I’ve warmed up to swsh considerably after actually finishing the main story, but nothing highlights the lack of real challenge in this game quite like the glaring absence of Victory Road
There’s a straight stretch of route 10 right before Wyndon with like four? trainers in a row waiting for you, but otherwise nothing sets the road to Wyndon apart from any other route and it was kind of a let down. Yeah Victory Road is always a bit of a pain in the ass to traverse, but it just makes the relief of reaching the Elite 4 so much sweeter! It’s the penultimate challenge, to test if you’re really ready to take on the elite 4 (and also convenient high level wild pokemon for last minute grinding). Defeating the Champion just doesn’t feel complete without it

Amy gets an unexpected lunch invite from an old friend for no reason. Is this just to catch up (please, please, please), or will Amy walk away with a new Life Coach (oh, no)? Check please!
