but yesss this was a blast to draw and I’m really proud of how the colours came out, even if the pencils I used for the sky got nommed on in the scan !! especially with the subtle red-orange gradients we have going on! :D

I'm Tyler, and as my bio states, I'm 21. My current hyper fixation is COD Modern Warfare 2 (Reboot) but I also write for my non-fandom OCs which is in "The Iriecester Realm Masterlist".

You laid in bed, staring at the ceiling as you waited for Gabriel's return from the bathroom. You then heard the soft tunes of him playing the piano in the livingroom, you got out of bed, quietly putting on your nightrobe as you walked out of your room, you walked into the room, standing by the doorframe with a soft smile as you watched your boyfriend played, his head lowered as he stared down at the piano keys, he noticed your presence due to you're shadow, he blushed slightly, as he stopped playing and glanced in your direction.

"...I thought you were just gonna use the bathroom..?" You asked, in a both teasing yet polite tone.

"Ah..Yes, I was just..Feeling like playing..again" Gabriel said softly. Gabriel was really good at playing the piano, he had been playing since he was 6 years old, he stopped playing 2 years ago, as he had noticed it was a trigger for him. You noticed the white, linen, sheet discarded next to the piano, this sheet usually covered the piano.

He quietly stood up, his slender hand on your flat chest, Gabriel had been raised in a cult, he rarely spoke about it due to the trauma it had given him. When you two started dating, he said that placing a hand on your significant other's chest was seen as a sign of love.

You two were laying in bed, Gabriel wasn't able to fall asleep, he looked at your sleeping form as his thin arms were wrapped around your waist.

"...My beautiful boy.." *He whispered to himself as he moved closer to you, wanting to comfort you, even though he wasn't comfortable himself.

You woke up when you felt him trembling slightly, he often did this, you didn't know why, he never told you why, but, it often meant he was going to start crying soon.

You sat up slightly, feeling drowsy as you hugged him softly.

You two ended up spending the entire night awake, cuddling, and ended up sleeping during the day, it was very comforting.

🔮 - What's a favorite whump trope of yours?

Some of my favorite conventional tropes are noncon, whipping, exhaustion, prison whump… some unconventional ones are when a whumpee js still fully in the whump scenario but a caretaker visits/becomes present allowing just a moment of hope, intubation/extubation, whumpee doesn’t speak the language of whumper and surrounding characters, etc.

🎱 - How did you discover the tumblr whump writing community?

OK so. In 2016 I made an Aaron Tveit gifset which was very whump focused BECAUSE all my gifsets are whump focused, and a bunch of whump blogs reblogged and I was like WHAT KINDA KINK HAS GOTTEN AHOLD OF THIS GIFSET just to realize it wasn’t a kink but actually the thing that I’ve always loved, so I then started following a bunch of whump gif blogs and became very aware of whump as a concept.

Fast forward to January 2020 and I wrote a Book of Mormon fanfic and tagged it ‘whump’ at which point peachy saw the tag, and deep dove into the whump community (but we didn’t know each other yet we met through that fandom).

THEN peachy and I became friends and SHE told me about how all these people are writing whumpy stories using OCs on tumblr which was totally new and foreign to me, and I ignored the call for several months before finally, in October of 2020, entering the whump writing world by simultaneously reading and writing whump fic.
