As a holiday gift, I commissioned Aoife O'Dea to sing Luthien's Lullaby from the Lay of Leithian musical.

There couldn't be a more perfect fit- Aoife, who played Arwen in Watermill Theatre's Lord of the Rings musical last year, and Luthien, Arwen's elven ancestor, using the magic of song to send us off to sleep.

In response to your question asking about a list of Russian rock opera related tags to block, following are the ones I'm aware of.

lol the rock opera, lay of leithian the rock opera, lay of leithian rock opera, Лэ о Лэйтиан, finrod rock opera, finrod the rock opera, finrod zong, beren and luthien equestrian musical, and Сказание о Берене и Лютиэн.

If you want, here are the tags used to identify the main actors in each: maxim rakovsky, Максим Раковский, mikhail potekhin, Михаил Потехин, vilena sokolova, Вилена Соколова, yaroslav bayarunas, Ярослав Баярунас, andrey birin, pavel dorofeev, emil sales, alexander rychkov, daria burlyukalo, and evgeny egorov.

Вы читали "Детей Турина" и "Берена и Лютиэн"? Я их тут перечитываю, Вы меня в свой Средиземный заход тоже затянули ;) Кстати, а как Вы относитесь к Матрице? Новый фильм вышел просто шикарным! Он сильно отличается от оригинальной трилогии, но его определённо стоит посмотреть. Мне не часто такие сиквелы-вбоквелы нравятся, но этот зашёл ;) И картинка наконец не тёмная!

Ну, я читала то, что про них есть в "Сильмариллионе", но отдельные произведения, если таковые есть - нет (помню, что про детей Хурина точно есть отдельная книга). Хех, я рада, присоединяйтесь к горению :D Сегодня вот, кстати, как раз слушала "Лэ о Лэйтиан" Скади - концепт-альбом (мюзикл в исполнении одного исполнителя?) про Берена и Лютиэн, очень по душе пришлось.

"Матрица" - один из многочисленных пробелов в моём поп-культурном образовании, я ни одной части не видела. Надо добраться как-нибудь, что ли...
