preparing for valentine’s day >:3 i present to you ace attorney + bad puns valentine’s day cards!!

i went to some vintage and thrift shops today looking for a leather bomber jacket for my launchpad mcquack cosplay. i didn’t find the right jacket, but i did stumble upon these collectible mickey glasses!! i love weird collectible glasses SO much, so these were an instant buy.

also spotted a straight up scrooge jacket at my favorite vintage place LAWL, but it’s too small for me so i left it for someone else.

here’s the items i ended up getting:

spotted this INCREDIBLE shirt at my vintage place. the material is really nice and i adore the colors and patterns. i will definitely be wearing this one to work a lot.

i’m pretty sure this one is a scout’s uniform? the shirt is made of a durable and stiff material and i really like it. the white fastens on the shoulders are too cute! i also nabbed that handkerchief today.

this cropped jacket is REALLY rad. it’s hard to tell because i couldn’t get a good picture in my tiny house but the crop is pretty severe and baggy. it’s actually a size too small on me, so fastening the cuffs are out of the question with my fat wrists, but i absolutely love the way it looks on me. it also kind of gives me della duck vibes.

Coming in at a little less than an inch and a half wide—keep your eyes peeled for news about an impending Dragaux pin on the horizon.

To borrow words from an earlier post—the design is FINISHED! The vector file is FINISHED! The spec sheet is also FINISHED!

All that’s left is to send this bad boy to the manufacturer—something I said I’d do tonight, but will probably push back to tomorrow. I am exhausted.

Some details above may be subject to change as I spend the next several days hammering out specifics with my rep over email. Unlike with the previous Ring-inspired pin, this pin has enamel colors other than just white. I’ve selected my Pantones as gingerly as possible, but enamel sometimes tends to bake a lot darker than expected. I’m going to be asking for sample photos upfront, so as to be thorough as possible for any potential surprises. Either way, I’ll let you all know when pin production officially begins.

I bought a painting in celebration of your bday!

As for suggestions, does your town have a drive-in movie theater? I know they are so rare now. A near by town where I live still has one and they renovated a few years ago to expand it! They added a huge indoor dining area, a playground for kids, and a good size dog park. It is now a bustling place to meet friends and family.

Not knowing what is available where you live limits what I can suggest (I am not asking for personal info about where you live).

I truly hope you have a great day no matter what you do. I wish you Joy and Love always, Princess!

also!! i think i’m gonna go to a brennan wedl concert next week and i’m so excited

#they’re from dazey and the scouts but they do (to quote the scouts bio) obscenely good folk as a solo project #anyway brennan is from minnesota but lives in nashville but is coming back here and playing a show at the 7th street entry of first avenue #and i really want to go. and i think i’m going to!! the problem is it’s 18+ so i have to get my mom to take me. but it is her kind of music #and she likes concerts so i’m hopeful. and tickets are pretty cheap as far as concerts go. so i think it will work out??#anyway i’ve been listening to their album holy water branch on repeat for a few weeks but i don’t know their new EP #so i should listen to that so i know everything. but anyway it’s really good music and i really want to go #so i hope it works out. i recommend the entire holy water branch album though #it’s really good and not very long at all. if i have to pick one song though maybe traveler?? but it’s all really good #their voice is just. extremely good. and i would really like to see them live #so wish me luck. and either way i highly recommend #and i should probably listen to the new EP instead of this. but whatever. all in good time #(there’s like ten minutes left on the album. i’ll get to it soon enough shdhdf)#but you should really check them out!! very small on spotify all things considered but really good and should be more listened to #anyway i’m here and around. just listening to songs and maybe doing more shopping and such #(doing my best to be normal about it. i am in need of clothing)#i’m not a matador but i’ll make do i’ll wear red for you /ly #ok shdhdf i’m done #me. my post. mine.#delete later
