Heyo guys ! this is my first multi part fanfiction and I hope that you will all like it =w=. No TW for now apart for coming smut in next chapters~ This was originally a request by @soul-stealer-reaper . Thanks for requesting :) originally you asked for a scenario with rough NSFW where Law has a crush on a girl that the government is afraid of and that has high bounty. As this will have some parts, everything you asked for will come in the next chapters so no worries :’) ! I won’t hide that wrote quite freely tho, I hope that it’s fine. Synopsis : You have felt unwanted for so long that you forgot the last time you felt like you belonged. Quite paradoxical, when you are one of the most wanted “criminals” in the new world. You cross paths with Law after joining the strawhats at Fishman Island to “kill some time” and you both feel a weird connection from the moment your eyes met, curiosity, hatred or desire, did it really matter as long as feelings were involved ? ---------------------------

The first time that Law saw you, he found you extremely annoying. He remembered that he saw your wanted poster somewhere, with one of the highest bounties that he has ever seen. Seeing such a high bounty made him raise an eyebrow at first, what could you have done to have the whole world on your back ? The second thought that came to his mind was that of detachement, then he flinched at that thought.

The first time that Law saw you in person was after his Allience with the strawhats. You stayed at the ship the whole time, you didn't even bother to follow others to punk Hazard or to help them with their plans. He thought that you were an extremely selfish person and you reminded him of the person that he hated most. That way you had of doing what you wanted without caring about others, the smirk you had on your lips at all times, never submitting, always acting so sure of yourself, it irritated him.

How could someone get such a strong reaction out of him ? He didn't even know, he always eyed you from afar and it was enough to know that you prfoundly, passionately got on his nerves.

You joined the strawhats in the Fishmen Island, finding your way to them and just asking to join. Luffy's simplistic demeanor meant that he accepted right away, not caring about who you were and not flinching at your high bounty.

You made it clear that you were just staying to be entertained, in fact, you didn't want to fight, you didn't want to help anyone, your curiosity was just peaked by Luffy, by that man that defied the world government, by that man that defied everyone at Marineford. You weren't impressed, but you just felt sympathy towards him and wanted to find some company.

You found what you were looking for, in fact, life with the strawhats was enjoyable, you didn't get along with Usopp or Nami. The former thought that you were « too scary » and would kill them in their sleep, the latter hated how little you were willing to cooperate.

You had your own reason, but nobody on that ship was able to grasp your personnality, you just had your own way of thinking, your own internal logic that nobody seemed to get. Who were you ? Why were you there and why was the whole world on your back ? All these questions were provoking Law, teasing him endlessly. His curiosity was growing day after day and you were always there, on a lounge chair enjoying the burn of the sun on your skin, not caring about anything else, not caring about him, not that he cared...did he ? You got on his nerves just by being there, he felt obseverd yet, he wasn't the kind of people to get flustered but your gaze was so intense, feline.

It was a soft night on the sunny, a few days before getting to Dressrosa. On this night, the strawhats decided to gather around after dinner like always. They enjoyed socializing and spending time together, telling stories and playing silly games. It was quite late so Momo was already sleeping. Everyone was on the deck enjoying some drinks and you were on the crow's nest, peaceful.

« Y/N-chaaawn~ » Screamed Sanji, making you look down. « Come have some fun with us, don't stay there on your own ! »

« - Yeah Y/N ! We're all having fun here. » Said Luffy.

You jumped gracefully from the crow's nest just like a cat. You then looked around circularly before taking place between Law and Robin as she silently made some space for you. The atmosphere was light and everyone was enjoying themselves. Zoro was drinking bottle after bottle as Sanji was screaming at him. Usopp was telling you all for the tenth time about how he took down a sea king with his little finger and Luffy and Chopper were captivated by how cool that was.

You were just silently enjoying that sense of peace till Nami asked you out of nowhere

« Oh true Y/N, I actually never asked but I am curious, why is your bounty so high ? What have you done ? »

For a second your expression changed and everyone's eyes were on you. You just decided to tell them some kind of lie and you said that you killed a celestial dragon. Everyone looked at you in awe, killing a celestial dragon means that you had to escape from admirals. You excused yourself then saying you were tired, therefore going to sleep.

After hours of partying Strawhats went to sleep. You got out of the girl's quarter wearing only a night gown. Your thoughts were waltzing since earlier's events and you were looking melancolically at the ocean. The sound of the waves was so calming, you got close to the board of the sunny, placing your elbows on the wooden surface. You didn't notice it when Law came your way, he wasn't sleeping either, his sleeping schedule was always herractic. He was still intrigued by the lie you told earlier and by your overall attitude, something about you drew him towards you like a magnet.

-(Y/N)-ya...You didn't kill a celestial dragon, did you?

His voice was low and hoarse, stealing a murmur out of your lips. Your eyes met his, gray, icy. It was the first time he said your name outloud, actually, you briefly ever interacted since he got on this ship.

-Trafalgar ?..

You were wondering why did he bring this up, he never ever showed interest in you and you in him. In fact, now that you looked at him more in detail, you could say that he was an exceptionally handsome male with soft dark hair and a gloomy but all the more seductive cast of demeanor.

He could obtain any female he wanted at a snap of his fingers. You looked away and added :

-I thought that you disliked me. Why do you even ask ?

He raised an eyebrow, but got back to his stoic expression almost immediatly. He didn't know that it showed. However, you were wrong, he was starting to get intrigued by you, by your high bounty, by the detached way you acted. He was usually the one to observe and analyse people, but something about you...He couldn't put a finger on.

-I don't like lies.

-I have my own reasons...I'm sure there are a lot of things that you want to keep secret.

You hesitated then looked his side. He seemed calm still and just shrugged, ready to go back to his spot but then you added ;

-I lied because I didn't want to involve anyone in this...When I was just a child, I was a part of a dozen kids that were selected to take part into a « government experiment »...I don't want to go into details but...you clenched your fist, eyes fixed on an imaginary point in front of you I am the only survivor of that experiment...Therefore I'm being tracked... We were given power...To this day I don't know its extent...But I know that with just a blow of my fingers I could...you gasped How could a child be granted such a power ? Why did they have to choose for me ? I didn't want any of this....I never wanted to fight, I don't want to fight. I just wanted to be normal, to have a family, to feel wanted...haha...your laugh was bitter I mean, I know that I am the most wanted person you probably met, but I didn't mean it in that way. I hope that this satisfies your curiosity, Trafalgar Law.

Your eyes met, he looked in them, deep, searching for traces of honesty. You were telling the truth, there wasn't a doubt. He liked the way his name sounded out of your lips, it was the first time that he heard these three letters murmured by you. It's as if his first name sounded different, you had that way of saying it, almost like a whisper. You looked so vulnerable in your nightgown, so fragile despite your usual arrogant carapace. The fiery tigress looked like a sweet kitten and he was surprised by the way he just wanted to reassure you. He brushed that thought quickly and added, stoic ;

-I see, why did you tell me ?

-You just asked me to, no ? I just felt like we were a bit alike...Ah. Also, quit asking me questions....This is starting to feel like a doctor examination...Now it's my turn to ask. Why do you even care ? I didn't think that the surgeon of death was such a curious person.

He scratched his chin, hesitating for a second, but then he just said bluntly ;

-The first time I saw you, I thought that you were extremely annoying.

- Ah ? you looked at him with a straight face, but still a bit offended If we're playing first impressions then...

-But I get it now.

He wasn't annoyed, in fact, he was just fascinated. It wasn't animosity that he felt but desire to know more about you. It wasn't that he was making sure that you're not endangering anyone, he wanted to look at you, it was just excuses upon excuses, rationalization for a case of irrational fascination. Now that the diagnostic was there, he could understand his emotions more clearly.

-You are talking in riddles but well...Whatever...Why did you form an alliance with Luffy by the way ? I wonder how you're able to handle all of his energy if you can't even stand mine haha.

-Let me correct you ; I don't hate you. He stops for a moment then he adds. There is a man that I would like to kill.

You turn now, back against the wooden border of the ship. You had an amused look on your face, wondering who was that man that he wanted to take down ;

-Now that's interesting ! Let me guess, who is it ?

-You are quite curious yourself, (Y/N)-ya...

He thought it was only fair, you opened up to him, he opened up to you, but telling you the details wasn't for now.

-So you are using the strawhats ?

-I am not sure who is using who. And what is your reason for joing the strawhats ?

-Luffy, you said with dreamy eyes, it's the D in his name...I have been drawn to people with this letter in their names like a magnet...I don't know...I just believe it's fate...

He was startled by your answer, so you knew about the « D » letter ? He also had this letter in his name...He just added then, with a face that didn't betray his surprise ;

-Oh , a girl like you believes in such romantic stories ?

-And what is a girl like me like ? You added, amused. I mean, apart from annoying.

-...Quit it already.

His tone was stable as always. He didn't show it but he thought that it was cute of you, how you insisted and played along. You faced him, your eyes looking right into his and you weren't one to look down, oh no. Irisis into his irisis, looking for him and digging something into him. He didn't even know what you meant by such a look, once again, feline.

The salty smell of the ocean's water mixed with the odor of your fruity perfume made that moment a bit more enjoyable and he wasn't even the type of person to enjoy chatting.

Check mate, you made up for that horrible first impression. You added then ;

-You avoided my question by the way, why wouldn't I believe in « such romantic stories » ? What do you think you know about « a girl like me » ?

You got a bit closer, amused, and he thought that it was getting a bit dangerous. You had a fake woeful look in your eyes. His limbs were filled to the brim with that ocean perfume of yours mixed with that sweet taste, and for a second it was as if that odor operated some kind of spell over him, because a surprising thought occured to his mind ; what would your lips taste like ? Certainly salty like the ocean and a tad like peaches.

Unsettled and unfocused he said ;

-Shouldn't you be sleeping ?

In reality, he didn't want these thoughts to make a nest out of his head and decided to cut the conversation quite abruptly. Your rocked your body back, almost like a child and rose your eyebrows in a semi-sarcastic semi-dramatic way.

-I'm a bit too old for a bed time don't you think, Trafalgar ?

-Just Law.

-Yes yes ! L-a-w...See you tomorrow ! You're not as uptight as I thought.

-(Y/N)-ya.

He just said your name in a strict way, probably indicating that you needed to go. His tone was firm, stop teasing already.

You looked at him with a diminishing smile, pronouncing every single letter so slowly, stretching his name on your lips so that these three tiny letters seemed endless. You tossed your hair, and something about the whole situation, about your feminine charm, something about the breeze of the night made the both of you feel unbearable tension. The type of tension that happens between a man and a woman at three in the morning, that tension that makes every little detail, every look in the eyes, every brush of the fingers feel indecent.

The eyes of a woman can't lie, his ego was stroked as he thought he had a glimpse of your hidden desire.You turned to go back to the girl's quarters, his eyes still hanged on your silhouette. ----------- I hope that you liked this first part. What I Thought About "Escaping Expulsion" From The Owl House

Salutations random people on the internet who most likely won’t read this. I am an Ordinary Schmuck. I write stories and reviews and draw comics and cartoons.

Do you wanna know what I love the most about The Owl House? The writers waste no time getting to the good stuff.

Things like Willow working things out with Amity, Lumity, Lilith's redemption, and Luz's fight with Belos are stuff that most shows would drag out and wait upon using until several seasons down the line. Most of them for the final season. And yet, it all happens in the first! The writers somehow knew what the fans exactly wanted and gave them just that before they even had to ask.

Take "Escaping Expulsion," for example, as it has some great plot points and ideas I thought would happen later in the season and maybe even near the end. But it's only episode TWO of the new season, and I'm appreciative of it for that reason alone.

But explaining the good stuff this episode delivers requires spoilers, so if you haven't watched the episode yet (even though you definitely have at this point), I recommend that you do so. Now let's review, shall we?

WHAT I LIKED

Blight Industries: Huh. I'll be the first to admit: I would have never expected that the main reason why the Blights are rich is because of their technological advancements. Large in part of how the Boiling Isles is a fantasy world, and rarely do you see technology taking place in a setting such as that. Still, points for total expectation subversion added with some pretty cool tech, I might add.

Odalia Blight: It's nice to put a face to the name I've grown to hate with a fiery passion. Now I can update my dartboard!

But to tell you the truth, it feels weird saying I like someone so vile. I mean, the woman is a manipulative, smarmy b-word who nearly killed Luz. Anybody who does that last part deserves to go on my s**t list! I despise her with the same fiery passion I've had since "Understanding Willow" premiered...and it's that reason why I like her.

Because here's the thing: Characters and people are two different things. If Odalia existed in real life, she better hope that I never meet her. But as a character whose purpose is to have the audience hate her, she succeeds with flying colors. It's the same reason why I consider it unfair to hate an episode like "Something Ventured and Someone Framed" because Mattholomule exists. I get it but understand that hating him is his purpose. It's the same with Odalia. I love her, but only because I love to hate her.

Alador Blight: Wow. I guess Alador really is the lesser of two evils.

By the way, keep in mind that I said "lesser of two evils" and not "the nice one." I don't care how adorable it is to see him get distracted by a butterfly. He's still an abusive figure who stood aside as Luz fought for her life against the Abomitron and still goes along with Odalia's plans despite how heinous they are. And whenever I remember how he treated Amity in "Understanding Willow" as well--

Also, don't make him neurodivergent so he can seem redeemable. It is painfully obvious that he is just exhausted after hours of toiling away in his lab working on his inventions to the point that his brain is beyond fried.

Now, seeing that I've dismissed the argument about how Alador is the nice one, let's actually talk about his character. Because I can see what Dana Terrace meant when she said that he's interesting. He's not explicitly as awful as Odalia, as he mostly seems to be in his own little world half the time. Despite that, Alador still shows signs of being just as dismissive of Amity in general. You see this as he focuses on how her strength shows signs of Amity being a potential coven leader instead of noticing how his daughter nearly died to his own invention. Alador doesn't manipulate, but he doesn't love his daughter in a way a father should either. I'm very intrigued by this route for his character, and I can't wait to see what is done next with him.

Amity’s Amulet: My heart sank when I realized the true purpose behind Amity's amulet. The thought that Odalia found a way to literally be in Amity's head at all times...I hate that. I mean, I love it because it's A+ storytelling and symbolism, BUT I F**KING HATE IT!

Amity in General: And seeing how we're already talking about Amity, let's dive into the fact that "Escaping Expulsion" is easily her best outing so far in the series. I say this because it really puts to the test Amity's dedication to being a part of the group. You can tell by her expressions and Mae Whitman's performance that Amity so desperately wants to help her friends, but she can't due to being afraid of her mother's wrath. Which doesn't surprise me, given what we know about Odalia so far. But what does surprise me is that Amity stands up to Odalia in this very same episode. I expected it for sure, but most likely at the end of the season, due to most shows dragging out a similar concept for drama's sake. However, as I said, the writers don't waste time giving the fans what they want. So, yeah, Amity defies her mother in the very same episode we're officially introduced to her. And it's totally believable, as Amity has been fighting her parent's control ever since Luz literally showed her the light after "Covention" (click here if you don't believe me). It's yet another impressive showcase of Amity's character development and how she's leagues ahead of other redeemable characters who would go through five more episodes like this before getting to the point.

Luz in General: But enough about Amity. For now, let's talk about the actual best character of the series!

Just like Amity, Luz is on top form in "Escaping Expulsion." She is quick to call 'applesauce' about Odalia and Alador expelling the Hex-Squad and is smart enough to figure out the deal Odalia is worming her way into making. Several people classify Luz as stupid, and while she definitely leaps before she looks at times, this episode proves that Luz isn't going to fall for the sweet talk that someone like Odalia offers. As reckless as she can be, Luz is still intelligent enough to know what someone like Odalia wants and cuts to the chase despite knowing the woman can't be trusted. Still, Luz going through with the deal anyways is fantastic character work for her as it shows her dedication to the people she cares about. It hurts my heart to see Luz get all beat up from Alador's inventions, but her willingness to put up with it for her friends is an act of service I wouldn't have expected from anyone else. "Escaping Expulsion" may be more centered around Amity, but it still proves why Luz earns her spot for one of my favorite characters.

Learning How Glyphs Work: Another solid aspect of The Owl House is that the writers find brilliant ways for world-building and explaining the rules of the Boiling Isles. Take this episode's b-plot, for instance. Eda and Lilith need to learn how to do Luz's version of magic, so having an entire section of the episode dedicated to them figuring it out is a perfect outlet to explain how glyphs work in the first place. Although, I have some tribulations with this subplot that I'll get into with the dislikes. But I still consider this a brilliant workaround to explain glyphs, even if specific executions could be handled better.

The Fairy Pie: Not only is this well-crafted dark humor, and not only is it adorable as hell, but it also shows how Amity has calmed down with her feelings toward Luz. She still blushes when handing over the fairy pie, but it is certainly more subdued in comparison to "Wing it Like Witches." I like to think the time off from her (and our) favorite weirdo helped cool down those emotions a bit, but that doesn't mean she won't get slightly flustered every now and again. Because as much as I adore seeing cool and collective, I'm still very much a fan of Disaster Amity due to how cute it is.

Principle Bump: "This character is underappreciated!"

"That character doesn't get enough love!"

YOU WANNA KNOW WHO'S UNDERAPPRECIATED AND DOESN'T GET ENOUGH LOVE?! PRINCIPAL GOSH DANG BUMP, THAT'S WHO!

So many kids' shows focus on how educators are the bad guy who treats students poorly because they love seeing children suffer. But that's not Bump! Sure, he made a misstep in "The First Day," but for the most part, he really cares for his students and hopes that they work hard to be their better selves. So when he's forced to send Luz, Gus, and Willow away, he's genuinely saddened by it to the point where he breaks down crying! On top of being wholesome, Bump missing his students is another example that a character shouldn't be written as evil just because they run a school. Sure, there are scumbag teachers and principals out there, but for others, they're a lot like Bump: People who show admiration and respect to their students rather than ridicule because a principle "just doesn't get it." And I appreciate Bump all the more for it.

Gus and Willow: It feels weird that these two basically got sidelined, especially since they have a stake in the plot as well, but it's understandable. "Escaping Expulsion" is clearly more Amity-centered, and with Luz being the main character, it would also be odd if she didn't get more of the focus than her friends. Having them do more would have been great, but what they've already accomplished is pretty decent anyway. They show how much they're on the same page as Luz when trying to figure out a way to sneak back into Hexide, Willow is still the best voice of reason when saying no one will be killed through their plans, and Gus wins the comedic highlights in the episode. While I would have loved that they did more, I'm perfectly fine with what we got. Besides, this is only episode two of Season Two. We got nineteen more episodes to go to focus on these two.

King: Ok, now, this is the version of King I like to see. A character that mocks Eda as if they're equals and acts as a reluctant voice of reason. This episode shows King more at his best and is a major step above what we've seen in "Separate Tides."

Lilith: ...Yeah, f**k it. I like Lilith.

Personally, I would have preferred seeing her dragged through the coals at least a few episodes, but that's judging the show for what I want. Not what it is. And as is...It's fine. Lilith has a great dynamic with the rest of the Owl House, it's honestly adorable seeing her refer to Luz as a teacher, and that scene where she makes presents out of ice for Hooty is all kinds of wholesome. I'd say your enjoyment of Lilith highly depends on how forgiving you are, and if you think her splitting the curse is enough of a gesture, you probably won't mind her as much. The execution of her redemption really could have used more time in the oven, but Lilith is still a decent character regardless, so what's to complain about.

Luz Making the Abomination Have a Cat Face: ...Luz...I f**king missed you.

DON'T EVER LEAVE FOR THAT LONG AGAIN!

(Also, I just love that this is all Amity needed to know Luz was in trouble)

Hop Pop Cameo: He's on the cover of one of the books Willow's dad lifts up. Which is extra cute given how Dana Terrace and Matt Braley (creator of Amphibia) are close friends in real life.

Willow’s Dad Pretending Not to See Anything: One single action defines the type of man this guy is. He's the fun and understanding dad!

Gus, Willow, and Amity Arguing How to Break In: This little quarrel just shows how much these three need Luz. Without someone to keep the peace and bring up compromises, these idiots would have just kept arguing all night.

In addition to that, this clash over ideas acts as a showcase for who these characters are. Willow is careful and smart, so she's going for the option more unlikely to get them caught. Amity is brash and to the point, so she's going for the route that gets them inside as soon as possible. And then there's Gus, who's young and naive, so his plan sounds like something out of a cartoon. The odds of any of these plans working are highly debatable, but seeing these characters with clashing personalities and ideas is a ton of fun to watch regardless.

Edric and Emira Helping: There's not much to add here. It's just another sweet scene that makes me so glad that the writers decided to make Ed and Em more like supporting characters than minor antagonists like "Lost in Language" made fans think they would be.

(Amity throwing the "Hex me" signs back at Edric is just the cherry on top).

“Stay away from my Luz!”: ...What the f**k do you want me to say that? It's f**king perfect!

Luz Catching Feelings for Amity: ...Huh. Neat.

...

...Alright, let's move on.

Luz Wanting to Take a Nap After--Yeah, I can't do it. Not even for the joke.

WAH-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOO! MU! TU! AL! PINING! AH-HAHAHA!

THIS! This is more of that good s**t I'm talking about! Due to being so used to other shows going for the slow burn when writing the endgame romance, I was expecting Luz to catch feelings halfway through the season, even at the end of it. But near the beginning?! That is something I am more than ok with!

And much like Amity standing up to her parents in this episode, Luz catching feelings this early on is totally believable. Many fans have already analyzed how Luz's love language is "Acts of Service," which I'm somewhat sure is romantic gestures. Meaning that I f**king challenge you to find a grander gesture than holding back a literal killing machine while swooping down like a knight in shining armor! Oh, wait, you can't. BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ANY!

But by far, the best--the BEST--thing that can come from this is the dramatic irony! We, the audience, know that Luz and Amity like each other, but they don't. So the constant failings as these two fools try to work out their romantic feelings for one another is something I cannot wait to see in all its glory.

This is one of the best things that could have come out of the episode, and while it doesn't mean Lumity is canon, it is definitely closer than ever before. And I'm excited about all of it!

Luz Wanting to Take a Nap After Getting Home: I adore this because there's no one way that this can be interpreted. Either it's because Luz is exhausted after nearly getting killed for the fifteenth time that month, or it's because Luz is overwhelmed about having a crush on Amity...or both. Most likely both.

Belos Wanting The Abomatrons: Wow, what an ominous ending to the episode! I'm sure it won't come into play at all in the future...The season finale is going to hurt, isn't it?

WHAT I DISLIKED

Gus’ Growth Spurt: I mean...that's just weird. Gus suddenly being almost as tall as the others is a change so jarring that I feel like an explanation other than "witch puberty" is required. I get that they wanted to explain away why Issac Ryan Brown's voice got deep this season, 'cause puberty's a b**ch. But sometimes I feel like it's best to just ignore it, like with how Phineas and Ferb or Steven Universe just goes along with the fact that VAs tend to grow up when the characters themselves remain ageless.

Eda is Kinda Stupid in this One: It's not just me, right? Because I feel like Eda is more careful in the past than she is in this episode. She's been as reckless as Luz is at times, sure, but carelessly screwing around with magic when she has no idea how it works? I can maybe see King doing that, but not Eda. Just seeing her act dumber than usual is something that doesn't sit right with me.

Lilith Explaining Her Glyph Magic: I don't mind this. Glyph magic is pretty confusing, so having Lilith explain how it works to Eda and the audience is something I can understand. My issue, however, lies in how they did this.

Why, in the name of all that is holy, would Lilith explain her theory after the fact. It would be much more natural if she explained while saving King, but doing it after comes across as more forced than it should. Which is a shame because this series is usually on point when explaining how things work in the Boiling Isles.

And...That's about all the complaints I have with this episode. Which are nothing but nitpicks and possibly personal preferences.

IN CONCLUSION

If I'm willing to forgive and forget, I would give "Escaping Expulsion" a well-earned A+. But I'm not, so it's going to be another solid A. And, I mean, if you complain about that...there's something wrong with you.

"Escaping Expulsion" delivers on quite a bit of what fans want to see on top of giving these great character moments that show why we love these casts of oddballs and weirdos. This would be one of the rare instances where Gilen becomes strong, breaking from his shell to tell you that he loves you. That you matter. And if your family won’t tell you that than by god, you’ll become one of his family.

The Orange Ray - who are you?

There’s a talk of Divine Rays of Creation online so I’d like to address the Orange Ray because everybody’s talking of Blue Rays and apparently others are sitting quiet, like non-existing ;) I’ve a feeling that I’ve covered that topic before, but I can’t find it now, so here you go, as it’s important to ‘know thyself’.

The story goes that in the beginning of the Universe, there were 3 founder flames/lights - blue (cyan), golden (yellow) and magenta. They then mixed and created other colors - green, red and blue (indigo). Then these mixed with both the founders and others to creating even more colors.

On the electromagnetic spectrum scale, violet and indigo/blue light waves are the shortest, while orange and red is the longest. Thus one may say that the Blue Rays let go of old mental stuff and teachings easily as they trust the Universe’s guidance but the Oranges and the Reds not so well as they’re need a solid proof to believe. Blue Rays may be better in telepathy and learning things from the aura, or in spirit, but Oranges would like to have a human chat and maybe sex before judging :) Not that we are underdeveloped but we just need more proofs to figure out is one walks their talk as we like stability.

Orange Ray (in the color theory) is an amalgam, a creation of the Red and Yellow Rays (if Gold Ray is involved, then Orange gets a gold glow, or sparks).

Orange is a Ray crucial for the act of creation to happen at all. Orange Ray is the energy of orgasm, the roar, the pleasure, the major transmutation of many into One, the ejection and the injection of itself into the Universe. Orange is the very essence of the blast, explosion, the Big Bang without which tension couldn’t be transmuted into calm. It is love, intimacy, passion and wit too.

Therefore, it governs the 2nd of the 7, the sacral chakra in the human body (located below the belly button where the genital zone begins inside) which corresponds with anything pleasure (sex), joy, self-confidence and life-giving. Not just giving birth to children, but also bringing a (new) life to art, projects, ideas, moving things forward by motivation and encouragement, re-doing, re-storing things to give it a new shine and meaning.

When the Red Ray brings action, tension and a need to express itself, then Orange takes it further to 1) transmute many into One, 2) release, eject & express, 3) create a thrilling joy by purification. When all these steps happen, the energy can then settle down and one can analyze everything what happened to bask in post-creation happiness, satisfaction and harmony - here comes the Yellow Ray (of the Sun in the middle of the day), and the color of solar plexus chakra too.

The color of the Sun is traditionally assigned to the masculine energy but we all know females can be masculine too (here, here!), and humans have in fact 2 energies in one body, hence the inner conflict. As angelics, we are androgynous - we’re powered by the 3rd energy which is the mix of the masculine, feminine and the divine.

Now, people who identify themselves as the Orange Rays are: self-confident, usually well grounded, open, dynamic, multi-tasking, courageous, persistent, straight-forward, honest, positive, intelligent, intellectual, electric and magnetic at the same time, usually described as ‘hot’, ‘foxy’, ‘sexy’, generally attractive to the same and opposite sexes, which often has little to do with the physical look, but rather with the vibration of the body, the heart and mind. The Oranges love anything physical made with a use of the body, hands and legs, even hips ;). They enjoy the nature (gardening, camping, hiking, eating outdoor, visiting parks).

Of human activities however, they cherish sex the most, including outdoor sex because not only it brings their inner balance back but takes them ‘home’. Oranges are ‘natural born lovers’ who almost never need to learn anything sex-related - they just come and perform as they feel they should. They are turned on easily, and experience orgasms beyond human imagination. Oranges can have orgasms without the physical stimulation too and it its thanks to their fiery imagination. When they cum, they spiritually eject themselves out of the body, planet and galaxy and into the Universe, to their ‘home’ where they feel unlimited. They are craving for intense sex and orgasms as this is the only human activity letting them reach the highest state needed for the transmutation. The Oranges can have many sexual partners but these don’t make them feel closer to ‘god’. It’s because the Orange Rays are craving for that one and only to invest their precious, sacred powers into, the Perfect Lover who is also the boyfriend, the husband, the best friend, who stays put, is always available and enjoys passion as much as they do, etc etc. (Thus we got a Twin-Flame, to fire up as two!) It is best when said love making comes in a stable relationship, with trust and love but the Oranges can explode also during a one night stand, considering the lover is a trusted, direct and playful ‘professional’ who not only plays with the Oranges intellectually but understands their body language as well. Don’t forget about oils, candles, quiet music, massage and incense sticks. The spiritual self-ejection into the Universe lets the Orange Rays become that true sacred orange power without limiting requirements, addictions, templates, rules and regulations of the human world.

The Oranges scream loudly when they make love, but also sing aloud when they are home alone to release that constantly burning fire. If for whatever reason they cannot make love, they always ‘do’ something instead since ‘not doing’ makes them feel neurotic. They get frustrated when the Chi energy doesn’t have a creative outlet. They are very practical however and won’t make things which then they couldn’t utilize - thus they want to re-do, re-store, re-produce, then sell or at least share to hear some applause in return. They enjoy multiplying things creatively. If they buy anything or invest money in, they want to retrieve that money in any other form later on.

The Oranges are often artists, philosophers, tradesmen, business people, teachers, explorers, travelers, and/or sportsmen as they love motion (of a body or thought), yet moving on their own - exploring on foot, bike, to feel their own body strength and muscles’ effort. They love seeing things in motion too - car racing, ice skating, horse riding, a carrousel, a machine etc. but they prefer to participate in action. They have a natural ADHD symptoms which is in fact high body vibration. They are impatient but persistent which counter-weights the former and lets them achieve goals. If the goal however doesn’t materialize fast, they leave it for another time as they have no patience for waiting. The fire must burn! They bring the fire through practical, yet original ideas but they don’t have enough of patience to release them, so these must be continued by somebody who has a solid plan and more endurance. In fact, the Orange Rays could do well by selling ideas only.

The Orange Ray people are known for the self-talk which keeps them in touch with their Higher Self and confirms their best choices, but they also love talking directly to others, inducing plants, animals, insects and even items. The Oranges somewhat hate the sound of the telephone as they are afraid of anything sudden - usually unpleasant news which could disturb their inner balance, considering that it was a hard task to balance the fire. They love anything what tastes sweet (like sweet wine, dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream etc.) and very spicy too. The Oranges enjoys seeing beautiful sights - views from the mountain, dancing flames of a bonfire, sunsets, wastelands, deserts, space and freedom, hot sunshine, hot winds, hot air, hot water, and anything which makes their tense muscles in the back, thighs, sacral and root chakras (and the brain!) relax.

They love the feel during the sunset when the orange light covers everything - they then feel united with All That Is, safe and exclusively loved by the Sun at that very moment. They often paint their room orange to mimic and surround themselves with such a burning light and express own shine too. In astronomy, an orange star often means a dying star which may also bring memories of a star the Orange Rays might have lived near by and which might exploded in the distant past bringing an end to their existence. Orange light however carries deep, sacral love and thus the dying star also emanates it. A connection with the Sun, also with orange, giant stars like Betelgeuse, Antares, Arcturus, Aldebaran, and with orange rock and soil, volcanoes and lava, with Mars and/or Venus feels natural to these Orange human-angelics.

The Orange Rays cannot stand uncertainty, lack of knowledge and safety, instability, chaos, and poor life conditions. They dislike cold weather, cold winds, rain and cold water overall. Skin & joints are sensitive. Mentally, they cannot cope with enslavement, a lack of freedom of choice, sadness, sickness (own or anybody around), and they hate the low vibration overall. Very sensitive thus very reactive to sounds, colors, fragrances, forms, shapes, and said motion. The Oranges are naturally egocentric and run away from anything unpleasant as means to protect themselves from disturbance because they know it takes much of their inner power and time to make them re-balanced. They know themselves very well as they listen to their bodies, hearts and minds. If they run, it means they felt their inner harmony greatly endangered.

They are somewhat persistent to stay in the same environment for many years if they don’t find anything better as they don’t like changes, even-though they are natural energy transmuters. Transmutation through the Orange Ray is an ultimate, complete, a non-revertible experience, so the Orange knows he/she can burn out quickly if they overload their powers. That’s why adult Orange Rays are aware (through past experiences) to not engage foolishly into changing things for others, and giving them own power, if such individuals neither want a change, nor asked for help. The Oranges hate making mistakes. Every adult Orange Ray’s decision comes after lots of thinking, analysis and testing because they want to take only one action, to invest only once and well, then be at least 95% satisfied and feel secure. This is not natural, but self-taught after receiving a few bitter life lessons. The Oranges are as impulsive as Red Rays, with the difference that the Reds like keeping things for themselves, but the Oranges love sharing. Orange Rays don’t like taking a risk but are brave when they face an emergency situation, and then often lead other people telling them what to do, and fast! They turn into an adviser, motivator, protector and warrior.

If Orange Rays cannot express themselves, they get bipolar - angry and frustrated, blaming and hating everybody around for own pity, often becoming self-destructive. Then if anything finally lets them have fun, they may exaggerate or become addicted easily. Orange hates anything cold, but they’re somewhat attracted to places unavailable to them or to reserved people, as if they wanted to test themselves, to try to melt any resistance or ice away. Oranges are put off by rabble, rudeness, arrogance, stupidity, manipulation, cruelty, slavery and blindness.

The biggest advantage of being born as the Orange Ray is that you force yourself to move on after every failure because you hate that stuck energy within. You always find that one more hope, thinking that when you do things differently the next time, then you will finally achieve what you desired. You transmute everything from shallow into high, more advanced, and certainly happier. You bring fire, motivation, action into places and into people’s vibration even if you don’t interact with these. You bring hope. It’s enough that you are amongst the people or in places (which also emanate energy) and shine with your golden sparks, vibrant energy and the inner heat. You simply make depressed people stand up and move on; believe that things must be improved.

At some point, Oranges realize they came from the Sun (or Sun-like stars) and they can radiate such a physical heat too. It is important they become aware they are a sun within and they can heat themselves up anytime they want which warmth will keep them positive, away from fears and worrying.

The Orange folks serve as conductors to let raw energies from Gaia flow into the Universe, and vice versa. They do it through own bodies, by filtering, rejecting the bad and weak, letting only the best, most valuable and the strongest vibration pass through. That’s why they have to find a way, of even few ways to release, trash the transmutation process ‘leftovers’ to keep the ‘furnace’ clean. Leaving a soot in a chimney is dangerous, as it can catch fire easily! :)

Life mission of Orange Rays is to believe and trust in themselves and support own self-confidence. It’s because they are open which is great, but they may be prone to other people’s influence at times of weakness, when they run on low energy or were contacted by low vibration, or transmuted too much of raw energy. The Oranges can become very depressed as they sometime think like a victim, that if bad things happen to them it’s only about them, as if they were chosen to suffer while others have the right to be free and happy at the same time.

Angelic, unearthly beings related to he Orange Rays are Seraphim and Ophanim, Powers, elementals (ie. Fire Djinns), Dragons, Phoenix, and others who use the element of the Sun, electricity, lightning and fire as their core power (though humans with the essences of ie. Seraphim can also resonate with other colors as well).

When it comes to helpful minerals and gemstones, the Orange Rays will benefit from are those gems which rise and/or protect high vibration (antophyllit, black shiva lingam, vanadite, ruby, red and green garnets, red corral, septarians, pink and brecciated jaspers), anchor own energy (black torumaline, hematite, jasper kambaba), allow for the Universe’s & Gaia’s energy transmutation (black tektite, black onyx, sodalite), keep the mind active, balanced and confident (orange, fire and red calcites, and also calcite with rutile), keep the blood flowing well and digestion stable (agate carnelian, red jasper, hematite, bloodstone, danburite, orange opal, yellow jasper, unakite, tiger’s eye, citrine). Blue and green soothing stones like blue & green calcites, angelite, chrysocola, turquoise, aquamarine, including also white, pink and yellow opals, stilbite and celestine will let them sleep well :) Self-confidence and inner trust will be protected by tiger’s eye, mookait jasper, snowflake and Apache tears obsidians (the latter will siphon all worries and detach from unhappiness, clean them in water sometime). Sodalite will let the Orange Rays detach from the earthy plane to explore the outer zones through their higher heart and the mind’s eye. Red Garnet is perfect to keep the sexual stamina balanced and in place.

When it comes to fashion, the Orange Rays look the best when they underline their natural dynamics, thus sporty clothes may do. Orange also brings authority and leadership so both men and women look good in official suits, or even regimentals. Colors which may make the Orange feel more in tune with themselves are, obviously, orange, but also red, gold and golden, dark or pale green, dark blue, indigo, brown, and brick-like colors too. White will underline their inner independence. Black is the best contrast but only when composed with red or orange as too much of black subdues the Orange Ray’s inner fire and outer shine. The Oranges may avoid magenta and pink colors which damage their natural vibration, and light blue which makes them feel like conflicted, cold, caged and muted. Purple may or may not look good on the Oranges, depending on their physical body traits. It’s always all up to your own preference and feel.

Finally, do Orange Rays mix well with opposite colors? I don’t know. It may be that Twin Flames come from the 2 color ‘families’ - one major which lets them feel the same vibration within and which pulls them together (two Orange or Blue rays, or the ‘closest neighbors’ on the electromagnetic light scale - Orange and Red, Blue and Violet, Green and Yellow), and the other color is added as an opposite to make one twin trigger the other and teach something else ;) Ie. an Orange-Blue + Red-Indigo Rays couple, etc. I’m not en expert in these, but I know I’m Orange-Golden with some traits of Blue or Indigo and my twin is definitely one of the Indigo as not only he loves blue (I don’t) but he also creates art & music so this means he has the Orange or Red Ray’s influence.

Love Live! Perfect Dream Project: Member Profiles [Translation]

The new PDP members’ profiles were released! I tried my best to translate them~ I’m still new to Japanese (and to translation), so please let me know if there are errors.

Each girl has a brief bio and a message from them (called “意気込みコメント”, roughly “enthusiasm/passion comment”). The names are in the Western-style order: [given name] [family name].

Ayumu Uehara

A second-year at Nijigasaki High School. She's a hardworking person who puts her all into everything she does. She started as a school idol because someone invited her.

Nice to meet you, everyone. I'm Ayumu Uehara. Uh, since this is the first time I've written up a message that can reach everyone like this, I'm a little nervous, and my heart is beating quickly. But, since being a school idol is a dream that I want to reach for with an important friend, I'll live up to my name, and we'll try our best at making our way—step by step—towards fulfilling this dream! [TL note: taken a character at a time, “Ayumu” literally translates to “step-dream”.] I still don't have much experience with singing or dancing, and my looks are rather... ordinary? I'm Rina Tennoji. A very cute girl. Really! But, since I don't like showing emotions on my face, I always give off an antisocial vibe. [TL note: originally, I translated “I’m not good at” as “I don’t like”. Same Japanese word, less context.] So I thought up a solution. A secret item for communicating my feelings to everyone. It's called the "Rina-chan Board". On this board, I'll draw faces to show what I feel. Yes, this is perfect. I think I can share my feelings with everyone at live shows with this. Eh? MARTA LUALDI DEFENSE / APPRECIATION POST.

Strap yourselves in because I’m not being polite this time.

I can’t even begin to articulate how exhausting it is to see people constantly rehash the same "Marta is a flawed / bad character, she constantly gets jealous, obsessive, etc. etc. etc." spiel. What makes this more upsetting is when people who actually do like Marta somehow adopt some of these misinterpretations (in my opinion) as canon, which only opens up the door to more hate on this girl.

I’ll be the first to admit that Marta Lualdi is a flawed character. But you know what? She is way more than those flaws and she overcomes most, if not all of them by the end of the game. Reducing a character down to traits they showed for maybe 2/8ths of their screen time is unfair and wrong.

Let’s backpedal for a minute and remind ourselves that Marta is sixteen years old. She lost her mother when she was 14, due to the Giant Tree destroying her hometown - Palmacosta was called "a reflection of death itself" in the Successors of Hope novel. It also says, “With the destruction of Palmacosta, the happiness she [Marta] knew came to a crashing end.” Remember that even before it was destroyed, Palmacosta was fighting the threat of the Desians, and if you recall they were the only city in Sylvarant openly opposing them despite Magnius constantly terrorizing the city. It’s important to realize that THAT is the environment Marta came out of, the place she grew up in.

After losing her mother and hometown, her father lost his mind and started an organization that’s dead set on murdering the Tethe’allans and taking over the world. She’s a sixteen year old girl on the run with only Tenebrae by her side, while she’s being hunted down by a literal army. Oh, and half of that organization actually doesn’t care about capturing her, and is actually trying to kill her instead as they’re loyal to the Richter and/or Alice faction. And there’s no way to tell which side is which. But if the side who wants to capture her succeeds? They’ll force her to take part in genocide.

But Marta is immature, right? She’s self centered and stupid, right? She didn’t choose to stand up against her last surviving family member and try to protect the world by herself since no one else could be trusted, right?

Also, Marta is a Sylvaranti. Plenty of Tethe’allans have bullied her and harassed her for simply being born on the ‘wrong’ planet. They’ve called her dirt and treated her like garbage. That’s who she’s protecting, here. The people who do everything they can to make her feel like nothing. Marta gets attacked by a Tethe’allan, thrown against the stone pavement so hard her head starts bleeding, while trying to protect a little Sylvaranti boy in the Successors of Hope novel. She’s willing to put her life on the line for them because she believes that not every Tethe’allan is bad, and that the relationship between the worlds is worth mending.

Now, after everything she’s dealt with up until now, she meets Emil. And SHE saves HIM, since, as we’ve established, protecting people is basically her job now. And what happens after? He doesn’t remember her, so she brushes him off. She says she needs to go - 'I’m in a hurry.’ She tells him. ‘I’m Marta. Is that it?’

EMIL is the one who asks what her name is and stops her. Then he goes after her and gives her a chance to flee from Richter. He makes a pact with Ratatosk to protect her. I think it’s pretty clear that he goes beyond what ‘helping someone out’ entails. It’s especially weird, considering Emil hears Richter call Ratatosk a ‘demon lord.’ He was still willing to go out of his way to protect her, which says something about Emil, but also says something about why Marta was immediately attached to him.

She’s been on the run, with no where to turn to; she can’t trust anyone, since they’re all out to capture her or behead her. Then Emil shows up. He’s kind, and he vows to protect her and keep her safe. He becomes a KNIGHT OF RATATOSK for her. Sounds pretty fairy tale-esque, don’t you think?

Then Emil’s family and home is put in danger. She’s been there, she’s seen it happen first hand, twice (first with the Giant Tree and then with the Blood Purge). And she takes the blame for it, for everything the Vanguard has done. She doesn’t get mad at him for saying it’s her fault. She accepts responsibility and willingly goes to her death. She’s willing to give up Ratatosk’s core to the church, who she thinks will at least keep it safe from the Vanguard, and die to save Luin. That happens in the FIRST CHAPTER OF THE GAME. It’s basically the tutorial, and Marta is establishing herself as selfless and kind.

Emil saves her from being killed when the church doesn’t stop its attack, but she tells him to stop attacking Magnar, even after he tried to behead her, when Emil goes into Ratatosk Mode ( ‘That’s enough Emil, stop it!’ ). She has very clear morals, and she doesn’t like seeing anyone hurt - also, she knows EMIL doesn’t want to hurt anyone either.

She does fawn over him, but Emil doesn’t stop her. He talks with Tenebrae about how he feels about it, but not with Marta. He willingly holds her hand in Asgard, but when he is VISIBLY embarrassed/awkward about it, she lets go. She’s not trying to make him uncomfortable, and when she can see that he is, she drops whatever she’s doing to try to make up for it. She may get carried away, but at the end of the day she tries her best to be considerate. That fact needs to stop getting overlooked.

Alright, now with the Colette confrontation. Marta openly states in the Journal that she’s confused, she doesn’t know how to feel about the Chosen. She doesn’t think she’s the type to abandon the world, but in Marta’s eyes she basically told her to her face that she let Marta’s mother die. She ran away, for no explainable reason, other than the rumor that she chose Tethe’alla over Sylvarant.

Remember that it was the loss of her mother that changed her father, and what more or less prompted him to form the Vanguard (thus causing the situation she’s in now). Colette didn’t explain herself, though since the truth behind World Regeneration seems to be a secret, it’s likely that she couldn’t share the truth with Marta at that time. Marta seems to pick up on the fact that there’s more to the story, which is why she is able to more or less become quick friends with her. She’s not the type of person Marta dislikes - she’s kind, and she tries her best to help others no matter what dangers she faces. She willingly rushed in to protect Marta and Emil from Alice and the Vanguard, knowing that they’re after her, after all. It’s similar to what Marta herself does numerous times throughout the game. You can read my analysis of Marta’s feelings regarding Colette here.

Later, with Colette, she asks if she likes Emil - Colette, not really understanding what Marta really meant, says she does. She doesn’t tell Colette she can’t like him or give her the cold shoulder, she’s just surprised and says she won’t lose. It’s only in a skit that she acts that way, though. Marta doesn’t really acknowledge it afterwards, only getting a bit jealous when Emil later says that Colette was soothing to be around. She tried to fish for compliments from him before and got nothing, but then he casually complimented Colette. Given that he’s her only friend in the world (besides her confusing relationship with Colette), and she has a puppy crush on him, I think it’s pretty understandable why it would make her feel not so great inside.

Also, I have gone on about this before, but we find out very late in the game that Marta is afraid of heights. Even so, she willingly crawls across a very narrow platform to save a little boy, while Alice tries to kick her off it. Alice says herself that if she falls, she’ll die. So it’s high enough up that the drop would cause instant death. Scary for anyone, let alone someone with a fear of heights. Again, she’s doing this in chapter two. You can read my analysis of that particular incident here.

When Emil and Marta end up in Iselia, Emil is extremely agitated from the get go. He makes rude comments, and has an overall bad attitude since it’s Lloyd’s hometown. Marta lost people too, and Lloyd took Lumen’s core, but she chooses to be the bigger person for the sake of their objective. Emil isn’t acting like the gentle, kind boy he usually is (which is why she can be so fiery and passionate usually - since they’re not both being hotheaded), so she takes the role of the calm, collected one and does most of the talking with the townspeople. She gives people a chance to show their character before she makes judgement. Even Emil, whose signature trait is being kind, isn’t able to do that due to his resentment towards Lloyd.

When Emil finally tells her he doesn’t like the way she treats him (like a prince, etc.) she owns up to it and vows to change. She takes legitimate personal criticism and applies it immediately, and that’s hard to do. After that she gets defensive when anyone even suggests her and Emil are more than friends, since he told her it bothered him. And you know what? It’s Emil who decides he doesn’t like it.

After that, Emil is the one who Tenebrae notes is jealous throughout the game. When Emil dejectedly asks if Marta prefers rich guys like Regal, Tenebrae says that his “petty jealousies” can wait. Marta nervously asks if Emil has a crush on her, but he says no in a panic and she lets the conversation end there. She tries to ask about what he said later, but he exclaims it wasn’t important at all, and she quietly accepts it. Emil definitely sends her mixed signals, so I don’t think her inability to completely give up on him is entirely her fault.

Despite having the weight of the world on her, and trying to deal with being a sixteen year old with a crush, Marta still did her best to take what Emil said to her to heart. She changes her view and without meaning to, starts to love the true Emil. And she tells him that. She tells him, “I think that the real you is much, much cooler than the fantasy I had in my mind.” She acknowledges her flaws in this same scene but by this point, has actually already overcome a lot of them.

Marta’s true defining trait in the game up is being caring, and kind, NOT being obsessive, jealous, clingy, etc. as much of the “fanon” portrays her as being. She looks out for Emil, defends him and encourages him to grow at his own pace. She tells him that looking out for others (even Richter and the monsters he fights) and caring about them is okay and that he shouldn’t feel bad about it. He confides in her more than anyone and she comforts him. When she sees that Emil is struggling or not feeling well it’s Marta that has the party take a break so he can rest.

But Marta cares about others, too, not only Emil. She cares about her friends and even strangers. And she’s not afraid to stand up for them if someone says something unkind, even if that person is Emil. When he goes too far she calls him on it. Whether or not he’s in Ratatosk Mode, she has no problems telling him that he needs to cool his jets and be more considerate. She goes as far as to slap Ratatosk Mode Emil in the Temple of Lighting when he says he doesn’t care about Rilena or the fact that she’s trapped with Decus and could be in danger.

I’ll admit that I don’t exactly think that was the best way to go about it, but up till this point in the game Ratatosk Mode Emil made light of other people’s lives and showed no sign of stopping. She didn’t lay her hands on him again, but afterwards opted to give him the silent treatment which proved very effective on him. It was her way of forcing him to open his eyes and see that other people’s lives have value. And it worked. This was a turning point in the game for Ratatosk Mode Emil to start taking other people’s lives more seriously. The Summon Spirit Ratatosk said he wanted to destroy mankind and that he didn’t care about individual people’s lives; Marta Lualdi was the one who changed that. Her kindness and compassion for other people inspired that in him.

She is gentle and reassuring no matter who he is, Emil or Ratatosk, and even when he wonders if he was Aster, she tells him that it doesn’t matter. The person she met and traveled with is real, and nothing could ever take that away. Marta is Emil’s pillar of support, his strength when his own fails him. He acknowledges that as her role in his life. The misinterpretation of Emil thinking Marta is clingy and annoying and that’s it has got to stop. He didn’t even think that of her in the beginning of the game, before all her true character development began.

I’ve already noted how Marta was willing to sacrifice herself in chapter 2, but she does so again in Altamira. She’s willing to die to save the city, and she doesn’t even hesitate. She thinks about saving the innocent people first; saving herself comes after, no sooner. Even when she’s forced to leave so that the Vanguard doesn’t capture her, she can’t bring herself to stay in Mizuho and endanger the people there. She makes the decision to go and fight her last surviving family member and stop him herself. She says that she’s afraid, but she’ll go anyway. If that isn’t true bravery and fortitude, I don’t know what is. Marta Lualdi is anything but weak. She is just as much a hero as Emil or any of the original cast.

She’s even willing to try to help Decus, her enemy, because she doesn’t want him to have to suffer under the affects of the Centurion’s Core. She has her suspicions that it may be a trap, but she goes anyway because she would rather be betrayed than leave him to lose his mind if it was the truth. In the end it was a trap and she was captured and brought to Brute, but she makes the most out of the opportunity and tries to reason with him one last time. When it fails, she steels herself and prepares for it to come to blows. This sixteen year old girl had to face her own father turning his staff against her. And she toughed it out for the greater good. She embodies strength and resilience, not obsessive behavior.

She acknowledges the fact that she relied on others a lot in her past, but that she’s grown. That’s not who she is at the end of the game, and she knows it, even if Alice doesn’t. Marta very clearly is insecure (“I half expected you to be relieved that this annoying girl was finally out of your hair.” in the Temple of Ice), and that’s very likely at least partly due to Alice’s insults and jabs, so it means a lot that she’s able to realize her own growth.

She was strong enough to kill Alice to protect Emil, which even Alice thought she would never do - maybe not because she didn’t have the strength physically, but that she couldn’t do it morally or have the mental strength to go through with it. She never wanted to hurt Alice and Decus, even after all the terrible things they had done and all the personal attacks Alice directed towards her. But she did it. She immediately feels the guilt for it, and even wonders if she’s any better than Alice for being willing to do what she did; Tenebrae (constantly called insensitive) is the one who comforts her, saying she fought out of love for others while Alice fought out of love for herself.

Marta, in the end, is the one who sees through Emil’s act and realizes that he wasn’t being controlled by Ratatosk. Many times throughout the series its HER who realizes the truth, or senses that something’s up. She’s highly observant and intuitive, she’s by no means stupid. She has street smarts and actually knows a lot about the world from all the traveling she’s done (before & during the game).

Despite not being responsible for what the Vanguard did, as she actively took actions against it and left before they started being increasingly violent, she still states in the ending that she intends to pay for her “crimes.” She vows to bring peace to the world by finding a way to make the Tethe’allans accept the Sylvaranti. She literally says she’s going to devote her life to being a peace maker. I have no doubt that Emil coming back in the “true” ending wouldn’t change that plan of hers at all.

I’d also like to point out that all the while, throughout the entire game, what is Marta doing in the Journal? She writes about half of it, and along with writing down their adventure, she’s supporting Emil, as his best and closest friend and confidant above all else. She’s doing her best to encourage him and tell him that she thinks he’s okay just the way he is. He doesn’t have to change. She leaves little notes checking up on him, making sure he knows she’s rooting for him and has her full confidence.

And she doesn’t think anything of it, it’s just natural. Because in her mind, that’s what you DO when you’re friends with someone. You support them, encourage them, and be kind to them. You are there for them no matter what and you defend them at all costs. She thinks EMIL is kinder than her and wants to be more like him. Emil thinks MARTA is kinder than him and wants to be more like her.

Marta Lualdi is the kind, caring girl who said, “Emil's saved me so many times. I want to do the same for him.”

Marta Lualdi is the wise, worldly girl who said, “Those who rely only on power will be doomed because of power.”

Marta Lualdi is not the obsessive, jealous, self centered girl that “fanon” makes her out to be. Period.

Type Six ( The Loyalist )

Until they can get in touch with their own inner guidance, Sixes are like a ping-pong ball that is constantly shuttling back and forth between whatever influence is hitting the hardest in any given moment. Because of this reactivity, no matter what we say about Sixes, the opposite is often also as true. They are both strong and weak, fearful and courageous, trusting and distrusting, defenders and provokers, sweet and sour, aggressive and passive, bullies and weaklings, on the defensive and on the offensive, thinkers and doers, group people and soloists, believers and doubters, cooperative and obstructionistic, tender and mean, generous and petty—and on and on. It is the contradictory picture that is the characteristic “fingerprint” of Sixes, the fact that they are a bundle of opposites.

Neutral Good

Characters of neutral good alignment believe that there must be some regulation in combination with freedoms if the best is to be brought to the world--the most beneficial conditions for living things in general and intelligent people in particular. Characters of this alignment see the cosmos as a place where law and chaos are merely tools to use in bringing life, happiness, and prosperity to all deserving people. Order is not good unless it brings this to all; neither is randomness and total freedom desirable if it does not bring such good.

Neutral goods value both personal freedom and adherence to laws. They feel that too many laws may unnecessarily restrict the freedom of good beings. They also believe that too much freedom may not protect society as a whole and encourage counterproductive divisions and in-fighting. They promote governments which hold broad powers, but do not interfere in the day-to-day lives of their citizens.

These characters value life and freedom above all else, and despise those who would deprive others of them. Neutral good characters sometimes find themselves forced to work beyond the law, yet for the law, and the greater good of the people. They are not vicious or vindictive, but are people driven to right injustice. Neutral good characters always attempt to work within the law whenever possible, however.

To a neutral good person, life and the assurance of other people’s rights take precedence over all else. This is not to say that this character will have an aversion to taking another's life when faced with a choice between an attacker's and his own, however. Neither numbers nor individual concerns have any bearing on decisions regarding the needs and rights of any given peoples. In other words, in the view of a neutral good person, rarely will either the needs of the many or the personal desires of an individual outweigh the needs of any other person. All life is given even-handed treatment. As with all alignments neutral with respect to law and chaos, self-reliance is a cornerstone of a neutral good being's personality. In a crunch, neutral good characters trust in themselves and in no other individual or group. This doesn't mean they can't make friends and develop trusting relationships with others, however. Neutral good beings aren't normally as independent as chaotic good beings, and they can cooperate in groups. But they won't always trust a group to be more effective than they could be themselves.

A neutral good character will keep his word to those who are not evil and will lie only to evil-doers. He will never attack an unarmed foe and will never harm an innocent. He will not use torture to extract information or for pleasure. He will never kill for pleasure, only in self-defense or in the defense of others. A neutral good character will never use poison. He will help those in need and works well alone or in a group. He responds well to higher authority until that authority attempts to use the law to hamper his ability to do good. He is trustful of organizations as long as they serve his utilitarian purpose. He will follow the law unless more good can come from breaking the law. He will never betray a family member, comrade, or friend. Neutral good characters are indifferent to the concepts of self-discipline and honor, finding them useful only if they promote goodness.

Melancholic

Your temperament is melancholic. The melancholic temperament is fundamentally introverted and thoughtful. Melancholic people often were perceived as very (or overly) pondering and considerate, getting rather worried when they could not be on time for events.
