Commission I did for someone over on my instagram. They wanted their Star Wars oc (in the middle) with the Delta squad. Blake hadn’t noticed that Ilia had gotten closer until she feels Ilia’s whole body tremble against hers. Ilia’s lips part, a hitch of breath lifts her chest, like diver about to take the plunge. “How what feels, Blake?” she asks, not at all unaware of the direction they were taking.

Blake can see it, that acknowledgement in Ilia’s eyes, that patience. I’ll wait for you if you’re not ready. And Blake’s ready, she knows she is - maybe she’s always been. “How it feels…,” Blake starts, a little unsteady because she’s so used to hiding. “To be touched by someone who actually cares about me.”

Hearing it out loud breaks Ilia’s heart even more than Blake’s expression could ever say. “Are you sure?” she asks again, one more time. Just to be sure. She stills herself, holds, and waits for Blake to come to her.

“Show me,” she begs. “Please.”

So this is actually the first @patbbangg / blurrwar commission that I purchased, and while I know I posted a link to the fic (Sun and Sand, I'll Take Your Hand), it's dawned on me that it would have been better to simply do as I had with the second commission and post the photo so as to properly highlight and spread the amazing work that Blurr has done.

So, I'm doing it now. Thank you again, Blurr, for making this December a joy; waiting for these pieces to be done. Your work makes me smile, and I hope that everyone who enjoys both it and this fandom has a good rest of the holidays. <3
