Okay, so some words on Izzy’s musical performance.

MY GOD. The way you can see he has to shake off his nerves at first. That this is something that takes CONVICTION from him to get up in front of the crew to do. But they’ve empowered him. And so he wants to celebrate them in return, as well as himself. This was HIS coming out in a way. His acceptance of a life in pink as well as his way of saying “you are all beautiful for being your authentic selves and I want that, too.” And not only that, his singing continues into the love-scene between Ed and Stede. Serenades it. Izzy has given his blessing. Furthermore, he gives his encouragement.

And Con O’Neill…. SIR…. I hope you get ALL your flowers. You deserve it.
