Can you imagine tho how terrible it would be if the only way to ask someone out was to buy bright colorful flowers from a public store and it’s such a specific bouquet that everyone who sees you buying it knows exactly what it’s for ??

And one of the people who can see you is the store owner’s daughter who’s like almost always in there, maybe even more than usual, maybe she’s specifically trying to see if you buy one, cause this is a small town, no way people aren’t gossiping about everyone’s business

Damn, stardew wasn't tagged on the addition to the bouquet post, so i didnt catch context, and i was just fully prepared to accept you had some incredibly specific personal social issues going on in your life.

For a sec there, somewhat bafflingly, I thought you were, like, tossed unceremoniously into some sort of strange 'giving kindergarten valentines out' situation as an adult in some sort of love triangle you desperately and unsuccessfully were trying to keep platonic, as good friends

😭 I think if I were in that situation, trying to quietly give out bouquets would make everything awful and seem shady because I’m trying to hide it, I think the best thing to do when giving out platonic bouquets to multiple friends is to do it loudly and hopefully get everyone all at once so they can see that I’m just passing them out in a friendly way

(Then I’d probably be agonizing beforehand if I had enough for everyone)

I can’t stand the idea of breaking up with fictional characters and hurting their feelings so my plan is to date several of them at once and then marry one because it looks like if you do that, then none of them act hurt, so my dating plan is:

Sebastian: Yes, because he was the one most hinting about wanting to date me and it was so sweet

Maru: No, I wanted to originally but with dating Sebastian, that just makes me feel horrible, “oh yeah I’m cheating on you with your half sister who’s your step dad’s obvious favorite” I already feel terrible enough!!

Harvey: Yes, I was on the fence with this (on one hand, older doctor type, which Star Trek has made me obsessed with, but on the other I don’t like the obvious crush he has on Maru) I heard he has a great heart event when dating tho so I decided to give him a bouquet

Elliot: Yes, I love his whole vibes, I love that he wrote a book for the Farmer, he’s so sweet

Shane: No, I love him, but he’s already a wreck without me cheating on him with several people, also I really think he just needs a friend way more than a romantic partner

Emily: Yes (I’m gonna feel so guilty about the cheating thing because she’s so nice 😭), she’s so fun and sweet

Penny: No, I know that her helping George like was framed as a “good thing” but…no. that was horrible.

Sam: Maybe? He’s not as compelling to me

Abigail: Also a maybe, she’s sweet and I like her, and I like the obvious crush cutscene (we need more love for the Farmer) but she’s also a character with an obvious crush on another so yeah, still on the fence a bit but I probably will date her

Leah: No, shares a name with a family member of mine, can’t mentally push past it

Alex and Haley: Both characters obviously into each other, both have kinda offputting interactions with me, probably a no for them

And then for marrying, I have no idea 😭

In terms of “Batman is a cryptid,” I’m more of the opinion that Batman should stay as human as possible, especially the more non-human/superpowered/mutated everyone else gets

He should still be a local legend who’s a really tough opponent and stuff, a “cryptid” in his own way, but inexplicably he’s just always a regular guy kicking ass
