Tumblr "Poll Results" for my #HHStargazersAU are out and so I'm releasing ALL the currently available titles of my future posts for this story!!! Though to not completely spoil the plot for everyone, I redacted some parts on the list. Just know that, while I DO have plans, they could always change and not everything is complete. But if you're still willing to be patient with me, here's a taste of my writing and art! Nothing serious. Just to see if it's to your liking. I won't always stick to such style, but there WILL be consistent world building as it's my favorite part of starting any AU! And if you like Chaggie or queerplatonic Radioapple centric stories then you're in luck because that's EVERYTHING I'm here for! It'll take a lot of effort, but GOD will it also be a LOT of fun! #just an observation bc im avoiding working on stuff but i draw a lot and post basically everything i draw thst gets finished #and its v funny to me how u can tell how out of focus i was based on the quality of the drawing #or like when i post something and its like ok some of that was good but u def gave up halfway thru one of those lol #inconsistency i funny like that. its also funny to me that now a days i get comments like COLORS!!!#which is funny bc i notoriously haaaaaate coloring. like i will sit around whining and complaining when im home with my parents bc i dont #wanna color. its just so easy to fuck things up when u draw traditionally and it takes a million years so its a big ask lol #but i guess i dont hate is so much right now bc i kinda just slap whatever colors i want together like fuck it we ball #and thats kinda fun. reckless i suppose #its agony when u wanna try to do shadows and lights tho. like finding references ugh #or wanting to draw big ideas but then its like oh god its gonna take so long and if i dont do it all in one sitting i might die #im a lil better abt thst now bc it would b impossible but in my head i still hate it #ugh. all i wanna do is draw. theres another universe where i went to art school. or just like took art classes. and i wanna say id b happier #but thats def a lie XD i like learning too much and i dont have the attention span to hardcore learn genetics outside an academic #environment. and i got way too excited abt exploring the genetic traits of my cyano species #like i can make genetics trees for traits and look for. fuck. i forgot the word. how tf did i forget the word. oh god. horizontal gene #transfer. jesus christ its like theres a hole in my brain. well. i guess i did get only like 4hrs sleep. ugh im rambling.#i need to finish getting ready for Monday so i dont have to tomorrow and ill have time to draw. prob wont stop me feeling nauseous abt #teaching tho. Painted n dry sets + just painted set, second coat drying

I only made the red raw meat set, the rest were made by my sister n just never got to the being inked stage lol

#personal tag #for the blue n gold set i tried SO MANY ones before admitting gold just looked best on it #i tried a dark silver and a light silver snd s bright light blue n none of them worked well #the dark silver looked nice but wasnt legible at all #so i settled on just. gold. and it does look nice. i doubt you could ever really go wrong with gold numbers #for the blue set thats drying i used a metallic blue paint #the first coat was. annoying. but i also did that at the crafternoon with friends #when i was taking some braintime after session 0 discussions that went way longer than i expected #so i prob also hsd frustrations from the overstimulated brain then #did a second coat here at home with my tunes n in my chair in my space with my everything n it went. much smoother #also bc i REALLY loaded the paint up on the first coat lmao #we do we learn we vibe #for the othet sets i have i wanna see if i can mix some paints to get my desired colors #there’s a real pretty smoky grey set with dark pink glitter flakes in it…v nice looking #thinking of doing that in a dark dusty pink #and there’s a sparkly green teal set with the slightest drops of dark blue here n there that I want to ink dark blue #but maybe a very bright dark blue could look fun too. hmmm

Don't know why, but I decided to use these two DR bases to make some new outfits for some of those OC sprites I made a while back...plus one more! The full credit for Cherry's sash goes to this link; it's the coolest thing ever tbh

#cherry makes/repairs plushes specifically #but she'd be called the ultimate seamstress just cause it flows nicer #i mean she Can sew clothes too she just usually doesn't #man she looks weird without her ears LMAOOOOO #i don't entirely love the colour of peggy's overalls #plus there should really be more colour variation on her tools #but i was trying to keep the palette simple rip #and i didn't know what other colour to do for the overalls lmao #i did go v hard on her tho #i kinda forgot i was supposed to be doing rough sketches at that point and just went all out AKJSNVDFN #francine's outfit is unoriginal of course but it'd fit well in the setting #sanit's smock would ideally come down lower but i rly like the little manicure set on the belt and didn't wanna hide it lol #and then for alika i rly didn't want to change her fit too much #but i made it more clearly basketball themed #i'd like her to have some bracelets too but her sleeves would cover em so #anyway! i should have been sketching other things in the time it took to make these but i had fun!

#bravely Didn't try working on the ol wip last night; drawing program needed the laptop restarted anyways; dicked around thusly #like Yes i wanna draw my funny little guy who is the heart & brain's default lately (last several years) nice to do anyways #and naturally imo you can see the [been working on that animatic] influence. don't often manage to draw a thusly stylized winston #he would have the winstache here theoretically but no way was i trying to draw that in lol. nigh guaranteed erasing & v little space for it #for the erasing i mean. further disclosures for Interest: negligable / par for the course digital cleaning up includes getting rid of Some #stray marks like particularly annoying out of place specks. hard to do any of that & pick a stopping point though. yet i did...#more significant tweaks were moving winston's mouth up & one pupil iris Mark over both by like 5 pixels tops lol. still better =)#& then naturally the second pic's Colors are all added digitally. texture & that like shade gradient from top to bottom are courtesy of just #the lighting in the pics picking up paper texture / being itself uneven so there was more shadow further down....#pic one only had lighting & contrast adjustments (slight increase on both)....i don't think any of this was very interesting lol but hey.#winston billions #corned beef #technically:#riawin #i don't know if i quite adequately indicated winston as upset in a frustrated kind of genre as well lol....#but then i reacted afresh to The Pic as i was adding the colors like ah it conveys the intended emotion To Me...& i am the intended audience #could look like oh he's just like very elevatedly & transparently like ''ah jeeeez *Eye* messed up [pensive]'' lol but isnt meant to be so..#hand on back of head not to be sheepish or chastened but rather an ''agh christ i wanged the back of my head'' kneejerk reaction lmao #for once in our lives the fun lil stars are the comic strip language of Oof Ouch Physical Pain indication #the other half of [reacting to what literally just happened / has arisen] being like And spilt my drink on my self #and b/c it's winston & it's his life there May be undercurrents of ''ah jeez. did *i* mess up here / so as to be at Ultimate Fault''#that is the assumed interpretation of Anyone Else at him at any time. I love those scenes where the character has clearly beat the crap out of someone but they’re framing it in a different way

Current thoughts are a substitute Human teacher, doing their best to stay calm and dignified around the parents but getting sick of the xenophobic ones who keep encouraging their kids to be dicks

A, with some suspicious spots of green on them and a bloody nose: Me and your father simply had a constructive conversation on how hate is very much an emotion, one that can lead to other destructive things like anger and violence, I gave him a firsthand look at some evidence supporting my stance and he had to agree with my point, so of course, as your father, he wouldn’t want to encourage hatred against Humans in you

A: So I really think it best if you apologize to the other child, run along now, your father will be with you momentarily after he concludes his…meeting with our school nurse

#ya’ll aren’t getting the full picture so this character probably sounds more like mirror verse Amanda #but they’re v different #substitute teacher is inaccurate but I didn’t wanna get into full details in the body of the post #they’re an academy student helping out an experimental class as coursework #the experimental class is taking a diverse group of kids and getting them adjusted to what their lives would look like in space #so that it’ll be an easier adjustment when their families move to space bases #they’re specifically diverse to help eliminate any xenophobia before they’re surrounded by an even more diverse population #anyways they’re only supposed to be doing a little bit of work for this class #teaching for like an hour or so a couple days a week #because they’re still a student this is just a coursework thing #but they have some really annoying coworkers who keep trying to dump their own coursework onto them #(not all their coworkers just some)#so currently they’re really tired really overworked really annoyed #and every time they make headway with the kids their parents undo all their hard work #which lead to the above situation #annoying xenophobic Vulcan parent #because I’m thinking about Stonn rn #made up dialogue by yours truly #usually it’s fun thoughts with this character #like wrangling the kids to have a field trip at an aquarium #or thinking of situations where one of the kids sees them outside of the classroom and now they gotta switch to ‘professional mode’#so they still look dignified to the kid #while their classmates are like ‘who tf are you and where did you hide our friend’#because they’re not used to their friend trying to act almost emotionless #(they don’t fully try to act like a Vulcan but it helps the kids not be overstimulated if they’re much calmer and stuff than they normally #are)#tumblr is being weird I hope all my tags show #not sure how to tag this since I’m talking about a trope?#I guess no fandom for now
