#Anyone Can Be Redeemed and I’ve Decided That I Can Redeem Them Is Such A Mindset
yashley · 2 years
Text
zerxus’ fault not being naive to think “anyone can be redeemed” but the prideful determination of “I can redeem them”. and how that realistic, human distortion mindset of that need of control = declaration of care, just emphasizes how important boundaries are. sometimes it’s not you to take control and take care and it’ll never be you. no matter what. and that choking humility is more painful than forcing yourself to be someone’s savior who does not care for you. zerxus not screaming at asmodeus “Anyone Can Be Redeemed”, but shaking the lord of hell saying “I Have The Power To Redeem You” just snapped my head

Hey I have a request for Lucifer x reader! Where the reader is like a sinner who did wrong things for their love. Like they weren’t a bad person simply in love! And they essentially did it to follow them in hell only for that “love” to betray them. So they decide to redeem themselves at the hotel and meets Lucifer in the process. Thank you for taking time to read this!
Imbalance
Lucifer x Reader
Synopsis: After getting betrayed you meant someone who wasn’t an obsession and was actually pure love
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tears ran down your face as you walked towards a familiar hotel with a backpack and your Beige suitcase. It was raining so people might mistake your tears as Raindrops and thankfully you won’t correct them. You carefully wiped your face just in case and opened the hotel door.
Charlie saw you and instantly got excited. “Hello! Are you here to stay and be redeemed!?” Charlie asked hopefully making more at eased.
“Yea, Uhm I’ve done stuff for love and never actually did stuff for me” You said nervously fiddling with your hoodie strings.
You actually reminded Charlie of her father being depressed because of being betrayed so she welcomes you with open arms.
“That’s okay, let me help you with that” She reassured before taking your suitcase before you could reject her.
“Let me lead you to your room miss-“___” You finished as she nodded excitedly before leading you upstairs to the guess room.
“Is there anyone else doing this?” You asked curiously as you walked beside her.
“Just one person but I guess you can say we force him a bit to do this but other than that it’s just you who seems to want to be redeemed. Demons usually don’t care for these types of things” Charlie said honestly making you nod in agreement.
You yourself are down here because you were just blinded by love. You did anything for your ex like helping him hide a body that he killed or things he asked you’ll immediately do.
“Here we are ____, Call me if you need anything and also breakfast starts at 8:00-9:30” Charlie said as she handed you a key to your room.
“Thank you” You mumbled before entering your room with your suitcase. And all honesty it was bigger than you expected. Plus you got a window to see all of hell.
You sigh before throwing your backpack off your shoulder then flopping on the comfortable bed before falling to sleep accidentally.
A soft knock made you open the door to see Charlie and another girl who looked more intimidating. “Hiii ___ I hope you don’t mind but me and my girlfriend will be escorting you to breakfast” Charlie cheerfully said making you smile at her.
“Of course let me get my sweater” You said before rushing to get your light pink sweater and then closing your door before walking in between the two.
“I’m vaggie by the way” The girl said making you introduce yourself all over again. You weren’t paying attention til you bump into some making you fall to the ground and him only stumble to balance himself.
He turned around and saw you, A beautiful-no A gorgeous woman. “I-I’m so sorry” He said before reaching out to help you up.
“Dad!” Charlie said excitedly, as Lucifer eyes sparkled continued after looking away from you. “Charlie!!!” He said hugging his daughter. You and Vaggie stand there waiting for the father, daughter to be done.
“Oh! ___ this is my dad lucifer and dad this is ___” Charlie introduced making both adults make heart eyes at each other.
“OR you can call me the big boss” Lucifer said jokingly said making you chuckle.
“It’s pleasure to meet the big boss himself” You said sending shivers down his spine and heart racing. He blushes as Vaggie and Charlie stare at the future new couple.
This led to you two being talkive to each other more making you put your trust in him to be able to tell him why you’re in hell.
“I had this Ex who was manipulative but I was really in love to not see it, So whenever he told me to help him hide a body I did it without a doubt and it was more then one time sadly” You said as tears came out your eyes.
He shushed you as he pulled you into him cuddling you. You cried in his shoulder as he rubbed your back making you sleep on his shoulder.
He kissed your forehead before putting you on his lap to get you in a more comfortable position.
A month later:
You woke this time feeling someone under you, His arms around your waist and legs intertwined with yours.
You carefully got up but Lucifer held you down more tightly. “Stay” He mumbled as he put lazy kisses on your neck with his hands slipped under your shirt to rub your back to get you back to sleep. You hummed in agreement feeling sleepy at his touch.
“I love you” You mumbled
“I love you too My Queen” He whispered in your ear.

Hunter is probably going to die this season.
You know I’ve theorized this if you’ve been following me since Season 1. As the season keeps rolling out, the more and more I really do think this will happen.
We know that the ending will be bittersweet, and we know that the emotions behind the ending has a lot to do with fatherhood in particular (according to DBB)
They are putting a huge emphasis on Crosshair and Omega’s relationship. Particularly how he could fill a paternal role for her. Omega mirroring Crosshair is a huge sign to not only us as the audience, but to Hunter as well, that Crosshair can (and will) become a father figure to her. They didn’t have to show us that Hunter noticed Omega mimicking Crosshair. But they did. They’re masterfully crafting that something is going on in Hunter’s head. He’s thinking about Crosshair and Omega’s relationship, and what that could mean.
Crosshair still has a long way to go in regards to his guilt. They could easily have him sacrifice himself at the end to ultimately quell all of his guilt, but I believe that they’re going the route of subverting everyone’s expectations. Crosshair could sacrifice himself for full redemption (like they do with most Star Wars characters) and he probably would given the chance. But story wise, he doesn’t really need to.
If they were planning to go that route, he wouldn’t have been reintroduced to and accepted by the group so early on in the season.
They are actively showing Crosshair paving the way to his redemption. He’s putting in the work. He is protective, helpful, and actively putting himself in danger for the benefit of his family. He’s redeeming himself already. Him dying isn’t necessary to resolve his story. In fact, I think it would diminish the power behind his change. People can make bad decisions. They can hurt others. They can change. And they can live to see happier days. That is hope. And that is always the overarching theme of Star Wars.
Hunter, on the other hand, has been incredibly uncertain and indecisive throughout the entire show. Where Crosshair knows and acts on his decisions, whether good or bad, Hunter has been unsure of himself and his role in everything. His path is way less cut and dry. It almost feels like, in many ways, he has lost his leadership. And he feels it. He regrets his decisions. He probably blames himself for everything bad that has happened. He clearly doesn’t fully trust himself to keep his family safe.
How can his story be resolved, short of him simply finally deciding to take a stand and fight for the other clones?
By giving up his life for his family, for a cause he never wanted to be a part of, as a leader should. So they can go on and live the life he so desperately wants for them.
I don’t think at this point in the story Hunter would allow anyone else to sacrifice themselves. He would stop it from happening. He’s learned from his mistakes.
My theory is that we will see more and more instances of Hunter recognizing Omega’s growing relationships with others, especially Crosshair. And when the time finally comes, he’ll be able to let go of needing to be her primary protector. He’ll see the growth in her, and in his brothers, and finally trust that they’ll be okay. Whether he sacrifices himself or gets mortally injured in a fight/accident, he will be at peace.
I don’t know if his death will be ambiguous or unseen, like him dying in an explosion or something like that, or if it will be more obvious.
I could see him having a Fives-esque death. Where he can say goodbye to his family, and finally pass off the responsibility he held so close to his heart to Crosshair and his brothers.
And if Tech really is dead, he won’t have to be alone anymore.
They’d put Hunter’s helmet above his grave, the last real symbol of the Bad Batch, and a last goodbye to the Clone Wars (since his helmet resembles the regs’ helmets the most)
They’d leave Tech’s goggles on his grave (if Tech stays dead) along with Lula. Omega would leave a bouquet of flowers from Pabu. What a powerful image that would be.
Omega could then go on to lead her own little batch. She’s made the friends and connections to do so. Crosshair and the others wouldn’t be too far behind.
It would be a touching resolution to Hunter’s and Crosshair’s and Omega’s arcs.
Other clues I think they’re dropping that support this theory:
-Omega’s new hair design. It’s perfect for her to wear Hunter’s bandana.
-Batcher joining the squad. She fills the tracking role.
-Crosshair’s increased screen time with Omega.
-Hunter’s increased desire to do whatever it takes to keep Omega safe, and the hints that he becomes reckless upon doing so.
-The Marauder exploding. Something about losing the home and the head of the home making for great storytelling.
-The idea of passing the torch of leadership to the next generation. From Clone Wars (TBB) to the new SW content (Omega)
-The fact that Jen Corbett said Hunter is her favorite character, and I’ve never known a female writer who doesn’t whump the hell out of their favorites the most (fr one of the most compelling arguments lol)

Hell is forever | Lute x F!Reader
Tumblr media
i’ve become obsessed w Hazbin Hotel recently and well where’s better to write than Tumblr!
I also love x readers and Lute so this is a fun time xx
i also haven’t written in a WHILE so this is not my best work but i promise im better xx
————
CW: swearing, sexual comments
Lute was an interesting person, she wasn’t typically the type of person you’d get in with. But since meeting her & Adam, you are sure that your life has improved… to an extent.
——
“Hey, Y/N! Don’t you think Lute would so much better with less on?” Adam teases as you walk into his office “Adam, you are going to be the first man with no dick if you don’t shut up.” Y/N deadpans, plopping down beside Lute on the couch
“You’re no fun, Y/N” Adam complains, throwing his head back with a groan “I just know that if I agree with you, Lute is very much able to fuck me up.”
You know of the exterminations, and you know Lutes body count. Being on her bad side is not something you wanted.
“Please, Lute’s too busy st-“ Adam is cut off with a yelp as Lute throws something at him “Shut up, Adam.” She hisses, glaring daggers at him “Fine fine” He mutters, flipping her off as you look between them in confusion
“So what happened in Hell?” You decide to ask, knowing the extermination had happened just a week prior. “Well we had a talk with Lucifers bitch daughter today.” Adam begins in a rant about how “Charles” decided to talk about how she wants the exterminations gone and some bullshit hotel
“She seriously thinks sinners can be redeemed?” Y/N questions, leaning forward “What does Sera think about this?” Adam scoffs, rolling his eyes
“she doesn’t know, it’s not like it’s going to cause problems anyways.”
——
Adam was wrong. It was definitely going to cause problems, but that wasn’t her issue. So, she continued on with her day while waiting for the time to come when she’d meet Lute for lunch.
“Sorry!” A voice exclaims as Y/N feels someone crash into her “Fuck!” She yelps out, quickly spinning around to be met with two demons and Emily, the seraphim of joy.
The h/c girl quickly straightens up “Seraphim Emily! What… are you doing here?” She splutters out, glancing nervously at the demons “Oh hush, Y/N. You know you can call me Em when Sera isn’t around” Emily informs the girl with a happy smile.
“Right well.. Em, what is.. going on?” She questions the seraphim, still glancing between the demons “Right! This is Charlie and Vaggie! They’re representatives from Hell!” The girl cheerfully explains
Y/N’s eyes widen “Holy crap! You’re the princess aren’t you?” She asks Charlie, whose face flushes “Yep, that’s me..!” She says awkwardly before taking Vaggies hand in hers “This is my girlfriend, Vaggie” She introduces with a soft smile
Y/N grins “I knew gay people went to he-“ She’s cut off by Emily wacking her lightly “I’m kidding! That’s sick, congrats” She says softly, fluttering her wings
“So, you here about this.. hotel thing?” Y/N questions, crossing her arms together “How do you know about that?” Emily quizzes the girl who pauses for a second “Uh, Lute told me!” She quickly states, rubbing her arm
Emily’s eyes widen “please tell me you two are-“ Before Emily can continue, Y/N spots Lute approaching the four “Respectfully, your majesty please stop” Y/N hisses out as Lute reaches them
“Y/N, where have you been?” Lute asks the girl, anger clear in her voice “Sorry, I ran into these lovely girls and you know how I feel about ditching people” Y/N states innocently, smirking at the anger in Lutes eyes “And you know how I feel about waiting, finish up here and meet me in my office.” Is all the taller girl says before departing
“She seems.. nice.” Charlie says after a few moments of silence “Oh she is, I just don’t think she likes demons” Y/N comments, she knew Emily was unaware of the exterminations and she was not about to admit that she knew to anyone.
“I’m not sure why, you two are lovely” Emily pouts, causing Charlie and Vaggie to give her light smiles “But uh, I better go.. Lute will be a pain if I keep her waiting much longer” She says, excusing herself as she bids farewell to the trio and makes her way to Lute’s office
“Hey..” Y/N says awkwardly, walking into the unlit office before being slammed against the now shut door “I can’t believe you!” Lute exclaims, glaring down at Y/N
“What did I do?” The girl yelps out, feeling the pain rush to her wings “You’re talking with Vaggie! Of all people!” Suddenly everything made sense.
Lute was always fighting for Adam’s favouritism with Vaggie. She was better than Vaggie in every way, but until Vaggies betrayal Adam couldn’t see it.
Since then, the girl had some serious issues with abandonment.
“Oh cmon Lute! You know I don’t care about that failure” Y/N tries to reassure as she feels Lutes heavy breathing hit her face “I only care about you, I promise” Y/N says softly as she notices Lutes eyes soften
“Sorry.” Lute mutters, still holding Y/N against the door “I know a way you can make it up to me” Y/N mumbles, looking down at Lutes lips before glancing back up at her eyes which were wide in surprise before slowly leaning down and capturing the angels lips.
Y/N quickly reciprocates the kiss, wrapping her arms around Lutes neck and pulling her closer, desperate to have the girl closer to her.
But before anymore could be done, Adam suddenly barges in knocking the two away from each other
“The trials starting, come on.”

Santa Baby 🎄🎁
[ModernAu!Aemond Targaryen x Spoiled Sugar Baby Reader ]
[Summary: He’s come to find out how nice or naughty you’ve been. ]
[Content/Warning: 18+, Slight bondage, spanking, roleplaying, head giving, overstimulation, hair pulling, p in v penetration, fingering, pussy slapping and brat-taming. ]
Tumblr media
Twas’ the night before Christmas and not a soul was stirring within this residential home. Y/N was fast asleep when the faint tip toes of someone in her living room woke her up. She wasn’t expecting anyone in fact she was rather upset that she hadn’t seen Aemond or heard from him at all today and she made it quite clear with the many vulgar texts messages and voicemails she left for him. She sat up in her bed and silently went to see who could’ve possibly been in her house. And there he was…Santa? Hunched over putting presents under the tree her and Aemond put up together. She tripped over own feet alerting the intruder that the jig was up and he turned to look at her and immediately she knew who it was but it seemed he wished to play a little game. A deep voice bellowed from his chest. “What are you doing up, baby girl? Shouldn’t you be asleep?” She was a bit nervous knowing he would probably be punishing her for the way she spoke to him earlier today. “You woke me up, Santa.” He approached her quickly staring down into her eyes she was barely wearing anything and that excited him but he had to stay in character. “I was contemplating even coming to your house little one. You see you’ve been very naughty the past couple of days. But I decided maybe you could redeem yourself before midnight and Santa will give you everything you want, yes.” She nodded hesitantly knowing he had plenty in store for her tonight.
“Good girl.” The sound of the word rumbled deep within his stomach and it made her pussy twitch and pool into her panties with anticipation. He circled around her pulled a crimson ribbon from his pocket and tightly wrapping it around her wrists behind her back. In that moment she knew just how much trouble she was in bondage was something he only used when he needed to keep her just where he wanted her. “Wait Santa, I’ve been a good girl I promise.” She pleaded with him and he chuckled not even fully acknowledging her pleas. “Tsk, tsk…now we’re lying…this is going to be a long night I see.” He sat down in a chair within the corner and pulled her into his lap. He swatted her inner thighs demanding her to open them wide. She spread them across each arm rest and he smiled at her compliance. “Such a good girl…” she shivered from his breath hitting the nape of her neck. He was wearing dark brown leather gloves and he slowly pushed her panties to the side exposing that beautiful mound between her legs. He noticed the cream that settled in the crotch of her panties and groaned lowly. “You were waiting for Santa weren’t you baby?” She cooed and nodded “Mhmm.” She answered quietly as two fingers circled around her swollen clit before he smacked her pussy causing her to whimper. “So I’ll ask you again. Have you been nice or naughty, baby?” He rubbed her clit again before laying another smack against her puffy clit. “I’ve been naughty, Santa.” He praised her softly and slowly dipped one of his fingers into her cunt letting his free hand pinch her nipples. “Good girl….now how are we going to fix that, Y/N? Do you think you can show me just how good you’ll be for me?” She writhed in his lap feeling his cock pressing against her ass while he fingered her cunt. “Yes…” He swatted her cunt one last time before pushing another finger inside her. He curled his fingers against her sweet spot and tortured her until she released uncontrollably all over his lap. He smiled at how she soaked his pants. He continued to toy with her pussy while he pulled his cock out she felt the warmth from it as it pressed against her back. Placing her on her knees he slapped her face with his cock a few times. “Open up.” She obliged and did as he said while he slowly pushed his cock into her wet mouth. He groaned leaning his head back as she began bobbing her head slowly. Taking him almost down her throat. He let his hand rest on the back of her hair and soon he was bucking his hips up while those big brown eyes gazed up at him. He had to lean back and escape those eyes or he would’ve spilled his seed right then and there. He fucked her throat for a while pulling away to let her breathe every now and then while he laid hard smacks against her bare ass. He smiled at his red her bottom looked and he soothed the stinging pain with his large hand kneeding her ass like dough. “That’s a good girl…I think at this rate you’re back on the nice list..but we have to finish what we started.”
He laid her down on back and untie her wrists by this time his white beard and mustache were turnt damn near side ways and it caused Y/N to laugh he chuckled trying to get back into character but at this point who cared. “Fuck this I’m hot baby girl..but don’t you ever talk to me like that again understand?” He leaned forward looking into her eyes before his lips crashed into hers and he lined his cock up to her sticky entrance. He slowly began to fill her up that familiar warmth wrapped itself around him and he sighed in relief. He started to pump slowly he didn’t want to get too excited. He held himself pressing her knees to her chest and soon they were in a mating press. His balls smacking against her ass with each thrust her moans filling the living room along with his growling and moaning. He trembled feeling her walls clenching around him pulsating and throbbing. He couldn’t hold it much longer and soon he spilled inside of her not giving a damn about the consequences. She held onto him her nails already had left evidence behind on his back. They both huffed in the ambiance of sex as he laid on top of her still pumping slowly. “You know it still isn’t midnight..let’s go again.”

This is something that I’ve posted on my thing before just not as a fic just an idea-
What if Adam get reincarnated in hell after the big fight, but the reader (who was already staying at the hotel) decides to take him there but everyone else is just like “hell tf no”
Oooo-! I saw this and I just had to do it,it looks too good not to write
(sorry for the delay I'm working on so many other requests atm 😭 also Adams color is blue as there's no yellow. Angeldust is pink, Vaggie is purple, husk is orange and you're white)
NOT PROOF READ
Redemption
You've been at the hotel since 2 months before the exterminaton you heard Vaggie and Angel scream in unison
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"
You were in your room but you went down the stairs carefully trying to be as quiet as you can your steps not making much of a noise then you went behind a painicking Charlie unable to see past her
"What's going on?"
"well the first bastard is here for redemption"
Husk said mumbling as he was cleaning a bottle as charlie stepped away and you could see ADAM?! THE FIRST MAN?!
"Get the fuck out of here before I kill you!"
Vaggie exclaimed at Adam
"Wouldn't it be best if we let him stay I mean this is all about redeeming sinners.? If we can redeem him then we can redeem anyone"
"Yea- wait what the fuck are you trying to say bitch? I'm literally the first fucking man"
"whatever"
Vaggie said with a sigh
You helped Adam around to try to get him redeemed it was fun having him around and you enjoyed his company but then they attacked.
The Angels were back no warning nothing. Everyone was fighting you were scared as you got cornered by lute
"Back off dangertits."
Adam said as he went Infront of you grabbing ur hair making sure you were with him as Adam and Lute started arguing
"Y/N WATCH OUT!"
Angeldust shouted out while fighting 5 exorcist by Huskers side. You couldn't hear him due to Adam and Lute arguing.
You felt a sharp pain in ur heart.
"Bitch stay with me.! Don't you fucking die on me! I won't allow you to! I'm the first fucking man I demand you stay alive!"
Adam said tears falling down his eyes and his voice breaking up you opened your eyes seeing we won and we defeated Lilith,Lute and the other exorcists.. you smiled
"I love you Adam."
Your last words as your soul ascended to heaven.
"THE PRINCESS OF HELL IS COMING HERE??"
You said with such glee to Emily as the princess of hell, her girlfriend and the first man came
It was odd when the first man saw u wave to greet them he started tearing up and you felt you got pushed back as you were pulled into a hug.
"I missed you so much bitch"
"do I know you?"

Dumb late night Hazbin ideas:
Ok, so hear me out. What if, Alastor gets a redemption arc? But it happens so slowly and unnoticed that by the end of the series you just turn around and find out that he’s already been redeemed and no one has any clue how it happened.
Alternatively, AU where the hotel’s very presence forces redemption on everyone who stays there whether they want to or not and one day Alastor wakes up and wonders if he should let Vox broadcast his shows uninterrupted that day before promptly glitching out in absolute horror at the thought. And then absolutely going out of his way to decimate one of Vox’s broadcasts just to prove to himself that he’s still just as much of an evil bastard as he always is.
Cue multiple scenarios where Alastor is trying really fucking hard to be eeeeevil and then somehow utterly failing. Watching as he’s slowly forced into being a good person against his will, and knowing there’s nothing he can do to stop it. Oh he’s still just as petty and sassy and sinister as ever, but whatever edge he had ends up lost in the thought of perhaps he should do something special for Charlie and the other residents for their first month of the hotel opening and—GODS BE DAMNED!
No one else notices it, partly because he’s always toned down the Clearly Scheming Aura when he’s around them, but also because he’ll be damned if anyone of them catches on. Husk sees through his bullshit, but ends up with the wrong conclusion and Alastor is happy to let him think whatever about leashes and deals as long as he keeps his mouth shut, buuuuut maybe he’d been a bit too harsh on the barkeep. He should make up for it with some higher quality booze and— really, it’d be nice to have something that’s more to his taste than the stuff that’s usually kept around.
Of course, Alastor’s not the only demon being forced into becoming a good person, he’s just the only one who’s noticed it. Charlie, who is 99% of the time a good person, is absolutely convinced that the better than usual behavior of the residents is a result of her efforts in the hotel. Vaggie’s also already a decent person for the most part, and after that conversation with Husk, Angel’s improved by leaps and bounds. Nifty doesn’t notice anything’s off at all, and Husk just thinks his better mood and temperament in general is because the quality of his liquor’s gone up and the company really ain’t all that bad. Sir Pentious also hasn’t noticed anything, but agrees with Charlie that her efforts have been working.
And then the hotel gets attacked and Alastor discovers this wonderful loophole in whatever spell’s got him entrapped and absolutely decimates the attackers. He’s so gleeful about his discovery and the absolute beat down he gave out without feeling the need to pull his punches that he ends up cooking everyone dinner. Everyone else is understandably very weirded out by this. Alastor couldn’t care less.
Charlie: uh, Alastor? Are you feeling alright there?
Alastor: why Charlie, I’m doing absolutely wonderful! Thank you for asking.
Charlie: oh, that’s uh, that’s great to hear!
Charlie: …
Charlie: so do you mind telling me why you’ve decided to make dinner…?
Alastor: mmmm. Just in the mood for it, I suppose. It’s been a while since I’ve cooked for others, and I’m feeling rather— creative right now!
Alastor: tell me, should I include a portion of today’s unlucky patron into the stew? It’s a bit stringy, but the stew should soften it right up!
Charlie: oh uhm. How about we don’t include any demon parts into the food?
Alastor: *raises eyebrow*
Charlie: I mean, we don’t know where it’s been! He could have had all sorts of diseases inside him. It’d uh, ruin the food if we added…. Bad meat? *nervous smile*
Alastor: mmmmm, fair enough.

Brain rotting in concepts rn cause i wanted to continue “Committed to the bit-“ and in the process i thought of such a fun concept that i just had to share-
Briefly in the “mandatory Dungeon’s and Dragons” oneshot (which btw- such a good fic one of my fav’s after going through like ur whole blog lol) You brought up TF 141 in paintball. And i’ve just had such a fun idea.
Consdier: Reader who is corralled into going to paintball with their shitty friends, who are only really going with the intent of ganaging up on reader. They go in an uneven number tho- (cause they were all gonna be on one team and have reader by themselves-) When the workers there are like- “Oh well- there is another group here.” Dunno why the 141 would be there, maybe another situation like the DnD one-shot where they’re being forced. And so, poor sweet reader who clearly was expecting this to be a liebe experience, gets to have the joy of 141 seeing them and deciding “yeah, you’re pretty and your friends are assholes- you need more ppl for a proper team? Cool, we’ll be on yours.”
Just image the pure shenanigans of it all, reader getting some well earned revenge and the whole debacle ends up them them losing their friends- but gaining (1)4(1) more <3
I kid you not I have had 'Airsoft AU - you keep beating military men at airsoft and they are going to lose it' sitting in my phone notes since September :') Just one of those concepts that I love to think about but cannot write.
I prefer having the reader be their bitter rival because wtf why is this civilian rocking out shit? This is so humiliating oh my God Kate WHY DID YOU TELL FARAH WE LOST TO A CIVVIE TEAM STOP IT WE ARE NEVER LIVING THIS DOWN :( Only way of redeeming themselves is obviously to ruin your winning streak in any way they can.
It would be really fun to then have your take on it follow that, when they already view you as their arch-nemesis they show up on a surprise visit thinking if they can take you off guard with a game they might have an advantage (that's just psychological warfare bby, totally legit, it is not CHEATING Farah shut up). And you are sad? And getting ganged up on by the people you have been carrying any time you are played against them? Like you are the one that is beating them really, the team has always just been benefitting from taking orders from you.
Absolutely not? Are they fuck going to let anyone beat you that isn't them. So even though you are so embarrassed at first when you see them because your most fun games have been against these guys and the banter is always so good and oh my God they're about to find out that you are tragically uncool, they immediately are joking around with you and offering to take you on their team.
"Aye, come tae our team and we'll show ye how the professionals dae it." "Wild thing to say when you've never beaten me but sure thing Suds." "My real name is John. Johnny if it's you. It's nice tae actually meet ye bonnie."

Failing to push him away - Cyno
Gender neutral reader, second part of this. Does still mention the same topics as the first part, but by the title I’m sure you can tell this doesn’t work with Cyno.
--
You opted not to work anywhere, simply living as a hermit. You had pushed enough people away that you convinced yourself that nobody would come looking for you, and you were no longer going to be a burden on the people who you cherished. You survived off the food in the wilderness, courtesy of the courses Tighnari gifted you back when you weren’t struggling with your mental health as much.
But your activity was deemed suspicious by the General Mahamatra. Truth be told, Cyno was beginning to sense that there was meaning behind the lies you told. Many people, even before Tighnari, didn’t want to be around you given your reputation of making up lies that you calculated to eventually backfire. Cyno had plenty of experience when it comes to people lying, and he hadn’t found anything to pin you to a crime.
So, he starts to conveniently come across you during a walk, inviting you to a game. You reluctantly agree, knowing Cyno likely was bored and needed something to do. After the game, he left, and you thought that would be the last time you saw him.
However, you were proven wrong. Cyno showed up quite often, always inviting you to a game. Over time, you started to indulge in conversation, listening to his jokes and reacting to them as appropriate. You knew it wouldn’t be long until your mental health took a dip again, the loneliness not helping, so you wanted to enjoy your limited time with Cyno.
Since nobody else walked along to talk to you, you decide to lie directly to Cyno about hating him. You figured he would just nod and walk away, no pushback, and leave you as he rants to Tighnari about how horrible of a person you were.
Yet, Cyno knew much better than you did. He figured out why you lied to people after Tighnari spoke about how you lied about him. It was clear to him that you were trying to make a poor image of yourself, and from your first interaction it was obvious to Cyno your self esteem was rather low.
“Do you wonder why you can’t get anyone else to play another stupid game with you?” You spit out, Cyno not flinching nor showing any reaction to your comment. “You’re boring, that’s why.” You try to jab at Cyno, Cyno not reacting at all. “Are you listening to me, or are you zoning out to not hear the truth?”
“No. I am ‘zoning out’ because I know you’re lying to me.” Cyno calmly explains, your form sitting upright as you try to rack your brain for ideas. “Isn’t it lonely to push people away with lies that tarnish your reputation?”
“Isn’t it lonely to...to...” you trail off, trying to think of something horrible to say to push Cyno away. “To be...”
“Stop.” Cyno continues to talk. “You’re normally lovely to be around. I know your mental health contributes strongly to your negative actions. You need help, and I want to help you.”
“Why? I’m an anchor on everyone I’ve ever interacted with.” You croak out, tears starting to fall. “You have more important things to do as the General Mahamatra.”
“I hardly think saving you from yourself is not worth my time.” Cyno refutes.
“Well, I can’t take back any of my lies. It’s not like any of the people I care for will give me a chance to redeem myself.” You explain quietly.
“If you trust me, I’m sure I can explain the situation to Tighnari.” Cyno offers.
“There’s no way he’ll understand it.” You refute, Cyno shaking his head lightly.
“Tighnari is open minded. I’m sure with the evidence from articles I discovered over the years, he will come to the same conclusion I have.” Cyno states. “Now, let me take you to a doctor. They can discuss treatment plans with you.”

Loyalty Part 7 Zuko route
Masterlist
Pairing: Zuko X Male!Reader
Words:873
Tumblr media
Staring blankly into the ocean the scene replayed in your head, seeing Zuko standing there with an assassin.
“The Avatar is alive. I want you to find him, and end him.” ‘How did he survive, you saw Azula shoot him with lighting’ You felt lost as you looked at the ocean, should you have joined him? Looking back at Zuko, you felt even more lost. He ignored you and everything that happened between you. You felt like he was purposely getting on your nerves by spending more time with Mai.The firelord was having some sort of huge meeting and sent everyone away, including Zuko which meant you had to follow.
“Y/N are you alright? Your aura is all gloomy” Ty lee sat down next to you on one of the wooden crates.
“I’d be surprised if it wasn’t”You grumbled avoiding her eyes and surprisingly she didn’t poke any further. You soon arrived at ember island and everyone decided to go down to the beach. somehow you only felt worse with each second. You were torn from your thoughts when you heard Azula call them to play some volleyball. The game was over in a couple minutes, they were talking when someone walked up to them and invited them to a party. Before he left he quickly said
“And make sure to bring your hot friend too”He said, gesturing to you,you saw Zuko glare at him which you saw out of the corner of your eye.
***
While everyone was walking to the party you slipped away from them. The beach was surprisingly empty, you sat down near the water. Your mind was racing over what to do,should you talk to Zuko or follow his lead and ignore everything that happened? Or maybe you should’ve just made a different decision, perhaps it wasn’t too late to make the right one. You were thinking about how to find them and convince them to let you join, when you heard someone walking towards you. Quickly you turned round only to be face to face with Zuko.
“Hey we need to talk” You scoffed
“So now you wanna talk”You started walking away when he grabbed your arm, pulling you back.
“Y/N”
“No,I'm sick of this. Of you just pretending like nothing ever happened, you clearly know how I feel.”He looked down as you raised your free hand to his face, softly touching his cheek, your fingertips over his scar. “And i know we can’t be like that anymore,I understand why you wanted to stop whatever there was between us,but you could’ve just talked to me”
“I’ve never been good at talking to anyone, especially someone I care about.”He let go of your arm and walked past you, sitting down near the water. “I wish we could go back”You sat down next to him.
“Me too”You both leaned in pressing your lips together, this kiss was unlike every other one that you had, this one was so gentle. It was the same as your first one. Your hands moved to cup his face as he pulled you closer. But pulled away when you heard someone approaching.
“What-”You interrupted him before he could ask
“Someone’s coming”Seconds later Azula,Mai and Ty Lee walked up to you.
***
It was the day the invasion was planned, but it was the day you planned to leave. You stayed in the palace, knowing that they’d come here and you could guide them to the firelord. But the only one that showed up was the Avatar.
“There’s no one here,he’s hiding and i can tell you where to find him.”He looked confused
“Why would you do that?”He asked.
“Because i want something in exchange, I want a chance to redeem myself”
“You wanna join us?”
“Yes,I should've done that back in Ba sing se. I was too conflicted, but now I know what I have to do”You explained.
“Let’s go” You quickly explained everything to him and made your way to the volcano. You reached the rest of the group, who quickly questioned you.
“What’s he doing here?” Sokka asked
“He’s helping us”Aang said before you could
“Listen i know the mistakes i made and i wanna make things right,I’ll take you to the firelord”
“How do you know he’s not leading us into a trap?” Sokka questioned
“He’s not,”Suddenly Toph said, “I can feel it.” You lead them to the volcano and down the halls. Until the door burst open,Azula standing behind it
“I should’ve known you’d do something like this”She kicked you, your back hitting the wall. A fight immediately broke out,but you knew Azula too well she wasn’t fighting back.
“Guys stop! It’s a trick she’s just distracting you until she gets her bending back”
But it was already too late and you had to retreat. The rest of the invasion was all hurrying to retreat.
“You need to go,we can handle this”The one you assumed was the leader spoke,a few others got on Appa and you flew away.
“I know a place where we’ll be safe, the western air temple”

✨ATTENTION ALL BITCHES✨
hey y’all, I just wanted to say that I might stop doing this AU and change the whole thing completely. I can’t draw Mugman, Cuphead, Chai, King Dice, and Devil, so I’m don’t know if I should stop this AU and just replace it with my Friend’s OC’s starting a hotel with Seeker (based off Hazbin Hotel but not redeeming people and just… causing chaos-)…. if you are wondering, yes. Seeker is gonna be a stripper in the AU if I replace it.
I don’t know how to decide, but I feel like I’m not going to learn how to draw any of the characters without Tracing and trust me, I’ve learned my lesson with tracing. So I’m going to let y’all decide! I’m also going to talk about the AU I might replace this one with because I feel like what I said wasn’t enough info.
(EDIT: Ima just take ya’ll word for it and ima just start updating the blog.)
INFO: The new AU will be called ‘Chaos Hotel’, It’ll have
Seeker: My OC
Cremini: My friend’s oc
Thing: My Boyfriend’s OC
Trilynn: My Other Friend’s Oc
Owl: My OC
Blackout: My friend’s Oc
Puppeteer: My OC
and much more if I can remember!
The AU will start with the backstory of Seeker and Thing, then how Seeker met Cremini, and how Cremini and Thing forced Seeker into school and that’s how she met Trilynn, Owl, Puppeteer and Blackout. Everyone ended up graduating and they all started looking for a job. Fast forward to the year 2016 when something stupid happened and everyone was forced into the same apartment, they then started getting along once again and Seeker told everyone there that Her and Cremini were dating and everyone.. wasn’t surprised since seeker is a straight up bitch who has dated 18 people now and including a chicken… And then Seeker and Thing had an idea about making a hotel and everyone ended up agreeing or wanting to try it out, so 7 years later when it was finally built, all of them took on roles such as
Seeker: Manager/Stripper
Thing: Assistent Manager/Therapist
Cremini: Security
Trilynn: Chef
Owl: Worker
Puppeteer: Security
Blackout: Worker
And anyone else who I remember if gonna be a worker unless if my friends ask for a different role-
So yeah! That’s what the AU is gonna be about.
here’s where you can vote now!
PLEASE ACTUALLY VOTE THO-

I feel like Reva’s redemption in Obi-Wan Kenobi, already great in its own right, really shone a light on why Kylo Ren’s redemption in the Sequel Trilogy didn’t work for me.
Now granted, it was always going to be an uphill battle for me to find a Kylo Redemption narratively satisfying.  I’ve made no secret about the fact that I didn’t really think a redemption was feasible after the events of the first and second movie.
But I’m not an immovable object.  I’ve seen good writers pull off plot twists that on paper I’d never have liked.  And sometimes, even a redemption arc can work for me.
But let’s be honest here.  Kylo Ren did not have a redemption arc in Rise of Skywalker.  He was perfectly happy to keep terrorizing Rey with the force up to and until his super-magical mommy died for him.  And...no.  Sorry.  That really doesn’t work.
Redemption, narratively speaking, doesn’t need to be complicated.  Especially in Star Wars.  It generally happens in one moment of choice: Darth Vader saving his son, Din Djarin going back for Grogu, and especially, Reva deciding not to kill Luke Skywalker.
Reva isn’t more redeemable than Kylo Ren because her backstory is more sympathetic (even though it is),  She’s more redeemable because she made a choice.
Kylo Ren had many many opportunities for choices, and for the most part, he chose the most evil option each time.  He didn’t have to murder Lor San Tekka, but he did.  He didn’t have to kill Han Solo, but he did.  He didn’t have to torture Poe or Rey, maim Finn, defend the Starkiller, order the massacre on Jakku and so forth, but he did.  He didn’t have to hunt the Resistance to Crayt and try to massacre them to a man.  But he did.  And so on and so forth.
I think there was one time he chose not to shoot at his mom while she was floating in space.  Which, okay, maybe a fraction of a point for that.  But he doubled down afterward, so no.
The thing was though, no one made the choice FOR Reva.  Obi-Wan didn’t do some magical mumbo jumbo.  Luke didn’t talk her down.  Owen and Beru didn’t have her at gunpoint.  She just stopped.  It was a decision anyone could make at that moment, and she made it.  She stopped.
Kylo’s redemption didn’t work for me because it’s built into the privilege he’s had all along.  There was a constant assumption both within the movie (From Lor San Tekka, from Han Solo, from Rey - trying to repeat Luke’s triumph) and from fans that Kylo would follow in his grandfather’s footsteps.  Of COURSE, Kylo will redeem himself, it’s Star Wars.
It’s a guarantee because Kylo Ren is space royalty, because of Anakin.  Redemption is treated like an inheritance.  And in the end, Kylo gets his inheritance, not through his own choice, but through Leia’s actions.  And well, not every villain has a super powered mommy magically push them into being a better person.
Reva’s not space royalty.  She’s just a woman who had been a traumatized child, who survived through holding onto her fear, rage, and hatred.  And then, as she stares down at an innocent person, having finally found the one way she could make her enemy suffer...she stops.  She looks at who she’s become and she decides to become someone else instead.  It’s much more satisfying.
There are folks who say the best kind of redemption arcs are the ones where you can follow the person afterward and watch them become a better person.  I think that’s true...sometimes.  I have no interest in Prince Kylo magnanimously sharing the bounty of his mother’s sacrifice.  (And thankfully, I don’t have to.  His redemption, and grateful reward, are much more palatable since he dies.)
Reva though?  I’d happily watch Reva do whatever she wants to do next.  Maybe she and Haja can team up and smuggle people out of Imperial hands.  Maybe she’ll pull a Mara Jade, and go out on her own...learn about who she is outside of Imperial control.  (I still think that’d be the best way to bring Mara into the Disney franchise.)  The possibilities are endless.

I’ve spent the past couple weeks enmeshed in Merlin ALLLLLLLL over again, but rather than simply reading fic/looking at art, I went back to source material and watched half the tv show which was a) an excellent decision, everyone’s fucking gorg, b) an excellent decision, the show’s actually so good, c) a HORRIBLE decision, because now I have opinions on what the show should have been.
So! Without further ado: Enjoy Dia’s Merlin Plotline (For Five Seasons).
Season One: Pretty much the same as canon. Merlin learns about Nimueh, who is the primary antagonist, and we get to know all the characters we know and love. The season ends with Merlin returning from defeating Nimueh, entirely certain that he cannot/must not ever reveal his magic to anyone in Camelot.
Season Two: ALSO pretty much the same. But this time, when Merlin and Arthur go to the crystal cave, Arthur learns about Merlin’s magic- and Morgana’s. Shaken and distrusting, Arthur returns to Camelot to confront his father, but before he can, Morgause attacks. Arthur goes with Merlin to Kilgarrah’s cave and offers to ease his sentence if he tells them how to defeat the undead. Kilgarrah refuses, furious that Merlin dared to bring a Pendragon to him, but tells them that the only way for Arthur to survive is to kill his own kin. Arthur goes to Gaius to ask for help, where Gaius tells him that Morgana is his sister. Arthur refuses to kill her and Merlin defends him, but Gaius drugs them both and then poisons Morgana. In the aftermath, Morgause and her army disappear with Morgana, Uther is severely weakened by Morgana’s departure and starts passing many of his duties onto Arthur’s shoulders, and Arthur tells Gaius that his position is forfeit in the royal household. Because Merlin supported Arthur’s decision not to kill Morgana- and was drugged himself by Gaius- they build a tentative accord between each other, and he remains as Arthur’s manservant.
Season Three: Arthur and Merlin have reached a shaky balance with respect to Merlin’s magic, though there are still hiccups. They keep searching for Morgana, though without much hope; Gaius is training a few apprentices to be his successors. Arthur is, functionally, regent, and courting Gwen. The first half of the season is Arthur and Merlin settling into their new roles, with Arthur learning more about magic and Merlin supporting Arthur in his expanded duties. About halfway through the season, Morgana returns to Camelot, and her miraculous survival seems to rejuvenate Uther, who takes back many of his responsibilities. Arthur and Merlin still believe Morgana can be redeemed, but their methods of doing so are not immediately effective. Arthur clashes repeatedly with his father, unwilling to be as passive as in the past. This culminates in Arthur deciding his father’s imprisonment of Kilgarrah is unjust, and trying to identify the last surviving dragonlord to keep Camelot safe even after Kilgarrah is freed; Merlin later tells him that it’s his father, and they set out to find him. When they return from their quest, they learn that Morgause has attacked again, aided surreptitiously by Morgana, and the only way to beat back this army of the dead is through dragonfire. Merlin releases Kilgarrah and Morgause is defeated. But Kilgarrah then turns on Camelot and brings down half the castle, trying to reach Uther; Merlin, in full view of the court, commands him to stop. Uther demands Merlin be burned alive for sorcery. Arthur refuses, citing Merlin’s choice to protect Camelot rather than let the dragon destroy it, but Uther refuses to heed him. Arthur, Merlin, and Gwen flee from Camelot that very night.
Season Four: On their way out of Camelot, Arthur, Merlin, and Gwen are chased down by a furious Morgana, who insists on joining them. The four of them spend the season living, alternately, as vagabonds, mercenaries, and hedge knights; they meet up with Lancelot, Gwaine, Elyan, Percival, etc. The season is full of Merlin learning magic (hatching dragons!) through a variety of sources, wandering Albion, and understanding all that has been lost since Uther’s Purge. Arthur and Morgana learn the difficulties of being a commoner and Arthur gains a new understanding of Gwen; Gwen, however, starts to have second thoughts about her relationship with Arthur now that Lancelot is back in the picture. Arthur’s uncle Agravaine comes to join their party, but Merlin and Morgana immediately suspect him as working on Uther’s behalf. This culminates in Agravaine finally revealing that Morgause is not dead but has partnered with King Odin and promised him Camelot; they have been slowly poisoning Uther since Arthur left to weaken Camelot’s defenses. Arthur and his band of knights- and the army Merlin, Morgana, and Gwen have spent the season gathering- return to Camelot to save Uther. But they are too late. Arthur returns to Uther freshly buried, a kingdom in disarray, and his own people distrusting the army he brings home. To bring them all together, Merlin tells the people to go to Lake Avalon, where he asks Freya to part the waters; a sword is revealed to be embedded within the stone. Arthur pulls Excalibur out of the stone, gains his confidence and inspires his people, and kills Morgause.
Season Five [First Half]: Having defeated Odin, Arthur has established Camelot as a place for magic to thrive and shine. Merlin hears of magic-users in Essetir being taken as slaves by the king, and insists that they must try to stop it. Merlin and Gwaine go to Lot’s kingdom in disguise and accidentally perform a coup; Merlin rules in Arthur’s name before Arthur comes to claim the lands as his own. In Essetir, he meets Mordred, who was captured by slavers after fleeing Camelot. Though uneasy, Merlin takes him under his wing and trains him, both in magic and, through Gwaine, in combat. Meanwhile, Caerleon, fearing Camelot’s growing military might, attempts to attack Arthur, but is repelled; Morgana then names him as High King on the battlefield, and all four kingdoms kneel to him. The tensions between Lancelot, Gwen’s, and Arthur grow daily, but the growing needs of Camelot mean they can none of them address them properly until Lancelot decides to go and help rule Essetir instead of standing in Gwen’s and Arthur’s way. Arthur and Gwen decide they should get married, and she is crowned as High Queen over Albion. Morgana is officially named Arthur’s heir.
Season Five [Second Half]: In the second half of the season, there’s a time jump. Mordred is a knight and a sorcerer, and all of Albion is at peace. Merlin is now the established court sorcerer and physician; Arthur’s knights are all acting as regents in various fiefdoms across Albion. Magic is a force for good and evil; Merlin has built schools for learning and pockets of entirely magical villages have cropped up. But Morgana’s dreams are uneasy, and when she tells Merlin, the two of them go to the crystal cave to get some more clarity. On the way back, they stop in Essetir, just in time to save Lancelot from an assassination attempt, though Merlin has to put him in a coma. Against Arthur’s advice, Gwen goes to Gaius and learns of a magical object called the Holy Grail, which could relieve all wounds and turn a life immortal. As High Queen, Gwen then issues a challenge to all of Albion for the Holy Grail, promising riches beyond all imagining. Arthur and his knights, called to by honor, go on the quest. Merlin returns from Essetir with Lancelot’s body and tells Gwen the Holy Grail is nothing other than the Old Religion’s Cup of Life, but it has been destroyed by the Druids when they learned of Morgause’s intent to steal it. Mordred then tells them that the Druids didn’t destroy it, but hid it instead, in a place with many magical trials; Merlin, and Mordred head out to overcome them. On the way there, they meet Arthur and his knights, and they join forces. Mordred is compelled by a vision on the way there and stabs Arthur with Excalibur; Merlin manages to grab the cup and come back, but Arthur refuses to take the water, instead insisting Merlin give the water to Lancelot. Merlin takes Arthur’s body to Avalon, where Freya, Morgause, and Ygraine are there to receive him. They bury him with honor and send Merlin off with the knowledge that Arthur will rise again. Merlin returns to Camelot with the Cup of Life and revives Lancelot. Gwen has exiled herself to a monastery to repent for her mistakes, but Lancelot tells Merlin that he will go after her, though the choice will be hers in the end. Morgana is crowned queen. Merlin serves as her advisor, but at the end of her reign, he retires to Avalon, where Arthur lies still, and places the entire lake under an enchantment, set to be broken only in the time of Albion’s greatest need.

Submission From Another Miraculous Fan...
just saw revolution for the 3rd time just to confirm that all my worst fears came true in the worst way imaginable GOD it was disgusting!  like there really are people out there who think there was some kind of "not everyone can be redeemed" message behind that vengeful, sickening, and even downright toxic writing, lol!  with the incredible amount of inconsistencies, dodgy, repetitive and poorly written dialogue behind Chloe's arc frankly i feel like people just stopped at the thought of the post and didn't really pay attention to it  what was told behind.  I especially like those people who say that Chloe will be able to taste her own medicine because now child abuse has become acceptable because she is mean!  wonderful!
Am I supposed to be proud of Andre?  the good joke?  the man who abused his power time and time again for Chloe, who never called her out on her way of treating others, acting like a scared dog in front of his own daughter but now that he sees the error of his  manners does he decide to take responsibility for his daughter's actions?  to be a better father?  to scold her?  to advise her?  to give him limits and as FELIX would say to help him move forward in life as any parent worthy of the name would do?  nooooo of course he divorces him, keeps the nice girl with him and throws the human waste into the arms of his mother who of course has been held up as a "role model" all this time and I'm supposed to call that good writing, people are  they aware of what they are watching or not?
let it be clear André bourgeois was never the victim of anyone even less of Chloé, he had the power to do what he did from the start, he just lacked the will and now that he gets  what is he doing?  HE THROWS IT????  no but wake up! it's Chloé's FUCKING FATHER my GOD do you really think it's the right thing to do here????André bourgeois is only what he has always been here: irresponsible  , a coward, a bad father and a poor guy!  he does not take responsibility for anything neither for abusing his power nor for supporting his daughter in these abuses all this time, he is rewarded with a nicer girl that he appropriates while he has NO  RIGHT of any kind on her but hey I'm sure Mr Lee will have no problem finding out that his daughter was left to her co-husband🤣🤣🤣, by the powers conferred on him he ejects himself from the town hall and divorces  in a snap of your fingers like man😑😑😑 you're not malediktor anymore that's not how it works!!! god the logic of the world is completely off the rails in this universe😧😧😧 he can now live his life as a movie director without worrying about his daughter  irreparable that he throws into the arms of his ex-wife without a second thought and from what I see we are witnessing the beginning or the continuity (at your choice) of the cycle of abuse from mother to daughter and we public must applaud without any form  reflection!
the double standards and hypocrisy behind the writing of this series will never cease to disgust me and amaze me with how Thomas and his cronies always find a way to sink lower than before every time!  because yes they are ALL RESPONSIBLE, I want Thomas to have influence but from the moment you accept that shit like this should be broadcast you have a serious problem!  I don't hate Chloé or André or the other characters I just pity them because at the end of the day they are just the victims of a man with an oversized ego made megalomaniac by the success of what he has  created!  the redemption of the notorious terrorist who terrorized the city and abused his son for months will just be the culmination of some of the most mediocre writing I've ever seen on a show  for child!  even the adrienette kiss didn't inspire me anything their debut in origins not bad, evolution sucked, fixation sucked, interaction as a couple sucked EVERYTHING was boring!!!marichat was definitely my favorite here!
..............................
This is me talking now ...Apart from that, I think they thought it was a pretty sound episode! ;)

Okay—~⭐️!!
I promised I would share about some of my AU for Dr. Starline-or, how things could have gone a bit earlier in his life, and even though I’ve decided to rework a few things to make sure I’m making the story as good as I can make it, here’s a bit of it.
(…WHO AM I KIDDING, THERE’S A LOT OF IT.
But please give it a read anyways! I promise it’s good!)
I don’t really have a name for this AU, yet (if anyone has any ideas, please let me know!) but it takes place before the IDW comics, probably by a few years at least.
⭐️ Premise: Dr. Starline enters a competition of inventors and innovators with the hopes of using it to gain Eggman’s attention, and finds something there that he was not expecting to.
As I have it, Starline is not quite the level of mad doctor we see of him from the comics quite yet.
He’s still poised and a lone wolf, sometimes trying to mimic Eggman in his way of thinking, but hasn’t reached the level of “try to murder hedgehogs with a bomb” or “Operation: Remaster” yet.
So.. still redeemable.
Tumblr media
At this point, he’s already attempted to get the Doctor’s attention multiple times over the years, but has had little luck each time. However, this completion has a big tech name backing it, and he expects Eggman will be closely paying attention to it as a result of it. A perfect opportunity to get him on his radar.
While there, he meets Rivet, a sly and energetic cat inventor who he seems to naturally click with. And over the course of the prelims, a surprisingly friendly rivalry grows between them to get into the competition and win the top spot.
⭐️(Side Note: This is because Starline’s not too worried about losing to her, but he admires her tenacious spirit considering her origins were largely non-technological.)
Unsurprisingly, they both get in, and it’s announced that those who made it in are now going to have to form teams. Of course, Starline— having his ego, as well as a reluctance to work with others due to his upbringing being comprised of him being bullied and treated poorly for his interests—isn’t thrilled.
Tumblr media
But, not ready to give up his dream yet, he does his usual, “What would Eggman do?”, and decides to team up with people who he thinks might have the most potential and be the easiest to manipulate into doing what he wants.
⭐️ (Side Note: He does not have his hypno glove at this point! That would make things too easy.) (.. Despite him probably having it before the warp topaz in canon. MOVING ON!)
This lands him on Rivet, her brother Charge, a tiny rat named Hex, his bulldog friend Lug, and a firefly named Cello.
Tumblr media
Starline assigns himself as the leader of the group, due to his elevated knowledge and experience in the three fields they’re working with— robotics, chemistry, and biology. But as he attempts to get them on board to.. essentially let him run the whole show, tensions and conflicts quickly mount as they begin to push back.
At his wits end after a few days of arguments and fights, he ends up confiding in Rivet and Charge to ask for their insight, seeing as they themselves have been a team for a very long time. The Amp Twins explain to him what teamwork actually is and how to accomplish it, which Starline realizes is a completely foreign concept to him because he’s always worked alone.
Despite his ego hating having to make sacrifices to get this team to work, Starline gives in and takes their advice by changing his tactics. Tracking the team down one by one to talk to them and try to understand why they’re fighting him.
To his surprise, it works! He lets them express themselves and in doing so, discovers that.. these people aren’t so different from him. All of them have great skill, but have been hurt in a similar fashion as he was, and are here, just trying to accomplish their dreams.
Tumblr media
The conversations make him sit with his thoughts. He empathizes with them. Encourages them, because that’s what he himself wished someone had done for him. And.. while the depth of his reasoning for doing so is still very much selfish and because he wants to win, he still finds he’s also being.. genuine.
Needless to say, he reluctantly gives up some control to let the others bring their ideas to the table, and his plan works. They all end up working.. surprisingly well together, and even end up teaching him a few things.
Huh. That’s new.
Over the next few weeks that pass, Starline slowly grows more and more relaxed, softening up around the edges as he experiences what having a good supportive group of like-minded people around him is like.
They.. appreciate him. They.. respect him. They treat him well.
And he’s.. not used to this. Not used to people wanting to hear his ideas. Not used to being able to have scientific debates with someone who understands what he’s saying. Not used to being dragged out of the lab by a cheerful purple cat to join her and the others for a dinner in the town. Not used to his smiles being real.
By end of the competition, they’re all quite close as a team, working together in comfortable tandem.
Starline at one point even admits to himself that he actually would consider the group to be.. his friends. They make him feel welcome and appreciated like no one ever has, which is—at the depth of who he is as a character—what he has always wanted and yearned for.
But.. there is still the matter of Eggman.
Tumblr media
One thing I want to establish very firmly is that, while Starline opens up more to the others and has moments of being a genuinely sweet person, he is still very much an Eggman fanboy whose dream of working by his side one day has not disappeared.
This is his struggle. His Achilles heel, so to speak.
Because throughout the whole competition, Starline never actually tells the group WHO his inspration is.
They know he has one. They know that’s why he’s here; to gain the attention and recognition of the man by winning the competition. They’ve heard his excited rants about this ‘genius’ and all the brilliant and inspiring things he’s done.
But they don’t know it’s Eggman.
At first Starline keeps his fascination on the downlow, only because he knows he’ll be working with people in the competition who have been affected by the Doctor, and doesn’t want to sabotage his chances of winning. But as he meets the others and gets closer and closer with them, it becomes more about fear and guilt.
He doesn’t want to admit it— Him? Afraid? Guilty?? Never.
But.
What if they were to find out? They’d turn on him for sure. He’d get dumped by the group, just like before when he was growing up. Shamed and left isolated and alone.

By getting too close, he’s caught himself in a trap. He’s torn between two different lives he could lead. He finds himself slowly beginning to question which one he wants more.
It makes him hesitate when they ask him to form an official team with them after the competition is over. Prevents him from being able to be as open and honest as he might like. Keeps him from being closer to Rivet like he knows they both want.
And even though they know there’s hesitation there, they (particularly Rivet) never stop trying to reach out to him.
Eventually though, the truth does come out and he has to finally make a drastic choice..
…But I think I’ll leave that bit for next time ;)

Knight Commander as Companion Prompt: Hilde
I decided to finally fill this out since I’ve been writing about Hilde for nearly a year and never actually did something like this.
template done by @dragonologist-phd and you can find blank version here
Name: Hilde Svalksdottir
Race: Musetouched Aasimar
Class: Battle Singer Skald
Appearance: Hilde is a rugged warrior from the north, athletic and well muscled yet oddly short at only 5’2”. She is 24 years old. She has slightly tan skin and messy peach-colored hair owing to her aasimar heritage, with glowing pinkish eyes to match. A deep, old scar runs along the bridge of her round nose just below her eyes, and the rest of her body is dotted with more sparse scars. She paints her face red or pink with small decorations, swirls and lines significant only to her own people, and on some days she paints a butterfly on her forehead. Hilde usually wears thick furs or leather clothes, and accessorizes with a necklace of animal fangs and a few talismans.
Favored Weapon/Equipment: Greataxe and medium armor.
Top Skills: Persuasion, Lore (Nature), Athletics, Knowledge (World)
Alignment: Chaotic neutral.
General Personality: Hilde is curious, friendly, and inquisitive. She loves to talk about stories and history and will remark about how she intends to write a saga detailing the Commander’s adventures. She views herself as a warrior-poet, mastering the art of war for the purpose of gaining knowledge. She’s eager to fight or spar and values honor and honesty. While quite charming and social, she is blunt to the point of rudeness and always speaks from the heart. She will not hesitate to tell the Commander (or anyone else) when she thinks they’re wrong, and appreciates when others treat her the same way. She also tends to get defensive when her strength or usefulness is called into question.
What traits/values do they admire? Honor, Honesty, Freedom, Strength, Curiosity
What traits/values do they disapprove of? Deception, Cruelty, Indifference, Authoritarianism
Are they affiliated with any deities? Hilde is chiefly a worshipper of Desna, primarily revering her as a goddess of travel and luck. She values freedom and creativity and frequently visits Desna’s shrines as she travels. She also worships Gorum, though disagrees with his philosophy of focusing on battle above else. She will bond with the Commander over either shared faith and with Arueshalae over Desna.
What do they think of their role in the Crusades, and of sharing the Commander’s Mythic powers? What are their reasons for joining the commander’s party? She’s excited right from the bat to take part in the crusades, as it affords her the opportunity to gather stories, improve her own strength, and explore old Sarkoris. She has a hidden motivation of proving herself to her tribe and father, as the Commander will eventually learn about.
She is initially very curious about the Commander’s mythic powers and sees it as proof that she chose a good fight to join, one that will be sung about for centuries. She’s surprised that the powers spread to her, and views the power it gives as an unfair advantage she didn’t earn herself, something she describes as “strength that is not my own”.
Who are their friends among the other party members? Hilde is fascinated by Arueshalae and her journey and becomes fast friends with her. She takes it upon herself to help Arueshalae to acclimate to life among mortals and bonds with her over them both being rather out of place among Mendevian crusaders. She also does all she can to help Arueshalae change and redeem herself and is quick to defend her, initially under the excuse that a demon redeeming themselves is a remarkable and rare story, but eventually admitting she personally likes Arueshalae and wants her to succeed. If neither is romanced and both achieve good endings, they’ll get together after the story.
Hilde also gets along well with Nenio, both interested in learning knowledge. Nenio’s focus on experimentation and science is less shared by Hilde, but they both enjoy getting to nerd out together over history and become something approximating friends. She gets extremely upset by Nenio’s Act 5 quest and jumps to hug her once Nenio remembers herself.
Hilde also gets along with Seelah. They have fairly similar personalities and make fast friends, able to joke and drink and kill demons together. They’re supportive of each other and overall very wholesome, though the friendship sours a little if Seelah becomes more lawful.
Hilde makes quick friends with Greybor, appreciating his casual attitude, competence, and bluntness. She tries to help him find hobbies other than killing and hangs out with him in the tavern often.
Hilde gets along well with Lann, having both come from a tribe. They joke and banter together, though he displays occasional disdain for her leaving her tribe.
Hilde feels for Ember, having lost her own mother when she was young. She tries to take care of and protect her.
Hilde gets along well with Sosiel and enjoys that he appreciates art and music. She gets along fine enough with Trever, though she doesn’t understand why he doesn’t embrace his rage more.
Haven’t played the Sarkorian DLC, but Hilde and Ulbrig definitely get along very well despite their differing views on magic.
What about rivals?
Hilde views Daeran as everything wrong with cushy civilized people, and Daeran agreeing with her does not help her opinion on him. She holds a disdain for him and they frequently snipe and argue with each other. Ultimately, she does still care about him and will stand up for him during his Act 5 questline.
Hilde values loyalty and honor, and sees none of it in Wenduag. Wenduag seems to rather like Hilde, though she sees Hilde’s focus on learning as a weakness. Hilde is rude and blunt to Wenduag, and will warn the Commander to be wary of her.
Hilde dislikes Camellia for all the same reasons she dislikes Daeran and is very vocal about her dislike. She warms up to her slightly upon learning about Camellia’s spirit, though if she comes to learn of Camellia’s ‘hobbies’ she’ll warn the Commander that her rituals are very abnormal even for the type of magic she’s practicing.
Hilde and Regill don’t particularly get along, but they have some respect for each other. Hilde views Regill as stiff and insufferable but capable while Regill views her as undisciplined and wild but effective and pragmatic.
Hilde initially gets along very poorly with Woljif, as she doesn’t hide her disdain for thieves. She eventually warms up to him and sympathizes with him not fitting in well. Woljif comes to like her more as he learns she’s a bit of a misfit too, and they end as pretty good friends.
Are they on any councils? If so, what sort of advice do they give? Staff and Military. She generally focuses on inspiring the soldiers and being honest to them in the staff councils, and offers barbarian and support-focused choices with the military council.
Where do they hang out in Drezen? In the Abyss? In Drezen she hangs out near Storyteller, and in the Abyss she sits near a ledge at the very bottom of the outside area.
What are their idle animations? She cracks her neck and knuckles then throws a few practice punches.
She pulls out a book and writes some lyrics down, then taps her chin in thought and writes a few more.
She pulls off her fur cloak, shakes it out, and puts it back on.
If they’re taken to Areelu’s lab, what is their dream? She’s sitting in a chair surrounded by children and one shadowy figure to her left. The children are all calling her Chieftain and asking her to tell them another story, which she is about to oblige before the illusion fades. The Commander will be able to comment.
Hilde: “Oh, that was… I see. Hello, I assume you saw that?”
KC: “That was a sweet dream.”
Hilde: “Thank you, but it’s far out of reach. Ugh, now I feel miserable. I guess that’s the point though, like everything demons do... Let’s get a move on.”
Or
KC: “Your dreams are rather… Small.”
Hilde: “Maybe. But I think every warrior really just fights for something like that, so you can put the axe down and live simply in peace. At least, I do. Anyways, let’s go.”
The Commander can also ask “So, who was that person next to you?”
If KC is female and has not rejected Hilde’s romance: Hilde’s cheeks flush scarlet and she coughs in surprise. “That? Ah… Don’t worry about it. Just silly dreams.”
Otherwise: Hilde smiles wistfully and shrugs. “My nonexistent future wife. That sounded a lot less depressing in my head, but I’m sure you understand the idea.”
Do they advise the commander to abandon or keep their mythic powers?
Angel: “I’m an advocate that how something is used is more important than where it comes from. You took powers from a demon and used them as an instrument of good and justice. I think that’s a good reason to keep doing things as you are.”
Azata: “I’m an advocate that how something is used is more important than where it comes from. You took powers from a demon and used them as an instrument of freedom, hope, and beauty. I think that’s a good reason to keep doing things as you are.”
Aeon: “It’s your decision, but I’d hold on tight to your mortality. Abandoning it means giving up your freedom. Is the power worth it if you become a slave to the will of the universe? I don’t know, that’s up to you.”
Trickster: “I’m an advocate that how something is used is more important than where it comes from. You took powers from a demon and used them as an instrument of freedom and creativity. I think that’s a good reason to keep doing things as you are.”
Demon: “I think rage can be good and useful, but even the best-intentioned anger can enslave you if you let it. Whatever you choose, please be careful. Don’t lose yourself for the sake of power, it’s never worth it.”
Lich: "I understand that you need power for your goal, but power will control and corrupt you. Whatever you choose, please be careful. Don't lose yourself for the sake of power, it's never worth it."
How/when do they join the Commander’s party? Hilde will join early in Act 2. While on the road, the Commander will receive word of a traveler that wants to meet with them. Hilde will be shown in and warn the Commander of the swarm of vescavors they are on the way to encounter, and explain she was traveling along the road when she nearly encountered them and was forced to turn back. She’ll also mention that she saw a caravan from Kenabres moving towards the swarm and will give some tips on dealing with them. The Commander can ask some basic questions about her and invite her to accompany them and provide aid. After the battle she’ll say the Commander is something special and she’d like to tag along more permanently.
Describe their companion quest: Not present in Act 1.
Act 2: Aside from initially meeting her, Hilde has little further story. When the gargoyles attack, she’s carried off and rejoins fighting alongside Regill, ignoring his orders to pull back. She’ll also come to talk to the Commander on the night before Drezen. She claims she’s come to ask their opinion on the saga she intends to write of the upcoming battle, but a little prodding reveals her goal is to reassure the Commander and herself that the battle will go well.
Act 3: The Commander will receive visitors from the Land of Linnorm Kings, a grizzled elderly chieftain named Svalk who wishes to pledge his clan to the crusade. The Commander can accept his help, and he is somewhat evasive if asked why he has decided to join the war effort. After he leaves, Anevia will mention that Hilde is also from the Land of Linnorm Kings and she might no more. Regardless of whether the clan’s aid was accepted, Hilde will react with rage when told. She’ll explain that Svalk is her father, and she doesn’t get along with him. If they were dismissed, she’ll thank the Commander. If their help was accepted, she’ll mention she’s going to try to avoid him. A few days later, the Commander will encounter Hilde and the chieftain having a shouting match in the middle of Drezen. They only catch the tail end of the argument, but the chieftain accuses Hilde of allying with weaklings and getting soft before Hilde draws her axe and snarls at him to come see how ‘soft’ she’s gotten. The commander can interrupt the impending fight by having guards separate them, reproaching Svalk for not being a good guest, reproaching Hilde for threatening an ally, or trying to de-escalate with diplomacy. Either way, they’ll stow their weapons and Svalk will insult Hilde before stomping off. Hilde will apologize to the Commander and explain that her father wanted a son and her attempts to prove her strength have never been good enough. The Commander will be able to suggest she fight him properly over it (evil, Hilde will say she doesn’t want to fight her own father), slay a powerful demon to impress her father (lawful, contributes to her chieftain ending), or say she’s impressive on her own and doesn’t need his approval (chaotic, contributes to her poet ending and improves relationship). If she’s recommended to slay a demon, she’ll say she’ll need to ask the Commander’s help and she’ll look for a suitable opponent. If she’s told she doesn’t need to impress him, she’ll say she still wants to do something truly impressive for herself and thank the Commander for their support.
Act 4: Hilde will have a brief conversation near the Battlebliss arena where she discusses her thoughts on the Abyss. Her aasimar heritage hates being in the Abyss and makes her sick, but she’s also felt it stoking her rage. She’ll also reveal she’s already killed several demons that tried to enslave her and is disgusted by how demons are ‘enamored’ with aasimar women. Later, Hilde will approach the Commander in the Nexus and ask if they remember her fight with her father. They’ll be able to talk with her a little and further encourage her to either become the powerful warrior he wants or forge her own identity. Either way, she’ll explain she learned about a powerful slaver in the Fleshmarkets who prides himself on capturing gladiators. She’ll ask if the Commander will help her kill them, either to impress her father or for her own sake. After killing him, Hilde will cut off his head as a trophy, thank the Commander, and joke that she’ll include a part for them in her saga (if their romance is progressing, she’ll also half-joke she might turn it into a love poem instead).
Act 5: Soon after returning to Drezen, Hilde will ask the Commander to come with her to show off her trophy to her father. Unable to find him in Drezen, she’s told that he and his clan are out fighting. She’ll ask the Commander to come along with her. Once they arrive, they have to save Svalk and a host of warriors from demons. After making sure he’s alright, the two quickly fall back into their pattern of mocking each other. Depending on past and current dialogue choices, Hilde will either manage to impress her father with her trophy and combat prowess and he’ll abdicate her position to him (chieftain ending), or Hilde will give a speech about how she’s realized she’ll never be the warrior he wanted and that’s fine. She’ll perform what she has of the saga she’s been writing, and her father will reconcile with her (poet ending). Either way, she’ll thank the Commander for their help and remark that no matter what she’s not leaving until their story is done.
Are they romanceable? Describe their romance quest/scenes if you want! Hilde is romanceable only by female Commanders. There will be some options to flirt with her when she’s first met and the night before the battle for Drezen, which she seems shy but receptive to. While camping in the field in Act 3, she can be found early in the morning writing poetry. The Commander will ask what she‘s writing, to which she gets embarrassed and shyly confesses she’s trying her hand at love poetry, but she’s used only to more epic poems and it’s no good. Some pressing will get her to admit she’s writing about the Commander, but it means nothing and she’s just experimenting. The Commander can accept her explanation (ends the romance), flirt brazenly (continues the romance, but she seems a bit upset and remarks she’s not just some easy lay), or say she would prefer if Hilde did mean something by the poetry (flusters her and advances the romance). If it goes well, she’ll offer to let the Commander read her poetry once it’s finished.
After her argument with her father, she’ll barge into the Commander’s study to vent if their relationship is going well. She’ll give more detail into her backstory, how she was raised as a boy and could never get approval from her father, and how she’s always been fascinated by storytelling and eventually left to travel. She’ll remark that she’s probably being childish, but the conversation progresses to the Commander. She’ll admit that she feels more comfortable around them than she’s felt around anyone in a long time, but will shy away again, remarking the Commander probably wants nothing to do with a backwater barbarian like her. The Commander can protest and kiss her, and take her to bed if they want.
She’ll have a few extra dialogue options during her Act 4 conversations if in a relationship.
During Act 5, Hilde will invite the Commander up to the ramparts for a date. She’ll confess that the Commander is her first love and she’s scared of losing her. She’ll ask the Commander to promise her that she won’t sacrifice herself and will talk about their plans for after the war. She’ll end it by shyly asking if the Commander would like to go traveling together and visit both their homelands after the war. There will also be an option to propose to her, which she’ll accept if the relationship is going very well, and they’ll spend the night again.
After she reconciles with her father, Hilde will shyly introduce the Commander as either her chieftess or her muse, depending on her ending. Her father will either eagerly accept the Commander, or seem rather reluctant depending on how they’ve treated him and Hilde.
What would their ending slides be like?
Chieftain ending: After the war, Hilde returned to the Land of Linnorm Kings as a hero of legendary strength and equal wisdom. She led her tribe to prosperity and glory, but a kernel of her always missed the open road and freedom of travel. (If she is romanced) While she and the Commander could not spend every moment together, they met often and Hilde occasionally entrusted the tribe to her aging father to go travel with her beloved. (If neither she nor Arueshalae are romanced) She was joined by an unusual companion in Arueshalae, and the two eventually fell in love.
Poet ending: After the war, Hilde traveled where her wandering soul guided her and refused to be tied down. Wherever she went, she spread the song of her and the Commander and their heroic war against the demons. (If she is romanced) She was accompanied by the Commander, and her songs were just as often devoted to her beloved’s beauty as they were her heroics. (If neither she nor Arueshalae are romanced) She also made good on a promise to show Arueshalae around the world of mortals, and she was never far from the redeemed succubus.
Ascension ending: Ascending to divinity was an odd challenge for Hilde. Neither leading her tribe nor traveling the world held much interest for her anymore, so she dedicated herself to patroning the arts and inspiring warriors like her whose souls had been touched by knowledge and beauty.
Aeon time travel ending: Hilde became a famous skald at a young age for a masterpiece she composed, a great saga of a war that never occurred between mortals and demons. So rich was the detail and emotion in her saga that one could swear she experienced it herself. When asked how she came up with such a fantastic story, she’d only wink and say she was inspired by a dear friend.
Any other fun facts? After Arueshalae joins, some prodding will reveal Hilde offered to travel with her after the war was over.
Hilde completes more of her saga as the game goes on, and sometimes she’ll begin conversations by giving a few lines and asking the Commander what they think.
Provide some dialogue/bark examples!
Conversation start: Hilde claps her book shut, brushes some hair out of her face, and turns to you with a slight smile. “Hello there. Is there something I can help you with?”
Conversation end: “Of course, a pleasure as always.” She pulls her book back out and turns away.
Selection: “What can this barbarian do for you, hm?” / “Oh, I lost my train of thought. What is it?” / “My axe is sharp and my wits are sharper!”
Skill success: “Hah, barely even a challenge!” / “Seems I’m just that good.” / “Not saga-worthy, but still impressive I think!”
Skill failure: “O-oh, that’s embarrassing…” / “Maybe I need to do some more reading.” / “Listen, everyone has bad performances sometimes.”
Noticed something: "Hold a moment, what's that?" / "If my eyes don't deceive me..." / "Hey, do you see that? Right there."
Combat start: “Gorum, guide our blades!” / “Desna, give us luck!” / “I’ll carve them to pieces!”
Critical hit/killing blow: “That will make a fine song!” / “The world is watching me!” / *Roars in rage*
Low health: “Gah, that actually hurts…” / “You’ll pay for that with your life!” / “Regrettably, I’m not invincible…”
Knocked unconscious: “O-oh, n-not again…” / “I’m s-so sorry, I’m weak…” / “Damn it, I’m stronger than this…”
Unable to use/equip something: "What am I supposed to do with this?" / "I... Don't think that's how that works." / "Well. This is useless."
After taking her to bed: "Please, stay a while longer... Let me keep you warm." / "Ah, that was... T-that was very nice. You're so soft..." / "I could stay here forever, but we have work to do. I'll be thinking of you..."
Provide some examples of companion banters!
Hilde: “So, Arueshalae, how are you liking the road? Travel is one of Desna’s greatest blessings! The long days, the endless sights… In my opinion, it’s even better than dreams!”
Arueshalae: “I am used to traveling, though the company does improve it. I guess I’ve never really thought of that as a blessing from Desna… But still… I wish I could have a dream. Even if only to compare the two.”
Hilde: “I’ve always been curious if there’s a deeper culture to demons. Do you have songs, poems, stories? Could you share some, maybe?”
Arueshalae: “I think there are some, but they’re all ugly, glorifying death and slaughter. You wouldn’t enjoy them.”
Arueshalae: “How is it that you can trust me after seeing all the pain and death demons bring. Are you not afraid of me and my past?”
Hilde: “I trust a sinner trying to reform herself far more than I trust someone so drunk on self-righteousness they don’t realize they’re doing wrong. I know you won’t mess your redemption up.”
Arueshalae: “You tell such lovely stories. I’d like to see the places you talk about someday…”
Hilde: “How about we go see them, then? After the war is over, I promise I’ll show you around this beautiful mortal world.”
(If Arueshalae is being romanced) Hilde: "I know you'll break free someday, Arueshalae. The prison around one's heart is the worst one of all, but love is the perfect key to release you."
Arueshalae: "Love... I... I hope someday I'm worthy of feeling that. Maybe then I'll be free from this. Until then, I can only try to learn what it is to love. Could you maybe tell me another mortal love story?"
(If neither Hilde nor Arue are being romanced) Arueshalae: "I just wish I could too love someone and be loved in return... To spend long nights together, holding each other... It would be so wonderful."
Hilde: "Arueshalae, you're beautiful, kind, strong, wonderful in every way! Anyone would be lucky to be able to love you. I, ah... I would be happy to try to help you learn how to love..."
Camellia: “Oh, my pack is so heavy. If only some big, strong lady would carry it for me, I’d be so grateful! Oh, hello there Hilde!”
Hilde: “Carry it yourself, or find another fool who will do your work for you.”
Camellia: “I am sick and tired of being stuck out here in the woods with no amenities. Not even a proper washroom!”
Hilde: “And I’m sick of having to share a camp with a vapid, prissy noblewoman who’s never had to struggle in her life.”
(If Camellia is being romanced) Camellia: "My, what's with that glare? Perhaps our dear barbarian is jealous of me being on the Commander's arm instead of her?"
Hilde: "Jealous? Ha, hardly. I was just contemplating how men all have horrible taste in women. If you need proof, just look at our Commander, for all his positive traits!"
Daeran: “My, who would have guessed the cold north would produce such a holy, amazonian beauty…”
Hilde: “Clearly you’ve never been to the north. And I do apologize, but you’re too masculine for my tastes.”
Hilde: “I am curious as to how someone so cruel and uncaring came to be such a skilled healer.”
Daeran: “Oh, I’m afraid it’s not a story fit for your glorious sagas. And not a story I enjoy recalling.”
(If Daeran is being romanced) Hilde: "Answer something for me, Count. Did you charm the Commander by showing your hidden soft side, or do they just enjoy being belittled by a vapid nobleman?"
Daeran: "I like to think it's a little bit of both. Let's just say I have a silver tongue in more ways than one..."
Ember: “You’re so strange. I know you don’t like hurting people, but then you look so happy when you’re in the middle of battle.”
Hilde: “I’m not happy when I’m fighting, but it is satisfying to crush your enemies underfoot. But I still prefer to just be a humble poet telling her stories.”
Hilde: “I… Lost my mother in a bad winter. I don’t remember her, but Father raised me. For better or for worse…”
Ember: “Even if you resent him and he wasn’t always perfect, I think he still really cares about you. And you care about him.”
(If Hilde is being romanced) Ember: "Your songs have changed lately. You're always singing about love now, it's so sweet!"
Hilde: "A-ah, I... I suppose I have. Well, I... I am in love. It feels nice to say that out loud."
Hilde: “You’ve traveled all over the world and the only stories you can share is who you’ve killed and how? That’s boring, killing tells me nothing about the places you’ve been! Tell me about the food, the people, the sights!”
Greybor: “I’m really not that interested in the food or sights, just the jobs. Are only some murders good enough for your grand sagas?”
Greybor: “You’re a damn good fighter, how come you’re so good at it if you’d rather live as a cushy poet?”
Hilde: “Fighting is nothing more than a means to an end for everyone. For me, it’s a means to find inspiration for my poetry.”
Hilde: “It’s probably best for your daughter that you don’t return home. An absent father is better than a bad one, take it from me.”
Greybor: “That managed to hurt a lot more than everyone saying I should go back to her. Kudos to you.”
Lann: “So, you’re the chieftain’s daughter, next in line to lead? And you just abandoned your tribe to go wandering? I don’t understand you.”
Hilde: “I didn’t abandon my tribe, I left because I wasn’t wanted. Father made that quite clear from the day I was born. I don’t see how it’s different from you leaving to join the Crusade.”
Hilde: “It’s nice to meet someone else that knows what it’s like to rough it. Some winters, it felt like I was providing half my tribe’s food.”
Lann: “Only half? Joking, of course. Never really had to deal with winters underground, it was just always hard to find food. Out here feels like a bounty in comparison.”
(If Lann is being romanced) Hilde: "A date that's also sparring... Ha, thanks for the idea, Lann! That would fit right in back home."
Lann: "See, I knew it wasn't that strange of an idea! I'm just surprised it actually worked."
Nenio: “Aasimar girl, did you know that the Land of Linnorm Kings is only ever united under a single leader by one who slays a true linnorm?”
Hilde: “Of course I know the laws of my home. Say, Nenio, do you want to help me find a linnorm so you can get an interview with the new Linnorm Queen?”
Hilde: “Nenio, please ask permission before you pluck my hair. It hurts. OW! What did I just say?”
Nenio: “Hold still, aasimar girl. I’ll need a few more strands if I want to both measure the luminosity of aasimar hair and discover what form of celestial you are descended from.”
(If Sosiel is being romanced) Nenio: "I am confused. In all my experiments, I have never seen an impromptu orchestra like that! Aasimar girl, could you shed some light onto this?"
Hilde: "Nenio, how have you not done any experiments on love and how it turns people into fools?"
Regill: “You nearly cut my head off with a swing in that last battle. Were this a Hellknight unit, I would have you court-martialed. Your lack of discipline is endangering us all.”
Hilde: “Good thing this isn’t a Hellknight unit, then. But if it were, death would be a relief. I really don’t see what you’re so upset about, I didn’t take your head off!”
Hilde: “One would think you’d like being in a group that appreciates the value of spontaneity. It’ll slow your Bleaching, that’s for sure!”
Regill: “That assessment would only be true if I wanted to stop the Bleaching. I am more concerned for the success of our mission.”
(If Hilde is being romanced) Regill: "While chronicling history is an important pursuit, it is absolute folly to waste time recording meaningless romantic notions."
Hilde: "I write what I feel. Normally, I feel like learning and recording what I see. Today, I feel in love! I only hope you find someone to warm that cold grey heart of yours."
Seelah: “Hey, sister! Today’s the day I drink you under the table!”
Hilde: “I doubt it! You’re always welcome to challenge me, but you’re a long way off from being able to outdrink an Ulfen.”
Hilde: “So, be honest with me. You’re not really a paladin, right? I’ve never met a follower of Iomedae that likes to laugh, and doesn’t insult a barbarian like me and her heathen magic.”
Seelah: “I guess I’m a bit of a rare breed, then! I’ll take it as a compliment.”
(If Arueshalae is being romanced) Hilde: "I'm so happy for her... But a small part of me feels sad. I suppose I wish I could have been the one to show her how to love... Ugh, what's wrong with me?"
Seelah: "Nothing's wrong with you! You just had a little crush, and got let down. Happens to all of us! Come on, let's get a drink."
Sosiel: “Your sagas and songs are lovely, but they all glorify war and battle. Do you truly see beauty in that?”
Hilde: “Of course I do. There’s beauty in everything, including war, heroism, and combat.”
Hilde: “I wish I could paint as well as you, Sosiel. My sketches are so rough by comparison.”
Sosiel: “And I wish I could write poetry as lovely as yours. We all have our own talents, and yours is no less beautiful than mine.”
(If Hilde is being romanced) Hilde, singing: “The color of my true love’s hair, her lips are like a rose so fair… She’s got the sweetest face and gentlest hands, I love the ground whereon she stands…”
Sosiel: “I’ve never heard you sing of such romantic affairs. It’s beautiful. My congratulations on your love.”
Wenduag: “You, aasimar girl, you know how harsh the world is. Why do you spend half your time on useless songs and stories and half on training, when you should be spending all of it becoming stronger!”
Hilde: “Stronger is relative. My ‘useless’ songs and stories give me another kind of strength, one I wouldn’t expect you to understand. And besides, my life would be dull if I spent all my time getting better at fighting.”
Hilde: “Here we go everyone, fresh boar meat! Killed it, purified it, and cooked it myself!”
Wenduag: “You killed this thing yourself? Hmm, maybe you’re stronger than I gave you credit for. But why would you cook it…?”
Woljif: “Being an aasimar must be nice. Everyone loves ya, thinks nice things about you and Heaven and beauty, you get a nice cushy childhood! Tieflings though, that’s another story!”
