14 Goals of a Witch: Breathe and Eat Correctly
Please remember these are my interpretations of the Goals and yours may be different. That's totally okay!
What does it mean?
What does it mean to breathe and eat correctly. Breathing - well we all tend to breathe in a way that doesn't work the diaphragm as much as it should. According to the Cleveland Clinic (https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/9445-diaphragmatic-breathing) we should be doing diaphragmatic breathing, more commonly known as belly breathing. If you're breathing and your tummy is rising and falling you're doing it right. The provided link goes into more detail about the benefits and such of this way or breathing.
As far as eating correctly - well that's different for everyone. I can't have dairy products (yay lactose intolerance) someone else may have a peanut allergy, and so on and so on. I think that when it comes to eating correctly, we should try to eat as clean as we possibly can. It's not always possible to get fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, etc. We live in a world where money is king, and if you don't have the money? Well you have to go for the next best things, whatever it is you can afford. So I think as long as we are doing our best to nourish our bodies, well then we are doing it right.
How?
Diaphragmatic breathing can be worked on through practice, usually meditation. Just being mindful of your body and what it's doing can be a big help in correcting your breathing.
Eating correctly? Honestly, just do the best you can. Low on funds and can only afford that $1 menu (or whatever it costs now, I don't know I haven't gone out to eat in years!) McDonald's burger? Get the burger and eat it knowing that you did what you were able to do to nourish your body in some way. It may not be the "healthiest" food, but it's food and you are able to get it.

Breathe Deeply, Live Fully: The Science of Diaphragmatic Breathing Explained
Tumblr media
The Science and Art of Diaphragmatic Breathing
Begin with an introduction that briefly explains what diaphragmatic breathing is, also known as abdominal or belly breathing. This is a technique that involves conscious use of the diaphragm for deeper breaths, enhancing lung efficiency by using its full capacity.
Understanding Diaphragmatic Breathing
Elaborate on how diaphragmatic breathing strengthens the diaphragm, decreases the work of breathing, reduces oxygen demand, and uses less energy. Explain the physiological process during this type of breathing, including the movement of the diaphragm and how it affects the lungs.
Health Benefits
Discuss the numerous health benefits of diaphragmatic breathing. Highlight how it can help in relaxing, improving muscle function during exercises, increasing oxygen levels in blood, assisting in the expulsion of gas waste from lungs, reducing blood pressure, and lowering heart rate. Also, mention its effectiveness in managing conditions like anxiety, asthma, COPD, and stress.
Practical Guide to Diaphragmatic Breathing
Provide a step-by-step guide on how to practice diaphragmatic breathing. You could explain both the lying down and sitting techniques, making sure to detail the positioning of hands, the process of inhaling and exhaling, and the role of stomach muscles.
Importance of Regular Practice
Stress the importance of regular practice to master diaphragmatic breathing. Suggest starting with short daily sessions and gradually increasing the duration. Emphasize that, like any skill, diaphragmatic breathing becomes more effortless with practice.
Conclusion
Conclude with a note on the overall health benefits of diaphragmatic breathing and encourage readers to incorporate it into their daily routine for better physical and mental well-being.

Spine and Ribs and breath I was told once that our ribs should be like gills of a fish. I don’t know why that stuck but the idea of the ribs individually moving has always been a practice of mine. If the diaphragm contracts, and then the sternum rises, what happens at the spinal level? One would/could assume, feel, notice, that there would be a spinal wave of flexion and extension following the breath throughout the entire Axial Skeleton. Different names in different places, it is taught as spinal breathing in the AP course. #breath #breathing #breathoflife #spinalbreathing #spinalhealth #spinalmobility #spine #spinalmovements #spinalmovement #spinalmotion #ribs #diaphragmaticbreathing #diaphragmatic #diaphragmaticbreath #axialskeleton #ribcage #adaptablepolarity #humanarchitecture @courtneyaschenbach ribs!! https://www.instagram.com/p/Cnw0zBdLLmi/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Top Advantages Of Breathing Meditation Music
Tumblr media
Looking for a way to relax and de-stress? Try using breathing meditation music. Incorporating breathing meditation music into your life could be the key to a calmer, more collected you. It is one of the oldest and most natural forms of meditation. It has many advantages over other types of meditation, such as mindfulness or transcendental meditation. Here are some of the key advantages that breathing meditation music has to offer.
Yoga becomes more satisfying
To get the most out of Yoga, you must calm your breathing and be in the present moment. The breathing meditation music of Harmonic Breathing lets your brain chatter fade away smoothly, and you will discover that you can reach deeper into each posture and hold it for longer. Yoga becomes a more joyful and gratifying experience as a result.
It soothes newborns and young children
Anyone who has a newborn kid (or younger children) understands how tough it can be to get them to sleep. Even when they do fall asleep, they frequently wake up many times during the night, leaving both you and your kid irritable and sleep-deprived.
It can calm your body
You will benefit more from a relaxing hot bath at home, a spa visit, an acupuncture treatment, a deep massage, a Reiki session, or sitting quietly in a garden or nature when you are profoundly relaxed. Listening to deep breathing meditation music may help you relax and let go; it can also inspire you, resulting in a more profound experience.
It enhances study sessions
Relaxing music, like 'helps you focus on work (or school),' has been shown to help you learn better. Whether you are in basic school or finishing your Ph.D., you will need to focus on your studies. One of the easiest strategies to ensure a successful study session is to listen to relaxing music.
It makes flying more comfortable
Many people find flying to be a frightening experience. Listening to peaceful deep breathing meditation music before and throughout your journey may considerably reduce tension by creating an atmosphere of tranquilly.
It energises mornings
When you begin your day with thankfulness and inner serenity, the remainder of your day flows more smoothly. Listening to relaxation music in the morning might help you set a serene tone for the rest of the day.
It aids concentration
One advantage of resonance breathing music is that it might help you focus. When you listen to relaxing music, you immediately close your eyes and think more clearly. Although it may appear unusual, closing your eyes will make you feel more awake and concentrated. This will assist you to absorb more knowledge faster, resulting in higher marks. It is also an excellent technique to relax and unwind during study time.
It allows you to remain calm
Another advantage is that it aids in relaxation. According to studies, listening to soothing music helps to lower your blood pressure and boost your pulse rate, allowing you to stay more concentrated on the work at hand. This can also assist you in relaxing your thoughts so that you do not become too fatigued or stressed to achieve a decent night's sleep.
Additionally, listening to calming tunes can keep negative emotions at bay, which is a major issue for most individuals during test periods. Relaxing music might also assist you in staying alert. After a long time of the study, most people become drowsy and sluggish. This happens because the body adjusts to the quantity of studying it is subjected to.
It allows everyone to focus better at work
While certain music might be distracting when focusing, relaxing music is not one of them. Resonance breathing music might help you calm your thoughts and focus on the work at hand. Without those annoying distractions, you are more likely to fulfil deadlines and produce higher-quality work.
Soothing music can have a myriad of advantages, from reducing tension to energising mornings. One especially helpful application for this type of music is breathing meditation. When you practise breathing meditation with the help of calming tunes, you may find that your mind and body become more relaxed overall. This could lead to improved sleep quality, reduced stress levels and a more positive outlook on life. If you are looking for a way to improve your well-being, breathing meditation music may be a good way to start.

Why is the 12H connected to sleep?
The 12th house is associated with the subconscious mind, places of confinement or isolation, and activities that involve withdrawal from the external world.
When we fall asleep, our conscious mind becomes dormant, allowing the subconscious to take over. This state enables our hidden emotions, thoughts, and dreams to surface as we enter the oneiric realm.
During sleep, our minds process and integrate experiences from waking life. This process requires isolation, withdrawal, and relaxation, resonating with the themes of the 12th house. Additionally, our dreams often serve as a pathway for unresolved issues, hidden fears, and repressed thoughts to manifest. Dreams act as a space where we confront these hidden aspects of ourselves, symbolically connected to the themes represented by the 12th house.
Knowing this information, you can tap into your 12th house sign to improve the quality of your sleep and to gain greater insight as far as what activities make you doze off.
