I’m a 1st grade teacher and I have a boy in my class who wears thick bottle-lens glasses with a strap on them and loves to spout off random facts to anyone who will (or won’t) listen about things he watched, learned about, or read about.

The other day he came to my desk and I thought he needed help with his work but he really just wanted to tell me all about the main food source of a stegosaurus and their dietary needs.

Then last week, he was talking with his desk partner about something and I saw him raise his finger and say “actually” and I nearly died!

So basically, I have a mini-Tech in my class this year and I’m loving it!

OMG ALSO! One day his goggles glasses broke on the playground and he came in after recess with them missing a screw. So I sent him to the office (with an escort because he can’t see) so his mom can bring him a new pair and the frenzy that ensued in class from seeing him without his glasses! They were equal parts intrigued/confused/freaked out/blown away at the sight and it was hard to get them back on track after that. One girl said she hoped they could fix his glasses because he can’t really be him without them 🥲

Also I just miss Tech a lot and need him back like now!

With Bad Batch ending in just two days (😭), I’d like to share with you all why Crosshair is (and always will be) my favorite Batcher.

He’s hot (I’ll say it)

He’s obviously traumatized. I feel so seen by his character. (Especially by the fact that everyone completely overlooks him all of the time, except Omega of course)

He’s insanely cool. I’ve always had a thing for snipers and then Star Wars creates a clone who specializes in sniping? I didn’t stand a chance. (Not to mention all of the trick shots he’s made over the show)

His character arc was written insanely well. I’m rewatching the first season currently and just seeing his growth is crazy.

Also… face reveal. Predators pls leave me alone. You won’t like me anyway. I’m really weird.

I have a bittersweet pill to swallow, and unfortunately y’all have to hear about it because internet friendship.

My husband and I are going to paradise for a week on Monday as our last foray as DINKs— and, while I’m exciting to go frolicking in a tropical paradise (I’m Canadian… vitamin D is scarce lol), it’s the type of vacation that bears the potential of no internet connection. Do I really care about not being able to doom scroll Instagram? No. Do I have any interest opening Bragbook and reading a dozen posts wholly irrelevant to me? Not at all lol But I’m devastated… and I mean devastated that I won’t be able to watch the last episode with all of you. My middle of the night Gif adventures came to an end last week… my crack of dawn screeching in the discord days are harrowingly over. I can’t speculate and break down and weep and giggle and flaps my hands around with y’all because I don’t even know if I’ll be able to watch it until I get home which will be several days later. The gifs will all have been made, everything talked about, speculation shared, the ending discussed… and I’m really sad I’m going to miss partaking in the most pivotal moment of this fandom.

Many of you have reassured me already, that you’ll still be around to screm with me when I get back and I hope that’s true with my entire being because this community and this interaction means absolutely everything to me.

So… yeah. I guess I’ll see y’all on the flip side when I get back. Hopefully there’s still some screms echoing around so I can jump in LOL
