Bird Studies turned 10 today!
It's hard to believe it's been a full decade since I started this blog! I definitely never planned to draw over 3,600 birds but it's been great sharing them with all of you over the last ten years. For any of you still with me since the early days, thanks for sticking around. I hope I've helped you and everyone who has joined me along the way to enjoy how interesting and varied birds can be!

One year ago today I finally decided to make an account for tumblr. It was confusing at first but I soon found it's the safest space in social media I have ever seen.
I spent so many hours laughing about stupid shitposts. I read tons of amazing stories. I found wonderful friends and even a soulmate ❤
Apart from all the people entertaining me, apparently I am entertaining some of you too 👀
I've made more than 400 original posts, shared 31 stories and wrote more than 90k words throughout this year. I would have never thought I would get this far.
There are hundreds of people that at some point decided they want to read what I have to say. I still can't believe this. But I'm happy for every single person who ever talked to me here. It's been a pleasure.
