says, "Don't worry, slug. I'll send ya letters everyday. And I'll come to meet ya twice a month. Maybe you can even let me meet yer students."

"'Tsumu, no-"

"Imagine! Children and teenagers, all of 'em love me to death. They'll love yer class, even more, when you make me meet 'em!" he exclaims, his eyes filled with curiosity, "Also, also! What about the third years? I wanna be there when the boggart lesson goes on-"

"'Tsumu, no. The school won't allow it. Although, my students do come and ask about you a lot because they like your Quidditch playing skills. They're not idiots like me, they won't fall in love with your stupid personality," you chuckle, pulling away from the hug, but still holding his arms with yours. He pouts, pulling you into a soft kiss, but immediately pulling away and winking at you, "I'm gonna see ya in a few weeks. Maybe I'll take ya on a date to Hogsmeade again, we can sneak into the Shrieking Shack again under that invisibility cloak."

"'Tsumu, I'm a teacher, not a student!" you laugh, but he simply says, "If anything, that gives us an excuse!"

Miya Atsumu never expected you to be agitatedly running around in your green-room, trying to find things for your hair and make-up. He chuckles lightly because all the other people in the room can do is shake their heads and sigh at your frantic state. Your maid-of-honor, Kiyoko, tried to calm you down about half an hour ago, but it was to no avail.

Atsumu sent Kiyoko a knowing glance, to which she and all the other bridesmaids stepped outside for just a minute.

"[Y/N]," he says, his voice low but still soothing. You stop in your tracks, turning around and gasping as you looked at him—clad in sweatpants and a white shirt—and widened your eyes.

"Dummy, you aren't supposed to see me just yet! Go away and wait at the altar!" you yell, walking over to him and attempting to shove him outside the room.

Emphasis on the word, 'attempting'.

"You look exactly like what you are right now, a slug. So listen to me, love. I need to give ya something before you start stressin' out all over again," Atsumu murmurs, placing his hands on your shoulders tenderly as he pulls out a book with a leather cover and hands it to you.

You sigh, picking it up as you sit down by the vanity. Atsumu looms behind you, crouching down to whisper next to your ears, "Love, open the last page, will ya?"

You furrow your eyebrows in confusion, turning your head to look at him with exasperation. He places a peck to your cheek, humming indulgently as an indicator for you to continue as he instructed. You sigh again, shoulders drooping low as you turn over the book and open it, and muttering, "Aparecium."

July 2, 20**.

I want to marry [L/N] [Y/N] someday.

Miya Atsumu.

From the last day of the seventh year, and Atsumu continues to explain to you that during the train ride back home when all of you were sleeping, was when he wrote the last entry of his diary, and never opened it again. Because he knew, that he meant every word scribbled on every page.

You sat there, listening to the man with the messy faded blonde hair, losing yourself in his perfect brown eyes all over again. You felt as if you were diving deep into an ocean of pure chocolate, the sweetness and the slight bitterness getting the best of you as you drown—but voluntarily, because drowning was your intention.

"I love you, Atsumu," you say out of nowhere, cutting him off. He stops abruptly, his eyes growing wide and his mouth forming into a pout. His lips form into the brightest smile ever, as if the rays of a thousand suns meeting at one point. His boyish grin melts your heart, as he presses his lips to your forehead and says, "I love you more, darling. Now, take a breather, will ya?"

"Oh, and before I go. Don't disappoint me today, slug. I've been waiting to do this for the past eleven years."

okay y’all i re-listened to the entirety of evermore at like 2 am and went to bed at 3 am so this isn’t really coherent but here we are, qeued up to go,,,so here are my thoughts w/ evermore + tcw because y’all k n o w

1. willow -- strong anidala vibes. taylor swift herself said something about how this song is all about the complexities of desire and. yeah. it shows. // “wherever you stray, i follow” and “i know my train could take you home” and “the more that you say the less i know” and “wherever you stray i follow” and “that’s my man ;)”

2. champagne problems -- strong sad obitine vibes, which @kckenobi screamed about to me last night and i wholeheartedly agree. big vibes of having to leave a relationship because you have to and also...just sad. might have made me cry and my heart feel empty. def. something on repeat. // “your heart was glass, i dropped it” and “your hometown skeptics called it champagne problems” and “you had a speech, you’re speechless” and “how evergreen our group of friends, don’t think we’ll say that word again” and “one for the money, two for the show, i never was ready, so i watched you go”

3. gold rush -- okay big anakin or obi-wan vibes. both? both. this is kinda a stretch but. just the feeling of watching these big heroic figures walk around and quietly wonder about huh. who are they anyways. // “everybody wonders what it would be like to love you” and “i don’t like slow motion, double vision in rose blush” and “my mind turns your life into folklore”

4. ‘tis the damn season -- big anakin and ahsoka vibes, esp. during season 7 help. all about going back to your hometown and kinda wanting to reunite with someone but also knowing that is a bad idea. yes i am sad. // “and it always leads to you and my hometown” and “i won’t ask you to wake if you don’t ask me to stay” and “and wonder about the only soul who can tell which smiles i’m faking” and “we could call it even, even though i’m leaving” yeah i’m not okay either

5. tolerate it -- big sad anakin and obi-wan vibes, and i’ll explain. idk. vibes of just. anakin mayhaps thinking that obi-wan doesn’t care/love him to the same extent anakin thinks he himself does. help. don’t talk to me about this this is my new exile and it shows because i’ve been listening to this on repeat. // “i wake and watch you breathing with your eyes closed” and “you’re so much older and wiser” and “i wait by the door like i’m just a kid, use my best colors for your portrait” and “tell me i got it wrong somehow” and “i know my love should be celebrated, but you tolerate it” and “always taking up too much space or time”, and @kckenobi pointed out that the bridge onwards is from obi-wan’s perspective after rots help “leave us in ruins, take this dagger in me and removed it” and “gained the weight of you and lose it, believe me i could do it” no i’m not okay

6. no body, no crime -- ngl this is a tricky one. this probably belongs in some convoluted au in which padme and ahsoka snap and murder palpatine or something which. you know. i’m kinda down for that. // “i’ve cleaned up enough houses to cover up a scene” that’s all you need to know *aggressive side-eye*

7. happiness -- big, big, big disaster lineage vibes. anakin and obi-wan, anakin and ahsoka, whichever. big sad. all about having really bittersweet memories. “i hurt you, you hurt me, but we had good memories”. // “haunted by the look in my eyes that would have loved you for a lifetime” and “tell me when your winning smile began to look like a smirk?” and “when did all our lessons start to look like weapons pointed at my deepest hurt?” and “there’ll be happiness after me, but there was happiness because of me” and “i can’t make it go away by making you a villain” and “in our history, across our great divide, there is a great sunrise” gives me so much hope??? mayhaps our tcw trio could....could reunite and have a happy ending please

8. dorothea -- this is also kinda a reach, but i see this is like the other side of anakin and ahsoka vibes in ‘tis the damn season. kind of seen from the perspective of someone who’s seeing someone come back to the hometown and ‘oh huh she’s different’ but like. still cares about you, you know? which is very anakin and ahsoka vibes season 7. // “it’s never too late to come back to my side” and “you know, you’ll always know me” and “but are you still the same soul i met under the bleachers?”

9. coney island -- honestly about anyone with anakin. :( it’s just. really sad. destroying something delicate vibes. // “did i shatter you?” and “sorry for not making you my centerfold” and “disappointments, close your eyes” and “but you were too polite to leave me”

10. ivy -- more anidala vibes, tbh? again, stuff about illicit affairs kinda. cheerful but lyrics are not, actually. idk the metaphorical thing that both anakin and padme are already married to are the order and the senate, obvs. // “i’d live and die for moments that we stole on begged and borrowed time” and “it’s a war, it’s the goddamn fight of my life, and you started it” and “i can’t stop you putting roots in my dreamland”

11. cowboy like me -- obitine and/or anidala vibes, i know. never thought i would talk about cowboys to them,,,but the vibes. // “you had some tricks up your sleeves” and “takes one to know one” and “we could be the way forward and i know i’ll pay for it” and “and the skeletons in both our closets plotted hard to fuck this up”

12. long story short -- big obi-wan vibes, also big ahsoka vibes. // “pushed off the precipice, clung to the nearest lips” and “long story short, it was the wrong guy” and “no more tug of war, now i just know there’s more” and “past me, i wanna tell you not to get lost in these petty things” and “your nemeses will defeat themselves before you get the chance to swing” and “i fell from the pedestal” and the transition from “long story short, it was a bad time” to “long story short, i survived”

13. marjorie -- big obi-wan and anakin vibes. i think this song is actually about taylor’s grandmother but right now all i could think of bittersweet anakin and obi-wan help // “if i didn’t know better, i’d think you were still around” and “what died didn’t stay dead” and “you’re alive, you’re alive in my head” and “i should’ve asked you questions”

14. closure -- big anakin vibes w/ lineage fam. just. angry ex vibes. of someone who just doesn’t want anything to do with you anymore. asdfsdfs this is ironic but like. yeah. that was the closest i could think of. mayhaps a stretch but there’s some connecting lyrics. // “don’t treat me like a situation that needs to be handled” and “i’m fine with my spite and my tears” and “i know i’m just a wrinkle in your new life” and “guilty, guilty reaching across the sea that you put between you and me” (this is gonna hit hard if kenobi series speculation is correct and we get obi-wan trying to bring anakin back for one last time)

15. evermore -- honestly gives me obi-wan vibes. // “i replay my footsteps on each stepping stone, trying to find the one where i went wrong” and “this pain would be for evermore” and “can’t remember what i used to fight for” and “i thought of you in the cracks of light, i dreamed of you” but then it transitions from “this pain would be for evermore” to “this pain wouldn’t be for evermore” and ladies and gentlemen, we call that growth and hope!!!

Leave Mal Alone + Shadow & Bone Trilogy Review

OK, here it is my long review about Mal character and why you really cannot hate him. I was kind of shocked of reading people calling him “controlling” “alpha-male with masculinity issues” “abusive” “anti-feminist” etc. etc. First, you all are maybe kind of exaggerating !!! Second, judging someone (fictional or not) without actually understanding what he/she is going through or went through, shows a huge lack of emphaty. Let’s breaking it down together: Mal and Alina are family for each other, loving each other like brother and sister, and once they grew up they started feeling something more. Maybe Alina understands that sooner, while Mal lingers a bit in this new life of super successful hot soldier/tracker (reminder, he is 18 !!! and grew up with nothing so it’s just so human to let the fame kind of taking you away). BUT STILL, he cares a lot for Alina. Beginning of book #1 , the night before the crossing - YES he goes with Zoya (he is single right?) - but FIRST he goes checking up on Alina, because he worries about her and tells her that on the other side of the fold they will be together drinking “JUST THE TWO OF US BECAUSE IT’S ALWAYS BEEN ME AND YOU” (quote Mal). Also, Alina never shared with him her feelings so he might just be as stupid as every boy and not suspecting anything. He might even be already feeling something for her, but afraid of being unrequited . We will never know because we are in Alina’s mind since the book is in her POV. Going ahead in the story, Alina shows her power and is brought to the Little Palace where she struggle a bit but then kind of fall for the Darkling (FAIR, she is human too and you need a lot of strength to resist THAT - also she is single so she can do as she pleases). Like Mal she gets herself little transported by fame which is completely OK, they still care for each other but they are both still single, right? Mal is kind of shocked by that night on the skiff but actually he asks around and tries to find info about her, how she is, how he can reach her and no one answers him. Gossips say she is being tortured, and off he goes on a suicide mission just to have the chance to help her and meet her again. After months in the ice he makes his first kills and loses two friends so HE IS KIND OF TRAUMATIZED, you know?! He arrives finally at the Little Palace, finds her all happy with the Darkling and even though he didn’t have the right he gets mad (again, he is human, traumatized, didn’t quite process yet the love for her, and little overwhelmed.) BUT STILL, After that night, he manages to pull out a long list of things he does out of love and utter devotion for her: - He deserts, giving up his life of successful tracker and knowing he might end up hanged for saving her life; - He is actually the one proposing to get the stag for Alina so she can get stronger and fight (so NO he doesn’t seem he is afraid of her power - NO masculinity issues at all); - They get captured, he is about to die, and yet tells her the he loves her, even the part of her that loves the Darkling (one of the best love lines ever, much butter than the one they put in the show); - After being a little bit on the road, because they did not have much choices, they get captured again, and yet he helps her killing the second amplifier while she couldn’t, even though he was concerned because she told him how actually wearing TWO amplifiers can be dangerous. - She decides to go back to Os Alta with Nikolai without even discussing it with him first (OF COURSE they have to go back and fight but he is wanted and might end up dead so it would have been nice to decide together how and when go back and fight, since you guys are in a kind of relationship) - STILL, he follows her, accepted to hide their relationship for strategical reasons, to be nothing more than a personal guard, they are never alone, they don’t see each other that much, she doesn’t talk to him for weeks about her visions and eventually she flinches when they kiss.

Now tell me, how can a human - a VERY YOUNG HUMAN BEING - profundly in love can bear all of this and not braking down. Yes he turned miserable and gets mad and start drinking and eventually refuses to let her explain but he was just broken and Alina helped a lot in putting him so down (even though I might understand some of her choices and that she felt overwhelmed and alone too). One thing sure, for all the second book I wanted to kick both of them CAN YOU JUST TALK kids ???!!!! However, he eventually pushes himself out of misery, proposing again to go and find the third amplifier for her while she stay safe and sound with Nikolai at the Palace. What then? The Darkling attacks them and while Nikolai runs to safe his family she decides to stay and fight and OF COURSE Mal NEVER leaves her. NEVER. He became a blade, a weapon, just to keep her safe, shutting out his feelings because he finally understand that his profound love in their sad historic circumstances couldn’t be a priority and was just making him act like an idiot, he tells her to marry the prince so she can be a Queen. Ah, major detail, in the end he dies for her.

So NO, I don’t think he can ever possibly be labelled as bad or abusive or controlling, I see just a human (beyond gender) who suffers and makes mistakes along the road but makes up for them quite fast and stays loyal all the time with his emotions and he is just completely devoted to the woman he loves. Please just find me a man like this.

So, concluding my pleading for my beloved Mal and going back to a more general review of the trilogy, I will add that the three books are quite obviosly a love story (every book starts and ends with the girl and the boy, com’on) set up in dark fantasy world. Mal and Alina love story is given to you right away like the main theme of the trilogy. They grow up they make mistakes the fight they suffer and all the time they have to adjust to new circumstances both alone with themself and in their relationship. Sometimes life makes people grown apart but other times the love is so profound and pure that you make it work despite everything.

I really love the ending, because in a world (like our real world planet earth) where love doesn’t matter anymore and humans are just constantly greeding for more power our sweet and strong she-hero eventually choses LOVE. And it was a honest choice, because even though she had lost her powers for major force reasons, Nikolai still wanted her to be his queen and she said no.

(Also NO Mal didn’t ever ask her to give up her power, of course he wished to have a normal life with her without power and responsability but he knew it wasn’t just possible).

I will just say one more thing for those who made it at the end of this long post. Since I finished the books some days ago I kept thinking and struggling over this question: how can I, a 33 yrs old woman (def not a YA) can manage to be so hit by this story? Now I finally have the answer: Alina and Mal are real humans that make the fantasy fictional background - which I love - less important. Leigh has done an outstanding work in builiding and stratifing her characters, even if we are always in Alina’s mind, I had always an incredible emphaty with both Mal and The Darkling just by reading their dialogues with the protagonist, thus in an indirected way. Maybe it’s because I’m quite older than the general audience and life thaught me a bit about understanding the others emotions and story before to judge at all.

At the end, we are thrown in this world without asking and we are just making our best.

Final Omori Update (8 and 9/9)-

•So HeroXMari is canon right?

•Kinda getting SunnyXBasil vibes, I think it would be cute

•Hero. I simp. Mmm. Yes. Simp.

•Okay but like this photo album is so god damn cute omg. I love it so much.

•So... Aubrey’s mom is neglectful and she lives in a pigsty huh...? I can understand the feeling honestly... my house is the same way cause of my mom -all the trash. I mean there’s trash but it’s mostly just clothes. So.. I can relate to that and how she feels. Her room is the only decent place, and even then... mmm... poor Aubrey...

•So we can assume Mari’s leg wasn’t always bad because she was able to carry Sunny home off the bus. We can assume it didn’t drop them off right at their house because it seems their house is at the end of a road? So it probably dropped them off at the beginning of the street. Buses don’t usually go down roads like that.

•Okay but Mari and Hero are just too dang cute omg. I really feel bad for Hero, he really lost the love of his life. Also Sunny in the sand is. So cute. He’s just a vibing little dude. Also Hero went straight for laying in the chest.

•Also also we can probably assume Mari has self esteem issues, because she didn’t think her flower crown was great while everyone else did. So this could also hint toward her depression which might’ve caused her to Kermit... also that was.. the last nice summer...

•SUNNY AND MEWO IN THE BOX ONG MY HEART- Also “Kel’s next victim” also also, the giant stag... I can only think of ACNH.

•1.) I want Mari’s chocolate chip cookies 2.) So Captain Spaceboy and Sweetheart are based off fictional characters from their universe, which makes sense. A child’s imagination will bring their favorite fiction to life. Trust me. I know.

•So Mari is... older than Hero? Or are they the same age and she was just preparing for college more?? Also... she died soon before their recital... :c

•I’ll take a hug Hero!!!

•Okay, so them visiting her grave hit me right in the feels, and I feel terrible for all of them because her death was so hard, and like Hero still blames himself and Kel regrets not visiting more and just... the picnic was so nice... god this episode is gonna make me sad... Also I feel bad simping for Hero because of all this. Like omg the mental toll that must have on him.

•Hero is me when there’s a spider. God I wish I had someone like Kel.

•FINALLY someone addressed that Sunny might’ve had it the worst when Mari died, and that someone should’ve worried about making sure he’s okay. I’m glad it was Aubrey too because she was the one who was like “you guys weren’t there for ME!” Like. No one was there for Sunny either, and that was his sister! Also... I’m starting to get the implications thay Sunny might’ve developed an eating disorder from the depression caused by Mari’s passing? Because this is the second time they’ve mentioned he’s gotten thin.

•.....oh my god.... hold on... I... need to go cry....

•Sunny has finally awakened in Omori’s world! So Sunny and Omori are two different parts of him! And Omori’s the bad part! Yes Sunny! Revolt! Break free! You don’t need White and Black Space anymore!

•... Sunny... killed Mari... and framed it as a suicide... he didn’t mean to... she broke his violin... And the eye thing... represents her dead body, with eyes open... and Basil... knew... So Mari wasn’t depressed... and if Sunny’s friends knew what he did... they’d never forgive him...

•Basil no... my baby boy...

•Okay so in the bad ending since Sunny doesn’t overcome his trauma of killing Mari, and Basil dies, he.. well doesn’t overcome it and let it go, which is why the something follows him into the car, because he hasn’t let go or vanquished the trauma at all, he hasn’t come to terms with it so now it’s going to follow him to the new place, and no matter what it’ll haunt him forever. He isn’t free. The sirens at the credits could allude to Sunny having a.. similar fate to Basil or to the ambulance going to get Basil, or any of the other friends who might’ve fallen victim

•SPEAKING OF SUNNY HAVING A SIMILAR FATE. Uh. Fuck. I don’t even have a comment why are they all dying??? So in Bad Ending 2 Sunny... also Kermits and it’s most likely because of the guilt caused by both Mari and Basil’s death. He inadvertently caused both. White space could no longer keep him going. It pushed him over the edge you could say.

•Okay the one thing that annoys me about all the Sunny dies endings is that his mom like. Just calls. Forever. Like you’d think adventuly she’d go inside and realize somethings wrong but NOPE. Just chill in the car. And the movers don’t even say anything if he’s dead IN THE LIVING ROOM. Wtf. Like I get it’s suppose to be creepy but I would’ve liked to hear a scream of horror? Just change it up a bit?

•Okay so the deciding factor on if you get a good or bad ending is saving Basil.

•Okay this ending has a lot to unpack. So Basil is angry and Sunny for leaving him alone to carry this burden, but also for running away from it. Basil has also been driven to madness because he’s had to keep it all to himself, and he’s trying to convince himself that Sunny wouldn’t have killed Mari and destroyed the pictures. So all this is just weighing on Basil and causing him to get aggressive. Sunny left Basil alone with this secret and the idea of him being completely alone is maddening to him. Sunny is the only person who saw what he saw. The only other person who knows. Basil is also suffering hallucinations as he tries to convince himself that something else did all this bad stuff. He really doesn’t think his best friend could do anything wrong... seems.. kinda toxic actually. Like Basil has been manipulated and gaslighted except he wasn’t.. at least, not by Sunny.

•I love the idea of like. Omori and Sunny having to duke it out, Sunny is fighting his bad and inner/dark thoughts. He’s overcoming them. He’s believing in his friends and he’s not letting his depression control him anymore. Omori is all the bad parts of Sunny. The part that feels the most guilt, but also the side that views him as a killer, and that he killed Mari. He’s the one who thinks he’s irredeemable. In short, he’s Sunny’s depression, and if Sunny is ever going to be able to move on and let what happened in the past go, and forgive himself, he needs to overcome Omori.

•As someone who struggles with mental health problems, it’s really uplifting to hear the friend’s words, even if I don’t really believe it. They’re caring people...

•Main concern is if Sunny and Basil are okay. They were just stabbing each other.

•Yet another ending where Sunny basically succumbs to his depression, and let’s Omori take over.- Okay was not expecting that though...

•Sunny: *gets into position to play the violin* You Lose. (Honest that was really awesome!)

•Okay so this time Omori dies, showing Sunny has overcome his anxieties and has come to terms with his past. He accepts it. He won. OMG DID HE JUST DO A LITTLE TRUMAN SHOW BOW!?

•So Basil really did stab him...

•And he’s finally letting his emotions go, he’s finally crying over his loss and his pain... he’s allowing himself to emote.. I’m so proud...

•TOBY FOX WORKED ON THIS-

•So Basil and Sunny both attacked each other out of defense because of their growing anxieties and shit from keeping this huge secret, but once they came forward with the truth, the burden vanished, they were okay. A weight was lifted off their shoulders and they could try to be happy and be friends again.

Final thoughts- Now I thought this was a really cool and interesting game! I hope it gets more traction because, like I said, it’s very interesting and definatly can throw you for a loop. I went into it knowing there was a twist ending but I wasn’t even correct, and I’d say I’m p good at figuring shit out. But yeah I really liked it! I’m def gonna look up a bunch more just so I can see what I missed, or to just hear other peoples ideas, get a clearer view on the story! Also I’m so looking at the fan art now, omg I’ve been waiting for this.

I’m a little sad Sunny still moved away but I know they couldn’t just not... and I wish we could’ve seen everyone’s reactions. But yeah I still got a few more questions but as for watching the game, that’s it. That’s the end. And I’m happy about it honestly. I can’t say it enough but I really enjoyed watching it and figuring the stuff out! It was cool! (Also the music is a bop.) I’m just glad my children could be happy at the end.

This copy paste from my server will explain it all. Hey there @everyone The name is Pootstablook and i have an announcement to make. I'm going to stop doing anything undertale related from now on and move over to more original stuff, in other words, do the things i love doing the most. My motivation for Revenge and Rusted have pretty much sunk to the bottom, and i honestly don't want to work on those anymore. I had a good ride when it comes to Rusted and Revenge, heck even Undertale in general! But now it's just too much for me. I'm sorry for those who've been excited to see where these two are going, and i'm sad to say that i have to put an end to it. Abubakr, Aquirious, Draco, my entire team in general, i'm sorry for making you do all of this, i mean i really appreciated that you all wanted to work with me, and i'm sorry for drawing the line just like that. And since i'm doing all of this then i can atleast do something in return. I'm not going to give these au's to anyone, but i can reveal what i had in mind for it. From story to designs just so you can have an idea of what it's going to be like. Which is why i'm going to unlock #spoiler-newspaper . Act 1 Lore: Once upon a time, a human child fell down to the sealed place known as the UNDERGROUND. This unknown human somehow survived the fall and started to explore this place, until they met a flower that'd sooner or later be their friend. But that's what most people will think that this human would do. In the end, this human started to kill every living being inside the underground to gain LOVE. What is LOVE you may ask? Well, a certain skeleton once said " When you have enough EXP, your LOVE increases. LOVE, too, is an acronym. It stands for Level of Violence.", at the end of the day, this human succeeded their goal to reach maximum LOVE. From the caretaker of the RUINS, the ROYAL GUARDS, their famous actor and even a lazy skeleton tried their best to stop this human. Some say that the monsters have won multiple times, and yet..... it felt like that the human never died. But there was one monster that didn't get their chance.... to help them. Papyrus the skeleton, a skeleton who've dreamt to become a part of the royal guard, and yet this kind soul wouldn't even hurt a fly. But, he got killed with a smile on his face. Papyrus still wants another chance to confront the human, but sadly he couldn't..... until.[[ACT 1]] We enter a void like area where monsters rests their souls after being brutally murdered. A place where monsters can do anything they want! Meet their loved ones, partake on a good game or two or even look at the floating islands grow bigger every day. But Papyrus didn't seem all that happy as he used to be. It seems like that something bothered him. His friend and his brother tried to ask what's wrong, but Papyrus couldn't explain it. Later that day, Papyrus started to hear voices coming from left to right. He started to get scared and thought that he was going insane! The voices became louder and louder, until the point where it was getting too much for Papyrus to handle. He collapsed into the ground and tried to speak with this mysterious voice, and surprise surprise, the mysterious voice responded to Papyrus. Rise and shine.... Papyrus Papyrus was confused for a second and had no idea what the voice was talking about. It then said. It seems like..... your soul...... has given up..... on you..... Papyrus looked up and saw a disturbing floating head infront of him. He didn't question it, in fact, he was amazed to see such thing. But then the voice kept on going. Allow me.... to help you.... Out of curiosity, Papyrus asked what he meant with that. The floating head claimed that he knew what Papyrus wanted to do when it comes to the human, and apparently, he's willing to help him reach that goal. But that'd be impossible for him right? He's dead and most monsters think that there's no way out. But this mysterious head said that there was a way to get a second chance, and all he needed was Papyrus to cooperate with this mysterious being. He wanted to refuse it, but the thought of getting a second chance to confront the human once and for all was a tempting offer for Papyrus. So in the end, he accepted it and followed his orders to escape this realm. His objective was apparently simple, all he had to do is to find a FLOWER. A flowey? In a place like this? Thought Papyrus, but the head claimed that there was a flower in the darker section of this realm, where bad memories resides. Papyrus didn't like the thought of "Bad memories" but he's willing to risk it, after all, he's the GREAT PAPYRUS! and he's willing to take the chance to confront the human. Papyrus had to use everything he had to go through these bad memories. Disturbing looking bone creatures, rolling meatballs, evil traplings, floating puzzle pieces and a dog? Were obstacles that Papyrus had to pass in order to complete his objective. At last, he finally found it, the FLOWER. Papyrus then asked what he's supposed to do with the flower? The figure responded with. You need to....... DESTROY IT........ Papyrus got shocked and refused immidiately, he didn't want to kill a flower just like that! But the figure told him that it's the only way to recieve his second chance to confront the human. Papyrus pondered for a second, he didn't really what to say or do at this point. But suddenly, this flower started to grow. Papyrus got startled that a small flower could grow so big in a matter of a second. The figure then said. Destroy it.... before it's too late.... Papyrus had no idea what he meant with "Too late", it's just a flower. Roots then grew on the ground and started to attack Papyrus. The flower's petals started to get more pointy and it started to grow thorns on its body. It then got a disturbing looking face that stared him down. Papyrus panicked and tried to calm it down. But words isn't the solution at this point, he had no choice but to listen to the figure's order.... to DESTROY IT.Once Papyrus hit a bone attack on the flowers face..... then everything went black. All he could hear was laughter. He then opened his eyes and noticed that he was back at his home at SNOWDIN. He decided to meet the human later than usual, and actually plan on how he's going to confront the human. But the voice was still there, and told him what exactly he had to do.... and without any hesitation, Papyrus listened and followed his orders. Papyrus is no longer himself anymore. Act 2 Lore: Papyrus tried to prepare himself for the inevitable, he practised his attacks over and over to improve and ends up gaining new ones. How strange it was, that he've gained such power out of nowhere. In fact, he abused it a bit just to see what he's capable of. Since Papyrus didn't show up to the human as he used to before, then Sans took his place to confront them. Sans didn't even try to fight back, he's just telling the human about the consequences for killing innocent monsters to gain something that isn't even worth it. But his words didn't affect the human, and Sans' only option was to stall the human just so the monsters got more time to evacuate. Sans managed to get some time, but in the end..... he failed to stall them longer. He got weak when the human managed to hit a punch directly into Sans' stomach. Sans tried to tell the consequences yet again, he was hoping that some of his words could change the human's mind. But sadly, he failed. He got killed by recieving alot of hits from the human, and his last words was "Go get him..... brother.... wherever..... you are....". [[ACT 2]] The human finally arrived to the JUDGEMENT HALL and it seems like that they've got alot of LOVE, reaching over to Level 17, and yet something felt wrong when it comes to the human. Sans did a good thing when he stalled the human. The human proceeded to walk through the hall and hoped to kill their final victim, ASGORE. But someone was blocking their path. The bells started to ring and an ominous feeling started to go through the humans body. The monster that stood infront of them started to say. NYEH HEH HEH!! GREETINGS HUMAN!! I CAN SEE THAT YOU'RE SURPRISED TO SEE THE GREAT PAPYRUS HERE OUT OF ALL PLACES!! WELL.... AS YOU CAN SEE.... I AM HERE TO GIVE YOU AN OPTION. TWO IN FACT!! BUT BEFORE YOU CAN CHOOSE..... I WANT TO ASK YOU A QUESTION..... WHAT'S THE POINT OF KILLING? IS IT SOME SORT OF JOKE THAT I'M MISSING...? IT'S JUST SOMETHING THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WITH YOU HUMAN.... AND I'D LIKE TO KNOW.... WHY...? I'M HERE FOR YOU!! AND I'M WILLING TO HELP AND LEARN YOU THAT IT'S WRONG!! SO... YOUR OPTIONS ARE.... LISTEN.... OR F-FA-FACE T-THE CONSEQUENCES The human didn't look amused at all and started to take a step forward. Papyrus backed up a bit out of fear. And yet he was brave enough to say.... ..... I SEE..... MY WORDS WON'T DO AT THIS POINT.... BUT.... I CAN MAKE A PROMISE..... AN EFFORT I'M WILLING TO TAKE.... TO CHANGE WHAT'S GOING ON INSIDE YOUR HEAD!! ... AND I WILL GIVE YOU.... A LESSON.... YOU'LL HARDLY FORGET. The battle has begun. * PAPYRUS 35 ATK 50 DEF * The lesson has begun. Act 3 Lore A wild battle between two monsters has begun. Papyrus tried his best to beat the human with all he got. He revealed his unknown powers to the human to the human in order to succeed to beat them and not letting them pass. From a regular blue soul attack.... to a gray one? This soul was known as the "Ping soul", a soul that'd put you back to into place every 3rd second. But after all of that.... Papyrus failed..... [[9999999]] His weapon split into two pieces, and the knife even managed to land a huge scratch on Papyrus' chest. Papyrus collapsed into the ground and started to cover his wound.... But after all of that.... Papyrus started to cry with a smile on his face. He then said. NYEH.... HEH... HEH... AFTER ALL OF THAT.... MY WORDS DIDN'T AFFECT YOU ONE BIT...... IT'S UPSETTING.... BUT I'M NOT MAD..... I STILL BELIEVE THAT THERE'S SOMETHING GOOD INSIDE YOU HUMAN..... I BELIEVE SO...... I KNOW..... SO.... At this point Papyrus would've fade away and return to the realm of the dead..... but.... something happened.... the particles that faded away from Papyrus' body started to come back..... but he twitched violently..... Oh dear.... it seems like our friend is out of commission... that's a shame The human watched the twitching corpse standing on his feet again with a smile..... After long years..... i finally have a body to walk around with..... and it's all thanks to you. The human had no idea what was going on, so they attempted to run towards the twitching corpse and put an end to it once and for all.... without success.... The corpse just took the knife away and shoved it violently into a pillar. Hehehe.... i can see.... that you're not fully done with me..... Then how about we play.... a little game.... The corpse started to laugh like a maniac and it's entire body started to change.[[ACT 3]] The corpse's body started to slowly fade away, piece after piece.... except for the head. The head remained whilst the entire area around started to get.... corrupted.... The head started to grow and grow.... until it was a disturbing floating head.... Human specimen.... I haven't been in this world for so long now..... but i can tell that you've killed alot of monsters.... you've certainly gained lots of LOVE.... NOW IT'S TIME TO PUT IT TO THE TEST!! A bunch of disturbing spinning Papyrus heads started to appear from left to right, they spewed out bones, the word NYEH and even.... meatballs? Papyrus was no longer with us.... A creature that is beyond our reality has taken over the poor soul's body.... and uses it as a puppet.... Now you're facing.... Corrupted Papyrus [[Act 1 sprites]]

Thoughts on 6x01 & 6x02

Season 6 spoilers ahead...

6x01

- Ugh I hate the Spacekru gang up on Clarke... like she’s saved ALL of your asses a billion times, jesus give her a break. Also if you all would just COMMUNICATE we wouldn’t have these issues!! Especially annoyed that Murphy is against her though... like WTF I was sure he’d come around after Bellamy. Surprised yet loved Echo low key sticking up for Clarke though.

- Season 1 parallels!! Miller mentioning “We’re back, bitches” had me smiling so hard. Wish they would have thrown in a callback to the first Bellarke convo with “The air could be toxic” but I guess we can’t have it all...

- Murphy diving into the water and then pulling Emori in with him made me so happy. Also reminded me of the first “mission” on Earth when Octavia jumped in the water and got attacked. I wonder if that crossed Clarke’s mind but she didn’t say anything because no one from that day was there (and 3 of the 5 are dead 😔)

- Shaw, NO! I honestly did not expect that to happen. I more concerned for Raven’s sake though. She is going to be so sad just as she was FINALLY starting to be happy again. Ugh I just want her to have happiness like she deserves but also so she can stop hating Clarke and blaming others for her trauma.

- Okay but Clarke AGAIN risking herself to go after Shaw and turn the fence off... and Bellamy’s “NO CLARKE STAY BACK!” Man, he’s going to continue to have a tough time keeping her alive again...

- God I love John Murphy. From breaking into the houses nonchalantly to singing along and trying to dance with Emori. He’s the best (Now just forgive Clarke already)

- The Bellarke convo about the radio calls was so pure and had me crying I’m so happy. Clarke’s face when Bellamy mentioned them and the relief when he told her that Madi mentioned them... yo she was worried he heard something. Like what did you say on those calls, Clarke??!? Then after she tries to explain them and says he probably thinks she’s crazy and he just whispers “it’s not crazy” I swear my heart stopped. Of course he had to throw in a joke after though because my OTP can’t handle too much serious emotion when it comes to one another. (Like me IRL)

- Omg the eclipse induced psychopathy I was honestly thinking it would happen later from the trailer (idk why) but I’m so glad we get this over and out of the way.

- I love having the adventure squad together again it seriously fills my heart! I’m getting season 1 vibes again by going back and forth from the kids on the ground to the “adults” in space. Love it

6x02

- Okay yes Bellamy, Clarke and Murphy locked in a room, here for it. And you TELL EM Clarke! Finally appreciate her standing up for herself but honestly girl go off you constantly save EVERYONE and they still have the nerve to hate you for the decisions you’re forced to make. I’d like to see someone else try to lead and save the goddamn world. And don’t think I missed the “When I’m in charge, people die. Isn’t that what you said?” subtle line directed at Bellamy. Damn... 125+ years later and Hakeldama is STILL a major plot point.

- Damn, Octavia really hates herself behind this mask. She was asking for that fight, the pain is the only thing making her feel alive. But please, the whole “I saved you” shit... come on. She’s so power hungry and delusional. If anyone saved them it’s fucking Clarke.

- Raven is so smart to wake Diyoza. I love how Diyoza immediately goes into war mode and makes a plan of attack. She is def needed and should become an essential member of the team. Although I appreciated Raven’s input on the plan to make sure it was too ~murdery~. They actually made a pretty good team.

- Wasn’t that surprised that Echo couldn’t handle the psychosis and tranquilized herself. Now comparing to how Clarke’s psychosis was only attacking herself and she STILL pulled through it... Just saying it’s clear who is mentally stronger and there is a reason Clarke has been a natural leader all this time. Aka she’s never been selfish and is always trying to help everyone else.

- My poor Clarke! Her psychosis of her mom telling her to just kill herself was heartbreaking. Also makes me wonder why that was her reaction to the toxin. Like it says it makes you turn people you love and that was clear for Emori & Murphy (& Bellamy with Clarke later hehe), but rather than that, she goes after herself. And we damn well know that she loves her friends, especially Bellamy, so I’m curious to know if there is a reason why.

Best/worst first line?

Best: Keith & Lance's Island Adventure. ok the title is bad but this line? this really sets the tone for whole fic. you know what youre getting yourself into here.

When Pidge invited Keith to a fully-funded graduation party aboard the Holt family boat (“the smaller one, anyway,” she’d said), this is not exactly what he'd pictured: three of them standing on a wobbly dock, packed bags at their feet, sky cloudy and gray, while the Holt siblings stand on a little ledge off the back of the boat and deny entry.

Worst: ive got two for this lol

at the end of many worlds: even i have to read this a couple times to figure out what i was trying to say. at least you know youre in for pain...

Keith’s mother shows up to interrupt movie night often enough that, this time, Keith almost doesn’t realize anything’s wrong. Almost, because she’s silhouetted by the movie, but she’s clutching her arm and panting for breath, and in the thin edge of light around her he sees a wet and vibrant red.

Divergence: because all your friends being dead is EXACTLY like losing at dodgeball. yeah, theres a reason i abandoned this one.

Hunk always hated playing dodgeball. Not because he was bad at it--though he was--but because he always ended up the last one standing, and therefore the only target for the entire other team. It was due to a tendency to hang unnoticed in the back, he knew, but that didn't change the sickening, empty feeling of looking around and realizing there's no one left but him, and there's no way he can win. Only wait for the inevitable.

This, Hunk decides, is a lot like that, only, like, a billion times worse.

Best/worst last line?

Best: The Pining-Plant. there are a few others that were cute too but this one is also good out of context so

And then the pod swishes open and he's scrambling to catch Pidge as she stumbles out. She clings to his arms to steady herself and his heart swells.

"Falling for me again, huh?" he asks, and she groans loudly.

"Let me go, I'm getting back in the pod," she says, and he laughs. He doesn't let go, and neither does she.

Worst: if im bad at titles, im worse at endings. most are bad. i suspect the ending to “Rest” is terrible but i cant bring myself to even open that shit again so: Believe Me. if weather were a recurring theme in this fic, itd be fine, but as is its just... a weird note to end the fic on lmao

Hunk rocks back on his heels. "We aren't counting this as our official first date, right?"

"I dunno," Keith says, and now he smiles at the rain instead of frowning. It shows no sign of easing up, but whatever—they're soaked anyway. "This seems pretty good to me."

“...All right.” If nothing else, it’ll make a good story. And, Hunk had to admit—he’s pretty happy with how it’s turned out, rain and all.

But next time, he's double-checking the forecast, just in case.

Looking back, did you write more fics than you thought you would this year, less than you thought, or about what you predicted?

more than i expected! considering ive been in grad school all year!! i wrote about the same amount wordcount-wise in 2017 which i spent only half in school so. idk how i managed it.

the anonymous fic was a surprise but im not gonna talk about that lol. otherwise... nah, its all been my usual stuff.

"I know we can't stay here on Earth forever, 'cause we're paladins, and there's still stuff out there we gotta do. And I know you probably want to stay because this is your home—but you're my home, and if we gotta go, at least you'll have me, good or bad." He grins crookedly. "Or rocket science. Whatever happens, I'll be there."

well t6p gets a shoutout, but its not the writing thats the hard part for that. uhhh ive struggled with parts of blackbird. i remember k&l’s island adventure giving me a LOT of trouble, i think i posted late lol

anything short uhhh for all the infinite realities, i kind of just sat down the other day (actually i was in bed but) and was like “im gonna write this” and then in the morning i just sat down and wrote it in one go. i dunno if id call it fun, but it was easy. t6p is super fun to write but, as mentioned, drawing it sucks.

Did any stories shift your perceptions of the characters?

no... my perceptions probably have shifted but not due to anything i wrote in particular. i did talk myself into liking allurance with a prompt fill, though, but im not sure that was 2018...

XD theres def at least 2 of us, maybe more tho. im NOT the anon from the last ask, but dragons gate idea! holy shit. this is the Dream Scenario, tell me more. like i think the trio would be way more comfy staying knowing they could visit home whenever they wanted. how do encounters with the other future kids go? i imagine that tho they bicker they actually care about one another quite a bit? do the royal sibs get shovel talked?

Multiple!!! Anons!! I guess I’ve been suspecting that for a bit now but it’s finally been #confirmed and I’m still as surprised as if it were day one, lol. I’ve been addressing some asks as though they’re all from the same anon when they’re probably not. Whoops! At least I can be more careful from here on out ;)

Dragon’s Gate Scenario (where the timelines between Nohr and Ylisse actually match up) is best scenario because allowing the Trio to visit their family and and friends without leaving Nohr behind makes my heart warm and happy. I agree that they’d be wayyyy more comfy with this ability. (Also buckle up bc we’re about to talk about some timeline stuff right here)

I’m pretty convinced most the fe13 crew thinks the Awakening Trio is dead by now, tbh. Which makes me so sad!!! And I don’t want it to be true!! But from what it seems, Anankos showed up right when all the future kids were gonna split ways and was like “please save my kingdom” and threw a paper with where to meet (probably wraped around a brick or something and it nearly hits Inigo, lmao) and then he left. So Owain, Inigo, and Severa go off to check it out, but?? They probably didn’t except to be gone for literal years? Because it’s definitely been years.

I think Selena makes some comment that implies she remembers Corrin as a young child but that feels a little too long for me/they still look pretty young in-game, so to me, the Trio has probably been in Nohr for like five (5) years or so? That’s just personal opinion. That number can change, but it’s for sure been years.

When they meet, Anankos is pretty explicit about the fact if they’re going to help him, they have to leave Right Now. No time to send a letter or say goodbye or anything. Instant decision. And the Trio makes the mythical heroic one, the sacrificial one, but at what cost?

It takes a month to travel from Yllise to the meeting place, so all the parents were probably expecting to hear back from their future kids after like a month. And then they… didn’t.

Some of them probably keep hope. Lissa insists that she’d know if her son were gone, she’d feel it, and most believe that she thinks so but Maribelle knows she worries. And with how close Maribelle and Lissa are, Owain and Brady probably grew up together, practically brothers, and Brady’s doubts eat at him like a black hole and he cries practically every time he thinks about it, about the letters he’s never gotten, about the travels they didn’t get to have together now that the war was over, and Owain’s dead, probably, because of something stupid or heroic or both and Brady wasn’t even there to heal him, couldn’t even do that, so useless and—

Sometimes Cynthia sits with him and doesn’t try to cheer him up when he blubbers and at least once she mentions that they aren’t her kinds of heroes, but Owain always liked the type that showed up at the very last second. She’s kinda hoping he’ll still jump out at some point. Who knew being a lone hero was so lonely? She doesn’t say anything after that, and then Brady’s all out of tears.

Olivia practices dances that require two people and waits for her grown son to come home, knowing he probably won’t. Her baby isn’t big enough to dance yet, and that’s amazing and she loves this little bundle of joy and the future she’s going to have with him that another version of her didn’t reach, but she still misses Inigo. Gerome wanted to live a life of solitude with Minerva and the other wyverns and he got it. He sees the other kids the least out of anyone and he knows better than to expect anything good out of the world even with the cruelest future averted, but even he sometimes catches himself staring at his open palm, trying to remember how Inigo’s hand felt in his own when the fool was trying to convince Gerome to come back in time, please, and then when Gerome relented, in the new world Inigo was always pawing at him anyway to come visit these women or that event and—

Gerome has been stuck in the past long enough. He has to look ahead. His hand aches.

Noire was friends with Inigo and Sevena both, and maybe she had a crush on both of them, maybe. Or at least the potential for a crush. Or something adjacent to one. She loved them both so fiercely, the way only dying things loved (because they were all doomed from the start up until they weren’t), and at some point it didn’t matter if she teetered on the edge of romance or not, she loved them. Inigo always flirted with every girl under the sun but her, but it never mattered because in the end she always worried over him anyway. He never learned. And she misses the way Severa would fuss over her too. Sometimes she still wakes up in the night and wishes Severa were there to guide her, even though she’s long since past any need for hand-holding or fussing. She still wants it.

(Sometimes she makes a cake and wonders what Owain would have named it. The sugar always tastes sour those days.)

Cordelia knows better than anyone how greedy war can be, what it can take within seconds. The problem with that is that the war is supposed to be over, but she seems to have lost her daughter anyway. She’s broken her promise never to leave her daughter alone again. Maybe it’s fate; maybe Cordelia is always meant to be the lone survivor. She wishes a lot of things.

Kjelle hasn’t touched makeup since the time Severa tried to teach it to her and she forgot more important things, like how to hold a shield. Sometimes she catches herself staring at the lines of kohl on other girl’s faces and wondering what Severa would have thought, though. Usually that leads to chopping wood and practicing stances for hours on end until she can’t feel her fingers anymore. Kjelle’s never been much for words or contemplation outside the material—what would this move do against that one, is her armor the proper weight still—but she catches herself wondering what Severa would say about trinkets in the store windows more often than she would like. Laurent and Severa have always been opposits, but it worked, somehow, for them, even if it led to bickering more often than not. She forced him out of his comfort zone, and he tempered her, or so he thought. Perhaps Severa would have matured naturally with age. Laurent can come up with a thousand hypotheses now, but he’s never going to know the truth. Not anymore.

And it’s not just them, it’s everyone. It’s Nah missing chasing Inigo around when she got mad at him, though she didn’t really mean it. It’s Yarne missing Severa’s perseverance, her constant push at him to do better. It’s Lucina missing her cousin, who she always admired with the imagination she didn’t quite have and the bravery she shared with him. It’s everyone. They all miss each other in a hundred different ways, and the Trio misses them and home like a drowning man whose adapted to the ocean but can still taste the salt.

Uhhhh, that got sad, but anyway!! You’d bet everyone would be ECSTATIC to find Owain/Severa/Inigo alive and well. There would be many a tear. Kjelle would probably punch something. Brady would try to yell at them but he’d be sobbing too hard to actually say anything. Nah would roar with all the power of the dragon she is, and everyone’s parents would hold them hard and not want to let go. Lucina would beam and Gerome would let go of the little string of tension that had been wrapped around his heart for the past few years and Laurent would have to compose himself and Cynthia would be doing flips, and you know there’d be so much yelling. So much. The story would have to come out in bits and pieces because they’d constantly be interrupting one another, on both sides.

I’ve definitely been focusing on the sadder parts of this idea and not the happier ones, so while this answer is getting long, let me try to fix that real fast.

There’s guaranteed to be a lot of fussing over the Trio, who are now like 5 years older than when they last left and maybe? possibly? still disguised with Anankos’ magic? Maybe also that vanishes when they step through the Gate. Unknown. What is also guaranteed, however, is how much fussing the Nohrians get when visiting officially as a mixed group of royals and the Trio’s BFs/GFs.

Xander charms the pants of Olivia, hands down. He’s genuine and kind and charming, and when his back is turned, Olivia looks at her son and blushes because hot damn. Inigo picked a catch. Inigo sees her look and wants to sink into the floor, but she’s not wrong. Also he feels 12 all over again. Olivia offers to dance for him and Inigo wants to join in and he also wants to watch and he’s also too shy to want to dance in front of anybody, even just Xander and his mom, and it makes for an interesting visit for sure.

Leo passes Aunt/Other Mother Maribelle’s Scrutiny Test, but Niles, for all the effort he’s putting in to make a good impression, probably doesn’t. Owain insists Niles isn’t really that bad, he’s loyal like nothing else, and that’s at least a benefit in Maribelle’s book. She’s still suspicious of his seemingly shady character and all the effort he’s putting into looking good for her (because the fact he has to put in effort at all is suspicious to her, and it would have been suspicious if he were a prince or a farmer or anything other than a thief turned royal retainer. The only reason she can’t pin anything on Leo is because he keeps pulling out obscure knowledge to answer all her probing questions and has only the utmost manners. She’s waiting for him to make a cultural faux pas), but Owain is grown now. He can make his own decisions. Besides, if Lissa isn’t complaining, she can’t either. Lissa loves Niles and Leo both. Lissa maybe catches them unawares with the old “bucket of frogs over the doorway” trick, though. She hasn’t changed.

Cordelia’s happy to meet whoever her daughter loves, so long as they give Severa the love she deserves and pretty obviously craves. Not that Cordelia can talk, since she’s been absent from Severa’s life long enough too. She just worries like any normal mother. That Beruka girl is a little stony, but Camilla seems to have enough love for the both of them combined, even if she is a little intimidating too. Cordelia is mostly satisfied. She tries to keep her back straight when they’re looking at her, though. She’s never been one to be intimidated, but she wonders how Severa’s been faring in the seemingly dark land of Nohr. Well, if Severa has people she cares about there, she figures her daughter must be doing pretty well.

(P.S. I can do more specific reactions if there was something you had in mind! I’m not sure anyone would give a Shovel Talk because I’m not too much a fan of that trope? I feel like it disregards the agency of whoever the Talker is trying to “protect”. I’d say Kjelle might give one, but she might just end up admiring Camilla’s muscles instead. Henry might (for whoever you picture him the father of), albeit unintentionally. I think it’s canon Henry would do Literally Anything asked of him for those he loves, so I can see that fact slipping pretty easily into conversation, even accidentally.

The one most likely to intentionally pull a Shovel Talk move is Noire, probably. Against Xander, even though she likes Xander. Because Inigo never really did learn in the army, and she doesn’t know if Laslow’s learned anything yet. Probably not.)

tl;dr the Kids all Love each other So Much. They grew up together in a destroyed world and at the end of the day, they all know they always have each other, and the Trio being missing is like a hole in their hearts even when the rest of the fe13 kid cast are all on their separate travels

You: And then I also want like some of the people who faulted Evan to just have the lies they trapped him in kind of exposed and for some other characters to have to face things they've done

You: Like the number one question I have is why did he throw a printer

Stranger: i dont remember that, when did that happen??

You: my number one theory is that Jared's actually sort of a bully? Or Connor always needed help and Larry never let him

You: and Connor, little seven year old willow boy Connor asks the teacher if he can lead the line and the teacher tells him no and everything Jared said is true in that moment because he's Seven

You: So Connor throws the printer because he's not all right any time and Jared Makes It Worse throughout the rest of his life

You: It is and I just feel awful because?? He's practically fended for himself since he was a kid and his dad was gone and now his mom- his mom hates him, the Murphy's hate him and ALANA was the one who fucked that up and Jared hates him and he was never really friends with him till after Connor died and yeah, Connor dying made his life okay- not great, but okay- and it all started because the Murphy's refused to listen when he tried telling the truth

You: DEH is the story also of how a mentally ill kid is used up and the people around him never listen when he needs help and betray him through the lies they've forced him into

Stranger: It is, and that's why people relate to it

Stranger: and thats so sad, but it's good that if people understand it, it can change for us

You: and like how it took a dead figment of his imagination for us to realize that he didnt fall

You: Like a bunch of scribbled up suicide notes but shows aren't supposed to have them in them really

Youngblood Album First Impressions

These are my initial thought after listening to the album for the first time.

Youngblood

I was at work when the studio version of this song first dropped, I was standing in the foyer as I waited for campus transportation to arrive. I was familiar with the song because I had listened to live recordings to prepare me for my concert, which at the time was three days away. My jaw dropped. The live version was good, but the studio version was a killer. This song is a deserves to be danced to, HARD. In concert, I don’t feel like this song goes as hard, and for that reason, I prefer the studio version. It’s funny because I thought this song went hard, I WAS NOT PREPARED.

I think this was an excellent title track and song to start the album. It encapsulates the feel of the entire album from the production, singing, and the lyrics.

Favorite Lyrics:

“Surrender my everything/'Cause you made me believe you're mine“

This line is so vulnerable and it tugs at my heartstrings.

“When you looking at those strangers/Hope to God you see my face”

I am a sucker for these lyrics after making eye contact with Luke during the concert, but I also relate this to the crush that at had at the time, and the friends that are no longer friends.

Want You Back

When I first listened to this song I was like wHo iS tHiS bAnD?? I think this was a good lead single (had they known the success of youngblood that might’ve been better, but it might not have gotten as popular if it came out of nowhere) to introduce the new song. Compared to rest of the album this song is fairly tame, I’ve listened to it so many times that ofc this is 5sos. I just wow I’m so proud of them (imma try not to write this through the entire post bc thats basically what I did on twitter all night)

Favorite Lyrics:

Is it tears or just the fucking rain? (who am I liking explicit lines, I am a changed woman)

And the way that I used to make you laugh/'Cause you know every morning I wake up/Yeah, I still reach for you/I remember the roses on your shirt/When you told me this would never work

Lie to Me

Out of the non-singles performed on tour (+valentine, talk fast, moving along), this one is my favorite. I fell in love with it instantly. It makes me think of Come Back… Be Here which is my second favorite Taylor Swift song. Ngl, hearing the studio version was a tad disappointing because I was hoping that there would be piano in the song, even though why would there be? Lol. It’s not like there was piano in the live version. Listening to the studio version made me understand the boys when they talk about the contrast the sad lyrics with the happy beachy vibe instrumental. I still LOVE this song, it was just a bit of a shock because I had unrealistic expectations for the studio version (I think I was thinking closer to Ghost of You vibes), regardless, I will request they release a piano cover of the song. The short clips of Luke on the piano is not enough. The harmonies in this song are so good and my hear hurts over the lyrics.

There is violin in this song and that needs to be appreciated. There’s also a certain sound at the end of the chorus that sounds like something else but I can’t remember what.

Valentine

This song took me a while to get into. 1) The rhythm is very different from anything else I have heard by them 2) The word choices in the chorus, there are some words that automatically turn me off of songs they just sound cringy to me. After listening to the song enough I have gotten us to it and enjoy the song.

I don’t know why it took me so long to realize, well I do, it’s because I had to get used to the lyrics, but this song is HOT. Another good song to perform on tour to introduce how SEXY this album is, literally. It’s funny because I normally am not a fan of albums when they’re too sexual but I am so in love with this album and they also address the topic in a classy, normalizing way, that doesn’t just focus on being horny, there’s an additional psychological dimension within their song.

Talk Fast

This was the only song they sang on the tour that I hadn’t heard the studio version, my jaw was on the floor (I mean it was for most songs but lol). This was my second favorite non-single song they performed on tour, it has a fun ‘80′s inspired feel. The bass (and the drums) stand out in this song.

Moving Along

This song also took me a little while to get into, besides the beat, I think it has to do with the more talk quality of the song. And again, the interesting lyrics. But now you see me bopping. I feel like they chose very unique songs to perform on tour and I appreciate that it also gave me the time to love them, so now I can properly enjoy them now that the album is out.

For this song, my favorite lyrics has to do more with what part of the song is the most fun to sing along to.

If Walls Could Talk

This is the first new song that I heard and it was so exciting. From the first listen I knew that this is going to be one of my favorite songs. Which makes me scream because this is a straight sex song. This song just makes me smile and makes me want to dance.

This is the first song that Ashton has a proper feature and it makes me so happy :) I love the drums and the piano in this song. Michael’s guitar part during most of the song brings a lightness during the song but then during the bridge it brings the gritty, we're getting down and dirty aspect to the song.

-Disclaimer- I will not talk about bass enough through this post bc I do not have the best ear for bass, I am just not as familiar with the instrument. I can tell in some songs, but in others, I have to listen very closely but even then I don’t necessarily hear it (I mean I’m pretty sure Cal will be playing the piano in this song so... it makes sense)

Favorite Lyrics:

Bodies are hoping to get addicted to sound

I love this line. This is a song that makes you want to put your head back, dance and get lost in the music. It is a perfect representation of the song.

If these walls could talk, I'd hope they wouldn't say anything/Because they've seen way too many things

This lines really brings perspective. I find this song to be very vulnerable. The line is saying that it’s seen everything you’ve done within these walls, the sex, the desire, but also you break down crying, the look of falling in love, anger, and frustration as you hit the wall… The walls know your everything.

Better Man

Another Taylor Swift reference? Lol. But actually, this song reminds me of Ed Sheeran. I even feel like how it’s sung gives me ed vibes, the guitar, down to the mhhh.

This song is so cute.

Favorite Lyrics:

New friends again and again, gone when the morning comes/Demons I try to defend, but I couldn't get enough

This line stood out right away it was sad and relatable.

Wrapped in your arms, I swear I'd die for you

Another fav. This song goes so hard. It reminds me a little bit of ONE OK ROCK. There is a heavy guitar part, Ashton kills the drums at the end, and there's a shaker?? in this song too.

I mean... this is about Luke. It can easily apply to the other boys, but there’s a reason why this is a Luke dominate album.

I love how Calum sings this line

I like a lot of lines in the album, the first verse is a standout, idk, this is a very sad relatable song.

Why Won’t You Love Me

Lol the first few seconds makes me think of Chole by Emblem3

This was the first song where I was still and entranced while listening to it. This is a very cinematic song, which is very beautiful but also makes me think of someone (cough cough) staring out a rainy window.

While I have never been in a relationship I can relate to this song, specifically to friendship. Sometimes people change or need something better even if nothing actually went wrong. I think this is something important to remember with any relationship, sometimes “It’s not you, it’s me” is as true as it gets.

The ooh at the end is cute.

Woke Up In Japan

I can’t help but think about my time in Japan while I listen to this (Even though I am actually visualizing China bc we were in a hotel for a short time, while the dorm we were in Japan was more like an apartment). This song is good, they lyrics standout the most, but it defs doesn’t stand out as much as other songs. It’s an interesting contradiction that I am trying to wrap my head around. It’s all over the place. The song is about amazing sex, the ecstasy of a night out while being in a bad mental place in another country. (even though japans probs metaphorical in this context)

This is another song that does stand out too much but it’s still GOOD.

This is a masterpiece.

Michael starting of the song. Yes. This song is funky and fun. I really enjoy the instrumental arrangement in this song, Ashton’s drumming goes hard, mikey’s guitar solo, cal on the piano. It’s amazing. This isn’t my #1 but it’s defs up there (as with the next to songs)

I don’t think I’ve enjoyed an album so much since Made in the AM and that was back in 2015. Well, this will all I will be talking about for a long time. So I am sorry in advance.

Lineup Lamentations - GW22 - Happy New Year Edition

Our Transfers, Captains, and Starting 11s for the week.

Extra long lambs this week because it’s a podless GW and I guess we have many things to say as well as many doubts. Ok here we go :)

WALSH

TRANSFERS:

OUT: Lukaku GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY TEAM, Paul, and RLC

IN (For -4 points): Quaner, Alli, and Eriksen

The Jesus injury gave me some pause over the plan to go heavy on Spurs attack for the double but in the end decided meh fuck it. I can always go for Aguero after he plays Liverpool if it seems a prime thing to do. A little bit worried about City scoring for fun without Dilva and possibly without Kevin. My team would still have the same problem of being thin if I did go for Aguero in for Lukaku so am gonna restructure and get in there with a big move this week for the double.

Alli was automatic as I've been feeling how he's been looking lately. Eriksen v Son was a close one for me. Son explosive, but has the slight shout of being rested whereas Eriksen seems pretty nailed regardless. Going to go for the minutes play here. Little bit of nostalgia for me as well getting in Alli and Eriksen who were in my GW1 squad and did me well back in the day.

I am a bit worried about Quaner playing this GW but at this point I just want to get the cheapest guy possible and he seems a good first choice lad. Also feel like Huddy aren't the hugest shout to significantly reinforce in the transfer window in attack so hopefully he keeps it up.

I'm keeping Stephens over RLC for the simple reason that RLC could be knocked and miss out. Points this GW feels enough of a reason to keep Stephens over RLC. RLC looks like a really bad FPL pick with Benteke in and him playing in a more reserved role anyway so he's off. Had a couple of tidy returns for me so thanks bro but see you later.

GK:

Adrian goes. Woah. First non-Pope time at GK for me for a long fucking time. Feels weird but also good. DGW keeper always a good guy to have and WBA at home seems as good a clean shout as you can have at this moment. If he gets 8 or so points it would be very nice.

DEF:

Five at the back again for me. Triple Chelsea defense are in as per....Christensen, Azpil, and Moses....which much to my fucking nightmare was only 1 Chelsea defender in GW21 after Conte subbed Moses before 60'.... it’s their first difficult on paper fixture since I've gone with the treble. But, looking at how fucking shit Arsenal have been a clean doesn't seem that insane here.

Phil Jones god and legend of the baps is the most auto thing of life. Preached patience with United defense on the last pod and it came in straight away which was tidy. Everton are the worst attack possible so fuck them. Clean seems likely.

Last guy is the Dunk of Lewishire. Dunk and BHA defense has been a massive unheralded star of the FPL season for me and any of you who have been rotating a BHA defender for some time. They welcome the completely rudderless and injured to fuck Bournemouth side. Get in Lew my absolute son.

MID:

New old friends Alli the middle fingering diving cunt is back in alongside Eriksen. Not sure how long I'll keep, or who will get fucked off first, but Coutinho will be coming in soon for one of these lads. Just bought lottery tickets in Spurs attack and if they are able to put in between 5-7 goals over the two games I'll be absolutely BUOOZZINNNNN and also probably flying. Kill to fly, fly to kill.

Salah looks like he's a little bit dead, but since I bought him at 9m removing him was not even a small consideration. Will just have to rely on the bench if he doesn't go.

Finally, Raz is in and looks a dead cert for a start after not featuring today. Good guy Raz.

FWD:

Just the solitary Harold this GW. Standard 541 here at FMLFPL HQ nothing to see lads.

BENCH ORDER:

Quaner, Stephens, Niasse.

Bunch of lads. Who knows who will play and who will not play but I have three guys on the bench so getting a full team out looks very likely. Good job by me.

CAP:

TRIPLE CAP Kane.

It's time for me. I want to use the chip on Kane and the fixtures are as good as you can hope for. No assurances that Spurs will have another DGW and even though there is 1 day off between I am willing to take the risk using the chip this GW. It will allow me to pump the WC the week OF a future DGW instead of the week before which is pretty tidy and honestly I think we overrate the chips a LOT. Sure they are good, but it's not the end all be all of life.

I think illness whatever is dumb and I'm willing to risk that he will make it for both games. He's on fucking form and has just had a nice rest. Harry will Harry, triple cap will triple cap. Let's go Kane drink the nectar of the hat trick gods and keep pumping the goal with your jizzum.

I took a hit, my first hit of the season last week, and it resulted in a net +6 points (including the -4) and a nice green arrow. MY BLOOD IS PUMPING IN THIS MOMENT!!!!!!!

Hit #2 quickly followed today and oo baby I’m feeling nice... My hands were shaking and I had the cold sweats with a beautiful woman in the nude calling out to me... but I slighted her and instead looked up West Ham defensive statistics and compared Arnie to Lanzini for a couple of hours and took the -4; the only thing that’s real...........!!!

Richar my beautiful Brazilian lover our fling has flung. Obrigado for the points mate but you have City and there’s a double gameweek on the cards. Two fixtures, albeit one of them bad vs. Spuds, and I just had to go for Arnie.

Lejeune being dead in what will be the most heavily rotated GW of the season with Salah already ruled out and RLC probably missing out lead me to the second transfer and the -4; I just needed some fucking guys. The upside is there to make up the -4 so I’m tagging along with everybody else and it leaves me with four doublers for the DGW which feels pretty nice. So let us go.

GK:

DDG and United up against the Eve feels like as easy a cleansheet fixture as you can get. Tidy 7 pointer from him last GW and faith restored.

DEF:

Kicking off with Jones up against the same blues of Eve should be easy workings. And you know he’s Phil Jones king of the fucking BONES. 9 pointer what else is new. Good to have you back Philip.

Otamendi straight the fuck in last week with an 8 pointer as he seems to do every week. Took the shittiest ass pen from Milivojevic but I will happily cash those points in. Ota such a great pick - maybe a double up on the way soon with Stoner. Would make a lot of sense to not keep clean here with like a Richarlison brace or something since I transferred him out but ya know, whatever.

Christensen I have starting but who knows if Conte will follow suit. No one knows a thing about Christensen our Chelsea darling boy and if he can find a way into the 11 but we can hope. He’s top quality but blah - it’s concerning - getting another Chelsea defensive asset is at least 1 million away so it’s fucking hard to do. Come on BOD get in there bro. I don’t care it’s Arsecast, you start Chelsea defenders confidently in all fixtures. That’s how they do it.

Lastly new lad Ogbanzo beans should go twice for me. If they clean against West Brom will just be suuuuuch a huge boost of life. If he’s on 2 or less points going into Spurs will feel sad and bad. Meh. Never know. Two bites of the apple get me something Oggy.

MID:

Gonna start with the man the myth the Egyptian fucking god legend Momo Salah. He’s in - of course he’s in would be foolish and disrespectful to bench him - but Klopp has ruled him out for 2ish weeks which is a bummer. So he’ll probably be back for Man. City but we’ll get more autosubs in this week. At the end of Lambs we’ll each post our benches too since it’s going to be rotational hell.

Raz goes straight in Home Watford sexual fixture on the table - didn’t start earlier today so should be in vs. Watford and hauling as usual. Although we’ll see how good/bad City’s attack looks with no Kev and no Daveed (who knows with Daveed).

SUON my Korean boo, my differential treater, been a huge part of my run of greens these Heung-Min points. Got a double fixture on the cards for this GW and I’m just hoping for a combined more then 90 minutes - that’s all we can realistically hope for. And he’s been fantastic. Love him. Should bring in some points.

And Arnie the new guy in the squad. Scary to transfer in a guy who you might want to transfer out very very soon - never feels quite right - but he’s got a double this week and is bang on form starting OOP up top. Lots of shots and big chances and creating shit and touches in the box - TIT ME ARNOLD ARNAUTOVIC!

FWD:

Two guys leading the line in this moment. Alvy Morata the absolute shit-house I don’t know how fucking hungover he must’ve been to not get anything in a 5-0 thrashing but fucking hell. At least I didn’t cap him and avoid that nightmare but I still rate him - but it’s troubling. He might have to go soon. For now I’m just chilling he’s still a good pick and nailed and whatever. Arsecast can’t defend much.

The other guy is Lord Harold of Kane. He’s an absolute must this week - the most must of any guy in any week that I can remember. He was sick a few days ago he’s probably fucking fine. Maybe I’ll be awake until 5-6am and see some sort of additional news but even without the news I think Kane is fine. I expect somewhere around 150 minutes from him this GW and with those fucking fixtures that is pretty insane to think that he will not at least double return... I mean no one is guaranteed points but fucking hell Harold is a great horse to bet on.

BENCH ORDER:

I’m sat on Duffy, Quaner, RLC in this moment.

RLC is a problem and think he should be third on most benches. Duffy good shout at a clean probably coming in for Mo and then Quaner likely to get some minutes even he doesn’t start for a one point cameo if anyone else is rested/rotated in my team. Feels fine.

CAP:

Earlier today I really wasn’t feeling good about the triple cap - mostly just apprehension that everything is coming too fast and I’m gonna fuck something up. It’s been a crazy festive period and I’m just like ok, I need to chill, the green arrows are flowing, I just need to fucking chill.... But fuck that shit.

I struggle to come up with any STRONG arguments to NOT triple cap Kane and that’s where we’re left. The only two arguments to not triple cap Kane are:

1. Only one day off between fixtures - can he really play significant minutes in both with one day off.

2. Illness gate / yellow flag / no news.

But those are fucking REEEAAAALLLY weak arguments for me. Illness gate I mean that was a few days ago now. He’s probably fucking fine and not sick anymore like an asshole - and he has Monday off as well to rest up. And speaking of rest up I think he’ll just have to play 70ish in both (maybe more if they’re not winning) and tough it out because he’s not a fucking baby he’s a fucking man. And he’s resting now and he’ll rest after.

The arguments FOR triple capping him in my opinion are pretty overwhelming. Best guy, check, incredible form, check, most important player for the team, check, on pens, check, exceptional fixtures, check... What more do you want? Goal involvement, check, mouth breather, check, childhood GOONA, check, one season wonder, check, golden boot merchant, check.
