Okay here’s all my thoughts and questions part 1 How did Chozen get weapons through security? And why does everyone keep calling him an assassin? Has he...actually killed someone? Because really the one time we saw him fight to the death he failed and got his nose honked. Or did Chozen arrive in LA and immediately go buy weapons? Miguel seeing his dad with another kid handling it better than Robby but at the same time it’s a little kid and not someone his age. Also saving the kid but being a creeper who followed them around? Kind of here for everyone telling Johnny the stuff he does is illegal. Graffiti karma and kidnapping a minor even if it’s his own son. I kind of get why Carmen didn’t go and rescue Miguel because that guy is scary but at the same time....I hate that she stayed home. Who knew fake FBI shirts could cause so much trouble and rip so easily? Time to add another Johnny chokehold to the gifs of every time someone’s gone for the poor guys neck.
Moon sometimes gives me Miyagi vibes.
Daniel why the hell didn’t you google Barnes? You looked up enough to stalk him from his home to his work...but you didn’t...google his job? Like see that he works in furniture. Opposite of you Johnny at least is googling stuff. You’re supposed to be the smart one and it makes me cringe so much when he...jumps in head first without thinking. Like at least look around the front to see the place or like read the newspaper articles or coverage that Barnes is now in furniture. I just can’t think of how on earth he could’ve gotten Barnes’s address and not seen that he was a furniture king.
Okay so Daniel can meet with Barnes and actually stop Barnes and Chozen from fighting and explain the who big misunderstanding and yet...gestures at the entire series. There’s more in that. Esp with Johnny. Because 9 times out of 10 the two misunderstand each other and nearly come to blows. I don’t know whether he’s gotten better at it because of Johnny or whether together the two are just more stubborn and everyone else is easier.
Omg Daniel do not call and leave a message for that sketchy attorney. That person could still be working for Silver. I don’t get why Daniel doesn’t trust Silver at all and yet will trust anyone and everyone else to listen to reason and pick him. Do you not remember talking to the police when Barnes originally bothered you and then they laughed it off. I just...seriously? Daniel why aren’t you googling or researching anything. That’s going to bite you....and it did...in a steam room.
I get why Barnes left the country. Sketchy red flags for insurance but uh...Silver yeah I get that.
Did Johnny just admit to doing sex work after school? Is...that how he and Shannon met...no she didn’t seem to know but also didn’t bat an eye. (Also Lawrence isn’t his mom’s maiden name? But....it’s not Sid’s last name...did she marry his dad???????? So many questions)
My main concern is that Miyagi’s house, the dojo, all those vintage cars are going to be set on fire and Miguel’s necklace for Sam will be there and somehow it will be his fault or Johnny’s. You know what, I appreciate Johnny saying thank you. Demetri deserves some kindness and I think it’s probably the best thing for Demetri to be Johnny’s tech person because Miguel views him as a dad and already had all the cringe nightmare stuff. Time to pass that responsibility to someone else who kind of knows Johnny is a mess but most likely won’t be scarred by the exact type of mess he is.
Johnny’s gig life is embarrassing and gross to watch and I would not have blamed those girls for cancelling their ride and being like nah no thanks sir. Johnny is still kind of a messy creep and he already has a bad track record. How is it that teens with pools care this much about a water park? Like Sam’s not even swimming, why is she even there? Just sit at the pool at home....oh...is she banned from the pool at home because of Chozen? Like Chozen’s habits are kind of interesting but the fact there’s teens and preteens in the household I get why Amanda freaked out. And I guess now I get why they’re at a water park and not at home. But doesn’t Moon or like any of these other rich kids have a pool? Isn’t like Eli rich? Why can’t they go to one of these pools and for the Cobra Kai kids...uhhhh Kyler probably has a pool right? The item Daniel brought for the auction is going to be destroyed isn’t it? I like that the pawn shop guy just knows how to handle Johnny now. And it’s kind of fun that he has 3 kids that he swears Johnny will never meet and 3 pawn shops. I half thought he’d hire Johnny to work one of them.
Everyone is being kind of nice to Johnny. I’m kind of shocked.
How the hell do you race in a slide? Daniel oh honey no. And there we go bonsai got destroyed. Darn and Daniel didn’t even give them a second glance. Remember when he used to freak out over bonsai? Sorry Mr. Miyagi. Stingray? Oh his poor sad face. Like I get that he’s...an odd character but I feel bad for him. And the flinch when Silver touches him. “I feel like a kept woman.” omg. He gets Lawrence’s car? Does that mean Silver has Johnny’s phone? Oh the mess he could make with that. Robby and Miguel got parent trapped at olive garden “When you’re here you’re family” omg that’s so on purpose that it’s hilarious. Also uhhhh they picked Italian which is kind of funny because I doubt Daniel will be there, but he’s there...in spirit. I wonder, since this is clearly an advertisement for Olive Garden if they’re doing any Cobra Kai specials. 😂
Omg this is such an advertisement. “Breadsticks aren’t going to fix this.” I agree. 😂
Daniel was from here? This was where scruffy Daniel came from? How long has he been alone without Amanda?
Daniel...you gotta communicate. Like it’s not just Silver, this whole journey you hide stuff from your family. All the way back to Lucille and hiding your black eye from her. Talk hon, talk and not just to guys from Okinawa.
I’ve heard one line from Amanda’s mom and I already love her.
Omg omg omg omg omg omg No! Hold up! How the hell does this work? So Amanda doesn’t know Jess and Daniel’s time with Silver and Barnes and LA? WTF? Like at least they must’ve seen each other at the wedding right? Jess has to know everything. And does that mean Amanda’s family is the pottery store across the street from Miyagi’s little trees? Aunt JO! Johnny you made art out of your beer cans? Bud. How bored are you? Omg he made a salon. Sir. You little weird artist you.
Did some internetting. Johnny did you get them a “this is our get along shirt?” Our theme is the Lincoln County War. Johnny. What are you doing? I love this but I also am so confused. Is this....are you healing Johnny? Does this mean you’re finally growing? And thus can learn stuff again? Oh...it’s from a movie. LOL. I thought. I love that abuela is in on it. OMG Johnny can understand some Spanish? Of course it’s the I screwed up....T_T 💔
Oh wow. Daniel going too far? Chozen, you...I’m glad you’re with Daniel because he is a mess.
I’m sorry Amanda is a video game nerd and yet hasn’t bonded with Anthony over that? Omg Elizabeth Anne Rooney? Are we in Ohio? WTH?
Damn Daniel and also Johnny that’s some growth. 😂 How Johnny knows something is up with Daniel is his shirt isn’t tucked in. 😂😂😂😂
Sibling chat! Sibling chat! FINALLY! Wait so Anthony was in time out and talked to no one but Johnny during that family dinner and no one decided to tell Sam that her baby bro bullied some kid and ....damn everyone is so self focused they don’t see beyond themselves.
Listen I appreciate the quick re-run of the past. But you’re missing some facts that Jessica knows. That Barnes and co tried to actually murder them in that pit. That both of them nearly died. And there’s a lot of stuff neither of them are aware of.
BAR FIGHT! GET REVENGE AGAINST ELIZABETH ANNE ROONEY JESSICA!!!! GET HER! These two are never allowed near stairwells ever again. I don’t care that ended up okay. Banned. Absolutely banned. 😂 White Castle advertisement. The taste you crave after getting into a bar fight (Jessica freaking out over a club fight where she was being attacked but ready to throw down at a bar when she’s older is fascinating) You know what I’m so ready for? Robby getting some care from the Diaz’s. Let him smoke some weed with Abuela and get some kindness from Carmen. Don’t do it Daniel. Don’t go in because the doors open. Don’t fall for Silver. Don’t do anything. Walk away. No. Run away. Oh god what happened to Stingray. I do not like this parallel to when Johnny went by himself and got his ass kicked by Silver. I do not like this. Daniel you shouldn’t have gone by yourself. T_T Babe you’re in a horror movie. Stop going places by yourself. It’s not safe. Ayyeee knew Tory would go to Kreese. Knew she didn’t fully trust everything. Chozen stayed. T_T I’m glad. And now Johnny is finally here. I was so worried that like stingray was beaten up in a corner and Silver was going to call the cops on him.

Hellsite Nostalgia Tour 2023 Day 292
Breakdown/The Doctor Falls
“Breakdown”
Plot Description: when Donna’s niece is attacked and kidnapped, Sam and Dean help track her down, and in the process discover a very sinister operation
Would I Survive the First Five Minutes??: right off the bat, it doesn’t look promising. You could not get me to stop at that rest stop. Nah, I’ve got AAA, I’m not getting out of the car, I’m ok
(Megumi is trying to attack my phone screen or locking my glasses at every turn so this could take a while)
Poor Donna. First everything that happened last episode, now this
Oh. When that guy said family reunion, he meant when the remaining women of spn rescued the boys
I get what Sam is saying, but Dean’s right. They can’t leave even if it means potentially attracting the attention of the real fbi again
Dean’s such a good big brother though trying to cheer up and reassure Sammy
This dude is so freaking creepy, Megumi’s scared of him too
Donna’s good at being a cop (derogatory). It’s so disappointing how many characters are cops
I don’t necessarily believe this pastor they brought in but the cashier who told Donna’s niece to smile more is too obvious. I also don’t think it was the long haired guy…maybe.
This is too regular horror for me.
Oh the cashier IS involved. He calls the sicko auctioning off human body parts to monsters as food when he finds someone he thinks no one will miss. I hate him. I hated him before, but this is a new level
I’m so mad Charlie’s dead at a time like this. She’d be able to crack where this dude broadcasts from
(What if it’s Ketch? I don’t think it is, but I could see him using people………………….WHAT IF IT IS THE FBI AGENT?!?! It’s not because he’s with Sam but how sick would that be?)
THE CASHIER IS A VAMPIRE???
WAIT!! The FBI agent IS in on it?
I can’t believe I was right about the FBI agent, but who is the guy in the mask?
(Oh. Right, they’re trying to auction off Sam now. I dunno what part of him went for $5k but that’s not bad)
Goddamn $500k for Sam’s heart
Ah yes, the good old pan away from the gun that’s supposed to be shot only to reveal that the monster got shot by one of the boys (obviously Dean in this case)
Poor Doug is so freaked out about having been a vampire got a couple hours, are he and Donna about to break up? ☹️
Oh, Sammy. The boys really do just trade off who’s lost all hope
“The Doctor Falls”
Plot Description: The Doctor makes a final stand against an army of cybermen
These cybermen scarecrows are reminding me that we never found out who was under the mask in spn…guess it didn’t matter
I knew Missy wanting to be good was too good to be true……but she did seem surprised when Simm!Master came back. She’s probably seizing the opportunity. It’s easy to fall back into old habits
Oh. Shit. That’s either really smart or really stupid, expanding the definition of humanity to include brings with two hearts
She’s such an opportunist. I love her
Bill’s heart is still in there 😭😭😭
Excuse me?? Bill’s just…back now?? Not mad about it. Just…I can’t tell if she looks like herself or if they’re hiding that she still has the facade of a cyberman (ok. It was the latter. I figured as much)
Tell her the truth Doctor (I hate that both Bill and Danny got turned into cybermen)
I’m so mad that this is how it’s going. Bill deserves so much better than this. I’m pretty disengaged despite regeneration coming and Simm!Master being here
Is it time for Missy and the Master to be heroic? And go get his TARDIS? So maybe they can also get the Doctor’s?
The tension between the two Masters is funny because they’re constantly trying to answer the “would you fuck your clone?” post
Twelve’s speeches are always so good, and him pleading with the Masters to just do the right thing this time is so heart wrenching
The fact that Simm!Master completely ignored everything the Doctor just said is even more heartbreaking for Twelve (but that’s just who that character is)…but now it falls to Missy
“Stand with me. It’s all I’ve ever wanted” “Me too, but no. Sorry.” 😭😭😭 they want me to cry myself to sleep tonight do they??
Noooooooo. The Doctor charging Nardole with the safety of everyone on this ship and their evacuation from this floor while he stays (and Bill stays) to blow the whole floor up
I know Missy just betrayed the Master but I cannot tell what she actually did. She poison him?? So he’d regenerate into her converging the timeline so she could go help the Doctor
NO!! He shot her in the back, and in some weird way that should prevent her from regenerating (but we all know she will)
Twelve will never know she was going to come back 😭
It’s starting!! He’s regenerating!!
Good lord, how did he survive that blast? The short answer is he didn’t, but that should have instantly killed him
EXCUSE ME?! The girl from the puddle……..oh. No. I’m so confused. Bill’s no longer in the cyberman armor and the girl from her first episode is back but how is Bill not dead, IS she dead? It appears to be some kind of almost limbo state that’s just this side of actual living, but they do get to be together so I guess that’s nice.
Has there been a lot of melodrama this episode? Yes, but I’m really curious if Moffat can stick the landing
Twelve’s hair is so floofy I love it…oh, he stopped his regeneration. He has spent a LONG long time being Twelve. He spent two BILLION years in that prison in his confession disc thingy. I know he’ll say he’s only like 2000 years old or whatever but you can’t discount all that
Baby, it’s time. It’s regeneration time. Or not. Looks like we’ll get that next time. That said, Walter Frey as the Doctor is definitely something that requires getting used to. He definitely looks the part but all I can think is that he orchestrated the red wedding

Sharing secrets was difficult, but sharing secrets about one’s past was quite possibly one of the most difficult things that a person could do with who they loved. You knew how difficult it was for Spencer to talk about his past with you, but he stood by his word and told you absolutely everything, with nothing to hide. By the time you finished that conversation, it was almost dawn and yet you didn’t feel tired at all.
After that night, something changed but it wasn’t a bad change like Spencer feared.
You felt even closer to him, if such a thing was possible. In the following week, your relationship was better than ever-
Well.
Until now.
“I don’t believe this,” you shook your head, “I just… I refuse to believe this. After everything we’ve been through, I don’t even want to believe you’d put yourself in harm’s way and betray me like this. I get that you have no regard for your happiness, but doing this?” you ran a hand over your face, “This is too much, Spencer. You have no idea what you’re walking into, what kind of danger that’s going to be waiting there to ruin you!”
Spencer just raised his brows, then looked between the two ties he was holding up.
“So that’s a no to the blue one?”
“No to this whole thing!” you let out a groan, falling back to the bed, “No to this dinner with my family nonsense!”
He chuckled at your dramatics as you huffed out.
“Don’t you think maybe you’re worried about the wrong thing?” he asked, “You’re also meeting your father today.”
“But we know my father is a sadistic cruel demon sent to earth to make everyone’s life miserable,” you pointed out, keeping your eyes on the ceiling, “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but my father isn’t the only dangerous person in my family.”
“It’s just a dinner.”
“No, that’s what they want you to think,” you insisted, sitting up in bed, “Before you know it, they invite you to our place by the lovely countryside, and you’ll walk in thinking it’s just like any other place, there are wolves howling outside and-“
“Why are you giving me the plot of Dracula right now?”
“Because that’s what they are!” you exclaimed, “They’re like vampires! Have you ever wondered why my sister was named Mina? Dracula’s Mina!”
“Your mother loves horror books?”
“Spencer you can’t ignore the signs!” you insisted as he started tying his tie, a small grin pulling at his lips, “They’ll- they’ll suck the life out of you! By the time the dinner is over, you will be begging to see the sunlight again, and you will never be able to. Figuratively speaking.”
“Sweetheart, I’ve already met all of them,” he said patiently and you felt your heart melt, “In case you forgot.”
“Yes, and do you remember how that went?” you asked, “Nolan threatened you, my mother treated you like she was going to hire you and questioned you about everything, and Mina… Mina is a warning by existence.”
“Kenzie was nice though.”
“Yeah, she’s the only good person in our family,” you muttered, then turned your head when you felt his glances on you. “What?”
“Nolan is a part of your family?”
“Ugh, don’t remind me,” you scrunched up your face and grabbed your lip liner and lipstick to walk to the mirror, uncapped it and started applying it, “I’m going to have a billionaire stepfather who looks like a puppy around my mother— that’s not the point.” You put the lipstick into your purse and went to sit down on the bed again while he ran his fingers through his curls as if trying to keep them under control, “I just don’t want you to change your mind because my family doesn’t know how to act normal.”
“Change my mind about what?”
“About this,” you motioned between you and that was more than enough to make him turn his head, his brows furrowed. “I love them, but they’re going to be overly prying, overly dramatic, overly….everything and the next thing we know—“
“That’s never going to happen,” he approached you to crouch down so that he could look at you better, then reached out to entwine his fingers with yours, “That’s why you were so nervous about this?”
You pursed your lips, heaving a sigh and shrugged silently.
“Do you remember what you said to me a couple of days ago, that night?” he asked, “How trust works both ways?”
“You already know almost everything about my past.”
“That’s not it,” he shook his head, “This is about our present, and future.”
“Or lack thereof,” you commented dryly, making him chuckle.
“Do you seriously believe that?”
“They can be a little intimidating.”
“I’ll be fine,” he assured you, “And no matter what happens tonight, or on dinners to come with-“
“Social vampires.”
“With your family,” he corrected you, “It won’t change anything. I promise.”
You cupped his cheek, running your fingertips over his slight stubble and he turned his head to place a kiss into your palm, nuzzling there.
“Fine,” you murmured, “Let’s go see my sadistic demon father then. Should be enough of a practice for tonight.”
                                              ***
When you and Spencer got to the prison your father was held in, Luke was already by the hallway, waiting for you.
“Hey,” he said, “He’s going to be ready in five.”
You nodded, “Okay.”
“And don’t worry, after you guys are done here, I’m taking him to bullpen and he will leave at 7 p.m. latest. Rossi promised, even if there’s a dead body he’s gonna attend the dinner tonight.”
You looked up at Spencer, “Wait, there was a possibility of you not attending if someone ends up dead?”
“I mean if there’s a case…”
“Please don’t kill someone so that you guys can avoid this dinner,” Luke pointed out and you made a face at him, “We took you off our suspects list way too soon.”
“Hilarious,” you deadpanned and one of the guards opened the door.
“He’s ready.”
“I’ll be behind the glass if you two need anything.” Luke said and Spencer squeezed your hand as if trying to assure you everything would be alright.
“Come on,” he coaxed and you nodded, then took a deep breath and entered the interrogation room, Spencer following you. Your father looked up, then raised his brows.
“Oh look at you two, together again,” he said and you rolled your eyes, trying your hardest not to show how nervous you were. You took your seat across from him beside Spencer, and crossed your arms.
“John.”
“Dr. Reid.”
“So that’s why you haven’t had the time to come and see me lately,” your father motioned between you, “I can hardly say I approve but…”
“Oh that’s good. I’d probably kill myself if I did something you’d approve of.”
“Honey, you’re surrounded by CEOs and businessmen, and you went for an FBI agent?”
“What the fuck does that have to do with-”
“How much do you make monthly?” he asked, turning to Spencer, “I mean, I need to make sure-“
“Oh shut up, will you?” you cut him off, “He’s going to be hearing all that nonsense and more tonight, I don’t need this from you too.”
“Tonight?”
You and Spencer exchanged glances and he shrugged slightly, as if telling you to continue. A small smile pulled at your lips and you turned to your father.
“We’re having a family dinner tonight,” you said, “Naturally it doesn’t include you, so there’s one good thing about this bullshit, I guess.”
“Well, if it doesn’t include me you could hardly call it a family dinner.”
Your smile widened and you clicked your tongue,
“Nah, Nolan is going to be there so we’ll be fine. The whole family is there.”
Your father frowned, “Nolan?”
“Yeah,” you said, “Yeah, mom’s boyfriend.”
A silence fell upon the room as he stared at you for a couple of seconds,
“Your mother has a boyfriend now?”
You hissed in a breath,
“You’re right, boyfriend doesn’t exactly cut it,” you said, “He’s going to propose, so I guess we could call him mom’s future husband-“
“You’re lying,” he cut you off and you tilted your head.
“Am I though?”
“She wouldn’t get married,” he shook his head, “No way.”
A laughter escaped from your lips, “Why not?” you asked, “Because she loves you?”
“Yes she does.”
“The last time I checked, she called you a monster and was hoping you would die as soon as possible,” you stated, “Barely a love story.”
“Of course you wouldn’t understand,” he said through his teeth, “Your mother and I were in love, Petal. We still are, regardless of divorce, or this.” He motioned around the room and you blinked a couple of times, trying to wrap your mind around it.
“Jesus, you really are delusional.”
Spencer muttered your name to remind you to be careful, but you shook your head, keeping your eyes on your father.
“I’m pretty sure Nolan could buy this whole prison,” you motioned around, “I should suggest that, as a wedding gift.”
“They won’t get- hold on,” your father said, “Did you say Nolan? Nolan Yates?”
“Mm hm.”
“Nolan fucking Yates is going after my wife?”
“Ex-wife who hates your guts,” you corrected him and he gritted his teeth.
“I knew it,” he spat, “The first time I saw him at that gala, I saw the way he looked at your mother. They’re not getting married.”
“Okay then you lunatic,” you scoffed “I guess you need something to have delusions about while we’re out there moving on—“
It happened in a flash. One second you were talking, the next you were cut off as your father jumped on his feet, Spencer pushing you out of your chair to behind him almost automatically.
Then, something in Spencer’s eyes shifted.
He grabbed him by the arm, twisted it and slammed him down to the table in front of you, making you cover your mouth, your heart beating in your throat as the door opened with a bang and Luke and two guards came in.  Luke was the first to pull Spencer off of your father, telling him to let go while one of the guards grabbed you and pushed you out of the room before he made his way to your father still trying to get out of the handcuffs and lunge at them as if he was a man possessed. They dragged him out of the interrogation room to what you assumed was the hall that led to his cell while you stood still by the wall, trying your hardest to snap out of it but your mind was almost foggy.
“Excuse me,” you managed to say as you made your way to the bathroom, your hands still shaking. Thankfully no one was there, so you rested your palms on the sink, taking a deep breath before you turned on the tap, holding your hands under the ice cold water.
“Okay,” you muttered to yourself, “It’s fine. You’re fine. It happens, you have a fucked up family.”
You rolled your shoulders back, that crazy light in your father’s eyes flashing in your mind before you shook your head, exhaling slowly.
“Y/N?” Spencer’s voice reached inside as he knocked on the door, “Can I come in?”
Your heart was still pacing in your chest but you cleared your throat.
“Yeah,” you called out and he stepped inside, his lips pulled into a thin line as he offered you a small smile.
“Hi,” he said gently, still keeping his distance, standing by the now closed door. “Are you okay?”
You nodded, crossing your arms, adrenaline still pulsing through you, “Yeah, of course.”
“I’m sorry,” he said and you pulled your brows together.
“Huh?”
“That you had to see that,” he said, “I know I shouldn’t have slammed him down like that, but when he lunged at you, I just…. I saw red. I understand that it was hard to watch and I apologize—“
“Hold on,” you cut him off, gawking at him “You’re apologizing because you stopped that psycho from lunging at me?”
Spencer frowned as if he was confused at your own confusion, and nodded.
“Yeah. Human mind is very complex, so even if you think you hate him, it could’ve been difficult for you to see him hurt, not to mention it was me who did that. Jung has a theory that states—“
“Spencer,” You interrupted him again, “Lock the door.”
His frown deepened but he did as you asked, but he didn’t get to ask why when you walked to him and pulled him into a kiss, wrapping your arms around his neck and standing on your tiptoes. His hand cradled your head, a sigh of content escaping him but he pulled back when you grabbed his tie to loosen it.
“Wait, here?” he asked, “Y/N, this is a bathroom.”
“Yeah, I’m aware?”
“Do you have any idea how unsanitary this place probably is?”
“Oh, very unsanitary,” you stated, “On the other hand, though…”
You shrugged your shoulders and pulled your silk blouse over your head, so that he could see you in your bra. He stared at you for a moment and he swallowed thickly, his eyes snapping up to yours when you giggled.
“You make a good point,” he muttered before he pulled you into a kiss and walked you back to the sink.
                                                ***
Unfortunately, the rest of the day wasn’t that fun, especially when it was time to get to your mother’s house for the family dinner. You had insisted on picking Spencer up from work after you were done at your work, so that you would at least try to change his mind on the road again, but when you actually arrived to your mother’s place, he still looked like he wanted to do this.
“Last warning,” you said as Spencer looked up at the house, then twirled the flower bouquet in his hand, “Not too late to change your mind professor.”
“I’ll be fine, come on,” he offered his free hand and you took it, then both of you climbed the stairs to the front door.
“I’m a little nervous, in case you couldn’t tell.”
“You hummed the Darth Vader theme for the whole road,” Spencer reminded you, “I had a feeling you were nervous, yeah.”
“Abandon hope all ye enter here,” you quoted Dante as you both reached the door and Spencer scoffed a laugh.
“Ah we went from the den of vampires into the gates of hell, then?”
“Yeah! As Dante would put it, to a place we come where nothing shines.”
“I doubt he envisioned this when he was talking about the circles of hell.” He rang the doorbell and you let out a small whine, looking up at the dark sky.
“There are worse people than me out there,” you said as the footsteps came closer, “Why am I being subjected to—“
“Spencer!” your mother greeted him as she opened the door and you frowned.
“Since when do you answer the door?” you asked and she shot you a look before smiling at Spencer.
“Hello Ms. Knight.”
“Welcome, both of you!” she gasped at the flowers, “For me?”
“Oh—yes, of course.”
“They’re lovely, thank you!” she said and took them from him, “Come in, come in!”
“No I’m serious, did something happen to Tina? You never answer the door.”
“It’s nice to see you too sweetie, I see we started our dramatics on the way.” she kissed your cheek and you smiled.
“Hi mom.”
“Let me put these in a vase.”
“Spencer!” a gleeful scream rang in the hallway as your mother went to the kitchen and Lily threw herself at Spencer who crouched down as soon as he saw her “Hi!”
“Hi there! Whoa, you’re very strong!”
“Just in time for bedtime,” Kenzie walked into the hallway with a wine glass in her hand, “Hi guys.”
“I told mommy you’re a magician! And grandma, and Nolan too!” Lily counted with her fingers, “And I told them- I told them you can make coins disappear, and that you can do magic with paper, and then—“
“Bug, breathe,” you said, “Also, where’s my hug?”
Lily hastily rushed to you to hug you, then turned to Spencer as if she wasn’t interrupted while he just watched her with a fond smile on her face, listening intently to everything she was saying, and that warm feeling spread through your stomach again.
“And then I told Bobby I know a superhero, then he told me superheroes can’t be magicians but he’s wrong! Do you use magic to catch bad guys? Because if you do, I can help you with your superhero name!”
“Alright, auntie time.” you lifted her up into your arms as Spencer straightened up, “Sorry about that.”
“No, don’t,” Spencer shook his head, still smiling, “Please, I… she’s amazing.”
“Lily,” Kenzie said, “Bed time, come on.”
“Can you show me a magic trick please and thank you?” Lily said breathlessly and Spencer let out a laugh before turning to Kenzie.
“Is that okay?”
“Sure thing.”
Spencer took out a coin from his pocket and held it in her sight, “Alright Lily, this is just a coin, right?”
“Don’t let him trick you,” you whispered to Lily who giggled, then nodded fervently after checking the coin.
“Yes.”
“Okay, keep your eyes on it,” Spencer showed it to her one more time before he put it into his palm, closed his palm and when he opened it, the coin was nowhere to be seen. Lily gasped, her jaw dropping and you couldn’t help but smile at her expression, her eyes shining with awe. You pressed a kiss on her cheek as Kenzie took her from you, and she let out a whine.
“But you all will have fun here!” she murmured, pouting and you heaved a sigh.
“Lily I can assure you, no one will have fun here.”
“Don’t be like that,” Kenzie shot you a look and smiled at Spencer. “She didn’t intimidate you, did she?”
“She tried,” Spencer said as you wrapped your arms around his torso and he kissed the top of your head, “Didn’t exactly work though.”
“For some reason,” you grumbled and Lily waved at you.
“Night night!”
“Good night!”
“I’ll see you later bug!” you said and entwined your fingers with Spencer’s, then pulled him to the dining room where Kenzie and Nolan were talking. Before you could even greet them, the sight of the dinner table caught your eye and you gawked at all the food there, your mother was definitely out of control and this was the proof of it.
There was enough food for a small army.
“Oh God please don’t tell me we’re going to have live music too,” you muttered and Mina raised her brows.
“Yeah, you might want to lower your expectations,” she shot a fake smile at Spencer, “But then again, that seems to be the theme of tonight. Hi Dr. Reid.”
You gritted your teeth, glaring at her and of course the jab didn’t escape Spencer’s attention, but he chose not to respond with the same sarcasm.
“Hi again.”
“Welcome, Dr. Reid,” Nolan smiled, “Y/N.”
“Hi Mr. Yates.”
“Nolan.”
“So this is where you grew up?” Spencer asked you as you led him away from them towards the library, and you nodded.
“Yeah,” you said, “Right over there me and Mina got into a fight and she pushed me into a vase.”
“Ouch.”
“Spent the next ten minutes begging me not to tell mom. Over there,” you pointed at the corner, “Used to be this huge Christmas tree every year.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, and we used to have another room next to this, dad’s study, but after he was arrested and we all figured out how evil he was, mom grabbed a sledgehammer and smashed the—“
“Dinner is ready!” your mother called out and you heaved a sigh.
“Just saying, we could just tell them there’s been a murder.”
“You don’t give up, do you?” he smiled at you fondly and you shook your head, Kenzie entering the living room again.
“I’ve been called stubborn before.”
“Can’t imagine why,” he joked as he kissed you on the forehead and you turned to your family who was slowly taking their seats around the table, then both of you approached the table to sit down as well.
“I’m so glad we decided to have this dinner,” your mother clasped her hands, “It was about time, wouldn’t you say?”
Spencer smiled at her after thanking the maid who was filling his glass, “Thank you for inviting me Ms Knight.”
“Y/N was trying to make him change his mind,” Kenzie sang and your mother tilted your head.
“Spencer, I promise you we’re not as bad as my daughter tries to make you believe.”
“I’m not saying you’re bad,” you defended yourself, “I’m just saying you might be a little too much.”
“Define too much.”
You gawked at her and motioned at the table, making Spencer chuckle silently beside you.
“I really appreciate the effort you put into this,” he added, making your mother smile.
“Why thank you, Spencer,” she said and turned to Nolan, “Honey, Spencer works for the BAU as you know, you should introduce him to your friend.”
“Your friend?” Kenzie asked.
“The head of FBI,” Nolan said, “That’s a great idea. He might also help you in any position you want in the bureau.”
Spencer blinked a couple of times, as if he was at loss for words, then cleared his throat.
“Thank you,” he said “I already- I already have the position that I want though.”
“Ah for the future,” Nolan waved a hand and your mother sipped her drink.
“Yeah, now that it came up,” she said, “What are your future plans?”
“Mom,” you said warningly and Mina leaned back, looking between you with a smirk on her face.
“It’s just a question, don’t be so nervous,” she commented and Kenzie arched a brow at her.
“Mina.”
“No it’s okay,” Spencer pushed his hair behind his ear, “I um… I think I’d like to focus more on teaching.”
You lowered your glass, “Hm? Really?”
“Yeah,” he nodded, “I mean I do love BAU, they’re my family but seeing murders every single day, seeing all those victims, it becomes too much sometimes. But I love teaching already, so I think I will do that. In the future, I mean.”
“Oh how lovely. How about something other than your career though? In your future, would you say you’re planning to have chi—“
“New topic,” you cut her off quickly, “I saw dad today, and he knows you two are dating now.”
Your mother frowned but Nolan reached out to squeeze her hand, “It’s okay, he would learn eventually.”
“He actually thinks he is in love with you,” you told your mom and she scoffed.
“Please don’t say that, we’re eating,” she said, “I don’t want to feel nauseous.”
“It’s actually understandable that he’s under that disillusion.” Spencer said, making all of you turn to him, “Especially people in his situation, they feel this need to hold onto some outside world that’s waiting for them to get out of their minds. In a way, he hopes that because if he feels cut off from here, he will probably crash down. It’s very common in people who are imprisoned.”
“Well he can hope all he wants, I never want to see him again.”
“I’m sure Y/N doesn’t want to see him again either, but she’s not that lucky, thanks to FBI. What do you think about that, Spencer?” Mina asked, and Spencer looked at her.
“I think that’s a decision left to her.”
“Is it though?”
You narrowed your eyes. “Mina I need you to remember what I was like when we had dinner with Kenzie, and return the favor.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It means shut the fuck up.”
“Y/N!” your mom gasped and Mina tilted her head.
“Ah well, excuse me if not all of us are in a forgiving mood unlike you.”
“None of that!” your mother said, “Both of you, honestly…”
“Spencer, you strike me as a whiskey guy,” Nolan said, attracting his attention, “I purchased a bottle of limited series in an auction in London the other day, would you like to try it after dinner?”
“Sure,” he nodded fervently and you held up your hand.
“I want to try that too. And what about that rum you were talking about the other day? Is it here too?”
“Sure thing.” Nolan snapped his fingers, “In fact, I know a great distillery, why don’t we visit there after dinner?”
You lifted your head, “That could be fun. Where?”
“Costa Rica.”
Spencer looked between you, “You—um, you want to go to Costa Rica after dinner?”
“We could take the jet. We’d be back before the dawn, obviously.”
“People,” you cleared your throat, “Has no one read the normalcy manual I e-mailed you the other day?”
“Yes but the manual said we could talk about drinks.” Nolan said and Spencer turned to you, frowning.
“Normalcy manual?”
“I just thought it’d be useful for tonight.”
“Oh it was very useful,” Mina commented, “Especially the footnote about murders, even if it was unnecessary. No one will joke about murder Y/N, we don’t want your boyfriend to arrest you again after—“ she was cut off as Kenzie kicked her leg under the table, and Spencer pursed his lips, as if he still felt guilty about that.
“I wasn’t in the city,” he said calmly, looking her dead in the eye, “I came back as soon as I heard, I was trying to get her out when you got there.”
“You don’t have to explain anything,” you said, “Mina , stop it will you?”
She didn’t even look like she heard you, “Get her out? Ah so that’s why I walked into that interrogation room when she was being hounded by your team?”
“Okay!” Kenzie said loudly, throwing the napkin on the table, “I’m so sorry, I just remembered something about Lily’s school that we missed. Babe, can you come with me to the kitchen for a moment please?”
Mina huffed out and put her glass down, then pushed her chair back and followed Kenzie to the kitchen.
“Honestly….” you downed your drink and motioned for another one but then Spencer squeezed your hand under the table, as if trying to assure you.
“I bet you miss the serial killers right now huh?” you mumbled and he tilted your head, humoring you.
“Drinks are better here,” he admitted and you tried to smile before you grabbed your cigarette pack from your purse.
“I’m gonna go to the backyard for a moment to smoke,” you said and your mother shot you a look.
“It’s dinner time, Y/N.”
“It’ll take like five minutes, tops,” you said and pushed your chair back, “I need some fresh air anyway. Spencer?”
“Sure, I’ll come with you,” he said and followed you down the hall until you reached the door to the backyard, opened it and stepped outside.
It was a silent night, as silent as it could be in the middle of the city. You looked up at the stars as you lit your cigarette, then heaved a sigh and leaned back to Spencer’s chest when he wrapped his arms around you, resting his chin on top of your head.
“I apologize on her behalf,” you said and he shook his head.
“You don’t have to,” he muttered, “She has a point. I should’ve… I should’ve been there, in that interrogation room.”
You looked up at him, then reached up to run your fingernails over his slight scruff while he lowered his head to press his nose into the crook of your neck, nuzzling there.
“Spencer, you need to stop blaming yourself,” you said slowly, “I mean it. I don’t blame you for that at all— and….you know Mina. She just turns into someone else when it comes to protecting the family. She doesn’t mean it, not really.”
He nodded silently and you combed back his hair with your fingers, making him heave a sigh.
“This is nice,” he muttered and you let out a small laugh.
“So are you ready to admit that I was right?”
“Hm?”
“I said you would regret it, do you regret it yet?”
“The dinner?”
“Yeah.”
He shook his head “No.”
“Why not?”
His arms around you tightened and he pressed a kiss to your neck, “Because you’re here.”
You closed your eyes for a moment, enjoying the warmth of his body against yours and you stubbed your cigarette before you turned to him. He smiled at you and you couldn’t help but stare at him under the dim lights of the backyard before you stood on your tiptoes and brushed your lips against his.
“God, I love you so much,” you said, making him smile, “Thank you for being here and… I don’t know, going through this absolute torture. I know it’s a lot.”
“Hey,” he cupped your cheek, running his thumb over your cheekbone, “I need you to listen to me, okay?”
You nodded, looking up at him.
“There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you,” his voice was silent, almost hesitant, “To make you happy. You know that, right?”
You could feel the burning in your eyes and you sniffled, your heart skipping a beat before you wrapped your arms around his neck, burying your face into his chest. The rest of the world felt like it disappeared as you swayed from side to side, inhaling his scent and you pulled back.
“I know now,” you wiped at your nose, clearing your throat and he pushed your hair behind your ear.
“Good,” he grinned, “Glad we cleared that out.”
Someone knocked on the door and you turned your head to see Mina as she opened the glass door.
“So about earlier,” she leaned sideways to the doorframe, “Apologies and remorse, etc.”
“That means she’s sorry for what happened earlier,” you said helpfully and Spencer scoffed a laugh, shaking his head.
“You don’t need to apologize,” he said, “I get it. Trust me, I felt exactly the same when I saw the tape, but I was trying to get her out with minimum damage.”
Mina nibbled on her lip, eyeing him up and down.
“I guess,” she said, “But just so you both know, mom and Nolan are actually planning a weekend trip to Costa Rica. It’s like what happened with Kenzie all over again, only there’s two of them now.”
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” you muttered and Mina nodded at Spencer.
“Yeah so you might need to tell them you have murders to solve during the weekend Sherlock, because they’re not going to listen to us.” she said and Spencer looked down at you.
“I’ll be there in a second,” you said and he pressed a kiss into your hair before making his way inside. Mina lingered there for a moment, inspecting her fingernails in a complete nonchalant manner.
“I guess I could trust you to know what you’re doing,” she said, “Just make sure he doesn’t screw you over, okay?”
You raised your brows, then clicked your tongue.
“Kenzie said no sex unless you apologize huh?”
“She meant it too!” Mina whined as you walked past her, letting out a laugh.
“Unbelievable,” you shook your head with a smile, making your way to the dining room. “All of you.”

Few Too Many
Corpse Husband x Reader (Female)
Warnings: Swearing, In-game violence and death, Suggestive comments
Genre: Protective fluff, Humor, RPF (Real Person Fic)
Summary: Jealousy is a dangerous thing, especially when the jealous person is armed with a gun....in a game of Counter Strike. At least Y/N’s friend will now know not to mess around and flirt with her, especially not with Corpse around.
Requested by 🐐 Anon. Hi dear! Thank you so much for your request! Sorry it’s taken me so long to complete and post your request but here it finally is! I didn’t want to make it IRL violence to avoid triggering anyone while I also felt it’d be very ooc for Corpse to beat someone up but I still hope you enjoy the fic if you come across it and read it! Love, Vy ❤
“Hey everyone!“ Y/N greets her squad as they all customize their characters while I sit there, observing and unknowing of what I’m supposed to do. “I invited Corpse to play with us today, hope y’all don’t mind.”
“Of course not! Nice to finally meet you, Corpse. We’ve heard a ton about you from Y/N, thanks for making our girl the happiest she’s ever been.“ One of her friends says, the tone of his voice suggesting he’s only half-joking with the dad like comment he made.
“Nice to meet you too, man. Glad I’m the one she gave the chance of making her happy. That’s all I ever wanna do.“ Though it may sound cheesy, as guys, her friends can probably read into how genuinely I mean what I’ve said.
Dating a girl with only guy friends has it’s pros and cons. Which outweigh which is still up for debate since I’m still researching, but so far so good in my opinion. This is the first time I’m interacting with them directly so I’ve still got a long way to go in terms of getting to know them and the details of their relationship with Y/N better. Regardless, I at least know they can easily understand me and put themselves in my shoes if I ever ‘mess things up’ with Y/N and she goes to complain to them - something that will most likely never happen. I’d never dare make this girl upset. Chances are, if I do, her friends won’t get to me on time - I would deliver my own punishment just the way I think I deserve it. However, there’s also the chance of them getting super protective of her and ganging up on me over something as small as a fight. By the many things and stories Y/N’s shared with me about them, I believe they wouldn’t think twice about kicking someone’s ass for her. They’re not massive dudes - I’ve seen pictures of them - but I for one don’t ever wanna see em angry.
“Ay bro, what’d you do to score our best girl? You must know what she likes. If so please, by all means, do tell.“ One of them, not the one who was previously talking, speaks up, his words making me furrow my brows in both confusion and irritation.
I open my mouth to complain as I slowly start cracking my knuckles when Y/N and her friends beat me to it. Thing is, Y/N’s friend group consists of three guys and her and yet four voices scolded the guy that made that suggestive comment. That being said, this guy probably isn’t considered to be one of her friends, at least not one that’s a permanent part of her friend group.
“Seth, cut it out!“ The guy I was previously speaking to says sharply before softening his tone to refer to me, “Sorry about my brother, excuse his lack of brain cells, please.“
Just then, I also receive a message from someone. Checking my phone, turns out it’s Y/N who by the way is currently in the living room while I’m in the recording room. Her text reads:
Y/N ~ Ignore Seth. I told Leo to not invite him but he’s still here somehow
I send her back a quick reassuring text before answering the guy I now know is named Leo, “No worries, it’s fine.”
“See? The guy can take a joke, you’re all just freaking out over nothing!“ Seth laughs, reminding me and the others of how loud he is compared to us.
Despite acting like it’s no big deal, I can’t help but admit to myself that this behavior of Seth’s has awoken a deeply buried suspicion of mine that’s not only mine but also arises in every guy whose girlfriend hangs out with a lot of guys. It’s not that I don’t trust Y/N - she could literally blindfold me and tell me to walk through a pool of lava, promising it wouldn’t hurt and I’d do it - but we all know about that saying that every guy in a group with one girl has liked said girl at least once.
Disturbing to think these four, including Seth five, dudes could’ve possibly been my competition at some point. It’s nice that they’re all super chill about it, mostly cause some of them have girlfriends as I was told.
Nevertheless, we get over that hiccup and carry on with the small talk and preparations for the game. Since it’s my first time playing CSGO, Y/N, Leo and her other friend Clancy explain the mechanics to me in detail to avoid me getting confused mid-game and getting myself killed. When they finish, we start the round and wait for the game’s algorithm to separate us into two teams which Y/N jokingly refers to as cops and robbers. Unfortunately, the end result of that separation ends up being me getting put in the terrorists’ force with Leo and Clancy while Y/N’s with the FBI, partnered with Seth and her other friend Evan.
“Alright, team, we shall now disperse. Corpse, remember, if you see more than one of them, radio in and lay low, we’ll be with you as soon as possible.“ Leo informs me as he runs off in one direction, Clancy going in the opposite. I confirm I understand and go along my way too, heading for this ancient looking structure that looks like it could belong in an old-timey movie.
Walking in, I realize the place is way bigger than it appeared on the outside. A quick look up confirms that there are three fucking floors above, not to mention that the ground floor is huge. Luckily, there are many crates and barrels to hide behind if I come across an FBI agent. I sure as hell hope it’s Y/N, I could maybe even try talking her into giving me a second chance at life and pretend she never saw me. Come to think of it though, I’d probably prefer getting killed by her rather than her friends - especially Seth.
Given that we’re in a Discord call, I can hear all the conversation going on. They are all quiet though, I can just periodically hear the mumbles of someone muttering to themselves as they navigate the map cautiously out of fear of running into their opponent unprepared. The silence is put to an end though when Seth speaks up, addressing Y/N.
“Yo, your boyfriend’s with the terrorists, ain’t he? That’s like the universe giving you a sign that y’all shouldn’t be together.“ The fucker laughs at his own joke while I can literally hear Y/N rolling her eyes.
“Have you heard of Romeo and Juliet, Seth?“ She asks sarcastically, almost getting a chuckle out of me but I suppress it to avoid getting caught listening in.
“Yeah, they both die at the end. Fucking boooriiinngg.“ Just then, I spot two silhouettes entering the building. Aiming my gun at them reveals their names - just the people I’m currently involuntarily eavesdropping on. Seth and Y/N don’t notice me though so I quickly duck behind a crate and prepare to radio in when Seth continues verbally torturing Y/N and dancing on my last nerves, “I personally think the friends-to-lovers trope is far more interesting...“
Did this guy just- no, he’s gotta be fucking kidding me
I’m left with my jaw hanging in disbelief at this guy’s audacity. I have no doubt Y/N’s about to put him in his place herself but I just gotta have my own chat with this guy. And by ‘chat’ I mean I mindlessly rush out from behind the crate towards where I saw him and Y/N and open fire on him.  I hear his startled and upset screams with Y/N’s laughter in the background. She doesn’t try to stop me as a teammate of his should and would, instead she just observes the scene unfold, laughing her ass off.
“Yo man what the fuck was that for?!“ I hear Seth’s yell but only faintly since the sound of gunshots is still echoing through my headphones. Yeah, I’m not done shooting this fucker.
“Corpse...Corpse, buddy...“ Y/N manages through fits of laughter she cannot tame, “That’s a few too many bullets, he’s already dead.”
“And that was a few too many comments for him to be let off the hook.” I answer as sharply as I can with the new-formed smile on my face. What can I say, her happiness is contagious.
“Well, you got your first kill in CSGO. Good job, babe! I’m super proud of you!” She cheers for me, clapping her hands excitedly.
“Nah that was my first overkill.“ I quickly add, with a more threatening tone: “And it won’t be my last.”
“Let’s just hope there aren’t few too many of these overkills either.“ She snickers.
“That doesn’t depend on me, babe.“ I say smugly, suggestively enough for Seth to pick up the dropped hint. Mother fucker’s officially been put in his place and I couldn’t possibly be happier - with the added bonus of getting a ton of laughter out of Y/N who also decides to walk away, leaving me unharmed but promising to shoot to kill next time she sees me.
I’m ok with that. She could kill me anyday.

Note
yay yay to wet weekends!! one thing i haven’t stopped thinking about lately is the idea of Sid being on a long roadie and calling/facetiming each other just to get off (maybe after a good game or randomly) because you’re both desperate but i can see it being sooo hot and yeah that’s that
warnings: nsfw (18+) light smut, sexual and suggestive themes, facetime sesh and toys!!
The two of you have been agonizingly quiet since Sidney finally got into bed after his evening shower. It had been a back to back loss in New York, having faced the Rangers, and he just couldn’t stand the thought of getting another once they play the Islanders tomorrow.
You rub your eyes, not wanting to fall asleep. Almost a week has gone since you last saw him and having to endure Sidney being away on the road has always been tougher for you than you’d ever admit.
“How was your day?”, asked Sid.
Despite being in a sour mood, you appreciate how he still doesn’t miss on the little things. You give him a smile in acknowledgment.
A tad sleepy, you tell him how your day went about. It was the middle of your term; almost nearing your finals actually. The week where all assessments are flowing into your mail endlessly to be exact. Some were reports— case reviews, court procedures, heavy readings, and all that goes under being in law school. You even remember that you have to practice for another mock session you were about to have as your final exam.
“Rough night, huh? Is there anything you want me to do?” you genuinely ask him, turning to Sidney’s side of the bed— absentmindedly running your hand through it. You miss him. It’s plain obvious.
“Nah. I’m good, baby.” he declines with a smile. You choosing to stay up late for him was already enough.
“I just can’t wait to come home. This series is taking too much from the team.” he frets.
You let out a sigh, “I know you’ll pull through babe. You boys always have. Just think of it as like... a minor hiccup. A fluke, maybe?” you say, trying to make him feel better.
“Thanks, hon.” he smiles, a tired one however.
You fall silent once again, just in the calm of seeing each other on the screen when a thought hits you.
You perk up slightly, resting your back on the headboard, “Hey,” you softly call.
“Hm?” Sid hums, massaging his temples.
“You remember the black box I gave you for valentines?” you ask.
Sidney mutters a soft ‘yeah’ on the other line.
“Well, I kind of snuck it in your suitcase.” you inform him. You prop your back with a pillow, biting on your lower lip as you send him the subtle insinuation. “You wanna?”
Sid immediately answers, his tired voice now emptied and gone, “Right now?”
You nod casually, evidently surprising the fairly old-school fella. “It’s been a pretty rough day for the both of us.” you add.
He’s flustered, but with furrowed brows he still finds the need to ask, “How– how are we even gonna do... it?”
A mischievous smile escapes your lips, “Wait a second.” you tell him as you hurriedly go over one of the dressers to get your half of the battery operated toy.
Sid on the other end was now rummaging through his luggage. Most of his stuff was safely put away and hung in the closet of his hotel room so he didn’t have much of a hard time spotting the black box you were talking about. He also took with him the lube that was tucked under one of the compartments.
Sidney can’t help but shake his head with a faint grin upon seeing how you managed to discreetly place such things exclusively for him. Well, not that anyone would dare look into his things but it was nice to think that you knew him well enough and surprise him.
Sidney got under the covers first. “Babe?” he calls when he sees nothing but the white ceiling of your shared bedroom back in Pittsburgh.
He hears a distant ‘Coming!’ on your end so he waits patiently for you to get back on screen.
Once you do, Sidney’s mouth falls agape as he sees you out of your former nightwear. “You didn’t have to change for this, y/n.” he explicitly says despite the obvious bobbing of his throat.
“Relax. I’m gonna take it off anyway.” you wink, coaxing him as you get comfortable on the captain’s bed.
You proceed on teaching him the basics since Sidney’s - well, pretty conventional to say the least. He has you to thank for getting him into new things such as this. You orient him on how the toys work and how it is connected with the toy you have with you at home. That said, the two of you would basically feel each other’s strokes and pulsations as you delve into your long distance affair.
You were about to take your brassiere off when Sid stops you the minute your hand reaches to unclasp the material on your back, “Don’t take it off.” he says.
“Why?” puzzled, you ask him nonetheless.
“It’s just that - you know how the internet works.” Sidney hushes.
You let out a laugh, a cackle even. “You’re really bothered about the FBI catching an NHL star jack off to his girlfriend, aren’t you?”
Sid rolls his eyes and dismisses your notion. “It’s not the FBI I worry about. We’ll never know. I just don’t want a perverted hacker to catch what I got on my screen.”
“You do know that there’s always ways to deal with that right?” you say, foolishly finding Sidney being his usual self more alluring than when he tries to be sexy.
“Will you please stop lawyering your way into this?” he chuckles in defeat, scratching  his temple. “Just keep ‘em on. Besides, I like that color on you.”
You roll your eyes, “Fine.” You fix your number so he could see more of you on the screen despite still being covered. “Now, may we proceed?”
Sidney bites his lip, “We may, your honor.”
He adjusts himself to get out of his boxer shorts. He squeezes a generous amount of lube into the toy waiting for you to do the same on the other end. You let Sidney watch you fill your fingers with your spit whilst you look at him enticingly; eager to have his skin next to yours. However, given the circumstances that come with being with him, a night like this shall suffice.
“You’re a fucking torture,” he groans; one that’s effortlessly made your belly flutter as if Sidney’s muffled noises were enough to wake all your sleeping senses.
With tired eyes you tell him one thing as the two of you slip on your devices, meeting in between your own ends in the hopes of coming close to what it’s like holding each other, “So are you, Mr. Crosby.”
it’s wet weekends!

1.04 Armony analysis
Okay, first of all, the fact we've only seen four episodes so far is bonkers. I felt we've had at least ten. That's how much story it feels like there's been, and not in a bad way. The relationships are all developed well, things are really well established, and the plot keeps moving forward. Like, it's mind-blowing.
So, we didn't see Arman until almost halfway through (a crime!). But we got some decent stuff. It's interesting how there wasn't any coldness between Armony because of last week. Makes me wonder how much time has passed. Kinda irks me, but maybe after next week's events we'll get some, since the stakes will be higher. Anyway, after Arman pulls Thony into the kitchen and talks to her, he immediately notices she's off. His question about Luca's trial lets us know he's actively interested and keeping track. Dude is invested. She tells him no, and explains the problem. I LOVE how he's so impressed with her thievery. When she brings up Joe, he gets super offended on her behalf, like it's a personal deed against him. I love a protective man. So, he offers her help, and she’s like, okay, but don’t hurt him. He agrees.
Arman confronts him under the guise of buying a car. Then he goes into a tirade about what Joe did to Thony and offers him chump change. Joe, the idiot, denies Arman. So under the cover of darkness, Carlos takes him down, and Arman drives off to the warehouse to put Joe in timeout.
He brings Thony to him and he has this pleased grin (which I missed upon first viewing). I think he thinks he did good on his promise to not hurt him, and is like, see, Honey, I didn’t hurt him; I’m a good boy. Haha, he was so proud of himself. Thony is understandably not, and practically scolds him like a child, demanding to release Joe. He’s like, nah, he’s good. He can sit in his room until he’s ready to apologize. So, then Thony goes in and talks to Joe, but still makes no headway, then goes back out. She still thinks they should let him go. Arman still stands by his earlier decision. He gets the call from the councilman, and the two of them go to the hotel to do damage control. This time when she is in a position to get some incriminating evidence, she doesn’t get it, and takes it straight to Arman, who is grateful for her loyalty. It’s the second time she has such an opportunity in this episode, and I’ll get to the first in a minute.
Thony realizes they’re not going to get what they want out of Joe, so she again asks to take him home. Arman complies, but not before doing a little run-of-the-mill threatening. That is Armony’s last interaction in the episode.
What I saw in this episode is how well Thony and Arman know one another, as well as how good they work as a team. He’s rubbing off on her, and she on him...at least, a little. We also see that she is consciously protecting Arman from her CI stuff. She could have easily had time to drop that pen before he got to the table, but she chose not to. Last week’s stunt may have been a power move to keep the playing field level, but not this week. She cares about what happens to him. I saw @perfectisntalwayssoperfect post about her opinion on next week’s big moment, and I think she’s right: Thony is going to reveal something about the FBI. What else would he be angry about?
Like, say they’re toasting to Luca’s progress. Thony starts playing with her now-bugged necklace. He knows her so well, and can tell she’s troubled. The concern on his face is obvious. So, maybe she confides in him, against her better judgement, meaning well. She knows, and we know he won’t hurt her, but it’s still a risky move.
I honestly CAN’T WAIT to see how everything goes down next week. Jury’s still out on whether or not that hug is part of it. I can see it being later; she’s off in a another part of the hotel...not necessarily hiding, but keeping to herself, as she’s upset. He comes and apologies, and, well, you know my thoughts on the rest.
It’s going to be an awesomely revealing episode for their relationship regardless.

What about a first kisses blurb??
okay this turned into almost a whole one shot (sorry) so i put a cut
word count- 1.4 k
pairing- spencer reid x she/her reader
--
There wasn’t a way out of it.
Spencer could only think that he’s embarrassing his team. He’s reminding the entire FBI Bureau just how unathletic he is. Despite being an esteemed academic, all Spencer really is, is a skinny kid who can’t tell the difference between a shortstop and a first baseman.
Spencer also didn’t want to make a fool of himself in front of Y/N. In front of Hotch is one thing, and even Derek. The last thing that Spencer wanted was to be brought back to high school with taunting teenagers laughing at his ineptitude. He knows, deep down, that Y/N isn’t the kind of person to make a mockery of him
She’s kind and understanding, and has this way with people that makes everyone feel safe and loved. Gazing across the field, Spencer watches Y/N cover what Derek explained was third base. He stood in the outfield, a too tight glove squeezing his hand and a baseball cap on his head. She notices him staring and waves over energetically. Derek must have noticed too because he starts to shout their way.
“Hey, Reid! Look alive,” he yells, looking athletic and strong in his sports clothing, everything that a girl like Y/N would want in a man, “stop daydreaming, Spence,” he shouts, a chuckle telling Spencer he’d teasing.
Watching the rest of the FBI agents run, catch and throw the baseball all with the dexterity and athleticism that Spencer could only dream of, Spencer does the math in his head. The quick statistics tell him that the next batter has a 57% chance of striking out. And if that happens, Spencer is the next at bat. And if he’s at bat, Spencer might as well just start digging his own grave in the field.
Just as the math predicted, the batter strikes out. Derek shouts the line up, Spencer being the first name that he calls. Like he’s walking to his death, Spencer picks up the baseball bat and takes a couple practice swings.
“Hey there, slugger,” Y/N says, walking up to the metal cage, “you’re going to need one of these,” she says, holding up a helmet.
“Wouldn’t want to scramble my brains,” Spencer says, attempting to make a joke, albeit nervously.
“That or mess up that gorgeous face of yours,” Y/N says with a shrug of her shoulders, as she shoves the helmet in his hands.
“Or-or that. That’s an unlikely possibility, though,” Spencer whispers, terrified that the shake in his hands reveals too much. He doesn’t want to read into it, but noticing things is in his nature.
“I wanted to give you something for good luck. A kiss, if that’s okay with you,” Y/N asks, holding Spencer’s hand awkwardly as he clutches onto the helmet. He nods fervently, unsure if this is even real or if it’s a magical dream.
“Okay,” Spencer says, closing his eyes and letting Y/N kiss him. He anticipates feeling her lips against his. For the first time, he’ll get to feel what it’s like to have someone so close he can feel their eyelashes against his skin. He would be able to see the flecks of different colors in her eyes and hear her sigh if he was brave enough to wrap his arms around her, pulling her in even closer.
But it never comes. She kisses his forehead instead and it’s so fast that it’s over before Spencer could even feel it. He’s not upset, but maybe a little disappointed that he truly thought, for even a second, that a girl like Y/N could love a boy like him. It’s self-doubt that settles in despite the burning sensation on his forehead where her lips just were.
Derek slaps him on the shoulder, cheering him on and steering him towards home plate.
“You got this, man,” Derek says, as the ball comes soaring in front of Spencer’s face. With a whack, he hits it, further than he’s ever hit the ball in practice. It flies through the air gracefully and Spencer almost forgets to start running until, from the scream of the crowd he hears Y/N’s voice cheering him on.
It all happens in a flash. Derek’s smiling from ear to ear. JJ and Hotch, their co-coaches, watch happily as Y/N hands out gatorade. Spencer, standing off to the side, makes his way to the far end of the dugout. Elle and Derek rounded up a couple other agents for drinks at the bar, but Spencer declined. It’s embarrassing to go to the bar and constantly be carded in front of his peers, who never get asked. It just reminds Spencer that he’s just a little boy whose heart is ready to take flight from a kiss that’s hardly a kiss. It’s the kind of kiss that a mother gives their kid, not the kind of kiss that you dream of the girl you love giving you.
As if she could read his thoughts, Y/N plops down on the bench next to Spencer. She’s smiling, her face shiny with sweat, but still beautiful and full with life. Spencer thinks he must be rather foolish to think she’d ever want to kiss him.
“You didn’t want to go out with Derek and Elle,” Spencer asks, wondering why Y/N’s hear and not with their co-workers.
“Nah, I’m going to have much more fun with you,” Y/N tells him, “you want to come over? We can make popcorn and watch movies. I promise it won’t be an underdog save game kind of movie, it’s kind of too on the nose,” she says, chuckling at her own joke.
“You want to spend time with me?” Spencer asks, thinking that Y/N must have gotten hit on the head without a helmet on to voluntarily want to hang out with him.
“Of course I do,” Y/N says, nudging him on his shoulder, “you’re funny, cute, and kind. Why wouldn’t I want to spend time with you?”
Spencer blinks, unsure how to answer that question. It’s the first question that he doesn’t know the answer to. He has a sneaking suspicion that if he sticks around with Y/N, there will be a lot of those.
“Spencer,” she says, standing up to face him, “I’d like to get something out of the way. It’s something that I should have asked you a long time ago,” she tells him, cupping his face gently. Spencer, normally not able to read social cues the best, understands this one completely.
“Yes, please,” he says, hoping that he doesn’t sound completely desperate, “please,”
Spencer stands up, and brings his hands to cup Y/N’s face, mirroring her motions. They stand there, hesitant and nervous, not sure who will be the one to make the first move. Spencer’s lips hover over hers and he can feel her breath on his lips, tempting him to just move a millimeter closer. She kisses him, leaning in and kissing him with such passion, you’d think she’d had bottled it up for years. Spencer doesn’t have anyone to compare it to, yet he knows he’ll never want to be kissed by anyone else again. She’s curious, yet considerate to his shy mouth. Giving him the time to explore, learn and trace, Y/N let’s Spencer set the tempo.
She drops her hand from his face, letting it hang at her side. Spencer drops his too, afraid to do the wrong thing, afraid that he’ll mess up and send Y/N running laughing the other way.
“You’re a good kisser,” Y/N says, kissing his cheek through a smile.
But she doesn’t run away, she doesn’t laugh, she doesn’t call him a weirdo for being 23 and not having a first kiss.
“Thank you,” Spencer says, unsure if that’s what you’re supposed to say when you get your first kiss from someone that is thousands of times more beautiful than yourself.
“Anytime,” Y/N says, “and I really really mean that. Like in the middle of the work day, just tap me on the shoulder and point towards your mouth, or like right now again. I’m game, Spence,”
She grabs his hand. Their pinkies link like puzzle pieces that have found their perfect match. And it’s better than any touchdown in the history of baseball.

I’d like to think that I’m able to read people pretty well. Since working as a bartender for the past five years, I can examine an individual and have their personality down pat. Facial expressions, body language, posture, gestures. All these things are basically words to a story that I am able to put together.
My thought process was cut off when I noticed these two guys sitting at the end of the bar. I regarded them momentarily. They don’t look like the typical bar patron, their clothing a little too unseemly for a place like this. They were surveying the area as if looking for something.
I got a side profile of the tan Hispanic man. He had dark curly hair and trimmed facial hair. He was talking lowly to the man he was sitting with, their eyes still skimming all over their surroundings. I couldn’t get a good look at the other guy since his back was to me.
They sat tall, their bodies alert to any movement. It was as if it was their first time at a bar, but I know they were not uncomfortable here. There were no jittery movements from what I can see; no telltale signs that they were nervous. They also were not paying much attention to the people around them, focusing more on random spots within the place. Weird. Are they inspectors? Nah, that can’t be. Drew always gives us a heads up when visitors come. Plus, we got checked a few weeks ago.
The two finally turned towards my direction, and I was able to see the other guy. Wow, he was hot. Like very hot. Loose brown curls sat wildly on his head, looking as if he just rolled out of bed. He had a light stubble going on, highlighting the sharpness of his jaw. Damn, I bet I’d cut myself just touching it. He had a beautiful pair of pink lips. I quickly turned my attention to his left hand, noticing the lack of a ring. No wife, good. Now I need to make sure he doesn’t have a girlfriend or fiancée waiting for him at home.
I trailed my eyes upward, noticing that he was staring at me as well. I felt my face heat up when I saw him smirk. Damn, he caught me checking him out. His companion was also looking at me expectantly. They probably have been trying to get my attention for a while now, most likely to order some drinks. I made my way towards them, smoothing my hands over my jeans.
“Evening fellas, would you like to see a menu?” I asked as I placed some napkins in front of them.
“No thanks, but my partner and I would like to ask you some questions…” said the Hispanic man with a small pause. He quickly looked at my name tag before looking back at me “…(Y/N)”
The fuck? Partners? I didn’t think they were a couple. I did a quick glance over at them. Two Alpha males in a relationship rarely ever work out. They were not physically close to one another either. Sigh, you always fall for the ones you can’t get.
I didn’t answer them, still mentally distraught over this taken man. I’m sure they took my silence as confusion because the Hispanic man went on to explain, “I’m Luke Alvez and this here is Dr. Spencer Reid,” they flashed their badges, showing me some credentials. “We’re with the FBI.” Oh. I glanced toward Dr. Reid, a smile tugging on my lips. Score, we’re back in business.
I figured I might be here for a while so I got myself comfortable. Well, as comfortable as I can get standing behind a bar. I leaned towards them, my hands resting on the bar top. “Well, in that case, fire away.”
“Have you noticed any males here who arrived by themselves? This man likely sits alone, only interacts with women. He presents himself as a charming gentleman. His head would be facing downwards if he were sitting at the bar and he would probably wear some kind of hat to shield himself,” asked Luke.
“That’s roughly 50% of my male patrons, you’ll have to be more specific.”
“Yea, I should have figured that is not much to go by.”
I turned my attention back to the doctor who has yet to say a word, noticing that he was once again looking at random spots around the bar. “Your friend here is awfully quiet.”
At my comment, Spencer finally looked at me. I am sure that time stopped as his honey-colored eyes stared deeply into my own. If it wouldn’t come off strange, I’d stared at them all day.
He eventually turned away from me, “This place has a lot of blind spots.” He pointed to one corner by the back and another near the billiards table. It took a moment for me to comprehend what he was saying since I was distracted by the sound of his voice. He could probably recite Shakespeare and I’d think it was erotica.
He continued talking, oblivious of my swooning. “The man we are looking for does not want to be seen, he’ll know where to be so that the camera can’t spot him. He’ll likely bring the woman he’s talking to there or even over there,” he pointed to another spot, this time it was a small crook partially hidden behind a wall.
“The area by the restroom entrance also has no camera at all so he’ll possibly spend some time there as well,” he finished.
“I’d think I’ll notice some creep hanging near the bathrooms all night,” I remarked. “However, we have a security room in the back if you want to look over some footage.” I pointed to a door opposite the kitchen’s entrance.
“That’ll be very useful, thanks,” Luke reached into his pocket and took out his phone. He turned to Spencer saying “I’ma call Garcia, see if she can run some facial recognition on this guy.” With that, he walked to the security room.
I focused my attention back on Spencer, hoping he’ll stay here a bit longer. “May I ask you a question?”
“You just did,” he said, the damn smirk on his face once again. Smartass.
“Haha, I’m serious,” He didn’t say anything, which I took as my cue to continue. “What exactly does someone like you do in the FBI?”
“Someone like me?” he repeated.
“Well, you do not look like a typical agent,” I stated, and he just raised a single eyebrow at me. “Not to say that you’re probably bad at your job. I’m sure that you’re amazing at whatever it is that you do. I’d just like to know exactly what it is. Like what does your job entail…” Great, out of all times for my motor mouth to talk off, it chose this moment.
Spencer didn’t say anything and the awkward pause was killing me. I wanted to grab his gun and shoot myself in the foot. He probably thought I was insulting him. He continued to watch me as I fidgeted under his stare.
Finally, he decided to show me some mercy. “I use psychology to profile and find people,” he put it simply.
“That’s it?” I questioned.
“Pretty much,” he stated evenly, focusing his attention on the napkin in front of him. His body was slightly tenser than before, telling me that he was uncomfortable. I decided to drop the topic.
I scanned his being in an attempt to find something, anything that would allow me to continue talking to him. He beat me to it. “Which Sherlock portrayal are you a fan of?”
I was momentarily confused as to how he knew I was a fan. “Um, I started watching BBC’s Sherlock but I find the books to be much more interesting than the show. Are you a fan?”
“Of the books, yes. I haven’t had the chance to watch any of the series or films. I always find that reading offers a better experience. That’s a nice pin you have by the way.”
Pin? I looked down and remembered my “I am Sherlocked” pin clasped next to my name tag. Gosh, I feel like an idiot. Just when I was going to reply, I saw Luke stepping out of the security room.
I turned back towards Spencer, who was digging his hand into his pocket. He pulled out a card and gave it to me. “The number of the precinct we are helping is on here. If you have any further information, you should contact them.”
What, no. I don’t want him to leave yet. “But what if I want to talk to you more?”
“My number is on the back.” I flipped the card around and was greeted by a ten-digit code sprawled out in blue ink.
A smile adorned my face as I looked back at him. “How did you do that?” There’s not even a pen near his hands. Unless he carries all these cards with his number on it, which I severely doubt.
“You ask a lot of questions,” he stated.
“I’m a naturally curious person.”
He paused for a moment to dart his tongue across his lips. He made sure to look into my eyes before saying “You know that curiosity killed the cat.”
“But satisfaction brought it back.”
He gave a low laugh, “Touché.”
Just then Luke walked back to us, his phone to his ear. “C’mon man. The team needs us back at the station. There’s been another victim.”
“We’ll talk later,” Spencer said to me. My heart skipped a beat at his words. I felt like a kid who had a childhood crush.
Spencer got up and with one last glance at my direction, the two of them headed out the door.
Well, there goes the best part of my day. I’m being selfish wishing that he would have stayed behind. The man is here to find a criminal, not get his dick sucked. I folded the card and slid it into my pocket before grabbing a rag. These shot glasses aren’t going to clean themselves.
●The Next Day●
I spent the last few hours debating on whether or not I should text Spencer. I tried to distract myself with mundane activities. I watched TV, did my chores, even attempted to read a book, but nothing kept my interest. I grabbed the card that was sitting idly on my dresser, pondering on what to do.
You shouldn’t. But I’m bored and he’s cute. He’s an FBI agent for crying out loud. He got important things to do. What’s the worst that can happen? You could get arrested for obstruction of justice. Or I can get closer to him and find out more about him.
It is settled. I added Spencer’s number to my contacts and perched myself on my bed before sending a short text.
‘Hello Dr. Reid.’ I waited a minute, then two, then three, anxiously hoping for a response back. This was a bad idea, he’s probably at another bar trying to catch this guy. I should just delete his number and make myself a sandwich.
Right when I was going to do just that, my phone vibrated. I never opened my messages so fast in my life.
‘(Y/N). Is everything okay?’
A smile broke across my face as I pondered on what to send him. Should I keep everything cute and sweet? Nah. That’s boring. Should I send some salacious texts? No, he’ll probably think I am some kind of skank. Perhaps I should go for the playful persona?
I finally decided to type out a message, not wanting him to wait any longer. I don’t need him thinking that I’m in actual danger because I don’t know how to respond to a simple text.
‘I’m more than okay now that you’re here.’
I didn’t have to wait long before his next text came in. ‘Is there something that you need?’
Oh Spencer, if only you knew. However, what I want cannot be attained at the moment. I quickly typed across my keypad, ‘That’s a loaded question.’
Apparently he did not like that since his next reply was, ‘I don’t have time for this. I am working right now.’
Well shit, should I stop? Hell no, we are in too deep. Besides, he could always choose to ignore my messages instead of responding. And he did give me his number instead of just leaving me with the precinct’s. With that in mind, I typed out a text and quickly pressed send before I started second-guessing my choices again.
‘So you don’t want to talk to me?’
Again, I didn’t have to wait long for his next message to come through. ‘You should only contact me if you have information pertinent to the man we are looking for.’
That’s bullshit. Why give me your number if you didn’t want me to talk to you? ‘You said we’ll continue the conversation later. It’s later.’
‘Later, When I am not working.’ he clarified.
If I were a smart girl, I would have left this alone so that he could work peacefully. But I’m not. ‘All work and no play makes for a grumpy doctor. Don’t you want some entertainment?’
‘You’re acting childish.’
I couldn’t help but grin at his statement. If only he knew. Well, I could drop him a hint or two. ‘I’ve been compared to a brat before.’
‘I’m not surprised.’
‘I’m a glutton for punishment, agent.’
‘Do you want me to deliver?’
My breath caught in my throat. Could it be? Does Dr. Reid have a darker side to him? Or maybe I’m reading too deeply into this. I don’t care, I’m having too much fun at the possibility of this man having a more unhinged side to him. I wanted to see it. I decided to be cheeky with him, ‘You’d like that, wouldn’t you Sir.’
‘What are you trying to get at?’ One step forward and two steps back. I guess profiling and mind-reading are not one and the same if he has to ask me this. Or maybe he isn’t used to someone asking him to dick them down without outright saying they want him to dick them down.
‘I said it already, I just want to talk to you.’
It took a couple of minutes for his reply to come through. ‘We’ll talk later.’
I decided to give Spencer a break. I got what I wanted with his earlier comment. I ended everything with an ‘I’ll hold you to that,’ and put my phone down. I looked at the clock on my bedside table and saw that an hour had passed. I guess time really does fly when you’re having fun. I might as well start getting ready for work.
●●●
Four hours into my shift and the crowd near the bar was barely manageable. I’m not a big fan of working Friday evenings. I easily get annoyed with the sloppy drunks who think they could hook up with any of the workers but the tips usually make up for it at the end of the night.
I was grabbing some bottles of beer when all of a sudden I got a twisted feeling in my gut. I felt the hairs in the back of my neck stand up, and not in a good way. Call it a sixth sense, but I suspected that something was wrong, very wrong. I placed the bottles down and looked at the countless customers littered around the bar top. My eyes landed on this man who was giving off some creepy vibes.
I’d like to think I had a pretty good memory and this guy was definitely new. He was hunched over, eyes looking at the menu on the table. He was rapidly tapping his finger on top of the table, so I assumed he was feeling uneasy. Every once in a while, his head would peek up, as if he was searching the crowd for someone. He had a baseball cap on, the hat pressed tightly down on his head, his blond hair barely peeking through.
From what I can see he was attractive enough. A full-on beard decorated his face. He had on a leather jacket and a fitted shirt; seemingly trying to give off bad boy vibes. I started making my way towards him, “Is there anything you’d like to order?”
“That depends, are you on the menu?” Ugh. Gag. If I had a dollar for every time some Casanova wannabe used that line on me, I could pay for two months of my rent. He had a smile on his face that could be charismatic but I just found it downright disturbing.
“Food and drinks only. Sorry to disappoint.”
“That’s fine sweetheart, I’ll have whatever beer y’all got on tap.” As I walked away, I could feel his eyes leering at me. Should I text Spencer? No, I dealt with creeps before, this is nothing new.
I turned back to where Mr. Creepy Guy was previously sitting but he was no longer occupying the seat. Fuck. I took a look around the crowded pub, hoping to spot him. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you see it, I did. He was near the bathroom entrance talking to some girl who hardly looked like she could keep herself up.
Shit, I should get Spencer right now. I pondered on whether I should call him but figured that he wouldn’t be able to hear me over the volume of the crowd. I hurriedly pull my phone out of my pocket, trying my best to send the message as fast as my shaky hands can manage.
‘I’m pretty sure the man you’re looking for is here. You should bring some officers ASAP.’
Come on, Come on, Come on, have your cell on you. My phone vibrated, alerting me of a message. Oh thank god yes. ‘Are you serious?’ it read.
What the? Does he think I’m pranking him or something? I angrily typed on my screen, ‘This isn’t exactly something I will joke about Spencer.’
‘We’ll be there soon’ came his simple response. Okay, good. Now I just need to make sure that this guy doesn’t try to escape.
I looked back up and saw Mr. Creepy Guy still near the restrooms. One of his hands was holding on to the girl’s arm and I just knew he was trying to get her out of here. Spencer and company won’t arrive fast enough. I have to do something to make him stay longer.
I turned to my co-bartender, Manny, “I am going to take a 10 minute break.” I didn’t give him a chance to respond before I opened the small door dividing us from the crowd and made my way to Mr. Creepy Guy.
Once I got to the two of them, I spewed the first thing that came to mind, “Uh, excuse me. You um, forgot your drink. You know, the beer. That you ordered. At the bar earlier. About 10 minutes ago.” God, I looked like an idiot, but I couldn’t risk saying something that made him apprehensive.
Mr. Creepy guy sneered at me, “Yeah. I didn’t want it anymore.” Well, who shit in your cereal, mister. Oh right, that would be me. I gotta keep him a bit more distracted.
“Well if you order something, you gotta pay for it. Bar’s policy.” He continued to glare at me upset that I was being a cockblocker. Or more appropriately a murderblocker. Realizing that I wasn’t going away soon, he pulled a bill from his pocket before throwing it at me.  Wow I wonder where his pleasant attitude disappeared to.
I turned my attention to this poor girl and noticed she wasn’t looking too good. I assumed she was drunk but she looked way off it; as if she had been drugged or something.
Fucking hell, she probably has been. She can’t stand on her own two feet and she could barely stop her eyes from drooping downwards.
“Your friend here doesn’t look too good,” I commented, my hand already going towards the arm he wasn’t currently holding on to.
“She’s fine. We were just about to leave, right Sarah?” he asked the girl. ‘Sarah’ didn’t say a word, too busy trying her best to not crash down on the floor.
“Nonsense, we can’t have you leaving in such a state, it would look bad on us,” I improvised. “We’ll give her something real quick to help sober her up.” I hastily scanned the room, spotting Hannah, one of my coworkers, a few feet away.
“Hey Hannah,” I shouted, garnering her attention. I gestured for her to come here and she started walking over. When she stood in front of us, I pried ‘Sarah’ out of Mr. Creepy Guy’s hold and gently ushered her into Hannah’s arms.
“This is Sarah and she’s not feeling all that well. Can you tell Manny to give her the Queen’s special?” Hannah instantly knew what was up. The Queen’s special is our code name for helping those who we believe are in an uncomfortable or dangerous situation. Most of the time, the person is coherent enough to ask for help, but for these kinds of scenarios we’ll have to rely on our own wits.
The two walked, or in Sarah’s case, stumbled away. Hannah managed to give Mr. Creepy Guy a glare which he openly returned in my direction. I gave him a small smile, hoping he didn’t get suspicious and try to leave.
“She’ll be right back, would you like that beer while you wait?” I asked.
“No, you did enough,” He jeered, taking slow steps back. I could have sworn he muttered ‘fucking bitch’ as he disappeared in the crowd, no doubt hightailing it out of here.
Crap, I should follow him. At least I’ll be able to tell the cops what direction he went or what his license plate number is. I started walking to the exit, shoving my way through the sweaty mass of people.
Once I got to the door, I pushed it open feeling the cool air hit my face. I looked around, trying to see if I could find Mr. Creepy Guy but to no avail. I walked a few steps down, searching to see if he went down an alley or something.
The place was eerily quiet and my nerves were starting to get the best of me. I suddenly felt a hand roughly grab my shoulder and let out an ear-piercing scream. I whirled around, my hand already in a fist to punch the living daylight out of this person.
Right when my hand was going to make contact, a hand closed around my fist. No problem, I’ll just kick you in the shin. My leg was about to leave the ground when I heard a stern “Calm down (Y/N).”
I know that voice. For the first time, I looked up and saw that it was Spencer behind me. I never realized beforehand how easily he towered over my form. He released my hand and I leaned my body against the wall next to me. The adrenaline from earlier leaving me.
“What the fuck Spencer, a little warning next time,” I angrily shouted at him. “You could have said my name before grabbing me or just tapped my shoulder. I don’t like being manhandled.”
“I severely doubt that,” he whispered. Wait, what. “Is the man still inside?” he asked in a louder voice than before.
“Um no. That’s the reason why I came out here. I was trying to find where he went.”
“And you decided to check an alleyway.” I casted my eyes down, paying attention to a piece of gravel on the floor. The tone of voice he was using made me feel as if I was in trouble. “Do you know what kind of danger you just put yourself in?  What if it was him behind you instead of me just now?” he chastised.
“I was fighting back,” I retorted.
“And you were losing that fight. You had no weapon of any kind to help defend yourself. You are no match for a fully grown male who sees girls like you as nothing but property,” Spencer snapped.
I felt miffed that he was scolding me about my safety but a pathetic part of me was turned on as well. I decided to switch this conversation back to what was important. “He’s a Caucasian man. About 5’9 with dirty blonde hair and facial hair. He had a Salem Red Sox cap and a faux black leather jacket. Burgundy henley shirt with black washed jeans and white Adidas,” I recounted from my memory.
He recited everything word for word into his radio. “Go back inside, we’ll take care of it from here.”
“You’re fucking welcome by the way,” I sarcastically stated. Before I could blink, Spencer slammed his hands on either side of my head and was staring intently into my eyes. I felt my heart rate pick up instantly. I didn’t know whether to be scared or horny so my body decided on both.
He had a carnal look in his eyes and I felt a light shiver run down my spine. His tongue darted out, wetting his lips. It was as if it happened in slow motion, my eyes hungrily following the movement. He opened his mouth to speak and I was eagerly anticipating his words.
“Reid, come in. We need you for backup.” What the..? It was then that I noticed his comms were still on and one of his team members was trying to get his attention.
“Go back inside,” Spencer repeated, “We’ll continue this later.” Yeah fucking right. This is the third time you’ve told me this in the thirty hours I’ve known you. Nevertheless, I obeyed but it wasn’t because he told me; it was because I got paid by the hour and I was already gone for over fifteen minutes. At least that’s what I kept telling myself as I walked back inside.
I turned around to get a glimpse of his retreating form but he was already gone.
●●●
It was past midnight and I had about forty-five minutes left until my shift ended. The place was a lot emptier right now, which is pretty shocking. However, I’m guessing no one wanted to be around and get wasted when the cops were roaming about barely an hour ago.
I was pouring some shots for this couple when I felt a vibration in my pocket. I finished serving the duo before fishing my phone out, opening my messages straight away. ‘We caught the guy.’
I didn’t bother reading the name, knowing already who it was. Is it wrong of me to be a bit upset? I’m happy there’s one less criminal on the streets but I wanted to see Spencer some more.
Hmmm. There’s still a chance to make something happen, but I can’t mess it up. I quickly typed, ‘I should get a reward. I did help you catch the guy.’
I assumed that I’d have to wait a few minutes for him to respond but that was not the case. ‘And what is it that you want?’ It’s now or never.
‘You.’
I’m guessing he had his phone glued to him right now because his reply was immediate. ‘You don’t know who you’re dealing with.’
‘I’m not scared Spencer.’ If I didn’t know any better, I’d think he didn’t want me. But all the heated moments we had shared thus far had to have meant something.
‘You should be, I’m not the man that you need.’ was his reply.
I decided to be a bit cheeky, remembering that it gave me some results when I was messaging him earlier today. ‘You’re a man and I am in need, that’s more than enough for me. Save the rest for the pillow talk.’
I didn’t even get to put my phone down before his next text arrived. ‘This isn’t a good idea.’
Damn, this man is a hard nut to crack, but he has made me stubborn for him. I guess I’ll have to use my ultimate weapon.
Taking note of my surroundings, I dimmed the brightness of my phone and made sure to keep it close to my body. I don’t need any of the customers or coworkers to have a sneak peek into my secret album. I opened the app that holds all of my inappropriate photos, pondering on which one I should send to Spencer.
My eyes landed on one I took pretty recently. I’m not trying to sound conceited or anything but I looked fucking hot. It was erotic and sensual, but not overly so.
I was lying on my bed, one hand holding onto my chest while the other held the phone up. My fingers were spread apart, allowing for the taunt nipple of my left breast to peek out. The dim lighting of the lamp helped accentuate the curves of my body. The picture includes the lower half of my face, where I was biting down on my lower lip. I was wearing a white lacy thong that barely left anything for the imagination.
I quickly clicked on the photo and made it so that he’ll have to download the image before seeing it. I added the caption Warning, it’s a bit NSFW, before hitting send. Crossing my fingers, I hoped for a reply soon.
I waited and waited but my phone did not notify me of any new messages. Five minutes have passed and I was shit out of luck. Welp I tried. Now I gotta pick up my pride from the floor.
Suddenly, I felt my phone vibrate and I felt happiness immediately taking over. At first, I thought it was a text message, except the vibrations kept going and going. Realization hit me, it’s an incoming call. I grabbed it quickly, a small squeal leaving my mouth when I saw Spencer’s name appear. I accepted the call and put it towards my ear.
“Hello Dr. Reid, to what do I---“
“When does your shift end?” he interrupted. Well hot damn, no waiting around now huh.
“20 minutes,” came my simple reply.
“I’ll be outside,” and with that, he hung up the phone. Wow, I can’t believe that actually worked.
The next 20 minutes were by far the slowest time has ever went. I kept glancing at the clock, watching as each minute passed at a pain strikingly slow pace. Once it was 12:58 A.M, I already had my bag on my shoulder with my hand on the dividing door.
I made a quick mental check on the inventory I had in my purse. Wallet, check. Phone charger, check. Travel toothbrush, check. Bobby Pins, check. Condom, check. Deodorant, check. Extra panty, check. Yup, I’m ready. I’ve had too many spontaneous sleepovers to not be prepared for evenings like this.
I looked at the time and saw that it was finally 1:00 A.M. I zipped right out of here, making sure to shout my goodbyes as I made my way to the exit. Once out the door, I turned towards the corner and immediately spotted Spencer waiting for me.
I made my way towards him with the biggest smile on my face. “Hi, Spencer.”
“Get in,” he demanded.
“Why the haste?” I asked with a teasing tone behind my words.
“I’ve wasted enough time when it comes to you.” That’s a good enough reason for me. He got in the driver seat while I made my way to the passenger’s side, placing my bag on the floor near my feet.
“My house is a 20-minute drive,” I informed him. “You’ll just have to make a lef—“
“No,” he cut me off. “The hotel I am staying at is 10 minutes away from here.” And this is why I always pack the necessities.
“Alright, you’re in charge, Sir.”
Spencer didn’t respond to my little quip, choosing instead to turn the car on. Fine, play that game of yours. As soon as I put my seat belt on, he pulled out and started driving.
We’ve only been in the car for a couple of minutes before I got a bit antsy. I never did like quiet rides. I turned to him “What took you so long to get Mr. Creepy guy?”
His eyes fleetingly dashed towards my direction before focusing back on the road. “Who?”
“The man that you were looking for,” I clarified.
“We had to be sure it was him,” he stated.
“My description wasn’t enough for you.”
“It was helpful but we had to be certain. He eventually confessed to the crimes while under custody.”
“Oh,” I said. “Umm do you have a girlfriend?” A girl gotta make sure that she wasn’t becoming a homewrecker.
“A. What,” he asked. I’m pretty sure he heard me but I repeated myself anyway.
“A girlfriend. Or a boyfriend. Somebody waiting for you at home?”
“I do not. I am not in a committed relationship.”
“That’s cool. Neither am I if you’re wondering,” I said. “So did you like my picture?” Apparently, my mouth does not know when to stop. Although I must admit, I’m curious to know what he thought of it.
We stopped at a red light and he gazed at me before saying “I was with my team when I got your little message. They were wondering why I got quiet all of a sudden.” I would have laughed if he didn’t have such a dark look on his face. “I did not appreciate their curiosity as to what was going on.” The light turned green, and he started driving faster now. Do FBI agents get speedy tickets for booty calls?
“Does that mean you did not like it?”
Spencer didn’t respond and I was about to ask him something else when I realized the car was parked. Oh we’re here, that was fast. He got out and went to open my door for me.
“Wow, what a gentleman.” Still no response from him. I picked up my bag and hopped out while he closed the door behind me. He made sure to lock it before grabbing my hand and leading me to the hotel’s entrance.
I couldn’t even appreciate the interior of the place since Spencer was dragging me to the elevators. He finally spoke after pressing the button for the doors to open. “I’m giving you one more chance to turn back.”
“And miss out on the fun, no way.”
The doors to the lift opened and we stepped inside. They didn’t even close fully before he pushed me against the wall and crashed his lips against mine. Fuck, the moan that left my body was embarrassingly loud; I am sure the receptionists heard it.
I went to put my arms around Spencer’s neck but he grabbed my hands and pinned them to the wall before my fingers could even touch his shoulder.  His knee drew my legs apart, resting in between my thighs. A shudder ran through me, which caused him to tighten his hands around my wrists. I liked that he was releasing the wilder side of him; the side that he kept hidden from others.
He sucked my bottom lip between his and bit down on it. Instinctively, I opened my mouth which he took as a green light to plunge his tongue inside. It was sloppy, it was raunchy, but I loved it.
I was about to start grinding my pelvis against his knee when the elevator doors dinged open. As quickly as he came upon me, he pulled apart. Spencer grabbed my hand once again and tugged me down a hallway. After a few steps, we stopped in front of the door and he went to grab his key from his pocket.
I took the moment to admire him. He was still wearing what I assumed to be his work clothes. His hair looked even more messy than usual. I’d like to think that he was running his hands through it while debating on what to do with me. His eyes seemed darker, no longer the honey orbs I was captivated by the day prior. Nonetheless, they were still beautiful. His lips, my god those lips of his. Puffed out and more pink than normal. I just wanted to kiss him again.
Spencer opened the door to his room holding it open for me. Once we were inside, with the door fully closed this time, he pulled me into another hungry kiss. One of his hands held my face as the other landed on my waist. I dropped my purse on the floor, my hands promptly losing themselves in his hair.
My mouth immediately opened up, wanting to feel his tongue pressed alongside mine once more. He used the hand that was holding my waist to pull me closer until I was flushed against his body. I felt hot. Too hot. I wanted to rip off my clothes and his at this very moment.
Suddenly his face pulled away, much to my disappointment. We were trying to catch our breath as we looked at one another.
“I want you on your knees,” he rasped. I’d love nothing more but we wouldn’t be here if I were obedient.
“And if I say no?” I asked.
“Don’t pretend you’re some kind of bad girl because we both know that is far from the truth.”
“Your profiling skills need some work if you think I am a good girl who follows the rules.”
He tightened his grip on my waist. “I never said you were a good girl.”
“Then what am I?”
“You’re a cock hungry dirty whore who is going to get on her knees or be bent over mine. Your choice.” Well, who am I to argue against such logic. Although the idea of being spanked by him is exciting, I rather see him come undone by me. And on me.
I slowly sunk down to my knees as Spencer started removing his belt and unbuttoning his slacks. I helped him drag his pants and boxers down, low enough to unveil his hard dick. My mouth salivated at the sight of him and I pressed my thighs closer together. Maybe I am a cock hungry dirty whore.
I placed one hand on him, feeling the heated skin against my cooler palm. His dick gave a slight twitch at the difference in temperatures. I closed my hand, delighted by the fact that I couldn’t fit my whole first around his cock. Leaning forward, I placed a small tentative kiss on the head. I glanced up, seeing that he had his poker face on.
Now that wouldn’t do, I want to see Spencer Reid lose control because of me.
I pulled my hand back and brought it to my face. I licked the length of my palm before placing it at the base of his cock again. My opposite hand settled on his thigh to help balance myself. I leaned forward once more and lightly licked the tip before placing it inside my mouth. I sucked gently while firmly grasping the base. He rewarded me with a small grunt.
I moved down, slowly taking him inch by inch. I made sure to get him as wet as I can while gliding my lips against him. My hand pumped the remaining length that couldn’t fit in my mouth. He started to become more and more erect.
“You like this don’t you?” Spencer groaned out, “You’re such a filthy slut for me.” How is it possible that the sound of his voice is making me aroused? He placed his hands on my hair, fisting his fingers among the locks.
I moaned at his words, bobbing my head up and down at a faster pace. I moved my hand to cup his sac, giving him a gentle massage between my fingers. He gave out a choked sound as he started to slowly thrust his hips.
I drew back and kissed my way down his cock until my lips met my hand. I placed my mouth on one of his balls and gave one a light suck before running my tongue around it. “Fucking hell,” Spencer loudly exclaimed, as I returned the same ministrations to the neglected one.
I pulled away with a small pop and dragged my tongue from base to tip. My eyes looked up at him, and the sight was sexy as fuck. His mouth was opened as he was trying to catch his breath, his face slightly flushed. There was a light sheen of sweat on his forehead and the veins on his neck were more prominent.
I made sure Spencer’s eyes landed on mine as I wrapped my lips around his now full length. He started thrusting more earnestly this time as my hand went back to massaging his balls. I continued eye contact as I bobbed my head up and down on his cock.
He tightened his hands on my hair harshly, which made me more wet. Great, on top of being a cock whore, I am a pain whore. This man is bringing the worst out of me and I’m loving it.
I made sure to hollow my cheeks and swirl my tongue around his head every time I returned back up. I didn’t think I’d have this much fun with a cock in my mouth. Once I dipped my tongue against his slit and firmly clasped my hand over his sac, it was over for him.
Spencer took over and held my head in place as he started to thrust within me. I tried my best to maintain eye contact, despite the tears swelling up. My other hand clutched at the skin of his thigh, raking my nails over him. His groans were a sweet symphony to my ears. Just when I thought he was about to release himself, he stopped and pulled away from me.
“Why’d you stop?” I pouted, my lips feeling very sensitive as they moved against each other.
He panted heavily and loudly, “I don’t want to cum yet.” I couldn’t stop myself from smiling at the sight of him. He was a mess and it was all because of me.
“But I wanted to taste you.” My hand went back to grab him but he stopped me with a sharp tug of my hair.
“Behave or you won’t get a reward for sucking my dick so well,” he said flatly.
Ohh, I’m curious as to what a reward from Spencer Reid entails. He pulled me up and I had to place my hands on his chest for balance. As my legs were regaining feeling, he was staring at my face. I can already imagine what he sees. Tear stained face with puffy eyes and swollen lips. Apparently, he liked the sight because he pulled me into another kiss.
This one was much more tender than our previous kisses. His lips were soft, as if afraid they would irritate my already swollen ones. His hands cradled my head, gently tilting it up so he has better access. His tongue swirled against mine and I was surprised he wasn’t repulsed by his taste on me. So many guys would find this to be disturbing.
Spencer slowly pulled away from me. He looked into my eyes as he said, “I want you to strip then bend over the bed.”
“What if I don’t?” His once gentle hands on my face are now gripping my cheeks, making my lips pucker. He continued to stare at me and it took everything within me not to moan at his actions.
“I think you know what would happen if you don’t, do you really want that?” As much as I would have loved to mess with him some more, I did not want it at the expense of my orgasm. I’m too horny to be acting recklessly.
I started stepping away from him, doing as he requested. I would have taken my time removing my clothes, but I was too impatient. As I pulled down my panties, I noticed how damp they were. This man has made me wanton and soaked without even touching me yet.
I went over to the bed, placing myself in the desired position. The bed was tall enough where my feet were still firmly on the floor but I didn’t need to bend my knees to keep my stomach flat against the mattress.
I watched Spencer strip out of his clothes, making note of the mismatched socks he had on. Aww cute. Once he was bare, he walked up behind me and placed his hands on my hips. For a few seconds, he did nothing while I was readily anticipating his next move.
Finally, I felt his hand cup my mound and I gasped at the feeling. “You’re so wet. All of this because you had my cock in that dirty mouth of yours.” I shuddered at his words, the hairs on my arm rising up.
He started rubbing at my lower lips, spreading the arousal that has already formed all over me. “You have nothing to say now that I got my hands on you huh,” he continued, stroking his fingers against my core.
Just when I was about to say something, he sunk a single finger inside me. I inhaled sharply and buried my head into the sheets. I tried my best to move against him but the hand resting on my hip kept me at bay. He was methodical with his actions, pressing his finger against my walls as he moved in and out.
“Your pretty little cunt is taking my finger so well. You think you can handle another one?” I still couldn’t reply to him, too busy trying to even out my breathing. He then entered another finger. I moaned as he started diligently working those dexterous digits inside of me. My pussy was throbbing while he was working wonders.
A loud moan was torn out my body as Spencer’s fingers curled against my G-spot. “Oh you liked that, dirty girl,” he growled out. He curled his fingers once again and I let out an equally loud whine. He continued this every time he returned his fingers back inside of me; my throat releasing a moan whenever he did so. You’d think with all the time I spent staring at his hands that I’d be ready for him but that’s a big no.
My body was warming up and I could feel the heat pooling within me. I was a goner when a third finger entered me. He tightened his hand on my hip and I prayed that it would leave marks. I wanted to admire the bruises when this was all over.
I closed my eyes and tried to focus on the pleasure racking my body. I was so close to finding my release. The way I was pulsating around his fingers was a telltale sign that I was upon my release.
“You want to come, dirty girl, you want to come all over my hand?” he fiercely whispered. All I could do was nod against the comforters, my voice long gone by now.
I felt myself pulse and tighten around him. With just one more curl of his fingers, I was about to climax. But he suddenly pulled out and released me.
“What the fuck?” I screeched, voice coming back with a vengeance. “You said I was going to get rewarded you teasing bastard.”
“And you are. Now shut up before I change my mind.” For once, I stayed quiet, only because I really wanted an orgasm. It is the least he could do after making me all hot and bothered.
I turned my head back, wanting to see what Spencer would do next. I whimpered when I saw him put his fingers in his mouth, licking my essence off of him. I watched as he took his time, my pussy continuing to throb at the sight.
“You taste pretty good for such a whore,” he remarked once he was done. I saw him walk towards the nightstand and grab a foil packet. Excitement coursed through my veins, my body barely staying still.
He was behind me once again, and I was ready for him. I felt him rub the head against my lips, pressing down when it met my clit. He continued doing this, moving up and down against me, making sure to coat himself in my arousal. I started to wiggle my hips against him, hoping to gain some more friction.
A loud moan was torn out of my throat when Spencer suddenly grabbed my hips and buried himself inside my pussy. He let out a groan as he stilled within me. We had a moment to adjust to one another before he started rocking against me. He was hitting me deep, touching places that I didn't know were possible.
“Spencer, you feel so fucking good,” I mewled out, enjoying the feel of his cock against my walls.
He kept a steady rhythm, making sure to pull halfway out before pushing back in. Small moans left my mouth as I tried my best to return his thrusts. His hands on my hips did not allow for much movement, reminding me that he was the one in charge of my pleasure.
My body moved rhythmically against the bed, my sensitive nipples rubbing against the sheet, adding to this blissful feeling. I was burning up from the sensations wrecking my body.
“I want you to touch yourself,” Spencer growled out. I let my hand trailed down my stomach but paused when they got to my lower abdomen. I felt a bump form at my lower abdomen every time he entered me, which only added to my desire. I tightened around him and he let out a groan before giving me a powerful thrust as a warning.
My hand continued its descent to my clit, fingers rubbing against it once they met. Spencer increased the pace, slamming his hips against my ass. My legs started to tremble, my orgasm looming over my body. My hand continued to play with my clit while the other gripped the sheets tightly. I bit down on the comforter, trying my best to quiet down my moans.
One of Spencer’s hands grabbed my hair and pulled my head up. “None of that, I want to hear you. I want everyone in this hotel to know what a filthy little bitch you are. My filthy little whore,” he grunted out.
It was all too much for me. His voice, his cock, his hands. I felt wave after wave of pleasure as my release washed over me. I cried out his name; submitting to the ecstasy my body was experiencing. My muscles went limp as I attempted to return air into my lungs.
I heard Spencer grunt as my pussy pulsed and creamed around him but that did not stop his relentless pace. “Keep touching the clit of yours, I want you to come one more time.”
“I can’t,” I whimpered. I was still recovering from the powerful orgasm I just had. I won’t be able to have another one so soon.
But Spencer Reid was nothing if not diligent. “You can and you will.”
His hand that was in my hair joined mine between my legs. His fingers were so much better than mine. He pressed firmly against my clit, keeping a steady motion against me. He snapped his hips harder, the slight pain making me feel that familiar coil in my stomach.
“I know you have one more in you for me. I want you to give it to me” he uttered. I’m not sure how he is able to do it, but I felt my body start rising again.
“Sp-Spencer. Please.” I didn’t know what I was begging for as I stammered those words out. His hand between my legs pressed harder and his rhythm against me started wavering. I knew he was close to his release, but I was right there with him.
When he pinched my clit firmly against his fingers, I mewled out his name once more. The coil snapped and I couldn’t help the way I trembled once more. My body quaked against his as the shock waves overcame me. I felt as if lightning was running across my nerves.
Spencer thrusted three more times before tensing against me. I felt him jerk and spill himself inside of me. He dropped down, pressing his chest against my back and whispering my name in my ear. We both tried to catch our breaths as we came down from our high.
After a few minutes, Spencer pulled out of me and walked to a door which I assumed led to the bathroom. I’m guessing he went to dispose of the condom. I continued to lie on the bed, trying my best to catch my breath. My body was still on an all-time high, still reeling from the aftershocks of my climax. I fought against the drowsiness of my eyes, wondering how the hell I am going to stay alert on the cab ride home.
“How are you feeling?” I couldn’t even jump in surprise. I had no idea he returned and was standing right next to me. “I wasn’t too rough?”
“Best. Sex. Ever,” I drowsily responded. Spencer picked me up and maneuvered my body so that I was lying on my back. He grabbed a bottle that was standing on the nightstand; squeezing some cream into the palm of his hand. He rubbed his hands together and started massaging the lotion onto my legs. He focused his attention on my knees and thighs.
“Do you want some water? He asked. I nodded my head and he immediately went to the snack bar area. He grabbed a bottle and what looks to be a granola bar. He uncapped the bottle and gently fed the water to me.
“Do you want some food,” I shook my head at his question. “Is there anything else I can do for you?”
“Cuddles” came my whispered response. Spencer smiled at me before settling on the bed next to me. He draped the blankets over our bodies and wrapped his hand over my waist, pulling me close.
“Goodnight Spencer.”
“Goodnight (Y/N).”
The last thing I felt was the press of his lips against my neck as my body surrendered itself to the sweet bliss of slumber.

Gibbs x female reader
Summary: Gibbs can’t find his hoodie because Y/N is finding comfort in it.
Thank you so much to @hopscotchandlemon for reading this for a second opinion and giving me encouragement to post it!

———————
Y/N sat on her favorite chair. She was curled up with a blanket and a book she hadn’t even opened yet, because she couldn’t stop thinking about Jethro Gibbs. A man she had met many years ago on the first of many cases she worked together. Y/n was a forensic anthropologist who often helped NCIS or the FBI with cases.
Early this week they had just finished a case, but not before Y/N was captured by the killer at a crime scene. She had gone with Gibbs to help identify another body, which was a usual task for her. What they didn’t know this time was that the new scene was a trap. The suspect was the one that called it in by the time Gibbs realized what was going on it was too late. Y/N was used as leverage by the killer before Gibbs and the team got her to safety.
She shivered as she thought of the case and snuggled deeper into the sweatshirt she was wearing. Mind drifting back to it’s owner.
She was sitting on the edge of the ambulance after her brush with danger, Gibbs hadn’t left her side since he’d got her back from the suspect. Even when she was being checked by EMS and he was briefing Tony, he was still close enough to hold her hand if she needed. She shivered from the cold after the EMT checked her blood pressure and Gibbs quickly shed his sweatshirt he had donned when he was called away from his house that night. He gently slid it over her head and assisted her in sliding it on.
If she wasn’t already secretly in love with him, that would have sealed the deal.
The though made her pull her phone off the table next to her and dial the number of the only person who could ease her mind.
“Yeah Gibbs” she heard his gruff answer through the phone.
“Hey, you working on the boat?” She asked.
“Hey,” he said, voice getting softer when he realized it was her. “nah just got out of the shower why?”
“You answered all professional, like you didn’t know it was me.” She said with a small smile he could hear through the phone, causing him to smirk softly.
“I didn’t, looking for something to wear.” She heard him shuffling through his closet and tried not to picture him in just a towel.
“Mm, got a hot date?” She asked nervously. And heard him huff a laugh.
“Yeah with some bourbon and a hand sander.”
“Ooo sounds steamy” she laughed and her heart melted at his chuckle.
“How are you-“ he stopped his question short, huffing a “dammit.”
“Wow aggressive, I’m okay.” She laughed
“No, I can’t find- have you seen my hoodie?”
“Nooooo” she said guilty as she snuggled further into it. She had purposely “forgotten” it when she had gone to NCIS for her debrief the day before.
“You’re wearing it aren’t ya?” He asked with a smile.
“I mean I was just held hostage... doesn’t that give me a little leeway?” She asked and accidentally sniffed a bit, giving away her true state of overthinking and crying. Of course Gibbs didn’t miss it.
“Hey, you okay?”
“Yeah I just-“
“don’t need to lie Y/N/N”
“Been better” she sniffed again.
“Hence the hoodie?”
“Yeah, needed some comfort.” She admitted
“I could do you one better.” He offered and she heard him going down the stairs, his keys jingling and his front door open.
“Gibbs you don’t need to come-“ she began, and even she knew she didn’t sound convincing.
“Save it I’m on my way.” He cut her off and she let a relieved sigh.
“Thank you”
“Mhm, see you soon” he said before hanging up.
By the time he let himself in with his ‘emergency’ key that was more often than not used for things that weren’t emergencies, Y/N had fallen asleep in her chair and was already having a nightmare. She had been having them whenever she closed her eyes since that night.
“Hey, hey, shhh” Gibbs soothed as he gently woke her up.
“Jethro!” She whispered and reached for him. She rarely called him that, but he didn’t have much time to think about it. Instead he scooped her up in his arms, shifting so he was in the chair and she was on his lap.
“Thank you! “ she whispered as she snuggled into his embrace.
“For the sweatshirt?” He smirked
“Noooo. For-“
“You never have to thank me for being here Y/N.” He ensured, kissing her head.
“You’re always taken care of me.” She sniffed and nuzzled into his shoulder.
“Mm we take care of each other.” He hummed.
She looked up and nodded at him.
“Jethro,” she said, surprising him with his first name again. He looked at her softly, urging her to continue. “If I try to kiss you right now are you gonna stop me?”
“I should” he sighed. Truthfully, he never wanted to stop her.
“Why?” She deflated
“You were just held hostage y/n/n.”
“So what’s made me want to kiss you for the past 3 years then?” She asked quietly, rubbing her thumb across cheek.
“Y/N-“
She leaned in and his hand went to cup her face.
“I’m not gonna regret it J.”
He knew he’d never stop her, and knew she’d never kiss him just to escape, she wasn’t like that.
“I trust you” she whispered.
He finally gave in to his years of love and want, capturing her lips with his.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and enjoyed being so close to him, In every way.
When they pulled away they smiled to each other before Y/N laid her head on his chest. She smiled up and him as his arms tightened around her.
“This looks good on you” he said, tugging on his own red sweatshirt sleeve that she was wrapped in.
“Mmm I’m torn between trying to keep it, or giving it back because it looks good on you.”
He chuckled and kissed her head.
“You keep it, I have the black one that you like.”
It made her smile that he knew how much she loved him in his black USMC sweatshirt.
“So is that like giving me your varsity jacket? You asking me to go steady gunny?” She asked running her fingers through his hair.
“Maybe I am” he said kissing her.
“Good” she said laying her head back down and falling into the first peaceful sleep either had had in a while. Both happy to finally let themselves be together.

Something New: Jimmy Woo x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You become pretty fond of the cute FBI agent that comes to your coffee shop every morning.
Words: 900+
Warnings: none, maybe spoilers for episode 6 and 7 if you squint (it’s only mentioned in subtext)
Author’s Notes: I don’t think I’ve ever written an actual coffee shop AU before lol, but I had to write this idea with Jimmy, he’s one of my faves hehe

You can’t help but wonder who this mysterious man is, always coming in at the same time every morning, ordering the same three coffees, and wearing an FBI jacket.
Even when you’re not working at the counter, you’re usually hanging out somewhere in the coffee shop, doing whatever you need to on your laptop in the calming environment. Since he’s come here every day for the past couple weeks, he knows you by name and always waves to you as he heads out wherever you are. It almost feels like you have an unspoken friendship, despite not exchanging any words besides “hellos” and “how are yous.”
You always look forward to seeing his handsome face, even though you know you’ll probably never know him any deeper. He seems like a nice guy, and you suppose the three coffees he always orders are for friends or family.
“Jimmy! Hey!” you greet him as he walks up to the register. “The usual, I assume?”
“Yes, thank you,” he nods. “Actually, could I add another one to that?”
“Yeah, sure! What would you like?”
“Could you make me your favorite drink?”
“My favorite?” you question.
“Yeah, I’m feeling like I want to try something new,” he smiles. “It can be anything, be as creative as you want,”
“Alright!” you laugh, finishing punching in the numbers and sliding his credit card.
You turn around and get to it, the first three drinks you already know by heart. Then you start on your personal favorite, taking advantage of all the secret ingredients available to you. You’ve never asked exactly which of the three coffees is his, so you’re not sure what his personal taste in coffee is like, so you hope it’s not too disappointing.
Before you put it in the tray, you hesitate. You don’t want to overthink it, but did he ask for your personal favorite for a reason? Did he like you, maybe?
No, no, you can’t get caught up in daydream land again. He was probably just curious, wanted to be friendly.
But writing your number on the cup wouldn’t hurt, would it?
Before you can convince yourself out of it, you scribble it down. You double check that all the lids are secure and then hand him his order.
“Have a great day!” you say.
“You too!” he waves, going on his way.
 -
The next morning, he doesn’t show up at his normal time.
Or any time, for that matter.
Was it you? Did you scare him away?
Did something come up? Should you be worried?
You try to ignore all the questions bouncing around your head while you work. You need to be focused, and other customers are still counting on you.
You’re halfway through making an iced mocha when your co-worker comes up to you, “Hey, where was that cute FBI guy today?”
You shrug, finishing pouring the drink and labeling it, “Not sure,”
“I heard there’s been some weird government agency stuff over near Eastview, maybe he’s involved with that,”
“I don’t know,” you shake your head, continuing to make drinks. “I barely know him,”
“Oh come on, I saw you write your number on his cup yesterday,”
“Shut up,”
“Hey, no need to get defensive, I was just wondering if you knew anything,” they laugh. “You better claim him quick though, or I might shoot my shot,”
They walk away and you roll your eyes.
Maybe he really is just on a top-secret dangerous case, or maybe he had to move somewhere else last minute. It’s not like you know anything about all these agencies, especially the ones involved with superheroes. He’s probably fine.
 -
You have another shift later at night, the time of day where the shop is mostly full of college students on the verge of mental breakdowns. It’s pretty slow, as most people buy what they want and then sit down for a while until the shop closes.
You spend the free time cleaning up a bit early, so there’s less to do when you have to help close. You sweep the floors and wipe down all the counters, and start putting away the extra syrups and sauces.
“Y/N!”
You whip your head towards the familiar voice, coming from none other than Jimmy. He runs to the counter, completely out of breath.
“I wanted to get here before you closed,” he exhales. “Sorry I wasn’t here this morning, something happened at work, but I really wanted to see you, and I didn’t want you to think I was mad at you or anything,”
“Oh! Yeah, that’s okay,” you laugh nervously, realizing all the customers and your co-workers are watching you. “Um, do you still want your usual coffees?”
“No, no, my hearts beating too fast already, and I’d only need one now…” he trails off.
“Alright, that’s cool,” you sigh.
“Do you want to go somewhere?” he blurts. “Like, with me?”
“Really?”
“I would’ve called you before, but I…lost the cup,”
You laugh, “That’s fine. Although my shift still has 15 minutes-“
Your co-worker mouths a “we’ll cover for you,” and you nod in appreciation.
“Okay, yeah, let’s go,” you take off your apron and grab your things, following him outside.
You start just walking down the block with him, attempting to process what just happened.
“It was delicious, by the way,” Jimmy says.
“Hmm?”
“The drink you made me. I can see why it’s your favorite,”
“Thanks,” you chuckle.
“Sorry I’m not very good at this,” he ruffles his hair. “I did get across that I like you, right?”
“Barely, but yeah,” you laugh. “Hopefully I did too?”
“I think so,” he nods. “Is it too late for some dinner?”
You shrug, “I didn’t have time to grab some before my shift, so nah,”
“Great,” he smiles, holding out his hand. “Shall we?”
You take it with a grin, hoping tonight is the start of something new.

Riverdale S5 Ep 11. (The Voicemail Episode) -  5 things I loved/ 3 Things to Consider (potentially, spoilers)
Things I Loved:
1. I loved that Riverdale, this (formerly) teen show, was blatantly making a radical commentary about both religion and male violence, but in this sneaky way with a ‘silly’ looking trippy drugged-out music video.   The statement is this: Religion = Drugs = Righteous Violence of Young Men.   Marx said that religion is the opiate of the masses, and Riverdale answered, Nah, it's more like shrooms.
And in fact, according to the show, being two sweet girls hanging out dancing and having fun is better than religion and righteous violence.  Further, violence is Archie’s drug.  I mean this is a set of pretty bold statements, people.  I will also add the crazy young man vigilantes of Riverdale making the Batman rope-slide entrance was fabulous, but I also liked that the music made fun of them, like, Y’all think you’re being heroic but this is so dumb.
2. If you read my retread of Seasons 1 through 4  (the true ending, which was “Graduation”) you’ll know that I love scenes of Jughead Jones waking up from sleep.  He’s so good at it, and I don't know if my abiding interest in this specific thing elevates this to some sort of kink but  I’m ok with that, if it is. (Please tell me in the comments if Watching a Cute Boy Wake Up From Sleep is an actual kink.)  In this episode, Jughead is startled awake by a loud noise from a fevered sleep, and then becomes gradually more alarmed at the noises outside and I loved it.
3. This is not an anti-man blog here, so I will try to tread carefully, but I mean, I absolutely loved that the women are so much better than the men at everything in this episode.
Exhibit A:
Penelope’s cult is so much better than Edgar Evernever’s!  And she is being so honest - Penelope always emotionally worshiped her son, like a lot of misogynist mothers of sons do, and now she’s literally worshiping him.  Also a religion that is founded on a deceased person is much sturdier, I feel, than a religion that is like Worship Me (which is Edgar’s religion).  Plus Penelope is echoing what Jughead used to say about Jason - that his death laid bare the sins of Riverdale!   There’s robes in Penelope’s religion, colorful ones, singing and communion and imbibing from a magic goblet. (Can you tell I was raised Catholic? I still love statuary, robes and altars SO much).
Exhibit B:
Tabitha and Betty are so much better than Jughead at everything, including getting high!  (Jughead is currently just so bad at life he can’t even get high correctly, poor lamb.)  They are better at taking care of their domestic lives and are appalled at how Jughead lives. Tabitha modeling openness and transparency for Betty was terrific:  She asks Betty for help and makes sure to  tell her, though it’s difficult, about that ‘don’t be such a Betty’ comment and the fact that Jughead made a pass at Tabitha, so that she can make her decision to participate with the full set of relevant facts.   Betty’s reaction of wtf?? followed by snorting and then moving right on - I like grown up Betty SO much. She knows it’s not true - they always had fun together, did Bughead, so she’s like, That’s a weird thing to say and then SHRUG.
Exhibit C:
Even when burly men are in a violent confrontation in this episode, the mastermind for both teams is a woman - Veronica on one side, Darla on the other.
4. I loved the two voicemails from Jughead.  Yes yes, of course I would because #Jughead Stan but also - hear me out! - because they rang so emotionally true for me, and showed the difference between still-adolescent Jughead and the now-more-adult Jughead.
First, the one to Tabitha:  These mushrooms make people say & do what they really think, apparently, so Jughead hit on Tabitha because he’s really attracted to her, and his non-defensive, roll-with-punches adult-self apologizing in this abashed but not self-hating way, and the way he is still hopeful that he stands a chance, was lovely.
The weepy, upset voicemail to Betty was expert fan service for the Jughead Stans, but it was thrilling for everyone else too if  the HUGE amount of chatter about it is anything to go by. (Not all thrills are pleasant).   I think it’s because there was a lot of truth packed into both his voicemail and her reaction (while high, but again, the mushrooms make you tell your truth).
Truth 1:  It’s important to express yourself when you’re upset.  Otherwise it comes bursting out at the wrong time, like pus from a festering wound, in a way that helps no one and may hurt you the most.  Truth 2:  Having an ex hung up on you is no fun.   Truth 3: Being confronted with an utterance like, I regret THE ENTIRE time I’ve known you, can make you lose perspective, as in, Betty playing that voicemail isn’t a serve on anyone other than herself and Jughead, together, and that’s why the kind Tabitha won’t bring it up again.
There is SO MUCH discourse about that word “bitch” and a lot of it is very well argued, but I feel no urge to pick a side. What *I* have to say about that is, Jughead using that word in that way with that tone definitively marked an end of Bughead 1.0.  If there’s going to be a Bughead 2.0, it’s going to have to be really different.
5.   I love the character set ups for Reggie and Fangs. Fangs first - is this guy like the world’s most perfect ex boyfriend or what? Fangs is infinitely kind to Kevin.  And Reggie - he’s abused by his dad but he is also loyal to his dad, working for “a Lodge” which he doesn’t actually seem to like in the little that he says about it, to ‘pay off’ his Dad’s debt.   I like the adult that Reggie has become.  “This isn’t high school.”   His calm “Nah, the bad guys pay better” felt like a breath of fresh bracing cynical air but then the actor also managed to push my But I Can Fix Him buttons so kudos, to you, good sir.
3 Things to Think About
a)Veronica is told it's the DIVORCE that is making Archie not want sex but please recall that the Riverdale High School is decimated and Archie is in the process of putting his genitals  - oops sorry - THE BUILDING back together.  He doesn't have a libido without the Riverdale High School building. I've been telling you.
b)Tabitha voluntarily enters into an agreement to lie (by omission) to Jughead about the manuscript handover to Jessica and the playing of the voicemail message. She doesn't know this yet but so far a rule of Riverdale is that you must not lie to Jughead or bad things happen. Interested to see if the rule still holds for Adult Jughead.
c) The show is very much doubling down on the fact that they think using other people’s lives as fiction is absolutely unforgivable.  Riverdale absolutely hates drug dealers (which is why the Serpents are alcohol runners, and kicked out drug dealers) and yet even though Jessica is totally a drug dealer that Betty Cooper fake-FBI knows is a drug dealer, AND  SHE NON CONSENSUALLY DRUGGED TWO WOMEN WHO SAID NO ALREADY, but the fact that she didn’t want her life used in a fictional outlet trumps literally everything.

A Game of Chess
MASTERLIST
This was an anon request to write a fic that involved Spencer’s childhood friend Ethan that appeared in season 2′s episode Jones. To the anon who requested this, I’m so sorry it took so long to write, but I seemed to have trouble getting this fic perfect. But finally, I tweaked it and molded it into a story I’m proud of and really like how it turned out. Shoutout to the wonderful @multifandommandy for helping me with the inspiration for the unsub in this fic. With her suggestion of using the real Axeman of New Orleans from the 1900′s, the unsub in this fic was born. I hope you guys enjoy this fic. Enjoy some sassy, jealous Spencer. Happy reading!

New Orleans.
Home of jazz, amazing food and beautiful sights.
Unfortunately, it was also the home of a current and active serial killer.
You and the rest of the Behavioral Analysis team had been called in for a serial killer running rampant in New Orleans, which meant that left little time to actually enjoy the sights.
“Remind me before we leave to take you to this jazz club I think you’d like,” your friend and coworker, Spencer nudged you with a smile.
“If we have a moment to breathe,” you groaned, taking a peek at the murder board that had already been set up by the local detectives.
“Don’t worry. I’ll make time for my favorite agent.”
He gave you a slight smile and a sly wink as he headed in the opposite direction of you to get started on some geographical profiles.
You felt a flush creep up from your neck all the way to your cheeks. It was no lie that you fancied the intelligent Dr. Reid and some days, you thought he actually reciprocated your feelings.
It felt like the two of you had been circling one another constantly for months, either pretending the feelings didn’t exist or shamelessly flirting with one another. At this point, you weren’t sure anything would ever happen between you two.
That still didn’t stop how flustered he could make you. Such as how he had just done.
It was something special to have his undivided attention. That was a recurring thing for you though. You always seemed to receive a more special kind of attention from him than the rest of your friends—aka the rest of the BAU team.
You were heading towards the table in front of the murder board to set down your things when JJ quite literally appeared out of nowhere by your side.
“Don’t think I didn’t notice that wink,” she smirked knowingly, settling down in a seat at the head of the table.
“Don’t start,” you retorted, cutting your eyes towards her in a warning glance.
“I’m just saying,” she smirked, opening the file and flipping through it before she spoke her next words.
“It’s just a matter of time before the other shoe drops.”
Whatever that meant.
You hooligans think you can catch me, but you can’t. You won’t. I’m much more cunning than you think.
You’ve found victims one, two and three. What about four, five and six? Seven? Maybe they exist, maybe they will exist soon. That’s for me to know and you to find out. If I wanted to, I could slay thousands of your best citizens, for I am in close relationship with the Angel of Death.
“Well, that’s not chilling at all,” you muttered.
A letter had been sent to the NOLA police department, apparently from the killer himself. He was taunting them and your team, that much you knew.
“Definitely a narcissist,” Rossi said, relaying your thoughts, “He thinks he’s untouchable.”
“Not to mention he actually took a line from the infamous Axeman of New Orleans case,” Spencer pointed out.
Everyone blinked at him, clueless.
“The Axeman was a serial killer from May 1918 to October 1919 here in New Orleans. He was never caught, but he typically murdered couples with an axe; axes that belonged to the victims. It’s similar to our current unsub although he’s killing women with an axe. That’s actually kind of similar to the Axeman because he did actually slay a few single victims, some being female and-”
Spencer paused, noticing the entire team staring at him, once again.
“I’m rambling, aren’t I?”
“Just a bit,” you nodded, holding back a grin.
Once the boy got started on something, it was hard to get him to stop. Or not talk 100 mph.
“Is this guy a genius or something? I didn’t even know about that serial killer,” the local detective, named Valadez, whispered to you as Spencer started back up and more to the point.
“You get used to it, trust me,” you grinned.
“The Axeman actually sent a few letters of his own,” Spencer said, looking at the copy of the letter, examining it, “He quite literally copied one sentence word for word.”
“Which one would that be?” Tara asked.
“I could slay a thousand of your best citizens, for I am in close relationship with the Angel of Death,” Spencer read.
“That’s the copied line?” Emily asked.
“Yeah,” Spencer answered distractedly, still studying the writing, “From the Axeman’s letter on March 13th, 1919.”
“So is this just a copycat?” Matt asked.
“I don’t think so,” Spencer answered, “Although the similarities shouldn’t be ignored. He kills women with axes and then sends a letter that has a line that’s verbatim for what the Axeman said.”
“So maybe he’s getting his inspiration from this Axeman guy?” JJ questioned.
“It’s possible,” Spencer nodded.
Spencer was totally in the zone, looking at the writing, tongue poked out of the side of his mouth.
“At most, he has an ego that needs to be stroked,” you said, “There will definitely be more victims.”
“Victim three, Raquel Clayton was discovered outside a jazz club,” Detective Valadez said, studying the murder board.
Spencer’s head jerked up.
“Did you say jazz club?”
“Yeah, does that mean something to you?” Luke asked, curious.
“The Axeman also mentioned in said letter he would spare anyone that was listening to jazz music on a specific night. That night the entire town had dance halls filled with people listening to jazz music. Either his motive is somehow related to this or this guy is just fascinated by the Axeman case. What jazz club was it?”
You were glancing over the detective’s shoulder, reading the file. The name struck you as one you’d just heard earlier in the day. With a smirk, you looked at Spencer.
“Up for a trip to your favorite jazz club?”
“It doesn’t surprise me that I managed to actually bring you here, but under the fact of work circumstances,” Spencer grumbled.
“Hey, we’re here aren’t we? We can enjoy a little music while we ask around and see if anyone has seen anything.”
The club was darkly lit, but was filled with soothing sounds of jazz music. You could see why Spencer liked it here.
“The music is pretty.”
“It is, isn’t it?” he agreed.
You stood for a few moments more taking in the pleasant sights and sounds around you before sighing.
“Guess we better get to work, huh?”
Spencer nodded.
“You start with the bartender and workers around there, I’ll start at the back. I’ll meet up with you later,” Spencer said.
You nodded and headed off to start your first rounds of questioning.
-
An hour later you met a disheartened Spencer. He’d had no more luck than you had. No one had seen anyone suspicious, no one had seen anything, there wasn’t even the first hint of who a suspect was.
This guy seemed to be as invisible as the real Axeman.
“Maybe Jazz was just a coincidence?” Spencer asked.
“You know as well as I do, that there’s no such thing as coincidences in our line of work,” you commented.
He was about to say something when a voice interrupted him.
“Reid, is that you?!”
You and Spencer turned to see a tall man, roughly the same age as Spencer with dark hair and dark eyes. His long beard would’ve been unruly on anyone else, but on this man it seemed to fit him perfectly.
“Ethan?” Spencer’s face lit up, as he hugged the guy.
“It’s been quite a long time since I’ve seen you. What’s it been? 13 years?”
“About,” Spencer nodded, “I didn’t know you were still here in New Orleans.”
“I just got back after some traveling. You can take the boy out of New Orleans but you can’t take New Orleans out of the boy.”
You watched the exchange back and forth, smiling politely.
“Are you gonna introduce me, Spencer?” you asked.
“Well, does Reid here have a girlfriend? Cause if so, he sure does have mighty fine taste,” the man said.
“No, he’s not my boyfriend,” you chuckled, “I’m his partner.”
You held out your hand.
“Supervisory Special Agent Y/N Y/L/N. But you can just call me Y/N.”
He smiled, shaking your hand.
“Reid, you didn’t tell me the FBI had such beautiful girls like Y/N here. If I’d known that, I wouldn’t have dropped out of the FBI so long ago.”
You smiled bashfully as you dropped your hand from his.
“Y/N this is an old friend from Las Vegas, Ethan. We grew up together.”
With a sidelong glance at Spencer you could see him jaw clenching and unclenching. Something he did when he was annoyed. That intrigued you. What was annoying him?
“So you were in the FBI?” you asked, curious.
“Nah. After the first day of training, I dropped out. Left it to this guy here,” Ethan nodded to Spencer, “I knew Reid would be the better agent anyway.”
“What made you drop out?”
You winced, realizing your tactlessness.
“Sorry if that was too personal of a question,” you apologized.
“No need to apologize,” he held his hands up, “With a pretty agent like you, I’d spill all my secrets.”
A slight blush grazed your cheeks and you smiled brightly up at him. It was nice to hear such compliments. It was something you weren’t used to.
“I figured out I wasn’t up for being in the FBI. Much more of a musician, I guess you’d say.”
“Oh, you play?”
“Sax, piano, a little guitar.”
“Impressive,” you grinned.
“So, Reid. You doing better now? No more addiction?”
“Addiction?”
You furrowed your brows, looking at Spencer quizzically.
“It’s nothing,” Spencer mumbled.
“Last time I saw him he was pretty messed up,” Ethan said, demonstrating a shaking hand, “What was it you were on again?”
“Dilaudid,” Spencer answered, lips pressed in a thin line.
“What?”
You had joined the team only eight years ago, in your early twenties, just shy of Spencer’s thirtieth birthday. He’d already been with the BAU for eight years himself by that time. There were a lot of things you didn’t know about his past and apparently, this was one of them.
“Y/N is a newer member to the team,” Spencer said, suddenly seeming more relaxed, “She only joined a couple of years ago.”
“How long has it been since you’ve been in the BAU again man?” Ethan asked, taking a sip of his drink.
“Fifteen years.”
“Damn. That’s impressive. I could never. Guess that’s why I ended up here,” he motioned with his glass, indicating this certain jazz club.
Spencer’s phone rang, but he ignored it.
“Speaking of,” Ethan turned to you, “How would you like to hear some great music sometime? I could get you front row seats. Maybe even play a request or two just for you.”
He winked at you, increasing your flush. It’d been a long while since you’d had a guy hit on you, hence your constant flushing. You were flattered and you were seriously thinking about taking up his offer.
Spencer’s cell started in again. Once again, it went ignored.
“If I get a chance, I’d love to come hear you play.”
He was about to say something when the cell rang again. For a second you actually thought it was Spencer’s phone again, until you felt the vibration against your thigh from your own phone.
“One second, excuse me,” you apologized, taking your phone out of your pocket.
You had a missed call, followed by a new text.
New body found. Meet us at crime scene ASAP.
It was from Emily.
“I’m awfully sorry to break up this reunion, boys,” you said, “But we gotta go. The job calls.”
“No problem. See you around dude,” Ethan said, patting Spencer on the back.
“Anytime you want to take up my offer, just drop by. I’ll hook you up.”
This was said to you.
He raised his tumbler in your direction with a flirty grin as he backed away.
When you turned to follow Spencer out, you realized he’d already left.
You and Spencer arrived at the crime scene ten minutes later.
“What took you guys so long?” Emily asked.
“Sorry, my phone was off and Y/L/N didn’t tell me you needed us.”
You shot Spencer a look.
What the hell was he talking about? You certainly had. Especially after he’d ignored his own ringing phone twice.
“It’s fine, you’re here now,” Emily said.
“Another body was dumped. Female, approximately 25-30, seems to be wounded from an ax,” Detective Valadez said.
“Man, he really did a number on this poor woman,” you mumbled, shaking your head, “She must’ve really pissed him off.”
The victim was so wounded and bloodied, it was difficult to identify much else about her.
“I know what that’s like,” Spencer mumbled.
You glanced at him again, your questioning glance being plainly ignored.
What was up with him?
“Split up. Witnesses said they had just seen her get off of the bus down the street. We need to know how she ended up here,” Emily said, “Y/N, Spence. I want you to start at the bus stop and see if you can retrace her steps.”
So that’s how you and Spencer ended up at the bus stop, him mumbling to himself and you exasperated at his silent treatment.
“How are we going to figure anything out when you won’t even talk to me?”
He continued to ignore you, walking up and down the sidewalk, thinking.
“If you’re mad can you just please tell me why?”
“I don’t know. You might be too busy flirting with some passerby,” he grumbled.
You were even more confused.
“What are you talking about?”
Back to ignoring you again.
“I think we’ve figured out about as much as we can from here, let’s go,” Spencer said, taking off.
He left you behind feeling even more confused than to begin with.
The only bright spot of the next few days was that there was a break in the case.
Thanks to Spencer’s excellent geographical profiling skills, he’d managed to narrow down the unsub’s hunting ground.
The icing on the cake?
In the dead middle of his hunting ground was a jazz club. The same jazz club you’d been to with Spencer the day before, the one where Ethan frequently played at.
Two more victims had been murdered, something that made your heart twist painfully in your chest. You’d been too late to help them, but now, you could get justice for the poor women who had met their untimely end.
To attempt to catch him, the team came up with the idea of sending an undercover in and staking out the place in an attempt to lure him out.
You were going to be the one that would be sent in. In fact, you yourself volunteered to. You wanted to arrest this guy and throw him in handcuffs. It’s what the bastard deserved after his heinous crimes.
Even though Spencer had hardly talked to you for the last few days, he still flat out refused. He kept trying to talk you out of it and convince Emily to send someone else in. But you’d already made up your mind.
“You’re not going in there, Y/N,” he protested.
“Yes. I am.”
Your voice had a steely edge. He wasn’t going to change your mind.
“Do you know how dangerous it is?!” he’d thrown back at you.
“Gee, no. I never thought about it,” your sarcastic tone was harsher than you intended, but it felt good.
If he was going to be mad at you for whatever reason, then so be it. But you had every right to be just as angry at him for giving you the cold shoulder.
“This is serious, Y/N.”
“You know what, Spencer? You have some nerve acting like you care about me all of a sudden. You have no right to order me around like you’re my father. Especially since you’ve been passive aggressive with me all damn week.”
With that, the plan was set.
And you went in.
“Remember, Y/N,” came Emily’s voice in your invisible earpiece, “If you encounter our unsub, we have to catch him in the act. It’s very likely he will attack you and try to hurt you, you know that right?”
You trailed a finger around the lip of your tumbler, looking around the mostly empty bar before answering.
“I’m aware. I’ll be alright.”
“Okay. Just act like a normal young woman out having a night out. We know he’s picked up all his victims here.”
“Got it.”
“Well, well, well. If it isn’t Agent Y/LN,” you heard.
You turned around, seeing Ethan stroll up to you, a sly grin on his face.
“Well hello there,” you grinned, leaning against the bar, “And please, call me Y/N.”
“Y/N,” he said trying out the name, “Might I say you look outstanding tonight.”
You smiled down at the deep teal ruched dress you had donned for the evening. It was a simple dress with thin spaghetti straps and a deep plunging neckline, showing off more of your breasts than you ever had at work. It fit on your body perfectly, hugging your curves and highlighting them. A pair of strappy, gold, stilettos were the only accessory you’d paired with it.
“Thank you. I’ve been anxious to hear you play.”
“Where’s Reid? Did he not come with you?” Ethan asked.
“Oh, he’s around,” you replied coyly.
Just outside, down the street sat Luke, Rossi, Emily and Spencer in an undercover van, watching the entire thing on their monitors.
The styrofoam cup in Spencer’s hand crumpled from his grip on it as he watched the scene unfold before him. Thankfully, he’d already finished his coffee earlier.
Rossi glanced at the cup then to Luke, with a raised brow.
“You okay there Reid?” Luke asked, knowingly.
“I’m fine,” he gritted out.
“Right,” Rossi drawled, clearly not convinced.
“Isn’t that your childhood friend?” Emily asked.
Yup,” Spencer said and nothing else.
“I saved you a seat at the front, just like I said I would,” Ethan said.
Spencer’s blood boiled when he saw Y/N’s hand on Ethan’s arm. She was doing that thing she did when she flirted: that cute half smile and a peek up through her lashes.
He’d seen it before many times. It was just one of the many things he’d noticed about her before.
“I’ll personally escort you.”
Ethan wrapped an arm around her waist, leading her towards the stage. They were briefly off camera for a moment and Spencer couldn’t help but feel the jealousy tugging at him. He wouldn’t even be in this position if—well it wasn’t important right now.
They appeared back on camera, near the stage. He sat her at one of the tables at the front.
“I’ll try hard not to mess up. It’s a bit nerve wracking when you have such a beautiful girl in the audience to cheer you on.”
Spencer fought the urge to roll his eyes.
Y/N actually giggled in response.
“Reid, you’re seconds away from snapping that pencil in half,” Rossi said.
He peered down, not even realizing he’d picked up a pencil to worry in his hands.
“Anything you’d like to share?” asked Rossi.
Spencer looked at the three expectant faces staring back at him and grimaced.
“Not particularly,” he grumbled.
“Reid’s just mad that his friend is making moves on his girl,” Luke stated, nonchalantly.
“She’s not my girl,” Spencer replied.
“Dude, come on. We all know that you like her and just refuse to make a move.”
Spencer glanced at Rossi and Emily who seemed in agreement to Luke’s statement. A glance at the monitors showed that nothing exciting was happening anyway, so there was no way to avoid this conversation with his teammates.
“It’s like a game of chess,” Rossi said, steepling his fingers together.
“What is?” Spencer asked.
“You and Y/N,” he replied, “But it’s like you’re both stuck in a stalemate waiting for the other to make a move.”
He had no reply to that. What was there to say? Rossi was right and it was all his own damn fault.
“Take this as a lesson, kid,” Rossi advised.
“A lesson how?”
“Let this be your motivation.”
-
Ethan had left you since he was up next.
You sat at the table, sipping on your drink when you heard an unfamiliar voice to your right.
“Looks like you’re awfully lonely tonight.”
You turned to see an average looking man dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt. He seemed out of place in such a casual outfit. That didn’t qualify him as the unsub though.
“Maybe I like to be alone?”
That stopped the guy in his tracks. He quite literally backpedaled and left you alone again. You heard a muffled snort in your earpiece.
“You sure know how to tell ‘em,” Luke scoffed.
“Yeah, well, if our unsub is picking up women with lines that bad, we’re in even more trouble than we realized,” you muttered.
You knew from the profile that this unsub was full of himself and egocentric. He would have to be smooth enough to actually lure a woman back with him.
“We’ll keep watching,” Emily said.
You sat alone in peace as Ethan played. He was rather good and you had to say you were impressed.
Your drink eventually disappeared and when you caught Ethan’s eye, you held up your glass just slightly, nodding towards the bar so he knew you were getting a refill. You stood, heading towards the bar, deciding you’d just go for a simple water. You were on the job, after all.
“I’ll take a water, please,” you told the bartender.
He was young, maybe early 30’s with dark hair. He seemed put together, even for a bartender. His outfit was neat and mess free and not a hair was out of place.
“For a beauty like you, you should have a drink, it’s on the house. It’s my specialty.”
He leaned forward to you, giving you a sly wink, as he reached for a glass without even hearing your answer.
“No, that’s okay, really.”
“Oh come on. One drink won’t hurt. I make the best drinks in the city,” he said.
Something in your mind was trying to piece together, but you couldn’t get it to completely form. Shaking it off, you reluctantly relented.
“Okay, I’ll take one then.”
He mixed the drink, poured it in the glass and slid it towards you.
“Now tell me that isn’t the best drink you’ve ever had.”
You took a sip. It was too strong for your taste but you smiled anyway.
“It’s very good,” you lied.
“So, have you heard about these weird ax murders happening around here?” he questioned, wiping the bar.
“Mhm,” you hummed, “Scary stuff.”
“It’s amazing these deadbeat feds can’t seem to catch him,” he shook his head, as if it were a real tragedy.
Neurons in your mind were sparking and there was something about him that was setting you on edge.
“What did you say your name was, again?” you smiled, flirtatiously.
“I didn’t.”
His grin was icy.
Red flags were going up. If he wasn’t your unsub, then this guy surely wasn’t someone to mess with.
“Oh my bad,” you giggled, playing the part of a flirty, young woman, just there for some fun.
“Anyway, all I gotta say is, is that this guy is really proving a point.”
“How so?” you asked.
“You just gotta give the ax to some people,” he replied, slamming his palm down on the bar top, making you jump, “You know what I mean?”
You nodded, seeming interested, but goosebumps were forming on your skin. It was too much to be a coincidence that this guy wasn’t the unsub and he sure had the ego to match the profile.
“Oh excuse me,” you said, reaching for your phone in your purse, pretending like you were getting a phone call, “It’s my boss. She can’t leave me alone even on a night out.”
You smiled apologetically and put the phone to your ear.
“Hello? Yeah, just a minute, I can’t hear you.”
You covered your other ear as if you were trying to hear as you headed towards one of the side doors.
Once you were out of the building, you pulled your phone away, hitting the speed dial for Emily.
“Prentiss.”
“Emily, it’s me. Did you hear any of-”
Before you could finish your question, you felt a hand over your mouth and you were jerked backwards. You kicked and screamed in tandem as your phone hit the pavement and you were dragged back into the darkened alley.
-
“Y/N? Y/N?!” Spencer yelled, panicked eyes looking at the others.
“Everyone move. Now. We believe the suspect has a federal agent,” Emily barked into her walkie talkie.
“Cover the parameter. We have no idea which direction he could’ve taken her,” Luke added over the radio.
Spencer was out of the door before anyone could stop him.
“REID! REID!”
He heard Rossi yell out after him, but he didn’t stop running.
If that son of a bitch dared to hurt a hair on Y/N’s head, he was going to leave here tonight in a body bag instead of handcuffs.
Spencer would make damn sure he’d see to it.
Your back hit the brick wall, the nearby streetlight hitting something metal just right that it gleamed for a split second.
Your heart stopped when you saw the blade of a hatchet in the bartender’s hands.
“I knew the feds had been around here snooping for me,” he sneered.
“How?”
You tried to act cool. This was part of your job, to be in dangerous situations. But truth be told, you were terrified.
“Your little boyfriend Ethan mentioned seeing you and your partner here the other day asking around about me. Little did he know he was really doing me a favor by letting me in on that little piece of gossip.”
Ethan. He had just gotten back from a tour of the world. He was innocent in all this, yet somehow he still ended up mixed up in it.
“He’s not my boyfriend,” you scowled, wriggling against his grasp.
He held you tight with one arm across your neck and shoulders, his arm almost to the point of choking you. You had to stall, had to do something. Where was Emily and the team?
“Where were you that day anyway? I never saw you here.”
“That’s because it was my day off. Lucky break huh?” he snorted, “Besides, I was in search of victim number five.”
Lillie Newton. She was victim number five. She had a name, she wasn’t just a number.
Anger boiled within you. Pure hatred for someone as evil as this man that stood before you.
“Why? Why do it? Were you just trying to be another copycat?”
“You know, one of the things said about the Axeman of New Orleans was that his crimes were mostly ethnically motivated. He killed mainly Italian-Americans or Italian immigrants. For some reason, he must’ve hated them. I found it...inspiring. Of course, I have nothing against the Italians. Unless they’re women, that is.”
“Oh so that’s it? You hate women? Talk about typical psychopath 101,” you spat.
A sharp sting came across your cheek as he slapped you, hard. Hard enough to bring tears to your eyes.
“Listen here, bitch. I’d watch my mouth if I were you, because this baby?” he lifted up his machete for you to see, “This can do a lot of damage. I can’t wait to strike it into you and chop you up so your FBI friends won’t even be able to recognize you.”
You swallowed hard. Your brain was scrambling for a way to escape. You were just about ready to kick him in the groin when he was suddenly yanked away from you, his hard grip leaving your body.
You blinked quickly, not understanding what had just happened until you saw Spencer a few feet away, punching the guy. It wasn’t just one punch either. Two, then three came. You bounded into action then.
“Spencer! Spencer, stop!”
You tried pulling him away as the rest of your team came running into the alleyway. He managed to get one more hit in before you successfully pulled him away and Luke had pulled the unsub up, slapping cuffs on him faster than you realized he even could.
Spencer grabbed you and pulled you close, holding you tight. His head went into the crook of your neck as he clung to you, all of his apparent fear and worry being transmitted from him to you through the hug. No matter what tiff you both may have been in the middle of, he still cared about you.
“I was so scared something happened to you,” he mumbled.
He pulled back, looking over you, assessing you to see if you had any injuries.
“Are you okay?”
“I’m fine. I promise.”
His finger brushed your cheek lightly and you winced.
“Did he hit you?!”
“Slapped me, but I’m okay. It’s just a little sore,” you told him.
“You might have a nasty bruise there in a few days.”
“Least it’s just a bruise, huh?” you smiled a tiny bit.
“Yeah.”
He was gazing directly at you as if no one else were around, as if there wasn’t a bustle of activity around you. In that moment, it was just the two of you.
“Spence.”
You both turned to see Emily, motioning for him, needing his help.
Spencer let go of your arms, stepping back a bit.
“I’ll talk to you later, okay?”
With a nod, you watched him head in Emily’s direction. It had been a long day. A long week actually. But the murderer had been caught and there would be justice for the poor families who had lost their daughters.
That wasn’t all though.
Something had seemed to shift between you and Spencer. Sort of like a chess piece in it’s hesitant movement to another square.
By the time you’d handed over the unsub to the local precinct so he could be their problem, it was well past midnight.
Everyone had been way too exhausted to even think of boarding the jet tonight, so it was mutually decided that they’d spend one more night in New Orleans and head home tomorrow. Everyone had gone their separate ways once back at the hotel.
You headed to your room, managing to score an ice pack for your sore cheek. Unfortunately, after all the excitement, there was no time to talk to Spencer and he’d left the precinct before you had anyway. You made a mental note to check in on him tomorrow and maybe even see if things were okay between you two.
You’d changed out of the dress and into more comfortable clothes—sweatpants and a t-shirt. You were sitting at the small table in your room, icing your cheek and pretty much about to fall asleep when there was a knock at your door. Sitting the ice pack down, you walked to the door, opening it. You were surprised to see Spencer standing on the other side.
Before you had the chance to say anything, he grabbed your face and kissed you.
After your brief initial shock, your lips moved with his so fluidly it seemed natural, like you did this every day.
Minutes may have passed, or it might just have been seconds as you kissed him back, your hands naturally finding a spot to rest against his chest.
You were so stunned when he pulled away, that it took a moment for you to realize he had said something.
“Huh?” you asked, still dazed.
“I asked if I could come in,” he repeated.
“Oh, yeah, of course.”
You stepped aside and let him in, closing the door behind him. Your head was still reeling from the kiss as you turned around and saw him sit down on your bed, his hands running through his hair.
“Come here,” he whispered.
You walked over to him, standing in front of where he sat.
“I’m so sorry,” he began.
Your confusion deepened. Was he sorry about the kiss? About you getting hurt? About being mad?
He said nothing else as he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close to him and holding you tight.
“When I saw the unsub had you…” he mumbled into your neck, trailing off as his voice cracked.
You pulled out of his embrace to look at him. You now stood in between his legs, even closer than you had been before, your body mere inches from his.
“I was so afraid I might never see you again. Suddenly, me being angry at you was the least important thing in the world.”
“Why were you mad? If I did something I’m so sorry, I-”
“Shh, no,” he mumbled, his finger covering your lips gently to silence you, “It was my own fault, I’m so sorry.”
You waited silently, seeing if he was going to elaborate. His eyes closed, his expression looking pained and even a bit embarrassed.
“I was jealous.”
“Jealous?” you questioned, your brows furrowed, not understanding.
“Of Ethan flirting with you,” he sighed, “And you flirting back.”
“I,” you paused, your mind racing, not being able to piece everything together quick enough, “I was just being nice to him, then just playing the part earlier. Why would you be jealous?”
He gave a half laugh, almost a humorless one.
“Because I’m crazy about you, Y/N,” he whispered, his gaze finally meeting yours.
His hand cupped the side of your face, his other hand resting lightly on your waist. You didn’t move from his touch nor did you make a move to push his hands away.
“And seeing you with someone else made me see red. Just the thought of you being someone else’s and not mine because I’d been too scared and stubborn, locked in this chess game, if you will, with you, not making a move. I was afraid I had been too late and I was mad at myself.”
“I’m not interested in Ethan. I only have eyes for you,” your eyes slid to his lips, unable to stop yourself.
You were still thinking of the way his lips had felt against yours. The softness of them, the passion in the kiss, the way his hands had cupped your face and held on firmly like he himself was afraid the moment was just a fluke.
“It’s always been that way.”
Your voice was barely a whisper now as your eyes slid closed and your lips found his again.
This time, the kiss was more heated. Your feelings for one another had finally been laid on the table, igniting a need to act on them.
Your hand tangled in his curls as you kissed him back fervently, suddenly feeling like you couldn’t get enough of him. You had spent years not knowing what kissing him would be like and now it felt like you were simply making up for lost time.
You smiled gently against his lips when he moaned into the kiss. Apparently, he was just as eager for your touch against him, as you were for his against you.
His hands reached for the hem of your top, pulling away to pull it up and over your head. His tongue moved out and over his lips slowly, his eyes taking in your newly exposed skin. Your own hands pulled at his loosened tie, dropping it once it left his body.
Spencer’s mouth met your neck, leaving soft kisses down it as your fingers fumbled with the buttons of his shirt. The simple task seemed so much harder as you were distracted by the feel of his lips on your skin.
In one fell swoop, he’d picked you up and turned, tossing you in quite a gentle manner against the mattress of your hotel bed. His hand ran over your exposed stomach, his kisses moving lower. You chewed on your bottom lip as you watched him, unable to control the growing desire forming between your legs.
You were so caught up in the sensation, it didn’t even register what he had been doing until you felt the slight tug of your waistband being pulled downwards. His fingers gripped the material and pushed it down over your raised hips until it was completely off.
You wasted no time in ridding him of his own pants as well.
Left in only your undergarments, you and Spencer laid practically skin to skin, taking a moment just to enjoy one another. He kissed you again, his slight scruff tickling your face, while his hands roamed your body.
You, also, took your sweet time exploring the new found territory of his bare skin underneath your hands. They ran over his back, his chest, his arms, his sides before finding their way back to his face, your lips moving in a fluid dance with his own.
He reached behind you, unhooking your bra, pulling the straps down until the item had completely left your body. You were almost positive he held back a groan as he took in your naked top half.
“Fuck, you’re beautiful,” he whispered.
Your legs inadvertently clenched at his cursing. It wasn’t often he did it, but something told you that in bed it was a good possibility that he could be a completely different person.
His hands cupped each breast, his lips kissing your throat as he massaged them. His fingertips briefly moved over your peaked nipples, making you moan softly.
Spencer wasted no time though, his touch quickly retreated downwards to the only item left on your body. His fingers hooked into the waistband of your panties and pulled them off, leaving you completely exposed and turned on beneath him.
Maybe it was a mixture of how close you came to death tonight and your feelings for him, but you didn’t want this moment to end. You wanted to hang on to it forever. That’s why you took your time, hands pushing off his underwear, your eyes meeting his.
It was like he could read your thoughts. Being as close as you two had been previous to this, it wasn’t surprising, but knowing you so well in this instance was just on a whole other level of mind blowing. He nodded, wanting to enjoy this for as long as he could too.
His hand covered yours, interlocking your fingers together as he pushed into you. The new feeling of him inside you was overwhelming but really good.
Your hands stayed laced together as he kissed you and moved within you. Your body met his rhythm and soon instead of two, your bodies moved as one.
Breaking the kiss, your head fell back against the pillow as you moaned. You couldn’t wrap your mind around the fact that he felt so incredible. His teeth bared into his bottom lip as he gazed down at you, his desire written plainly on his face.
“Spencer,” you whimpered, pulling your legs up his sides, allowing him a deeper access.
His movements quickened as your pleasure heightened, fulfilling the need for more. You couldn’t help but smile, even as you moaned, at the curl that fell over his brow, moving with each thrust.
“God, Y/N,” Spencer groaned, his forehead falling against yours, eyes closing, “Fuck.”
You briefly registered the other noises in the room besides both of your moans: the bed creaking and the headboard hitting the wall.
“Spence,” you mumbled, whimpering as he hit a sensitive spot, “You're gonna wake up the entire team.”
“Let them hear,” he grunted, “Let them know who you belong to.”
“Whatever you want,” you mumbled, pulling him towards you once again.
Your fingers dug into his back as your high built deep within you. He moaned against your lips, his hands gripping your sides as you both moved frantically, desperate to reach complete ecstasy.
“Fuck, Spencer,” you moaned, your noises suddenly higher in pitch and volume, “Fuck, fuck, fuck.”
He kissed you as you came apart, the fire in your veins shooting through you as quick as lightning. Luckily, his kiss muffled most of your loud moan.
He buried his face in your neck as he soon followed, his own moans filling your ears, much to your delight.
Your fingers tangled in the back of his hair as you panted, starting to come down from the high. His body was slick against yours as he finally turned his face to yours, kissing you once again.
The cool air of the hotel room hit your sweaty skin, cooling it gently, but your insides still felt red hot, both in reaction to the sex and the fact that it was Spencer, the fact that he was as crazy about you as you were him.
The fact that both of you no longer played this complicated game you’d inadvertently been involved in for so long.
It was only after he’d stilled, his body still flush against your skin that he smiled one of his heart stopping grins, before finally speaking.
“Checkmate.”

After getting a phone call from the FBI, you were now sure of one thing:
Karma really needed another hobby other than messing with you, and this break up was definitely not going the way it was supposed to go.
For starters, people who broke up with each other were not supposed to see each other this much. You had different lives, different social circles, different jobs and somehow universe kept pushing you two in each other’s space.
To make things worse, the last time you talked to Garcia she had offhandedly mentioned Luke dragging Spencer to a nightclub much to his displeasure and introducing him to a friend of his. Naturally, your mind was full of images of Spencer in a happy relationship, eventually moving to a house in the suburbs with her and having kids and all that.
“I don’t know what Luke is thinking,” Garcia said, “But I’m two seconds away from pulling him aside and giving him a piece of my mind. Reid is obviously still not over you, ambushing him to introduce him to a girl won’t change that.”
Needless to say, you had been in a terrible mood for the last couple of days.
“What’s taking her so long?” you checked your wristwatch and Nolan looked at you over his newspaper.
“Oh she’s talking to the board of the charity auction,” he said, “There are some last minute changes, apparently.”
You heaved a sigh and checked the time again, “I can’t stay for long,” you murmured and Nolan raised his brows.
“Oh? In a hurry?”
“Me and Spencer and…well, some of his team will go by the woods,” you said, “They found some bones near dad’s cabin close to the weekend house and they think it might help me remember where the rest is buried.”
He made a face, “That’s disturbing.”
“Nah, I thought going on a dead body remains hunt with my ex in the woods near one of my childhood trauma places would be romantic,” you deadpanned, “You don’t do that with your exes?”
“Not really?”
“Oh man you’re missing out.”
He let out a chuckle and shook his head, “I take it things haven’t improved on the heartbreak front?”
“I wouldn’t know, apparently his friend is setting him up with someone.”
“Mm, let me guess,” he mused, “Your plan is to do nothing about it?”
“No, I’m actually following your example,” you smiled at him sweetly, “I’ll just wait for decades and hope the girl turns out to be a serial killer.”
He tilted his head. “Touché.”
“Aw thank you,” you pushed at the food in your plate, “No seriously, what can I do? I can’t just go to him and tell him not to date other people. We broke up— I broke up with him.”
“You could explain the reason behind that.”
“I can’t do that.”
He clicked his tongue, “Well then, I suggest you get ready just in case he happens to ask for your help planning his wedding.”
“You’ve been absolutely no help at all Nolan, I appreciate that.”
“I’m offering you my wisdom and you’re not taking it,” he held up his hands, gesturing surrender, “I also suggested to get his superiors to fix a meeting with him to talk to him about certain boundaries and mistakes but…”
“Get his superiors— I’m sorry, what?”
“I play poker with the head of the department he works under.”
“Of course you do.” You sipped your coffee, “When did you suggest that exactly?”
“Oh not to you, to your mother,” he nodded to himself as he saw the look on your face, “Yeah. But then I saw how it could not only damage some professional relationships, but also it’s better to let young people solve their own problems, no matter how easy it is to solve them with an outsider’s influence.”
You pulled your brows together.
“Try again.”
“I asked your mother and she said no.”
“Oh thank God.” You pinched the bridge of your nose, “Yeah no, don’t do that. We’re not in high school, you know?”
“Could’ve fooled me,” he smiled slightly at the scandalized look on your face.
“Whatever,” you waved a hand in the air, “It’s strange that mom said no though. She doesn’t really like him nowadays, and she keeps listing all his….disadvantages whenever I talk about him.”
“Disadvantages?”
“Mm hm. The other day she said it was maybe for the best in the long run, because he’s an FBI agent so considering his paychecks, we would eventually fight about our future children’s tuition fees.”
Nolan thought for a moment, “She does have a point, considering what FBI pays their agents…”
You blinked a couple of times, “Right,” you said, “That’s exactly why I broke up with him. Because who would be paying for our hypothetical future children’s future tuition fees, yeah. Deal breaker, that one.”
“It could be a contributing factor though—“ he started but you heard your mother’s heels approaching and soon enough she walked into the living room and pressed a kiss on your cheek.
“Darling, I’m so sorry to have kept you waiting,” she told you before pecking Nolan on the lips, making him smile, “This whole charity auction, honestly…”
“Do I have to come to that thing?” you looked between them, your brows pulled together in an attempt to make them take pity on you but your mother tilted her head.
“Yes you do.”
“It’s just that…” you heaved a dramatic sigh, “You know, I’m going through a break up—“
“You’ve been going through a break up for more than a month now, you’re not allowed to use that as an excuse.”
“My heart is broken!”
“Good, focus on charity then.”
You rolled your eyes and turned to Nolan, “What’s the real reason she’s dragging me to this?”
“Oh no, I’m not getting caught in this crossfire.”
“Mom?”
She cleared her throat and sipped her coffee, “The other day when I visited Nolan at work, he happened to introduce me to this very handsome Chief Marketing Officer who’s handling—“
“Oh no.”
“Keep in mind that we pay him more than what FBI pays his agents.” Nolan stated, laughing up his sleeve as if he found it hilarious and you scrunched up your nose.
“Nolan, I know you were born in the eighteenth century but that’s actually not a problem we have these days.”
“He’s single,” your mother said as if she wasn’t even listening and you threw your head back, letting out a whine, “He loves dogs and squash—“
“Jesus Christ.”
“Don’t worry, he’s not sitting at our table,” your mother said, “I fixed another surprise for you at our table, and I figured you’d want to keep your options open.”
“Besides, if your ex boyfriend is moving on…” Nolan trailed off and your mother raised her brows.
“Oh, Spencer has a girlfriend now?”
“No!” you said way too loudly and then cleared your throat, “I mean—I don’t care. But I don’t think so, I would’ve heard it.”
“See? More reason for you to meet other people.”
You pouted, “I hate this so much. I can’t believe I’m being dragged into this nonsense only because you guys are making me, this is seriously bullshit…”
“Y/N, do you want some cookies?” Nolan interrupted your grumbling, “One of my assistants brought them from France the other day.”
You scoffed, “How old do you think I—” you paused for a moment, then shrugged your shoulders, “Actually yeah, I’d love some cookies right now.”
                                                  ***
Unfortunately, when you left your mother’s house you had overestimated the traffic and how long it would take you to get there so by the time you had pulled over by the road leading into the woods, you could only see one FBI car. You didn’t have to wonder who was in it when your eyes caught the sight of Spencer leaning against it and your heart skipped a beat.
“Fuck…” you murmured to yourself and considered for a short second to drive away until others got there, but it was too late. Spencer turned his head, saw your car and stopped dead on his tracks so you heaved a sigh and pushed open the door to step outside. You looked around before you pulled yourself up to sit on the hood before you fished your cigarette pack out of your purse.
“You’re early.” Spencer said and you raised your glances to look at him for a second before lighting your cigarette.
“So are you,” you put the lighter back into your purse, “Came by yourself?”
“Luke is talking with the police.”
“Lovely,” you exhaled the smoke and he crossed his arms, looking up at the sky for a moment before stealing a look at you.
You had no idea what to say to him. After that one day of truce, it was like you were back to being enemies and ignoring each other. The fact that he might have been ready to date another person made you feel even worse if it was possible, especially after that phone call between you. He had said that he was a mess just like you were, he had said you had taken a part of him when you left him, and—
You didn’t even know what you hoped for. You knew it wouldn’t change anything, and yet the thought of him being with someone else was more than enough to make you feel like you were falling off a cliff.
Maybe it was just the truce talking. Maybe he didn’t mean any of that.
Your phone vibrating in your purse made you snap out of your thoughts and you looked at the caller I.D., then frowned and answered.
“Hey, I’m a little busy at the moment.”
“On a Sunday?” Lincoln’s voice reached you, “Who’s the workaholic now?”
“Still you Linc,” you said and Spencer’s head shot up, “What’s up?”
“I just called to let you know that they just moved me to your table.”
You pulled your brows, “I’m sorry, what?”
“At the charity auction. My table was 3, they just e-mailed me to say I’ve been moved to 1.”
“Jesus Christ, you’re the surprise?” you asked, pinching the bridge of your nose, “Somebody needs to stop my mother.”
“Hm?”
“Nothing,” you said, “I…That’s great, we’ll sit together then. If you like sulking the whole night, we’ll be just fine.”
“Come on, it could be fun.”
“I doubt that.”
“Hey, at least you’re not alone.”
“I’ll drink throughout that night, you sure you can keep up?”
“Do you even know who you’re talking to, you amateur?”
“Oh it’s on.” You smiled slightly and he chuckled.
“I’ll see you at our table then. With drinks.”
“Yeah, I’ll be there,” you said before you hung up, and put the phone back into your purse before you felt Spencer’s burning gaze on you, so you looked up at him.
“What?” you asked and he scoffed a bitter laugh, shaking his head.
“Nothing.”
“Professor.”
“I didn’t say anything,” he said, his gaze fixed on the woods and you tilted your head.
“Fine.”
He sucked a breath through his clenched teeth, as if trying to decide whether to say anything or not before you could ask again, Luke approached you two, another car pulling over by your car.
“Hey there.” You greeted Luke as you jumped off the hood and he tilted his head.
“Why are you shorter?”
You motioned at your sneakers, “I figured since we’re going into the woods, heels would be a bad idea.”
“Is this the first time I’m seeing you without heels?”
“Probably.”
“Should we get going?”
JJ stole a look at Spencer and you, then turned to Luke, “Actually, do you mind coming with me to the car for a moment? There’s this file I want to get your opinion on.” She nodded at you, “You guys go ahead if you want.”
You pulled your brows together for a second, trying to understand what was happening but then decided you wouldn’t question it and stepped into the woods, a shiver running down your spine.
It looked way too familiar.
You gritted your teeth and started walking, and it didn’t take long for Spencer to catch up with you.
“So I never got to ask you,” you managed to say after almost ten minutes of complete silence, “That…that blood vial in that petal bowl, whose blood was it?”
“Anthony’s.”
“Right,” you murmured as you kept walking, “Was it….was it something my dad did back then?”
“No.” Spencer said curtly and you looked over your shoulder.
“So then what does it—“
“Are you dating other people?” the words left his lips in a hurry as if he didn’t know how to stop them and you stopped dead on your tracks.
“I beg your pardon?”
He opened his mouth for a moment like he was trying to find the right words but then he closed it and shrugged his shoulders.
“Never mind,” he murmured, walking past you and you gawked after him for a while before you rushed after him.
“No, what was that?”
“Nothing.”
Maybe your whole theory about Spencer being a genius therefore not being able to be jealous wasn’t exactly the truth.
“I’m not— is this about Lincoln?” you held up the phone in your hand before you sped up to catch up with his long strides, “There’s this stupid charity auction bullshit and we’re both attending it, that’s it.”
“Alright,” he murmured, still walking and you let out a breath.
“Spencer!”
“What?” he turned around to look at you, that fire burning in his eyes again, “I said never mind, okay?”
“I’m not dating Lincoln!” you exclaimed “And I— even if I were, at least he’s not someone I met at a nightclub my friends forced me to go, unlike some of us.”
“What does that-” he started but it hit him in a second, “Garcia told you.”
“It came up.”
He raised his brows, “Yeah? How?”
“It just did.” You managed to say even if your cheeks were burning, “So what? You’re going to stand there and ask me that when you’re moving on already?”
“I’m not moving on!” he said as if you had just insulted him, “Besides, you broke up with me remember?”
“Yeah and you wasted no time Spencer, congratulations.” You murmured as you walked past him but as soon as your eyes caught the sight of the huge cabin by the small hill, your breath got caught in your throat and you took a step back, the memory flashing through your mind so fast that the headache hit you out of nowhere.
Your father tugged you by your hand through the woods as you yawned, rubbing at your eyes.
“Are you sleepy honey?”
You nodded, looking up at him,
“Daddy I thought we were going to come here tomorrow, with mom and Mina.” you said as you hugged the huge teddy bear you had brought with you when your father had woken you up and told you that you would be taking a small trip to the cabin.
“We are,” he said, “We will go back home after our hunt is done here.”
“Yeah but mom says Mina and I can’t be outside the cabin at night,” you murmured, “The lake is too close, remember? We might fall in, she says.”
“She’s right, no leaving the cabin by yourself when it’s dark outside,” he said, “Or else no chocolate for a week, you know the rules.”
“Okay, okay…” you yawned again, and your father knelt down so that you could look him in the eye.
“Petal honey, I want you to pay attention,” he said, “Look around. Let’s say you’re in the woods by yourself and you’re hunting. You know how we hunt, right?”
You took a deep breath, “Stab the prey, twist the knife, pull it back and watch them bleed.”
“Very good,” he said, “When you’re hunting in the woods, what’s the first thing you do?”
“Look up at the sky,” you said, “That’s how I know where I am.”
“Good start. How about if your prey is running to get away from you? How do you chase them?”
“People aren’t calm when they’re being hunted,” you repeated what he had told you, “They make noises. I follow that, and wait for them to tire themselves out.”
He nodded, then you both climbed the stairs to the front door of the cabin.
“And what’s the one thing you remember?”
“To stay calm and patient.”
He smiled at you and opened the door to the cabin so that you could see the bloodied person tied to a chair, screaming through the gag.
“Good,” he said, “Let’s go over what we do with the prey, shall we?”
“Y/N!” Spencer’s voice cut through the memory, almost grabbing you and pulling you back to the reality and it was only when you realized you weren’t standing anymore, instead you were on the ground on your knees, gasping for breath.
“I can’t—“ you choked out, pressing a hand over your chest “I—I can’t breathe—“
“Yes you can,” he helped you sit and lean your back to the tree trunk, “You just need to focus on me, alright? Can you breathe with me?”
You sniffled, trying to match your breathing with his and he nodded,
“There you go,” he said with a smile, “You’re doing great. Is it okay if I touch you?”
You nodded your head, still desperate to cling to anything that would protect you from that memory and he entwined his fingers with you.
“Keep your focus on me,” he said as he wiped the teardrop off your cheek with his free hand,  awakening a fire right beneath your cheekbone, “Here’s what we’re going to do, you will inhale when I squeeze your hand, exhale when I stop. Can we do that together?”
You inhaled when you felt his grip tightening around your hand, then exhaled when it became loose again.
“Y/N?”
You let out a shaky breath, “Hm?”
“Why are public proposals so bad?”
A teary laugh escaped from your lips, “Professor…”
“No, I want you to tell me,” he said as you inhaled again when he squeezed your hand, “Why are they so bad?”
“Because they—“ you exhaled, “They’re not private.”
“They could be romantic.”
“But they’re not,” you protested, “They’re not romantic. They’re pretentious.”
“Pretentious?” he squeezed your hand once more and you took another breath.
“If you need an audience for something like that, you’re pretentious yeah.” You said as the nausea slowly retreated and he pushed your hair behind your ear before his knuckles brushed over your neck, it lasted only a moment but it was enough for you.
“Thanks,” you mumbled and he offered you a small smile.
“Anytime.”
“Brings back the memories, huh?” you leaned your head back to the tree trunk and he nodded.
“Yeah,” he murmured, “Yeah it really does.”
You pressed your lips together, “Spencer, why are you helping me?” you asked him, taking him by surprise, “With….all this. I thought you hated me.”
He swallowed thickly,
“I can’t hate you,” his voice was almost a murmur, “I wish I could. Trust me, I tried.”
“Guys?” you heard Luke’s voice and you turned your head to see them approaching, “What’re you—what happened?”
“We’ll meet you there in a second,” Spencer said, shooting JJ a look and she nodded.
“Okay,” she said, “Come on Luke.”
They walked past you to the cabin and you looked up at the sky for a couple of seconds before willing yourself to focus on him again.
“You remembered something,” he said and you nodded.
“A memory,” you managed to say, “I…Spencer, there are dead bodies in there.”
“I know, we found bones in the backyard—“
“No,” you cut him off, “You don’t understand. There are dead bodies in the cabin.”
He pulled his brows together and you pulled your hand out of his before standing up on shaky legs, still holding onto the tree for support.
“Y/N, we can wait-” he said but you shook your head and made your way to the cabin until you reached the stairs. Every cell in your body was screaming at you to run away, but you managed to force yourself to climb the stone stairs and stopped for a moment at the door as Spencer stepped to stand next to you. Everything looked exactly the same as you had left them all those years ago right before your father was arrested.
A shudder went down your spine, the same as the one you had gotten when you woke up in your apartment after being drugged. Something in here was way too dangerous for you and it wouldn’t rest until you were at its mercy so you had to get away before it could dig its claws under your skin, but-
You had to do this. You could do this.
You had been through much worse than this before.
You had survived your father, you had survived his copycats, you had survived everything thrown your way so far, you could survive this as well.
You rolled your shoulders back and stepped into the huge living room, the memory pushing at your mind but you shook your head, forcing yourself to focus.
“We can leave if you want,” Spencer murmured and you dug your fingernails into your palms hard enough to hurt.
There was a reason why police couldn’t find anything in this goddamn place when they first checked. You had repressed the memory just like you had repressed the rest, and now that you were here…
The memories about the cabin were swirling in your head, each more terrifying than other.
“Luke.”
Luke turned his head, “Yeah?”
“Do you mind stepping aside for a moment?” you asked, “Actually, if no one could—if no one could stand on the rug that’d be ideal. Thanks.”
JJ shot you a look but nodded at the two other agents walking around the living room and you slowly approached the magnetic chess board by the coffee table, holding out your hand over the pieces for a second. Panic roared through you but you gritted your teeth and moved the pawn, then put the bishop where your father taught you to put it way back then.
“It’ll be like a treasure hunt, but you need to keep it a secret,” he had told you, “Pinky swear?”
You turned the queen in hand your for a moment, then put it right next to the bishop and the small basement trapdoor which was impossible to see even if someone was looking for it clicked under the rug. Spencer froze for a moment before he and Luke pulled the rug off the floor and pulled open the hatch but the smell coming from downstairs made you cover your mouth.
“Stay here,” Luke told the agents as he went downstairs and Spencer followed him right before JJ did. You stalled there for a moment, trying to repress the fear pinning you to your spot before you stepped closer to the stairs leading down to the secret basement.
“Miss—“ the agent said but you ignored him and made your way down. JJ and Spencer already had their flashlights on as Luke held his gun, ready to pull the trigger at any unexpected movement.
“You can’t be here.” Spencer told you but you weren’t even mood to snap back at him. You dragged your fingertips on the wall until you found the switch and turned the light on, the smell getting worse and worse.
There were three huge boxes by the wall, all tightly shut and you had a feeling—
No, not a feeling. What you had was a memory and you knew exactly what was in them.
Spencer turned to you, apparently ready to tell you to go upstairs again but as soon as his eyes caught something over your shoulder, he froze, his jaw clenching. You could feel your heartbeat getting faster and faster as Luke stopped dead on his tracks.
“Y/N, go upstairs.” Spencer said, his tone way too controlled until you turned your head, “No wait, don’t look—“
But it was too late. The bloodied message on the wall made you gasp as you took a step back, unable to look away as that familiar dread filled you once more, the simple line causing goosebumps to rise on your skin;
Welcome home Petal.

Pairing: Dean Winchester / Castiel Warnings: None Word Count: 2.758 A/N: This is my Valentine present for @blueeyesandpie  ❤️️ Love you soo much! I hope you like it!  Summary: It’s nearly valentine’s day and Dean declines every attempt of Sam’s to set him up on a date. Only for Sam to find out that he had a date all along. “So.”
Dean looks up from the book he was pretending to read, when Sam coughs slightly to get his attention. Sam tries to go for a light smile, but of course, Dean already knows something is up.
“What do you want?” Dean asks and he narrows his eyes. Of course, just because one time Sam had asked to have the Impala for one day, Dean thinks now he always wants something.
“Nothing, just thinking about next sunday.” Sam says and he tries to start this conversation lightly. Dean thinks about that for a moment and then shrugs, of course he doesn't know what the date is.
“Got a date with Eileen?” Dean asks and he wiggles his eyebrows. Even though sometimes Dean is an idiot like that, Sam knows that Dean really likes Eileen. Sam is glad they get along and Dean only talks in the best ways about Eileen.
“Well yeah, cause it’s valentine’s day.” Sam says and he hopes now Dean finally understands what Sam means.
Since he’d been twenty Dean always went out on valentine’s day, got drunk in a random bar, and then went home with any woman he could find. Sam never really cared about that, but he feels like something changed in the last years.
Sam had seen how Castiel had looked when Dean announced he would go out. Sam sighs quietly.
“Oh phew. Already February again huh? Well I do hope you two have fun. Better treat her right, Sammy. You know she deserves it.” Dean answers and Sam would love to slap him against his head.
No matter how smart Dean is (and he is!) some things just go over his head.
“Yeah, well thank you. Do you have any plans yet?” Sam asks and he hopes it’s not too obvious what he’s trying to do. Dean puts his head to one side, just like Castiel always does.
Here’s the thing. Sam is 100% sure that Castiel fell in love with Dean the second he saw him - or well pulled him out of hell. The way he looks at Dean, the way he rebelled against everything he ever stood for, and the eye fucking? Yeah, don’t let him get started on that.
But Sam is also pretty sure that Dean loves his angel back. Maybe he’s just afraid of what everyone will think of him? Sam had always suspected that his brother wasn’t as straight as he claimed to be.
Now it was just getting ridiculous. So Sam hoped Dean would actually take Castiel out and do something about it.
“Nah, not really. Probably gonna watch some movies.” Dean says and he looks back down to his book. Sam pretends he doesn’t see how red Dean’s ears turn. Like always when he’s embarrassed or when he’s lying.
“Well there’s this new bar…” Sam starts but Dean is already shaking his head.
“I’m a bit old for that, don’t you think?” Dean says and he smiles a bit. Sam wants to protest, but before he can say anything else, Castiel walks into the room.
Dean's smile grows even wider.
“Dean could you help me for a moment?” Castiel asks and Dean is already up on his feet. Always happy to help his angel. Sam shrugs to himself and watches how they both leave the library.
Their hands are almost touching, while they walk next to each other.
Maybe Sam has to try harder to get them together.
*
“I could find a date for you.” Sam says two days later, while Dean is making them breakfast. Dean stops in his movement and puts the pan with his bacon down. He looks mostly confused when he turns around.
“What?”
“Well I know someone who would be very happy to go out with you.” Sam says and he hopes Dean doesn’t get that he is talking about Castiel.
“Are you trying to set me up on a blind date?” Dean asks, but he turns around and continues to prepare their breakfast. Damn, Sam had really thought he would be more interested.
Normally Dean loves to go on dates. Well more like, he loved to get laid. Now Sam isn’t even sure if Dean ever had a real date.
“I mean you will be all alone on Valentine’s Day.” Sam says and Dean shrugs, he doesn’t look bothered at all. Instead he puts two full plates on the table and pretends to gag, when he shoves Sam’s plate filled with fruits over.
“Hey, don’t worry about my old ass. You and Eileen really deserve some time for yourself and I don’t wanna disturb you.” Dean says and sits down. He is already shoving food into his mouth, Sam grimaces.
“Just thought it could be fun, you know?” Sam says but Dean is shaking his head again. Dammit, stubborn older brothers.
“Nah. This is your first Valentine’s Day with Eileen and I want you two to have something special. You deserve that Sammy.” Dean says and the smile turns so soft. Sam can’t help but smile too.
He’d always known that Dean cares a lot more than he likes to show. And he already shows his love so much.
“You deserve that too.” Sam answers and he even tries his puppy dog eyes, because he knows exactly that Dean can’t deny him anything. Or at least he’d thought so.
“Thank you Sammy.” Dean says and since his plate is already empty, he actually ruffles Sam’s hair and then goes over to the sink to wash his plate. Sam is a bit stunned.
Eileen would laugh at him.
*
“I don’t like this.” Dean says at not for the first time while he looks at new pants. Sam has picked his own new suit out already, complete with a shirt and everything.
“Come on Dean… we never… we never picked out suits for something fun. Only ever for pretending to be FBI.” Sam explains and he can’t help but get a bit emotional about it.
This time Dean nods shortly, but Sam can see that it means a lot to him as well. Eileen is with them today and she comes back over to them, holding out a nice dark red suit. Sam is glad she only picked out a dark grey one for him.
“Here Dean, try this one.” Eileen says and Dean doesn’t even complain. Sam knows that he doesn’t dare to say ‘no’ to Eileen.
“He still doesn’t want a double date.” Sam says, while they sit down on the little chairs and wait for Dean to change. At least he had agreed to come shopping with them.
“You can’t force him, sweetheart.” Eileen says and Sam knows she’s right. He just wanted his brother to be happy. He deserves that more than anyone and Sam is sure Castiel would happily join them on Valentine’s Day.
He also knows it’s unfair to set them up like this. Their love should grow on it’s own.
“I know. Maybe one day.” Sam agrees and Eileen kisses his hand. Sam loves it when she does things like that. Her smile is always so beautiful, Sam leans closer so he can get a real kiss.
Just as they kiss Dean steps out and awkwardly stands there.
“I knew it would look good.” Eileen says and Dean’s smile is shy and vulnerable. Maybe he does dream about a relationship too. Of course he does, Dean is softer than he wants to admit.
“Thank you.” Dean says and he makes a turn in front of the mirror. Sam can’t help but smile at that. They really deserve this. A break and a few good moments.
“You should take it. You never know when you need a suit.” Sam says and Dean looks a bit lost in his thoughts, but he nods as well.
“Yeah… maybe I should. Uhm… Sammy can we talk for a second?” Dean says then and Sam nods. Eileen winks at Dean and squeezes Sam’s hand before she walks back out in the shopping area and looks at a few dresses.
“What’s up?” Sam wants to know, a bit worried because normally nothing good comes out of their talks.
“I uh… Sam I… I already have a date on Valentine’s Day.” Dean says and Sam is surprised by this, because why hadn’t Dean said anything? Sam’s shoulder slump down a bit, he can’t help it.
Well then again Dean had never told him about Cassie before they had visited her for a hunt. Or about his first love at the foster home he had been in when Dad had sent him away for a few weeks.
“Oh but that’s great Dean!” Sam says, because if Dean makes such a thing out of it, it has to be more than just a short fling.
“Yeah. Eh… just… it means something to me and that’s why I don’t want this blind date thing you offered so many times.” Dean says slowly. He looks nervous and is licking more than once over his lips.
Sam puts a hand on his shoulder.
“Hey, all good. I just want you to be happy. I hope your date goes well and that one day I can meet your sweet Valentine.” Sam says and Dean seems so relieved.
“Yeah I really hope that too.” Dean says and he hugs Sam as hard as he can before he hastily goes back into the changing room.
“You better buy the suit though! Pretty sure it will increase your chances.” Sam snickers and Dean holds his hand out of the changing room to show him his middle finger. Sam laughs loudly.
And tries to ignore the bad feeling.
He had really hoped for ‘Destiel’ to come true. Charlie would’ve been so proud.
*
“This looks really amazing.” Sam says, when he and Eileen sit down at their reserved table. He’d never been to this restaurant, even though he had known it was rather popular in Kansas.
He just never had an opportunity.
“I hope they have some nice burgers.” Eileen laughs and Sam can’t help but kiss her again. He can’t even remember the last time he’d been this happy.
Their table is at the back of the restaurant and Sam sighs happily, when he looks into their menu card. It looks very promising.
They order shortly after sitting down and Sam has to say everyone is very nice here too. Eileen holds up her glass of wine and Sam smiles. Just as he takes his own glass, so he could chink his glass against Eileen, he hears someone laugh.
And he knows that laugh.
“Dean?”
Luckily Sam doesn’t say it loud, so nobody turns around to them and he doesn’t cause a scene. Eileen frowns and he signs it this time, her eyes widen and she looks around herself.
Just then does Sam spot him.
Dean is sitting not too far away from them and he is even wearing the red suit. His hair is neatly styled and his face is flushed. Sam is speechless, because when did Dean ever look so carefree?
“Oh.” Eileen says and Sam grins. Sadly they can’t see Dean’s date, because there in the middle of the room is a huge vase with flowers in it, so high that it actually touches the ceiling.
Sam almost swears.
“You wanna peek?” Eileen says and Sam laughs, before he shakes his head. He is here for his date with Eileen. So he holds out his hand and falls back into an easy conversation with her.
“I can’t believe I went so many years without having you in my life. Can’t imagine how it must feel for you.” Dean says and Sam hates that he can hear him, even though he’s not next to them. It’s clear that Dean is really in love.
Sure there had always been weird flirt lines, but nothing ever sounded like that. It sounded so honest, Sam even missed his date’s answer.
Their meals come and Sam focuses back on flirting with Eileen. He would give Dean his privacy, he knows one day he would meet his date anyway.
The food is delicious and Eileen orders them some ice cream afterwards. Sam can’t help but think about their future, maybe one day he could pull a ring out at a restaurant like this?
“So how about we go somewhere private?” Eileen says while she licks her spoon clean. Sam almost chokes on his mouthful of ice cream when he hears that. But he can’t help but nod and eat a bit faster.
Eileen laughs at that and Sam hastily pays for their meal. He gets her coat for her and helps her in it. Her dress is really stunning today, but Sam knows it must be rather cold outside and they decided to walk back.
“Ready to leave?” Sam asks and he is glad he took an umbrella with them. It looks as if it rains a bit outside, but he knows that wouldn’t bother Eileen.
“Yeah, is your brother already gone?” Eileen asks when they stand up and look around. Sam nods, he hadn’t even realized that Dean’s chair is empty. Seems like they were a bit faster. Too bad.
Outside it’s a bit cold and Sam takes Eileen’s hand in his own. The Impala is still standing there and Sam frowns at that. Is he now imagining things?
“I never knew a love like ours was possible.”
Sam turns around again and there is Dean. He’s standing a little bit next to the restaurant, leaning against a wall and…
“Holy shit!” Eileen says but her voice is full of glee.
Castiel jerks a bit and breaks the kiss. Dean looks more surprised than angry and Sam can’t help the huge smile on his face.
“Oh my god I called it!” Sam says and he gives Eileen a high five. Now Dean looks a bit grumpy, but he is still holding the angel’s hand.
“What are you doing here?” Dean asks, while Castiel seems mostly confused. Sam could kiss them both.
“We had our Valentine’s date here.” Eileen says and points at the restaurant. Dean promptly turns a red that bites itself with the red of his suit.
“We had ours here too. It was lovely.” Castiel says and his smile turns so soft when he looks to Dean, who shyly nods. Castiel kisses his warm cheek again and Sam can’t help but press Eileen closer to himself too.
“So uh… well then let’s get over with it. Eileen, Sam, this is my boyfriend Cas. We uh… we got together 4 months ago.” Dean says and he tries to sound confident, but Sam knows he’s actually pretty scared.
“I’m so happy for you!” Sam says and he goes over to hug his brother. Eileen uses the moment to hug the angel as well.
“You’re not… uhm surprised?” Dean asks and Sam knows he wanted to use a different word. Sam shakes his head.
“Well a bit, but I’m so glad.” Sam says again and Dean takes a deep breath. He’s relieved.
“You tried to set me up with someone else.” Dean says and Sam laughs. He knows that Castiel probably wants to know about that, too.
“Actually I tried to set you up with Cas, you damn idiot.” Sam says and Dean looks so confused. Sam snickers at that and he can see that Eileen and Castiel start to laugh as well.
This family is really dumb sometimes.
“Oh.” Dean says and then his smile grows so wide, that it must hurt. This time Dean hugs him. Sam sighs happily.
“So I hope Castiel treats you right.” Sam says, but he looks at Castiel.
“I love your brother more than anything.” Castiel answers and he doesn’t seem to be intimidated at all. Dean steals a shy kiss from him.
“I… Sam, I really love him.” Dean says and Sam is so proud of him for that.
“I know.” Sam whispers, because you can really see it. Sam is so glad that they both found their soulmate.
“So maybe you can take us home with you? We wanted to walk but I didn’t know it would be so cold to be this hot.” Eileen says and points at her dress. Sam pulls her into his arms again and kisses her.
She’s right, then again she’s always hot.
“Uh sure, but Sammy drives!” Dean says and throws his keys at Sam, who catches them rather clumsily, because he’s so surprised.
“What why?”
“So I can make out with Cas on the backseat!”
