Ridonculous Race but Noah is friends with Owen part 6: I'm sorry, even when I don't say it.

This was so clearly supposed to be a turning point in their relationship and the status quo. Why they wrote this episode just to return to said status quo I will never understand. Aaaanyway, in my perfect little world (this series), this is a turning point that gives leeway to Noah trusting and caring more about Owen going forward. He still likes Emma of course, but that doesn't mean Owen is any less important to him, and I'm sure he'll learn to show it :]

Life was pretty up and down for a hot minute. Here’s a snippet from the second one shot in my new Art as Dialogue series:

“Do you need some help?”  The proximity and familiarity of Max’s voice sets the hair on the back of Charles’ neck on end. He twists around, nearly elbowing him in the face. “What are you doing here?” Charles asks. “Nice to see you too.” “I thought you had media in the pen today?” “I do, but these bathrooms are closer than my driver’s room.” Charles doesn’t need reminding that the Red Bull garage is the opposite side of the paddock. “No need to rub it in,” Charles attempts to round off his tone with a chuckle, but it’s forced. Ferrari’s garage being bumped down the order is still a touchy subject. They used to have the luxury of sneaking in between their teams’ motorhomes to steal a quick kiss. Not this season...

Mother and Father OC Master Post

This is in regards to Joshua playing that one final Game with Neku at the end of TWEWY, and in the case were Joshua actually put his existence on the line for that final Game. For a Composer, who is supposed to be monitored by Parents, to fall into such a mental state that they would want to do that, means that the Parents did not do their job of monitoring their children.

Since Joshua survived, they weren't immediately removed from their positions. It's partially on the Composer to decide whether or not to keep either of the Parents. This means that Joshua could choose to keep one of the Parents, but not the other, if he wanted. Parents are not tied together. All that matters is that the two Parents can work together.

For Father, there are a couple of things to note:

He's apologizing specifically for not being a proper "parent".

When Father means "Not again," he's referring to The Incident in this comic. At this point in the story in the timeline Father hasn't told this story to Joshua. But Father was there during The Incident, where he lost someone very important to him who he failed to save.

Father is not a touchy feel-y person in general. He's not known for giving out hugs, so this is an extra level of surprise to Joshua.
