Laurae has built up Gray Fox Farm with her blood, sweat, and tears, and she needs help raising legal funds to defend it from a wealthy white lawyer who is leveraging his power to demand she pay more than the market value of the property plus give up half her infrastructure, claiming that’s “50%” of the equity.

Please support someone who truly deserves it. Laurae houses me, my partner, and another individual here, and she works so fucking hard making it by on barely anything. She deserves to be left in peace with everything she’s worked so hard for.

THIS MORNING: one of our comrades from emory university that was arrested shared her experience, and what she saw her 22 other comrades experience, while in dekalb county jail. our comrades were subjected to racism, not given water for 12 hours despite vocalizing the water fountain didn't work, and silenced during court appearances.

fucking sucks ass that detective is a subtype of cop or always some type of law enforcement. a detective should be someone who is a master of disguise, a weirdo, socially maligned, and hated by the police. he should solve the cases using his ultra specific knowledge about geography, linguistics, human biology, and cigar ashes

called out of work bc I was/am exhausted & generally not feeling well & I told my boss I would be in tomorrow but rn I feel like 8000x worse than I did when I decided I wasn’t going in today -_-

#wanted to just sleep in a little & then paint for a few hours & do homework #& instead I got up at 9:30 & only managed to stay awake for a few hours before taking a 3.5 hour nap #woke up nauseous w a migraine that hasn’t left

14 days! The 14th Doctor and Donna Noble. David Tennant and Catherine Tate are one of my all time brotps. It was such a delight to see them banter again. I think of the 3 specials we got, “Wild Blue Yonder” was my fave. It reminded me so much of Midnight which is one of my all time fave episodes. What were y’all’s faves?

a post-doc was doing a guest seminar at my institute and at the beginning of his presentation he was explaining why he chose birds for his evolutionary analysis - so he said "well first of all, because birds are the best and most interesting animals and it's fun to study them" and a few professors in the room gave him a very serious nod
