i'm sure blue eyed samurai is a good show i havent watched it yet but idk, it might've been something that i resonated with or related to since im biracial (with a shitty white dad) but like the main character mizu falls in love with the guy who was racist to her?? and called her a dog n shit, s'fucked up, and i get her having blue eyes is supposed to communicate her being biracial and a visual thing to have people bully her for and something for her to hide but like ive read that like most biracial characters are usually written to hve blue or green eyes for obvious reasons which is annoying of course, though they chose to give her brown skin which is a nice change of pace but i dont think id check the show out

unpopular opinion [!mildly nsfw, ok to delete/ignore if you're not comfortable discussing such topics]: i like figures with balloon titties because i think they look silly
strongly agree | agree | neutral | disagree | strongly disagree
i'm personally not the biggest fan because the objectification of women for a mostly male audience makes me a wittle bit uncomfy however i'm not above clicking on a ridiculously boobey figure sometimes just for some silly amusement so i still do get this

It's not satire. I've been on the site since the early days, and Tumblr's had some of the most vehement, vitriolic Anti-SJWs out there. Be careful out there folks 🫡

There's this post on my dash ^^^ and I was about to reblog it with my comment, but fuck that, I'm reposting it. It may be a drop in the ocean, after all I don't have many followers, and most of them share my opinions on the matter. Still I'm not going to help them gain more visibility, not a grain of it, if I can avoid it.
I'm just thinking about how many underpaid workers spilled their blood on this... and for what? For a fucking football match? To make a theocratic dictatorship look good on TV?!

Men see other men as people, but they see women as Women, and their idea of a woman is a hole to shoot their fucking load in, and maybe use for some babies, and build this disgusting suburban life with. They see women as objects for sex, or romance, they don't think that men can socialise with women without there being ulterior fucking motives, thereby talking to an ugly girl makes you a pathetic loser. And on top of all that, they see women as irritable loudmouths without a single real thought and nothing good to say. Yet they get girlfriends, and wives, and act like they love them and truly see them as people, and live their capitalistic, hellish fucking lives with a Woman they hate until their stupid little life gets snuffed out in a care home full of old, middle class, white clones of themselves. Every moment of their miserable lives practically copied and fucking pasted.

it's so hard to talk about this without sounding like an edgy anti sjw but I genuinely do think people view certain mental health diagnoses as something that makes you cool and quirky and not something that, for people who get a written diagnosis, can lead to medical professionals deliberately overmedicating you and misleading you to the point of neurological damage. thats so cool you "discovered" you have psychosis on tiktok. when I go to see a doctor they read up on me and assume i'm delusional 24/7 and my abuser told cops I can't be trusted because of my mental health issues and they believed him ^_^

I've been digging into Steven Crowder's older content and man. Conservative comedians are some of the most obnoxious and unfunny people on the internet, but Crowder is so loudly and powerfully unfunny that it almost loops back around for me.
Back in 2016, during the height of the whole Anti-SJW crowd thing, he would do this bit where he would just go "HEY FEMINISTS!" And then play that meme diarrhea fart sound effect.
That was it. That was the whole bit.
No feminists were listening. He was just playing a diarrhea sound to show his displeasure at feminism. Every time he did it, he would lean back in his chair like he just whipped the most epic burn imaginable.
Fucking kills me. It's the most light speed unfunny thing I can imagine. It's like a Tim and Eric parody of a conservative grifter shithead, and Crowder clearly thinks he's being not just funny, but provocative and boundary-pushing in some important way. By playing a diarrhea noise.

I think we should simply make new media that is actually diverse and has women characters rather than remaking every media franchise and making it woke. Why do women and gays and poc only get the scraps like why did we get Women ghostbusters, something that sounds like an anti sjw made it up in a lab, instead of a wholeee new movie franchise. It seems like hollywood execs make bad “diverse” movies on purpose so they can go See! We gave u diversity and you didnt like it!!

I find it super ironic that Cyclonus has this highly romanticized, propagandic view of the Decepticons, because like:
This is him 🔽
And this is also him 🔽
Dude you yourself was a member of the ruling elite of the old order. Even if what you said about the Decepticons were all true, you're a big part of why people needed to be emancipated in the first place.
He was part of Nova Prime's inner cadre during a time when bigotry and oppression was even more predominant. Nova. who's literally the founder of functionism, which flourished and peaked under the so-called Golden Age of his rule. And Galvatron's... Galvatron, I don't even want to talk about him everyone knows what he's like. But Cyclonus was somehow fine with being yes-man to both?
The way he spoke about the Decepticons, it sounded as if he's this super dedicated sjw filled with righteous passion about stuff like liberation and revolution and emancipation and 'the people', when in truth it's shown that he'd never cared about any of those things before that point.
Nova Prime's ideology was literally this:
And Cyclonus didn't have a problem with it during his entire life before the Ark, compared to more decent people like Dai Atlas and Omega Supreme who eventually clashed with their group and got kicked off the Ark b/c they couldn't stand Nova and co.'s lack of a bottom line and misuse of the word freedom.
As a matter of fact Cyclonus still believed in Nova Prime after he became Nemesis - not that he was much of a better person as Nova. Where's his sense of justice against corruption? Nova got turned into a literal demon, surely it's hard to get more corrupted than that. But his only complaint wasn't about what Nova/Nemesis was trying to do, it's about the process being too much of a damn ordeal.
He's super excited over the anticipation of murder and has no scruples whatsoever about killing non-combatants. The same thing happened again at Kimia.
He finally grew enough of a conscience to break off from Galvatron in the end but notice his wording. It's not 'you forced me to hurt people', it's 'you forced me to hurt Cybertron'. He even said Cybertron twice for emphasis.
It's not mind control, he just thinks like that. The guy's obsessed with Cybertron - with what Cybertron once was. The Cybertron he lived in. Nova Prime's Cybertron. The Golden Age. He's shown to repeatedly lament over it in his internal monologues.
It's all about the loss of his 'perfect world.' The infrastructure. the scenery. the Tetrahexian real estate lmao. How about let's feel some sadness for the billions of Cybertronians who once lived on it? When did he ever spare a thought for all the people who died?
The Decepticons worked so hard to destroy this. It's a gilded carcass rotting from the inside. It eats people alive. The rot was already there in his own time. He was complacent in putting it there. But he only had eyes for the beauty and nolstalgia.
In the first panel he lauded the Decepticons for wanting radical change. Well he himself seemed to be dead set against change judging by the way he kept wanting things to go back the way they were 8 million years ago.
Back in the Golden Age he would not have looked twice at a bot like Tailgate. He was part of the people who didn't give a shit about the disappearance of one waste disposal bot. He still wouldn't have given a shit if circumstances hadn't forced them together over and over again.
Looks to me he's enarmored with the grandness of the concepts of liberation and revolution and emancipation for 'the people' in the Decepticons' (theoretical) ideology. The concepts of fighting against corruption and bringing down the old order. Just like how he bought into the concepts of Nova's 'spreading freedom to the galaxy' and the glittering prosperity of the 'Golden Age.' Does he know that the Decepticon ideology is a twisted lie built on terror and massacres and genocide and despotism? Does he know that Nova's idea of spreading freedom and enlightenment is galactical conquest and his beloved Golden Age is built upon a foundation of misery and suffering and systematic subjugation? Of course he knows he's not stupid. He's nose-deep in it, it's virtually impossible not to. But he's able to willfully ignore those ugly truths as well as his role in them by only engaging in shallow romanticism through rose-coloured lens and refusing to delve deeper.
It's either that or imperalist mindset and the endorsement of violence and casual murder resonates hard.

Looking at a lot of Loustat shippers and how they view/talk about Louis, is making me think of the BtVS fandom, the first fandom I joined when I was 16/17.
Anyway, a lot of the Spuffy shippers were out there calling Buffy derogatory names, saying SHE was the actual abusive one in the relationship, writing the most vile essays/fanfiction about her needing to be brought down a peg and admit she was wrong and Spike was right, saying the show was boring without Spike, despite Buffy being the main character, could not talk about Buffy as a character separate from Spike, propping up James's acting skills over Sarah's, made it sound like Spike was a better parent to Dawn than Buffy was (?), saying that the other men she was in romantic relationships with were much more abusive than Spike, excusing Spike for basically all of his actions and woobifying him because of his trauma....
and then you'd have the more critical Spuffy/non-Spuffy shippers (mainly woc) pointing out the blatant misogyny and victim-blaming in this way of thinking, pointing out how Spike represents some of the worst aspects of racism and the patriarchy, both textually and subtextually, even providing scholarly articles and literature to back up their claims, and asking why do you even ship Spuffy if you hate Buffy? Which of course received extreme backlash and harassment from people racing to defend Spike themselves, saying, no of course they didn't hate Buffy, but Spike is more complex than you're making him sound, and no he's not a racist or hates women, he's actually a feminist and a punk/anarchist and doesn't kill based on race, you're just a vile sjw and an anti who loves ruining everyone else's fun.
Anyway. Why do you even ship Loustat if you hate Louis?
