DM: Your host finishes pouring your drinks and invites you to eat.
Adam (playing Billie): I ask, "Before we break bread with you, may we know your name?"
DM: He pauses. "Of course, that would only be polite as your host. My name is Count Baron S. Knight."
Party: ...
Tati (playing Seraph): No wonder the magistrate's wife was so confused!!
M (playing Kjell): Yeah, fully with her now!
Hamish (playing Thaddeus): "So... is that first name Baron-"
DM: "Last name Knight, yes."
Rach (playing Ashiok): "Well, your parents certainly had a sense of humour."
DM: He shrugs delicately. "Deva."
Tati: I ask, "What's the S stand for?"
DM: "Sir."
M: *howls* Count Baron Sir Knight! This is my favourite NPC ever!
Hamish: Yeah, I love him. I can't help it.

Another night yet another ball that (Y/n) attended in hopes of finding a Husband. (Y/n) being Lord (L/n)’s only daughter, she had all she could ever want in life and she was happy, the only thing she longed for now that she had been presented to the queen was a marriage built from love and not just who could give her the best life or how high she could climb the social ladder. Though her stepmother didn’t quite agree with that sentiment. She would say she only wants what’s best for her daughter and in her mind that would be someone with a title.
This was her very first season she was excited to share her first season with Daphne who’d been named the seasons diamond after a slightly rocky start with Baron Burbrooke she seems to have found her love match with The Duke of Hastings and she was quite happy for her friend and now only hoped the same for herself no matter how long it took.
Dressed in a blue gown that complimented her beauty she was dancing with a gentleman that appeared to have two left feet, for he stepped on her toes quite frequently though he didn’t seem to notice her wincing in pain each time it happened as he spoke only of himself. The end of the dance couldn’t come quickly enough, she thought. Though he asked for another she excused herself.
“Was that as painful to watch as it was to be in?” The young woman asked as she approached Benedict Bridgerton. He was Daphne’s older brother and the two managed to become friends as well over their shared love of the arts. She knew Benedict would make a fine husband for any woman. She just didn’t feel that way for herself but she enjoyed his company regardless. However, in her mother’s eyes, he wouldn’t be good enough as a second son his brother would but she didn’t like him like that either and was almost sure Anthony would never marry.
“Even more so,” He chuckled at her and pushed his hair back.
“Then perhaps I’ll need a knight in shining armor to come to rescue me the next time he asks for a dance,” She joked slightly nudging him.
“I am no knight, however, maybe a prince will come to rescue you~” he grinned at the young woman they had both heard the rumor of the Queen’s nephew, a Prince of Prussia coming to London for the season.
“Oh-“ She was cut off as the room grew quiet around them and they turned their heads to see what had caused it. That was when she saw Prince Friedrich of Prussia being guided by his Aunt the Queen to meet the young ladies in attendance at the ball.
She watched as he greeted Cressida Cowper, the two girls weren’t exactly friends but they weren’t enemies either, they simply tolerated each other. She watched as Cressida attempted to charm the Prince; he kissed her hand and smiled at her before quickly moving on.
“You’ll catch flies,” Benedict teasingly whispered in her ear with a sly grin. Her mouth had been slightly open as she watched the whole exchange between the two.
“Not funny,” she glared at him.
It seemed like hours but in truth, it was only a few minutes before Queen Charlotte brought Prince Friedrich over to the duo, though it seemed at that very same moment Benedict decided to wander off and she was left alone in front of the Queen and the Prince.
“Miss (L/n), let me introduce you to my nephew,” Queen Charlotte beamed proudly showing off her nephew. (Y/n) curtsied but looked up and met his eyes. A bright blue that seemed to sparkle in the light of the ballroom. He stood a bit taller than her. They reminded her of the boy she had met when she was younger. Why was she thinking of that now?
Friedrich reached out and took her hand, though both their hands were gloved she could feel the heat radiating from him. He brought her hand up and kissed it gently, she hadn’t noticed he seemed to linger for a few moments longer than he had with any other lady and it felt familiar.
“It’s lovely to meet you Miss (L/n),” he said as he finally released her hand.
“You as well, your highness,” she smiled and could feel the heat rise to her cheeks.
“Might I also say you look beautiful tonight,”
“Oh, thank you, your highness,” it took all the courage she could muster to not look away.
“I guess you don’t have a bonnet to lose tonight or any trees to climb,” He tried to hide his slightly teasing remark behind his perfect smile. (Y/n) stood in slight shock and was unable to form any words. It was him, he’s the boy… well man now.
“We must finish our rounds, Friedrich,” Charlotte spoke a bit confused by Friedrich’s comment, and guided Friedrich along with her. Friedrich was the Prince of Prussia! She felt like a fool still staring at him, however, he was still looking at her as well. The two didn’t break eye contact until Lord Jameson stepped in front of her.
“May I have this dance?” Lord Jameson spoke and held his hand out.
“Oh… Uhm yes,” she held out her hand with her dance card for him to sign and went to the dance floor for him at least he had been a slightly better dance partner than her last. However, she had been distracted glancing around the hall hoping to see the prince again.
Prince Friedrich had hoped to quickly finish meeting all the young ladies so he could get back Miss (L/n). He had met her when he had attended school in London many years ago. He had thought of the memories fondly on occasion, meeting her in the woods and when he saw her bonnet fly off and went to get it to return it to her, however, she had chased after it too. He saw her staring up at it, likely debating on how to get it down herself but he stepped up to retrieve it for her.
He occasionally snuck glances at the dance floor to see her with a much older gentleman she didn’t seem to be enjoying herself. He would have come to her rescue but he was currently occupied with his aunt.
After a short while, he was able to sneak away from his aunt and look for Miss (L/n). She now appeared to be talking to the man he had seen her with when he first arrived. He took the chance to approach them.
“You’re the worst Benedict,” She glared at the tall man next to her. Friedrich didn’t know who he was to her.
“I didn’t do anything,” He noticed Friedrich approaching them and grinned mischievously.
“Exactly my point,” Before the argument could continue Prince Friedrich cleared his throat.
“Miss (L/n),” He said.
“Yes?” The young woman turned to him and once she noticed it was the prince again she became a bit of a flustered mess.
“May I have this dance?” He asked, holding his hand out. She nodded, unable to trust her voice, and took his hand. He led her to the dance floor.
“It’s you,” She said once she found her voice again.
He chuckled a bit at her, he wondered if she had thought about those days a lot too.
“I didn’t know you were a prince…” She mumbled and tried to avoid his gaze. Remembering the ways she had spoken to him the first time they met, she had been a bit rude in her opinion.
“I didn’t say I was, it's not your fault,” He smiled at her again he thought her nervousness was cute.
“I suppose you’re right,” She said, training her eyes on his shoulder where her hand rested.
She took the chance to look up at his face and he was already looking at her. Her breath got caught in her throat as their eyes met again. She had to stop this; she never acted like this with anyone else! When the song came to an end neither was ready to separate but they had to so they reluctantly did. (Y/n) still didn’t know much about him but what she did know is she wanted to know more about him.

The Romances of Witchwood
Tumblr media
While you fight for your life and freedom, you won't have a lot of allies, but that doesn't mean you have to go at it alone. But who will you decide to walk beside you during this time?
Book 1 Romances
Tumblr media
L. Rawlins-
Luther/Loralei Rawlins. Werewolf. Pack Leader. Feared and love, and they're on your scent. Better clear things up quick, or you'll find yourself with a scar mirroring their's.
Seir-
Seir, your familiar. Demon. High blooded. They were the one who offered you your way out, and now they slink behind you wherever you go. While most times, they keep to their animal form, it doesn't mean that you can get them to slip into a more... Comfortable shape. If they like you, of course.
S. Della Rovere-
Sienna~Simeone Della Rovere. Vampire. Baron/Baroness. The rake around town with the devil may care attitude. A good old fashioned Rogue who follows their own flights of fancy and a slave to their own whims. Their cheery attitude comes from the fact that if they don't want to do something? They simply won't do it. It's hard to maintain their attention after capturing it.
V. De Winters-
Victoria~Victor DeWinters. Human. Count/Countess. Charismatic, rich and married. There are rumours surrounding their activities, some whisper that they had an affair with a famous opera singer, other's say that they're a gold digger. No one truely knows their history, and that's how they love it.
Z. Chambers-
Zaniyah~Zachariah Chambers. Reaper. Somber. Dead and extremely busy. Would rather if you didn't interfere with their work, but who are they to say no? Deeply melancholic, they don't often rise out of their quite subdued state, but whose to say that they won't perk up with an accused murderer begging for their help?
Book 2 Romances
Tumblr media
Saleos-
Saleos. Wayward Familiar. If you thought Seir was high blooded, they make them look like the demons assigned to cleaning up after orgies in noble houses. Flighty and a flaunter, they make natural enemies of every single Witch Familiar they could ever come across. But they're here... For you~
Starling Knight-
Starling Knight. Local Doctor doubling as the Mortician. Grey Witch, and one of the most respected ones around. You could call them a friend and they'd side eye you, even though they are the closest thing to a buddy you've had during your stay in South Hollow. Detached, stoic and with the worst bedside manner.
Book 3 Romances
Tumblr media
A. Lancaster
Amber/Ambrose Lancaster. Human. Witch Hunter. Cold and intense, but somehow the most humane out of everyone in the Witch Hunters. You better hope you befriend them fast, because this one is actively out for your blood. But what else is new.
D. Woolf
Dietrich/Dorothea Woolf. Human. Professor. Quiet, sincere and studious, they're a potential friend built up throughout the other books. They've been sickly for a long while now, but that doesn't mean that they want to sit out on the action.
E. Rawlins
Emil/Emilia Rawlins. Werewolf. Loner. Bitter, spiteful and crude, they never fully rose to their full potential due to their sibling's over protectiveness. They've become jaded, nasty and obsessive, especially the object of their puppy love.
Quincy Beaumont
Quincy Beaumont. Human. Famous Opera Singer touring the continent but deigned to return to South Hollow on a very special invitation. Mean, talented, and two faced, they simply can't wait to become your closest confidante.

i can also see suho writing at least a few "what if the count and his wife never died and Javier kept his family" aus. Just for self-indulgent reasons lmao. Maybe even some "Lloyd still dies but everyone else lives" or "what if Javier's birth family (basically ocs) never died and he got to still go on adventures" lol.
oh. oh that's. that's kinda sad :(
but like if we ignore the massive self-projection and wish fulfillment going on, i think that would actually be a pretty popular genre of fic in the hypothetical "the knight of blood and iron" fandom (i'm just gonna write tkbi now btw i'm tired ajkshdk). like we know in the webcomic that when the author killed off sillurian people were really incensed because it seemed like javier was really Going Through It at that point. and we all know nothing makes fandom more motivated than feeling like their favorite characters are being mistreated aksjhdjksa
and while it's also said that part of the appeal of tkbi is that javier is a very sad and lonely protagonist i have to imagine there's at least a good part of the fandom who wishes to see him get some comfort to offset all the hurt he goes through. so i think there's probably a healthy and thriving fix-it and hurt/comfort community that dedicates itself to write some nice fluffy fics (while also inflicting all new kinds of pain upon him but shhhh it's all good it's normal nothing to see here-)
maybe suho would gravitate more towards the fix-it fics end of the spectrum, instead of the hurt/comfort ones. he'd write these very elaborate aus that explore "what if"s and "for a want of a nail" plots that vary in their degrees of fluffiness but that are almost always about avoiding the early tragedies in javier's life. (eg 'what if javier met count cremo when he was younger', 'what if javier had an imaginary elf friend as a child except it isn't imaginary', 'what if it had been the baroness that rescued javier as a child', 'what if lloyd hadn't been an useless drunk', etc etc)
his habitual readers are always amazed by how detailed his aus can get and how much world building he does and explores, they especially like the ripple effect all of his fics have, how the smallest actions can have many consequences down the line, even if they do think he focuses too much on the beginning of the book when he could explore the latter chapters more. he never does romance and always writes family and friendly relationships and only includes the romantic leads as friends too. but overall his fics are pretty popular within that side of the fandom.
some people do think he has a bit of dislike towards lloyd frontera's character, which showed especially in his 'lloyd frontera dies in the beginning of the book and everything is better because of it' fic but he's otherwise pretty good at hiding it so it's not too much of a flaw. plus, lloyd is a bit of human trash overall :/
his 'the baron and baroness never died and thank's to javier's heroics they were saved from debt' fic is his most popular work but the 'javier's bio family never died' one is a close second. his 'the family still lost the estate but no one died and they all went on adventures' isn't quite as popular but it has a steady following.
there's one that almost doesn't get attention but that everyone that does read it agrees is probably his best one and it's a one shot, 15k, character study, memories, flashbacks, major injuries, implied major character death, open/ambiguous ending, bittersweet ending fic, with a summary that just says "javier is tired. he wants to go home. he can hear them. everyone is waiting for him" and leaves everyone who reads it both in tears and also half wondering if they should ask the author if they need them to pay for a couple therapy sessions (please he needs them so badly)
dang it i got carried away again jkashdksa but yeah! i do love the idea of fanfic writer kim suho i think it's very funny. and also him being a fix it fic writer means he already got a little bit of practice before being isekai'd lmaooo

I’ve been wondering if there’s more to Edelgard’s Napoleon allusion than meets the eye. I mean, sure, Edelgard has Amyr adorned with the “Crest of the Beast,” suggesting she’s an antichrist figure much like how Napoleon was seen in the past over his ability to wage war (see War and Peace). Likewise, Edelgard is a villain while Napoleon was considered THE villain back in the day. Just look at Sir Arthur Conan Doyle hyping up Sherlock’s supposed last opponent Moriarty as “the Napoleon of crime” to see what I mean.
But what I’m thinking is how Edelgard is an absolute monarch (autocrat) whose rule is backed by the army. We see this in her Japanese ending, how Claude refers to her rule as “military rule” and her being identified as a hegemon in both Flower and Moon routes. But this rule comes after an insurrection that was meant to limit the power of the crown.
People tend to forget that feudalism isn’t just simply obeying what your king says. Titles such as dukes, counts, barons, knights are all granted with privileges, but those privileges must be respected by the monarch. It’s transactional, and if the monarch doesn’t honor his/her side of the bargain they’re liable to face uprisings. That’s why these things are backed by laws, traditions or customs. It’s not just “God says to follow this guy, so do it.” If the monarch simply tries to impose their will, it could very well lead to a civil war.
And in France, King Louis XIV/The Great/The Sun King went about weakening the nobility in this regard by centralizing power. He didn’t appoint someone as his prime minister, he did that work himself while at the same time using his charisma to get nobles to want to support him. The French nobility were too busy partying at his court, keeping them in Versailles rather than in their own lands where they ruled in his name. And while the nobles were busy, Louis XIV and his ministers went about overhauling France, taking power out of the hands of the nobility and instead putting it in the hands of selected intendents who were dependent on the king for their position.
In this context, Versailles sounds like Enbarr in how all the Imperial nobility are supposed to work out of the capital rather than their feifs. This also sounds a lot like how Edelgard frames her reforms. But if you know your history, it’s these reforms by Louis XIV that planted the seeds of the French Revolution. After all, he fed the decadence of the nobility in a time when things were good, decadence they refused to give up when times got bad. His successors also didn’t have the charisma to make this work for them.
The parallel here is Ionius, trying to consolidate power for himself and take it from the nobility. However, he appears to have lacked the charisma of the Sun King, leading to the Insurrection of the Seven. After all, he wasn’t performing his duties to his nobles and presumably his parties fucking sucked. Reforms are made to limit the powers of the monarch by corrupt individuals, each seeking to empower themselves rather than the people. Hell, these same nobles would want to join with Edelgard’s intended conquest of Fodlan in order to further their own authority, see Caspapa joining her in Houses in exchange for control of the former Alliance territories.
Sadly, this reflects how the French Revolution became corrupt, not living up to it’s own ideals and giving way to the Reign of Terror. We don’t really get much of a RoT in Fodlan, at least until Edelgard, the Napoleon figure, takes over. And of course, we can argue the hypocrisies of Napoleon and Edelgard. Whatever lofty ideals they talked about spreading didn’t really gel with their actions.
Patricia fleeing the Empire with Cornelia’s help calls to mind the Scarlet Pimpernel.
There’s also the Enlightenment angle. We have the whole Enlightenment/Nirvana symbolism with regards to Buddhism, but there’s also the European Age of Enlightenment. We have technological clues to suggest Fodlan is around the 1700’s in terms of development comparative to our world, such as the fact there’s children’s literature, with opera being from the 1600’s as well as the discovery of the speed of light. We have John Locke, believing that humans are inherently good and would work in the interest of society in opposition to the Church’s stance that people are naturally sinful and need guidance. There’s also the belief if we did away with the old order it would lead to a new golden age.
Those last two points remind anyone else of Edelgard? Bonus points, the end of the Napoleonic wars is said to be the end of the Age of Enlightenment.
Edelgard also restores the Church under her control after it was kicked out of the Empire over a hundred years prior. Reminds me of Napoleon bringing back the Catholic Church after the revolution tried to replace it with their Cult of Reason/Cult of the Supreme Being, but did so in a way he wouldn’t be under their control.
But it is known that when Napoleon was defeated, the people of the capital opened their doors to their enemies. They were sick of him and his endless wars. With regards to Edelgard, reach Enbarr and you can recruit a battalion of civilians to oppose her with Dorothea and Manuela. You don’t get that for any other lord. It’s meant to show that even her own people think she’s a tyrant, just like Napoleon was considered the first modern dictator. Both are also skilled at using propaganda, both ran police states (see Hubert about that one).
Invading a frozen country only for their capital to be set on fire as you take it?
Really feels like there was this effort to link Edelgard to a real person, one greatly debated by history, when you look at stuff like this. Too bad Fodlan didn't have a Horatio Hornblower, but to be fair he is a fictional character.

Knights of the Order of the Crescent
Knights of the Order of the Crescent is a worthy discussion since we know that the crescent moon is an indigenous symbol from Southern Arabia, aka, Mexico, since Mexico was Southern Arabia and Mexico means, “In the center of the Moon”: https://rb.gy/himgj1.

Map of Mayaca, Florida (Ethiopia)
There is a town in Ethiopia called Mayo, Ethiopia. The name Mayo is the same as Maya (Mayans), so we are dealing with the Mayans. There was once a Mayan city in Florida called Mayaca (see post image of map), which is further proof that the Mayans established La floridas (Ethiopia Superior/ Tameri). This city was obviously named after the Mayas/ Mayans since we can see their tribal name of Maya in Mayaca (Maya-ca). Mayaca is now extinct and so is the Mayaca Tribe (Mayaca people), and we can blame the Spanish invasion (the Holy Wars) of the 1500's for their extinction; however, Florida still has Port Mayaca as evidence of a city now gone.

First Baron of Maine, Viceroy of Sicily and Anjou
CHAMPAGNE (Peter I of) Sable, fretty Argent; a chief or charged with a lion issanl gules (1). Currency (2): Sta closes. Lord of Champagne, Pescheseul, Lonvoisin, Bailleul and Parcé, Prince of Montorio and Aquila, First Baron of Maine, Viceroy of Sicily and Anjou; third son of Jean III of Champagne and Ambroise de Crénon; married, according to contract of April 22, 1441, with Marie de Laval, sister of Guy de Laval (see this name), and daughter of Thibaut and Jeanne de Maillé-Brézé; died in Angers, almost a hundred years old, on October 15, 1486, and buried on the 22nd of the same month, in the church of Saint-Martin de Parce (3). This valiant knight, who had distinguished himself in many battles, won two great victories against the English: the first in 1442, in the plain of Saint-Denis d'Anjou, and the second in 1448, before Beaumont-le-Vicomte. The following year, Jean d'Anjou gave him the order to help Charles VII against the English, and he covered himself with glory at the Battle of Formigny (1450).
ANJOU (Charles I of) Count of Maine

(2) Through this alliance, Cobelle Ruffo had become the sister-in-law of three kings, Louis III of Sicily, René of Anjou and Charles VII. Polyxène Ruffo, his sister, first married François-Alexandre Sforza (see this name).
Baron of Mison
AGOULT (Fouquet or Foulques d') Or, to the ravishing wolf Azure, armed, langued and vilené Gules (1). Baron of Mison, of La Tour-d'Aigues, of Sault and of Forcalquier, lord of Thèze, Barret, Volone, La Bastide, Peypin, Niozelles, etc., chamberlain of René d'Anjou, viguier of Marseilles (1443, 1445 and 1472); son of Raymond and Louise de Glandevès-Faucon, his second wife; married: 1° with Jeanne de Beaurain; 2° with Jeanne de Bouliers; died without posterity at La Tour-d'Aiguës in 1492, nearly 100 years old. Fouquet d'Agoult had been nicknamed by his contemporaries the Great and the Illustrious, in view of his love of justice, his magnificence and his liberality. Nostradamus (2) reports that "after the death of this so good and so excellent Roy (René d'Anjou) several and various eulogies, epitaphs and learned compositions were placed on his tomb, in the church of the Convent of the Carmelites of the City of Aix...The eulogies were in various languages, Hebrews, Greeks, Latins, French, Italians, Cathalans and Provencals, which the magnificent Fouquet d'Agoult, lord of Sault, had collected and transcribed exactly by the express command de la Reyne his second wife.
Moslem-Jerusalem under the Order of the Cresent, 1070
Muslem-Jerusalem from 1070 under the order of the Cresent. Moslem-Jerusalem, which looks very Moorish with the Crescent moons at the top of those Maurice domes. I love the Phoenician purple trim too at the top. King René of Anjou
The Ordre du Croissant (Order of the Crescent; Italian: Ordine della Luna Crescente) was a chivalric order founded by Charles I of Naples and Sicily in 1268. It was revived in 1448 or 1464 by René I of Naples, the king of Jerusalem, Sicily, and Aragon (including parts of Provence), to provide him with a rival to the English Order of the Garter. René was one of the champions of the medieval system of chivalry and knighthood, and this new order was (like its English rival) neo-Arthurian in character. Its insignia consisted of a golden crescent moon engraved in grey with the word LOZ, with a chain of 3 gold loops above the crescent. On René's death, the Order lapsed. The Order of the Crescent, also known as "Order of the Crescent in the Provence,” a French chivalric order was founded on 11 August 1448 in Angers by King Rene of Provence as a court order. The order, which united itself, features from knighthood and spiritual orders, and counted up to 50 knights, of which can be dukes, princes, marquises, viscounts and knights with four quarters of nobility.
A French Canadian Maur by the name of Ann Marie Bourassa sent me a link to the Armorial Chevaliers (Knights) of the Order of the Crescent and the images in this post spoke to my DNA, since my maternal surname, “Chavis” means the Goat and Brave boy: https://rb.gy/qk2k10.
Chavis/ Chavers is also short for Chevaliers, since the Chavis are a Royal family of knights that is associated with bravery and passing the BAR. Chevaliers is French for Knights since the number one code of the knights is chivalry, which means bravery. During the old-world chivalry (honor) was established from being brave in battle, and cavalry is another word that is derived from chevaliers since cavalry means an army of mounted braves (Knights) on horses.
In 1066 during the Battle of Hastings, my French royal family of Shivers, which is French for Chavis, as knights, helped the French Viking King, “William the Conqueror,” a Danite, conquer England with the aid of two dragons and were given the Shivers Mountains in England by William the Conqueror due to the acts of Chivalry (bravery=Knighthood) on the battlefield: https://rb.gy/n9vlao.
Here is the link to the Armorial Knights of the order of the Crescent: https://rb.gy/y2hpa4. This link is in French, but you can use Goggle Translate to translate the French into English.
Please, avoid the hijack with the whitewash when reading the Armorial Knights link, because the original French were the Franks or Gauls (Gullah Geechee/ Galilee), and they were French Maurs (Merovingians): https://rb.gy/posjrm.
“Franks (Franci), a Germanic people who conquered Gallia (Gaul), and made it Francia (France).” [End quote from Oxford Classical Dictionary]. “Gaul, French Gaule, Latin Gallia, the region inhabited by the ancient Gauls, comprising modern-day France and parts of Belgium, western Germany, and northern Italy”: https://www.britannica.com/place/Gaul-ancient-region-Europe.
The Americas has the most place names associated with Gaul/ Gales/ Gules/ Gola/ Galley/ Gullah/ Galilee/ Gaelic (France). For example, Galesburg, Illinois; Galilee, Pennsylvania; Angola, Louisiana; Angola, Indiana, etc. Some of the African slaves allegedly came from Angola, aka, the Congo (Congo, Alabama*), which is a country allegedly in Africa on the Slave Coast. Gola, which is short for Angola (An-Gola), is also Gula as in Gullah Geechee – Seminole and Creek (Greek) Indians: https://msuweb.montclair.edu/~sotillos/moore.htm.
Guale was a historic Native American chiefdom (Tribe) of Mississippian culture peoples located along the coast of present-day Georgia and the Sea Islands. This tribe of Guale Indians were Maurs (Maur-iners as in Marine and Mar/ Mer as in sea), aka, Sea people. Guale was once a city on the Sea Coast of Georgia that is now extinct and so is this tribe of Indians (Washitaw Muurs = Yamasees and the five civilized tribes), due to Spanish conquest: https://www.americaistheoldworld.com/gibraltar-of-the-west/.
In South America we have the Spanish equivalent to the Gullah Geechee, the “Gualeguaychú.” Gualeguaychú is a city in the province of Entre Ríos, Argentina, on the left bank of the Gualeguaychú River (a tributary of the Uruguay River). In Mexico, we have Guatemala, which is a derivative of Gaul since the prefix Guate in Gutemala is Gaul.
This book, “Africa vs. America,” demonstrates that Europeans copied ancient Ghana that was in South America (Guyana) and built a second Ghana on the other coast [Africa], which is known as Congo or Angola. Africa vs. America,” by Isabel Alvarez: https://www.americaistheoldworld.com/ancient-ghana-is-guyana/.
This FB post deals with a French Merovingian Queen, nicknamed “The She Wolf,” since she convinced a Baron (wizard), Lord Roger Mortimer, to help her to overthrow her gay husband, King Edward II of England to take the crown: https://rb.gy/7g9b4s.
Speaking of the She Wolf, the Capitoline Wolf is the She Wolf and is a symbol of the founding of Rome. The wolf is a sacred symbol of the Turks and the Danites. The Americas has 13 Capitoline Wolf Statues, which suggests that the greater Rome or Imperial Rome was in the Americas. Rome is derived from the Egyptian word Ramen and the Hebrew word Rimon, which means pomegranate. The pomegranate is a symbol of Granada Land (the promised land), which was in the Americas: https://www.americaistheoldworld.com/imperial-rome-and-italy-superior/.
The Armorial Knights of the order of the Crescent has a few coats of arms with the She Wolf in the center of the moon. Mother Mary/ Maya/ Meru, aka, the Queen of Heaven, is shown in many images as the Venus Star Transit, which is the Mayan 5-pointed Star, standing in the center of the crescent moon. The wolf is code for the Dragon, aka, the constellation Draco when its Star Theban was the Pole Star or the North Star.
Who was Rene d’Anjou?
In this post are some images of the Royal Knights’ coat of arms of the Order of the Crescent, instituted by King René d’Anjou, ms. Fr. 5225. Statues of the Order of the Crescent, founded by René d’Anjou (1448), ms. Fr. 25204. (Source: gallica.bnf.fr, National Library of France).
The Ordre du Croissant (Order of the Crescent; Italian: Ordine della Luna Crescente) was a chivalric order [knights’ order] founded by Charles I of Naples and Sicily in 1268. It was revived in 1448 or 1464 by René I of Naples, the king of Jerusalem, Sicily and Aragon (including parts of Provence), to provide him with a rival to the English Order of the Garter. René was one of the champions of the medieval system of chivalry and knighthood, and this new order was (like its English rival) neo-Arthurian in character. Its insignia consisted of a golden crescent moon engraved in grey with the word LOZ, with a chain of three gold loops above the crescent. On René’s death, the Order lapsed.
The Armorial Knights of the Order of the Crescent, also known as “Order of the Crescent in the Provence,” a French chivalric order was founded on 11 August 1448 in Angers by King Rene of Provence as a court order. The order, which united itself, features from knighthood and spiritual orders, and counted up to fifty knights, of which can be dukes, princes, marquises, viscounts, and knights with four quarters of nobility.
The Knights committed themselves to mutual assistance and loyalty to the order which, after the Provence became part of France in 1486, was soon forgotten. Ackermann mentions this knighthood as a historical order of France.
In this post is a poorly whitewashed image of King Rene of Anjou since he is still swarthy (dark/ Black) in his image. King Rene was the grandson of King John II of France, aka, John the Good, who was undoubtedly a Naga/ Negro: https://rb.gy/onckrm.
René of Anjou (Italian: Renato; Occitan: Rainièr; Catalan: Renat; 1409–1480) was Duke of Anjou, King of Jerusalem, King of Sicily, King of Aragon (Gules), and Count of Provence [Province, Maine*] from 1434 to 1480, who also reigned as King of Naples as René I from 1435 to 1442 (then deposed as the preceding dynasty was restored to power). Having spent his last years in Aix-en-Provence, he is known in France as the Good King René (Occitan: Rei Rainièr lo Bòn; French: Le bon roi René).
René was a member of the House of Valois-Anjou, a cadet branch of the French royal house, and the great-grandson of John II of France. He was a prince of the blood, and for most of his adult life also the brother-in-law of the reigning king Charles VII of France. Other than the aforementioned titles, he was for several years also Duke of Bar and Duke of Lorraine.
René was born on 16 January 1409 in the castle of Angers.[2] He was the second son of Duke Louis II of Anjou, King of Naples, by Yolanda of Aragon.[2] René was the brother of Marie of Anjou, who married the future Charles VII and became Queen of France.[3]
Anjou is just a Latinized way of saying Andros/ Andrews, so we are dealing with Saracens (old Arabs) of the lost 10 lost tribes of Israel that were descendants of the first Apostle Saint Andrew: https://the-red-thread.net/genealogy/andrews.html.
Greater France or France Superior in the Americas:
If you have read my post about Imperial Rome and Italy Superior you already know that Italy Superior was La Floridas and there is also a Naples, Florida, which suggests that Rene Anjou was once the king of Naples, Florida since La Floridas was the original Italy. Remember that France borders Italy, which means that since Italy Superior was in the Americas Greater France or France Superior was also in the Americas.
Now, if we include Gules/ Gual (Aragon) and Maine, it leaves no doubt that this history is referring to Greater France in the Americas since the Imperial Rome and Italy Superior post proves that Africa, Europe, and the Middle East was originally in the Americas.
Maine and the New England states were once part of the Nova France and this territory was once known as Nova France (New France), according to old maps from the 1500’s – 1700’s, however, we know that it is nothing new about Nova France since the Americas is the East (the Orient) and the old world. Maine also has a Bar Harbor, now a resort for the wealthy. Notice that when you read the description of the coat of arms in the Armorial Knights link you will see a few references to Bar and Maine, which suggests that ancient Frankish (French) history is referring mostly to the Americas.
France borders Italy, according to modern-day maps, therefore, this post is more evidence confirming that the original France was in the Americas since Florida was Italy Superior.
King Anjou was born and buried in Angers, France. Angers sounds a lot like Algiers, Louisiana. Algiers was part of the Ottoman Empire that was originally in the Americas: https://www.americaistheoldworld.com/the-ottoman-empire-in-the-americas/.
The French and the Ottoman Turks as Moormans (Danites=Vikings=Sea people) were blood allies against Spain (Rome) during the Crusades or Holy Wars. Louisiana has France written all over it since Louisiana is called Cajun Country. Plus, the prefix of Louis in Louis-iana is a French name that is associated with a long list of French Kings. Cajun and Acadian (Akkadian) are the same word. In fact, Louisiana used to be a part of the Acadian Republic. Louisiana is called the boot kicking state since Louisiana is shaped like a boot, and so is Italy and Florida. Louisiana has a French Quarters and the people called themselves Cajuns (Acadians).
Additionally, the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, is called the Crescent City and it shares the same place names as Orleans, France. Louisiana also has Parishes (Parish=Paris), which is derived from Paris, as in Paris, France. Paris means “For Isis” or “City of Isis,” and Paris is short for Paradise. Baton Rouge (Louisiana) is a French word that means Red Stick.
The New Orleans Saints logo is the fleur-de-lis (Florida*). It’s a French word that means lily flower in English. French Maurs (High Priest of Anu) known as the Merovingians introduced the fleur-de-lis as a symbol of France, which is sometimes spelled fleur-de-lys; and it is a stylized lily or iris commonly used for decoration. In fact, translated from French, fleur-de-lis means “lily flower.” Fleur means “flower,” while lis means “lily.” The interesting thing about the fleur-de-lis or Lily Flower is that it is derived from the Bee, and it is just an upside-down Bee: https://rb.gy/jpasca.
AGOULT (Fouquet or Foulques d’)
Or, to the ravishing wolf Azure, armed, langued and vilené Gules (1).
Baron of Mison, of La Tour-d’Aigues, of Sault and of Forcalquier, lord of Thèze, Barret, Volone, La Bastide, Peypin, Niozelles, etc., chamberlain of René d’Anjou, viguier of Marseilles (1443, 1445 and 1472); son of Raymond and Louise de Glandevès-Faucon, his second wife; married: 1° with Jeanne de Beaurain; 2° with Jeanne de Bouliers; died without posterity at La Tour-d’Aiguës in 1492, nearly 100 years old.
Fouquet d’Agoult had been nicknamed by his contemporaries the Great and the Illustrious, in view of his love of justice, his magnificence and his liberality. Nostradamus (2) reports that “after the death of this so good and so excellent Roy (René d’Anjou) several and various eulogies, epitaphs and learned compositions were placed on his tomb, in the church of the Convent of the Carmelites of the City of Aix…The eulogies were in various languages, Hebrews, Greeks, Latins, French, Italians, Cathalans and Provencals, which the magnificent Fouquet d’Agoult, lord of Sault, had collected and transcribed exactly by the express command de la Reyne his second wife.
(1) All the genealogists and heraldists describe the d’Agoult coat of arms in the terms we have just used; however, the wolf is always represented crawling and not ravishing, that is to say holding its prey in the mouth. We didn’t want to change anything in the accepted description; but it was necessary to point out that it does not agree with the representation of the coat of arms. In 1220, the seal of Raymond II d’Agoult bore a passing wolf. (2) History and Chronicle of Provence, p. 646.
ANJOU (Charles I of)
Azure, semé of fleurs-de-lis Or, to the lion Argent set in quarter; bordered gules.
Count of Maine, Guise, Mortain, viscount of Châtellerault, lieutenant general for the king in Languedoc and Guyenne; third son of Louis II of Sicily and Yolande of Aragon; married: 1°, before 1434, with Cobelle Ruffo (2), widow of Jean-Antoine Marzano, Duke of Sessa, Prince of Rossano, daughter of Charles Ruffo, Count of Montalto and Corigliano, Grand Justice of the Kingdom of Naples, and of Cevareila de Saint-Séverin (see this name); 2°, by contract of January 9, 1443, with Isabelle de Luxembourg, daughter of Pierre de Luxembourg, count of Saint-Pol, and of Marguerite des Baux; born in the castle of Montils-les-Tours, October 14, 1414; died at Neuvy, in Touraine, on April 10, 1472, and buried in the church of Saint-Julien in Le Mans.
(2) Through this alliance, Cobelle Ruffo had become the sister-in-law of three kings, Louis III of Sicily, René of Anjou and Charles VII. Polyxène Ruffo, his sister, first married François-Alexandre Sforza (see this name).
ANJOU (Jean d’)
Per fess of one party, of two, which makes six quarters: 1 barage Argent and Gules, of eight pieces (HUNGARY); 2nd, Azure, strewn with fleurs-de-lis Or, a label Gules, five pendants in chief (ANJOU-SICILY); 3 Argent, to the cross of Jerusalem Or, at angle (JERUSALEM); 4th, azure, strewn with fleurs-de-lis or, a border gules (ancient ANJOU); 5th Azure, strewn with recrossed crosses set foot Or, two bars backed by the same debruising over all (BAR): 6th Or, a bend Gules charged with three alerions Argent ( LORRAINE); a label Gules three pendants in chief, debruising on the large quarters.
Duke of Calabria and Lorraine, senator of the Crescent (1470); eldest son of René d’Anjou and Isabelle de Lorraine; married, by treaty of April 2, 1437, with Marie de Bourbon, daughter of Charles I, Duke of Bourbon, and Agnès de Bourgogne; born in Toul on August 2, 1426, died in Barcelona on December 16, 1470, and buried in Angers, in the church of the Cordeliers (1).
(1) On a glass roof of this church, this prince was represented on his knees, his hands joined, a floral crown on his head, and wearing a loose coat with a turned down collar. In front of him was the coat of arms described above, supported by the emblem of the order of the Crescent with its motto. (MONTFAUCON, op. cit., t. II, pl. LXI11). These arms are absolutely identical to those which appear on a counter-seal of Jean d’Anjou, affixed to a document of 1465 (DOUET D’ARCQ, Collection de sceaux, t. I, n°789).
ANJOU (René d’)
Cut from one, from two, which makes six quarters; to 1 of HUNGARY; at 2 d’ANJOU-SICILY; at 3 of JERUSALEM; at 4 d’ANJOU old; at 5 of BAR; at 6 LORRAINE; over all Or, four pales Gules (ARAGON).
King of Naples, Sicily, Jerusalem and Aragon, Duke of Anjou, Lorraine and Bar, Count of Provence, Senator of the Crescent (1449); son of Louis II, Duke of Anjou, King of Naples, and Yolande of Aragon; married, in first marriage, by treaty of March 20, 1419, with Isabelle de Lorraine, eldest daughter and heiress of Charles II, Duke of Lorraine, and of Marguerite de Lorraine; in second marriage, September 10, 1454, with Jeanne de Laval, daughter of Guy XIV, Count of Laval, and Isabelle de Bretagne; born in Angers on January 16, 1409, died in Aix on July 10, 1480, and buried in the church of Saint-Maurice in Angers on October 26, 1481.
From the institution of the Armorial Knights of the Order of the Crescent, King René accompanied these coats of arms (1) (still existing in 1620, at Saint-Maurice d’Angers) with the insignia of the order (2), which he had painted and sculpted on a large number of monuments and works of art, to engrave on its seals (3) and to embroider (4) on its tapestries and ceremonial costumes.
(1) On the subject of the various coats of arms carried successively by René, see our work: La Croix de Jerusalem dans le Blason, p. 14. (2) Ung radiant and marvelous crescent, Garny of fine gold and white enamel, Of which there was in frank writing, Loz in crescent in engraved and understood, Such motto had this lord taken. Not without reason, for his loz would grow On all living beings who had loz and be. (OCTAVIE DE SAINT-GELAIS, Le Séjour de l’Honneur.) (3) Some of these seals have a double crescent on the reverse that Mr Douet d’Arcq (collection of seals, n°11783) took for two bags or stacked purses. (4) In 1448, Pierre du Villant, painter and embroiderer to the King of Sicily, two professions closely united in the Middle Ages, executed four embroidered crescents for his new order of chivalry (LECOY DE LA MARCHE, Extracts from accounts and memorials, n ° 632).
CHAMPAGNE (Peter I of)
Sable, fretty Argent; a chief or charged with a lion issanl gules (1).
This valiant knight, who had distinguished himself in many battles, won two great victories against the English: the first in 1442, in the plain of Saint-Denis d’Anjou, and the second in 1448, before Beaumont-le-Vicomte. The following year, Jean d’Anjou gave him the order to help Charles VII against the English, and he covered himself with glory at the Battle of Formigny (1450).
(1) In the 17th century, this family sought to attach itself to the illustrious house of the Counts of Champagne and took its arms, which are: Azure with a silver band, bordered by two cotices potent and counter-potentiated Golden. (2) Motto and coat of arms still visible in 1620, in the chapel of the Knights of the Crescent in Saint-Maurice d’Angers. (3) The epitaph engraved on his tomb had been composed, it seems, by the king.
SFORZA (François-Alexandre)
Quarterly: 1st and 4th Or, to the eagle Sable crowned of the first (LOMBARDY); 2nd and 3rd, Argent, to the bisse Azure in pale, crowned Or, giving birth to a child Gules (VISCONTI-MILAN).
Duke of Milan (1454); natural son of Muzio Attendolo dit Sforza, lord of Cotignola, and Lucrezia Trezana or Tresciano; husband: 1° of Polyxène Ruffo, widow of Jacques Marilli (?) Grand Seneschal of the Kingdom of Naples, daughter of Charles Ruffo, Count of Montalto and Corigliano, and of Cevarella de Saint-Séverin; 2° (August 1, 1441) of Blanche-Marie Visconti, natural daughter of Philippe-Marie Visconti, Duke of Milan; born at San-Miniato (Tuscany), July 25, 1401, died at Milan, March 8, 1466.
As you can see, the Armorial Knights of the Order of the Crescent were very distinguished and extraordinary gentlemen and so was their King, Rene of Anjou since King Rene was a Saracen (Moslem) that was the King of Jerusalem, Sicily, Naples, and Aragon. In this post is an image of Moslem-Jerusalem, which looks very Moorish with the Crescent moons at the top of those Maurice domes. I love the Phoenician purple trim too at the top. This image is a full-page miniature of Jerusalem and the Dome of the Rock Image taken from feature 5 of Book of Hours, Use of Paris (‘The Hours of René d’Anjou’). Written in Latin, calendar, and rubrics in French: https://picryl.com/media/jerusalem-from-bl-eg-1070-f-5-4d2417.
The royal coats of arms of the Knights of the Order of the Crescent display powerful images of occult symbols like the kingfish (fisher king), the Falcon (Horus), and the Bee/ Beetle. The Fleur-de-lis symbol is an upside-down bee. We know that the study of the birds (falcons) and the bees/ beetles is real sex (love) through alchemy, and this advanced knowledge (magic) that was acquired from Thoth/ Thought was used to create an Eden style of government or Ethiopia = Utopia that was based on free energy and a resource-based economy: https://www.americaistheoldworld.com/teotihuacan-is-the-home-of-thoth/.
The fisher kings who were Fishers of men, aka, Magi’s, were the High Priest of Anu (Maurs) from Nineveh, which was Jacksonville, Florida, and surrounding areas. Nineveh means place of fish or House of fish and is the home of Prophet Jonah of the Bible: https://www.americaistheoldworld.com/nineveh-was-jacksonville-florida/.
Speaking of Jonah, a fish/ whale swallowed him for 3 days and then spit him out, which is code for him being born from a dragon, making Jonah a messiah, a Christ-king, and/or a Dragon-king: https://rb.gy/dsgf9g.
In this post is the coat of arms of royal knight, SFORZA (François-Alexandre), that depicts a Maur (High priest of Anu) being born from a blue dragon since serpents/ dragons don’t eat their prey feet-first. Also, notice the double headed Turkey of the Holy Roman Empire on the coat of arms. People think that this bird is an Eagle when it really is a Turkey, since Turkeys have beards and Eagles don’t. If you view different images of Hapsburg (Holy Roman empire) coat of arms you see that the bird on this coat of arms is clearly a double headed Turkey with a red beard. The Turkey is indigenous to the Americas and so is the Roman Empire. The Turkey is a hybrid bird that was spliced together with light codes (sound frequencies), aka, light alchemy, by Turkmen/ Moorman long ago using a combination of the Tukey Buzzard and the Chicken (the base metals) to create another meat source known as Turkey (the gold or good product).
I know this Roman History is confusing because Rome was a global empire that was on both sides of the world, however, the legit honorable Roman Empire that was in the Americas and under French Washitaw rule was overthrown by the duplicate Christian and Catholic Rome in Europe since the American version of the Romans were Saracens (Moslems) and pagans (Hebrews) that were labeled as infidels, in the eyes of the duplicate Roman hijack.

DM: Count Baron Sir Knight has made a run for it.
Tati (playing Seraph): *gasps* We know where the escape tunnel leads out!!
M (playing Kjell): Yes! I roar and go for the nearest window.
Adam (playing Billie): I want to sit in his chair and drop myself down the trapdoor after him.
Hamish (playing Thaddeus): Ooh, that's good.
DM: We're going to end the session there, and I'll note those actions for next week. You can all see now that Thaddeus has pointed it out that every goblet except the Count's is laced with that same white powder.
Adam: I've absolutely already drunk from mine.

The transformation of the county of Champagne.
Between the accession of Henry I in January 1152 and the death of Marie in March 1198, Champagne was transformed from a loose assortment of counties and quasi-independent lordships into a cohesive territorial state. Although the counts in their letters continued to identify themselves as "count of Troyes," they and their officials came to view their lands and fiefholders through the prism of the new castellany grid embodied in the rolls of fiefs. The count's castellanies, the new administrative districts centered on his towns and fortresses, encompassed all his fiefholders, from ordinary knights to barons with inherited castle lordships. In effect, a single polity consisting of the count's castellanies had subsumed Thibaut II' s collection of old counties and lordships. Geoffroy of Villehardouin, who surveyed the military disposition of the county through the rolls of fiefs, was the first to adapt his title to reflect the new political reality. Initially known as "marshal "and "marshal of the count," Geoffroy began to style himself "marshal of Champagne" after returning from the Third Crusade in 1194. Count Henry II, too, had begun to understand his title, "count of Troyes", in that expansive sense of all Champagne when he spoke of the lands "in my county", meaning not the old county of Troyes but rather all the lands under his authority, no matter their location or ancient title. Gislebert of Mons, the chancellor of Hainaut who was exceptionally well informed about Champagne , wrote in his chronicle (1195-96) that the "count of Troyes" was commonly ( vulgariter) called " count of Champagne." That sense of Champagne as a distinct polity, soon to become the "county of Champagne and Brie," was unimaginable before 1152.
Henry the Liberal's achievement, and Marie's in preserving it, was to construct the institutions of a new principality while retaining the loyalty of the barons through a traditional style of collegial governance. By recruiting his high officers from the old baronial lines- Chappes, Châtillon, Dampierre, Joinville, Plancy, Pougy, and Traînel- and by not overtly intruding into their inherited castle lordships, Henry co-opted the baronial class in the construction of his new state. The chapters of secular canons he founded in Troyes, Provins, Bar-sur-Aube and Sézanne, each with twenty to sixty or seventy prebends, furnished careers for well-born young men without a military or monastic calling, and served as a pool of literate personnel for the count's administrative needs. Even those without formal office, like Garnier of Traînel, served the count in a quasi-official capacity. Garnier and his brother Anselm III of Traînel, the count's butler, had been very close since the Second Crusade as co-lords of their inherited lands, and they often sat together at the count's court. In 1174 the count asked Garnier to arbitrate a complicated dispute between Larrivour and Montiéramey, two powerful monasteries not far from Troyes. In his sealed report to the count, Garnier related "what I saw and heard and what was done through my hand." Satisfied with Garnier's disposition of the matter, the count had Garnier's letter copied verbatim and sealed with his own seal; the chancellor presented the monks of Larrivour with both Garnier's original report and the count's sealed confirmation of the settlement. That symbiotic relationship between the counts and the region's wealthiest and most powerful barons assured their continuing support during Marie's regencies. Ultimately, the count's new administrative apparatus rested lightly on the barons, who continued to act as virtually independent lords within their own lands where they held court, oversaw their fiefholders, and conducted their own familial affairs without interference from the count.
Coincident with the rise of the comital state under Henry and Marie, and indeed fostered by it, were two related developments with far-reaching implications for the aristocracy. The first was the diminishing role of baronial castles within the county. The count's burgeoning towns, especially Troyes, Provins, and Bar-sur-Aube, whose regulated trade fairs made them vibrant commercial centers, marginalized the private castles. The prominence of the count's new principal residence in Troyes, with its attached chapel serving as his chancery, treasury, and mausoleum, was particularly dramatic. None of the baronial castle towns, not even Brienne, Joigny, or Bar-sur-Seine, which were located on the trade routes, could rival the count's towns in either size or economic or cultural importance. At the same time, the construction of fortified residences (domus, domus fortis) in the open countryside ended the dominance of the old castles. The new walled residential compounds, quadrangular moated sites with stout stone walls often reinforced by perimeter towers, began to dot the countryside from the 1170s. Whether they were built with the count's license, or were renderable to him, is not entirely clear, although many of the fortified residences in the castellanies of Meaux and Coulommiers facing the royal domain appear to have been licensed, perhaps even subsidized, by Henry I to strengthen the county's border in a region of few old baronial castles [...] Within a generation those walled compounds transformed the landscape, just as the construction of new villages and reformed monasteries earlier in the century had filled in the open spaces between the old towns, castles, and Benedictine monasteries.
The second development promoted by the rise of the comital state was the chancery's validation of women as fiefholders. Certainly women had held and disposed of fiefs much earlier in the century, as they had elsewhere. It was not fiefholding per se that was new but rather chancery conventions: whereas the scribes of Henry I's rolls of fiefs named only men and their male heirs as fiefholders (only 12 women appear among the 1899 fiefholders in 1178), a decade later the scribes of Henry II's rolls routinely included among the count's current fiefholders the wives and widows who held their dower fiefs and acted as custodians for their children's fiefs (in 1190, women held about 13,4 percent of recently transferred fiefs). In every subsequent inquest through the thirteenth century, women held between 17 percent and 20 percent of the count's fiefs- as their own inheritances, as dowers, or in custody for their husbands and heirs. Unlike the monastic scribes, who often represented wives as only consenters to the disposition of their own properties, the count's scribes recognized the actual role of women as fiefholders by right of inheritance, dower, or custody. What is particularly remarkable about the chancery's referencing of women fiefholders in the last decades of the century is that it coincides with the use of personal seals by highborn women, who had begun to seal letters patent, both jointly with their husbands and independently for their personal transactions.

Affairs of the Heart: Chapter 1 [Knight!Sanemi x Princess!Reader](Royalty AU, Westernized Plot, SFW/NSFW Scenario)
Summary: Sanemi is a knight for the (L/n) Empire’s second princess; only, their relationship isn’t simply that of a princess and her retainer. Behind closed doors, they’re merely a man and his lover. At least, until the day they dreaded the most comes: the day when (Y/n) finally gets engaged to another man.
Note: Yes, this is for the 2,666 promo. 😅 Sorry it took so long. It’s also for the 3,666 milestone now. 😂
Chapter: 1/3
Warnings: Smut, Secret Rendezvous, Forbidden Love
***
Heavy breaths rasped against (Y/n)’s ear, just as she felt the warmth of familiar lips drifting against the shell of it; trailing down the side of her neck, as her lover whispered, “You feel so fucking amazing, (Y/n).”
He knew that he shouldn’t have been addressing her by her first name— that it would count as blasphemy, and would amount to his death if anyone had ever heard him— but Sanemi couldn’t care less. Every thrust, and every drag of his cock against her walls had him melting further against her.
Meanwhile, (Y/n) dug her nails into her lover’s back; raking them down the broad expanse when she felt him dig deep and deliberately begin thrusting against her cervix.
Every move felt so heavenly, to the point where she could feel her legs shaking with so much pleasure. “Harder, Sanemi. Please. I want you to ruin me.”
Her whispered plea only spurred the knight on, having him move faster and harder against her even though he was beginning to feel a bit winded himself. After taking her three times before, it was to be expected— but he really couldn’t get enough of her.
A part of him believed that he would never get enough of her. So he had to get his fill of her while he still could.
It wouldn’t have been a problem had he been born to nobility, even a lowly Baron family would have did him some good as he’d wanted to stay with (Y/n) forever. But life wasn’t fair, and fate wasn’t taking his side on anything, so he’d had to work his way up to the palace from being a commoner.
At that thought, he screwed his eyes shut and lost himself to the feel of his lover’s body welcoming him so wonderfully. Her moans and mewls right softly echoing within her room drove him even hotter with need for her; it had him wanting to fill her up one more time, even if the consequences of him getting her pregnant would be catastrophic.
Still, he wanted to be selfish; as selfish as she was. Especially when he felt her legs lock around his waist and pull him closer than before.
“Cum inside, I want to feel your cum inside me. Please.” (Y/n)’s words were punctuated by a sensual bite to the silver-haired knight’s neck, and it drove him absolutely crazy for her. His thrusts began to get rougher than before, even as his arms shook from having to hold himself up.
(Y/n) was so close to screaming in pleasure; with every brush of Sanemi’s cock against that one spot inside of her that had her back arching. He was so warm, but the heat she felt building up inside of her had very little to do with his body heat; it was because she was undeniably close to cumming for the nth time that night.
Sanemi was the only lover she’d ever had, and she couldn’t have asked for a more selfless lover than him.
And when he gave in to her request— dipping his hips low and burying his cock in her to the hilt, she knew that he was the only one that she would welcome into her arms, and right between her legs— for the rest of her life.
Even if she still had the threat of being married off looming above her head.
His cum filled her up deep inside, warming her even further and making her feel as if it was the rightest thing in the universe. Being with Sanemi was just that; right and natural.
“I love you so much, (Y/n).”
***
The moment that (Y/n) was fast asleep, Sanemi had taken it upon himself to dress her back in the night gown he’d slipped off of her body before. There was nothing more that he wanted than to lay in bed and wake up next to her the following morning, but he was nothing more than her personal soldier.
Tasked to guard her throughout the night, and to keep unwanted guests from disturbing her.
With a heavy sigh, he got up from where he sat on the edge of the bed; giving the slumbering princess one last, longing look, before making his way out of her room.
It was their usual routine, but he’d be damned if he didn’t admit to how much it hurt him each and every time he was forced to leave her.
Still, he had no choice. Because, no matter how hard he tried to turn and twist the world in his favor, the fact remained: they were still worlds apart.
***
“Your Imperial Highness, it’s time to start the day,” One of (Y/n)’s handmaids uttered gently, keeping her head low and her stance small as she waited for the young lady to turn her gaze towards her.
Those eyes, the color that was only possessed by the members of the royal family, narrowed into irate slits; not even bothering to hide the displeasure that their owner felt, while she sat upright in her bed and let her covers pool at her waist.
She could still feel Sanemi on every inch of her body; his touch leaving behind a warm feeling, that still lingered on her skin. It was the only thing she clung to, in order to keep herself sane in her gilded cage.
“What’s on the agenda for today?” (Y/n) asked flatly, giving up on her irritation and settling for defeat instead. No matter what she did, she was sure that she wouldn’t be able to get out of her royal duties.
After all, she was no longer sixteen and irresponsible. She was twenty two, and well ensconced with the day to day tasks that were supposed to fall on her mother and sister.
Only, her mother had long since passed away, and her older sister had already been married off to the neighboring kingdom’s prince. So, all of the tasks of the lady of the house fell to her.
“Her Highness has the morning to approve of the castle’s Autumn budget, as well as plan out this season’s harvest festival.”
(Y/n) barely resisted the urge to scowl at that. “And in the afternoon?”
“His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor, is requesting you to join him for tea in his office.”
“After that?”
“Her Highness has no more scheduled engagements after that.” The maid bowed her head once more, stepping back a little to make way for (Y/n), as she got out of bed and held her arms out for the aforementioned maid to slip her silk robe on her.
Getting ready for the day was such a tedious task, but she had no choice but to go along with it.
All because it was all that she knew. (Y/n) had been born into that life and, had she not met Sanemi, then she would still be trudging through the same routine in the most miserable manner.
The mere thought of him had her mood lightening the tiniest bit; and, for the briefest moment, she found herself smiling at the memories of her silver-haired knight.
He made things much more bearable, even as her other maids hemmed and hawed at her to make her even more presentable for the day.
And once the grueling task was done, she surveyed her reflection in the mirror— eyeing the lilac colored jewels that adorned her throat; chosen specifically to match her paramour’s eyes.
“Where’s Sanemi?” (Y/n) asked, her gaze flickering over to one of the maids through the mirror. She was not cruel by any means, but it made her lips twitch up into a smile when she saw the unlucky woman bristle up at the sudden attention she gave her.
“S-Sir Shinazugawa is right outside, Your Highness,” the small woman answered, bowing her head low as a sign of respect. “If it pleases Her Highness, should I summon him?”
(Y/n) lifted a hand up to touch the jewels at her throat. “Yes, send him in. And all of you are dismissed. Leave us.”
A soft chorus of “Yes, Your Highness”— partnered with all six of her maids curtsying— answered her. And, without much fuss, all of them filed out of her room; only to be followed by Sanemi entering the expansive space and closing the door behind him.
“Good morning, Your Imperial Highness,” The silver-haired knight greeted with a courteous bow of his head, as well as a fist laid over his chest; a customary way to greet nobles in the (L/n) empire.
It irked (Y/n) to no end, making her grit her teeth and blatanly scowl as she marched over to where Sanemi was.
And, without much thought or hesitance, she cupped his face in her hands and brought their lips together in a searing kiss; if only to get her irritation across without snapping at him.
“I told you never to call me that when we’re alone, Sanemi.” Her words sounded soft and pouty, even to her own ears. But she couldn’t care less about putting on a composed front, as Sanemi was her solace; the one person with whom she could be herself with.
After all, they had been lovers ever since he’d become her knight when she was sixteen; and with her being much older at that point, he had seen every facet of her personality— even the worst ones.
And he still loved her for them; not despite them.
Slowly, a smile tugged up at the corners of the young man’s lips; making him seem years younger without that trademark scowl on his face. He then lifted his own hands up, encircling his lover’s wrists and bringing her hands down to his lips— pressing kisses to her fingertips, before laying her palms flat against his chest.
“It’s what’s proper, (Y/n).”
(Y/n) was silent at that, refusing to validate his words with a response. Because she knew that dragging things on would just upset both of them, and she didn’t need another misunderstanding between them.
Sensing the damper in her mood, Sanemi pursed his lips and sighed at his gaffe. So, to make up for it, he pulled (Y/n)’s arms up to rest on his shoulders, and closed the distance between their lips; claiming hers in such a soft and lingering kiss that had her smiling into it.
She responded to his advances readily, opening her mouth and welcoming Sanemi’s tongue to play with hers. He tasted like tea, and something mildly sweet and tangy; which made her enthusiastically suck on his tongue to taste more of it.
When they parted, both of them panting lightly in an effort to catch their breaths, Sanemi found himself grinning at the brazen move that (Y/n) had pulled on him. “Did you really have to suck on my tongue, Princess?”
With those blatantly hanging in the air, (Y/n)’s cheeks inevitably warmed up with a blush. “I... I liked the taste.”
Sanemi could only quirk an eyebrow at that, as he dug into his right pocket and pulled out a piece of candy wrapped in cellophane. He then made quick work of the wrapper, crumpling it up and putting it in his pocket, after holding the sugary treat up to his lover’s lips— gliding it along her bottom lip to entice her, before letting her have it.
“I shouldn’t be eating sweets so early in the morning,” (Y/n) whispered with a laugh, yet still leaned forward to brush a chaste kiss to Sanemi’s lips— all while letting her hands delve into his hair.
A laugh bubbled free from the knight’s lips at that, as his hands anchored themselves to either side of (Y/n)’s waist, just as he gently pressed his forehead against hers. “You shouldn’t be doing a lot of things, Princess— like being with me. Yet here we are...”

Hey! I hate to bother you, but I was wondering if you could expand on vampire lore behind Romulus? He’s a super interesting character and I’d love to hear more about vampires in the HP world!
:O !!! I’d love to! Here are some of the more important lore me and my good friend @meadowslittlebug came up with! Please go check her out, her art deserves more attention and she’s a wonderful person!
Vampires, Dhamphirs, and Vampire-borns
Two vampires who produce a child with the magic gene, this child called Vampire-born. This is the result of one or both parents having wizarding ancestry. If there’s no wizard ancestry in their bloodlines the child is called a Vampyr. The vampire-born and vampyr have a slow growing process, reaching the maturity of their bodies around 160 and 200 years old. They share the same traits as their turned brethren. A child of a human and a vampire or a human and a part vampire is called a Dhampir. Dhampir’s are only given to those who are at least ⅛ vampire. Some will always inherit vampiric traits such as sharp facial features, fangs, oddly coloured irises, an allergy to garlic and silver, and a repulsion to werewolves, but the rest of the vampiric traits are selected at random.
Aging
Newborns: They are newborn vampires. Their abilities are very limited.
Fledglings: They are Junior vampires a.k.a Vampires in training. A Fledgling learns how to control their thirst and hunting instincts along with gaining the ability to turn into a bat at will. Usually an older vampire is the mentor of the Fledglings and they can have more than one mentor. Mentors are usually the parents.
Matured: Fully grown vampires. They are the most common types of vampires found in the known world. They can turn other mortals into vampires.
Elder/Ancient: Vampires that are over 1000 years old, usually these ones are highly respected by the vampiric community, usually Elders hold positions of leadership. These are the ones that look less human-like and more like a real vampire.
[Picture: Top - Matured vampires, Bottom - Elder/Ancient vampire]
Tumblr media
Vampires age MUCH slower than normal humans. 10 human years is equivalent to 1 vampire year.
Diet
Vampires can only drink blood. If they consume other kinds of food or drinks, their bodies will react violently until they expel all the contents. It was believed that human blood was necessary in the survival of Vampires, however vampires simply need blood, any kind of blood to keep their strength up. Such examples are animals. Human blood is just more nutritious and better tasting than animal blood. Vampires living on a diet of human blood will need to drink less than vampires living on a diet of animal blood.
Biology
• Vampires possess anticoagulant in their saliva that helps the blood keep flowing after the incision was done.
• Quick regeneration after an injury.
• They hiss at each other to mark dominance or as a warning sound.
• During their first few centuries they can reproduce, but after that period of time they become sterile and only can turn humans into vampires.
• Vampires can live without drinking blood for a couple weeks, but if the being haven’t consumed blood in a while, their appearance will age quickly and look more like a living corpse and more prone to act feral.
• Instead of water-based tears, vampires cry blood tears.
• Some vampires can have black scleras. Mostly the older generations, however it can be passed down.
[Picture: Black scleras]
Tumblr media
• No vampire or part vampire has brown eyes. The only vampires that can have brown eyes are the ones that were turned. This is the #1 technique used to identify true vampires and human-turned vampires. True vampires can have eye colours ranging from blue, green, red, pink, orange, and purple. They NEVER have yellow eyes as that is a distinguishing feature of werewolves and part werewolves.
[Picture: Vampire eye colours]
Tumblr media
• Enhanced senses.
• Enhanced strength, speed and agility.
• Being able to float and fly unassisted.
• Able to shoot plasma balls, this skill must be trained and only temporarily paralyzes prey
• Sunlight doesn’t kill them but they get burned pretty badly, feeling as if they were being burned to the bone, they can regenerate when they are in the shadows again.
• Since they are nocturnal creatures they are very sensitive to any source of light and can be temporarily blinded.
• Can only be killed by a wooden stake to the heart
• Silver is a ‘pure’ metal and makes vampires get burned or have bad allergic reactions.
• A Werewolf bite can be fatal to vampires. The Toxin from the werewolf and the venom in the vampire blood cause a reaction that makes the vampire deteriorate and die.
• Crucifixes and holy symbols is ambiguous, they produce a cringey effect in vampires but also there’s also a few that likes to see crucifixes, usually those have an inclination for liking the suffering.
• Poisoned or disease ridden blood ( sickness or toxic substances) will give the vampire a stomach ache.
Races & Branches
Humanoid: The newest generation of vampires, with their attractive features some can mingle between humans unnoticed, and some may resemble a typical vampire that it’s very obvious. Characterized for having pale skin, bright and odd eye coloration, fangs, as well as sharp features. (ex: European vampires, Jiangshi)
[Picture: 1 - Humanoid vampires, 2 - a Jiangshi (Chinese vampire) and European vampire just vibing]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ancient: One of the oldest generation of vampires. They are older than 1000 years old. Around the age of 1000 their bodies change to a less humanoid features and have features such as longer ears, balding, bigger and longer fangs. Due to their age, ancient vampires are more reclusive compared to other races and don’t interact fully with the outer world. They wait until their prey is close enough to ambush.
[Picture: Ancient/Elder vampires]
Tumblr media
Feral: Vampiric beast-like monsters or creatures that attack without distinction at humans and animals alike. Usually is known for attacking livestock. Some examples of these creatures are the Sasabonsam and the Chupacabras.

History
Before 1811 (or early 1800s) , humans and wizards alike used to hunt vampires for sport. They mainly targeted the old and elderly vampires (over 1000 years old) and would bring home their decapitated heads as a trophy. The reason behind this was because the older vampires looked less human like than the younger generations do so it was easier for Muggles and Wizards to see them as an non-human entity. Most of the older vampires they slaughtered were of high position as they were elders, kings, queens, and other members of the royal vampire court. Because of the fact that vampires are immortal and time passes way differently in their perception, a lot of vampires today are still enraged at wizard kind because they were alive before they made vampire slaying illegal.
During the 1700s, the fear of vampires were at its highest point. People were stabbing the recently deceased with wooden stakes to prevent them from potentially turning into vampires and were insanely paranoid about them. They did all they could to protect themselves and their families from vampires. Vampire slaying was also at its peak, especially since wizarding ministries were promising people rewards of 200 galleons PER VAMPIRE slain. The vampire community combated this with trying to turn as many humans and wizards into one of their own in an attempt to repopulate and give them a taste of what it feels like to be treated badly. This is an extremely important time in history and is addressed as The Great Vampire Revolt. Again, most vampires alive in the present day were alive when all of this took place.
Given the frictions between the vampire and mortal community in the past, having relationships between both communities was frowned upon. If a vampire married a mortal, the vampire must make a choice, turn their loved one or must abandon the vampire community until the spouse is dead. However their offspring was well received, but part human part vampire offspring are pretty rare in present day. Other reasons as to why they are not common is because of the biological differences between the human and vampire causing problems conceiving or early infant hood death.
Monarchy
A Vampire Monarchy is a vampire who rules over a country. The vampires of a country form the Vampire Monarch’s Kingdom or Queendom. It is overseen by the Monarch, who also has authority over his or her vampire subjects. Although the countries are under complete reign by their individual monarch, they still remain under the jurisdiction of the Vampire Council in the Vampire Hierarchy.
The Vampire Council was a clandestine council that is composed of eight of the most politically powerful vampires in the known world. It is the ultimate authority over all vampires across the globe, overseeing matters of both religious and political purview in relation to the vampire population. It was worshiped by many and feared by even more.
[Picture: Members of the vampire council]
Tumblr media
A vampire is granted the title of king or queen if they are in line for the throne and the current king or queen passes away or abdicated the throne. Upon the death of the reigning monarch, the Vampire Council will appoint a new king or queen. Vampires can also earn titles such as duke and duchess, baron and baroness (or thane), viscount and viscountess, count and countess (or earl), baronet and baroness, imperial knight and lady, or gentleman and gentry. by doing a very significant or impressive act to be granted a title. These royal titles can vary and differ depending on geographical locations.
Vampire Academies
Since the vampire population is much lower than the wizards there are not that many educational institutions for them to attend. The only ones we came up with so far is that there is one in Transylvania, Romania, Russia, and China.
Fun Facts
• Some may say that they have a ‘not giving a shit’ way of life and only care for their interests and brethren. For example they are not phased by murders of species out of their own kind (I mean they’ve been drinking the blood of humans since the beginning of time), one’s sexuality, or most things deemed dangerous by mortals. After all they gave bigger thing to worry about, like how they’re gonna acquire their next meal and figuring out how to enter places without being invited inside.
• Their pupils are slit shaped and the iris in different bright colors
• They can’t be killed by the killing curse, only stabbing them through the heart with a wooden stake (preferably made from wood of a peach tree. Any other wood will result in a slower death while peach tree wood will cause an instant death)
• There’s a vampire transcontinental championship where vampires from all over the world compete to see who’s the fastest flyer. For centuries, Asia has been taking first place.
• They sleep with their arms crossed over their chest. It doesn’t matter if they’re hanging upside down or in a coffin or laying on a couch, they’ll always end up in that position.
• They can hang upside down from any ceiling
Alright, that’s only a small part of what we have come up with, but if you have any questions about ANY of the lore or vampires in the HP universe in general, feel free to shoot me an ask!

A Brief Guide to Writing British Nobles
>>By @writerthreads on Instagram
*note that different eras have different rules. This post is quite general, so research more specific details if you’re focusing on a certain period of time!
The following titles are under a Peerage, where peers were people who would hold one or more title(s) of duke, marquess, earl, viscount and baron. They swore an oath as a servent of the monarch in exchange for land or money.
Sovereign
The Sovereign holds the most power in the country, although they do not have the power they used to in England as there is a now the Prime Minister. But if we’re talking about the olden ages, they would be the King or Queen. Typically, the Queen would be married into the royal family, and be beside the King, unless the King only had daughters, in which, (depending on the era for women were not allowed to rule for a time period a few hundred years ago) they would then be Queen.
Duke/Duchess
A duke outranks the other noble titles, namely the earl, marquess, viscount and baron. There are two types of dukedoms: royal and non-royal. Royal dukedoms can only be inherited if one is a member of the royal family and are hereditary.
Most princes become dukes when they’re married and their wife will be referred to as a duchess. (If you were not a member of the royal family but your parents were the duke and duchess you’d still inherit that title.) Non-royal dukedoms are titles given to a person by a king or queen. A duke is a ruler of a duchy, which is basically a large area of land, a territory. A duke is typically addressed as “Your Grace”.
Marquees/Marchioness
This title outranks the rest except for the duke and sovereign. This title is quite rare nowadays. The Marchioness is the wife of the Marquees. Marquees were the owners of a march which was on the border of the country, which meant that they were responsible for defending against anyone who tried to intrude or attack England. (FYI: a Count would typically be the owner of a county, which was more inland)
Marquees and Marchioness are addressed as “My Lord” or “My Lady” in speech, and “Lord/Dear Mannerisms” in social writing, where the atmosphere is less formal.
Earl/Countess
Earls are ranked below the Marquess and above the Viscounts. They were royal governors and had the authority to rule lands and judge courts in their provinces. Along with that they’d collect taxes, earning a third of the total. Over the years, their power decreased and increased depending on who was ruling England, and nowadays, they do not hold much power in their hands.
The Countess would be the Earl’s wife, and by the general population, be referred to as “My Lady” while the Earl would be addressed as “My Lord”. His eldest son would be called the Viscount.
Viscount/Viscountess
In Great Britain, people would use Viscount as a title for the heir of an Earl of Marquess as courtesy, but other than that, (depending on the time period) they were not hereditary in fear of a rebellion, and instead, titles were given by the Monarch. They would also collect taxes from people.
They’re also referred to as “My Lady” and “My Lord”.
Baron/Baroness
The baron was a land-holding nobleman and is one of the lowest ranks of nobility, and the lowest in a peerage. In the Middle Ages, they ruled over large areas of land (fiefs) and would report to the king. They’d also maintain the country’s army. “Baron” quite literally means “man”, so they were “men of the king”.
The rank of Baron is often hereditary although the first Barons were given the titles by the monarchy. In formal settings, they’d be addressed as “The Right Honourable The Lord/Lady”, but in social settings, “Lord/Lady”.
Knight/Dame
A knighthood is a title given to a man for his service to the country, and would be referred to as “Sir”. This would give them the status of the knight, in which they would be expected to learn how to fight and serve his liege lord in the Code of Chivalry. Being a knight came with great benefits: they were often given a piece of land to govern, and would collect taxes from the people. Only men were typically knights, though the title Dame is given to the wife or daughter of a lord, or a woman of knighthood.
Knighthood is not hereditary.

Kirby: Meta Knight and the Puppet Princess Chapter 7
Tumblr media
“You sure have a lot of hideouts.” Said the Princess, impressed. Smiling faintly, Baron Gallic replied. “My plan is always perfect. To get my hands on the treasure, I wouldn’t shirk from any preparation.” “......I expected no less.”
The three composed of Baron Gallic, Princess Marona, and Blade Knight were inside of an old fort located somewhat away from the capital. It was constructed long ago when there were no shortage of conflicts, but fell into disuse after peace was brought to this star. Nowadays, it is in ruins where no one even approaches it. Baron Gallic brought furniture and carpet to this fort and passed it off as a comfortable hideout. It’s a mere ruin seen from outside, but the inside is quite gorgeous, just like a mansion. The door of the chamber opened, and a small purple creature came in. It has a long spear on its hand.
Tumblr media
“I’ve finished patrolling the fortress, Lord Gallic~. Nothing unusual~.” “Yeah, good work, oh Spear Cotta Knight.” Gallic thanked his henchman. “Continue to be on your guard. Drive away absolutely anyone that comes close to the fortress. It doesn’t matter if you injure them.” “Yes, sir!” Spear Cotta Knight left in high spirits. Princess Marona said. “You even prepared a henchman like that. Who is he? He doesn’t seem to be an inhabitant of our Chiffon Star......” “Hehehe......I’m fine with anyone. I have plenty of faithful underlings. They’ll risk even their lives for me.” Baron Gallic smiled meaningfully, and looked at Blade Knight. “You’re one of them, Blade Knight.” “Of course, my lord. I would risk even my life for you......” Replied Blade Knight in a hollow voice. It was a voice lacking emotion, completely different from his usual self. Princess Marona looked at Blade Knight with an uneasy look. “Good, Blade Knight. Then let us carry forward with my plan at once. I am after the throne.” Said Baron Gallic. “The throne?” Princess Marona asked back, and Gallic nodded. “Correct. We will assassinate the wicked Merengue XIII and I will be the king.” “Did you say assassinate!? My father!?” Marona raised her shrill voice. “Dearie me, what are you so surprised about? Were you not the one that said that I’m worthy to be the king?” “I-I said that......?” “Did you forget?” Princess Marona shook her head in a hurry, getting stared at with narrow eyes. “No, of course I remember. But......don’t do something so terrible as assassinate!” Marona pleaded with a frantic look. “I’ll convince my father to turn over the throne to you and retire. My father and I will leave the capital and live in a village in the countryside. We’ll discard the royal status and live happily like a normal family. That would be fine, right?” “No, that isn’t, oh weak hearted princess.” Baron Gallic said in a cruel voice. “My life is in danger if I let the king live. Merengue XIII must leave this world.” “No way......!” Princess Marona turned pale. The baron said to Blade Knight. “Defend me and fight, oh Blade Knight. Meta Knight is bound to get in my way.” “Meta Knight......” “Aye, you’ll crush that fiend and protect the peace of the universe. Oh Blade Knight, I shall make you a general if you manage to bring him down successfully. It is the greatest honor.” “Meta Knight......Meta......Knight......?” Blade Knight murmured in agony, and squeezed his hands tightly. His hands started trembling, and he raised his face. “Lord Meta Knight is an evildoer? No way......that can’t be!” To Blade Knight, Meta Knight is his master more important than anyone. Recalling the days that he served under him, he regained his senses at last. “I......what am I doing? Why am I here......? Blast it all......is it your dang hypnosis again!?” Blade Knight quickly drew his sword and thrust it before Baron Gallic. Keeping his cool, the baron took out a red jem from his breast pocket. “Do not act so violently, oh Blade Knight. Look at this beautiful Malice Stone and calm your mind.” The red jewel glowed brighter as if responding to his voice. Blade Knight lowered his sword and said in a gloomy voice. “......Please forgive me, Lord Gallic.” “It’s fine if you get it. I’m counting on you, Blade Knight.” “Yes, sir.” Next, the baron thrusted the Malice Stone before the princess’ eyes. The princess scowled at the jewel without a blink. Seeing her face, Baron Gallic was puzzled. “Oh my? Something feels off......oh princess, did something happen?” “......Nothing.” Princess Marona shook her head. “You’re right, Baron Gallic. Let’s assassinate my father and take his throne. I’ll burn down all the cake shops in this star without a building left behind.” “Good. You’re thinking correctly again at last.” The baron gloated in satisfaction. Seeing his face, Princess Marona desperately held her rage. (Hmph, idiot! That stone doesn’t work on me anymore! Just how was I deceived by an butthole like that!? How dare you think of something so terrible like assassinating my father! I’ll never forgive you!) Right now however, it’s better for her to continue pretending to be hypnotized. That was what the princess decided at once.
“The baron and the rest seem to be in that old fortress.” Said Meta Knight while checking the tracking device. A worn out fort is built on top of a hill.
Tumblr media
“It’s a ruin so worn out that no one would approach. That Gallic sure prepares well.” Said Sword Knight. “Gallic is very shrewd. Don't take any wooden nickels, Kirby.” “It’s okay! Leave it to me!” “We charge in then. Sword Knight, you’ll......” “......I understand, sir. I have resolved myself.” With a look of acceptance, Sword Knight turned towards Kirby. “It’s to rescue Blade Knight and Princess Marona. Put my power to good use, Kirby.” “I will! Let’s go~!” Kirby sucks up Sword Knight. In an instant, a green hat is on Kirby’s head, with a radiant sword on his arms. “I copied the ‘Sword’ ability! Let’s go, Meta Knight!” “Aye. I have no chance against his red jem. I’ll leave that to you. I’ll deal with Blade Knight and Princess Marona.” “Aye aye, sir~!” With a clang, Meta Knight and Kirby butted their swords together. “Onwards we go.” The pair ran as if they were on fire toward the fortress on top of a hill.
In the quiet fortress, a sound like that of a lighting reverberated all of a sudden. Blade Knight and Princess Marona jumped up in surprise. The door burst open, and Spear Cotta Knight rushed in. “We-We’re in trouble, my lord! Some shady lots have attacked! Not to mention how they smashed the door!” Gallic didn’t lose his composure even as he listened. “Don’t wet your pants from an attack. What are you, oh gatekeeper, doing instead of holding them back.” “B-But the enemies are ridiculously strong! They’re guys like a masked swordsman and a pink-colored demon......!” “Heheh, wouldn’t you know.” Gallic stood up. “Meta......” Princess Marona tried to say his name, but Gallic quickly raised his finger and hushed the princess. “You cannot say that name, oh foolish princess. You know that Blade Knight will act strangely.” “......Gotcha.” “The most wicked scoundrel in the universe appears to have already discovered this hideout. Let us do away with him and go for the throne in one go.” “Yes, my lord.” Blade Knight bowed politely. Meta Knight and Kirby barged in at that moment. Blade Knight swiftly drew his sword and leaped in before meta Knight. “Blade Knight!” Shouts Meta Knight, but Blade Knight slashed at Meta Knight in silence. Stopping the attack with his sword, Meta Knight shouts. “Get a grip, Blade Knight. It’s me, Meta Knight.” “......” “You’re my precious man. Think back to me and Sword Knight.” Blade Knight stopped moving. “Sword......Knight......?” “That’s it. I am Meta Knight. And you are Blade Knight, the honorable swordsman!” Blade Knight was at a loss and lowered his sword. The spell is broken. Baron Gallic was the one to open his mouth. “That’s as far as you go, Meta Knight. Try not to instill strange things on my faithful subordinate.” “Gallic......!” “Oh Blade Knight, do not lend your ears to the scoundrel. You shall be a general if you were to bring him down.” “A general......?” “Correct. I shall do whatever you prefer as a reward. Fight for me, oh Blade Knight!” The baron took out a red jewel from his breast pocket and held it up high. Meta Knight quickly cast his eyes down. Standing ready again with his sword, Blade Knight shouted loudly and slashed at Meta Knight. “You’re......a fiend that disrupts the peace of the universe and torments Lord Gallic! Have at you!” “Blade Knight!” Meta Knight is overwhelmingly superior in swordsmanship. However, he cannot fight with his eyes cast down. Right when Blade Knight’s sword was about to wound Meat Knight: “No~, Blade Knight! Get a hold of yourself!” Kirby broke in and repelled Blade Knight’s sword with his own sword. “So you came, pink demon!” “I’m not a demon, gee! It’s me, Kirby!” “So you’re comrades with the evildoer!? I’ll crush you!” “Geez, you knucklehead!” Seeing Kirby and Blade Knight fighting, Baron Gallic tilted his head in puzzlement. “Why doesn't the power of the Malice Stone work on that pink boy......? That’s strange. Has the power of the stone faded......?” Holding the Malice Stone between his fingers, Gallic fixed his eyes on it. Princess Marona approached from his behind with stealthy steps. The baron has his guard down completely. Taking advantage of his opening, the princess sprang at the baron with all the force she could summon. “Augh!? What are you up to!?” The baron shouted loudly. The princess is hectic in trying to snatch the jem from him. “Hand over the jewel, you halfwit! I’m not letting you do as you want!”
Tumblr media
“What the......!? W-Was the spell broken, oh brazen princess!?” “Humph, your bogus of a hypnotism doesn’t work on me anymore! I said to hand it over, you boney dingleberry!” “W......WHAT!!!?? S-Such impertinence!” His face in bright red, the baron sent the princess flying. The princess has succeeded in wrenching the jewel. However, her body is blown away and nearly crashes into the wall!!! “Watch out, princess!” Shouted Kirby, and shields the princess. The two slammed into the wall together. Kirby served his role as the cushion, and the princess was without a scratch. He wasn’t so lucky however. His ‘Sword’ ability fell off from the shock of being squashed between the princess and the wall. And he was passed out, to make matters worse. “This is bad! Pull yourself together, pink kid!” The princess held up Kirby in a hurry. Three shadows approached from behind her. They were Baron Gallic, Blade Knight, and Sword Knight who returned to normal. Turning around, the princess was startled. “You all......ah, oh no!” The princess realized the red jewel she had in her hands. She hurriedly concealed it by turning her hand behind, but it was too late. Not only Blade Knight, but even Sword Knight fell under the spell of the jewel. Baron Gallic commanded in infuriation. “You lot, seize that insolent, selfish, and hooligan of a princess! No need to go easy on her!” “Yes, my lord!” “Meta Knight!” Shrieked the princess. “Save me, Meta Knight! It’s okay to raise your head; I snatch the jewel away!” Meta Knight kicked the ground immediately as he heard her words. He slashes right at Gallic. Gallic dodged it nimbly and ordered in a loud voice. “Blade Knight, Sword Knight, get rid of that villain! I’ll grant whatever you wish for in reward!” “You seem to believe that anyone will do as you wish if you offer a reward.” Said Meta Knight, and brandished his sword. Gallic took out his knives and flung them, but Meta Knight knocked them all down with his sword. “Honorable swordsmen are not drawn to a reward. I don’t suppose you know what the word ‘honor’ means!” “Shut your mouth! What the devil are you doing, Sword Knight, Blade Knight!” “On it, my lord!” The pair forcibly slashed at Meta Knight. In a real real sword fight, the two would be of no match for Meta Knight even with both of them. But Meta Knight was at a disadvantage right now. He must fight while being discreet to not injure the two. “Come to your senses! Blade Knight! Sword Knight......!” The pair didn’t react to even his calls. Meta Knight is slowly driven to the wall. In the meantime, Barron Gallic tried to rush at Princess Marona. The princess slipped through his hands and sprinted to the window. Realizing what she was about to do, the baron let out a piercing cry. “Stop it! Malice Stone is my treasure!!” “This thing!” She hurriedly opened the window and gave the jewel a good throw. The baron tried to lunge at her, but didn’t make it in time. As it glittered brightly, the jewel fell somewhere down at the foot of the hill. “AHHHHHHH!!!! Oh, my lovely Malice Stone!!!!” Grieved Baron Gallic in a loud voice, and scowled at Princess Marona with eyes filled with rage. “You piece of shit......unforgivable! How dare you do that to my treasure......!” “That’s my line! To try to kill my father; absolutely unforgivable!” “Shut your mouth, you tramp!” Gallic grabbed the large book laid on the shelf alongside the wall. The princess’ eyes flared up. “I’m not handing over that book! It’s an precious recipe book that’s passed down in our royal family!” “Who’s the one that stole that precious recipe book and presented it to me?” “......! Give it back!” The princess leapt at Baron Gallic. Gallic seized the princess’ hand and twisted it up. “It hurts......!” The princess screamed involuntarily. While having her hand seized, Gallic ran up to the window. “Wait, Gallic!” Shouted Meta Knight. Hearing the panicked voice, Gallic at last regained his composure. “Ha! So long, Meta Knight. I’ll be taking the recipe book and the princess.” “Let go of the princess!” Blade Knight and Sword Knight are obstructing Meta Knight. Gallic laughed mockingly. “The princess pales in comparison to the value of the recipe book, but I could use a hostage. I’ll keep her as a companion until I escape safely.” “Gallic! Let go of the princess!” “Hahaha! I’ll release her after I escape safely. That is, throwing her out of my spaceship.” Tugging the struggling princess’ hand, Gallic jumped out from the window.
Tumblr media
A flying boat was waiting beneath the window, where Spear Cotta Knight is the one on the pilot’s seat. Boarding Gallic and Princess Marona, the airboat gained height steadily and left the fortress. “Gallic......!” Groaned Meta Knight while blocking Blade Knight and Sword Knight’s swords. Right then: “Meta Knight! You can leave this to me!” Kirby, who was knocked out, regained consciousness at last. Blade Knight and Sword Knight turn around. Kirby forcefully spits out an air pellet at the two. “Augh......!” Towards the pair blown away, Kirby takes an ‘Inhale’ stance. Meta Knight shouts. “I’m counting on you, Kirby! Try not to injure the pair!” Instead of a response, Kirby inhales with all his might.

Geralt rushes back to the baron’s manor, clutching you against his chest as if holding you tighter will slow down the inevitable. He never should have allowed you to stay – he should have been more careful. It had been reckless of him to allow you so close during those crucial moments. He’d put you at risk, and you might very well die because of it.
He doesn’t bother to explain the situation upon barging through the door. No one in this damned manor cares enough about you to be even remotely deserving. Instead, he barks orders. “Clean bed, now!” He knows it would be nearly impossible to keep his voice down, so he doesn’t even try. Why waste the energy?
Thankfully, the staff he encounters upon entering the manor – two guards who look half bored to dead – respond nearly immediately to his frenzied yelling. One of them motioned for him to follow, which he does, cradling your limp body in his arms gently, so as not to jostle you around too much. The gashes on your back are not only deep, but filled with poison thanks to the Noonwraith’s taloned fingers, and he wants to do what he can to avoid making the pain even worse.
For you, the world seems to exist only in a murky grayness where you can neither sleep nor wake. You are reminded only of the intense fever dreams you’d had when you were a child and contracted Yellow Fever. You shiver against the nonexistent cold as heat radiates off your body, soaking the fresh sheets of an unfamiliar bed with sweat. Geralt can only watch with a grim determination as he goes about cleaning and dressing your wounds.
Images flash, causing you to toss and turn in your fitful false sleep. You see the wraith, with its spectral glow and horribly disfigured face, hands like talons. You see Geralt pressed back against the wall, the wraith descending upon him. It is like you’re watching the scene, rather than taking part in it. You watch as you pull the knife. You see the look of doubt and dread flicker on your face for a fraction of a second before you watch as you drag the sharp edge of the knife against your open palm. Your blood sizzles as it hits the stone below, which you can hear even over your own yelling.
“Mama!”
You see the wraith charge at the girl, who looks utterly terrified and utterly determined at the same time. You almost forget that the girl you are watching is you as the wraith turns and descends upon her, striking out with razor-sharp claws and tearing away cloth and flesh in one easy stroke. You watch in horror as the girl – me, you vaguely remember – flattens herself on the ground, as if hoping she might sink right into it.
Thankfully, you are only partially present as pain sears through you as the Witcher carefully cleans each wound. Though his hands are gentle, the elixir he uses to counteract the venom is not. He grimaces as he holds you down gently as he pours the elixir into your open wounds, pushing against you as you fight to throw him off, no doubt trying to escape the hissing burn of the anti-venom. He knows how the elixir feels as it burns away the venom by indiscriminately tearing through your cells.
He gave you as much as he could of a human-safe herbal mixture for the pain, but from the way you are trying to thrash about, it seems it has only lessened the pain from one level of excruciating to another, slightly lower one. He hurries to finish cleaning the wounds so that he can apply a numbing salve and wrap cloth bandages tightly around your body, brow furrowing as you finally stop trying to lurch away from him – though he is unsure if it is because the numbing salve is working or because you have simply given up fighting.
He makes no attempt to turn you onto your back, not wanting to further irritate the wounds. Though you are tightly wrapped in bandages, he worries that in moving you, he would risk tearing at the deep scratches. So, he leaves you on your stomach as he goes to brew an elixir. He knows he cannot give you any of the Witcher potions that he has tucked in his pack for fear it will kill you, so he has no choice but to start from scratch. For the first time in a long while, he is quite thankful for Vesimir’s insistence that you learn human healing potions as well, despite their general uselessness to a Witcher.
Stephic does not interrupt once; not even to check and see how his oh so valued servant is fairing. The Witcher doesn’t find this in the least bit surprising. All noblemen, be them Nilfgaardian, Temerian, Redianian... They’re all the same. They care only for themselves and their profit, no matter what they claim. If you survive this, you will be left with a horrible scar from your shoulder down your back. He supposes that, in Stephic’s eyes, that must diminish the value of his property very much. It is despicable, but it is nothing he has not seen time and time again.
At least, he thinks, that should make this all easier.
Having rushed back to care for you, he has not had the chance to speak to Stephic regarding his reward. As per usual with Barons, he had offered a tidy sum for the contract. And, truth be told, Geralt knows that he could really use the coin. Autumn will give way to winter sooner than later, and work is hard to come by in the winter. But still...
* * *
“You want the girl?” Somehow, Stephic finds the request so ridiculous that he is laughing, more like cackling, really. “I offer you four hundred Crowns to off the wraith and you want to trade it for a maimed wench?”
Geralt has to clench and unclench his fists at his sides to keep from lashing out. Perhaps it is the nonchalant way in which the Baron shakes his head in disbelief that angers him; the way that he cannot possibly imagine that your life is of any value – but he would very much like to punch the pompous asshole in the face.
He holds back for your sake, responding with a curt nod, “That is exactly what I’d like to do.”
Stephic stands for a moment, hand on his chin in thought as he considers the Witcher before him. “Intersting...” he muses.
The Witcher looks at him, eyebrows raised. He can’t help himself.
“Hardly interesting, Your Excellency.” The words drip from his lips like poisoned honey. He will have to play along if he is going to get anywhere with this man. “You know girls like her can fetch a good deal more than four hundred Crowns, if you know how to go about conducting business.” The words disgust him as he says them, but he keeps his expression neutral as ever.
“Not when they’ve gone and gotten themselves shredded apart by a wraith,” Stephac points out. Geralt left you, asleep at last thanks to the specially brewed potion, but Stephic had finally knocked on the door and set his eyes upon the horribly disfigured back of his most special servant-girl. He’d even dared to wrinkle his nose at the sight; another moment Geralt would have liked to kick his teeth in.
“So you want a raise, is that it?” asks Stephic, shaking his head.
Geralt, though, is a step ahead, as always. “Perhaps I do,” he said pointedly, with conviction. “After all that shit, I certainly deserve one.” He crosses his muscled arms over his chest, eyes flickering with satisfaction as the nobleman backs away slightly.
“Well, perhaps this could be a good deal for me,” the Baron says. Of course, in keeping with the tradition of his sort, he covers his apprehension with a false smile and the false air of confidence pretending that the whole thing was all his idea. “It’d get that unruly little brat out of my hands.”
Geralt smirks, putting up a façade of his own. “See, I knew we’d come to an understanding. I take the brat and you keep the coin.” Better to let the Baron think that he was a man with the same warped moral code as himself, than come in playing the part of a foolish White Knight. He continues speaking, even though the words taste sour on his lips, “You save yourself a lot of trouble, and I turn a profit from some... businessman in Novigrad.”
Geralt can see quite plainly that Stephic will accept the offer, he casually traces the sign of Axii in front of him, watching Stephic’s eyes glass over as he speaks again, “It’s a great deal for both of us, isn’t it?”
“Oh, yes, yes,” Stephic nods vacantly, “A profitable deal for both of us.”
“Indeed,” the Witcher says, holding back a smirk. “And perhaps, even a hundred Crowns for my trouble?”
Stephic nods emphatically, still under the influence of the sign, “Of course, Master Witcher.”
Geralt watches as the man clumsily pulls a leather pouch from a pocket in his doublet. It is small, certainly not the entire reward, but Geralt takes it with a thankful smile and conspiratorial nod towards the slimy little bug-eyed noble. He could have easily asked for the whole four hundred crowns, but then the Baron might talk – say he was “hexed” and extorted by the greedy monster-slayer. He didn’t need any more of those rumors floating about.
“Pleasure doing business with you,” Geralt’s lips twitch into a smirk as he takes the purse and steps past the Baron and out of the room.
***
“Drink this, it’ll help with the pain,” Geralt says as he pulls a clear vial from somewhere in his pocket. You eye it suspiciously for a moment, not thrilled with the idea of swallowing the mystery liquid, but ultimately grab the vial and toss the bitter liquid to the back of your throat and swallow before you can gag. The unpleasant burning in your throat is a small price to pay for some relief to the deep ache in your healing back.
You can hardly believe that it’s been nearly two weeks since you and Geralt had lifted the curse holding your mother to the place she’d been murdered and banished the wraith forever. Though, you suppose the fact that you’d only snapped from the seemingly endless fever dream a few days before is a huge contributing factor.
You sit behind Geralt on his mare, Roach. You must admit, you are quite fond of the horse, even if getting on and off the horse was nearly impossible thanks to the pain in your back. Thankfully, the potion works quickly. It settles over you like a warm blanket, numbing the pain in your back and pulling you toward sleep. This is how you’ve spent most of the journey – asleep against Geralt’s back. You wish you could be awake more often to take in the beautiful sights instead of watching them blur by in a half-awake stupor.
“Hm?” Geralt mumbles, turning his head back slightly to look at you. You must have let one too many frustrated sigh escape your lips.
“I just....” you begin sleepily, “I want to see everything.”
Geralt grins, yellow eyes catching yours for a moment and making your breath stop.
“You will,” he promises. He’s already turned back to the path in front of you, but those golden eyes still have you stuck, eyes fixed on the outline of his face as you breathe in the comforting scent of his long hair.
“I will show you this whole Continent, if that is what you wish, Y/N.”
You smile lightly as you let your eyes slip shut, arms wrapped tightly around him, letting the slow and steady sound of his heart beating lull you to sleep. But you swear that his heart is beating ever so slightly more quickly than it usually does.
If you’d been able to see his face, you would have seen a soft smile on his usually stone hard face.
