Valentino's Businesses

Val is a man with his fingers in many pies. He has a lot of fingers and he's unbothered by double dipping, so he will own as many businesses as he can, even if he cannot visit all of them in a month if he only did one a day. Vox does the finances for his many businesses because he doesn't care to do it and he knows Vox is better at it than he is.

THE STUDIO

Porn Studios is the crown jewel of Valentino's territory. The studio is where he spends a lot of his time and makes a good deal of his money. Royalties and such kick in a lot from the studio, and he gets extra money from the pornos bought from his own sex shop. Ozzie has a contract with Valentino that he will only do porn with Porn Studios, and most of the porn involving him also involves Valentino. Val is also exclusively in most of the POV stuff that he shoots.

THE CLUBS

Val owns a total of 15 clubs in Pentagram City with various levels of repute and two that he sometimes ventures to Imp City to do Ugly Step Child Maintenance on. Club Hell 666 is one of his most popular and he keeps it fairly well stocked with Angel Dust content.

Another club he spends a lot of time at is Spark Plugs, which is a very neon BDSM club that he named for Vox. If asked about it, he will not admit to it.

THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY

Hard To Swallow Pharmaceutical is a drug peddling company that carries both actual necessary medications and any and all drugs to get high on. It produces and sells everything in-house and delivers to different drug stores throughout Pride. Valentino uses his own medicines from time to time that he takes from the company's stores.

THE TOY FACTORY

Having his own toy manufacturing factory was important to Valentino, and so VAL-U was created. All of his toys/lube/merchandise are labeled with the VAL-U brand, even if they aren't particularly affordable. They are of value because Val made them. Eventually, Mammon sources his sexbots of Glitz and Glam from Valentino, since Ozzie refuses to help him with it anymore.

THE TOY STORE

Valentino's sex shop, Beacon, is fairly popular in his territory. It sells Valentino's products and is one of the few places in Pride that sell Ozzie's merchandise, as well. It's a large two-story building with different sections for different supplies, including a room with floor-to-ceiling shelves for pornos. There isn't a single thing that Beacon does not sell in reference to sex, including illicit drugs.

THE 24/7 VALGAS WEDDING VENU

FastWed is a speed marriage venue that is open 24/7 in the northernmost corner of Valentino's territory. Inside its walls is a small counter where Love Potions can be bought for a steeper price than usual. It also carries last-minute wedding bands and a small bridal/tux rental shop. The amount of annulments that came from FastWed eventually prompted a wing of the same building that performs divorces, FastBreak.

THE LOVE HOTEL

Choza Del Amor, translated as The Love Shack, is a Red Light District Little Darling. Erected in 1984 after Valentino saw an opportunity for an escort service and, frankly, a place for anonymous sex present itself to him. It works as both a brothel and a place where people can rent rooms and bring their own partners.

Oh, my dark lord, this is a ship that I am so invested in. Veeshipping is something that I cannot get enough of. I love them as a polycule and I will die with them clutched tightly to my chest. As for VoxVal being canon, I couldn't be happier with that, but I really hope that season two shows us how Vel fits into their relationship more! I have so many thoughts on this subject, so please bear with me.

Valentino is ultimately the main sub in the polycule, though he likes to switch top/bottom dynamics whenever he's allowed. Velvette can dom or sub and is often referred to as Lieutenant Daddy when she takes over Valentino's domming for Vox. She is a switch as far as top/bottom goes, as well. Vox is a dom through and through, though he can be convinced to switch from being a majority top if he's in the mood or wants Val's attention.

Vox and Valentino have been together for decades before Velvette joins them, but her integration into the group is insanely easy and she brings an intensity to the relationship that the boys appreciate.

Vox still plays the placating card with Val because Velvette doesn't have the patience to do it for him all the time.

Valentino is a major alcoholic and is always sipping on something, whereas Vox and Velvette are lighter drinkers in comparison. This doesn't mean they don't like taking care of him when he's too drunk to do anything for himself.

Vox is super huge into aftercare and loves pampering his partners. Velvette picks up on this and begins to share his love for it, and both of them spend a lot of time babying Valentino.

Velvette likes to livestream things that they do, be it sexual or otherwise, and Valentino and Vox always make sure they can capitalize on it as much as possible.

Vox has called Valentino Bunny for the better part of the last four decades, and Velvette calls Valentino Yoshi (because of his tongue). Valentino calls Vox Destello (Spark in Spanish) and Velvette Muñequita (Baby Doll in Spanish). Velvette calls Vox TiVo, and Vox calls Velvette Darling/Dearest/Dollface.

All three of them show their genuine love and care for each other in their own ways and these are all ways that work for them. Their main theme when it comes to this is acceptance (of who/how they are), and this most often gets expressed through kink.

For each “⭐️” I get, I’ll write a headcanon about our muses.

[ Erasmo ]

⭐️ Era was the reason Hellaina joined up with his friend group of criminals. He met her and took her in when she needed someone to be there for her, as he was wont to do. Era was always picking up strays.

⭐️ He mistakenly thought that she was into him after what happened with April and he declined feelings he assumed she had. It was a mostly well-received rejection because she wasn't interested and that helped him relax more with her.

⭐️ When he went into porn he used some of his money to help her with a vehicle that needed to be repaired. He was always willing to help if he was good for it.

⭐️ He considered her a close friend, though Missy remained his only best friend.

[ Velvette/Jayden ]

⭐️ Velvette still manhandles him often, no matter what they are doing or where they are.

⭐️ She has served him drinks with little toys in the bottom of them. She thinks it's funny when he chokes on them but always makes sure to help him when he's choking.

⭐️ Velvette is very focused on his health and happiness and is the first person to gentle him when he needs it.

⭐️ While they got married for the joke, she found that she actually really, really did love him. He's very important to her and she'd never file for divorce.

[ Vox/Valentino ]

⭐️ Before their big talk, Valentino believes Vox doesn't care about him because their sex life is lacking due to Vox's general disinterest in sex.

⭐️ Vox does not understand Val's obsession with his horoscope, but he listens every day when Valentino reads him his because it's important to him. It's one of the sweet things that Valentino does for Vox that isn't sexual and it proves he cares.

⭐️ Valentino doesn't know what to do with one of his love languages, since Vox can't eat. During one of their excursions to Earth, Valentino rents them a hotel room with a kitchenette and he makes Vox the most delicious eggs benedict he's ever had. Cooking for a partner is something he considers an ultimate show of love.

⭐️ Valentino never felt more seen or heard with Vox than he did the night they were drugged and forced into Honesty Time. Their relationship grew closer and stronger for it, and Val is honestly more secure in their relationship now than he's been in decades.

[ Vox/Ostello/Valentino ]

⭐️ Ostello has written and performed 50 love songs for Vox before Valentino fell. Valentino is at a healthy 22.

⭐️ Valentino has to teach Ostello how to have sex with him properly but is willing to because of Vox mediating between them.

⭐️ Vox's involvement is half of why Ostello gets to live. The other half is that they actually communicate about the lackluster sex.

⭐️ Ostello loves Vox more than anything but is instantly infatuated with Valentino. He did talk at length with Vox about it, because he values open and honest communication.

So while rewatching Avatar: The Last Airbender recently, I noticed a trend

A number of spirits we see have an animal form, specifically animals we recognize as "normal" for us. For example:

- Wan Shi Tong is an owl and his knowledge seekers are foxes

- Tui and La are koi fish

- Hei Bai is a panda

-The guardian of the mother of faces is a wolf (The Search)

Heck there's even the talking Baboon spirit and the monkey missing its face that we see in the Spirit World at the end of Season 1.

Basically every time we've seen a "normal" animal, they've been a spirit.

My point? I argue that Bosco is a spirit bear that's chilling and living the good life in the mortal world just because he can.

Starting to think a cooler headcanon for Clark’s upbringing might just be that the entire town of Smallville collectively decided to just go with it and accept that Martha and John's kid has superpowers, but we don't talk about it.
