Last night I cried, and I mean UGLY cried at a foul hour because I love Albert Wesker and I hate it. (/Lh)

Like first off, the man's name is Albert??? Need I say more? But then, his name is kinda gothic when you say his full name. I don't know if that's just me. But just simply referring to him as Albert is goofy as fuck considering he's supposed to be a villain in RE. Not only that, he's got paper thin lips. How's he gonna get a kiss kiss??☝️🤨/ref

But it wasn't only that, mind you, it's also because this absolute FUCK, this evil David Bowie and Johnny bravo looking mother fucker, has consumed my life and every waking thought that sometimes it genuinely hurts and that's what I hate about being autistic. It's just how much I want to consume of something once it becomes a special interest and/or hyperfixation. On top of that, Wesker is a special case for me because I found out I technically trauma bonded to him as a comfort character. For the past year and a half now, I got back into RE because of the RE4R and began hyperfixating on said game then it spiraled into hyperfixating about the Wesker's storyline, with project W and so on. I already have a tendency to go back to RE periodically every like two or so years but this has low-key been probably the longest I've consistently fixated on RE without a single break in-between. My dad and I bonded over resident evil, he's one of the people who got me into RE, albeit he watched the movies and I got into the game's. Which means RE means a whole lot to me and since he passed my fixation on it only heightened as a source of comfort. I also found out when you have a comfort character during a horrible period in your life, you very well can trauma bond with said character. So that means out of all characters, I have trauma bonded to Albert Wesker and I am two seconds away from tweaking. 🤩

On top of that, every time @rainbowroadonsteroids sends me something remotely Wesker related I start punching my wall and they bully me for it smh./Lh+nm

EDIT: I've quickly done my research and Troy did in fact made a public statement to establish boundaries on NSFW. So, as stated and promised, I take back all of what it's said here, HOWEVER my GENERAL point still stands for fandoms/communities alike as this is a recurrent phenomenon and not a one time case

Also btw I'm seeing people panicking more and more over the 18+ side of the Kinito fandom and uh really y'all do whatever makes you most comfortable because mental health is always the first way to go, however do not force anyone to follow your same beliefs unless is strictly necessary (i.e. something actually problematic)

Troy is a minor and I get the concern, but I haven't seen anything purely problematic as of now /gen

Other AUs focus on Kinito's sentience, more on the mature(intended as violence) and angst side, so like, it would fit to explore on something more pushed y'know?

Again, really y'all let's not take it to the extreme, this is a small community still and it's getting bigger by the second. The canon event is inevitable, it happens in every community that quickly explodes in popularity, the best way to survive through the horrors it to live and let live. as far as i am aware at the time of writing this post, i don't think Clown has any problems with Wally x Anon/Reader/Y/N fanworks...or at least, i haven't come across any sources stating so.

the big thing that (if i'm understanding the guidelines correctly) is that Clown doesn't want us to be putting any NSFW Welcome Home material into the main tags. we have to remember that Welcome Home has blown up very quickly, and Clown deserves a chance to breathe and adjust to all this success before laying out those boundaries (if he wishes!). that's why, although i do write NSFW for other fandoms i'm refraining from doing so for Welcome Home until stated otherwise. i can't imagine how stressful it must be dealing with so many notifications, people impersonating, trying to sell their work, exhibiting invasive and creepy behaviour...on top of the overwhelming demand for new Welcome Home stuff. i think as fans we should just vibe and play in our own little bubbles without stressing them out too much, and adjust when we receive new information. for instance, i didn't know when i made my Wally Darling edit that they were uncomfortable with non-canon art being associated with the main game. i've since reached out to see if i should take the video down with no reply, and went with the consensus of a group of fans i asked for the opinions of - to leave it up until asked otherwise. pretty much - i don't think Wally Darling x Anon fanworks contravene the guidelines that Clown has given us so far. they aren't inherently NSFW, and i'd hope that anyone who is making NSFW fanworks is tagging appropriately, as is the courteous thing to do. i'm of the opinion that fans are going to do fandom things, and there's always going to be folks making adult-oriented works, and that's okay!! but i'm also always happy to respect the wishes of the creator in terms of how they'd like that work to be tagged and presented. i think Toby Fox did it best when he first suggested the 'Undertail' tag for NSFW works - a real stroke of genius that i see lots of fandoms still using today. again, do take this with a grain of salt! i don't know Clown, and very few of us do - we're just all interpreting his words in vastly different ways, and that must be terrifying to deal with; thousands of people getting very angry or very sad because they think they can or cannot do a specific thing they never actually said. it's not anyone's fault that Welcome Home blew up so suddenly and there wasn't time for precautions to be taken, but it is the fault of those fans who are overstepping boundaries and need to re-examine their relationship to this art. it sounds like you're good to go on making those animations, and i would personally love to see them 🥰 thanks again for being so sweet about my silly headcanons!! it's honestly been quite scary adjusting to the amount of attention, but please know i'm grateful and appreciative of every ask, reply and message that comes my way 💖

while we understand that the vast majority of the internet views vore as a kink and a kink only, not everyone views it in that way.

if we saw vore as a kink, we would not be making vore relating to minor characters in any way. The line between the real people and their characters gets blurred a lot in the MCYT community, speaking from personal experience there. (edit, seeing as this has been circulating recently: we no longer post mcyt content for many reasons, but we want to clarify that ALL of our mcyt content was only of the characters, never of the real people. sorry for any confusion!)

outside of the content we make, we also enjoy vore because the idea of just. having a living, breathing person inside of you is a really fascinating concept to us, as well as all the cool plot points you can use it in!

take, for example, ice age; dawn of the dinosaurs. that movie had a TON of vore-esk scenes (buck's flashback, that one plant scene, there's a ton of others), but you wouldn't say those are kinky because, simply put, they arent supposed to be, but they're still technically considered vore.

long story short though, we don't view vore as a kink for the following reasons:

There is an entire community here on tumblr dedicated to SFW, non-sexual vore

We use vore specifically for plot points or fluff; we never have and never plan to use vore in a sexual way in any of our content because, well, we're sex-repulsed.

Vore can exist outside of its usual circle, but its not usually considered vore by onlookers at that point.

Vore is, to be honest with ya, only sexual if the writer (or artist/animator in some cases) intends it to be. People can take it sexually, yeah, but it doesn't have to be.

why would we make kink of characters that often get confused with real people??????

No.

2. Can I submit characters played by actors?

You may! HOWEVER, I won't edit them onto a pride flag as I usually do because I feel uncomfortable putting a real person's face on them.

3. Can I submit my own characters?

Sorry, but no, unless your characters are like, published or something, if that makes sense? If you're the creator of like a webcomic, video game, or whatever, you can submit your character, but please indicate that you're the creator and what series they are from in case I need more info.

4. Someone has submitted a character from a problematic media.

I'm sorry! I try to do a little digging, but if I happened to miss something about a show/book/etc. being problematic, please let me know (and explain why it is) so I can take it down!

Deep Dive #1: Michael Afton

(Note: this about how Michael came to be as a character in my AU, not about Canon Michael)

My Michael first started off as the insane stereotypical Michael we all know and hate. I'm talking Mennard, I'm talking seeing Glitchtrap, insane asylum, first dead, all that junk.

I made quite a few AUs with that Michael. I made a DID AU (which helped me flesh out more of his character), I made a Phineas and Ferb AU (Michael was the stand-in for both Candace and Agent P), but most notably I made my Percy Jackson AU.

My Percy Jackson AU created the groundwork for the Michael you all know and love. I never got past chapter 7 and the writing of it was quite frankly atrocious, but it helped me find Michael's voice as a character. He was a witty, sarcastic, impulsive character with a few too many secrets and an inherit love for found family. Michael had that same fierce loyalty to his friends, saying to Henry:

This is probably the best written line in the entire thing, btw. Except for the classic:

Fuck bitches get nomney. Moving on, PJ Mike still followed the classics: he was friends with Ennard, was abused, was kind of a psychopath in all honesty (he killed family pets of the foster homes he stayed in (but he was literally the son of the king of monsters so idk give him a break lmao)).

He did steal a car and it was badass, and he was gay and in love with James.

Later, after watching more videos about the Aftons, I decided to scrap the stereotypes and make my own AU. We'll call this one the "Old AU" since it came right before my current AU.

I came up with the design for my P!Mike after making an AU where the 4 Tormentors were lab experiments. He looked a little something like:

Ouch. It looked better in gacha, I swear. I still got things from the stereotype au; he was experimented on as a kid by William, and was NM Foxy, for example. He did have black hair, but dyed it brown to differentiate himself from William. I did lean away from the stereotype that Mike could control his rotting and got rid of Ennard as a character, instead bringing in Molty, who's stayed the same since they were created, down to looks.

Old!Michael looked like this:

As you can see, Michael kept his jacket and glasses while crossing AUs. This Michael was kind and fatherly while still having a chaotic streak. I vividly remember writing a scene where he dislocates his spine and Jeremy had to crack it back in place. Michael made a joke about throwing up blood and then threw up blood. (Funny enough, after writing that scene I decided to scrap the AU).

If PJ Mike laid the groundwork for Michael today, Old Mike laid the support down. Michael was in a polyamorous relationship with Jeremy Fitzgerald and Fritz Smith, who no longers exists in my current AU, as Michael is Fritz Smith.

Michael still loved his father in this AU, and was searching for him to set him free so they could all move on together. Obviously Willy boy came back as Glitchtrap, and they were all stuck on Earth.

Since Michael was NM Foxy, obviously the other tormentors were the other Nightmares, with Kasey from Fazbear Frights as NM Fredbear. Kasey was the one who forced all the Tormentors to bully Evan. Man, I really did not like making Michael responsible for any of his mistakes lmao-

Despite these differences, Michael was fundamentally the same character as he is today. His motivation lay in reuniting with his family and friends, he was still the goofy guy he is today. The only exception was that I was too cowardly to really whack him with the trauma hammer so he was wholly neurotypical and his dad apologized to him and he got to be with his mom.

In between creating the Old AU and creating my current AU, I made a small AU that I called the Figment AU. It was paired with a couple other AUs, namely the Crazy AU, Old AU, and the God AU. The Figment AU, to put it short, was based off Bendy the Bunny's first edit of Michael, in which there's text that reads "I'm not real".

I went "oh what if that was literal and Michael didn't exist lol" and then made it an AU. Yay. In it, he was the embodiment of "The Monkey's Paw" in which he granted wishes but twisted it. He met a boy named Terrence (wow) and kinda raised him until he died in WWI! His last wish was for Michael to be free or something, but Michael had to twist it so he was freed but at the expense of not being his own person anymore. He was forced to do WHATEVER anyone expected him to do, even if he didn't like it. So when people started expecting him to cause trouble and bully his brother.. yeah. The only person who didn't expect anything of him was James and he was able to communicate with him.

It was a cool AU, and it really hammered home to me the fact that Michael would be a GREAT father, and established his relationship with James.

But Dev, you're saying, PJ Mike and James were together!! I know, but that didn't count because Michael was so different.

Jumping ahead a few months irl time, I decide that I don't fuck with the Old AU anymore and I decide to revamp it. A few of the concepts stay the same, like Molty, Helpy, and Jeremy. But most of it is improved on.

Past Michael changes from a weak-willed sadboy to the egotistical, god-complex, asshole dickstain he is today. He doesn't dye his hair anymore, and looks like this:

I would also like to mention that all of these pieces were done on this phone with my left index finger. Just something to brag about ig 💅

Michael gained neurodivercency with his schizophrenia, I whacked him a couple times with the good ol' trauma hammer, made him accountable for his goddamn mistakes, and gave him a couple kids.

Michael started hating William just as I do! However he was not experimented on by him at all. He is no longer Nightmare Foxy, but the Nightmares are his. They're just literal Nightmares turned hallucinations.

And wow, what is this? Michael actually had growth during the SAME AU!! In my current AU, he was angry all the time and beat people up for fun, shown here:

Hmm. Maybe I should quit art lmao. Look at the neck on that lad. What was this shading? Look at Michaels BOOT.

And look! He kept his jacket!! I couldn't let myself get rid of it.

Anyway, this phase of Michael didn't last long. Good riddance.

Michael became the corpse we all know and love, in a relationship with Jeremy Fitzgerald and James Watson, with 3 kids, 2 siblings, and a complete family and character arc.

I think it was needless to say that Ace!Michael remained through his entire journey (except for the setero AU because idk apparently rape used to be funny?? I hate it I hate it anyone who makes rape a comic haha funny joke can choke on my massive cock dick balls and asshole). As someone who is ace, I literally couldn't see him as anything else! So he's ace.

I'm sure Michael will do some more developing as my channel goes forward. He's already changed a lot during the course of my channel!
