Today was the first day in my life, when my 10-year of being on tumblr were proven useful.

I had a work meeting about communication and relations with our students (Gen Z - which I'm a part of) and let me tell you, observing young people, reading about their interests, desires, seeing the way they feel about society and socializing, how they interact with eachother in a non-censored way (cause on tumblr you don't have friends or family members, you can just be yourself and pour your heart out), how they fall into aesthetics and big ideas - it was all useful. I unknowingly gathered a lot of information that can be useful in the way I communicate things (which is my job).

10-years of me, here, in my safe space, telling everybody and nobody everything I felt, sharing ideas, feelings and stuff important to me (that I couldn't share anywhere else), connecting on a little anti-social app. I have already noticed it few years ago, that tumblr is actually a great research place. A fantastic place to observe people in their natural habitat - their mind. Some academic disciplines could use this site for incognito research. It would bring in a lot.
