this is such a non-issue but I find it a bit funny when fans assign teachers/mentors a parental role when, most of the time, those characters are actually rlly good representations of what it means to be a good teacher/mentor, I’m thinking about aizawa sensei btw but it’s also funny when people call gojo mengumi’s dad because I personally don’t read him as paternal at ALL but to each their own ofc :)

your daughter looked up at eri as she taught the younger girl how to style hair clips and accessories. your daughter was just over a year old, curious about things but not good with coordination, so eri enjoyed being the big sister and teaching her all about fashion. and who was the model for her cosmetology lessons? none other than your husband, shota. there was nothing his girls couldn’t get away with, so he sat patiently as he graded work on the floor as they tugged and pulled on his black locks. every once in a while there was a wince or grimace on his face because they weren’t that gentle, but he didn’t say anything. you silently laughed watching them from across the room, thinking that you couldn’t have chosen a better man.

the habitual babbling of your little boy rang through the kitchen. you looked up at the clock because you knew your boyfriend would be coming home around this time. it seemed your son was starting to get a sense of time by figuring out when his dad came back everyday. and just as planned, the front door flew open, and a rush of red flew in front of you, straight to the highchair as keigo lifted your son. the air was instantly filled with giggles and kisses as the hero greeted his pride and joy. for a minute you were an afterthought, going back to your work until he gave you a few sweet kisses in greeting, son still in his arms.

“can we have a girl next?” he asked and you smiled at him sarcastically.

your husband emerged from the room, holding a freshly changed daughter on his hip who was muching happily on a clean diaper.

“she started it.” he grumbled and you rolled your eyes at his beef with an eight month old. “anyway, i—ow, shit!”

your daughter had bit his shoulder, obviously preferring her dad over the diaper.

“i’m home!” you called but got no reply. you kicked off your shoes and went searching for your boys, only to find them in your bedroom. both were napping on the bed, dabi curled his body around his son as if to protect him from the world. your little boy had one hand grasping his dad’s shirt tightly, the other grabbing at dabi’s mouth, some fingers having pulled his lip down a bit. your heart melted at the sight, and you immediately sighed. your instinct was to curl up with them and hold them, but you couldn’t bring yourself to disturb them so you just watched fondly for a couple minutes before dabi’s eyes naturally fluttered open. he blinked a bit before noticing you.

“if he doesn’t get his hand out of my mouth i’m burning him.”

(Name) was an absolute precious little guy, always following one of his dad's when he could and trying to help in the best way he could with such little hands as the two adults tried to include him in their day to day, currently on maternity leave to acclimate (name) better.

"Yaaay! Good job!" Kirishima congratulated (name) as the babe put his plastic bowl in the dishwasher, (name) beaming at this and hugged his dad's neck for comfort "were getting ready to meet some people, they're your aunt's and uncles and are very excited to meet you" when their friends learned if their tiny pup they practically exploded with excitement, mina taking everything within herself to not bust down that door to see the pup.

(Name) held the Dynamite toy close, either that or an old sweater of Kirishimas that the babe saught comfort from, a quick Google search showed Omegan pups saught comfort from their parents items it was early stages of a familial bond settling in.

Bakugo was the one to collect the little one after his nap, the aunts and uncles sitting in the livingroom to meet him "hey squirt, it's time to wake up" they changed the crib to a toddler bed when (name) tried climbing out, the little one starfished with a cute pair of pajamas on "nnh" the boy grunted as Katsuki huffed and gently lifted him "come on you" the boy nuzzling into his dad's shirt as he was brought out to the livingroom "(name), can you say hi?" Katsuki was surprisingly soft with the pup who looked confused and face had marks from the sheets "awww he's so little!" Mina gushed as she stood up and (name) clung to his dad nervously "slowly mina, he's shy" Eijiro said watching his sons movements.

The itty bitty pup looked nervous as Katsuki spoke to him "this is your aunt, she's a bit annoying but she's not gonna hurt you"

Carefully he set (name) down, the boy fidgeting before running to his other dad for protection, the redhead holding his stuffed doll "awww he has a dynamite toy!" Ochaco cooed and they watched (name).

Eventually everyone began chatting and (name) grew more comfortable and began wandering around as he normally did as he noticed the snacks on the table, things the others brought "oh look he's staring at the (treat)" denki snicked as the babe reached out and grabbed a handful, little hands getting messy in the process "well at least he likes it" Momo said as the dad's looked at each other and Katsuki cleaned him up and Eijiro got the boy a small serving "so how's being a parent?" Iida asked as he sipped his tea, glancing at the pup "he keeps trying to make nests everywhere, we don't think he knows what he's doing though" Eijiro chuckled as he let (name) get comfortable in his lap.

Later on came his former teachers + Eri and Shinsou, the two tagging along.

Katsuki saw the two as his own parents, his real parents and him had.. a hard relationship.

His mom and him never got along and when he showed up with Eiji... That went bad fast, he was seventeen at that point.

He hadnt even graduated yet.

His dad loved him but being an Omega, he couldn't really go against his alphas word but did send letters to him in secret.

After that Aizawa stepped up, using his custody over Bakugo and taking care of him and by proxy so did Yamada, the men treating him like a son.

"Hi little listener" Yamada was soft with the pup as Aizawa looked at the two fondly, Eri chatting with kirishima about her classes and her plans to join U.A under recommendations by not one but multiple heroes.

"Oh? Thanks..." Shinsou was awkward around children and when (name) handed him a Cheeto he wasn't expecting it to be so...soggy "you don't gotta eat that, just walk to the kitchen and toss it" kirishima whispered and the other man nodded and did so.

"Hello there" little (name) reached to the black haired man who had the forethought to have his hair put up "you can smell I'm an Omega" Aizawa smiled softly as (name) sniffed his face and bounced slightly "omegas feel calm with other omegas" he explained "safety in numbers sort of deal"

(Name) smushed his face, a silly baby attempt at scenting "I think he thinks I'm apart of his pack"

"Well you are" Eri said simply and everyone smiled at the interaction.

"Minas gonna be pissed that he's getting this and she's not"

When everyone left, (name) was tuckered out "he sure enjoyed those snacks"

"He's so sleepy" kirishima gently traced the boys face "let's get him to bed yeah?"

Thinking about Dadzawa giving his daughter away at her wedding.

Being anxious all day, swallowing down tears as Present Mic is openly sobbing, crying that his little girl is all grown up.

Him tapping away anxiously on his fake leg, a nasty habit you usually tap his hand for.

Putting on his suit as you pop your head round the hotel room door, smiling widely when you see him dressed to the nines for your big day. Hizashi sobs, hugging you both tightly. Aizawa holds you as closely as possible, pressing a small peck to the top of your head. You scamper off tearfully to your makeup stylist, and your fathers don’t see you until it’s time to give you away.

You chose for Aizawa to walk you down the aisle. As much as you love Hizashi, he has a nasty problem of bawling his eyes out. Aizawa was struggling to keep it in though. Finally seeing you in your dress, hair and makeup done perfectly.

He has to choke back a gasp. His baby girl looked so perfect. So much like your mother. Onyx eyes brimmed with red as he moves a stray hair out of your face. Holds you close to him one last time before he gives you away to Bakugou, who was equally as wet in the eyes.

Slowly walking towards the aisle, chest feeling so constricted with pride? Fear? No. He knows just how much Bakugou loves you, and just how much he would die for you, as your father would do the same.

He gives you away with a final hug and a loving forehead kiss, murmuring that he’s so proud of you, before shooting Bakugou a glare that clearly said “hurt my daughter and I’ll rip your throat out”. Bakugou clearly gets the message by holding you close as Eri brings the rings.

He sits with Hizashi, struggling to keep it in. Despite his husband not being able to control his emotions, he simmers down and holds his husband’s hands. His fingers trace gently after their own wedding bands, fond memories of toddler you being their ring-bearer in their own wedding that they had in their living room.

Finally lets the tears fall when the priest allows you to kiss, dabbing his one good eye as he follows everyone to the reception.

Despite his hatred for public attention, he sways with you for the first of two daddy-daughter dances. He still hasn’t been able to stop his tears leaking as you look at him with your own misted orbs. He murmurs to you that you’ll always be his little girl, that you’ll always be welcome in his home.

Aizawa hates that you’re growing up so fast, but can always bully Bakugou if he treats you wrong.

• Aizawa is the type of person to hold the Cat in his arms So you can pet it, since it's too big for you to hold. it Just makes his Day when he sees the way your eyes light up when you hear the cat start to purr.

• we will also wrap you up in his scarf if you even say it's too cold. (you and Nezu are scarf buds!) Just say the word and he's rolling out the sleeping bag and prepping to make your favorite hot chocolate with the extra whipped cream and cat marsh mallows and we all know he has all your favorite cartoons for the two of you to binge together!

• however, like most things, it's not perfect.

• a good example of this is that Aizawa likes to have you nap on his lap as he is grading papers.

BUT YOU WANT A BEDTIME STORY

and Aizawa tries his best but he will probably come up with a story worthy of being a german fairy tale. (translation: there are no happy endings, sorry.)

BUT AIZAWA IS SMART ... enough

most of the time he ends up reading to you Denki and Mineta's test answers. and by the time he's done you're asleep.

and then his mind starts to wander,

you just remind him so much of Oboro

how you always manage to light up the room with your smile, how you always manage to be pretty Badass yet kind, and how you always care for others so deeply.

he won't let you go, not this time.

some times, he'll lay awake at night sitting on the couch just curled up into a ball just thinking about the future, when he's all old and wrinkly, maybe you'll be a beautiful young lady (oh who am I kidding, ofc your will! some of you are! others are just beautiful!)

then will you leave him?

that's when he gets up to go look at your photo album. from when you were a newborn, to now, when you are a toddler.

that's when he comes to the conclusion, you may older, but he will always be your dad, he will always protect you.

sometimes Eri joins him, and draws hearts around the ones with you and her, or you Aizawa and her.

likes helping you do your hair, braids are his favorite, but he'll do any hair style as long as it's not too hard.
